Age is but a Number, Love is Infinite

Dean x Reader

Word Count: 2,775

Warnings: age difference(nothing underage the reader is 21), language, implied sexy times

Request: Hey it’s ok if you don’t wanna do this but I was wondering if you could write a fic where Dean is his current age and the one reader just turned 20 but like her and Dean have known each other for a long time and have been together for a while and other people always say stuff about their relationship but they’re still just really happy together, maybe w/ a bit of smut?

A/N: I changed a few things like I said I would but overall I think I got what you wanted!! Shout out to @leatherwhiskeycoffeeplaid for being an awesome beta!! I hope you all like it and feedback is always appreciated!!! :D

10. Most disliked arc? Why?

I guess it’s more of a de-arc since her actual character arc concluded with such a disappointing fizzle, but I’ll never stop screaming about what they did to Elizabeth Swann.

17. Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen…

Now that I started, I might as well continue by saying that Will and Elizabeth getting married was a terrible idea for so many reasons:

1) They’d spent the larger part of a year (likely more) either apart or basically at odds due to some very real issues concerning differing goals, worldviews and morality etc. that they never had a chance to even talk through before he became Captain Squid and she was forced to become a land-bound housewife.

2) The whole housewife part. For fuck’s sake. The story could have had a more ambiguous ending with a promise of them someday meeting again and reconciling after his duty has ended without them bound by matrimony and the lovely implication that she needs to stay 100% faithful or his soul is eternally damned or whatever. I’m not the biggest fan of Will, but I don’t think even he would have wanted the strongly implied two decades of single motherhood and essential lonely widowhood for her. And she was the Pirate King, godfuckingdamnit, not some random seaman’s wife. If she’d wanted that she should’ve just married James and been happier that way too.

Also, James should’ve just escaped with Elizabeth and spent the rest of his days as her royal advisor (and lover #2, obviously), okay. I honestly think the story would have ended differently if he’d been on the side of the heroes (or, well, pirates :D) – it might have meant that he’d have become the new Captain of the Dutchman, but still.

23. Unpopular character you love?

Do I love any unpopular characters? I’m not sure. Hmm. Does James Norrington count? :D Elizabeth probably does, at least, as people are still hating on her.
