Okay so…. while I just spent an hour ranting about Joseph and his arc… I do think it’s part of the game like…. the ending isn’t really a happy one but that’s the case for relationships. There isn’t always a perfect ending.
And you had an affair with a married man who you knew was going through troubles with his wife. You chose to do that, so don’t act shocked when things don’t work out the way you want it.
What I’m saying is… Dream Daddy does an excellent job of portraying real queer men with strengths and flaws, and the relationships you form with them (and that they have with each other) are all equally… real.
Just as in life, the relationships in the game need time, work, and even then don’t always work out, and I think that’s an important message that the game does a good job of sending.
