When I was heading back home from school, I found this poor butterfly who was in the middle of the road and for some reason, it couldn’t not fly (maybe because it was a little windy for the little guy) I took the butterfly in my hand and it won’t let me go! <3
;w; poor baby…sadly I had to leave it in some near tiny tree ahhhhh I hope it could fly again
hi! would you do a non-binary and genderqueer flag with pidge? thanks so much! the icons you have made so far are lovely - I love the trans-pidge one, and allura. and hunk. ah actually just all of them
So it bears repeating, but children’s TV shows have improved so much in quality since my childhood that it almost defies belief. These are comic-relief side characters. Even ten years ago, they would just be reduced to lazy cliches and punchlines, with no effort put into their characters. They’re still cliched to an extent, of course, but there’s more to them. The show could have just cast them as the clueless, needlessly violent, corrupt small town cops and left it at that, but in addition we get stuff like how they genuinely care about each other and might be in a relationship, they have actual interests outside work, they enjoy each other’s company, and apparently they’re Star Wars dorks. Kids’ shows for a long time felt lazy and uninspired, and I really appreciate the current push to actually put some effort into writing them well.

Bands of mourning wasnt great but I’m super curious about your opinions on it. I kinda felt like… Nothing happened really, like it sets up a lot of stuff too happen in the next book. I was interested in learning about the new metals but the whole thing fell sorta flat for me and the stuff with Wayne’s sister felt sort of contrived and… Unearned if that makes sense?
I might have to end up putting this behind a readmore, but I was fairly underwhelmed by it, plot-wise, and I was super disappointed by the characterizations, especially. My main complaints are that the romances for Wayne and Marasi seemed pretty awkwardly shoehorned in just for the sake of “pairing the spares”. (I think they could have worked if they’d been given more time to develop, but as it was they fell pretty flat for me)
Wayne’s characterization was SUPER disappointing for me, too, because he made a lot of overtly gross comments in BoM where before he had been fairly harmless?
Either way, it seemed a lot like BoM was really rushed and sort of existed JUST for the sake of prefacing Secret History
I feel really drained being in college, I feel I can't push forward. Is there anything that's helped you with that?
No, not really. When I felt like being lazy, I allowed myself to be lazy. I personally hate forcing anything and I’m pretty patient so…yeah. I don’t know what could possibly work for you though? I mean…you need to find what works for you. Some “new” mindset never worked for me. I always sort of…simply rolled with it even when I felt inclined rolling against it. Do I make sense? It didn’t translate as compromising myself because I didn’t let it & that was that.

I must admit, I always had a crush on Gaston, from Beauty and the Beast. Yes, he was an idiot, but I loved his character design. I imagine a world where he got over Belle and knew another girl.
The girl’s name is Claire. She is Gaston’s wife, but aversely to most girls he had known, she was strong tempered and had a silver and often viperine tongue. When he married her, he knew exactly what he was getting into. He would spend a whole hour trying to avoid her killing every single girl that dared to lay eyes on her husband.
But when she’s calm, she takes care of their house, reads to him when he gets home and enjoys teasing him until he kisses her. They do complement each other, as Gaston thinks she is the only one in the world that can compete with his beauty, and she knows he’s the only one that can make her calm and not die trying when she gets mad.
