CLC Sorn explaining how she pitched ideas for their Hobgoblin comeback using a PowerPoint presentation.

*When other groups are given the privilege to give input and direction for a comeback, they typically use vision boards or PPT presentations as well. It takes a whole lot of convincing from the company to allow the artists to use their ideas, so I thought you might like to see what is shown. (male idols spend a lot of time asking for certain haircuts lmao)

During the presentation she explained in detail the type of vibe they wanted to go for in order to successfully pull-off a dramatic concept change from cute to girl crush and enlisted Hyunas help to make it all happen. She explained how hard it is to get approval from a company for this type of freedom (especially as a rookie) and mentioned how her presentation only had a few slides, while Hyunas comeback presentation had over 100 slides. “I saw that and I was like, ‘Oh my god! Damn! We have to work hard. We have to worker harder.”

people shit on you because you're like 31 living in your moms basement beating your meat to a 15 year old eating cheetos kk

first of all, my mom has no basement, so, schooled you there

second of all, i am nowhere near 31

third, i haven’t had cheetos in a long time, but now i’m kinda craving the flaming hot cheetos. reblog this with the best variety, friends?

fourth, i love anons like this because you can tell how hard you’re trying to hurl every insult you know that could even remotely somewhat apply to a dance moms blog. i can only imagine how much pent up frustration you harbor, and giggle at the idea of you feeling so angry and butthurt.

and lastly, who is shitting on me? and when did i complain of said shitting in order to warrant an anon such as this? if people are shitting on me specifically, it’s news to me. idk why you do hate me as much as you do, maybe you’re a maddie stan who got upset because i don’t like her all that much, maybe you’re an abby lee miller stan, or maybe you’re bored. regardless, not my problem. goodnight

One Piece ワンピース : The Ōka Shichibukai

“The reason the Grand Line is called the ‘Pirates’ Graveyard’, is because of the Three Great Powers that rule over it. One of them, is the Ōka Shichibukai. They’re seven Pirate Warlords that are officially authorized by the World Government. The Shichibukai inhabit wild regions of the seas and as long as they give a cut of their loot obtained from marauding & pillaging, the World Government sanctions their actions. Other pirates may look down on them and call them ‘Government Dogs’, but they’re among the strongest the Grand Line has to offer!!”

Thus ends my journey with the Shichibukai. It was fun & arduous while it lasted and I had a hell of a great time re-reading some of the most epic and sad moments in One Piece. I’ve compiled all the gifs into a short video in the order of the manga’s storyline, so enjoy this final treat me buckos! Oda has given us so many fantastic characters & memories it’s hard to wait a week for each chapter but it is always worth the wait. I can’t wait to see what else the sensei has in store for us!!

How I turned pro with Tarot Readings (but I still have a lot to learn!) 👌

Divination is a complex art, even though sometimes it doesn’t look like it. As you all know, I do tarot readings and I noticed how this particular method of clairvoyance gets the same reaction as a piece of contemporary art: people look at me and say I could have done it myself, or something along the lines, to which it’s hard not to reply with a Fuck off, why don’t you do it then?

I must admit that when I first got into tarot reading, doubting my abilities was somehow legit, since I kept using just a single tarot spread to answer whatever question I got and the answers didn’t always stick to what I needed to know. Luckily, in the last few years I’ve improved my technique. But how did I reach my level of expertise?

I changed my perspective on tarots. This was really the first step. At the beginning of my practice the idea I had on tarot reading was completely different. The questions I usually asked all regarded my future, so I made readings whenever I had no idea about how things would turn. Don’t get me wrong, that is still divination, there is nothing wrong in it. But at the point tarot readings to me were just a game I’d like to play when I was bored and all alone or during sleepovers with my friends. Let’s see if he is gonna kiss me this weekend, and I was all ready to throw a tarot spread. It took a lot of years to understand that in tarots there is more than that. When you ask something to tarot cards what you are actually doing is asking for a consult, as if you were in a therapist’s office or talking with a helpline. Tarots gives advice. Which means you have to talk to them heart-to-heart and listen to their words accordingly.

I made tarot readings personal. Whenever a friend asked me for a consult, I wanted to give them the most accurate response there could possibly be. And in order to do that, I couldn’t just use that one and only tarot spread I knew, but I had to choose a spread that was specific to the case. So I decided it was time to start creating them all by myself and it turned out it wasn’t as hard as it seemed to be as long as you keep in mind these simple rules:

🔮 You need to understand where the Consultant mentally is, what they are facing in that moment, where does the question actually come from. Even when people say they just want to investigate their future, their desire probably comes out of something that buggers them.
🔮 You have to turn the Consultant’s request into a series of simple questions, that can help you get the hang of the situation. If the Consultant can’t find a job, I don’t ask the tarots the when’s and the if’s. Instead, I ask why they are blocked in the situation and what they can do to overcome the problem.
🔮 You should choose a layout that helps you get into the right mindset. Avoiding banalities (a heart-shaped layout for a spread about love can be a little too cliche), you can choose a shape that reminds you of the things you are inquiring on, like a Cupid’s bow if you’re asking about new love interests.

I turned off my rationality. As I said before divination really is an art form and, as most of the art forms, it’s easier to understand it if you don’t look at it through the eye of intellect. It might seems illogical, but that is the best way to let the meaning of the cards gets to you. No prejudice, no preconceptions. Sometimes the response could be hard to accept and that’s why I avoid to do readings about controversial or sensible matters.

Did I really become a pro in tarot readings? There aren’t any tips or tricks to be brilliant at it. It takes time and exercise, and even after decades of practice you’ll find you still have a lot to learn. Some people have a natural inclination, other requires more effort instead. But if you’re receptive enough, tarots will disclose their secrets to you without a hitch.

*Inhale* OKAY, it took me like… an eternity to get that picture done but AH ! I did it ! It’s completed and I’m so proud about how it turned out ! So uhm… you guys requested for a UnderDecay print a while ago. I couldn’t exactly stream it because my internet is really slow lately and I’m kinda sick. BUT I managed to work on it little by little, one character at time and I can say that I actually ENJOYED to draw this… like… there’s so little details and the dynamic and composition were absolutely… gosh I cant even describe it.

I had FUN, especially since UD is my baby and I’ve been working hard on this AU for almost a year now. ANYWAY, I really hope that you enjoy it !

Okay… SO… I’m still without any form of income, so if you guys are interested to get that print shipped at your place you can order one over HERE. Any reblog would actually help me a lot… and gosh… thank you so much for every nice comment and the support that you guys give me. I deeply appreciate it.

Hey Netflix, an Idea 💡

@netflix

I’m happy for the Sense 8 fans and I think it’s really cool of you to even consider giving it a real finale after cancelling it.

But, if you’re doing it for Sense 8, how about you give The Get Down the two hour finale special it also deserves?

This is another show with a passionate fanbase that worked really hard all this time to show love for The Get Down and to convince you that it had value and that we wanted more of it.

The characters’ fates are all up in the air, they deserve to have their stories concluded. The characters and all us fans deserve some closure.

Plus all you’d really be doing is giving back the two episodes you cut down from their original episode order. I think that’s reasonable when you look at it like that.

Levi Ackerman: The Abuse Claim

Alright, so here I am with another long ass meta post. Only this time, this one is directed solely at the legend, Levi Ackerman himself. Yet again, I am seeing the “Levi is Abusive” mumbo jumbo and I have spent my two years in this fandom quiet about my opinions on this for the most part because I do not enjoy drama. However, after this last batch of Discourse™ that I have seen, I have been pushed beyond my ability to bite my tongue.

This is Part One to a two part meta, and this is me basically trying to shine light on Levi’s actions a bit and why he behaves the way he does. In no way do I try to justify all of the shit he carries out so don’t think this is just a fangirl squeal post. I’m simply trying to better explain his character for the people who seem to think he is some kind of rage beast who beats kids for fun in his spare time.

I will be putting this under a Read More because it is extremely long and also contains spoilers. I’d also like to state that this would be best read from a computer or the mobile website as it contains a metric fuckton of manga panels used for reference (seriously use any other means outside of the mobile app to read this because the app will butcher this post and cut out a majority of the images). If you are sitting down to read this, please make sure you are comfy, cozy, and drinking a nice warm beverage. Now then,

DISCLAIMER: This is my personal opinion. In no way am I stating what I say here is completely accurate. if you disagree with my opinion, good for you! That’s your prerogative. However, If you are going to send me messages trying to argue points of view with me or send me hate messages because my opinion differs from your own; do us both a favor and just don’t even bother. WARNING: Major spoilers ahead.

First and foremost, this is the scene I see brought up the absolute most so I’d like to go ahead and address it first:

Walking into Midtown High, you cautiously grudge towards your locker in order to get your books for today’s classes.

These past few days have been strange, to say the least.

Despite it being almost the end of the school year and the hot weather finally arriving, you somehow felt cold to your bones.

Instead of wearing short sleeves and shorts, you started dressing in sweatshirts and pants.

Maybe I’m getting sick…?

Maybe it’s just the chills…?

You kept making excuses like that, but the coldness never seemed to go away.

It’s been happening for a couple weeks now, but you didn’t know what to do.

You didn’t know what this was.

Well, not until today.

DIY Betta Leaf Hammock

So we all know about this thingy, right? Well, I don’t like them.

First: they’re made of hard plastic and the edges can sometimes be sharp enough to hurt a betta or tear its delicate fins. Second: even though there is a version that doesn’t have a wire inside the leaf (and this version is far safer), I can’t seem to find that thing anywhere. I ordered them online, went to three different LPS, and all of them only had the wire version.

So I said, screw it. I’m gonna make my own betta leaf hammock and it’ll be ten times better than this mass-market version. And since my creation turned out fantastic, I’m gonna share my process with everyone so that you never have to buy that crappy plastic leaf ever again.

So here’s what you do: Gather up any unused silk plants you have, or buy one of those $4 silk plants at any pet store that have the adjustable leaves. They look like this.

In the background of this picture you can see one leaf clump that I pulled off the stem. In focus is one of those leafs cut off, including the base of the leaf which has the hole meant to go through the stem.

Stick that thing right into a suction cup. Easy as that. Mine fit snugly. I stole the suction cup I’m using off the awful leaf-hammock-with-a-wire I ordered online, but you can probably go to the dollar store and get a whole pack of this exact size.

That extra leaf I cut off in the beginning? Shoved it right into the suction cup with the other leaf. Now everything is nice and snug; those leaves won’t be budging any time soon.

Since I had it on hand, I also secured it with a bit of aquarium sealant, but it wasn’t necessary. The leaves were stuck in there pretty good without it, I’m just predicting it will be easier to clean down the line if I glue it.

And there you have it. Two gorgeous, well-sized, sturdy and safe betta leaf hammocks for your tank.

So, to review, here’s the materials list:

1. Small suction cup(s)
2. Clump(s) of leaves from a silk plant of your choice
3. Scissors
4. Aquarium sealant (optional)

prompt: 13reasonswhy16q7w asked: Your recent imagine was so good I was wondering if you could write one with clay were he slowly starts to fall in love with the reader but has a hard time with it because he feels like it’s wrong because of everything with Hannah but he gives in :)

warnings: swearing

a/n: hannah is alive in this imagine ! also i have about 3 more 13rw requests, im pretty excited i hope i can get them done. as always feedback is appreciated and requests are open

Clay had met you at the Crestmont Movie Theater. You had walked in alone and ordered a small popcorn with a drink. Clay had used Hannah’s trick and only put butter on the top of the popcorn. And soon enough, in the middle of the movie, you had came out and asked for more butter. You and Clay had started talking while Hannah was witnessing it. It turns out you were new to Crestmont, and had only moved there 2 weeks ago.

Once you said your goodbyes and gave Clay your number, Hannah had began to tease Clay. “You totally did the butter thing, which was a good idea. She’s really cute.” Hannah claimed, leaving Clay’s face a tomato red. So the next Monday, you started going to Liberty High and where you ran into none other than Clay Jensen. “Hey.” You greeted him with a bright smile on your face, leading to butterflies forming in Clay’s stomach. “Hey Y/N.” He greeted with an equally bright smile.

“So you come here now?” Clay asked, trying to make the situation less awkward. “Yes I do Jensen, and I was hoping you could give me a tour of the school.” You hinted, giving Clay a playful nudge. Clay let out a laugh before bringing his arm, motioning towards. “Shall we get started madam?” He asked to which you let out a laugh. As Clay gave you a tour of the school, he couldn’t help but notice your features. How you genuinely listened to him and smiled and laugh at his dumb jokes, especially his Star Wars ones. God he was developing feelings for you.

“Fuck.” Clay muttered but you heard him. “Something wrong?” You asked, Clay giving you a smile and reassuring you nothing was wrong. But something was wrong. Clay had always liked Hannah, and they were on good terms. Hannah may have even liked him back, but once you came into the picture he couldn’t help but feel his heart stop when he saw you smile. But Clay pushed away his feelings, brushing them off as a small crush and was nothing serious.

After a course of 2 months, Clay’s feelings for you had grown greatly, to the point where he couldn’t even speak without stuttering. “You’re more nervous than usual.” You pointed out, as you and Clay walked home. For once he didn’t have that god damn bike. “What d-do you m-mean? I-I’m cool.” He replied, leaving to laugh. The two of you continued to walk in silence, until you spoke up. “So how are you and Hannah? You guys are a great couple.” Clay stopped walking. “Oh, Hannah and I aren’t a couple.” Clay clarified and you laughed. “Really, I could’ve sworn you guys were.”

“We’re not though. Hannah and I are kinda drifting apart, I realized I liked another girl. Hannah doesn’t know though. It seems wrong.” Clay explained and you nodded your head. “Do I know the girl?” You ask, the two of you still walking. “Pretty well.” Clay answers, laughing softly. Clay started thinking, would Hannah really minded if he and Y/N started dating? The three of them are best friends, and Clay would always tell Hannah everything, so Clay took a chance.

“Y/N, can I tell you something?” Clay asked and you turned to face him. “Of cou-” But you were cut off by Clay pressing his lips to yours. The kiss was passionate and long, so when the two of you both pulled away, you were both trying to catch your breath. “What the hell, who would’ve thought Clay Jensen liked me.” You smirked. “Well you’re pretty amazing.” Clay then walked you home and then off he went to his house and texted Hannah some good news.

Confrontations

Lance could feel himself start to shake as Shiro had announced to them who he chose to lead Voltron in case he couldn’t.

It was Keith.

Lance took a breath and balled up his fist. He swallowed the lump in his throat and tried to blink away the stinging in his eyes as he stared at the floor.

Why should he even be surprised? It’s not as though he couldn’t see Shiro’s obvious bias towards Pidge and Keith. He knew that it wasn’t their fault or that they meant to be favored but it stung and he was getting increasingly frustrated at this.

Lance bit his lip before taking another deep breath and trying to calm himself down before catching Shiro’s shoulder when he told them to disperse.

“Shiro? Can I talk to you about something?” Lance asked

“Uh, yeah sure, about what?”

Another breath. “I wanted to talk to you about choosing Keith as the back-up leader.”

Shiro quirked a brow, Lance could tell he was going to have a hard time with this.

“Well you see Shiro…Keith…Keith isn’t a good choice for leader,” Lance had to fight to keep eye contact with Shiro, “you see he’s…impulsive and a hot-head. He’s a nice guy but he’s put us all in danger on numerous occasions beause he didn’t follow an order and he voted to leave Allura behind and-!” Lance could feel his confidence rise but Shiro raised a hand to silence him.

“Lance, I understand your concern but I’ve made my decision already.”

Shiro turned around and left Lance there with his anger festering and his pride hurt even more than before.

He ignored him.

Again.

Lance bit into his lip so hard it felt like it might draw blood. He felt the familiar sting at the back of his eyes and the heat on his neck. He blinked his vision in and out of focus as he felt his body shake with anger.

Lance was the only one left in the console room, so his voice echoed and bounced back to him with just as much disappointment and anger it had when the words left his lips.

You’re not the you I thought you were.”

The next time Lance brings it up is when he’s hardened his attitude towards Shiro’s behaviour. He knows it’s not exactly his fault but the way he brushes Lance off is unacceptable and this time, Lance is Not Having It.

“Shiro.” Lance walked up to Shiro, he rather have missed all of the break between training than have to keep in his feelings.

Shiro turned around and sighed, “Lance, look, I know-” but this time it was Lance who cut Shiro off.

“No Shiro, you look.” Lance took one big breath before starting, “I understand that you are the leader and that you were thrown into this by yourself, but you see, you are extremely biased towards Pidge and Keith and honestly, I just can’t let that stand anymore man.”

Lance paused to see Shiro blinking in stunned silence, he took this as his cue to continue.

“Shiro, I understand that you know Keith the best and probably know what he’s capable of. But your making him stressed because your expectations of him are too damn high and you have to accept that there are things that not even Keith can do- nothing wrong with that Keith, it’s ok that you can’t- but instead you just say “I believe in you” and you tell him to basically change everything about himself so he can act like a good-…no I mean, so he can act like you. Shiro, you can’t expect that to magically fix anything!

Lance took a deep breath and gathered his thoughts before proceeding onto his next topic, “Do you even talk to Hunk ever?”

“Well-” Shiro began

“Outside of giving orders? Do you ever ask, ‘Hey Hunk, how was your day? Did you do anything new?’ Because as far as I know, all you can say to him is ‘Hunk, shoulder canon.’, ‘Hunk, you go with whoever on this mission to retrieve whatever.’, sometimes you can’t even address him directly! It’s just ‘Legs, do this!’ You don’t actually talk to him Shiro.”

“I…”

“Also? Isn’t Allura the technical leader of Voltron? She actually knows Zarkon. She actually knows the aliens that we fight and that we talk to. Why are you acting as though you know this stuff? Even if Allura doesn’t know, most of the time Coran knows so he should also be consulted.”

“Yes, well I-”

“Not only that, but you didn’t consult anyone else when deciding Keith would be the Black Paladin. You didn’t check with Keith on how he felt about that, and even then he told you himself and you ignored it. What’s worse is that you didn’t even consult with your lion, the one Keith would be the pilot of. How do you know if she was okay with this? How do you know if this is what she wants?”

Shiro fell silent, it seems that this was the one that made him crack.

He felt a presence next to him and he fixed his stubborn gaze from Shiro to Keith.

Lance was getting ready to argue with Keith when the red paladin turned from Lance to Shiro and said, “Lance is right, Shiro.”

Lance blinked confusedly as Keith continued on, “You don’t listen to him at all. Remember the Blade of Marmora? You didn’t listen to Lance, and I nearly got myself killed. Granted, I wanted to go but… the point still stands.” Keith crossed his arms as he finished his argument.

Lance felt a warm hand on his shoulder as he looked to see Hunk sending him an appreciative look before agreeing with the fire and ice paladins.

One by one, everyone from the Team Voltron stood behind or near Lance and agreed with him.

“Shiro.”

Shiro looked up from the linoleum tiles, seemingly ready to get criticized once more.

“What do you say?”

Shiro closed his eyes as he took in a deep breath before opening them once more and looking around the small group of people. “…and all of you feel this way?”

There was a small murmur of agreement and short little nods.

Shiro sighed, “You’re right Lance. I wasn’t thinking about anyone else but my own beliefs and bias.”

He turned to the two alteans to his left.

“I’m sorry for not consulting you on matters I know you would have more knowledge on. I…I tried to think that just because I lead Voltron I know everything but…not really.”

Shiro continued on down the line of paladins.

“Lastly, Lance…I’m sorry. You were right and….I was ignoring you. Thank you for pointing this out to me and…I know it was probably hard but…I’m proud of you.”

About two weeks later Shiro went to the Black Lion and asked if she would be willing to pick a backup to pilot her in case something happened to Shiro.

She said yes so, all the paladins (+Allura and Coran) would stand in front of her and allow her large, wisdom filled eyes to scrutinize them.

When Lance stepped in front of her he felt as though every crevice in his mind and soul was being checked and scrutinized. Before long, the Black Lion’s eyes started to glow.

She did it. She found her back-up paladin.

Lance.

Hunk’s and Pidge’s cheers could be heard in the background as they whooped and hollered at Lance.

Lance felt waves of pride crash over him, before feelings of anxiety and guilt replace them.

But what about Blue?

Lance looked to the Alteans, knowing that the other paladins wouldn’t be able to fill out his spot without creating a new spot in Voltron needed to be filled. He played with the idea of Blue Paladin Allura, and while she could certainly fill out the spot with ease, he knows that she’s the pilot of the castleship, and if her was honest, that was a lot harder to replace than the pilots of Voltron.

Before announcing his decision he used his connection to the Blue Lion to ask her about if that was okay or not. She said it was fine so long as it wasn’t permanent and she could have Lance back. Lance smiled, Don’t worry my lady, you’re my one and only. He told her before turning to the alteans.

Coran.”

“Yes, Lance?”

Will you be the back up Blue Paladin?

Lefou’s gay.

Today Disney announced that Lefou will be an explicitly gay character, the first for Disney fairy tale films and films aimed at the all ages group from the company. A lot of people feel strongly about this on both sides, conservative extremists feel this is the utmost betrayal from Disney and think the film needs a new content rating. I think that is ridiculous for a number of reasons mostly that a gay man existing in a world where a girl falls in love with a beast is somehow the controversial topic. But on the other end of the discourse rainbow many feel that this is an insult to lgbt people and that Disney has insulted and made a grave mistake by having Lefou be canoically gay. I also think that’s a bit much. So here are some of my bullet points/thoughts on why I truly believe this is a good step for Disney and the LGBT community if you would so indulge me.

  • I understand many concerns revolving this piece of news, Lefou in this version is now a gay man who pines for his straight macho best friend/pack leader. Some are condemning that idea which I find a bit silly. I understand that a stereotype thrown upon our community is that we are unable to have straight friends because we will “always fall for them”. Which we all know is bullshit, that being said sometimes it also fucking happens but it’s no more different than the friendzone guy who is in love with his childhood best friend. Point is it’s an actual thing queer people do deal with so to prohibit as a storytelling device is just stupid and weird. A good lesson for lgbt people and anyone honestly is sometimes the people you will like, or even love will not reciprocate those feelings.
  • Not all lgbt people need to be portrayed as saintly or even good people to count as representation. For example one of my favorite things about the new Series of Unfortunate events show on netflix was that there was a gay couple in it. My favorite thing not being that they were gay, but that they were gay and just as bad as the rest of the adults in the show. Because I believe it’s important to show LGBT people as humans rather than amazing people with little flaws and great outcomes even though I understand the need for that. So Lefou can be in a bad relationship, he can be allowed to make poor decisions because he is blinded by love from someone who will never love him back, he is even allowed to be a bad person because him being gay shouldn’t excuse him from any of that. Because character flaws make for a interesting character shocking I know and can even be the payoff for character growth. Which leads me to my next point.
  • This is a character arch Bill condon has even said it. Meaning Lefou will go through some sort of change or lesson in this film. Just because he starts following this awful person in the beginning of the film does not mean that’s where he story will end. Because again this is not the animated feature, we don’t know the exact context of their relationship nor do we have an idea of what will happen to Lefou through the course of the film. But for a movie about acceptance of those who are different and learning to love I have a hard time believing it’s going to end poorly for the now gay Lefou. Just remember Bill has said where they end with Lefou is something rather beautiful, and I personally cannot wait to see what that is.
  • Any bit of screen time in which a gay person is a person and given an actual story arc is something that I view as important. This is a company that for many years had to code in order to get away with anything. We are living in a day and age where they can openly say that a character is gay. Which I think is something huge and something I want to encourage from the company, so that we can get more of these kind of ideas. I am not saying you have to be inherently okay or accepting of this, but I am asking that you give the film a chance and watch it before having your final thoughts be a reblog slamming this from all angles. Because while you may disagree maybe some kid out there is going to watch what happens with lefou and feel better about themselves leaving that theater.

this is just a reminder to take some pressure off of yourself. you don’t need to act a certain way or be around certain people if you don’t feel like they are helping you be your best. you don’t need to guilt yourself or hurt yourself in order to improve. things are hard. and sometimes other things make already difficult things even harder to accomplish. i know this is vague but i rlly just wanna make this universal. forgive yourself. for anything you’re feeling shitty about right now, i want you to hold your own hand for a second and realize that anything that you feel bad about doesn’t make YOU bad. take any rough experiences you’ve had and realize maybe you weren’t your best then. but you can grow from that if you allow that hard time to teach you something. YOU ARE SO CAPABLE. i have learned to let go of a lot of the anger and frustration i used to hold so tightly that it started to eat me up. but i am a different person now. and i was never bad to begin with. its just my truth then is different than it is now. LET YOURSELF GROW FROM DRY SOIL. WATER YOURSELF. we are all immensely flawed. that’s okay! we just all have to accept it and strive to be the best we can be because in the end thats really one of the few things that actually matters.

Montparnasse: came in to the shop twice a week in the summer while we had a limited time meal called the Mac Daddy and only ever ordered that. Never came in again after we got rid of it.

Combeferre: lives in the flat above the shop, comes in every week with a ceramic bowl and asks me to make his meal in it (instead of our paper boxes) to reduce waste

Jehan: reads, considers, and takes a picture of every single quote I write on the blackboard. Always asks for extra pickles.

Gavroche: had an actual laughing fit when I squeezed the cheese sauce bottle and it made farting noises

Courfeyrac: came in around 3 am on the weekend before Halloween dressed as David Bowie. Picked up a feather boa a customer had left behind, put it on and kept it

Éponine: started yelling at some idiot who was catcalling another customer. It got so heated they had to take it outside

Musichetta: nice regular who just comes in to write Instagram handles on the board, chats with us for a few minutes and leaves

Marius: apologized like five times even though I was the one who messed up the order. Tried to pay with Euros (in Canada)??

Bossuet: came in slightly drunk at 2 am on a snowy day so the shop floor was wet, fell down literally more than ten times even after I mopped

Grantaire: stared at the menu of poutines for 10 minutes, gave up and asked me “which one’s the most dank”

You heard the knock on your door but tried to ignore it. It was 2:03 a.m., and you had a show tomorrow. When the pounding got louder, you groaned. Grumbling, you blindly patted your nightstand looking for your glassed. Pushing them onto your face, you pulled yourself towards the door.

You had barely hiked up your sweats by the time you saw him.

Lin.

He was soaked to the bone, dripping on your front step. You had to rub your eyes to make sure you were seeing this right, the previous ten months flashing before you as he breathed out:

“Y/N.”

ten months before.

You had been studying there for no more than an hour when the door chimed. Usually, you were the only one here. The coffee shop was practically off the grid and on the verge of going bankrupt, so the signal of a customer surprised you. Nevertheless, you went back to studying for your chemistry exam.

But when you heard his laugh, your head shot up. He was on the phone. You tried to go back to your work again.

Each time though, it got harder and harder to solve the never ending equations in front of you. Sighing, you threw your pencil down.

The brunette two tables away turned. Sheepishly, you mumbled an apology. He had his computer out now, probably working on something. He smiled though, something you don’t see often enough in New York.

“Whatcha working on?” he added before you could ignore him.

You looked down at your work before responded, “Chemistry,” you sighed.

“Yikes,” he laughed, “I failed that as a sophomore.”

That made you grin, turning a little so you could see him more clearly.

“What about you?” you pushed. His smiled grew, making your chest swirl,

“This,” he said, patting his computer, “is my current pride and joy.”

Your eyebrows shot up, interested.

“I’m writing a musical.” he said. You instinctively leaned forward, wanting to hear more. “It’s about Alexander Hamilton.”

“First Secretary of Treasury.”

His eyes lit up, “Yeah!”

He moved his chair closer, “I’m Lin,” he said as he extended his hand.

“Y/N,” you smiled.

nine months before

He saw you again. Every day for a month. He would sit in his seat, maintaining his distance, not wanting to push you. He showed up every day at three and got nervous when you weren’t there. Once, after about three weeks of this, he this slip. You blushed at his concern. However, knowing that you weren’t going to be there today, you left a note for the barista.

He arrived at the cafe, immediately searching for you, ready to share his new ideas with you for the show. When he saw the empty cafe, he panicked.

“Chill, dude. She left you a note,” the barista said, pointing to your usual table. Sure enough, there was a white piece of paper labeled: Lin

He rushing to read it, he nearly tripped over the chair in front of him. The barista rolled her eyes at him.

Reaching the paper, his eyes scanned the words quickly.

Lin -

I have an interview today. I’ll see you tomorrow. Finish Helpless - I can’t get it out of my head and I won’t be satisfied until I hear the ending.

Always,

Y/N

ps: barista is grumpy today. play nice.

Lin smiled at the letter. He read it over and over, and practically had it memorized by the time he ordered his coffee. He was trying, really. He was trying really hard not to fall for you. But every time he saw you, he couldn’t tell if his heart stopped or if it just started beating really, really fast.

eight months before

Coffee has progressed. He had convinced you to go to a sandwich place downtown, and then a bookstore, and then his apartment. Nothing was labeled, and that seemed to make it both easier and harder.

Easier in the sense that you knew if you said something wrong, he wouldn’t flip. Harder in the sense that all you wanted was to feel his smirk against your lips.

Lin was banging working on a new song for the show as you read. Eventually, he got frustrated and slammed his hands on the keys, causing you to jump. He mumbled an apology, embarrassed.

You offered a small smile, getting up and walking towards him. You placed your hands on his shoulders and his instinctively reached for them. You felt your heart flutter.

“Play it for me,” you tried.

He huffed, “It sucks.”

You shrugged, “Play it anyways.” And so he did. You made him slide over so you could side beside him on the piano bench. He felt your head fall on his shoulder. Lin didn’t even realize when his hand left the keys and grasped your own.

You didn’t leave until midnight, and he had almost convinced you to stay over. But you declined, you had an interview tomorrow. Before you left, he kissed your cheek.

When you woke up the following morning, you still hadn’t stopped blushing.

seven months before

He felt different. Maybe it was the way your dress held to you, maybe it was the fact it was Valentines day. Maybe it was the fact that you hadn’t defined the relationship. Maybe it was the bottle of red wine you two split. Maybe it was you. But Lin was far too warm.

It was probably the alcohol.

It was most definitely you.

The day before, he had offered to take you out for dinner “as friends.” You obliged, happy to spend time with him. The two of you had become practically inseparable, almost everyone noticing.

Your roommate, Kate, had even forced you into some red dress that nearly two sizes too small. Still, the look Lin gave you when you walked towards him that night made the fact that you couldn’t breathe manageable.

“You look stunning,” he gushed.

That night, he kissed you.

You were standing on the doorstep to your apartment, positive Kate was waiting up for you. He hadn’t made a move, and you almost left. But then his eyes were on you, and then his hands were, and then his lips were.

Feverishly, you clutched onto his jacket, pulling him flush against you. You could feel his smile against your lips. You were flying.

As he walked home, - well, more like skipped home - he texted his buddy Anthony.

to: anthony

Is ten minutes too soon to call?

from: anthony

How much do you like her?

to: anthony

Way more than I probably should.

from: anthony

Then you should’ve called her five minutes ago.

Some called it sexual tension, some called it chemistry. You called it teasing, he called it a curse.

So, after making out with him nearly every night - because God, that boy was a fantastic kisser - you started to feel a little guilty; maybe he wanted more.

You remembered stressing about it the night before. You absolutely wanted to sleep with him. Just the thought of his hands on you had you dropped into a puddle.

Still, you weren’t sure if he’d like you after. What if all he wants is sex? What if I’m not that good? He’s going to leave me.

Stop it, you thought. Lin wasn’t like that…right?

Right.

When you rang his doorbell the following day, he was wearing a teeshirt and sweats. Still, seeing you all dressed up in the maroon dress Kate had picked out the night before, he panicked.

“Did I forget we had a date? You look beautiful - I can go change. God, you look beautiful -” he was rambling.

You laughed lightly and shook your head. Walking into his apartment, you swallowed your pride.

“We need to have sex.”

He gaped, stumbling over his words, “Uh -”

You held a hand up, “We need to have sex.”

He took a step towards you. Bashfully, he muttered something to his feet. Immediately, you turned, “What?”

“I’m not ready,” he said again, this time stronger.

You blanched, repeating yourself, “What?”

“I really, really like you. And I want to have sex with you, God - I want to have sex with you, but I don’t want to ruin it if we do. I want it to be special with you, because - because, you’re special.”

You paused before taking his hand, “I thought I was making you wait. I didn’t want you to leave me because we weren’t having sex.”

Lin’s smile calmed your nerves, “I’m not going anywhere.”

five months before

Being with him was like standing too close to the sun. Your whole body was constantly burning, but there was never a dull moment. Everything was always moving with him. He was kinetic energy.

But your favorite moments were the ones at piece. Where the furniture, people, lives around you were in constant motion, but you were there. With him. Calm.

He was the eye of the hurricane; everything was quiet, for just a moment.

Times like these were rare: when his hips rolled over yours; when he would ask to try on your glasses to make fun of how blind you were; when he would buy your favorite ice cream, knowing you wouldn’t pick it up yourself; when you had to wear a scarf to cover up last night’s kisses; when he held you.

They were small, but they made your chest feel light and your toes tingle. So when he came home that night, pizza in one hand, a bottle of champagne in the other, you couldn’t shake the thought of loving him. You couldn’t shake the thought that this man was changing your life and you were doing exactly what you told yourself not to do: falling in love with him.

Still, just a week he said it first. He didn’t mean to. He was hanging up the phone with you when it happened.

“I’ve got to stay late today,” he said. He was at a workshop for Hamilton, the play finally coming together.

“Okay,” you said, working around the kitchen. You had planned to cook, but now that he wouldn’t be home for a while, you grabbed a box of CheeseItz and sat on the couch.

Lin signed something Karen had brought over, holding the phone between his shoulder and his ear.

“I miss you.”

You heard him chuckle lightly, “I miss you more.”

“Get back to work,” you teased.

“Okay, okay. I’ll see you when I get home.”

“Yep.”

“Love you.”

“Bye.”

You had both hung up before you realized what happened. Calling back so quickly, he had barely hung up the phone.

“Babe?” he asked, concerned.

“I love you too.”

four months before

You two had a big fight. It was bad. Your words were sharp as angry tears streamed down your face.

It was the first time in weeks that you had slept at your own apartment, slamming his door on the way out.

Kate held you as you cried, forcing you to turn off your phone as the endless dings only made you cry harder.

You didn’t sleep that night, so when you walked into the coffee shop, desperately in need of caffeine, you nearly broke down again at the sight of him.

Clearly, he hadn’t slept either. His hair was sticking up and his eyes were tired. The bags under them seemed to grow each day after work, but today seemed especially bad.

He sat at the table, nursing a cup of coffee. Beside him was a bouquet of peonies next to him. You couldn’t mute the quick intake of air, snapping his eyes to yours. After a beat, he stood and took a step closer you.

Simultaneously, you blurted out, “I’m sorry.”

He held you that night. And it was all you needed.

three months before

Lin left the week before. He was doing an interview in California and wouldn’t be back until the following Friday.

You were bored, honestly. You were bored of a quiet house. But worse than being bored? You missed him.

God, you missed him like hell. You missed the sound of his voice. You missed his endless piano playing. You missed his sweet notes you found of the counter when you woke up after him. You missed Sunday morning breakfasts where he would make blueberry pancakes and kiss you, tasting like maple syrup. You missed his warmth at night. You missed him.

So when your phone vibrated around 4:30 in the morning the following day, you checked it immediately.

from: Lin
I love you

You laughed lightly before your phone went off again.

from: Lin
I didn’t say that enough today

two months before

“What if they don’t like me?” you asked anxiously, refusing to get out of the car.

“Y/N, you have nothing to worry about. They are going to adore you.”

You bounced your leg. He wanted you to meet his parents. Tugging slightly at your dress, you huffed before taking his hand. He shut the door behind you, pushing you against it.

“They,” he started, kissing your nose.

“Are,” Your forehead.

“Going.” Cheek.

“To.” Jaw.

“Love…” Neck - you stopped him, pushing lightly. You knew if he kept going, he was going to get whatever he wanted. So, with the dignity you had left, you stalked in front of him and made sure to sway your hips a little more than usual. He whistled before running to catch up with you.

(For the record, they did love you.)

one month before

He told you this might happen. He did. He told you that the play was gaining popularity and that if it were anything like In The Heights, it might be crazy. You didn’t expect him to be gone so much though.

But as nights got later, and weekends away got longer, you started to worry if he had forgotten about you.

Your fears rang true when he forgot to call home and tell you he was flying to Vegas for an interview.

Lin called the following day when he remembered that he said he would call… yesterday. He was even more scared when you didn’t yell at him. When your voice was calm. It was so calm, that he almost missed it.

“I can’t do this anymore.”

now

“Y/N,” he breathed.

You didn’t know what to do, so you just stood there. After a moment more of the only sound being the rain pounding on the roof, you sighed.

You shook your head, “No.”

“Wait -” he tried, but you stopped him.

This time, sharper, “No. You - you don’t get to do that. You can’t just disappear from my life and leave me and then a month later come back and pretend like everything is okay and that I’m just going to forget how bad you hurt me -”

“Y/N, let me explain -”

“No! You don’t get to. You don’t get to stand here, all… all wet and sad and expect me to just accept it!” He was getting closer.

“Y/N -”

“No!” You tried to shut the door, angry tears running down your face. He stopped you, dripping on your door mat.

“Y/N, you don’t know how hard I’ve tried to walk away. You don’t know how hard I’ve tried to forget your smile and your laugh and your touch but, but God, I can’t! Okay? I can’t.” You had stopped pushing him by now.

“Every day, I go to work and I sing these songs and I do these interviews and all I can think about is you. All I can think about is how awful I was at the end and how much I need you in my life, okay?” You were barely breathing.

“Every day, I sit and wonder: how the hell did I let you slip away? How the hell did I let the best thing that has ever happened to me slip away?” He had started to pace.

“Every day, you were perfect. Every day, you loved me no matter the mistakes I made. And every day, I left. And every damn day, you stayed. And God, I should’ve stayed. God, I should’ve stayed.” He stopped, turning to face you. You took a step forward.

“God, I should’ve stayed,” he managed before you cut him off, pushing your lips onto his. You weren’t sure if the water on his face was from the rain or his tear, but you clutched him like he was going to disappear into thin air at a moments notice.

“You’re here now,” you finally said. Your lungs burned. Your eyes burned. Your heart burned. Everything burned. But he was there. And he held you. And he stayed.

They're Blue - Stiles Stilinski Oneshot

Prompt: Stiles is having a hard time controlling his shift, so he turns to his anchor for help, but it doesn’t work. (Gif not mine)

Warnings: Mentions of dying, sad

Word Count: 1,370

Pairing: Werewolf!Stiles Stilinski x Reader

A/N: Glad I got this out of my drafts. Hope you like it :)

~Masterlist~

You didn’t expect to become the only human in the pack. You see there was two humans in the pack, You and Stiles, but after what happened to Stiles he didn’t have much a choice. Stiles life was at stake. He was practically on his deathbed. So you had to turn to your only option left; Scott. Scott bit Stiles in order to save his life. It was hard enough as it was, but Stiles becoming a werewolf, now that was even harder. He had a hard time trying to control his shifting. But he had his friends to help him along the way.

“Tell me again why were here” Malia said. She clearly wasn’t in the mood to attend another pack meeting.

“Because there’s a super moon tonight, and we need to make sure nobody does anything stupid” All eyes turn to face Liam after Scott said that.

“Oh come on, it was one time” He whined.

“Yeah and that’s still embedded into our heads” Stiles told him.

“It was really hot out that night” He shrugged.

“Beacon Hills usually is during the summer” Stiles quipped.

“Okay we get it guys, knock it off you two” You gave a playful stern look to them. Whether those two believed it or not they were the best of pals. Liam looked up to Stiles and Scott, but Liam would appreciate it more if the guidance consisted without the constant sarcasm and teasing.

“Y/N’s right, we have a serious matter, this isn’t like any other moon we’ve been through, the super moon will make us more aggressive, stronger, even violent, and we all have to stay alert at all times, we can’t risk anyone getting hurt” Scott said in his alpha leader tone.

“Or killed” Malia pitched in.

“Exactly” Scott nodded.

“So how will we be able to control it?” Hayden questioned.

“We have chains, so shouldn’t that at least help get you through the night?” Lydia said.

“It’s not enough, everyone would break free instantly” Scott shook his head.

What about mountain ash, would that hold you guys back?” Mason suggested.

“That’s not a bad idea” Stiles nodded.

“Great problem solved! Um but what are we going to do about the human in the room?” You pointed at yourself.

“The human…will stay as far away from any of us” Stiles flailed his arms around gesturing to the supernatural beings in the room.

“I wanna help!” You pleaded.

“No, I’m not risking putting you in danger!”

“Since when do you get to decide on my well being”,”What cat got your tongue now?!”. You raised an eyebrow.

“Just stay out of it Y/N, j-just go home” He pointed to the door. Everyone of your friends avoiding your gaze.

“Fine” You muttered. Little did he know you weren’t going to listen to him.

“Okay I think that’s enough mountain ash to keep you guys in” Mason got up and dusted his palms on his jeans.

“Good job Mason” Lydia stood beside him behind the line of mountain ash. She used the lake house for situations like these. Scott, Hayden, Liam, Malia, and Stiles were all chained up to poles, the mountain was for just in case. All of them could feel how the super moon was effecting them. They let out animalistic grunts and growls. Fur growing on their face, claws coming out of their fingernails. It was a recipe for a serious disaster.

“I think that’s are cue to leave!” Mason started tugging on Lyds upperarm.

“Good idea” She nodded her head in agreement. They ran to Lydia’s car hoping that the mountain ash was enough to keep them from running wild into the night. When they thought they were good, it just got worse. They saw you walking towards the shed. Lydia immediately calling you to retreat.

You walked towards the door pushing it forwards, the door creaking in response. You stood at the door looking into the dark quiet room, just as you were about to take a step, you couldn’t help but stop dead in your tracks, five glowing eyes staring right back at you.

They charged at you at full speed growling. You stumbled back and fell on your butt, crawling backwards as they approached you. Although the only thing that was keeping them from tearing you to shreds was the line of mountain ash aligned at the door, creating a strong force field that most supernatural creatures couldn’t break through; thankful it worked on werewolves.

You stared at the gaze of your boyfriend Stiles. HIs golden irises staring you down. He never looked more scary.

“…Stiles” You slowly stood.

“This isn’t you okay, it’s the moon taking control of you”

“THIS IS ME!” He roared making you flinch.

“No it’s not!” You cried out. You took each step with caution.

“Baby, just j-just find an anchor, yeah an anchor, okay me, think of me!” You nodded.

“The only thing I want to find is my teeth in that pretty neck of yours!” Okay now you were terrified.

“Stiles please, okay, you have to fight this!” You were now face to face with him. You hand on the force field. You couldn’t stop crying.

“Y/N!” You whipped your head to see Lydia and Mason approaching you. Stiles took your distraction as an advantage, pushing onto the invisible wall making the force field knock you off balance. You slipped on your feet falling to your back, your left foot skidding across the line of mountain ash, breaking it in the process.

“ugh..Stiles” you whispered out in pain. You saw him slowly approach you looking at you as if you were prey. Your eyes widened fearing the worst to come.

“NO!” Lydia screamed, not just any scream, a banshe scream, she was running to you as fast as she could in her heel boots. The rest of the pack gathered around now fulling in control of themselves, looked down at the scene in front of them. Mason being the only one who seemed to call for help, yet nobody would make it in time.

You didn’t know what was happening. It felt like a blur. You felt a horrendous pain in your chest., but you were going numb. You were going in an out of an unconscious state of mind. Then everything seemed to go black. Stiles stopped suddenly, his mind finally processing what he had just done. His claws were dripping with blood. Your blood. His eyes went back to their original chocolate brown. He hesitantly brought a hand to your face caressing it softly.

“B-baby? No no no no no… Y/N nooo please wake up” He whispered.

“Stiles..” Scott voice rang out.

“NO! Y/N!” Stiles yelled out. He brought you into his arms rocking you back and forth kissing your hair. Your head flung back. Your whole body was limp. You were practically weightless. He could no longer hear the sound of your heart beating.

“No baby I’m sorry, I’m sorry” Tears were pooling out of his eyes.

Scott, Malia, Liam, and Hayden didn’t hear any thumping in your chest. You were gone. Lydia was on the floor weeping for her friend, weeping for you.

Stiles knew the risk’s, he knew what would happen to you, but he didn’t think he would be the one to take away your life. Sirens could be heard approaching. It wasn’t the ambulance though, it was Stiles father and Deputy Parrish.

“Stiles” Sheriff Stilinski ran up to his son, his gazed stopped on you.

“Is she-”

“Yeah” Lydia responded.

“oh no…” Sherif Stilinski ran a  hand down his face. It was bad enough he was dealing with all the supernatural stuff, but to see you, his sons girlfriend laying dead in his arms was worse. He saw sort saw you like his own daughter wanting to keep you safe, but then again no was ever really.

“I killed her dad” Stiles muttered

“Stiles-” His dad started.

“NO! I CAN’T BRING HER BACK, SHE’S DEAD BECAUSE OF ME!” He shouted out. All gazes suddenly fell on him. Everyone knew what would happen, they knew the stories, they knew the outcome, they knew how Derek ended up.

“What?” He cried out.

“Stiles…your eyes..they’re blue”.
