The Truth Comes Out

“Thank god I live alone.” You grumble to yourself, thankful no one’s around to witness your behavior. You’re lazily sitting on your kitchen counter in a ridiculous onesie stuffing your face.

You twist open an Oreo, put a scoop of chocolate ice cream then add whipped cream and chocolate syrup. While singing along to the radio, you smoosh the Oreo back together and shove it into your mouth.

You’re really baffled as to why you’re not married yet. Your boyfriend would be crazy to not lock down all of this sexiness. Realizing it’s almost time for a new episode of Scandal, you make way towards the couch.

You freeze when you hear someone fumbling with the lock on your door. This is just fucking perfect. A creep is breaking into your apartment and on top of it, you’re gonna die wearing a onesie.

Witnessing a World Record - Hope & Legacy in Helsinki

I have so many thoughts and stories I want to share from the 2017 World Championships in Helsinki, but I’ll start with Yuzuru Hanyu’s world recording breaking free skate which is obviously the thing I want to talk about most! It’s been 3 days since the men’s free program and the excitement and joy still lingers and has definitely put me in a good mood even as I return to work (hopefully this will last all the way to WTT!). I have a lot to say on this so bear with me as this will be long.

After the men’s SP on Thursday I think many Yuzu fans that I met and spoke with were quite depressed and there were a lot of doom-and-gloom talks going on (would he even medal, will he take silver to Javi AGAIN, etc etc). The one thing we did say repeatedly in our conversations was that it wasn’t over yet, and that he still had a chance to win gold but he would probably need to be clean in order to do so, and that is exactly what he did.

The nervous feeling for the men’s free started up immediately after the pairs free program ended the night before, up until that point that day I was able to distract myself with the other competitions but at that point it felt imminent and real. That night in the hotel room I was stress eating instant noodles late at night (I guess Boyang likes to celebrate this way) while I wrapped up the Winnie-the-Pooh I got to toss on the ice, the gift I got for Yuzu, and wrote the card to go with it. After the SP I had stuck the little Yuzu buttons I had made on the Winnie-the-Pooh and held it as I went to sleep the next two nights, that thing really brought me some comfort over a couple of days. Each morning housekeeping would make our beds and place our Pooh bears neatly on the bed, I have to wonder what they thought of all the Poohs and toys in our hotel room!

That same night I was stress eating the noodles I remembered that I had brought a bag of Bourbon Lumonde snacks (from the “mou chotto” meme) that I happened to find at a local Daiso shop before I left home. Now, I’m not superstitious, but I had meant to eat one of the snacks before the SP for good luck - as if I was eating and making the bit that was lacking disappear. Sadly, I totally forget the bag in my hotel room the day of the SP because we left early to get a good seat to watch morning practice that day. Well, I remembered them that night and immediately dug them up and made my friend and I eat one each that night to eat away all doubts! I took the rest of the bag with me the day of the free and told my friends that we would eat ALL of the bag before Yuzu skated his free skate (and we did during the last ice resurfacing).

As the final group was preparing to get on the ice I grabbed my Hope and Legacy banner in preparation and my wrapped up Pooh bear to hold for support. As they did the skater intros Yuzu kept moving around to keep his body warm, he looked extremely focused. He started the warm-up with a nice 3Lz but then fell on a 3A which I’m sure made the audience stand on edge since he rarely fails to land his axels. Once warm-up ended I looked up at the seconds on the jumbotron to make sure he wasn’t in danger of having a time violation again, but he promptly took his place this time. Then the program began.

What happened over the next 4 minutes and 30 seconds was nothing short of magic. As he landed his 4Lo the cheers and applause erupted but were quickly silenced until he landed the following quad salchow to which we all erupted again. After each jump I would applaud as hard as I could, then quickly clutch the Pooh bear again. Once the triple flip was completed and we moved into the second half of the program it seemed like everyone in the arena held their breath as we waited for the 4S3T combo. When he landed the salchow and then the toe beautifully everyone cheered the loudest, as if we all knew this combo had plagued him in the free the entire season. The relief was short-lived as he set up for the 4T and the tension increased again, and then he proceeded to land the most beautiful 4T he’s done in the second half yet! I was stunned by how magnificent it was, but was still waiting for the axels. With each element being completed I felt the elation inside build and build, I could hardly believe what I was witnessing and I felt delirious.

As Yuzu exited his spin to begin his choreographic sequence everyone started applauding and cheering and that intensified with his hydroblade and ina bauer up until the set up for the 3Lz where it went nearly silent. Once he landed the final lutz the audience went absolutely crazy! The applause and the cheers continued until the end of the program as nearly everyone got on their feet. I remember clapping like crazy and shouting non-stop, I was so excited I was waving my banner around and jumping up and down for who-knows how long after it was over. The girl beside me was so moved she was crying, after the program we looked at each other and gave each other a hug even though we had never spoken a word to each other the entire competition. The excitement was palpable, and the audience in Helsinki was so supportive for all skaters, it really felt as if this program and this skate unified the audience and we reacted as a collective as he showed us something unbelievable. It felt as if my entire body was charged, I knew that no one would be topping that free skate that night and just hoped that it would be enough to take the title.

My seat was just above the Kiss and Cry, as Yuzu stepped off the ice he gave a hug to Brian and to Tracy. Can I just say I loved seeing Tracy rink side during the entire competition? I know she’s usually busy doing commentary but I hope next season she finds the opportunity to be at the rink side and Kiss and Cry with her students, she does just as much as Brian does and I think the skaters also appreciate her presence. The scores were ready pretty quickly, and I knew we were in for a new world record, as the announcer enthusiastically proclaimed, “223.20 points,” the crowd exploded again. Also, looking at the protocols I think if Yuzu had skated later in the last group we would’ve seen higher GOE for his jumps. They were immaculate. I loved the reaction of all three in the Kiss and Cry - Brian smiling proudly, Yuzu looking up with his eyes wide then closed as he basked in joy in near tears, and Tracy who was calm and collected until the score registered with her and she looked on in disbelief.

I think after Yuzu’s performance I was in an incredibly good mood, everything and everyone’s programs seemed 10x more enjoyable, even the ice dance free afterward seemed more exciting. As each skater in the final group skated I checked on the real-time scores on the ISU site to see what score they needed in order to take the lead, and Yuzu’s scores held for the remainder of the night as we were treated to some other fantastic performances in the final group. When it came time for Javi to skate and I watched his program unfold I knew that Yuzu had succeeded and I couldn’t believe he was able to move from 5th to 1st in such a stunning fashion. I clapped so much and so hard I think I bruised my left hand since it hurt the next day.

As Javi’s scores were read and I noticed the final ranking of the podium I yelped for joy (sorry, Javi, I couldn’t help my honest reaction). Yuzu, Shoma, and Boyang had been the dream podium I told my friends I wanted at the very start of the season and I was in partial disbelief that it had actually happened. I was recording the medal ceremony, and as the audience stood for the Japanese national anthem the arena went silent. As the song began to play I could quietly hear the audience in the distance singing the lyrics together (I wonder if it’s audible in my fancam video?) and I just lost it.

I’m not Japanese, but the moment was so sweet, so unifying, and so gratifying that I had a brief flashback to the medal ceremony in Boston the year before which was the first competition I had ever attended. I had decided to go to Boston instead of Barcelona that season because it was within the US and I felt sure I’d be going to witness Yuzu reclaim his world title. The memory of the sad feeling and watching Yuzu go through the medal ceremony to receive the silver medal in Boston was so excruciating that I’ve never watched it again. Thinking back on that moment, with the voice of the audience singing the national anthem in my ear, and seeing Yuzu standing atop the podium the tears just started welling up in my eyes and I began to cry. Before my trip to Helsinki started I had told friends I had met in Boston that I hope no matter what I don’t end up crying during the gala again (Yuzu’s Requiem in Boston hit me hard). I don’t think I’ve ever cried from happiness before, but these were probably the best kind of happy tears. I wasn’t expecting to be moved so much but it came from a place of joy. It felt like we, and he, had been waiting so long for this moment to come. The journey to his second world title had seemed so long and full of obstacles. From Cup of China all the way to Worlds in Helsinki, the weight of it seemed to sink in and I couldn’t help crying. As I was recording with the tears in my eyes and my running nose, a kind Hartwall staffer came up to me and handed me a tissue in an act of kindness that warmed my heart (you may or may not hear my crying in the fancam…).

While I witnessed Yuzu’s perfect Ballade SP in Boston which nearly set a new world record, that experience and this felt very different. Perhaps it was the fact that we knew he had to fight in the free skate and be perfect to have a hope at winning the title that added to the drama and excitement of it. It also felt like there was a larger Japanese crowd in Helsinki than in Boston (Boston felt like more Americans and Canadians) and the audience in general was super supportive for all skaters. I was elated in Boston after the SP, and I had a similar elation here for the FS but it felt magnified ten times over. The entire free skate it felt as if the audience was one in supporting him - it’s a feeling I won’t forget and will treasure for a long time. After the medal ceremony a group of fans from the FB group met up in the concourse, there were hugs and high fives all around and no one could contain their excitement. It felt like we had witnessed the impossible! I’m so glad I decided to come to Worlds in Helsinki, I hadn’t decided on it until Skate Canada came around but I’m so glad I did as I would’ve missed out on a spectacular event and witnessing Yuzu set a new world record.

Another fun tidbit - after the medal ceremony Yuzu took a photo with Grishlan (I don’t think I’m spelling his name right) and then handed him his bouquet.

Anyway, I’ve rambled on for much longer than I anticipated. I’ll try to do write-ups of the other events and the rest of the men in the coming days. To all the fans I met in Helsinki, and to Yuzu and all the other skaters, thank you for making this an unforgettable experience.
Musical Screening Q&A

HUGE thanks to @jjosh-lyman / johnsfkennedys (twitter) for sending me her audio recording from the post-screening q&a. ** Please note: the first few minutes are missing and I transcribed this to the best of my abilities **

1. What’s it like working with Ginny?

Josh: It’s been… It’s been.. What has it been?

Ginny: Magical? (Audience laughs)

Josh: (laughs) It’s been magical.  No, it has, it’s been–

Ginny: The best thing that’s ever happened to you! (Audience laughs)

Josh: It’s been, it has been a magical situation. You’re working with another actor who knows you so well. You can be very vulnerable, you can be very open, you can be very brave, you can do all those kinds of things. So yeah, it’s a real gift.

Moderator: I’m feeling the feels, y’all, are you?

2. What is your favorite Disney character or movie?

Adam: This will sound phony, but it is Snow White. (Audience goes aw)

Ginny: Right answer again!

Adam: It’s true!

Josh: I’m really glad we came to you.

Adam: It was the first movie that I remember seeing as a child and it clearly made an impression.

Ginny: I really like Zootopia because of um– (Audience laughs - can’t hear the rest of her answer) An equally savvy answer would be that we’re very partial to Winnie the Pooh. Pooh was my very first boyfriend and Josh, here, read the entire first Winnie the Pooh book to my belly when I was pregnant with my eldest and that was the first movie that Oliver saw. Then we accidentally bought Sterling Holloway’s house and he was Winnie the Pooh (note: he was the voice actor), so that’s kind of a crazy story. So yeah, Pooh’s got a whole thing. There’s a whole three-line of Pooh in our lives.

Josh: Or we stalk him. (Audience laughs)

Moderator: How about you, David?

David: I am fond of Maleficent and the whole Sleeping Beauty thing.

Moderator: Eddy?

Eddy: I’m gonna go with Alice in Wonderland and just because I like it. (Audience laughs)

3. Back to the musical, even though the songs are new and original, do you take inspiration from the Disney characters the actors portray?

Adam: It’s more like we’ve taken inspiration from the way our actors have realized these characters on the show. You know, we use the disney movies and animated films as a jumping off point, but every one of them has made it their own. So when we started this process, they sat down with Alan and Michael and we really all tried to work together to tailor everything specifically to who these characters are on our show and those guys did an amazing job with the songs and these guys did alright singing them. (Audience laughs)

Eddy: The idea was each episode has the tone of the character so a Snow/Charming episode is different than a Rumple. I think Alan and Michael really captured kind of the character, they were fans of the show, and then the tone & inspiration for each one.

David: Also it was about returning to a S1 feel for all of these characters, which speaks to how we were introduced to them and what the actors brought to those characters, kinda going to really the heart of when we met them and putting it into song.

Moderator: Awesome. So deep. (Audience laughs)

4. For Josh & Ginny, if you could be any other character besides the one you play currently on OUAT, who would it be?

Josh: I’ve always said Rumplestiltskin for sure. Just because Bobby, the actor, gets to play such a huge range. I just think that would be a whole lot of fun.

Ginny: I would be Henry because I wouldn’t have to wear a wig and that would be the closest I would ever get to playing Harry Potter. (Audience laughs)

5. What’s your Disney favorite ride or attraction?

Ginny: Haunted Mansion.

Josh: Pirates.

Eddy: Pirates! Haunted Mansion too, it’s close.

Josh: I also like Indiana Jones.

Adam: It’s a tie between Pirates and Star Tours. There’s like 94 possibilities.

(Someone said Space Mountain - can’t tell who. Maybe David.)

Eddy: The Buena Vista Commissary. There’s a salad bar like right down Dopey Ave. (Audience laughs)

6. Which characters were the most exciting to create a song for?

Josh: (clears throat loudly) Answer honestly!

Alan & Michael (note: I can’t tell which is which): I mean, Zelena was… Yeah.

Josh: Alright, nice to see you (note: I assume he gets up halfway as a joke)

A&M: We had to test you there.

Eddy: It’s hard to say who.. It’s like your favorite child.

Ginny: Us obviously. (Audience laughs)

Eddy: I think, for us, it was really just exciting to do as many as we could. You know, I think we weren’t sure how many songs we could take on, we weren’t sure we could do any of it and, you know, literally these guys wrote 7 original songs and they started meeting in December so… if you have a birthday or anniversary coming up, Alan & Michael~

Moderator: Anything to add, David?

David: Nope. (Audience laughs)

Elliot And Eeyore

A/N ignore the dates, yeah.

Spencer x Reader

You hated this time of year. Valentines day and the run up to it. It just reminded you that you were hopelessly single. You’d spent Valentines day alone for the last five years and whilst you weren’t exactly pining after having a boyfriend, this time of year only served to remind you that you didn’t have anyone. Well, what you meant was that you didn’t have anyone to cuddle up to and spoon at night. You didn’t have anyone to cook romantic meals for and vice versa. You didn’t have anyone who’s oversized sweaters you could steal and curl up in, and you didn’t have anyone to kiss and hug amongst other things.

The book shop that you’d inherited from your grandparents and had worked in since you were eighteen had been decorated with pink balloons, faux rose petals scattered over displays. Men were coming in on an almost hourly basis, looking sheepish as they picked up the latest ‘sexy’ book or erotic thriller that were all the rage these days for woman. Or at least men thought so. You personally would much rather someone present you with a classic or a good autobiography rather than one of those types of books. Not that there was anything fundamentally wrong with them, you’d read your fair share and they definitely had certain perks, you were just sure that their partners would appreciate something a little bit more romantic as a Valentines Day gift.

The chime above door the sounded and you looked up from the book you were reading, nestled behind the counter. It was quiet in the store right now and your assistant and friend Jess was taking her lunch break in the back. A familiar face met yours, the face of a man who’d been frequenting the shop for the last five months or so, someone you actually looked forward to seeing although you never did know when you’d see him again.

The mans name was Spencer, you’d found that out a few weeks after he’d starting coming in and had asked you if you could track down a certain book for him. You could and you had, and the two of you had started casually chatting, continuing the conversations each time he came in. He worked for FBI he’d told you during on of the chats, which explained why sometimes he’d be in almost daily on his way home from work but then you could go three weeks in a row with seeing him at all. He was nice, funny and sweet, with a love of literature which mirrored yours. And the pace at which he seemed to devour books was fascinating.

Spencer gave you a shy smile when he entered and mooched around the store for a while, just browsing. He was the only customer in there currently. After around ten minutes or so, he came up to the cash desk with two books in his hands. You rang them up and handed them to him, watching him place them directly into his messenger bag like he always did, before pushing his hair back behind his ear.

“I’ve not seen you for a few weeks, big case at work?” you knew he couldn’t talk to you directly about what he dealt with but you knew he was somewhat important. He was Googleable, and you didn’t know many people personally who were.

“Yup. We just got back this morning. I’m on my way home to relax for a well earned break.”

He did look tired now he was up close, shadows under his eyes and a light scruff covering his jawline. A jawline that could very easily cut glass. He bit his lower lip, looking uncomfortable and like he wanted to ask something.

“So erm….You’re open on Sunday? That’s Valentines Day right?”

“Yep. It’s not like I have any other plans, and there’s always guys needing to buy last minute gifts.” You were only opening 12pm until 3pm anyway, you deserved an early finish.

“Is Elliot not taking you out?” he asked quietly, his eyes flickering away and then back to you.

“Elliot? My cat?” now you were confused.

“Elliot’s your cat? Oh! The way you talk sometimes…. He’s just your cat. So you don’t have a boyfriend?” Spencer still sounded cautious but there was something else in his voice that you couldn’t pin point.

“Nope. Young, free and single.”

A smile that could have melted chocolate it was so warm and bright crossed Spencer’s face then and he laughed. He chatted for a few more minutes before making his excuses and leaving.

On Thursday the store had been open for an hour when a flower delivery girl walked in with hugest bunch of roses and violets that you’d ever seen.

“Are you Y/F/N?” she came straight up to the desk and you nodded, accepting the bouquet. The girl grinned as you signed for the flowers.

“Someone’s a lucky lady” she folded the sheet and tucked it in her bag, leaving you surprised.

“Who the hell are they from?” Jess bounded over, her eyes wide in excitement.

“I haven’t got a clue,“ you scanned the bouquet, spotting a card tucked away.

“Roses are red
Violets are blue
I come in here so often
Just to see you”

“Oh my God you have a secret admirer! This is awesome, who do you think it is?”

You weren’t sure. There was someone you hoped it would be but you didn’t dare let yourself think it could be them. You didn’t want to be horribly disappointed.

The next day at around the same time another delivery girl walked in, this time from the bakery up the road. You knew her, you frequented it often and she grinned as she handed you a cake box.

“Please tell me who it is” you begged her and she laughed.

“Hell no. That’s what Valentines is all about isn’t it. Secret admirers and all that. All I will say is that, Damn girl. He’s pretty hot.”

She left and you opened the box, Jess stood besides you. There were six cupcakes in the box each decorated with tiny frosted books on top of them. They were so adorable that you didn’t want to eat them, smacking Jess’s hand away when she reached for one.

You couldn’t help but smile, a warm and fuzzy feeling building inside you.

On Saturday, you opened the front door to the shop in the morning to find a wrapped box with your name on a card. It hadn’t been there ten minutes ago when you’d knelt by the letter box to collect the morning post, which made you think that he was nearby and watching.

You took the box back to the cash desk and opened it, revealing a ceramic money box in the shape of Eeyore from the Winnie The Pooh books. Another typed card was placed in the box.

“You said once during a conversation that you loved these books as a child and that you wanted to save so you could visit England and go to Ashdown Forest, the real life setting. Now you can start your own hundred acre woods fund.”

Had you said that? It was true, they were your favourite childhood books and it was one of your goals to visit and travel all over England, and visiting that forest was on your list of places to go whilst you were there. You couldn’t recall having this conversation with anyone though, at least not recently. It was generally only children you talked to about Pooh Bear and his friends.

Curious, very very curious.

Valentines day itself came and you opened the store as planned, doing a decent trade up until 2pm and then the customers fizzling out. You were on edge all day, having taken extra care with your appearance in the morning, sure that your secret admirer would make an appearance today.

As it was a Sunday and you were only opening for three hours Jess wasn’t in, and at ten to three you started straightening up the store, feeling slightly disappointed that whoever it was, hadn’t made an appearance. At three you locked the door and flipped the sign to closed, turning to head back to the desk and jumping when a sharp rapping came from the glass behind you.

You spun around slowly to see a very nervous looking Spencer standing the other side of the locked door, a picnic basket in his hand and a picnic blanket thrown over one arm.

Yes yes Yes!

Your lips twitched into a smile as you unlocked the door again and held it open for him.

“Hi,” his voice faltered slightly as he stepped inside.

“You’re aware that I’m closed, right?” you were nearly certain that he wasn’t here to buy a book but you also didn’t want to blurt anything out and make a fool out of yourself.

“I know. I’ve been waiting for you to close.”

“Any particular reason, Spencer?”

His cheeks flushed in the most adorably endearing way and shuffled his feet.

“Erm…. I thought…. Maybe…. We could have an indoor picnic. Or an outdoor one, but it’s pretty cold outside.”

“Please tell me the flowers were you. And the cupcakes. And the beautiful money box? Please don’t let them be somebody else.”

“It was me. Did you… Did you like them?” he took a step closer to you and you mirrored him.

“I’ve never had anyone send me Valentines gifts before, even when I was in a relationship. It’s honestly the most romantic thing anyone’s ever done for me, and I hoped and prayed it was you but I didn’t want to let myself believe it until I knew. I didn’t want to be disappointed.”

He smiled at you and you beamed back.

“I… I would have tried to ask you out sooner but I thought… Well, I thought you had a boyfriend called Elliot. And when you didn’t, and it was four days from Valentines Day, I figured I’d try to use it to my advantage and to try and win you over.”

“Well it worked. Consider me well and truly won over, although I kinda was before. I always looked forward to your visits Spencer, they brighten up my week. One thing though… Did we ever really speak about Winnie The Pooh? That threw me.”

“I overhead you talking to a small child one day and it stuck in my mind like almost everything I’ve heard you say does.”

“Well it was so sweet and adorable and…. I could literally ramble right now about how warm and fuzzy I’m feeling but I’m kinda making an idiot of myself already so…. An indoor picnic you say? In here?”

Spencer nodded and shook the blanket out. “We both love books so it seemed fitting. There is kinda one thing I have to ask though, just because of what today is.”

“Go on then.”

“Y/N.. Will you…. Will you be my Valentine?”

“There’s nothing more I want to be right now, Spencer.”

  • Mum: How can a parent be so neglectful? The worst thing I've ever done as a parent is take the diaper bag to work instead of my purse.
  • Me: (to myself, obviously) Really? That's the worst thing you ever done as a parent? You invade my privacy by reading my journals, my texts, my emails, and by barging into my room. You yell at me about how you feel so hurt that I'm not talking to you or snuggling with you like I did when I was seven and you threaten to kick me out of the house when I am going through pretty severe depression. You shit on my dreams, you criticise what I do, you tell people very embarrassing moments of mine. That doesn't even begin to cover it. Really? That is the WORST thing you've done as a parent? Accidentally taking a Winnie the Pooh bag to work is worse than screaming at me for being a bitch when I wanted to die?

Stuck like glue

Request from Anonymous: Hi! I love your blog. I recently followed you and have been reading everything I come across! Could I please request an angst/smut with Loco where you two have been together for awhile, but you think because he’s becoming more popular and people are paying attention to him more he’s changing, and kind of neglecting you. So he does his best to make you realize he still loves you and convince you he’s not changing. Thank you so much!!

“Shiiiii,” you murmured underneath Loco.

Loco and yourself had just locked each other in his hotel room and it has almost been a tradition that whenever you two stay at a hotel there would be some ‘action’ to be done. And thankfully, he is on tour with AOMG across 4 different cities within that month.

“Uhhh fuu-,” you moaned into his mouth. Loco began to thrust faster and you held onto his back. Actually, more like making scratches on his back. Feeling your walls closing against him, Loco moved off of you to kneel on the bed. He grabbed your legs and pushed them closed to your chest and he continued thrusting. You grabbed onto the headboard with your hands and let him rode you.

“Ooh shit..” Loco muttered.

You managed to fully open your eyes and looked up to Loco and once you two locked eyes, an innocent smile spread across his face. You smiled back at him but then he used his free hand and began rubbing your sensitive spot. His touch made you shiver from your toes all the way up to your fingertips. You squirmed uncontrollably and Loco changed his position again. He dipped down so close to you that now your foreheads were touching. You held onto his arms as he rode you until you reached climax.

“Damn boy!” Jay hissed.

Jay and Loco were downstairs in the hotel’s gym the next morning and Loco was wearing a tank top with some basketball shorts.

“What?” Loco asked.

Jay walked past Loco and slapped him across his back. “Rough night, last night?” Jay jokingly cheered at Loco. A warm pinkish colour spread across Loco’s cheeks as he realised what Jay was talking about. Unable to face further embarrassment from Jay and possibly from other people at the gym, Loco put on his jacket and headed to the treadmill. Jay followed Loco and hopped onto the treadmill next to him. Loco started off with a jogging pace as he changed the incline on his treadmill.

“Giving me a run for my money, aye?” Jay claimed as he was just casually walking on the treadmill. Loco grinned at Jay while increasing the speed on the treadmill. “Don’t tease me, Loco. Save that for [Y/N],” Jay exclaimed.

“How was the gym? Did Jay tell you to record him while he’s lifting?” you asked your boyfriend. Loco laughed at you but also nodded to your question.

“What do you want for breakfast?” he asked you, as he slipped his arms around your waist and placed a kiss on your neck.

“Let’s order room service,” you decided.

As the two of you waited for breakfast to be delivered to the room, both of you sat on the couch with the tv on. However, the both of you were on your phones instead. You were on Instagram and since you liked all of Loco’s post, your feed was filled with mostly fan photos of him. They tagged him in drawings, fan photos and concert videos. As you scrolled through the feed, you noticed a photo that was just recently taken of Loco and you knew this because he was wearing the exact same clothes. You looked at the caption and it read “he’s so hot now!!”

A funny feeling occurred in your stomach when you read it and this wasn’t the first time you had felt it. You usually look at the photos taken of him by fans and they were usually along the lines of him being so cute and such. However ever since he had been working out more the comments were different. Personally, you think that the fans are now paying more attention to him only because of how he looks. You looked up from your phone and all you saw was the same man you fell in love with 3 years ago. Yes, his physique had changed but his personality didn’t.

“Hey baby, look at this photo of you,” you showed him the photo, “Jay looks like a kid next to you”.

Loco took the phone from you so you moved closer to him and now your legs were placed across his.

“Jay looks scrawny, yeah?” Loco joked as he returned your phone to you. As you were about to make further comments, Loco’s phone rang. He muttered something under his breath before moving your legs off him and disappeared into the bedroom.

“I gotta go, babe,” Loco emerged from the bedroom, fully dressed. He stopped by the mirror and adjusted his beanie before grabbing his jacket from the chair.

“Where are you going?” you asked.

“My manager called and I’m going to this local cafe for an impromptu meetup,” Loco explained quickly. You got up from the couch and stood by him.

“What about breakfast?” you mentioned. Loco turned to face you and held onto your chin his fingers.

“I promise I’ll make it up to you,” he said, placing a peck on your lips.

I’m heading out with the guys after the meet up. I’ll see you at soundcheck tonight okay?

You looked at the message you had just received from Loco and wondered if you should replied back to him instantly. You put your phone back into your bag and headed into a shop. As you were browsing the clothes lines, you overheard two females on the opposite side talking about your boyfriend.

“Did you see his arms?” one of them commented.

“Yes! Oh my god and he’s actually taller than I expected,” the other girl said.

“Do you still think Jay is still better looking than him?” the first girl asked her friend.

“Nah, Loco is my man now! He’s so hot!,” her friend exclaimed, “I’d climb him any day”.

You were about to choke on air whilst listening to their conversation so you stepped out the shop quickly. The cold air helped you to breathe easily and you took out your phone to check the time, but also to see if Loco had try to contact you.

He didn’t.

Feeling somewhat frustrated because Loco usually message you or call you multiple times if he didn’t get a reply to his questions. You thought to yourself that he must have been really busy with the guys….that he forgot about you.

You were back at the empty hotel room and you saw it was nearly time for the soundcheck. You sat on the sofa contemplating on whether or not to attend the soundcheck. Most of the day you didn’t speak to Loco and you realise this isn’t the first time. It has been happening recently but you just brush it off as if it was nothing to worry about. But little did you know, it was slowly eating up your feelings towards Loco.

The sound of several knocks on the door broke your thoughts. You got up and to see who it was.

“Hi, Ms [Y/L/N]. Are you ready?” the bellman asked politely.

“I’m sorry but ready for what exactly?

“Mr. Kwon has told us to let you know that he will be sending a limo for you at 4 o’clock. The limo is right outside the hotel now,” the bellman informed you, “He mentioned something about a soundcheck”.

“Umm I’m not sure if I can go. I’m not feeling too well,” you lied.

“Please Miss, I must insist,” the bellman enunciated, “Mr. Kwon has given us special instructions”.

Feeling like you’re not going to win this with Loco, you grabbed your bag and put on your shoes.

“He better be in the limo,” you whispered to yourself as you closed the door behind you.

But once you stepped into the limo it was empty, like the hotel room. However, on the seat is a small Winnie the Pooh plushie. You held up the plushie and saw a small card stuck to it. And Loco’s handwriting filled the card:

Sorry I didn’t get to see you today but I hope this plushie can take my place..for now. Love, Loco :)

“[Y/N]!” Simon greeted you warmly.

“Hey,” you replied unenthusiastic-ally.

“What’s wrong?” Simon observed as he looked down to you.

You didn’t say anything to him so Simon backed off.

“C’mon let’s go find your boyfriend,” Simon suggested as he put his arms on your shoulders, “I last saw him with some fans”.

Simon guided you towards the exit of the venue and from far away, you could spot your minion. Loco was wearing his yellow Bleached t-shirt, black jeans and his usual yellow beanie. You stopped when you were about to get close him.

“You don’t wanna see him?” Simon questioned your sudden stop.

“He’s busy. C’mon let’s go back,” you pledged.

Simon’s arms were still around you and he didn’t let you leave. Instead, he decided to call out for Loco. You hit Simon across his chest and he gave you a fake hurtful look.

“What was that for?”

“Why did you do that?!” you snapped at him, “Loco’s busy so we shouldn’t annoy him”. You looked in Loco’s direction and a smile beamed across his face, quite similar to the one last night, and he gave you a wave before turning back to his fans. You were hoping he would leave his fans and run to you, but he didn’t. He continued to sign autographs, make small talk and posing for photos.

“Let’s go back, Simon” you urged.

“No, let’s wait for him. He has been there for ages so security should come and kick his ass soon,” Simon joked, “And I want to see that”.

“Fine, I’m going to go then,” you grumbled as you push Simon’s arms off yourself.

“Hey, why are you so upset?” Simon asked as he caught up to you.

“I’m not upset,” you lied, “I didn’t want to be here in the first place but Loco forced me to come”.

“Then why did you come at all?”

“Because I wanted to be a supportive girlfriend but obviously, my boyfriend is too busy for me nowadays. It’s like he finds me annoying” you blurted out.

“Annoying?” Simon gave you an eyebrow raised, “Throughout the whole day, all Loco did was mention you. Like we walked past shops today and all he did was point out the things you would have li–”

“Hey babe!” Loco came up from behind you and circulated his arms around your waist. You clicked your tongue at his touch.

“What’s wrong?” Loco asked, “Did Simon say something that offended you?” Simon scoffed at Loco’s accusation before leaving the both of you alone. Loco chuckled at Simon as he let go to stand in front of you.

“Not happy to see me?” Loco teased, poking your cheeks. You hit his hands away. Loco was now genuinely worried because you always enjoyed it when he poke your cheeks. “Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked for the second time.

“It’s nothing babe, don’t worry about me,” you told him, “Go do your thing”. You started to walk away from him but he didn’t allow it.

“Is this about what happened this morning?” Loco guessed. You sighed and was actually surprised he guessed correctly because all day he had been ignoring you.

“It is, isnt?” Loco continued, “Look. I’m sorry, okay?” Forgive me? Please?”

“You didn’t do anything wrong so I can’t forgive you,” you mumbled.

“Then why are you pushing me away?”

You looked into his concerned eyes and took a deep breathe. “I just want to give you space, that’s all”.

“Ah stop lying, babe. Talk to me,” Loco insisted, “Are you upset because I have been ignoring you all day?”

“It seems like you know everything so why do you keep on asking me?” you scolded at him.

“I’m sorry, okay?” I didn’t mean to ignore you all day but whenever I try to call or message you, the fans keep running up to me,” Loco explained, “And I just can’t ask them not to, you know?”

“Sending a simple message doesn’t take long. But whatever, I don’t want to come off as a clingy girlfriend so let’s just forget about it,” you told him. Loco eyed you carefully to try and read your inner thoughts. He knew you too well to know this was more than just sending a ‘simple message’.

“Did something happen today?”

Frustration began to creep on your mind as Loco was not letting this issue go. So to make this go away quickly, you told him what happened at the store and also the recent fan comments on his photos. You even threw in the fact that you felt like he’s changing his ways with you and that you were afraid he will turn into another person.

“Babe,” Loco emphasised, “It’s good to know that the fans are noticing my hard work but honestly, I’m not going to change my personality. Just because I’ve started eating better and working out doesn’t mean I’m changed person. Well yes, my appearance may look slightly different but inside I’m still the same man, so stop worrying. I’ll always be the same Hyuk-woo that you fell in love with. Promise”.

You gazed into his still concerned eyes and grinned shyly.

“I’m really a clingy girlfriend, aren’t I? I won’t blame you if you wanna leave now,” you told him.

“Not a chance,” Loco said warmly as he pulled you in a for a hug, “I’m stuck with you and you’e stuck with me”.

Creepypasta #1135: I Believe In Goatman

Length: Long

Goatman lives. I know it. I remember, the first time I heard a story about him, I didn’t believe it. Ghosts, I believed in. Spirits, sure. But a half man, half goat creature that wandered the woods and terrorized people? This was too much, even for my fertile imagination.

My grandfather grew up in Northern Ontario, where his family worked in the mining industry. He was the first one who ever told me about Goatman. One bitterly cold winter, when he was just a boy, a huge snowstorm blew through the area.

He remembered, at dinnertime, his father talking about how, when he was making his way home after gathering some firewood in the woods, he saw in the distance the figure of a man walking through the forest, bent against the wind and snow. He had called to him, but received no answer. Everyone thought it was a wandering vagrant, or someone who had gotten lost as the storm blew up, and was searching for shelter.

That night, though, Grandpa said that his family had woken up and seen what looked like a man walking around the house, looking in the windows. Come morning, they went to check it out. Instead of fresh human boot or shoe prints in the snow, they saw cloven hoof-prints. And that’s where the story ended. His story, anyway.

My grandparents had moved a couple of hours away from that area, and I grew up living next door to them, in a gold mining town. I am an only child, and my best friend was my cousin, Tanya, who lived in the same town. We’d spend every summer in the woods around my grandparents and my house. Those woods had a magical quality to them. They felt extremely safe and wholesome, like the Hundred Acre Wood from Winnie the Pooh or something. We’d play for hours in those woods, pretending we were Celtic princesses, or pioneer women. But one day, we wandered a little too far.

This was Northern Ontario, so our entire town was surrounded by bush and rock, being part of the Canadian shield. Not far beyond the safe, happy-feeling woods behind my grandparent’s house was the lake the town had taken its name from. When I was little, it was a beautiful spot, but the mine had drained it do some exploration. A chain link fence surrounded the perimeter and our parents had always warned us not to go near there – it could be really dangerous.

Tanya was a show-off. At sixteen years old she was only one year ahead of me, but boy did she lord it over me. She was petite, with graceful curves, blonde hair, blue eyes and a flawless complexion. Boys fawned over her. I, on the other hand, was an awkward fifteen year old, with thick, long brown hair, glasses, braces and an acne problem. She was sweet, and always told me I was pretty and helped me to feel better about myself, but she made no secret that she thought she was drop dead gorgeous.

Tanya was also a lot more worldly than me. I was bookish, naive, and didn’t have experience with boys. She’d already had several boyfriends and had tried smoking and drinking – two things I refused to do. So, it didn’t surprise me when she said we should travel down to the fence that bordered the drained-out lake and flash the few guys who would be sitting in their diggers that were working there.

“The Ways You Said ‘I Love You’” Meme

A/N: I feel like this is the only thing I can do for you at this juncture, to maybe cheer you up even a little? I’m really happy you chose to continue fighting, and you’ll be in my prayers! Stay strong dear.

“You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” -Winnie the Pooh

💕💕 Don’t give up! 💕💕

You never realised how impatient or perfectionistic Saeran could be until today.

“Are you done mixing? You’re so slow.”

“It’s off by 0.1grams. Seriously? I warned you about parallex errors just 10.2 seconds ago!”

“Oh for fuck’s sake, the cookies are going to look horrible at the rate you’re dropping them on the pan.”

“…Okay this is a lot harder than it looks. The batter is sticky as— Fuck! It’s in my hair!”

It’s really no surprise why baking isn’t the most relaxing of pastimes for him.

Your core muscles are starting to hurt and you find yourself having a punishing time trying to breathe in between your laughter. You can’t stop though, not with Saeran glaring at the mixing bowl and the ugly semi-circular blobs of batter on the tray as if they just slapped him in the face and called him ‘stupid’. And especially not when he has a couple splotches of sticky brown substance staining his bright, angry red hair, no thanks to his carelessness and impatience.

“Ha ha. Very funny.” Saeran has now turned his glare on you, having grabbed a couple sheets of tissue to rid his hair of the offending stains. He attempts to swipe them off, but given that he doesn’t have eyes on the back of his head, all he can do is aimlessly comb through his hair, inevitably slathering the batter on his hair like butter on toast in the process.

“Saeran, stop,” you say, still giggling at how irritated he looks, his nose scrunched, his eyes narrowed and lips turned down into a deep scowl. At himself, you or the batter, you’re not entirely sure. Perhaps it’s just everything and the disaster this baking session has turned out to be so far. “Let me help you.”

Almost begrudgingly, he hands the remaining clean sheets of tissue to you, before sliding into a seat so you can see better. His lips are pursed into a thin line, his arms are folded across his chest and his foot drums against the floor as he waits not-so-patiently for you to carry out your duty as promised. With some amusement, you can’t help but think he resembles a child throwing a tantrum after losing a game of tag.

It’s a little hard to get everything out of his hair since it’s all gooey and sticky. You even manage to grab two tiny chocolate chips out from in his hair, which you quietly hold it in your palm. Knowing Saeran, he’ll just pop them into his mouth without a moment’s hesitation. He’s rather averse to dirt and grime and the like, but when it comes to sweet snacks and candies, even the ‘Three-second rule’ can stretch to 3 hours. “I think you should take a shower to clean yourself up,” you suggest with a small grimace at the clumps of sticky and sweet-smelling red locks on his head. He groans at that, but shrugs it off. “Later. We should get these in the oven first.”

“All this just for chocolate chip cookies,” you mutter with a shake of your head, which he ignores. His sweet tooth will be the death of him someday, you conclude to yourself.

Chapter Sixty-Three

A/N: Here we are, another chapter. It’s quite big, with quite a few different things happening. Very engagement-centred, but I hope you enjoy it. If any of you don’t know who Ant and Dec are when you reach that part, please do Google them. They are the funniest and nicest guys, literally the whole of the UK loves them.

That said, I hope you enjoy. Please do let me know what you think, your feedback means a lot more to me than you probably realise 😊💖

Emmy didn’t speak to Taylor or Chris for the next week. She didn’t hear from them at all, and their silence was getting her down. She didn’t mean to upset them, but the truth was that she didn’t know who to trust anymore. And so it was best not to provoke them, not to anger or offend them even further.

However she was worried, for she hadn’t heard from any of Harry’s friends either, and she prayed that Taylor hadn’t told them what she’d done. She had a feeling they would take it a lot worse than Taylor had. Although she suspected that Skippy already knew he’d been lied to, even though Emmy had specifically asked them all not to tell anyone the names until she’d told them herself. She didn’t realise Taylor and Skippy spoke so much.

A day in Newcastle was on the cards for Emmy, where the mental health charity Mind had worked with Heads Together to set up a day full of activities in the city centre to raise awareness for mental health. She was going with William and Kate, and she was dreading seeing them both. She didn’t know whether William knew about Taylor finding out, but she expected he did. With Edward and Harry in Brazil, Claire needed someone else to discuss everything with, and ever since she’d found out that William knew all about their plan she’d taken to talking to Miguel, William’s secretary. And, in turn, Miguel told William everything.

So she wasn’t surprised when, as soon as she met William and Kate outside Kensington Palace ready to leave for the day, William pulled her into a big hug.

“How you holding up?” he asked gently, and once he’d released her Kate gave her a cuddle too.

“Um, okay,” Emmy said. “I guess you heard about Taylor?”
