Putting Lipstick On A Pig

by reddit user Pippinacious

Except for the whole murder thing, Courtney James seemed like a lovely young woman. She was bright, articulate, a dedicated college student and well liked waitress at a popular restaurant.

I met her when she was sitting in an interrogation room at the precinct. She was a bit on the larger side, dressed conservatively in pastel colors and minimal makeup, and when I came in, she introduced herself with a polite smile, as if we were meeting for a job interview as opposed to a police investigation. She had declined to have an attorney present, so I got right to business.

Summary: In which Jeon Jungkook is that friendly neighborhood superhero, you’re the face in the hallway that saved his high school career, and he can’t ever seem to get a grip around you. Even when he makes you scream after a fated accident—not for the reason you may be thinking; get the thought out of your head!
Pairing: Jungkook | Reader
Genre: Fluff/Smut; Spiderman AU
Word Count: 14,838
Author’s Note: Honestly though, it was only a matter of time before I got around to writing a story like this. I am obsessed with Spiderman, so this might just be the foundational guideline for many future Jungkook Spiderman AU drabbles to come in the future.

The story was also heavily inspired by this photo that made me cry for seven days and seven nights. +photo credit !!!!!!!

.

(the present)

If Jeon Jungkook is against anything in his life, it’s one’s ability to exaggerate certain situations or problems to make those things seem much bigger than they probably were. Well, actually, take that back. It’s not that he’s against it per say, it’s just that his peer’s daily struggles of pop quizzes and missing the morning bus aren’t exactly headliner news—especially in comparison to what he has to go through.

Jeon Jungkook is against exaggeration, probably because he can’t get away with it himself. It’s not that he doesn’t like to exchange his fair share of embellished stories or fabricated events weaved into true experiences, it’s that he can’t afford to do so. Sharing stories of his nightly routines and dashing superhero adventures may seem great, but only if he could manage the burden of a personal life and a masked life intertwining.

As an 18-year-old boy, he can probably say it’s safe to assume that he cannot. Manage the overwhelming, opposite pressure both of his lives take him, that is. It’s difficult enough being a college freshman, a tiny fish in an ocean of whales and sharks, but throw in his late night Spiderman facade would be too much of a tale to share with other people and peers who probably ask too many questions and know too much about him. He’s never liked the exposure that comes with being in the spotlight, and he can’t hide behind his mask if people knew who he was.

Oh. Right. Speaking of his Spiderman facade, that’s who is he. Haven’t heard of him? You know, the dashing hero of Seoul, red and blue spandex attire with a web shooter, fine tuned senses and amazingly quick reflexes? The boy who swings around the city, volunteering for trouble and always coming out right on top? The boy who constantly maintains that casual, slightly amused tone throughout a majority of his rescues?

Yeah, well, that’s Jungkook.

a thing I love about the TransDanny headcanon: there’s a photo of Danny and Maddie when he was little, happily dressed and presenting as male, meaning that his parents either accepted him as trans from a young age, or allowed him to dress himself and have his hair done as short as he wanted and not forcing him to conform to gender roles, which allowed his coming out to be a lot easier

did he have a phase where everyone just called him a ‘tomboy’? or did he announce that he was a boy early on and that was that from then on? did he start school as Daniel or Danielle? like maybe it was one of those kids will be kids things where he wanted to be a boy for a day and his parents were like, 'aww that’s cute we’ll let her have her fun’ but a day became a week, a month, a year, he never grew out of it because he was never just playing pretend

personally I like to think that it started with Maddie and Jack just having super lax views on gender roles, unsurprising since Jack loves knitting which he might have been made fun of for because it’s 'feminine’ and Maddie is very strong and self sufficient and grew up with a big tough sister who wears her hair short and acts very 'masculine’, so they already have experience subverting traditional gender roles

so when they have a daughter who drags them to the boy aisle as soon as she’s old enough to choose her own clothes/toys and asks for a short haircut like that Chip Skylark guy who sings about his shiny teeth on tv, Maddie and Jack are just like, yeah sure why not? their kid can look however she wants

Danny was able to present as male from a very early age, his parents treated him and Jazz equally regardless of gender and I feel like maybe he didn’t even think to ask to be referred to by male pronouns until he got to school and the kids immediately assumed he was male and he realised ho dang, this feels RIGHT.

and then he’d have the teachers calling him Danielle and referring to him as female and another kid is like, umm Danny’s a boy tho?? and the teacher looks at this little boy with little boy hair and little boy clothes and is like, oh uh sorry kid there must have been a mistake in the paperwork, was it supposed to say Daniel?

and he’s just like yES YES DANIEL THAT’S RIGHT THAT IS MY NAME ALWAYS YEP

but then he feels bad because technically he 'lied’ to the teacher so he goes home and doesn’t say anything because he thinks his parents will be mad at him for lying on his first day at school

and then the parents get a call from some very confused school staff asking whether or not they’d enrolled a boy or a girl because they had a Danielle Fenton in the paperwork but a Daniel Fenton was dropped off to class this morning and that’s when Maddie and Jack were like… oooooh okay so this is how it is

they tell the school that he’s definitely a boy, always has been, they don’t say he’s trans because they probably don’t even know that word exists but they do know that their daughter seems far more comfortable as their son and they don’t see a problem with that and as far as they’re concerned it’s none of the school’s business

they’d probably sit Danny down for a talk after that in which he starts crying and apologising and they have to spend about ten minutes ensuring him that he isn’t in trouble for lying at school and if he wants to be a boy that’s okay they can call him a boy for as long as he wants, he just has to let them know if he changes his mind but if he doesn’t then that’s okay too, they just want him to be happy

and from that point on he was pretty much just the Fentons’ son, his parents would buy him binders and do research on trans kids to make sure they were doing the right thing and as soon as he was old enough for T they said they’d support him whether or not he wanted to take it and if there were any complications it was okay because he was still their boy no matter what his body looked like

I mean just, the Fentons have fucked up a lot of aspects of parenthood so I just really really REALLY want them to have done this one RIGHT or as right as they possibly can, they might be quite scatterbrained and neglectful at times but it’s clear that they really do love their kids, and were probably a lot closer with them when they were young, so it makes sense to me that they would be accepting of Danny’s identity even from such a young age

all they want is for their kids to feel happy and safe, which means when they find out he’s half ghost it still doesn’t MATTER, because they already promised they’d accept him no matter what

Archie shared a story of his younger days with Betty which soon ended in a comfortable silence, followed by Veronica’s query.

“What about him?” She asked gesturing down the road to a beanied author walking away from hanging a missing person’s poster on poles and mailboxes. “Doesn’t he fit in to your tales?”

Archie was hesitant. “Yeah, we were friends.”

“What about them?” she asked gesturing to the person in the photo. “I’ve seen the posters around town. I thought this place was a quiet one but so far there’s been a dead body and a missing person.”

Break-Up Novella.

PART TWO: HOW DO YOU COPE WITH HEARTACHE?

PART ONE |

The first part to this novella received such incredible feedback and a generous amount of notes; I am honestly so thrilled that people enjoyed the first section of it. I really am. You guys are absolutely amazing and I love you. I know I suck when it comes to writing angsty, fight/argument scenes so I’m really glad you all enjoyed it and took time to read it.

This chapter - and probably part 4, as well - is a filler section. Not as lengthy, not as long, not as detailed. I think I underestimated some things in this series and probably could have squeezed it into three sections… Haha.

Enjoy! x

chapter song: me & mr jones / amy winehouse.

moving schools was always hard. you would think that i would have gotten used to it by now. 6 schools in 3 years, spread across 5 states.

my parents were never on the best of terms. they were teenagers when they had me and that was the start of their adult life.

my mom re-married and moved to germany because my stepdad was in the army. all of the moving schools was due to the army life we married into.

i never really grew up with my dad in my life. he was a trouble maker and my mom didn’t appreciate his carelessness. he moved to riverdale when I was 3, and I hadn’t seen him since.

I’m now a 16 year old and this is the first time i’ll be living with him. i’m nervous, but at least he is letting me stay with him and his girlfriend.

we pull up to a trailer park called sunnyside. the sign was faded from sun damage, making me laugh a little bit at the irony of the situation.

the cab slowly stopped in front of an older trailer with caution. i slowly get out of the cab, grab my cases and take it to the front.

i notice that the second i close my door the cab driver sped off. the trailer has a sticker on the door that reads welcome to the snake den.

interesting. i knock on the front door three times, not sure where to look.

almost instantly a tall blonde lady opens the door. she was beautiful, but she looked hungover. she looked me up and down, not with a bad attitude but with curiosity.

“can i help you?” she questioned, hesitance present in her voice.

“um, is danny here?” i answer.

a look of clarity spread across her face.

“you must be y/n.” the stranger stated, leaning against the doorway smiling.

“yeah.” I blurt out.

“i’m lana, your dads girlfriend.” she announced.

“nice to meet you.” i uttered, super shy for some reason.

she then gestured for me to come in - so I grabbed my bags and I walked into the dingy trailer.

It looked like it had just been cleaned, the windows were open and there was a small arrangement of flowers in an old beer bottle. they were rose’s.

she then had me follow her to a small bedroom. the bedsheets were pink and there was a small desk in the corner of the room.

“by the way your dad speaks about ya I was expecting a little girl to walk through that door, but you’re not so little anymore. you’re stunning.” She insisted, the compliment making me blush.

“he talks about me?” I question, cocking an eyebrow in disbelief.

“oh god, all the damn time. there’s a photo of you and him next to his bed.” she states matter-of-factly.

“where is he?” I ask

.“oh um-uh- he’s at work, he’ll be back real soon.” she acknowledged.

after that brief conversation with lana, I began to unpack my stuff. i set up my laptop and i went onto my blog. writing gave me clarity and was a calming release for me.

all thoughts were interrupted when I heard a car roar past the trailer. the doors opened and I heard a whole bunch of guys laughing and yelling.

I heard a soft knock on my door and then it was followed by lana telling me that my dad was back. that’s when my nerves hit.

i adjusted my hair into a pony tail and i stepped out of my room. as i walk out i bump into a tall, black haired boy. his eyes were deep blue and we stared at one another for a second.

“oh sorry.” i say trying to avoid eye contact. he was hot and i was embarrassed.

silence entered the room at a record setting speed. dead silence. all of a sudden a look of relief washed upon the mysterious strangers face.

“you’re y/n, right?” he asked, raking his long fingers through his thick hair.

“yeah.” i nodded, while realising this question would be a re-occurring one.
while looking at the tall, dark and handsome guy, I noticed he had a cool leather jacket on. it appeared to be vintage, but it gives him this look. like a mixture of a young james dean and young leo dicaprio.

“i think i need to go and you know, see danny.” i mumble, doing that awkward rock on my heels people do when they want to leave a room.

the cute stranger smiles and carries on towards the restroom. the back of his jacket has two embroided snakes on it. southside serpents. pretty cool if I do say so myself. must be their school football team.

as i exit the small hallway i’m greeted by loud cheers, filling the small trailer. i get a bit of a fright, looking around at all these smiley strangers.

tall and scary men, some older and some look around my age. tattoos and matching leather jackets. i see a man get up and walk over to me.

younger looking guy, tons of tattoos. it’s danny, i can tell. we have the same eyes.

“good to see you again, y/n.” he smiled, giving me a massive squeeze.

“hey danny.” I reply, returning the smile.

we sat down and started taking with all the guys and i can promise you this, i’ve never laughed so much in my whole entire life. the tall and handsome boy was sitting in the middle of the crowd, looking at me. with some sudden ball of courage, i ask him a question.

“i have a camera if you wanna use it.” i snicker.

the boy goes red and the crowd busts up laughing. all of them turning to danny saying i’m just like him.

“you and your sarcasm suck..” the boy states matter-of-factly, looking up at me with the most wonderful half smile.

“well i’d like to credit you for that powerful statement, but i don’t have your name.” i answer back.

“jughead jones.” and with that unusual introduction, i got handed my own leather jacket. it was the day I met my future husband and the day the future queen of the southside serpents was born.

“I will never be able to reach my ideal self.”

(Shoma’s interview in the Quadruple 2017 Extra magazine. Magazine scan credits to @niaori - Please do not repost these photos.)

As an explorer of figure skating…

Shoma Uno, who decided to devote his life to figure skating when he was little, and who has been chasing after his ideal self since then. Even after winning the silver medal at the World Championships, as he evolves himself, he continues to push his skating life forward while maintaining and improving his skills, mental strength, and physical condition.

Congratulations on your silver medal at Worlds and your gold medal as a team at the World Team Trophy. Is there a different type of happiness in winning as a team compared to winning alone?

S: Yes. Since this is the outcome which resulted from everyone’s best fights, there is a different type of happiness to it.

During WTT, were you thinking about the Team Event at the Olympics?

S: That, I didn’t really think about. I did have the goal to “win as a team”, but I was mainly thinking “I hope each and every one of the team members get to skate their best performance” and “I hope I don’t pull the team down”.

What if since meeting your soulmate is the best thing to happen to you, they get teleported to the site of the worst thing that’s happened to you?

or: my take on this AU by @shitty-check-please-aus

Jack skates through the crowd of his teammates who are currently mobbing the small blonde freshman who brought pie of all things into his practice.  He’s kind of intending to ask the kid what the hell he thinks he’s doing feeding these guys before they have to go run drills, anyway.  Like seriously, does he want a rink full of projectile-vomiting jocks?  Cuz that’s an ugly scene that he does not want to explain to the ice crew.  But he’s the captain, and so when guys on his team act like morons, Jack is always the one who has to go apologize on behalf of the Samwell Men’s Hockey Team.

He’s more than ready to lay into the new guy, but when the crowd parts, and new guy looks up, he smiles this nervous little smile and says,

“Hi!  I’m Eric -” and then everything goes black.

Coach Bittle got into the habit of always checking the janitor’s closet on his way out of the building every night.  After what happened to Junior, he ended up just sort of gravitating there.  The first time he’d had the urge to check inside, he’d ignored it and spent the rest of the night tossing and turning, imagining a tiny freshman, plopped on a bucket and crying their eyes out.  When the custodian showed up at 5, Coach was already waiting in his truck with a cup of coffee.  Now he just gives in.  Figures that as far as compulsive, guilty urges go, it’s not that bad.  Only takes him another minute out of his way, and now he goes home and sleeps like a baby.

Luckily, depite making it part of his nightly routine for the past few years, nobody’s actually been locked in there.  Well.  Locked in.  There were certainly a few encounters he interrupted.  Those times he was delayed more than a minute having to make uncomfortable phone calls to parents.

The first and only time that Coach Bittle rescues someone from the janitor’s closet is actually not even during the school year, and he isn’t actually checking for anyone.  He’d just come in to do some paperwork for preseason and spilled coffee on his desk, and when he goes to get the actually absorbent paper towels from the closet, he finds a very large, very confused man in full hockey gear.

“AHHHH!” They both scream and jolt back, Coach stumbling and catching himself on the drinking foundtain, the large hockey man, being not so lucky and still wearing skates, sits in a mop bucket.  His only solace seems to be that it’s currently empty.

“What in the sam hell!?” Coach yells, regaining his footing.  Hockey man flinches and his eyes dart around like a cornered racoon.

“Where am I?” he chokes out.  “What’s - what’s going on?”  He looks up and meets Coach’s eyes.  Coach looks down at hockey man’s jersey.  Samwell Men’s Hockey.  And he is not a stupid man by any stretch of the imagination, so it takes only a few stunned seconds to realize that this must me Junior’s soulmate.  Why else would one of his teammates have been catapulted down to Georgia?

“You’re in Madison, Georgia, son.  Looks like you just met your soulmate.”

“My - but I - I was at practice?”  Hockey man looks up at him, and from way down there, looking so goddamn confused, he finally looks young enough to be playing with Dicky’s team.

“And now you’re here.  So what does that tell you?”  Coach raises an eyebrow.

“That…I…met my soulmate?”

“Sounds about right.  Also sounds like you probably need to be getting on your way back, don’t it?”

“Um, yes.  That would be.  I should.  Um.  Go.”

“Might want to start with taking off the skates first.”

“Oh, I.  Yes.”  Hockey man awkwardly lifts his legs one by one and scrunches up to untie his laces.  Coach helps him pull the skates off, and then offers a hand up out of the bucket.

“Thank you, sir.”

“No trouble.”

“Jack Zimmermann,” he introduces himself and holds his hand out to shake.  “Nice to meet you.”

“Eric Bittle Senior,” Coach tells him, trying not to feel a little pleased when the boy’s face goes pale in recognition.  “Come on, I’ll give you a ride back where y’all belong.”

“But I - That’s Massachusetts.”

“I know what I said.  Hussle, you’ve got another practice tomorrow mornin’ I bet.”

“Yes, sir.”

“Then we oughtta hope traffic’s on our side.”

Meanwhile, Bob Zimmermann nearly cuts his ear off shaving when he hears a loud thump followed by a sqeuak behind him.  He turns to find a strange young man in a Samwell Men’s Hockey jersey sprawled across his bathroom floor, clutching a pecan pie to his chest.

“Chrisse!” He yells, razor clattering to the sink.  He manages to catch his towel before it falls, luckily, but his yelling seems to have startled the poor kid even more.  He’s shaking a little as he sets the pie down gently and sits up. The blades of his skates clink against the tile.

“I - Um - Oh dear, I am so sorry!  I don’t - I don’t know what happened!  I was at practice and then - I mean - I’ll just be going.”

“Non!”  Bob rushes to assure the boy it’s fine, but when he steps forward, it startles him all over again.  Clearing his throat, Bob steps back and switches to English.  “I mean, there’s no need to apologize.  I know why you’re here, I just - wasn’t expecting you at this particular moment.”

“You…were expecting me?”

“Well…not you exactly, but…the…concept? of you?  Jack’s soulmate.  We - His mother and I, we knew when he met them, they would show up here.”

“Oh…I…guess that makes sense?”

“I’m sorry we had to meet like this.  I feel terribly underdressed.”  The boy stares at him blankly until Bob cracks a smile.  Then, he breaks out into loud pleals of laughter.  His eyes are a warm brown and crinkle at the corners, his nose scrunches.  He looks like such a happy person.  Maybe happy enough that some of it will rub off on Jack.

Hockey boy stands up and shakes the hand that isn’t holding Bob’s towel up.  “Eric Bittle, pleasure to meet you.”

“Bob Zimmermann, nice to meet you too.”  Another good (although strange, very strange) sign: there isn’t a trace of recognition in the boy’s face at hearing the name “Bob Zimmermann”.  Of course Jack’s soulmate would be the only hockey player alive who had no clue who the fuck his father is.

Eric hobbles out of the bathroom and sits against the wall in the hallway to take his skates off before making his way downstairs to the kitchen where Bob had said his wife Alicia was probably hanging out.  Sure enough, when he found the (gorgeous.  stunning.  drool-worthy.) kitchen, there was a  tall, blonde woman sitting cross-legged on one of the barstools, a cup of coffee in one hand and the other propping open a book.

“Hello,” he announces himself quietly.  She’s still startled, though not nearly as much as her husband had been.  When she turns and gets a look at him, she puts the coffee down and lets the pages of the book flop freely, unfolding herself from the seat.

“Hello.  You must be…”

“Eric.  Eric Bittle.”

“Right.  And -”

“Jack’s soulmate.  Yes ma’am, it would seem so.”  He smiles timidly, and is most definitely not expecting to be enveloped in a hug.

“It’s so nice to meet you.”

“The pleasure’s all mine, Mrs. Zimmermann.”

“Well,” Alicia steps back and puts her hands on her hips, regarding Eric with a motherly smile.  “Can I get you a cup of coffee while we wait for Bob?”

Jack and Coach switch drivers every state.  Coach insists that each time, they take a photo in front of the Welcome sign.  Jack snaps a few pictures on his phone when he’s in the passenger seat.  When it’s his turn to drive, he tries to educate Coach on the finer points of hockey and the top NCAA teams, and Coach in turn tries to explain how the hell football works.

The Zimmermanns put Eric on a plane back to Massachusetts that night with his hockey gear stuffed in a duffel and wearing the least obviously early 2000s clothes they could find in Jack’s old dresser.

“We wish we could go with you,” Alicia tells him, seeming genuinely sad to be sending him off alone.

“But Jack probably wouldn’t appreciate…intruding.  He likes to keep his life at school seperate from his life back home, you know?”

“Of course, don’t worry a bit.  It was so nice meeting y’all.”

When the airport shuttle leaves Eric in front of his dorm, he’s exhausted from the trip and starting to stress out about seeing Jack.  His soulmate.  Who he’d barely seen in the first place, only a quick impression of tall and eyes before he’d been wormholed to Montreal.  He thinks he has to be seeing things when he first catches sight of his father’s old blue truck pulled up against the curb.

He shakes himself and starts for the building, but from behind him, Coach’s voice calls,

“Dicky!  Er- Eric!”  Eric’s head spins a little with how fast he turns around.  Because there’s no way.  His dad hadn’t been able to get away from preseason long enough to drive Eric up to school in the first place.  There’s no way he’s - But the there’s Jack, sliding out of the passenger seat.  Because Coach had driven him.  All the way from Georgia.  Because he’s Eric’s soulmate.  Coach is hand-delivering the love of Eric’s life and he just…cannot with this day anymore.

So he focuses on the one tiny part that he can wrap his travel-weary brain around.  He walks up to Jack, who’s watching him raptly, eyes darting everywhere like he’s trying to make sure he memorizes everything before he disappears again, and says,

“I don’t think we managed to introduce ourselves properly last time.”

Jack laughs.

Okay, so this was initially gonna be a small thing and then it kinda got away from me so it’s a slightly less small thing? I basically needed to write something that wasn’t academic for once in my life and then this happened (with a great deal of help from @fragmentofmymind who is the greatest and listens to me every time I hit a metaphorical writing speed bump)

It’s far from the best thing I’ve ever written but I’ve had fun in this universe so far (and hope you do too). Thanks for being patient with me, my dudes. I LOVE YOU LOTS.

There’s a quiet power in wielding a camera, a strength in the ability to either capture the world in its purest truth or manipulate it into something brand new. You had learned this at a young age, stealing your grandmother’s Polaroid camera and discovering how different the image you could create would look in different types of light and more or less motion, even if you didn’t fully understand why it worked the way that it did.

It became a part of you, filling your heart with a curiosity for telling stories through images. The photo you caught of your mother as she laughed quietly to herself in the kitchen, a snapshot of your best friend right at the moment she caught you taking it, a poorly framed photo you accidentally took of yourself while trying to change the roll of film.

It was all magical to you, and it never really stopped feeling like you’d tricked the universe into allowing such beauty to exist every time you snapped a one-of-a-kind photograph.

A camera is built out of complicated technology. The mechanics of focus and aperture, f-stops and shutter speed were more than science and math to you–they were your doorway into a new world, the look of which you got to decide.

Your hands felt most comfortable when stabilizing a camera, your eye most at home behind a viewfinder, your fingers their most graceful as you pulled focus to a new subject–

“Are you even listening to me?”

The Date

5:50

I let out a long sigh after checking my phone for what seemed like the hundredth time in the past five minutes. It wasn’t anything fancy really. Just a beat up flip phone that had been in my family for what I assumed was generations. Playing with it did help with my nervous energy but now I was exhausted. Was he really not going to show up? I checked through my texts again, hoping to see one from him, but alas, there was nothing.

The restaurant that we had chosen was nice enough, not too overdone. It had a modernish rustic kind of feel to it. But most importantly it didn’t require me to wear a dress and that’s really what counted. I’d dressed up in a white crop top with black and white striped flowing pants paired with my favourite choker and sunglasses. The outfit was perfect for a hot summer day, but now as evening quickly approached, a chill began to set in the air.

Fiddling with the neatly folded napkins was a nice way to ignore the pitying glances of those around me. I flipped my phone open again. 6:01. I gritted my teeth. As much as I tried to fight it, I was getting annoyed. Like spit at your feet and flip you off kind of annoyed. Out of the corner of my eye I can see the same kindly waitress who has asked my order twice in the past hour already. This time I was debating on just getting a takeout and taking a cab home.

“Would you like to order now, miss?” A knowing glint was in her eyes. I smiled thinly at her, hands in a death grip around the water glass as I brought it to my lips. “You know what, thank you for asking Theresa, but I think I’ll just leave.” That’s right. I’d been here so long I even knew her name without needing to glance at the silver tag clipped at her chest. “Why don’t you get something to take home first, dear?” she suggested. “It’s on the house.”

This time my smile was genuine. “Thank you,” I said. I knew what I wanted without even looking at the menu. I’d spent my first hour waiting here memorizing it. If they needed a new waitress I was sure I would get the job without even blinking. “I’ll have the chicken fettuccine alfredo, please.” Theresa scribbled it on her notepad then looks up to smile at me. “I’ll be back in a few minutes, you just wait right here.”

“It’s not like I have anything better to do,” I mutter as she walks away. I sighed again, this time at the irony of that statement. Thankfully the wait for my food wasn’t long. Theresa handed me the bag. I thanked her again and rose from my seat hoping to scurry out the door without anyone staring at the miserable girl who’s date didn’t come. It wasn’t working. I could feel hundreds of pairs of eyes on me. My cheeks heated in anger and embarrassment. Perhaps I would use my time while eating to plot how I would make him pay for this. Ignore his texts all week maybe. Or I could post an embarrassing photo of him and tag all our friends. Hmm, so many options.

I was so caught up in my revenge plot that I didn’t even notice the boy who has sunk into the set across from me in the booth giving me an apologetic smile. He shook out his leather jacket and placed it beside him. “Sorry I’m so late, babe, traffic is crazy right now,” he says loudly enough for the whole room to hear. My eyes must be as wide as saucers as I gape at him. “I’m Cal, by the way. Just go with it, yeah? Whoever didn’t bother to show up is a complete dick,” he quietly adds. I force myself to relax for the eyes still watching us. I guess I had to go along with whatever the hell this was. My hand tightened on my bags, prepared to bolt if this stranger was really just a jerk who thought picking on me would be funny. Relax, breathe. “Of course, I understand. But you’re here now and that’s all that counts,” I say smoothly, fighting to keep my voice from shaking. What the hell kind of situation was this? I cursed in my head. Trouble seemed to trail me wherever I went. My response silences the whispers and giggles. The words sounded warm and charming though I felt anything but.

Say something else Mare, the poor fool is just sitting there looking at you. Oh right. “I’m Mare. Mare Barrow,” I introduce myself to this odd stranger. Well odd was one word for him. Another was jaw-dropping. Stunning. Hot. It was unfair how attractive he was with that glossy black hair in a messy bed head kind of style that suited him paired with warm amber eyes that looked like flickering flames when they hit a certain light. He had a nice stubble along his cheeks and chin and was dressed in a casual green sweater and blue jeans with his brown leather jacket. His lips curled into an amused smile when he noticed me checking him out and I blushed furiously. Something about him was oddly familiar and I couldn’t put my finger on it.

“Don’t be embarrassed about it. If we’re being honest, I was checking you out too,” he says nonchalantly. Under the table I pinched myself just to make sure that I was awake and that this wasn’t some crazy dream. But it wasn’t. This was a crazy reality which was even worse. What’s so bad about being on an unplanned date with a hot guy? a traitorous voice inside my head whispered. Well, I couldn’t argue with that logic. Cal settles into his seat looking strangely relaxed. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he put his feet up on the table. He casually sips on some water while I gawk at him. “Well,” he sighs, “I suppose you have some questions.” “Umm, yeah?” I say in an its so obvious tone.

“What’s your full name?” He purses his lips at that one. I can’t hep but feel slightly suspicious at his reaction. “Okay, you caught me. My real name isn’t Cal, it’s–” he hesitates, silent laughter dancing in eyes. “It’s technically Tiberias Calore the Seventh, but that’s kinda long so people just call me Cal.” He seems nervous while speaking and it take everything I have to not burst out laughing. I didn’t know why his nervousness was so endearing to me. “What about you Miss Barrow? Is that your real full name?” he asks me. Cal rests his chin on his hand while observing me.

“It’s Mare Molly Barrow, but I mostly ignore the middle part,” I confess, shrugging.  "Second question, what are you doing here and why are you helping me?“ He grins at me, waggling a finger. "Nuh uh, that’s two questions.” I roll my eyes. “Well I as going to ask you sooner or later, and may I remind you that you’re the one who jumped in on my non-existent date, so I get to ask the questions here how I like.” Cal doesn’t seem fazed by my response at all, in fact, based on his expression that he approved it. Like he was expecting me to bite back.

“I expect no less from you,” he says, that same infuriating yet adorable mischievous smile plastered on his lips. Goddammit Mare, stop staring at his lips. Once I register his words I feel my face scrunch up in confusion. “Expect?” I repeat, dumbfounded. “Do I know you?” He chuckles at my confused expression. I narrow my eyes at him, hoping to place his face. I knew I recognized him, but from where? He lets me puzzle it out, watching and sipping on his water all the while. A one-night stand perhaps? Nope, I didn’t do those. A friend of a friend maybe who I didn’t remember? “I’ve got nothing,” I finally sigh.

“We used to go to the same high school,” he shakes his head in mock hurt. “I can’t believe this. You don’t remember me.” He has to be lying. There was no way that I could forget someone that attractive. “When did you graduate?” I ask him, watching carefully for any sign of a lie. “Last year. I was captain of the senior football team,” Cal says, this faraway look in his eyes, like he was reliving it in his mind’s eye. Perhaps he was. A faint flash of a memory flitted across my mind. I was up in the bleachers with Kilorn watching as a game took place below. It was my first time going to such an event, and all I remember was wanting to go home. I didn’t even notice when the captain scored thee winning goal, but I pretended to cheer along with everyone else. I was sophomore when he graduated which is likely the reason I didn’t remember him much, other than that. "How did you recognize me?“ I ask him, suddenly aware of the thought. Was he a stalker or something? Or just really good at remembering people?

He notes my tense posture and his face softens. "You don’t need to be afraid of me, I’m not going to hurt you.” I don’t relax. His jaw clenches and he gives me a strained smile. “How could I forget the girl who spray painted the principals car?”

My shoulder stiffen in surprise at his words. Ever so slowly my lips part into a smile and I laugh. Cal watches me, smiling as well. It was genuine, soft crooked smile that tugged at my heart. “Oh my god I can’t believe you remember that,” I groan, hiding my face between my hands to conceal the red blush flaring on my cheeks. Slowly, softly, he takes my hands in his and I stare at him. He blushes as well at my struck expression. “Sorry, I just…I think your blush is…” He fumbles with the words, tripping over them. “You look really beautiful and I–” He stops when he sees my wide eyes. “Ugh that came out wrong, sorry–” he says, looking very much like he would love nothing more than to crawl into a hole and stay there. “You don’t need to apologize,” I tell him softly. He smiles hesitantly. “And thank you.”

“I’d always wondered why you did it,” he muses. “That’s what puzzled me about you.” I stare at him in wonder. I had no idea that he’d even knew my name, much less thought about me often. “I’ll tell you if you answer my questions and stop avoiding them,” I say. “Alright,” he agrees. “I came to visit my friend on his first day of work here. I hoped to see him, but I haven’t, which probably means that he’s doing a terrible job at this and I need to yell at him.” “But,” he adds, “I’m sure his boss has that covered.”

“Secondly, I came over here because you looked sad and slightly pissed. Well actually, more pissed than upset,” he laughs. That fades as he turns serious. “But I heard people whispering and…” He looks down, fiddling with something. I had a feeling he was trying to avoid my gaze. “The things they were saying were terrible, so I thought maybe I could help out this girl that they were talking about.” I wasn’t sure I was breathing normally anymore. It caught in my chest and squeezed painfully. I knew people’s opinion shouldn’t matter to me, and it didn’t, but I couldn’t stand the whispers. It reminded me too much of sophomore year when hushed words would follow me wherever I turned. They thought I couldn’t hear them, but they were wrong. Look, it’s the troubled girl who spray painted the principals car, one person would whisper, and another would accompany it. I heard she did it on purpose. Why would someone do that on purpose? Someone would snort. Because they’re stupid and lack a brain, another responded.

“Then I saw you, and I recognized you. You were sitting there and I thought that whoever didn’t show up was a total ass,” he scoffs. “That ass is my ex, by the way,” I say, tilting my head at him. He flushes. “Sorry for the language.” His brow furrows slightly. “You were meeting your ex?” he asks, confused as to why someone would even do such a thing. “No, but he is now,” I clarify, shrugging. He laughs and that same heart-wrenching grin returned.

“So, I’ve answered your questions. Now it’s your turn to answer mine.”

I nod. Fair enough.

“I did it because for some idiotic reason I wanted to get suspended. Teenage rebellion, I guess,” I joke halfheartedly. The truth was I did know why I did it. That was around the time Tramy had been leaving to follow in Bree’s footsteps and join the military. I had been so angry at everything and everyone. My parents tried to console me at first, but then they would get exasperated, my mother most of all. And that hurt. Everything had come crashing back, my bitterness of being the shadow to my sister, the pretty, sweet talented sister that I could never live up to, the anger of never being seen by my parents as nothing more than nuisance though I knew deep down that it wasn’t true. They loved me in their own way. Only Shade could put up with me, and he was my first friend as well as my older brother.

I’d poured all of that emotion into that stupid action, hoping to get back at my parents somehow, show them that they were right. I was the only the bitter shadow they thought me to be. I struggle to keep the tears in as I explain this all to Cal who patiently listens to me without interrupting. When I finish, he stands up and my heart sinks. He was going to leave, my story had scared him off.

Instead of running off as I expect him to, Cal slowly reaches out to touch my shoulder, his eyes holding a silent question. I nod once and he comes to sit beside me. Cal wraps his arms around me, and I lean on his shoulder, pressing my face into his broad arm. He brushes my hair back from my face and I bite my lip. We stay like that for a while in comfortable silence. I even spot Theresa giving me a wink from across the room, and I try to stifle my laugh.

“I should go now,” I say quietly at last, shattering the silence that had wrapped us both. “What time is it?” He takes out his phone from his pocket and I note that it’s the newest model. Thank goodness I’d asked him first so he wouldn’t see my flip phone that dated back to prehistoric times. “It’s 8:51, he informs me.” I jolt and jump of my seat. Cal’s face contorts in worry. “What is it?” “I was supposed to be home by seven, or at least call my parents,” I explain breathlessly, quickly gathering my things. Don’t panic, don’t panic, I chide myself. I scrambled through my purse for my bus pass, letting out a cry of frustration when I come up empty handed.

“Hey, calm down,” Cal urged. “I’ll give you a ride back, no big deal.” That stills me. “You…you’d drive me home?” He smiles softly. “Of course.” The words sooth me, but only slightly. I didn’t want him to see where I lived. Our sorry excuse of an apartment flashed through my mind. I would have to get him to drop me a couple of blocks ahead then walk the rest of the way. “Thanks, again.” He shrugs. “No problem.”

We head out together. I shiver when a cold gust of wind sweeps across me, and I wrap my arms around myself in an attempt to keep my teeth from chattering. Cal shrugs of his jacket and hands it to me. I stare at it then him. “Aren’t you cold?” I inquire. He shakes his head. “I don’t get cold often strangely enough.” I accept the jacket and put it on.Thankfully it was lined to keep out the cold but thee fit was much too big. I looked like child playing dress up. Cal’s eyes widen when he looks down at me and I suddenly feel self-conscious. “What, what is it?”

He looked slightly dazed. “Nothing’s wrong.” I struggle to cross my arms due to the bulky jacket. “Tell me the truth.” Cal sighs. “You don’t let anything go, do you?” “Nope,” I said, popping the p. "Alright, I was thinking that the jacket looks better on you than it does on me,“ he confesses. Stunned, I don’t say a word. I can only follow him to his car hoping that the darkness would conceal my blush. It was unfair really how flustered he often made me.

My jaw almost drops at the sight of his car. It was gorgeous. Like I’d date it kind of gorgeous. It was a shiny red Volvo trimmed and plated with chrome, shined to perfection. I would bet that it looked even better in daylight. Cal glances at me, enjoying my look of awe. "What are you thinking right now?” he asks. Fine. It was a fair question after all. “I’m thinking that like to date your car,” I tell him. He huffs, amused. “Sorry, but she’s mine.”

"Who said it was a she?“ I counter playfully. "I fixed her myself. I think I would know,” he responds with a wide smile. “Ugh, gross!” I exclaim, smacking him in the chest. I can feel his laugh reverberate in his chest, and I pull my hand away after I realize that it’s been there too long. He catches it deftly and links his fingers with mine. I inhale sharply. He doesn’t pull away once we settle into our seats and neither do I. He asks for my address and I instruct him where to go seeing as he wasn’t familiar with the area. We pass through the tall buildings which slowly level out to townhouses. I knew that they formed the border that separated my side of town from the nice part of the city

“Turn here,” I point. He obliges and we pass through the neat row of houses. 227, one of them reads. “This is it,” I say, hoping he won’t notice the lie. The house was close enough to the edge that it wouldn’t be a long walk on this chilly night. I begin to shrug off the jacket when Cal stops me. “Keep it. As I said, it looks much better on you anyway.” I stare at him in disbelief, the jacket still hanging loosely around my elbows. He fixes it so that it rests on my shoulders and fastens a few of the buttons. I sit there and study him as he works.

“It was nice talking with you,” I say, slightly breathless at his proximity. He looks up and stills as well, suddenly realizing the same thing. The moment felt suspended as if hanging by thread that could fray and snap at any time. I couldn’t think of anything except how beautiful his eyes were. They reminded me of warmth, of autumn. I wasn’t entirely sure he was breathing anymore as he touched my cheek lightly. With his other hand, he raises my own to his lips and presses a kiss to the back. “It was nice talking to you too,” he whispers.

As I start to pull away, he keeps a gentle grip on my hand and I turn back around. “Yes?” I ask him, just as unwilling to let go. “I–” he stutters. “I have one more question for you that I forgot to ask earlier.”

“What is it?”

“I was wondering,” he says softly,  "if you would like to go on a real, actually planned date with me.“

I knew I didn’t even need to think about it. I was sure of my answer.

I smile at him, broad and without restraint. "Yes, I would love to go on a planned date with you.”

He lets out a relieved laugh. “Good.” Cal looks at me almost shyly. “I’ve never been on an actual date.” I pat his hand reassuringly. “You’ll do great, I’m sure of it.” “I hope so,” he replies.

“Just show up in that car and you’re set.”

He laughs again. “Noted.”

We exchange our numbers and I’m careful to keep my phone hidden but he spots it anyway. "Don’t be embarrassed. If it’s any consolation, I think it’s pretty cool. They don’t even make them like that anymore.” I roll my eyes fondly. “Of course. Only a dork like you would notice that.”

“I confess, I am a bit of a nerd,” he smiles teasingly and my heart flutters.

“Goodbye, Mare.“

"Goodbye, Cal.”

As I walk the rest of the way home I can’t stop the infectious grin that worms its way onto my face. My heart felt light like I would float away at any moment. Is this what you were supposed to feel like after a date? I’d never felt that way with my ex. Internally I sigh at the thought of having to break up with him. I’d do it in person. I could do that much.

When I finally get home, mom and dad sigh in relief when I find them at the kitchen table with Gisa. “Where have you been?” She demands. Sometimes I felt like she was more like a mother than my actual mom was. “Calm down. My date wasn’t showing up and I bumped into an old friend from high school and we lost track of time–”

“What do you mean lost track of time,” my dad growls. I sigh heavily. “Calm down dad it wasn’t like that. We just talked.” “That’s what they all say,” he mutters under his breath

.“We’re glad you’re home, darling. Next time, please give us a warning,” mom says tiredly.“I know, I know. Sorry mom,” I sigh again.“Next time?” Gisa huffs. “There will be no next time young lady. Now go to your room.” I crack a small smile at her adult behavior. “Alright, fine,” I concede.

“Wait, where’s Shade?” I ask them. Mom and dad glance at each other while Gisa plays with her hair. “He went out to look for you,” she explains. “We– we thought that something had happened and–” I hold up a hand and she stops speaking. “I got it. Seeing as I’m not dead, you should probably call him and tell him that I’m home.”

Mom jumps to her feet. “Of course, how could I forget.” She practically trips over himself to get to our old home phone. I leave them to it and go to my room. Once I shut the door, I climb into my bed, inhaling the smoky scent of the jacket. It smelled just like him, and I lie there with a stupid grin at the thought of seeing him again.

It was only a matter of time.

anonymous asked:

Hey Gray! I love your blog :D I was wondering if you could do this request: RFA+Minor trio reacting to MC's and their own child being bullied in front of them (like maybe the bullies didn't see them RIGHT THERE) for being chubby but the daughter/son is like really chill and hits them with a 'I'm used to it it's ok' thank you :DD I'll request more now!! Good luck with your blog and excuse my english lolol

Hey now, you’re an all star I’m so sorry nobody is allowed to apologize for their English on this blog. You’re really good with it, so don’t worry at all! English is a bitch to learn, and if anyone judges you I will f i g h t. Also, no matter how many other blogs I’ve seen in the past, I still don’t know who makes up the minor trio. I’ve seen it mentioned a lot, and I always assumed it’s Jaehee, V, and Saeran. If it’s someone else, I’ll gladly write for them, too! (Dialogue of fat-shaming in Jaehee’s. Just a heads up!)

Yoosung:

  • He had to pick up your kid from school one day because he got off from work early
  • Yoosung drove there just a little too early when he saw your child getting harassed by three other kids
  • oh no
  • nonononono
  • Instead of just driving up, he parked that damn car and walked up
  • Just far enough so they thought he was a highschooler  even if hes older hes still small you can fight me on this
  • Once he was in earshot, his only thought was how dare they
  • The things they were saying were downright disgusting to him
  • Yoosung walked right up and tapped one of them on the shoulder
  • “Hey there buddy boy, I’m going to ask, no, tell you to kindly leave and never speak to my child again”
  • Your kid just kinda bip bopped along with him after he turned to leave after the kids had given half-hearted apologies
  • “Hey, Dad?” “What? Do you want ice cream? We can go. If you want to talk, we can do that, too” “I just wanted to say that you didn’t need to do that. What they said is pretty normal for me”
  • oh hell no
  • Yoosung just nodded slightly “But it doesn’t have to be” “It’s just like that, but can we still get ice cream?” “Yep! Just don’t tell, MC!” “Will you promise not to tell them about my school either? I don’t want them worried, since you seem to be”
  • So they went out to a small shop that wasn’t too far away from your home and talked about animals
  • Then once they got home, you could see him looking concerned at your child when the put their bag from school up
  • He went to his office and typed out an email
  • Turns out, he got the three kids suspended
  • PTA Dad Yoosung won’t stand for that shit
  • Didn’t tell MC because he promised

Zen:

  • You can’t tell me he’s not a PTA dad either
  • Sure, practice sometimes doesn’t allow him to go to every meeting
  • But you know he’s ready to fight Nancy at the bake sale because what were those brownies, Jesus, Nancy
  • aNYWAYS, you both had to go to one of those lame ass schools fairs
  • you couldn’t say no to your kid because those puppy eyes reminded you of Zen’s
  • You were waiting in line for food while Zen was buying tickets for things and you let your child go off with their friends
  • Then the yelling started dAMMIT, ZEN
  • “How dare you talk to my child like that?” “Well, um, sir-” “No, I’m not hearing it from you, young man” “I want to say-” “Not you either, young lady!”
  • Zen walked back with your kid in tow and he was fuming
  • “MC! Can we leave? There’s much better food at the restaurant we passed” “Only if you tell me what happened, because it looks like our daughter is perfectly fine” “No, she is nOT. They were making fun of her weight! How dare they insult our princess” “Zen, You sound like a script right now, calm down”
  • Your child just mumbled, “Well, that’s what happened during school anyways”
  • Turning around so quickly that you got bitch-slapped by his hair, he looked at your kid
  • He was n o t having this shit
  • “Who cares if you’ve got squish? There’s just more to love! Those kids are douchebags” “Zen-” “As long as you’re comfortable with you, there’s no issue. If you feel bad because of that snotbag, I will find out who his mom is and raise hell” “Zen-” “That one girl looked like her mom runs a drug cartel. I should know, too, because her mom is probably Bethany” “Hyun!”
  • He turned back towards you flashing a slightly awkward smile
  • “MC, that boy was a beast
  • “Not this again” Well, damn, if your kid is sick of it, he probably should be, too
  • You ended up leaving after your kid was done with his shit wanted to leave
  • He may or may not have raised a little hell on the board
  • Gave a two minute monologue on bullying at the monthly meeting

Jaehee: (Good end and after end spoilers)

  • Your son liked to hang around the café after school was done with a few friends
  • He came in one day with several people, a few being ones you recognized
  • You were taking orders and Jaehee was wiping down tables along with picking up dishes
  • cue dramatic plate falling when she overheard their conversation
  • “Maybe your clothes wouldn’t be so big if your  parents didn’t bake so much for you” “He’s right. All those pastries can’t be that great. Especially with how little you do in PE” “Maybe stop eating all of your lun-”
  • “Excuse me, but who are you, ma’am?” “Just a friend of this kid” “Get out of this café” “Who are you? Where’s the manager?”
  • “Mom, it’s fi-” “I’m Mrs. Kang, the owner of this establishment, and the disgusting comments you are making are towards my son. Leave
  • The girl turned bright red and moved to gather her things
  • Jaehee’s badass arm stopped her from properly getting up
  • “I thought it was heavily implied that you were to apologize”
  • She was downright glaring at this kid
  • You paused when nobody else was at the counter and turned your attention to what was going down
  • This look wasn’t even reserved for customers who threw orders at her
  • Once the girl left after having to repeat her apology several times, all the others followed, trying not to maintain eye contact with Jaehee
  • She slid in the booth across from your son and had a lengthy discussion about what was wrong for people to say
  • Jaehee had had enough in her life getting treated awfully, so your kid wasn’t allowed to have any of that
  • That night, you had to talk her out of fighting that kid
  • “Jaehee, that’s assault” “MC, it’s justice

Seven:

  • He was dicking around with the security system at your kid’s school
  • It’s not stalking if its not obsessive
  • The system’s visual aspect may not be strong, but the audio was pretty okay
  • Seven just wanted to hear what your child was doing after the bell had rung (I had to look up if it was rung or rang just now)
  • As soon as he heard what a person was saying that was most definitely not your child, he was ready to f i g h t
  • Your kid came back from school that day and went to greet him
  • He may or may not have turned around in an office chair dramactically
  • “So who’s Jun Ho? He sounds like a real biiiii-I mean, jerkwad” “How do you know who he is? He’s in one of my classes.” “Some teacher emailed me saying he was being rude to you. Making remarks on your appearance or something” “Oh, yeah, he does that a lot. It stopped bugging me awhile ago”
  • Red Alert: How About No?
  • “He shouldn’t be saying things like that in the first place. Why do you even talk to him?” “Jun Ho gives me food” “As much as I love food, you should never be degraded to get it” “But it’s soda, and I can’t take that to school” “You won’t get in trouble if no one finds out. That’s besides the point. Can you please drop that douuu-um, that trashcan? You don’t deserve to be told anything that’s negative about yourself that isn’t constructive”
  • Your kid just tried to assure him that It’s Fine, Dad but it most definitely Was Not
  • So then he went into every social media account he could find of Jun Ho’s and left some lovely messages and photos for the kid to find later

Jumin:

  • you know this motherfucker sent your kid to a private school
  • He didn’t realize that not every person would be magically nice to eachother
  • Just let him believe
  • Jumin was content with that for awhile until The Incident
  • Your son was walking back into your home as he was video chatting people at a party
  • For some reason, their conversation dropped off to what sports people were playing and some dumbass in the background made a rude remark to your kid
  • Jumin walked over and took the phone from your son’s hand and got the attention of the teenagers
  • holy shit, that was the dude that their parents made those important business deals with
  • that suit is probably worth more than all my organs
  • damn, he looks like he’s about ready to fail all of us in a class
  • Please refrain from ever contacting this phone ever again. Your words are unappreciated by myself”
  • Your son was desperately trying to mute him repeating that it was all okay
  • Jumin was still drilling these kids
  • “Furthermore, it is not any of your business to inquire about an individual’s health whatsoever. I will have you make good note that everything in this household is meticulously organized, so no, you’re not ‘concerned for his health’ or any other excuse that is as incompetent as yourselves. Have a good evening”
  • Sassy Jumin snapping that hang up button
  • Then he held out the phone to your son that took it nervously
  • “You’re never to speak to them again” “Dad, I-” “No, it is absolutely not fine. You will not be told that just because you’re not of the bare minimum weight, that you are any less of a human being. You are to be respected. If you are to speak to any of your classmates, please inform them that all business deals with their families will end soon.”
  • He most definitely called all of their parents that evening to tell them of these changes
  • Blocked every number he could
  • Also made sure that any future advertisements that were made by any department were to be inclusive of plus-size models

V:

  • There was a new museum and he was invited to attend it’s opening with his family
  • No way this Cotton Candy Man could say no when your daughter got excited at the mention of an artist she loved that was to have an exhibit showcased
  • Everyone had gotten dressed up for the occasion, including V in a snazzy I’m so sorry that I use that word suit, yourself in comfortable formal wear, and your daughter wearing a tighter blouse with a skirt
  • What she wore didn’t bug you or Jihyun, whatever made her the most loving to herself was fine by you
  • The three of you had walked in and were walking around to greet other guests and enjoy hors d'oeuvres
  • Your daughter walked off to admire the paintings until who you recognized as one of her fellow students walked up to her
  • There was no use in eavesdropping so you continued to walk as V walked into the room of the pieces
  • He honestly didn’t notice them until he could hear your child’s voice
  • Then he noticed what the other party was saying
  • Calm Dad walked over to them and apologized for his interruption in the conversation to tell off the student for what they were saying about your daughter’s outfit
  • “Hey, Dad, Mi Na wasn’t bothering me” “Then she was bothering me. Mi Na, please refrain from speaking negatively about my daughter’s appearance in the future. I assure you that whatever clothing she wishes to wear will not effect you”
  • You looked over to see the “Bitch, you ain’t shit” smile on his face and got interested to see what was going on
  • He explained to you the situation then spoke to your daughter again with a short lecture on Why She Was Perfect and Why People Suck
  • Got the girl kicked out from the museum afterwards
  • To make it up, even though “It was fINE, DAD,” V was able to get artwork from the artist your daughter was so excited to see

Saeran:

  • this one’s going to do with an ice cream parlor I’m sorry
  • He agreed to go on a family outing as long as the crowds weren’t too big
  • Hey, if you made it this far, don’t mess it up
  • To his favorite ice cream parlor first!
  • None of you cared if it was eleven am
  • It was always time for ice cream
  • While you three were waiting in line, your child noticed that the person scooping was the dickbag of an upperclassman that had been harassing them for a couple of weeks
  • Saeran noticed how they acted and offered to get a table with them so that it would fit into conversation easily
  • They nodded and went with them so that he could ask what happened
  • Your kid told him that the boy at the counter was giving him shit for his weight and that “It’s perfectly fine”
  • Then Saeran was p i s s e d
  • He assured them that they were perfectly fine as long as they liked themselves
  • Saeran then offered for them to go back in the line where you were ordering your food
  • Your child was slightly anxious as to what he’d do to the worker
  • He glared at that upperclassman so strongly that you thought he had killed Saeran’s joy in life
  • Considering how much Saeran loved his new family, he pretty much did, so the kid deserved to be scared for half a minute
  • He then smiled at you when you handed a cone to him and you sat down with the three of you eating happily
  • Saeran noticed the glances he was getting but didn’t mind them
  • He glared at the kid again for good measure when he held open the door

I’m sorry that this took me so long! Also, no offense if your name is Nancy or Bethany. They’re just my go to PTA Mom names. I’m going to try to get at least two requests up each day. I hope that this was to your satisfaction, but I’ll happily fix anything if you see fit. Much love to you all!

Part 1/?

There is only one person you had your eyes on ever since you started high school, and he will never be yours. Not now, not ever. Your feet are grounded to the floor, just as the game ended as you watched his girl wearing jersey running up to him for a hug, and slowly you felt your heart begin to shatter.

You could see him smiling as his hands were wrapped around her waist, securely and filled up to joy as she screamed happily for the final football game. Your school won by a landslide, by him running toward the end goal in victory, pandemonium breaking out from the bleachers as the other team lost. But you’re here, not having the enjoyment of the win  or any of the excitement as you watch the couple. He’s swinging her around in his arms, laughing with his honey sweet voice and kissing her from her forehead and her cheeks, her lips, her nose, from the ecstasy he’s experiencing. That was when your first heartbreak destroyed you, ruining your weak heart, and the first time you felt like crushed diamonds and broken into pieces.

Kim Taehyung will never be yours.

“You’re the only good thing that i have” – Justin Foley x Reader.

Summary: Focus on the last chapter of the serie, specifically when Justin and his “stepfather” discuss and he throws him out of the house, without the boy’s mother saying anything else. This one shot is focused on the topic of friendship rather than something romantic, what happens after, it‘s left to the imagination of the reader.

Your name: submit What is this?

The smell of butter coming from the kitchen and the sound of the microwave, causes my mouth to water. Finally, whenever I started making popcorn, those three minutes made me eternal. I was amused as I emptied the contents of the bag into a bowl, then I bent down to take out a pot of salsa. Yes it was going to be a great night; I didn’t agree if I thought it sarcastically, or it was true, considering that most of my nights on a Friday were the same. An exhaustive date between Netflix and me; But this evening would be special and not because I expected someone, but because I would have a home alone and could set the television to the highest volume if it hit me. I’m so funny! I laughed at myself as I packed up my supplies on the coffee table. Out of the corner of my eye, I watched Mom go downstairs as she finished putting on her earrings; Dad left his study.

“Are you sure you want to be alone, dear?” I turned to see my mother. “You can join us. They adore you”

I chuckled.

“Because I was a little girl, Mom, now I don’t think they found me so funny unless I let them pinch my cheeks … and that won’t happen.” I pointed to her without erasing my smile. I slammed down on the couch and watched my parents get together.

“Why don’t you call one of your friends?” My father said.

“Because they must be in some party. Besides, I don’t have so many friends.” Me and my smile between teasing and trying to be kind. Sometimes I thought my parents didn’t know me at all.

“You didn’t want to go to the party?”

“Not really. Mom, Dad, I’m perfectly fine with staying here.” I raised my arms.

“And Justin?” I didn’t miss the way the man made a face. What father would like his daughter to be home alone with a boy? Even if that boy was my best friend?

“Probably with Jessica.” I smiled.

I knew Justin Foley since childhood, our parents were friends, or at least my mom was for Justin’s mother, then she started to change and finally they ended up moving away. My friendship with the basketball player didn’t flinch and we got along better than ever, except that I should share him constantly with his girlfriend, I didn’t uncomfortable, however, I also got along well with her, but I knew perfectly when I was doing a bad third and when not.

“Seriously, I’m fine; I won’t share my popcorn with anyone.” I looked at them with feigned adoration.“ You’re going to be late with your friends. Adiós

The little bottle of popcorn lay empty on the coffee table, just like my soda, while I stared at the series on the television. I found it interesting to put myself upside down on the couch, wanting to avoid the boredom I had been having for three hours with my eyes on the TV. It would probably be a good idea to go to sleep, but I wasn’t even sleepy. I had no stories to look at at Snapchat and Instagram, for I had already seen all of them. There was nothing good to do and a part of me regretted not having gone even a while to the party, mocking a few, talking to other people and maybe dancing. I’d be back before my parents came back, but they wouldn’t be back for more than two hours, I wouldn’t have time to do some of those things if I left right now, unless I decided to show up in my pretty pajamas.

I paused the series in progress and stood up taking the junk. I washed, dried them and settled in their respective places. I took a few chocolates from Mom, I knew that she would realize that it were missing two, but that it gave more, I felt like a lot. I returned to the room where I dropped into the sofa and took my phone entering Facebook, almost all my “friends” posted photos of the party, I thought I would find some Justin or Jessica but neither of them had posted anything since hours. I shuddered away from my head what those two might be doing. I left the application and before I blocked it, I got a call from Zach Dempsey. I answered.

“What’s up, Zach?”

“Have you heard from Justin?” He asked in a serious tone.

I frowned and sat on the couch looking at my chocolate, wanting to take the wrapper off with one hand. I focused on the background sound on the other side of the line, i could hear a distant noise that could be the TV, but no music. I was surprised that he wasn’t at the party.

“No. Why?”

“He was calling me a couple of hours ago”

“And … why didn’t you answer?” I shrugged, then chewed my chocolate.

I heard him sigh.

“It’s complicated, Y/N”

“Ok … what’s going on?”

“He didn’t tell you?”

“Is there something he need to tell me?” Okay, now I was confused.

Lately I had noticed the guys acting too strange, they all seemed to be alert, scared, worried, even the face of my best friend seemed increasingly exhausted, repentant, lost and even careless. I still didn’t skip the time when he missed class two days and didn’t show up at the team presentation, when I tried to talk to him, he had told me that he just gave him a stomach infection. I didn’t swallow it, since, after that, it was when the change began. And not only did they look that way, I was even present when Clay Jensen got out of control and accused all of us from causing people to commit suicide, or to speak more clearly, of Hannah Baker. Of course it was a sack that I didn’t have flat, in my life, I dealt with that girl, I only learned of her suicide because it became viral in high school. The only thing i knew about her was that she dated for a very short time with Justin, until his “dear” friend Bryce came up to take his phone and roll the photo my best friend had taken from the poor girl. In conclusion, everyone acted as if at any moment a policeman was behind them with a pair of handcuffs. And I didn’t understand why, and when I asked, they made sure to change the subject, so I just stopped insisting that everyone take care of their life. What if it hurt, was that my own best friend seemed less and less trusting me.

“I just wanted to know if you’d heard of him, Y/N, I see no. I’ll see you Monday”

“Zach” I stopped his intention to cut the call. He waited in silence “If he calls you, you talk to me, please”

“Yes”

After his answer I let him hang me. I leaned one end of the phone on my lips as I thought. I couldn’t know for sure where Justin was, doubted that at home, considering that he had told me that his mother had returned with that imbecile, but neither knew where he could have gone and less in his lost and constantly nervous state. The truth is, that lately, Justin Foley seemed a complete stranger in front of me, was no longer the same funny and carefree boy that I had gotten used to and that filled me with impotence when I thought about him, I was supposed to be one of the People who knew him the most, but, how to help him if he wouldn’t let me in? How to help him if i didn’t even know why he is submerged in constant misery? Didn’t he trust me as much as I thought? But if we told ourselves everything!

I sighed and quickly dialed Jessica’s number. I don’t know why I didn’t call him directly, maybe it was because I was scared to know him in trouble or that he would move away, again, and deny my help, but I would come to him even though he hated me for intervening.

At the third bell, she answered.

“I can’t talk now, Y/N” Jessica was crying?

“Are you okay?” I stood up from the impression. What the hell had happened now? “Jessica, talk to me”

“It’s nothing, Y/N, anyway, you don’t know anything” Sharpened her voice and I was offended “Also, why do you want to comfort me? Your best friend is someone else”

“Did Justin do something to you? I wanted to know if you were with him” she didn’t need me, well, I would just ask her the reason for my call and hang up.

“He was here, yes, and I hope I don’t have him around anymore,” she shouted.

“Jessica…”

But for the second time in the night, I was left alone with the phone in my ear. I went to Justin’s contact and undoubtedly called, but his phone jumped right into the mailbox almost immediately. This asshole had rejected my call. I locked the phone and dropped it on my side. I got tired of trying to help my friends somehow, no one seemed to want to trust me and Jessica had treated me badly. I snorted and rested my elbows on my knees as well as my chin in my hands. What kind of friends had I got? They brought something and completely excluded me from that. Now Justin and Jessica, what problem in paradise now existed? I had never heard her so aggressive and with so much hatred towards my friend, something very big had to happen between them and I was worried, for both of them, at least I knew that Jess was apparently good, but where the hell was the boy? When I discovered and found him, i would give him a good blow.

At least the boredom had passed and I had something to occupy my mind. A case that had no clue and I didn’t even know how to find them.

My phone lit up and I picked it up quickly. Justin’s name lay in the middle of the screen with a new message, I opened it as fast as the artifact allowed me.

I’m outside your house, can you go out for a moment?

I looked at one of the windows, until that moment I had noticed that it had begun to rain. I bit my lip and got to my feet leaving the phone on the couch. Going out in my pajamas was too much, considering that it was urgent to see that my friend was perfectly well, then I would take him to drag him all over the block, to worry me about this way. I took my jacket and my keys and opened the door, there, in the middle of my garden, was my best friend, drenched, hands in his pockets, his sports bag hanging from his body and staring into mine. His appearance looked just like the last few weeks when we had barely spoken, now we were in front of the other and even though i hated to admit it, i felt really uncomfortable.

I spit it out and ended up leaving the house and going into the rain. I slowly descended the porch steps and walked toward it, leaving a considerable distance between the two. Immediately I noticed his swollen eyes, he had been crying and it hurt me that i didn’t know anything about his new, almost permanent condition. I crossed my arms waiting for him to start talking. Neither of us seemed to disturb the rain.

“I know I’ve been pushing you away for a long time.” I raised my eyebrows. He continued, “And I’m so sorry, Y/N, you’re my best friend, I didn’t want to see you getting muddled in this mess; I needed an escape, know that there was still something good and that was you”

“An escape from what, Justin? Your way of acting lately … and that of everyone else? ”

“It’s more complicated than it seems. I didn’t want to tell you, because …”

“You know what? I know that things have gone very bad, and now you come to tell me that you argued with Zach and then you ended up with Jessica, then you remember that at last you have a best friend who cares about you and you come to use it as a cloth of tears” I had been affected by all this, and right now I realized that.

“What?”

“Zach called me a while ago, he told me you called him and he didn’t answer” Justin looked down “Then I called Jessica … who practically sent me to hell for being your so-called best friend. So I guess you’re just coming in to let off steam about that, that’s your problem, Foley.”

“I wish that was just my problem.” He approached me. “I’m an imbecile, Y/N, and that’s why I’ve been losing my friends slowly, even to my girlfriend, Jessica doesn’t want to know about me anymore. I know that if you knew what was happening, right now we wouldn’t be talking outside your house”

“And risking hypothermia” I said “Let’s go in” I suggested.

“Don’t. It will be easier here, you won’t have to ask me to leave you alone”

“What are you talking about, Justin?” I retreated “Who the hell did you kill to act like that?”

“I don’t want to lose you, Y/N”

“You know something? You really are missing out on me. For weeks I tried to help you without knowing what is happening to you, but you throw me away, you tell me not to worry when it is impossible not to do it, and even reject my calls. Now you come here, with me, telling me all this, because I bet, you no longer have anyone else. I’m your last choice, aren’t I?”

I was going to march to lock myself in my house, but he stopped me.

“I didn’t want to come to you!” I looked at him wounded “I didn’t want to do it because I didn’t want to poison you in this hunt” I was about to protest but he silenced me “You’re good, impeccable and graceful. Since the beginning of all this I have needed you desperately, I know that your words will always lift me, but to listen to them you need to know the truth. And I’m not sure you want to hear it”

“Talk about a goddamn time, Foley” I hissed.

“I’m sorry that you’re going to change the perspective you have on me. You have been a true friend to me”

Justin took my hand and took me to take shelter on the porch of my house, was seriously the fact that he didn’t want to enter. My friend had really done something wrong and now I wasn’t so sure I wanted to hear it.

“You remember Jessica’s party.” he started a little nervous. I nodded, how could I forget that party? My neighbor and also friend, Jeff Atkins, had died that night. “She and I were drunk … too”

“I know. I saw you” I murmured.

“We went to her room.” He paused, his eyes filled with tears. “But she was almost unconscious to go on with what we were planning …”

“Justin” I felt breathless.

“I did nothing but lay her down on her bed and cover her with a sheet. She fell asleep and my intention was to take care of her until she felt better.” I nodded following the thread of his story. “When I left her room I stayed at her door for a long time” He took a breath. "Then Bryce appeared, he was drugged and began to insist In that he wanted to enter the room, I told him that Jess was in there very badly. I wasn’t going to let him in.” I covered my mouth as I felt my heartbeat increase. “He manipulated me and entered the room, when I realized what would happen, I tried to remove him, but he pushed me out of the room and closed the door securely …”

“Stop it!” I practically screamed and closed my eyes. I could imagine what had happened then and now I understood why Jessica was crying and her sudden hatred of Justin. My head started to spin.

“I’m sorry” he sobbed.

I looked at him.

“It’s been weeks since that … And you barely spoke?” I chuckled, consumed with horror. Poor Jessica.

Then he explained me that it wasn’t by his will that he had to tell his girlfriend about what happened that night, she didn’t even know it, instead he brainwashed her with lies. Justin began to tell me that it had all started by tapes that Hannah Baker had left after her death, or rather, it came to them after. In these tapes, she explained the reasons why she decided to end her life and in each one spoke about someone specific and the actions they did against her and that led her to cut their veins and bleed in the tub. In one of those tapes, Hannah explained that she was in that room where Bryce Walker had raped Jessica Davis. At least those were Justin’s words.

“I think I’m going to vomit” I mumbled, looking away. “So … Is that why they’re acting like someone is going to kill them? On those tapes Hannah talks about you … about Zach, Jessica, Bryce, and how many more?” Justin nodded.

“I was the first … because of that damn photo that Bryce took”

“God, Justin, why didn’t you tell me?” He blinked confused.

“Are you not upset with me?”

“Of course I am! You’re an idiot and I shouldn’t forgive you! But it hurts me more than you haven’t trusted me”

“Like I said, I didn’t want to poison you with this. I didn’t want to lose you”

“Is that why you’re outside of your house at this hour?”

“Losing my girlfriend, a friend and now my best friend” He pointed at me “It’s not the only bad thing that happened to me this day”

“What else happened to you?”

“My mother’s boyfriend threw me out of the house after reading a summons”

“A summons?”

“Because of Hannah, they found evidence that points us … and well” He shrugged “I have nowhere to stay, they all turned their back on me, I know Bryce won’t do it but I don’t want to see him. Anyway, I’m sorry, Y/N, thank you for being my best friend”

He went down the steps of my house. I almost let him go but I snorted. At first i didn’t intervene because i knew nothing and he didn’t tell me, but now that he had done it, i couldn’t ignore our years of friendship and that he has always supported me. He will be an accomplice to a very serious crime, but i couldn’t bear to know that he was wandering the streets all night.

“Hey, idiot” I called him. He turned.

I walked resolutely toward him and hugged him. I wasn’t going to belong to that group that turned their back on him, because I wasn’t like them. I hadn’t done anything wrong and I wanted Justin, not to help him bother me for the rest of the night and maybe for the rest of my life in this place.

Onision’s Track Record: Underage Girls

In light of recent events, here is a post detailing Greg’s relationships with underage girls. Getting in trouble with the legal age of consent is nothing new to Greg and something he has a lot of experience defending himself for. I hope this sheds some light to the current situation with his forums and exploiting his underage fans.

Shiloh

Shiloh explicitly states that Greg violated the Mann Act, which is essentially a federal law claiming that it is illegal to transport women/girls across state lines for sexual acts. People are still prosecuted to this date for violating this law, a pastor was recently convicted in 2012 for transporting a minor to a state with a lower age of consent to have sex with her. Which is the exact same thing Greg had done multiple times with Shiloh.

In this screenshot, Shiloh recounts her abusive relationship with Greg again but with more details into his warped sexual fantasies. Near the end Shiloh mentions how young she was when she was taken advantage of and announces her fear that Taylor could experience the same abuse. She makes a point to mention her age being the same as Taylor’s when they began their relationship with Greg.

Taylor

Greg knowingly entered a relationship with Taylor while she was underage and attending high school. Greg met with lawyers frequently to confirm the legality of their relationship, while Taylor’s father objected that it was illegal in his opinion. The age of consent in New Mexico being 17. Greg and Taylor met only 10 days making contact online and had sex the first day they met in person. Greg obviously does not take issue with having sexual relationships with minors. Greg also married Taylor secretly from her parents only a month after turning 18! Which doesn’t seem totally underhanded and sketchy at all! /s

Side Note:

Billie joined their relationship in the end of 2015/early 2016 when she was 18 years old. Age of consent in Billie’s home state, Virginia, is 18. I find it curious that Greg seems to carefully check the laws before pursuing anything. He’s aware he is doing something morally wrong and knows he can get into some legal shit if he isn’t careful.

Also here is a screenshot of Taylor patronizing Billie for her age even though she was even younger when she got with Greg.

Greg like to harp on to the fact that a lot of his criticizers seem to point out the fact that he’s been in multiple questionable relationships with minors, and still feels like he hasn’t done anything wrong. The fact that this has happened not once, but twice shows his true intentions when it comes to children. Greg likes to forget the fact that teenagers are still children.

His Audience in General

OnisionDrama made a great post outlining Greg’s target demographic and why YouTube analytics aren’t exactly a valid reference when trying to determine the average age of an Onision fan. I know personally I lied about my age online from the time I was 12-17, which is the exact age range of Greg’s followers. Here we have multiple polls from 2012-2016 showing the majority of fans are indeed minors. Which is why most of the girls featured in his “body positivity” videos are underage.

Here is a poll from Taylor as well, showing most of their shared demographic being under 16 years old.

Sarah

Sarah is a friend of Taylor’s. They began talking when she was 14. After her sixteenth birthday, Greg and Taylor started housing her officially. She moved in with them around Halloween 2016 and has been there since. The age of consent is 16 in Washington. Notice how once again, Greg calculated the perfect time to move her in after she became legal.

Miscellaneous  Notes

It’s been speculated that Greg privately emailed Robert Casio to defend his actions and offered verbal support. Robert Casio being a convicted sex criminal after impregnating a 13 year-old child. Casio uploaded this video thanking Greg for his kind words of encouragement, but only referred to him by his first name and not his online persona as to prevent public backlash.

AntiSouthernMovement being a well-known second alias of Greg, left this comment showing his support of a convicted sex felon. SG also did a video calling Greg out which has more details of the situation.

What I feel to be pretty damning against Onision’s case of “dindu nuffin wrong” was the email scandal that happened in 2013. Someone sent Greg an email claiming to be a model/actress that would like to collaborate sometime, she mentioned being 17 years old, and attached a topless photo. Greg then pursued and asked for her facebook for more pictures and to communicate further. After this came out to the public, Greg began the process of covering his own ass at first by saying “I didn’t see her age!” then later changing it to “I never opened the attachment!”.

Another piece of damning evidence is how much Greg has announced that he isn’t a therapist. He has no desire to help his followers.

He never wanted to offer guidance to his audience. He dismissed and out right ignored any fans emailing him for help/advice. But now he has changed his tune since it’s more convenient for him to act like his videos are therapy for those who need it, rather than admitting he was asking for pictures of minors’ bodies.

It’s also important to note context. Greg says the photos are harmless and nothing you wouldn’t see in a public swimming pool. The context of underwear though is that is IS private. Swimwear serves an obvious purpose for being comfortable clothing specially to swim in. Underwear’s purpose is to protect your genitals, it is meant for privacy, to be worn underneath clothing. The hard difference between the two is obvious, swimwear is public, while underwear is private.

So understand that photos of underage girls alone in their room, posing in bra and panties, will always been seen in a sexual context.

So what we can gather from all of the above is:

  1. Greg has no issues being in sexual relationships with minors. As long as it’s barely within the legal limits, he has no moral opposition to dating children.
  2. Greg invites minors into his life and supports relationships with minors even as young as 13.
  3. Greg is aware of his demographic’s age and takes advantage of their naivety for sexually themed photographs of minors.
  4. Greg never intended his “body positivity” videos to be helpful. Greg never had any intentions on helping his fans.
  5. Greg is not qualified to comment on the health of developing girls’ bodies. Greg has no medical certifications nor any experience in the medical field. This includes therapy.
  6. Greg somehow doesn’t understand that you legally can’t make money from minors’ images without parental consent. Minors cannot legally consent without their parents permission.
  7. No matter how many excuses Greg comes up with, there’s no way he can talk himself out of being a hebephile piece of trash.

Namjoon…

This would be brought up when you two had those late nights where you were just talking in bed, holding one another in your arms. You would have been wanting to tell him for a while, but never really knew how to bring up such a difficult topic. So eventually you just decided to go for it, and spilled out those dreaded five words ‘My first time wasn’t consensual.’ He would tense up, you could feel it underneath you, but you wanted to get the story out, so you continued talking about that horrible night when your boyfriend took your innocents. He would be an exceptional listener. He wouldn’t interrupt you, and would tighten his hold on you at those key moments where he could only imagine how terrified you were. Afterwards he would kiss your forehead and remind you that none of it was your fault and that he loved you regardless. The rest of the night his hold on you would be strong and firm as you both fell into a comforting sleep listening to one another’s heartbeat.

Jin…

You would be sharing your deepest secrets with one another while cuddling on the couch while eating a snack that he had made for you both. You would be leaning your head on his shoulder, playing with your fingers when you spoke about your worst and most feared secret. He would wrap an arm around you, becoming concerned for you. He would listen intently, but at the end he would ask necessary questions, not wanting to pry, but wanting to make sure that you are safe and cared for. But he would be incredibly proud that you had made it out of something like that and are still the bright and caring person he fell in love with today.

Jin: “Did you tell the police?”

Jin: “Did you lose contact with him?”

Jin: “You haven’t heard from him since then, right?”

Yoongi…

You would both be out when you saw your ex in a book store. You would find Yoongi who was looking through books and would ask him quietly if you could leave. Sensing your discomfort and urgency he would follow you out the door of the book store without question. After finding a nice park, you two would sit down on a bench and he would ask what happened. You would hesitate, but eventually explain to him how your ex took your first time without consent. This would be one of those rare moments where Yoongi would show you skinship. He wasn’t one to show much affection, and so his hugs and hand holds meant a lot to you. He would feel there is a deeper connection with you knowing you had a broken past, slightly like his own. He would feel horrible though, that such a bright person like you had to go through that, and he would become much more tender towards you. It wouldn’t be noticeable to you or others, but he would find himself doing things towards you with much more love and affection and meaning than he did before. Like holding your hand under the table when out to a business dinner, or even in the smallest things, like you would say you need some water during movie night, and Yoongi would stand and say he needed some too, so he would get it for you, when in actuality he didn’t need water. It hurt him to know what you had been through, and therefore he would make it his mission to give you the exact opposite of what your previous relationship had been.

J-Hope…

You would be sitting on your bed looking through an old photo album with J-Hope. He had asked to see what you were like in middle school and younger. However, there were pictures of your early high school days, and that was when you were with your now ex boyfriend. J-Hope pointed to the picture of you, your friends and your ex that was sitting next to you with his arm around your shoulders. J-Hope decided to joke about it and smiled, and asked, “Ah, who’s that? Your high school crush?” He laughed, looking to you with a huge smile. You tried to smile back and simply shrug it off, simply saying, “No, that was my boyfriend.” You would close the photo album, deciding that you wanted to end that conversation. However, J-Hope would sense your change in mood and gently hold onto your wrist and pull you back down next to him when you tried to walk away. “Hey, what’s going on? You okay? Did I say something?” You would hesitate, and so J-Hope would speak up again. “Talk to me Jagi.” You would give in when you saw the love and concern shining in his eyes. You would explain the horrid thing your ex had done, and for the first time, J-Hope wouldn’t have anything to say. His bright smile fading and his heart aching at what he was hearing. He wouldn’t know what to say, not wanting to bring back your memories, worried it would hurt you more, and also not wanting to say anything that might be wrong or mistaken as insensitive. He would simply pull you in for a big warm hug while he strokes the back of your head, whispering sweet and comforting words.

Jimin…

You would be play fighting with Jimin on the couch, he wanted to watch something, but you wanted to watch a different show, so in attempt to get the remote, a play fight had broken loose. He would have his hand on your hip while pinning you to the couch underneath him while you stretched your hand above your head while holding the remote and Jimin tried to reach it while leaning over you. His hand would have accidentally pushed up your shirt, right where you had a scar from your ex when he was forcefully taking your innocents on the horrid day. He wouldn’t have noticed but you would have, and would be distracted with trying to push your shirt back down, and with that Jimin got the remote. “Ah, sorry about your shirt…” He would blush and reach down to pull it back down for you, but in the process seeing the two inch long scar along your hip. “Where’d that come from?” He’d ask, thinking it was something innocent like falling off a bike, not what you were about to explain. You would decide that sooner or later he would need to know, so, taking the chance, you spoke about it. After hearing what you had gone through Jimin would pull you in for a hug, to show you that despite your dark past, he still loved you with every inch of his heart. But he would also pull you in for a hug because he wouldn’t want you to see the anger that was etched into his facial features. He was generally a happy and kind person, but hearing what you had gone through he would have pure red-hot anger and hatred for your ex. He would spend the rest of the day keeping you by his side and tending to your every need, filled with the sudden need for you to know how much he loves you.

Taehyung…

You would be playing a truth game with Tae, before bed, this being a routine that he had come up with, wanting to know everything about you down to the most random things, that was how much he loved and cherished you. He would have asked about your relationship with your first boyfriend, and a dark silence would have followed. “Y/N?” He would have called out, turning to look at you, thinking you might have fallen asleep, but seeing as you hadn’t he would ask what was wrong. You would admit that your ex had hurt you, and so it was a painful memory. “I’m sorry Y/N. You don’t need to tell me… If you don’t want to. I’ll understand-” “No Tae, you told me about your past, I want you to know mine… But it’s not the pettiest.” You admit. Tae would give you a reassuring smile. “None of us have clean cut pasts, that’s the beauty of humans.” He replies, and you know right then, you fall even more in love with him. You open your mouth, and the words tumble out. You start with the beginning of that nightmare of a day, all the way until the next morning when you left your ex’s house crying your eyes out. When you’re done, you finally raise your eyes to see Tae watching you with a blank expression. “Is he in jail?” He would ask, monotone, a voice that sends chills down your spine. “N-no… He’s not. I’ve never told anyone the story until now.” “Tomorrow, I want to take you to the police station and you’ll tell them. He needs to be locked up.” You shake your head. “Tae, that was years ago, I don’t even know where he lives.” “I don’t care, I’m not gonna stop until he’s found, I’ll even use the fans for help if I need to. You know what they’re capable of? I bet in two hours if I were to ask them to find your ex they would have found him. With Army out there looking for him, he wouldn’t be safe.” He speaks giving you a devious smirk. You don’t know whether to be appreciative or worried. But all you do know is that you’re glad he was the first one to know and accept your past. “Let’s start with the police okay? We don’t need a man hunt all over Korea. That’ll just get your fans in trouble.”

Jungkook…

You would be baking with Kookie when suddenly something reminds you of your ex. You freeze in while in the motion of stirring the cookie dough. You wouldn’t know how many seconds would pass until Kookie comes up next to you, placing a hand on your shoulder. “Y/N?” You would snap out of your daydream and continue stirring, telling him it’s nothing. However, though you two haven’t been together long, he would know something was up. He would take the bowl and spoon from your hands gentle, asking you to tell him what happened. You wouldn’t want to scare him away, but you knew how stubborn he was, especially when it came to you holding things back from him. So you would open your mouth and explain to him your recent past, considering you were a year younger than him, and were dating your ex just last year. After you explain to him of your memories, Kookie would simply stand there in silence before smiling softly at you and brushing a stand of hair from your face. “I’m sorry you went through that Y/N, but I’m really thankful you told me.” He would explain how he’s nothing like your ex, and would then take precautions when around you. He would make sure that his movements and actions towards you, whether physically or emotionally, wouldn’t remind you of your ex, wanting you to feel safe around him.

all life is strange ship prompts

Most of these prompts I’ve basically discarded or they’ve already been written, but I have many prompt ideas so here’s small little ideas for you guys (Sorry, I’m Pricefield trash so there’s a ton of those, but please send me your story so I can read them if you do use one of these ideas please because I like reading new life is strange fanfics):

Pricefield:
- “We experimented over wine-tasting sessions as kids, but now we’re adults meeting each other for the first time in five years and oh my god is that sexual tension between us?”
- “I’m terrified of men because of something that happened in the past, and Rachel and Chloe are trying to make me feel comfortable with Warren but I’m slowly realizing that it’s not Warren that my eyes have been focused on.”
- “Warren keeps asking me to the drive-in so I asked my best friend Chloe for advice, so now we’re fake dating but I think I’m really getting used to this idea.”
- “This punk girl keeps on coming to the homeless shelter at the same time each week purchasing a shit ton of water bottles, canned chili, and loaves of bread with money that comes from God-knows-where but holy shit, she’s actually royalty whose parents are trying to keep her name under wraps.”
- “I recited one of my poems at a poetry slam about my childhood best friend, turns out she was there listening to my every word and now I’m humiliated.”
- “I dared Max to kiss me, but her nose started bleeding and I can tell she’s rewinded more than once and she just told me not to pull back because apparently, that’s what’s going to happen.”
- “Max and I are at her Seattle home, and I just discovered a treehouse her Dad built for her. I’m sorry, Ryan, I’m using this opportunity alone with your daughter to try and seduce her.”

Marshfield:
- “One of the pieces you played on the violin is something I recognized, and you anonymously (even though I know it was you) slid a tape under the door of that piece on Valentines day.”
- “It started raining on our tea date, so we ran inside the cafe with our clothes dripping wet but wow, Kate, you’re so cute with your hair pulled out of the bun.”
- “Max has been taking photos for the children’s book I’m writing and one of the photos she took was of the sunset with a sweet quote on it and I think I’m blushing.”
- “We decided to skip class, and we went to the park with Alice in the middle of the day and wow, Max’s smile is so beautiful. Am I really thinking this?”
- “After Max saved me off that rooftop, all I’ve been thinking about is how much she’s supported me over the past month and a half she’s known me and according to google, I have a crush on Max.”

Chasefield:
- “I’ve been talking to this girl online and turns out, she’s just like me and I’m starting to dig her. Turns out when I meet her, she’s one of the girls I personally resent.”
- “I ended up saving your ass from getting eaten by a crocodile while we’re camping but I still hate you. Okay, so maybe that’s not the case. What’s it to you?”
- “Even though you’re trouble, you still invited me to your celebration banquet after getting one of your photos in your parents gallery and we seem to get along just fine when we genuinely talk to each other. Wait, are you flirting with me now?”
- “We accidentally hooked up in the middle of a party involving a shit ton of alcohol and now I’m trying to figure out how to approach you about it. Turns out, you were pretty sober during the party and you weren’t exactly rejecting my advances.”
- “You were holding my arms while I rewinded to try and erase the argument we just had, but turns out my rewind power doesn’t work on you, and now you’re freaking out asking me what the fuck is going on but at least we’re on good terms now, right? I’m now this God-like person to you, and now you’re scared yet intrigued by me.”

Grahamfield:
- “So maybe the drive-in didn’t help us progress in our relationship, but we definitely managed to hook up after an experiment gone wrong.”
- “We’re graduating out of Blackwell Academy, and I didn’t expect to blush furiously and freeze onstage when you blew a kiss in my direction.”
- “I’m tutoring you in chemistry since you’re not doing too great in it, turns out there’s only one type of chemistry you’re interested in.”
- “I fell asleep in your dorm room during a movie marathon of Harry Potter, and I woke up to you staring at me affectionately and I’m 95% sure I’m drooling.”
- “You convinced me to head to Comic Con with you, but you’re the only one cosplaying while I’m taking a ton of pictures of your nerdy self. I think this side of you is kind of cute.”

Chaseprice:
- “I ended up blackmailing Victoria after she pulled some shit on my best friend Max, so now she’s willing to do anything I say. And I mean anything.”
- “It’s prom night, and since Nathan hates prom, I’m stuck with the single group of people which includes Chloe in a tux and wow is it getting hot in here?”
- “Stop bothering me by coming up to my dorm room and knocking on it. Oh wait, you’re actually dropping off flowers this time?”
- “Nathan, I know this is gonna sound weird but I think the blue haired girl I keep on seeing around Blackwell putting up those Rachel Amber posters is really hot. How do I approach her?”
- “Chloe keeps on pranking me, turns out she doesn’t know how to express her feelings towards me.”

Ambrice:
- “At the lighthouse, I was thinking about ending my life when you came up behind me and started a conversation with me about something stupid, but you fucking saved my life.”
- “We nearly got busted for smoking pot in the parking lot of a restaurant, but it’s okay because we were making out the majority of the time so that’s partly why I didn’t notice.”
- “After getting really high together, both of us almost got hit by a car when we realized it was parked and now we’re making out against said car.”
- “We’re at a party together playing truth or dare and someone just dared me to kiss you but wow, that’s not going to be the first time I’m going to kiss you.”
- “Both of us end up in Los Angeles, and I’m not sure what is going on but I think you’ve been more touchy-feely this trip than throughout our entire friendship.”

Caulscott (Max/Nathan):

- “I’m starting to get obsessed with this version of you because you’re changing from snoopy nerd into this untouchable badass within this entire week.”
- “After you overheard of my situation with Mr. Jefferson on accident, you secretly called the police and arrested him and I’ve never felt so relieved and happy in my life.”
- “You visited me in the hospital and gave me a hug, and instead my heart is going out to you because you really do seem to care even though I give you so much shit in school.”
- “Max has been reluctantly taking care of me while I’ve been sick since Victoria can’t do it because she’s been out of town visiting family, but she’s been so sweet to me so I don’t mind the arrangement.”
- “I recognized Nathan at the aquarium spending the majority of the time with the whales, and there was this big cheesy smile on his face that immediately grabbed my attention. Now that I’m noticing it, this is my first time seeing Nathan smile…and it’s nice.”

Chasescott:
- “Victoria keeps telling me to find a girlfriend, but is she not getting the fact that I want to date her instead? Sheesh.”
- “Both of us don’t ever bring up about how we discussed marrying each other in middle school until we both got really high together and ended up talking about that.”
- “My Dad mistakes Victoria for my girlfriend, and when she vehemently denies, for some reason, I feel upset over it and correct her surprising Victoria and myself.”
- “We’re playing Laser Tag together one night but you kissed me out of nowhere in the middle of the game, and what the fuck is our relationship now? Are we best friends? Lovers?”
- “When she asked what my type was, I accidentally made it obvious that she was my type and now she’s giving me a funny look but it doesn’t seem to be a bad look either.”

Grahamscott (Nathan/Warren):
- “You were in the locker room getting dressed, and WOW I just noticed your six pack. Why am I thinking so much over this?”
- “You’ve changed from nerdy boy to hardass, and for some reason, that’s my type? I think I’m starting to get curious about you now.”
- “We ran into each other in a gay bar, and I’ve never seen both of us look so ashamed and embarrassed in my life.”
- “I ended up in the hospital due to a really bad car accident, and you were the first person I woke up to. Apparently you slept by my bedside and didn’t leave my side once.”
- “I’ve been talking to him on grindr, but he doesn’t know that I have a crush on him. Yet.”

Hellalujah (Kate/Chloe):
- “You came up to me on campus and invited me to your Church group. Instead of being interested in that, now I’m interested in you.”
- “Alice seemed to have gotten out again and it’s raining, but the only person whose around to help is me. You’ve been coming over everyday after school after discovering I’m sick because of that to make me soup and cheer me up whoops did I mention I’m starting to have feelings for you?”
- “You’re the type of person I want to be: Free to make any decision I want, and finally I’m given that opportunity when you and I decide to smoke weed together in private and now I’m feeling pretty good about everything and you.”
- “I’m in cultural anthropology and we’re in a heated discussion about opposites attracting, yet you’re telling me they don’t but I’m going to prove to you they do.”

Amberpricefield:
- “Chloe tried to make Max breakfast since it’s her birthday and Chloe totally fucked up and burnt all the food so now we’re eating burnt toast but it’s whatever, we love Chloe anyway.”
- “I just walked in on Chloe and Rachel hooking up which got awkward really fast, and I told them to continue and I guess I joined in.”
- “We’re roadtripping but Chloe gets lost and we end up staying the night in a cabin since we’re nearby a campsite when I confess that I’ve never been kissed and both girls end up fighting over kissing me.”
- “We’re at a Halsey concert and they’re playing our song whenever both of us realize how Max is more than ready for the mosh pit.”

Pricemarshfield:

- “We decided to go food shopping, and Chloe keeps on throwing junk food into the basket but Kate keeps on putting the junk food back in when Max isn’t looking.”
- “Both me and Max come out to Kate about our relationship when she admits that she’s always been a little bicurious herself. A joke about that quickly turns serious.”
- “I just took down Kate’s viral video by going into Victoria’s youtube account, and turns out after watching it, Kate kissed a wasted Chloe. But Kate ends up being so relieved she kisses me too? So now she’s held responsible for both of us.”
- “Max brought us to the zoo and she’s torn between me wanting to see the insect exhibit and Kate wanting to stay where she is because Kate really dislikes insects so Max decides to compensate for the entire party by coming up with an idea all of us will enjoy.”

Bonus:
Frank-N-Beans:

- “As a kid, I used to hate beans but whatever these beans are, they’ve gotten me addicted to beans and now my nickname is Frank-N-Beans.”

BTS REACTION to finding you you had a wild side as a teen

Hello thank you all for sending in your requests! I’m going to get them done as fast as I can so keep a look out!

REQUESTS ARE STILL OPEN! MESSAGE ME!

Rap Monster: He would be rather amused at the fact a sweet girl like you used to have a wild side. He found out from your facebook page about your college years that your mother thought would be funny to share. He would take the information and tease you with.

“I didn’t know you had a wild side babe. Why haven’t I met her yet?”

Suga: He wouldn’t really be surprised. He knew you had a dark side he had yet to come across but now that he knows that back in the day when you were wild in high school, he’d do his best to bring it out of you even though those days were in the past. You couldn’t help but glare at your mother for showing Suga and she would just wink and leave to room.

“Come on I just want to know what it was like to party with party y/n. What do I have to do to bring her out to play with me?”

Jin: Jin would be really surprised to find out that you were once the party girl. You were such a mature person in general that it was almost hard to believe that you used to be the girl in the photos your mother was showing him. Bright colored hair, dark eye makeup, a nose ring.

“That’s not you. That can’t be you. She looks too fun to be you.”

J-Hope: Your father had brought out the old photo albums of your high school years and you knew how J-Hope would react. He would tease the hell out of you. He couldn’t help but laugh at the fact you had photos of you in a cop car after being caught underage drinking. He would tease you to the point your face turned bright red.

“She’s embarrassed! Oh honey, I know you’re not like that anymore but it’s still a funny story!”

Taehyung: He would act shocked when you told him a story about how you and your friends got into trouble for sneaking into a college party when you were in high school. Your mother would shake her head at the though of her having to come pick you up and attest to the story. Taehyung would pretend to be offended and joke about how his girl would never do that.

“The girl I know would never do that. The girl you’re talking about must not be the same girl as my girl, although I’d like to meet her.”

Jimin: I feel like Jimin’s face would get really red at the thought of you being a rebellious girl who got a tattoo at 16. He would think about the stories in a way that it didn’t actually happen but his imagine would get the best of him. Once your parents left the room, he would ask:

“Did.. Did you like- wear shirts that show it off? When can I see it?”

Jungkook: He would try really hard to imagine you as the girl your mother was talking about. Sneaking out after curfew, drinking at parties, it was so hard for him to believe. He would then get you alone and try to confirm his theories.

“Did you really do all that? Wow… And all this time I thought you would stay at home and knit on the weekend.”
