i had no right asking her this

anonymous asked:

I was talking to my Nana and low key came out by telling her I was not interested in sex and would rather sit and play Skyrim than have sex, and at first she said that whole "maybe you haven't found the right person yet" but then she thought for a second and said that some people just don't want sex and her mum only really had sex to reproduce and that was it! Sorry if that is a bit tmi but it just made me so happy!!!

That’s awesome! You have a cool nana:D (also it’s not TMI, thank you for sharing!)

Wanda couldn’t always control her powers. She was still learning how to gain control. Sometimes that meant her telekinesis powers went out of whack, and sometimes that meant she could read people’s minds without even trying. The latter happened today, right when you walked in the door.

Your thoughts were immediately running through Wanda’s mind. Okay. Stay calm. It’s Wanda. You’ve been friends for a while now. Besides, it’s not like she knows I’m in love with her or anything like that.

Wanda’s mouth dropped open as she heard your thoughts. You were in love with her? She had to fight back the urge to smile. She never thought someone as beautiful as you would love someone as screwed up as her.

Your voice snapped her out of her thoughts. “Wanda? Everything okay?” you asked.

A small smile formed on Wanda’s voice. “Yeah. Everything’s great.”

Request: Hey, I was wondering if you could do a Henry Mills Imagine? Could you do one where the reader and Henry get caught making out

You and Henry had been together for a while and everyone knew that you were together, it was no secret you were never alone together though, so you only ever really shared innocent kisses and well surprisingly it was Henry who was getting annoyed one day when you came to his place and when you turned Henry was right behind you. “Hi.” You smiled and he smiled back.

“We’re alone.” He smiled as he pulled you towards the sofa.
“How comes?” You asked and he smirked.
“Mum said it was too dangerous for me to go with her and I agreed so that I could spend time with you,” Henry answered.
“Aren’t you a genius.” You smirked tapping his nose and skipping towards the sofa.

“Do you think Henry is okay?” Emma asked Snow as they walked through the town.
“What do you mean?” She asked looking over at the new mum.
“Well, usually he doesn’t take no for an answer,” Emma mumbled.
“I’m sure he’s fine.” She smiled. “Maybe (Y/N)’s laziness is rubbing off on him.”
“(Y/N)?” Emma asked.
“Well, they are dating…” Snow said carefully and Emma nodded, then she stopped eyes widening.
“They’re dating!” Emma said.
“You didn’t know?” Snow asked.
“What!? No, I knew but they’re alone together!” Emma said turning.
“They’re kids let them be kids.” Snow smiled.
“They’re not kids, they’re hormonal teens.” Emma glared as she walked back towards the apartment.

Henry had you straddling his waist your hands on his shoulders while his hands were on your hips. “You mum is going to figure it out…” You said breathlessly.
“Shh.” Henry smiled connecting your lips again.
“I knew it!” Emma’s voice sounded from the door, you pulled away eyes moving lazily to your boyfriend’s mum, you weren’t embarrassed by Henry was.
“You knew what?” You asked resting your lips against Henry’s forehead.
“You two!”She pointed.
“…Are dating? Making out? Being teenagers?” You supplied and she glared.
“You’re not allowed to be so cool about this! You just got caught!” She pointed at you and you rolled your eyes.
“And I called it.” You mumbled kissing Henry’s cheek before getting up grabbing your stuff and leaving. “My window’s always open!”

Pillowtalk Pt. 1

Barry and Iris have a really awkward conversation after they have sex for the first time.

Barry pulled Iris into his chest and laid a tender kiss on her forehead. Their skin was slick with sweat, still covered in the afterglow of their dalliance, but he wanted her as close as possible.

Iris placed a thoughtful hand to his chest, right over his heart.

The rhythm was so fast, it knocked against her hand. If Barry wasn’t a speedster, it would be cause for concern. Now, it had just become a facet of who he was; another thing added to the list of things that made him special.

Barry placed his hand on top of her own and gave it a tiny squeeze. She smiled until her eyes met his face. He lay there, stone-faced, staring at the ceiling.

“Are you okay, Barr?” Iris asked. Maybe this had been a mistake.

“Yeah…I’m good,” he said half-heartedly.

“Okay” is what she said but, “Was it good?” was what she thought. This had not been her first rodeo. Nor had it been his. But it had been their first time together.

It had been the first time, they had ever physically expressed their love for each other. It had been the first time, they’d ever seen each other at their most vulnerable, feral stage.

The transition from friends to boyfriend and girlfriend had been the most natural thing in the world. Iris loved Barry endlessly, had for many years. At first, she didn’t want to believe that her love for him had developed into something more, but eventually, she couldn’t deny it.

But the thought of becoming lovers had terrified her. Kissing was one thing, but crossing that line, and allowing herself to be completely open to him was another.

It wasn’t an easy thing; stripping away their safeguard and succumbing to their physical desires. It’s not that she hadn’t wanted to; she had, more than anything. She burned with fire for Barry, and it had been hard to resist him for as long as she had. But this made things real.

Before, they’d had the guise of chasity to protect them. They had taken things agonizingly slow. If it all went wrong, they would probably be able to bounce back from it. Now that sex was involved, things would never be the same between them. If their relationship didn’t work out, their friendship might not ever feel familiar again.

“What’s wrong?” Barry asked, her silence making him uncomfortable. “Did she not like it?”

Barry had only ever had two serious girlfriends. And even though he had a working knowledge of anatomy, he always questioned himself when it came to sex. And those were just regular women. This was Iris.

“Iris?” He asked again. He really wished she’d say something.

“Was it good, baby? Was I good?” Iris blurted out, worry evident on her face.

“You were amazing, Iris. It was mindblowing.”

Her face softened. “I was worried.”

Barry chuckled in disbelief. “Worried?”

“I know it sounds silly. But I was worried that you wouldn’t like it. That I wouldn’t be able to satisfy you.”

“Iris, that’s crazy thinking.”

Iris sat up on the bed and pulled the sheets up to cover her bare chest.

“Not really. Barry, you have had years to build up this fantasy of us. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to live up to it.“

“You gotta admit that’s a lot of pressure,” she added.

Barry laughed again. “Don’t you know that no fantasy I’ve ever had could compare to what we just shared..and you’re right I have loved you for years. But it just amplified the experience.”

“Yes. I didn’t know that I could feel that good. You’re breathtaking. Your body-” He couldn’t even find the words.

“I was worried too,” he added, after a moment.

Iris laughed this time. “Why?”

“I mean, I-”

“Am perfect.” Iris interrupted. “You were so loving and tender with me, Barry. You are an amazing lover.”

Blood rose to Barry’s cheeks. He hated that he’d had to ask. But she had been so damn quiet the whole time. And she wouldn’t even look at him.

“Seriously? I couldn’t tell if you were enjoying yourself.”

“Barry,” she said, an heir of embarrassment in her voice, “I was soaked. You definitely satisfied me, baby.”

Barry bit back a smile. He had been worried about finishing prematurely, but it had been Iris who came first, soaking him and their bed sheets. Still, as a scientist, he knew that physical arousal didn’t always equate pleasure. Hearing her confirm that she was satisfied was like music to his ears.

“Well, I’m glad,” he said, relieved.”

“You had doubts? Why?”

“Well, you wouldn’t look at me. And you didn’t moan. Like at all.”

“I was holding them in!.” Her words came out in a roaring laugh, way louder than she’d intended them too.

Barry laughed too .“Why?”

“Because! I–“

“I was afraid that you wouldn’t like how I sounded. Or that you wouldn’t like my sex faces.”

“Iris-” he said, in astonishment “. I’d love anything about you. And that’s not a lie. “

“I mean, I know but-”

“No buts.”

Barry sat up, and pulled her onto his lap, allowing the sheet that was covering her to fall away. He bit his lip at the sight of her bare chest and slid his hands down her waist.

“Iris West, you are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever had the pleasure of laying my eyes on. There’s nothing you could ever do to turn me off. “

” Aww, baby, do you mean that?“

"More than anything.” He took her arms and placed them around his neck and, once again, slid his hands down her slender frame.

“Let’s try this again… If you’re up to it, of course.”

“I think I am.”

“And this time, no holding back. I wanna see your sex faces,” he said before he brought his mouth to hers.

She laughed against his teeth. “Deal”

“For what it’s worth, your O face is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.” Iris added, once they parted.

Barry chuckled. “Good to know. I couldn’t have hidden it if I tried.”

A thing i did for @rhodo.court over on instagram, its my submission for #rhodoquest2, if any of you guys know what that means. The one in the middle is the main gemsona i use for the court, calcite, and the other are pink jasper and maroon quartz, on the left and right, respectively. The quest was that my gem was asked to a friendly spar, and so i had calcite lead the charge, using her “weapon” which is that she can strengthen gems around her.

“It’s always gonna be this way, isn’t it? Me loving him he loving her.” You asked and she just looked at you with her eyes the eyes set in such a way that she didn’t have to open her mouth for you to know her answer. After being friends with her for seven years this was one of those times where you knew what was on her mind. It was always you, her and Hoseok, the greatest friendship[ that anyone could’ve ever dreamt up. It just had to be you right, of course, you had to be the one to fall in love with your best friend.

It all started senior year of high school, prom was getting closer and closer and you and her being so excited for it put a smile on Hoseok’s face. He was always there for some reason. Whenever one of you needed him he was always there at your beck and call you all depended on each other and trusted each other it was an odd pairing to mot but to each other, you meant the world. You’d pulled up to your boyfriend of a year’s house. He gave you they key a couple of months after you were together as an anniversary present, you guys were head over heels for each other. His birthday was today and you had something planned for him when he came back from his job. You clutched the robe around your body and then put your trench coat over it exiting the car as your heart pounded within your chest. Your confidence skyrocketed after you caught a glimpse of yourself in the car window. You carefully walked inside after unlocking the door, walking down the hallway to his room. As you neared the room you could faintly hear the sounds of moans followed by the banging of a headboard hitting the wall. You opened the door and there he was on top of another woman having sex with her in the same place that he’d had sex with you multiple times.

“What the fuck is this,” you’d yelled and all movements halted as he looked behind him to see you there with a bag in your hand makeup started to wash away from the number of tears spilling out of your eyes. “Babe it’s not what it looks like.”

“Enlighten me because I really wanna fucking know,” you felt yourself spiraling out of control. He just sat there mouth gaping, the girl sat down next to him not saying anything. In the bag, there was a glass figurine of a little hippo since that was the nickname you gave each other. You took it out of the bag and hurled it at the wall behind their heads and quickly rushed out. After slamming the front door and leaving the keys you hopped in your car and drove you weren’t paying attention to anything but somehow you found yourself at Hoseok’s house. You banged on his door repeatedly until he came and answered it standing there in only shorts looking like if he was woken up from sleep. His eyes widened when he saw you with tears running down your face and ushered you inside.

You don’t know what snapped but you thought that everything was fine until Monday morning when you Hoseok and her walked into school. You’d seen his face and your heart clenched still hurting at the fact that he cheated on you. But as you were trying to not pay attention your friend started screaming yelling at someone to stop and that’s when you saw. There was Hoseok on top of him pounding his face in with his fist. Your ex struggled to get out of his grip but knowing Hoseok and the way that he was going he’d already blacked out and there was no stopping him.

“Do you know how it felt looking at her crying in my arms because you couldn’t stay loyal.” After every work, he emphasized it by punching him harder. Your ex passed out and that’s when everyone tried to get Hoseok off it wasn’t until you spoke up that he halted all movements. After hearing your broken voice plead for him to stopped was when he stopped resisting he stood up his steps staggering his face drunk with anger his fists bruised and he stared at you and let the school security escort him to the office.

After he finally got out of the office you took him home and bandaged his hands he said nothing and neither did you but for completely different reasons. He thought that you just needed some time because of everything that happened but in reality, there was a feeling in your stomach that wasn’t there before. The way that he’d effortlessly just lunged at your ex without hesitation, it triggered something in you. He wasn’t allowed to go to prom so ou and her didn’t go either, you stayed with Hoseok.

Months passed and the three of you went to the same college together but things were hard for you. It all happened so quick you falling in love with Hoseok it became too much for you so you slowly started distancing yourself from him until she called you out on it and that’s when you spilled it to her but it was no use. By the time she’d convinced you to confess your feelings it was too late he had a girl on his arm and was introducing her to you as his girlfriend and you to her as his best friend.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months until it was spring break and you three with the addition of Hoseok’s girlfriend were going back to your hometown to let off steam. You were finally old enough to use your parent’s beach house on your own and that’s where you were going to stay. When you arrived Hoseok announced that he was going to take the car and get some groceries you offered to go with him but he just shook you off and told you to try to get to know his girlfriend better.Your friend had already fallen asleep in one of the rooms so it was just you and the girlfriend. You proceeded to show her all the pictures that your parents had of you Hoseok and your friend.

“This one was from junior year my dad took us to Six Flags and we convinced Hoseok to get on one of the rides he screamed so hard I thought he was gonna cry.” You laughed a little at the memory of Hoseok almost collapsing to the floor when you exited the ride.  She looked at you strangely and then spoke up. “So how long have you been in love with him.”

Your heart skipped a beat and your eyes widened a bit. You laughed bitterly before replied “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“ I mean I totally get it falling for him but come on be logical you’re not really in his league,” she said laughing a bit. You choked on your spit a bit coughing. Did she really just.

“I don’t really think that he’d go for someone like you so spare yourself the heartbreak.” She said this while shrugging and before you could stop yourself your fist was making contact with her jaw. She screamed out at the sudden pain and to make things worse that’s the moment when Hoseok walks through the door. He put the things on the counter and quickly rushed over to you two.

“Baby what happened are you okay?” your eyes started tearing up looking at him with her the little pieces of your heart cracking. You walked to the kitchen counter grabbing the car keys running out.

After a couple of hours, you made your way back to the house. On the counter, you found a note from your friend saying that she went to spend the night with her parents who desperately wanted to see her.Other than that the house was unusually quiet.Hoseok rounded the corner wearing some basketball shorts and a plain white shirt. “Where’s your girl?” you asked bitterly. He sighed and muttered “Gone.”

You sighed and go to apologize but Hoseok was grabbing your face and pressing his lips to yours. Your eyes were opened wide until you closed it and started to kiss him back. You tasted tears and for a moment you thought that it was your tears but you pulled back and looked at him to see that it was him who was crying.

“After you left our friend came out of the room and told me what my girlfriend did, and why you got so angry.” You stared at him as he talked. “Why didn’t you speak up earlier, didn’t you notice, why did you think I beat that guy up in high school for you?” He took both of your hands in his hands looked you in your eye and said, “ I was in love with you even before you were in love with me.”

Then you were kissing your heavy breaths mingling with one another’s teeth clashing as you let him lead you to the bedroom. His hands were under your shirt taking it off of your body and you did the same to his shirt. You two roughly hit the bed as you climbed on top of him and reached behind you to unclasp your bra letting your breasts free. His breath got caught in his throat as he stared up at you. The light from the moon shining into the room hitting your skin making him even more mesmerized than before. You bent down and kissed behind his ear and then his neck whispering, “This belongs to you now.” He let out a moan and flipped you over then hooked his hands in your shorts and pulled them down.

After throwing them to the side he took his time kissing up your legs to your thighs and lightly biting them. He took one of his fingers and lightly rubs you through your panties. You arch your back a little at the contact wherever he touched seems to heat up making the whole situation too much for you. He starts leaving kisses on you and you start to let out quiet moans as you feel yourself get more and more aroused.

“Hoseok please I’ve waited too long.” He nods and removes your underwear along with the remainder of his clothes. He settles himself in between your legs and starts to enter you slowly. He puts his head in your neck and starts breathing hard. The burn of your body trying to get used to him slowly disappears. You gasp as he stretches you and when he finally gets all the way in you let out a long strangled moan. He’s inside you pulsing. You roll your hips slightly signaling him to move and he does. He rolls his hips stroking in and out of your face still in your neck. The whimpers he lets out gets drowned out by the moans you release. He starts speeding up and you clutch onto his back the intensity building up in your stomach. Your moans getting more drawn out. You feel your orgasm nearing and you grab the hair at the back of Hoseok’s head and lift it to look in his eyes. The pleasure makes you tear up a bit making your sight blur but you blink it away feeling Hoseok’s thrusts getting more sloppy hinting that he’s close too. Your entire body seizes up and shudders as you reach your orgasms several long moans leave your mouth subsiding into small whimpers and screams. Hoseok moans at the feeling of you pulsing around him. He speeds up some more chasing his own orgasm. You scream out at the overstimulation. “Too much.” you moan before you feel him release into the condom collapsing on top of you. You both look at each after a while and start laughing his smile making your heart clench. He rolls over and kisses your nose. You go to open your mouth to say it bust he beats you to it.

“Shh I know and I love you too.”

i had the rudest lyft driver yesterday who tried to start the ride even before i got in (probably because everyone was drunk for picnic day and she thought she could get away with it) so when i got into the car i asked her why she did that and she got so defensive and told me that if i wasn’t happy to get out of the car and find a new driver and i was like nah it’s ok let’s just go and she’s like no i already cancelled the right get out. she was the biggest churail oh my god and then lyft charged me 5.00 for that, but you know that i sure as hell sent a complaint about her ass!!!

i'm not sure if being too cold and harsh is a part of my personality or a reflex of trauma. when i was a kid my father would laugh when i cried and didnt show any sort of affection. he was very abusive towards my mom - he'd abuse her physically, emotionally and financially- so she never did anything to fix that. so i had a distant and "empty" childhood. i'm 19 now and never dated anyone cuz i constantly feel like being alone is the right choice. but sometimes I doubt if thats really me or not

big shame on your dad, nobody deserves to go through that. that’s actually a symptom of being emotionally abused (especially as a child), so don’t feel alien about it. my inbox is always open if you want to talk about it. best wishes!

  • “I wasn’t prepared to trust them unless they could cite me a law or provide me with a legal document that saying they were authorized to have to check what is underneath of my hijab,” Adzkia wrote.
  • “It is a matter of human dignity and rights. For what reason were they asked me to take off my hijab?”

Stay  ~Jeff Atkins x Reader~

There’s something beautiful about the summer- they way it creates a new version of reality where music sounds better and happiness feels sweeter. Parties can give the same kind of feeling where nothing feels real, but all of it feels great. Well, until the next morning.

This makes an end of the summer party the pinnacle of a new reality. Inhibitions run low and everything else is on overdrive. In a week they will all be students again, studying to ensure the best future possible. But for tonight they are 60% alcohol and 40% bad decisions.

“Y/N!” Jess squeals with excitement, running towards the girl who just entered the room. She had been away visiting family abroad for the majority of the summer, and while the beaches had given a whole new meaning to the word ‘paradise’, this was where she was truly happiest.

“Jess!” she returns the enthusiasm, hugging her best friend tightly. The warm breezes that blew in through her window every morning this past summer brought her comfort, but this was home.

“I want in,” Justin grins, approaching the two and enveloping them between his arms.

“God I’ve missed you guys,” she sighs contentedly.

“You have so much third wheeling to catch up on,” Jess teases light heartedly.

Her face twists up unpleasantly at the thought. She loves both Jess and Justin dearly, but she does not love the thought of third wheeling. “With all due respect, I think I’ll pass.”

“Is that Y/N Y/L/N?!” a fourth voice enters the picture, causing the trio to part and turn towards the person walking towards them.

Jeff Atkins. Baseball star and literal ray of sunshine with the face of an angel and the body of a Greek God.

“Hey, Jeff,” she laughs, walking away from Jess and Justin to meet him halfway.

“I haven’t seen you in forever,” Jeff grins warmly, brushing her arm with his hand. It’s a sweet gesture. He’s always been so sweet.

“It’s only been like two months,” she mirrors his grin. It’s impossible not to smile back at someone who radiates warmth the way he does.

“Feels like forever though. Especially since I was used to seeing you everyday at school. You look nice by the way,” he bumps her shoulder.

“I missed you, too,” she chuckles, “I look like I always do.”

She bites her lips together before looking down shyly and letting them fall apart into a smile. Jeff Atkins was so genuinely good in a way that was uniquely him.

“Jeff!” Troy yells from the outside patio, “Beer pong, now, c’mon man!”

“Coming!” Jeff yells back to Troy, but turns back to her before walking away. “Come watch us play? You can practice cheering me on for baseball season,” his mouth twists into a smirk.

“Who says I’m gonna come to your baseball games?” She challenges playfully, using quick wit to redeem herself from the shy smile.

“Don’t break my heart, Y/N,” he pouts childishly, walking backward to join the boys for a game of beer pong but not breaking eye contact with her. He finally turns away from her to exit the house and join those outside, but not before mouthing a “pleaasssseeee” and sticking out his bottom lip.

“I’ll be there in a second!” she yells so he can hear her over the music.

His pout transforms into a grin before he disappears through the threshold, indicating that he heard her.

“So how about a double date instead of third wheeling?” Justin and Jess approach her with Justin wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

“Oh shut up,” her face heats up at the thought, “He’s a nice guy. He’s friendly with everyone.”

“Yeah, but he doesn’t flirt with everyone,” Jess interjects, crossing her arms over her chest vindictively.

“He didn’t ask me to cheer for him,” Justin fakes offense, “Honestly I’m a little hurt.”

“Fuck off, Justin,” she laughs loudly, putting her hands over her face.

“You better get out there,” Justin presses, gesturing to the sliding door, “After all, it’s mine and Jess’s two month anniversary so an intense make-out session could happen at anytime.”

“Bye!” she turns on her heels quickly, running away from her friends before they could make things awkward, or more awkward.

Five cups of jungle juice and two games of beer pong later she’s sitting on a folding lawn chair watching Jeff singlehandedly win a third game of beer pong since Troy had wandered off and was bothering Hannah and Clay.

After sinking another shot, Jeff notices where Troy had gone. A brief look of panic flashes across his face before he mutters a quick, “be right back!”, making a beeline for Troy. Jeff was just about as invested in Clay and Hannah as Clay was in Hannah. She wondered just how much better off the world would be if everyone had the same heart as Jeff.

“Did you save the day?” she asks upon Jeff’s return. She’s quite drunk and seeing two of everything, including two Jeffs. How wonderful would that be? A world with two Jeff Atkins. Incredible.

“I don’t know about that,” he chuckles modestly, “It’s up to Clay.”

“Meanwhile that beer run is up to you, buddy” Troy points out, his words slurring together.

“Later man,” Jeff replies, picking up a ping pong ball.

“Because you definitely need more alcohol,” she rolls her eyes at Troy, a sick feeling blossoming in her stomach.

“Don’t be a buzzkill, Y/N,” Troy retorts.

“Hey, relax,” Jeff snaps at Troy, “you’ll get your beer.”

The sick feeling in her stomach intensifies tenfold. She doesn’t want him to go, but she can’t beg him to stay. He’s not drunk, he would never jeopardize his life or anyone else’s so recklessly. But something about it still doesn’t feel right. He shouldn’t go.

She stands up, wobbling slightly. She grabs the back of her lawn chair to steady herself before heading back for the house. The twisting in her stomach is ominous in a way that refuses to be ignored.

“Where’re you going?” Jeff asks, his eyebrows knitting together.

“I need another drink,” she mumbles, brushing past him.

Three shots and a game of suck and blow later she’s feeling light and airy. All the anxiety from earlier has been replaced with a tingling feeling that reaches her feet. She’s quite hammered, and all the slip ups in suck and blow have her laughing and her sides aching. She’s starting to get lightheaded.

“I’m gonna go get some air,” she gasps in-between fits of laughter.

“Can you even walk?” Jess giggles.

“I’ll crawl if I have to,” she shrugs, stumbling her way out the door.

There’s nothing like the refreshing sensation of cool air hitting your skin after being cooped up in a house full of drunks, especially when you’re drunk yourself. The feeling of a breeze on her face is intoxicating in its own right, so she continues to walk around the outside of the house until she reaches the front.

There’s someone else at the front of the house, too. She can only see their back as they walk towards the row of cars, but she knows who it is. Suddenly she remembers why she felt the need to down three shots of vodka.

“Atkins,” she calls out, stumbling a bit as she walks forward.

He turns around at the sound of his name, smiling when he sees who it is. “Hey, you. Looks like you got that drink you wanted,” he laughs lightheartedly at her shaky balance.

“You making that beer run?” she asks, wringing her hands together nervously.

“Yeah. I’m not even a little buzzed, don’t worry,” he says soothingly.

“Stay,” she says softly.

“Huh?” he tilts his head to the side.

She continues to walk forward until she’s standing right in front of him, her weight falling to the side enough to make her falter. He reaches out to steady her, keeping a firm grasp on her side. She places her hands on his chest to steady herself before locking her eyes on his.

“Stay,” she repeats.

“Y/N, it’s okay I’m completely fine I promise. I only had two beers like two hours ago,” he assures, his voice gentle.

“I know, but it’s not like anybody needs anymore alcohol. I’m one of the more sober ones right now and that says a lot. Honestly I don’t even know how I made it out here on my own,” she sighs, “Just stay, please. ”

He looks at her softly, his eyes studying the worry etched onto her face. She feels so delicate in his grasp, like a porcelain doll that could shatter with too much pressure. He has always been enamored with her.

“Okay,” he moves his hands to hold her face, “I’ll stay.”

She lets out a heavy breath, letting her forehead rest against his chest and wrapping her arms around him. Maybe she was worrying over nothing, maybe she wasn’t, but she’s unexplainably relieved at those words.

“You gotta promise to watch me play baseball though,” he teases.

“I’ll be there every game with a sign that has your name on it,” she laughs, tilting her chin up to look at him.

“You gotta stop looking at me like that,” he shakes his head,“I might just fall in love with you.”

“Don’t get my hopes up.”

“Don’t leave for two months at a time,” he counters, grinning boyishly.

“I’d stay right here forever if I could,” she tightens her arms around him.

“I’d kiss you if you weren’t like 10 drinks deep right now,” he laughs, rubbing her back gingerly.

“Let’s go inside. I need to get sober. Right now. Immediately,” she pulls away, grabbing his hand to tow him behind her. Their laughter echoes down the empty street as they run around to the back of the house.

There’s something beautiful about the end of summer- the way things begin to feel more permanent. A simple request can change so much. All he had to do was stay. And he did.

Langst! More Langst!

Keith lunged toward Lance once more, pinning him for the third time in two minutes. Their sparring matches usually ended in Keith’s victory, but never this quickly.

“Come on, Lance; you’re not even trying,” he prodded. Lance’s grimace (the one he’d been sporting all day, Keith had noticed) turned into an outright scowl at Keith’s jab.

“Sorry,” he said flippantly, “I’m distracted. And tired. Can I be done with this for the day?” Shiro looked surprised when Lance turned toward him, but before he could answer, Keith was interrupting.

“Seriously? You’re just ‘done with this for the day?’”

Lance bristled. “I wasn’t asking you.”

“You know why we train, right?” Keith pressed.

“Keith, knock it off,” Shiro grumbled, but Keith didn’t stop his assault.

“It’s because what we do is important. So whatever you’ve got that’s distracting you, whatever girl turned you down at the space mall or whatever conditioner you ran out of, you need to forget about it so you can focus on your actual responsibility to the universe for once.”

“Well, I’m sorry; not all of us just have this one big responsibility to the fucking universe,” Lance snapped in a terrifying quiet tone. “Can I not be cut a little bit of slack on the one day that I can’t stop thinking about the responsibility I was pulled away from?”

Keith looked shocked, his mouth falling open for a moment. Lance sighed and rubbed his face tiredly.

“What are you talking about?”

“Look, I’m sorry. I just–I’m stressed out. Can I just go back to my room?” Lance asked.

“No,” Shiro replied, “Tell us what you meant. What other responsibilities are you talking about?” Lance often felt homesick, Shiro knew, but he had always thought it was missing the comforts of home–not some kind of fear of what he had left behind.

Lance hesitated. “I mean, my mom is back on Earth, raising six children alone, and the next oldest one is my little sister, and she’s only 14.”

Shiro softened. “I’m sorry,” he replied, “I had no idea. But you know they’re fine, right? You mom was on her own with them while you were at Garrison, wasn’t she?”

“Well yeah,” Lance admitted, “but that’s the problem. That school is expensive, and it took almost all of our savings money. I was supposed to start working over the summer as a cargo pilot and eventually get a full time piloting job to cover the expenses, but now I’m here, and they’re on Earth with all my debt and loans on one income. My sister is supposed to start looking at schools this year, but without my loans paid off, she’s not going to have any options. She’s just going to have to get a job, and that’s–I just can’t–today is–” he trailed off, but Pidge knew what he was trying to say.

“The deadline for Garrison applications,” she finished. Lance nodded, not taking his eyes off the floor.

“Mi hermanita would have made a really great pilot,” he near-whispered, smiling sadly, “way better than me. And she’s not going to get to be one. Because I’m here defending the universe. So, yeah,” he looked back up at Keith with tears shimmering in his eyes, “I know this is my one big duty. And I know it comes with sacrifices, and I’ve made them all willingly. But I just–my sister shouldn’t have to, right? She doesn’t get to go to flight school because of her brother, who she probably thinks is dead anyway? I’m trying, but I just–today I need a little slack.” He set his bayard down on the ground and turned away. “I’m done with this for the day,” he said as he went back to his room. No one stopped him this time.

Just date - Jeff Atkins x reader

Request:  Hi :) Can you do a Jeff imagine where the reader is Bestfriends with Clay and Jeff notices that and is jealous at first but then asks clay for advice on how to ask her out and he’s super nervous and scared. Can you make it really fluffy :) :)

He was not jealous. Really. He wasn’t thinking about break Clay’s neck. He was just a little… Fine, he was jealous. He just couldn’t help it.

He and Clay were at the library, stuying for his history class, it was going well until she showed up with her funny glasses and her stupid perfect smile. She just smiled at him and then started to talk with Clay about some kind of nerd movie. She was so excited, her eyes had that cute sparkle and her voice was so sweet. And then she put his hand in Clay’s shoulders.

Fuck, that feeling in his stomach wasn’t going away. And he was sure he was looking so stupid right now. She talked a little more and then left saying a gentle “Goodbye” to him.

“Jeff?” Clay asked “Are you okey?” Yep. He was still looking at the door.

“Are you two dating?” The words left his mouth before he had the time to think about it. Clay started to laugh. He asked again “Did I said something funny?”

“Yeah. Me and Y/N… that’s funny. She’s my best friend, since we were kids. I thought you knew” Well, that’s good. So good. The relief should have showed up in his face because Clay looked at him with a smile.

“You like her?” Clay asked. He ignored the question and pretended to look at his book. “C’mon, Jeff. Do you like Y/N?”

“Maybe” Clay raised his eyebrows “Fine. Yes, I like Y/N. Since I was ten, actually. But she’s out of my league” Clay started to laugh really loud “What?”

“Jeff, are you crazy? Oh my god. Y/N talks about you like you are some kind of god. She has the biggest crush on you” His heart started to beat faster. Oh god. Y/N Y/L/N had a crush on him.

“Jensen” he said “If you’re playing with me I swear…”

“Yeah, yeah. You are gonna kick my ass” Clay responded “You have to ask her out, so I can stop listen about your pretty eyes”

“She says I have pretty eyes?” He couldn’t help but smile.

“The prettiest in the whole damn world” Clay said, rolling his eyes. “Now let’s go back to work”

He was walking in the hallway when he noticed her, talking with Hannah Baker. Y/N was laughing with her. Damn, she looked perfect.

Fine, Clay said she was good in Chemistry he just had to ask her for help and then they will start to talk and eventually the will end up dating. Yup. That was the plan. Easy.

Hell, no. That wasn’t easy, he started to walk to them, with his heart going crazy. He was there, standing right next to them, without talking. He just froze.

“Hey, Jeff” Hannah was the first one who noticed. Y/N turned around, confused. She smiled at him.

“Hey, girls” he started. “Hannah, can I burrow your friend for a minute?” Hannah looked at him and then at Y/N.

“Sure” she smiled, walking away.

“How can I help you, Jeff?” Y/N asked, confused. Well, Jeff. It’s your time, he thought.

“Clay said you are good in chemistry and I was wondering if you, mhm, if you can, you know, help me?” Damn, his hands were shacking.

“Sure” she said gently. “No problem, when do you want to start?” He was screaming inside but trying to keep it cool.

“Are you free today?” she nodded. “Well, today after school? At Monet’s? I’m tired of the library”

“Yeah, me too. Monet’s then” the bell rang “I have to go, Jeff, but I’ll see you there” she smiled, starting to walk.

“Yeah, fine. It’s a date!” he was not suppose to said that “I mean, a study-date” she laughed in the middle of the hallway.

“Just date is fine for me” and then she entered to her class.

They had a “just date”.

Let me know if you liked it! English its not my first language so i hope its good

AN: LOOK WHO FINALLY WAS ABLE TO POST SOMETHING!!! Confession, I have some Jesse McCartney on my playlist–this is one of his songs. I am unashamed to admit that I love this song! I first heard it when I watched Kim Possible So The Drama and have been hooked ever since!

‘Why Don’t You Kiss Her’ : Jesse McCartney (the lyrics will be typed in the fic, but if you wanna listen to it!)

“Bucky!!” (Y/N) squealed followed by loud giggles that echoed throughout the compound. Bucky’s fingers were wiggling as he stalked her around the couch with a mischievous grin on his face. The two of them were playing cat and mouse around the room, as Bucky’s hat was clenched in her hands and being held to her chest. (Y/N)’s giggles were being fought back behind her captured lip as she watched every movement Bucky was making. Deep down she knew he could easily capture her, but Bucky never did. He enjoyed dragging this sort of thing out.

“Come on, doll, gimme my hat back. Then aaaaallllll this will be over.” His Brooklyn accent seeping through his charming smirk as he slowly began circling her again.

She giggled and shook her head, “How about a trade? Give me phone back and then I will give you, your hat back.” Her feet moving slowly in circles making sure her back is never towards Bucky.

“Well, that is what you get for sneaking Snapchat pictures of me with those animated features covering my face!” He chuckled at her, mentally planning his attack, “You turned me into a cat!” Tilting his head at her with a smile, “Then made my head into a cookie! That ain’t cool, darlin.” His smile growing as (Y/N) began laughing again, “Annnnddd let us not forget you did that FaceSwap thing–you put Sam’s face on mine!” Pointing his metal finger at her.

Headcanon: After they get together, before Lena finds out that Kara is Supergirl. She takes her on all of these vacations, eager to show the world to the woman who has given it to her. She takes Kara to the Colosseum, they kiss at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (Kara eats more pastries in France than Lena thought possible) they walk hand-in-hand along the Great Wall of China. Lena also takes Kara to her favorite vineyard, and a private beach she discovered during a break from her mother.

Lena’s favorite place in the world is the cottage near Mangerton Mountain in Ireland that she purchased in cash and has never told anyone about.

It takes only one night of Lena settled between her legs in front of the fireplace, the only sounds in the world their breathing and the crackle from the fire, for Kara to decide that this might be her favorite place too. She thinks maybe her favorite place is wherever Lena is.

After Lena discovers that Kara is, in fact, Supergirl. (A misstep by Winn that Alex quickly follows with a smack to his head and various threats) Her eyes widen as the realization hits. Kara has already seen the world, probably even more so than Lena herself. When she asks Kara about it, she pulls her close and says, “Yeah, Lena, I’ve flown everywhere. But I had never really seen anywhere until I was looking through your eyes. I want to explore the rest of the world with you, see everything with you.” Kara pauses, “Can I take you to my favorite place?” The smile Lena gives her, soft and sincere, is all the answer Kara needs.

The tears Kara sees in her eyes when they land in Ireland tell her that she was right. Her favorite place is with Lena.

Butterfly wings

When Lance was a kid his mom would say his skin looked like the wings of a butterfly.
Something that was beautiful in how the colours stood out over the base.
She would tell him that he was her little butterfly painted by the angels.
She would tell him this everyday he came home crying because of the teasing from the other kids and the pitying looks from the adults.
When Lance turned ten he stole his sisters makeup and used it to cover the pale areas that were visible on his face, neck and arms. Just to see what it would be like he went to town and for the first time ever blended in. He felt absence of confidence coming from the makeup. But he didn’t want to upset his mom. However getting makeup off is much harder then putting it on.
That’s why hours later his Mom found Lance in the bathroom desperately scrubbing at his skin as she called him for dinner.
He broke down and began to cry begging her not to angry for trying to cover up.
His mom just smiled and kissed his temple telling him that if he wanted to cover up he could or if he wanted his skin on show that was fine too, that he was perfect ether way.
So Lance started wearing makeup and gained a new kind of confidence that he never had before. He was louder and happier even flirting.
When he went away to the Garrison he took enough makeup with him to last until Christmas telling himself as long as he had makeup then everything would be ok.
But the night they found Shiro, Lance didn’t have his makeup with him.
He went to space without it.
With every day that passed the small container he always carried for touch ups became emptier and emptier. He knew it wouldn’t last forever but tonight of all nights to run out.

Lance stared in the mirror at the pale splattering that stretched over his eyes as he desperately rubbed at his skin praying to be able to cover up.
But it was no good.
He was out of makeup.
He wondered if Allura had any and if she would mind him borrowing some. But if he asked then she would see.
What if she laughed?
What if she told the others and they treated him differently?
He couldn’t take the teasing again he just couldn’t.
He put his hands on the sink trying to will himself to calm down. If he could just get to Allura’s room then he could steal her makeup and look normal.
Wrapping his blanket round his head allowing it to trail along the floor behind him Lance tip toes through the hall way.
At this time in the morning most of the other paladins were usually in the kitchen having breakfast or for Keith getting in some training before grabbing a quick bite to eat. This didn’t do much for Lance’s anxieties through. Just the thought of being outside his room without makeup on caused his chest to tighten with panic.
This was so much worse.
He felt like every cell in his body was on edge, vibrating with fear of being caught.
When he reached Allura’s room he had to wipe the sweat off his hands before getting the door open.
Allura’s room was huge.
Much bigger then all the paladins rooms combined and filled with various alien nick nacks and photos from Altea.
Lance felt bad about being in her room without permission, but he told himself it would be worth it in the end.
However after almost an hour Lance had found nothing.
No concealer.
No powder.
He felt his chest tighten as the tears began to fall.
What was he going to do?
The team already thought he was nothing but a pretty face, he’ll be even less then nothing if they realise he’s not even that.
As his breaths came less frequently and quicker Lance slowly slipped down to the floor holding his throat with his hands.
He didn’t hear the door slide open.
He didn’t hear the gasp or the sound of footsteps running over to him.
But he did hear his name.
“Lance?” Allura asked panic clear in her voice. She put a steadying hand on his shoulder trying to get him to look up at her. “Lance tell me what is wrong! Are you hurt? What happened?” She asked sounding like a worried mother.
Lance’s only response was a slow shake of the head.
Allura recognising the panic attack hugged him in her strong arms humming a calming tune.
After a while the tears stopped and Lance found himself able to breath normally again. He stayed in Allura’s arms letting her rock him gently back and forth closing his eyes and listening to the calming sound.
“Pretty song” Lance whispered.
“My farther would sing it to me when I was young.” Allura answered a note of pain to her voice. “Ready to tell me what’s wrong?”
Lance shook his head earning him a sigh from the princess.
“Well…is there anything I can do to help?
Lance was quiet for a moment “do you have any makeup I could borrow?” He asked nervously playing with the hem of the blanket.
“Of course. But I do not understand, you often boast about how perfect your skin is.”
A bitter laugh escaped Lance’s throat. “My skins ugly.”
Allura was so surprised by this answer she pulled back just to try and see if the blue paladin was joking. He had to be joking…right?
“Lance why would you think that?” She asked gently.
Lance slowly, very slowly looked up. The blanket falling off his head and showing his face to the older woman.
Allura couldn’t stop the gasp that escaped her lips as she stared at Lance.
His face began to crumble “I knew it! I knew this would happen!” He sobbed curling in on himself.
“No no lance I didn’t mean anything bad!” Allura rambled quickly. “It’s just I did not realise humans also had marks of beauty like Altean’s.”
Lance sniffed looking up at her “marks of beauty?” He asked.
“Yes” she tapped the pink marking on her cheek “on Altea it was a sign of beauty to have markings such as yours on your face. They called them marks of the Drioborn bug… I believe you have something similar on Earth. Butterfly I think they are called.”
Lance smiled for a moment “yeah butterfly is right.”
After his little heart to heart wi h Allura, Lance though still self conscious didn’t outright hate his skin anymore. He borrowed her makeup as to feel more confident but eventually he opened up to the team allowing himself to love who he is as much as his team does.
