So I’m super into astrology, and I like to incorporate it into my characters when I write. I was doing some research for some smut and I got this bright idea to share what I think the Bangtan Boiz™️ would be like during sex based on their personalities and 🔮zodiac signs🔮

*This is all based on my intuition/imagination and should be taken light-heartedly

Reasons why I love every SVT member

I have laughed AN D CRIED a lot because of this fine group. I’m sure many others can relate to that.
I would like to take some time to appreciate and note the members individually because they all deserve the world, thanks.
(Prepare yourselves, I wrote lots???? Like…. lots.

S.Coups:

Some might say that Seungcheol isn’t fit to be in charge of the group. Well let me tell ya baby boyz why he most certainly is. S. Coups naturally has that fatherly type of image. Like “dad of the year” award type of fatherly. There is something about him that influences others to feel protected. He genuinely cares for all of the members and keeps everyone’s emotions in line. It takes a special kind of person to do that. One incident that spoke volumes to me was how he handled “Seventeen Project.” He knew when things were starting to take a negative turn and he wasn’t afraid to voice his opinions. (In a calm and rational way). BOI I CRIED. Despite the put-together (and sometimes tough) image he projects, he’s a rather sensitive person. The reason why he’s so supportive is because he longs for support himself. I think being in Seventeen has made him feel a sense of belonging. The mans has done a wonderful job and he deserves respect. I don’t think there is anyone else meant to be leader.

after Breath of the Wild

I don’t know, just some stuff about what would happen after defeating Calamity Ganon + If the spirits of the king and the champions stuck around to oversee the rebuilding of Hyrule/train their successors

Mipha:

  • First thing Sidon did when he saw Mipha is start crying and try to jump-hug her (he was a lot smaller last time they actually saw one another…)
  • He ended up going right through her though
  • but it’s alright because now that Mipha’s spirit is free, she can visit her dad and make sure the rest of the domain is in good shape!
  • She cried when she saw the statue of her. in fact, there was a lot of crying from everyone because they just really missed her, but it’s good now because she’s more or less back.
  • She spent days in the throne room with her father, just catching up with all that’s happened in the time that’s passed. Luckily, the domain remained decently similar, and many of her old companions were still there to see her return.
  • After agreeing that Sidon should take her place as the Zora champion, She’s started teaching him how to pilot Vah Rutah, and he’s learning exceptionally fast. She’s really proud of him
  • She’s also teaching him some first aid. it’s no Mipha’s Grace but he’s got the basics down!
  • Sidon is honestly thrilled to be following in his sister’s footseps, but naturally he still has doubts and anxieties about the future. In times where he needs comforting, Mipha is always there to listen to his worries and guide him towards becoming a great king some day
  • whenever Link and Zelda visit, the whole domain throws a lovely party and feast to welcome them (there may or may not be some arguments over who gets to sit next to link)
  • The whole domain just really feels like the loving and wonderful place it once was. Mipha spends a lot of her time with Vah Ruta, just like she used to, only now with much more company. Sidon is quite the enthusiastic learner after all
  • Even though she’s happy to be back, Mipha seems to be the only one of the champions who has acknowledged and accepted the fact that she’s going to have to pass on eventually; her people can’t rely on her forever. She finds comfort in the fact that she’ll at least have said goodbye and prepared them for when that day comes

Daruk:

  • As soon as he got back he immediately went to find Yunobo; he may or may not have given the poor boy quite the scare
  • but Yunobo is still thrilled to meet his ancestor!
  • honestly he’s actually a little afraid that Daruk will be dissapointed in him for not being big, strong, and courageous, even though he isn’t as much of a wimp as he used to be
  • Daruk is actually overjoyed to find him and the rest of the gorons in such good shape, and he certainly couldn’t be more proud of his great great (?) grandson for all that he’s done to help
  • Daruk doesn’t want the others to know he’s back just yet, though. it’s gotta be a surprise at just the right moment, he says.
  • Yunobo really wants to spill the beans, but he doesn’t because Daruk is having a lot of fun appearing to the village children in secret and telling them cool stories about himself
  • In turn these kids went blabbing to the adults about “how they saw the great Daruk in person”, and of course they had to tell the children that that can’t be true because Daruk isn’t here anymore
  • it’s around here that Daruk rides Vah Rudania down the mountain and shows up with all the glory he can muster. For him I think it’s go big or go home
  • Obviously he chooses Yunobo to take the role of champion in his place
  • Yunobo learns to pilot Rudania a bit faster than Daruk did, and he manages to become even more confident with his success
  • Daruk praises him as the pride of the gorons for becoming so strong and brave, but also remaining soft and nice
  • Everyone still uses him as a canonball though
  • Daruk just spends his time joyfully regaling the whole village and all passing travelers with stories passed down through the gorons for ages. He’s also the best person to go to if you need a really motivating pep-talk.

Revali:

  • None of the Rito actually know he’s back, because so far he’s been chilling in Vah Medoh and basking in his glory
  • He realized he needs someone to shower him in compliments carry on his legacy, so he picked Teba, thinking he was the most suitable choice
  • of course, since Teba wants to be a great Rito warrior he would never deny the offer of training, and from the great Revali of all people!
  • Teba quickly finds himself… surprised that the old stories he was told growing up forgot to mention the fact Revali is kind of… well, a jerk.
  • He’s finding it harder and harder to believe this boisterous guy training him to pilot a DIVINE BEAST was actually a well respected warrior, let alone his hero and inspiration basically
  • but he can’t deny the training has really paid off; his archery skills have never been this good and he’s never flown so smoothly.
  • and he might not say it explicitly, but Revali is really proud and he really starts to see Teba as his apprentice
  • the only other’s in the tribe who know about Revali’s spirit are Saki and Tulin. but there’s been rumours going around the village that if you look hard enough into the night sky, you can see a ghostly figure pulling off some admittedly cool tricks
  • Revali isn’t the absolute best with children, but he’s taken a liking to Tulin and helps train him when Teba can’t. Tulin started calling him “uncle” and honestly Teba is afraid he’s lost his son’s favour
  • Link and the princess stop by on occasion to check up on things and provide maintenance to Medoh, Revali still tries to one-up link every time (and fails every time)
  • at this point, Kass is also back home with his family and has started writing songs of his own. when he has the chance, Revali swoops down to listen to the music. he found most of the songs are about the hero of legend, which actually irritated him a bit, but he was beyond delighted to find Kass has written a whole song dedicated to him and his accomplishments. no he’s not crying, there’s just dust in his eye ok

Urbosa:

  • man Urbosa is happy to be back. she was worried sick about her people, how could she not be? But now she’s gotta pay visit to the new chief and make sure everything’s running smoothly
  • Now that she’s face to face with Riju, she can really see just how young she is. Urbosa is honestly upset someone who is barely just a teenager got forced into a position of power, and by losing her mother no less. She’s seen similar happen with Zelda, and she’d hoped she wouldn’t have to see it again.
  • anyway, she struts in Riju’s room as cool as ever. Riju is, understandably, in awe
  • Urbosa takes it upon herself to see that Riju gets the proper upbringing she deserves to grow up to become a good chief
  • She doesn’t want to stress her with the whole “becoming the new champion” thing until she’s older and can handle something like that, but Riju has been begging to start learning more about Vah Naboris. Urbosa can’t quite say no, so slowly she’s been teaching her about the divine beast’s history and how it works; she’ll save the actual piloting work for another time.
  • Every day Riju becomes stronger and more confident as a chief, and it shows! the whole town is very proud of this recent development, but they can’t help but wonder how she managed such progress all of a sudden
  • Urbosa makes sure Riju gets her break time too, though. Riju was embarrassed at first about her sand seal plushie collection and what Urbosa would think about it, but she was actually delighted in her interest for the animals. long story short, now they spend their time together talking about seals and making bad puns
  • Urbosa gives really good sand seal surfing advice too; she knew how to ride the dunes better than anyone in her day
  • on the side, Bularia is afraid she’s being replaced, but can’t be too mad because this is Urbosa we’re talking about here. Her fears are put to rest once the champion actually approaches her just to tell her she’s doing a great job, and that she’s thankful for her service. (she cried)

quick bonus:

  • The king is back too and he made things right with Zelda. he’s super proud of his daughter, and this time he doesn’t make the mistake of not telling her.
  • since she’s normally out and about with Link, trying to assess the damage and start the repairs on the kingdom, He hangs around what’s left of the castle until they return
  • Now that the whole apocalypse thing isn’t in the way, he finally has the chance to properly teach Zelda about running a kingdom
  • Zelda managed to recreate a bond with her father, and she put his advice to good use when restoring Hyrule to it’s former glory

anonymous asked:

wonwoo as a boyfriend (bulleted post). thanks!

rip tumblr’s full of amazing posts about this but I hope you enjoy my attempt ♥

  • in short, Wonwoo would be a loving, warm boyfriend
  • like he’d make sure you know he loves you, whether it’s with small kisses or taking care of your well-being whenever he can
  • as in, he takes care of you whenever you’re sick, wants to comfort you when you’re upset and all that
  • also never misses the chance to walk you home when it’s late, or at the least to the bus/train/subway stop
  • okay he’d do that a lot even if it’s not late but you know
  • “I just want to know you get home safe.”
  • and if it has indeed been pretty late and he’s walked you just to a stop, he’d ask you to give him a call/message when you’ve gotten home
  • aka definitely the type to refuse to sleep until he knows you’re home safe
  • good morning and good night texts too!
  • wouldn’t say no to some couple items
  • like I feel like he wouldn’t necessarily opt for the overly obvious ones, but something small that you’d share that still shows that you’re dating
  • altho ok you might be able to talk him into couple outfits a couple of times if you really want to
  • perhaps he’d be into maybe a small piece of jewelry, like a necklace or a bracelet, or a phone case or something like that, just something that he could adore every now and then and think about you
  • and something that would let others know that you’re dating him, because he’s that level of possessive
  • otherwise I don’t think he’d be too possessive, but he does want people to know that you’re not available in that sense
  • while Wonwoo wouldn’t be into excessive PDA, he’d often hold your hand in public or have his arm around your waist/shoulders and wouldn’t hesitate to hug you, either
  • but kissing and anything more than that he’d feel is something between the two of you, so he wants to keep it private
  • (okay maybe quick pecks on the lips or cheek if one of you is taking the other to like a train station or something like that would slide, but otherwise he’d stick to the slightly more platonic displays of affection)
  • at home it’s very different, of course, and he’d really enjoy cuddling you and just holding you close in general
  • enjoys sleeping with you, with you cuddled up to him or holding your hand or spooning you
  • the big spoon would change from time to time; he enjoys both, although he probably would have a slight preference for being the big spoon
  • couch cuddles too
  • like imagine reading the same book with you sitting up against him or cuddled up to him
  • or him cuddled up to you really, depending on the day
  • and when you’ve gotten tired of asking “Are you done?” after every spread, you’d develop a small sign to give whenever you were done
  • maybe a small tap on the other one’s body or something
  • which would result in you absentmindedly tapping Wonwoo’s chest after 10 seconds into a new spread and him jokingly being all “Already? That was fast.”
  • also. so many lame jokes.
  • you know the type that are so lame that you only laugh because he ends up looking really self-satisfied or really amused by it himself
  • nothing wrong with it tho you love his jokes anyway
  • if his behavior towards Mingyu is anything to go by, chances are you’d occasionally get to hear, in the most loving way possible and with a soft smile, “You’re such an idiot, why do I love you again?”
  • but it’s always obvious he doesn’t actually question it
  • whenever you’re upset, whether it’s because of him or something else, he’d notice is pretty fast
  • and he’d quickly ask if it was something you wanted to talk about; if yes, you talk, and if not, he’d let it go and would just squeeze your hand or something
  • “If you ever do want to talk about it, I’m here.”
  • he reads a lot, and he’d like some of the more classic romantic things
  • like nothing overly cliche or grand, but flowers every now and then, candlelit dinners on special occasions and all that would be a thing
  • also anniversary presents!
  • he probably wouldn’t keep track of the smallest ones, so if you expect him to remember the day you first held hands or something like that… probably not
  • but the day you had your first date and the day you agreed to start your relationship would be pretty enmeshed in his memory and always written in his calendar
  • chances are you’d get a few random presents in general, too, but they’d be more the “I knew you wanted this and it was on sale so I got it”, or something silly that made him think of you and thus he had to buy it
  • and when the time comes he’d talk to your parents before proposing but that’s for later
  • would want to know your friends and for you to know his, because it means a lot to him that you get along with his friends and he with yours
  • dates with Wonwoo could be anything between just chilling at his or your place and going out for dinner or to an amusement park or heck the beach in Busan
  • would want you to feel as comfortable as possible at all times, but also encourages you to get a lil out of your comfort zone at times, in a good way
  • in general he’d really enjoy doing things together
  • like if he had to go somewhere, you’d be his first choice to ask to go with him, and he would always suggest to join you in cooking, cleaning etc
  • he’d also enjoy just talking
  • he’d enjoy it a lot, really, whether it’s books, movies or for example current events that you’re discussing
  • just being able to voice his opinions and hearing yours, learning new things about the world and you is what he enjoys
  • Wonwoo would really value your opinion, at all times, and always wants to take it into account
  • for example, if he’s done something himself, such as written something or cooked something by himself for the two of you, he’d always want to know your opinion (and be nervous while waiting for it)
  • like he’d try to appear all calm and collected, kinda fiddling with his fingers while he waits for you to be done reading/eating/etc, but in reality his heart’s beating faster than normal and he’s got a hopeful smile trying to make its way to his lips
  • honestly just imagine the shyest “So, how is it?” coming from him in such a soft voice and you can hear the smile in it
  • and similarly he’d always make sure to give you small compliments that come from his heart, whether it’s “You look great” with a small smile, or telling you how delicious the food you’ve made is
  • lots of deep convos and pillow talks and holding hands while laying in bed
  • relationships are rarely just a joyride, and yours wouldn’t be an exception, really
  • you wouldn’t fight for the sake of fighting tho
  • it’s more like you’d have arguments whenever there’s been miscommunication/you haven’t understood each other or you feel like he’s being too distant etc
  • or honestly just if one of you has done something the other one doesn’t like, whether it’s big or small
  • naturally bigger things lead to bigger arguments, but it would rarely if ever blow out of proportions
  • most of the time you’d work things out pretty fast, because he hates it when there’s conflict between the two of you, and you wouldn’t exactly enjoy it either
  • and whenever you’ve made up, he’d cup your cheeks, rub them a little with his thumbs and smile at you before giving you a slow, soft kiss before quietly asking if you’re good again
  • when you presumably smile and nod and possibly hug him, he gets that happy, wide smile that makes his nose crunch
  • now we get to the Rated part
  • because sex
  • honestly with him it could be anything
  • like one night it might be very slow and sweet and another night it might be needy and on the kinkier side (within your comfort zone of course)
  • he’d want to be pretty open about sex-related things with you
  • as in, he wants to know what you like and don’t like, just like he wants you to know what he likes and doesn’t like
  • turn-ons and turn-offs and all that
  • a big fan of kissing during sex; even if the position makes it difficult, he’d steal a few quick ones
  • I feel like he’d be into some lowkey bondage, which he’d definitely suggest as long as you’re comfortable with it
  • it wouldn’t even matter if it’s on him or you, he’d still love it
  • would also have a huge thing for your moans, which is one of the reasons he loves making you feel good, besides the fact that he loves you
  • as for where you have sex, he’d essentially prefer the bedroom, but would rarely say no if you get needy in the car for example, or if you as much as suggest having fun in the living room, shower etc
  • while he doesn’t like PDA that much, semi-public sex would be a story of its own; he’d find it exciting
  • I leave that to your imagination
  • not that it would be a frequent occurrence, really
  • morning sex!!
  • he’d definitely love the slowness, intimacy and sensitivity
  • I feel like there wouldn’t be a very excessive amount of sex, but whenever you’re both in the mood or just decide to go for it, it would be some very good stuff
  • but he’d be very loving in bed, too, and even if it happens to be a needy session with one of you lightly tied up or something, you’d feel safe and loved, which would only make it all so much better
  • a big note: in case you’re asexual or just don’t particularly enjoy sex, he would be very understanding and pretty happy with just kissing and cuddling and talking and just about everything else that you are comfortable with
  • all in all Wonwoo would honestly be a very considerate, loving boyfriend who always wants you to feel good about yourself and know that he loves you more than anything else

Meta: DRRR, Shizaya, and Monstrous Romance

Alright. Shizaya. I should begin this by saying a couple of things: first of all, in the interests of time, much of this will be freeform more than pulling up specific examples from canon or screenshots or quotes or the like. Shizaya is one of my very top OTPs and I’ve spent a lot (possibly too much) time thinking about their dynamic, so a lot of this is built upon conclusions built on conclusions built on conclusions. It’s meta all the way down, folks. Also please note that much of this will be heavily colored by my own perspective here; I’m not trying to be unbiased or objective as much as to ramble for some extended period about my own take on one of my favorite ships. So take several grains of salt with you before we embark on this. It’s also going to be a mess. I’ll try to break it out into more-or-less cohesive sections, but I have a lot to say and I’m not sure even where to start so I’m just going to give it to you all at once. Hopefully it’s more fun than overwhelming.

With that I’ll jump right in!

anonymous asked:

RFA/V/Saeran + An MC who has money and likes to spoil them? Sometimes it's normal gifts like jewelry or clothes, and sometimes MC's like, “I bought you a car.” ( Or something else ridiculously expensive for the ones who don't drive. )

“the ones who don’t drive”
*cough cough* Jumin Han *cough cough*
I wish I was rich so I could spoil the RFA

Yoosung:
-Honestly, slightly jealous that you’re as rich as Jumin.
-You buy him all the new games he wants along with expansion packs or DLC bundles too. You also help pay for college textbooks and other college expenses.
-He’s always extremely flustered when you buy him expensive things.
-He often times tries to deny your gifts and it hurts your feelings.
-“…Do you not like it?”
-Your pouty face is his weakness.
-“What? Nonononono that’s not what I meant! It’s just such an expensive gift, I don’t feel worthy.”
-After convincing, and hating seeing you get sad, he becomes more comfortable.
-Instead of denying your presents, he accepts them and thanks you endlessly.
-You bought him a new game console once and he SCREAMED. Even tho he mostly plays PC shhhhh
-The only words you hear are “thank you” for weeks.
-He’s embarrassed when you spoil him but he really appreciates that you buy him such nice things “just because”.

Zen:
-He was put off by the fact that you were rich just like Mr. Trust Fund Kid.
-But when he got to know you as a person, he learned that you were much different from Jumin.
-When you start dating, you always pay for dinner when you eat out. It kind of bums him because he wants to be a gentleman but you are very determined to pay for every date.
-You also stock his kitchen with food because he survived off of beer, water, and cigarettes before he met you.
-Bad Zen.
-But then, you start giving him really expensive presents.
-“Oh yeah, honey, I bought you a new motorcycle.”
-“YoU WHAT?!”
-“…I bought you a motorcycle?”
-Sh00k
-You give him tons of expensive gifts and he’s very flustered. He’s not materialistic, but he treasures everything you get him.
-He does feel guilty for letting you spoil him so he likes to spoil you too, just typically not with expensive things. He can’t afford that. More like he spoils you with attention and affection and you ain’t even mad.

Jaehee:
-She was disheartened when she first heard you were rich because she assumed you were a slave owner like Jumin.
-But when she actually started talking to you, she loved you.
-You weren’t a slave owner, you were just wealthy. Your money didn’t make you a snob like she stereotyped.
-She apologizes for assuming so much about you too.
-You buy her so much jewelry she runs out of places to keep it all.
-You easily solve that issue by buying more jewelry boxes to keep them in lol
-Even if they are store-bought, they always feel special when you give it to her.
-She was shocked that you wanted to buy her so many things.
-And you always say “cuz I love you, duh” when she asks you why.
-She thanks you over and over again for everything you give her and likes to give you things too.
-She buys you little things like your favorite snacks or anything within her price range she sees catch your eye while you’re shopping.
-Buy her a new coffee maker or special edition Zen DVDs and she will cry so many happy tears.

Jumin:
-Don’t buy him a car.
-He will destroy it.
-“Love, you really don’t need to buy me a new suit. I have plenty, plus I could pay for it myself, you know.”
-You can’t give him presents. He doesn’t allow it.
-He always uses the “I could just pay for it myself, it’s not necessary” excuse.
-But you really want to spoil him and buy him things to show him you love him.
-He eventually catches on and notices how sad you get when he denies your gifts.
-Instead of asking you about it, he starts accepting your gifts and giving you some in return.
-Did you really think he’d let you spoil him without getting the same treatment?
-It turns into you trying to one-up each other.
-You got me a car? Well I got you a yacht.
-jk you guys aren’t that crazy
-It’s much more reasonable items like jewelry and clothes, but still, it’s competitive.
-Both of you calm down from the competitiveness though and just buy each other small things on occasion when it catches your eye.

Saeyoung:
-Buy him a car.
-He has like 50 already but his eyes light up every time you get him one.
-He has a large amount of money to his name too.
-However he still eats like a poor man.
-You buy him healthier, better food other than chips and soda.
-So basically even though he has a lot of money, he spends it on various other things, so you spend your money on his health and wellbeing.
-Like food and nice clothes.
-This boy seriously neglects his own health so you’re doing him a lot of good.
-You spoil him with those kinds of things. You dote on him.
-You make sure he gets three healthy meals a day and you usually let him have snacks and dessert too because it makes him happy.
-He calls you motherly because of it, but he really does appreciate how much you care about him.
-He rewards you in kisses, and also tends to make you presents in return.

V:
-He grew up with a rich family in a rich neighborhood, so wealth wasn’t unheard of.
-Being rich doesn’t make you snobby or rude. V is actually a great example of that fact.
-Anyway, he knows that money doesn’t make you inherently bad.
-No judgement.
-He is very surprised when you buy him expensive presents.
-“Jihyun~ I bought you that new camera you’ve been wanting~”
-Being the kind of person he is, he doesn’t feel like he deserves such lovely gifts, but you do not take no for an answer.
-So in the end, he accepts your kindness and will give you many thank yous in return.
-He’ll give you thank you gifts too. They’re typically small and from the heart. Very thoughtful.
-V will insist you don’t need to buy him so many expensive things, but you spoil him anyway.
-Since he can’t change your mind, he just settles for trying to spoil you too. Usually with kindness.

Saeran:
-He’s impartial to money.
-It’s not important. It’s just needed to survive so you should at least have enough to meet basic needs, but he doesn’t think about money.
-You being rich doesn’t really faze him.
-He is confused and surprised when you start buying him expensive presents.
-You buy him everything he ever says he wants.
-Games? Got it. Ice cream? Got it. New clothes? Got it.
-He’s not sure how to respond and he’s very confused.
-It’s the first time someone ever bought things especially for him and took care of him. It’s very new to him.
-He really appreciates it because you put a lot of effort into spoiling him. It must mean you care a lot about him, right?
-He wants to return the favor, but he doesn’t really have the resources.
-He just thanks you a million times when you buy him things, especially if they’re ridiculously pricey.
-He feels so loved because of it.
-So loved ^w^

Jungkook Scenario: With All My Heart.

Request:  Hey! Please write a scenario with Jungkook in which you and him are a couple and let s say your financial situation wasn’t that good and on anniversaries you bought him not expensive but still cute gifts while he always spoiled you with beautiful presents and you felt uncomfortable cause you don’t want to make him think youre with him just because he had money.🙏💗

Genre: Fluff / Romance

Everything was set, you were giving the last touches to Jungkook’s gift, you’d placed it into a sleek black box with so much care and enthusiasm, it held a lot of meaning to you even if it was simple, but you guessed the simplicity of it was what made it the more special. You closed the box and tied the thin red ribbon on top with a huge smile on your lips. Now you only needed to get ready and make sure the dinner didn’t get burned, oh that would be so bad.

Giggling to yourself you placed Jungkook’s gift on your bed, going for a quick check up at the kitchen before showering. Jungkook had suggested to go out but you had insisted in doing something for him, it would make the day much more special and you wanted to do the effort to spoil your boyfriend as much as you could because Jungkook was always doing so many things for you, he just deserved it.

You got out of the bathroom after blow drying your hair and put on a red silky dress that Jungkook gifted you a few days ago, so what a better occasion to wear than your third anniversary? It was a fancy and fine piece of clothing that you absolutely didn’t want to know the price but were sure it was much more than you could currently pay for yourself. Your bank account had seen better times and you weren’t currently making much money, but it was ok, you were decided to manage the situation the best you could if only for pursuing your dream, being an artist meant a lot to you and these kind of bumps along the road weren’t about to make you feel bad about your decision.

Things weren’t that bad, you had just managed to cook a full dinner to your boyfriend, got a nice deal for the wine and also prepared a special gift for him, and alright, the gift was for free because you made it yourself but it didn’t make it less special, right? You looked at the box by the corner of your mattress, suddenly doubting, you’d put your heart into that gift, a full load of love and dedication into making it so it was enough, Jungkook was going to like it.

You took the gift box with you and went to get the table ready, the food was smelling deliciously and Jungkook wasn’t going to take much to arrive. As if on cue with your thoughts, the doorbell rang and that was definitely him. You almost jumped excited, and walked to the door with your heart fluttering, already anticipating Jungkook’s hug.

–Hi there gorgeous – your boyfriend said with that melodious voice of his, standing in your doorway while looking extremely attractive, dressed all black and his dark hair parted to the side. Sometimes you couldn’t believe your luck.

–Jungkook, hi – you bit onto your lower lip because you just couldn’t help yourself.

–These are for you – Jungkook was holding a bouquet of beautiful red roses for you, smiling pleased with the expression on your face. Then he pulled you closer to him, with his arm sneaking around your waist and his lips landed on yours with longing. –And this… is for you too–

You laughed against his lips, thankfully his kisses were for you only because god, did he know how to leave a girl trembling with those.

some alec and magnus headcanons:

(and more headcanons since i guess i can’t stop)

  • magnus is 100% the type of person who has a song for every occasion. alec knows almost none of them, but you’ll still catch him singing the lyrics he’s learned from magnus sometimes. he doesn’t have nearly the same sense of timing that magnus does though.
    • after alec leaves sometimes, magnus will sing the line “i’m outta my head hopelessly devoted to you” at the door behind him and alec catches him at it once but doesn’t let him know until he surprises him with a (terrible) rendition of the full song with the lyrics rewritten to be positive on what would have been his anniversary with lydia, if magnus hadn’t asked just once more. this is excellent timing. magnus cries.
  • magnus introduces alec to pop music. and to sex music – both the concept and his own playlist. alec thinks that maybe jace wasn’t always wrong about getting more familiar with the mundane world but he doesn’t regret putting it off til now for a second.
  • in addition to saying his full name as though it were the only word that’s ever mattered as a term of endearment, magnus calls alec “dear heart.” alec loves this more than anything.
  • magnus finds alec’s enthusiastic inexperience to be devastatingly charming in bed.
  • it helps also that alec takes direction well. extremely well.
  • alec, for his part, loves direction. loves knowing without doubt how to make magnus feel good. loves making magnus feel good. also he learns so much. soooooooo much. he had no idea there were so many positions for this type of thing. so many uses for hands and tongues. so many reasons to laugh in breathless, boundless joy while gettin’ jiggy with it (a phrase magnus bans him from using, can hardly believe he even uttered in the first place).
  • alec likes whiskey sours and pretty much no other kind of alcoholic beverage. (he can be talked into amaretto sours and will take orange juice in either – the latter is how magnus excuses their occasional breakfast drinking: “it’s just a variation on the mimosa theme, alexander.” he looks up at alec from over his own full glass, coy in full effect. “drink with me.” alec’s weak for this and he’s fine with it.) it takes them an entire day devoted to finding alec a drink he likes to discover it and as soon as magnus sees alec with it, he thinks “duh” and never offers him vodka anything ever again.
  • alec does get righteously drunk on vodka once – straight vodka, on his own. something goes bad at the institute – magnus never does find out quite what – and neither izzy nor jace are speaking to alec, for their own reasons, and alec shows up at magnus’ loft drunk off his ass. he chose vodka because it seemed faster and painful – magnus sees him gazing at his raw hand on the fire escape – and he pukes over and over and over again with magnus leaning over him feeling murderous towards everyone who had anything to do with alec feeling this way. they get through the night in magnus’ bathroom, alec telling him painful, incoherent things the whole time. magnus does not cure his hangover the next day, though he wants to, because he does not do things to alec’s body without permission – bar instances of immediate threat to alec’s life or someone else’s – and he does not have permission.
    • (there’s one particular story that alec tells about how proud his mother was of him taking a punishment doled out when he was a child, for being too good at something – “no one even knew it hurt, i couldn’t lay on my back for a week, but no one knew,” he tells magnus proudly. magnus thinks seriously that he’s going to be the one puking now. he also thinks that someone should save all four of maryse’s kids from her and save her from herself if that’s at all possible at this point. he thinks he’s gonna have to not be in a room with her for a very long time.)
  • after that alec decides that talking to magnus while sober is always a better dealing-with-shit strategy if he doesn’t want to wake up to his boyfriend insisting that he unpack some of the emotional issues he accidentally spilled to him and holding an overwhelming plate of the world’s fluffiest pancakes, saying, “you’re gonna wanna eat sooner rather than later, alec. yes i know this sucks, dear heart, but trust me. also, try to drink your body weight in water, starting right now.”
  • magnus has little to no concept of alec being just as gone on him as he is on alec and when alec figures that out, he spends a lot more time staring lovingly at magnus when they talk. he also gets a lot more handsy in public and magnus has had to pull him off of more than a few people who make snide comments about a warlock with a shadowhunter. soon, the spell where he pulls alec back by the fist is so familiar to them both that alec routinely takes it into a full backwards somersault and pops up on his feet at magnus’ side, where magnus has stepped to give him room to stick the landing.
  • magnus has a thing for ’90s bollywood. alec is still trying to figure out which songs are imaginary and which are actually happening in the story. he learns how to say “i love you” in hindi though and uses it a lot. he also uses the pet names he picks up, though he hasn’t quite grasped the pronunciations for most of them yet. he’s trying and honestly, most of the time magnus can’t hear it past the pounding of his pulse in his ears anyway because alec doesn’t do terms of endearment lightly so magnus doesn’t hear them lightly.
  • the first time magnus saw alec without his pants on he said, “boxer briefs, thank god.”
    • he followed this up by licking just above the waistband where it rested on alec’s stomach, hands on alec’s hips. this set off the biggest stutter spell in alec to date, which only calmed down after magnus kissed him on the mouth three times, i.e. once he had no choice but to use all his air for recovery.
  • magnus buys a punching bag for his loft. for shirtless alec reasons.
  • using it is alec’s version of “come hither” at least half the time.
  • they get caught fooling around in alec’s room at the institute – by clary, of course, because she, like jace, has no concept of knocking – exactly once before they never do that again. jace actually has to pay raj off to get him to stop talking about it. raj was passing by when clary spooked them and they started grabbing clothes and pulling on the wrong ones (magnus too frazzled to magick them clothed again which has never happened in his life but being intimate with alec just. throws him the fuck off his game) and he regards it as the best moment of his life. alec and magnus regard it as one of their worst. although that thing with his tongue that alec had figured out how to do just before that moment was pretty special, in magnus’ opinion.
  • alec is drifting one morning, laying against magnus’ chest in their bed, when he asks about the name magnus’ mother gave him. magnus tells him. “mm,” alec buzzes. “i think we should offer that name to the first child we adopt. they can take it as a middle name maybe.” and then he’s gone, completely asleep. magnus’ heart trembles.

I always wonder whenever I come across someone who ships Jason/Tim, so I just thought I'd actually ask for once: how do you think Bruce would react when he discovered they were in a relationship? I mean, they're not technically related but he does consider them his sons and has adopted them both. Plus, there was the whole time when Jason seemed to hate Tim and even tried to kill him. There's also the possibility of it affecting their vigilantism.

OOF.

A fair but loaded question- and you’ve come to the absolute, most inarticulate person on this hellsite. Buckle up friend, we’re going on this journey of discovery together.

Quick question, how do you make the reader cry?

It varies from person to person, so don’t be disappointed if not enough people are crying! Different things “get” to different people, and that’s something you can’t help.

I will say this. The cheap, 100% successful but I’ll-never-forgive-you way to make me cry is to kill off a pet. The Handmaiden’s Tale by Margaret Atwood is serious and thought-provoking and honestly sad throughout, but the worst part was when one of the characters had to kill the family cat. A cat that loved them and trusted them… I’m tearing up just thinking about it. :(

Other than killing animals, a few things should help out, though…

Form an emotional connection

A lot of times, people cry when someone they care about is hurt. If you help readers form an emotional connection to your characters, it’s a lot more devastating when something tragic happens.

The exact HOW of that connection is more tricky. Your readers have unique tastes when it comes to characters, so making a character that everyone falls in love with is really hard, if not impossible. So don’t stress too much. You can’t force it. If you just focus on building your characters as unique, complex individuals, then the rest will fall into place. Some readers will gravitate toward some characters, and others toward other characters.

Make it unfair, and make your character helpless.

Most readers like having someone to root for. Even if the character stumbles on occasion, when they rise back up, we cheer. But what if they’re beaten down so hard, so brutally, that something breaks inside that character–to the point where they’ll never be the same again? (P.S, this doesn’t have to be a physical “beating”… but just some kind of tragic event)

A lot of people crave that happy ending. They want good to triumph, and evil to fail. It’s justice, it’s karma doing it’s job, it’s what’s “right” and how it should be. So when evil actually wins, it can be tough to swallow.

American movies almost always have that happy ending, at least to some degree–it’s almost expected at this point. But try watching a French drama some time. They can be a LOT more depressing. (In particular, watch “La Haine”… it was so good, and yes, I cried…)

Encourage empathy.

I can’t remember the name of it, but a few years ago I read a book that had me BAWLING only a few chapters in. I cried through basically the entire thing.

Long story short, the character had died and became a guardian angel-type person for one of the living. At the beginning, I didn’t know the character very well yet, but the way he reflected on things was just plain depressing. He made me think about all the people who die young through something unlucky and tragic, and who won’t get to experience all the things they wanted to. He didn’t say it in a self-pitying way, but rather in a reflective and kind of hopeless way that made me think along the same lines as him.

It’s tough to do, but if you can write honestly and openly about serious topics, your reader will take matters seriously and open up in return. It forces them to think about topics that they don’t want to think about. (like mortality)

Hope this gives you some ideas! By the way, when a reader tells you that your story made them cry or get a little weepy-eyed… it’s a really wonderful feeling. Writers can be pretty sadistic, huh?

Female Korean-American Teenager

Hi, I’m Caroline, and as the title states, I’m a female Korean-American teen currently living in a town that’s 80% white. The majority of East Asians living here are Japanese, and over the years, there have been a few sprinklings of new Korean or Chinese families moving in. For the most part, however, my family was the only Korean family in town when we first came here. This heavily impacted my childhood - made me ashamed of my culture and ethnicity - and of course, the racism that I constantly faced from classmates, parents, teachers, and sometimes even friends, was exhausting.

It means so much to me to see Korean-American characters - or any person of color, really - be represented in today’s books, TV shows, movies, etc. For once, I’d like to see fully-fleshed out, complex characters who are people of color - not just the 2D stereotypes that too many forms of media put them out to be. So if a few more writers out there become less ignorant due to this post, I’ll be forever grateful.

So. Let’s do this thing!

Beauty Standards

Most East Asians represented in today’s media have extremely straight, practically black hair. And while it’s true that straight, black hair is the most common trait regarding hair amongst Koreans, there are (*gasp*) a few of us with curly hair, too. (Moi.) To the Koreans I knew, anyways, my hair was always an object of envy. I’d frequently be asked if I got the perm, and whenever I said I had naturally curly hair, there’d be a lot of “oh, how lucky"s going around. That made me feel pretty special, only it’d last for a short while before the reality of living in a mostly-white neighborhood kicked in, where my curly hair was usually made fun of. (Usually saying that Asians don’t have curly hair. Whatever. On the whole scale of racist comments I’ve been sent, the one about my hair is the least bothersome. When I was a kid, it bothered me a lot, though, and I think to some extent, it still bothers me at least a teeny bit - I actually started to straighten my hair when I went into eighth grade. Yup, give me the Hypocrite of the Year Award. I still need some adjustments.)

Amongst Koreans, there’s also a lot of emphasis on having a small face, long and skinny legs, a fairly short torso…essentially, Koreans thrive for the typical European figure. Koreans, however, have pretty round faces, short and stalky legs, and long torsos for the most part. (With the exception of a few - and of course, the option for plastic surgery is always out there. I shit you not, almost every Korean woman I know have at least either (a) known someone who went through plastic surgery or (b) have been in plastic surgery myself. It’s a big deal in South Korea. My grandma had surgery done to her eyes twice, my mom’s friend had surgery done to her nose and her eyes, and my aunt’s brother is actually a plastic surgeon who does operations a number of times a day.)

Clothing

Growing up, I wore the typical American clothing - except for on special occasions, like my first birthday or New Year’s. On those days, I’d wear a hanbok, which is a traditional Korean gown with lots of colors and embroidery. The men would wear traditional clothing as well, and it’s customary for Koreans to wear these especially on New Year’s. Now, since my brothers and I have outgrown our hanboks, we just stick to American clothes on New Year’s.

Daily Struggles

Though I tell all my white friends and classmates that my first language is English, my first language was actually Korean. I don’t say that my first language is Korean anymore because firstly, I don’t want people to think of me as someone who only speaks Korean and secondly, I don’t know how to speak Korean anymore. It’s sad, really, because I can understand Korean much better than my siblings and my cousins, and there are moments when I can almost remember a phrase, but as of now, speaking the language is an extreme difficulty and embarrassment to me, especially when I’m surrounded by elders. (And usually, the only things I can say to them are ‘hello’ and ‘thank you’ and ‘goodbye’.) It’s frustrating to speak to older Koreans and know exactly what they’re saying but only being able to respond in English.

That being said, growing up, I often had to translate - more specifically, re-translate - for my mother, who didn’t know English at all when I was a child. She used to feel incredibly lonely for it, and often times, she’d feel frustrated and cry about how all of the white mothers acted like she was an idiot for not knowing English. As an extreme social butterfly, this really hurt my mother, and it hurt her even more when her own children were starting to distance themselves because of the language barrier. I remember having to sit with my mother on the couch and help her learn English - and it was, to be honest, one of the saddest experiences I’ve ever had to go through. She’d grow frustrated with herself, and she’d hate every bit of it, I could tell, but she kept going because she wanted to be there for her kids. (She eventually got her American citizenship, too, but by doing so, she had to give up her Korean citizenship. Most East Asian countries don’t allow dual citizenships.) And though I don’t speak Korean anymore, I actually continue to re-translate things for my mother - in other words, I just have to simplify the English a little bit to get her to understand what someone else is saying. (This method works for anyone else who is struggling with English. Simplify the words, that’s all - but don’t treat the person with disrespect.)

And, of course, there’s the very exhausting series of questions that come with being Korean. The most annoying and frustrating are (but not limited to) -

  • “Oh, so are you South Korean or North Korean?” (Bruh. If I was North Korean, there’s a VERY slim chance I’d be in America right now. I’d still be stuck in North Korea, wouldn’t I?)
  • “But what’s your nationality?” (American.) “No, I mean your REAL nationality.“
  • “What are you? Japanese? Chinese? Vietnamese?” (For some reason, NO ONE GUESSES KOREAN.)
  • “Wow, your English is great!” (???)
  • “English is your best subject? Wait, then what about math?” (…)
  • “I bet you’re super smart!” (…I study hard, yeah, but that has nothing to do with the fact that I’m Korean.)
  • “Oh, my God, Koreans are SO hot.” (Ew. Times a thousand.)

Dating and Relationships

My parents are pretty strict about my nonexistent love life. If my dad had it his way, I wouldn’t be allowed to date until I’m out of college. But for real talk, my mom’s actually the one who’s much pickier on who I date. She told me since I was a kid that it’d be best for me to date (and marry) another Korean-American. She means this out of the goodness of her heart - mostly that she wants me to marry someone who I can connect with culturally. (“Regular Koreans will be too grounded into Korea. You need someone with similar experiences.”) My dad just doesn’t want me to date anyone Japanese - and while I find this wrong, it’s mostly due to the bad blood between Korea and Japan. (World War II, the Korean War, comfort women, etc.)

And because of this prejudice against Japanese people, my dad always found it difficult to accept that I had a few Japanese friends. He often wanted me to stray away from other Eastern-Asians in general, American or not. (Unless, of course, it was for dating/marrying.) This was because he didn’t want me to become a part of “THAT Asian group”, which, let me just say, is pretty sad, because when there’s a group of white kids hanging around, no one finds it strange. When there’s a big group of x friends of x race, it’s suddenly SUCH an odd sight.

Food

This is where I try to restrain myself for real.

The most common foods you’ll find at a Korean dinner table are rice, kimchi (which is basically spicy pickled cabbage - lots of Koreans eat it, but I personally never did. And I still don’t. Oops), kim (pronounced keem - basically roasted and dried, slightly salted seaweed strips. Which are really good), along with a number of side-dishes and maybe one big, main dish. (Mostly meat.)

Favorite Korean dishes include

  • seolleongtang, a lightly salted broth with oxtail meat, or sometimes some other kind of meat. There’s usually a sprinkling of scallions, and rice or noodles can be served inside.
  • kalbi, the famous Korean BBQ. Just imagine meat being prepared directly in front of you served with veggies. Delicious, but be warned - your burps will stink - and I mean stink - afterwards. Its variant, kalbi jim, are slow-cooked short ribs served often with Korean-style steamed potatoes and carrots. Just as good.
  • tangsuyuk, sweet and sour (mostly sweet, I think, anyways,) pork. The pork is covered with a batter that is fried and then typically dunked in sweet sauce. Some people like to have the sauce on the side so they can dip it in - and still save the crunch. It’s a personal preference.
  • buchimgae, otherwise known as Kimchi Pancakes. Korean pancakes are not your typical breakfast pancakes. They’re made in a pan, like regular breakfast pancakes, but inside, there’s an assortment of seafood, veggies, and in this version, kimchi. (There are spicy and non-spicy versions).
  • tteokbokki, spicy rice cakes. Very chewy and again, pretty spicy.

Favorite Korean sweets/desserts/snacks include

  • tteok, sweet rice cakes. There are many different kinds of rice cake, usually with flavors of classical red bean or green tea. The favorite of many children is the classical rainbow tteok, where the rice cakes are dyed with strips of green, pink, and yellow. The flavor of plain tteok is actually not too sweet, but it’s still a very classic, very traditional and cultural Korean dessert that cannot be skipped over.
  • yakbap, a very special type of sweet rice cake all on its own. This is a favorite amongst many, and the rice is prepared in a way that it’s sticky and brown. Pine nuts, chestnuts, and jujubes as well as raisins are mixed in.
  • patbingsu, a frozen dessert. Think of an evolved form of shave ice with toppings like red bean paste, nuts, and fruit. Extremely popular in South Korea, not to mention one of its most iconic desserts.
  • saeoosnek, shrimp-flavored crackers. Again, a very popular snack that’s exactly what it sounds like. Crackers. With. Shrimp. Flavoring.
  • choco pie, a popular chocolate-marshmallow cake that looks similar to America’s moon pie. Extremely popular amongst children.

Holidays

In my family, we never celebrated the direct Korean celebrations, but we always celebrated the Korean New Year the traditional way. Again, usually dressed in hanbok, children (and parents) would bow down to the oldest members of the family and pay their respects with a traditional phrase. They also have to perform a special bow three times while saying this phrase. (There are two different bows - one for men, one for women.) Once doing so, the elder usually gives a blessing to the family members and presents them with an envelope of money, very similar to the traditional Chinese red envelope they receive on their New Year’s celebration.

Another traditional Korean celebration my family - and many other Korean families, I’m sure - celebrate is the 100 Days birthday.

A brief history lesson - back when Korea was suffering due to the economy failing, it was a rare occurrence to ever see a child live past one hundred days. Once one hundred days had passed, then the family would rejoice and throw a large celebration, inviting friends, extended family members. There’d be lots of food and laughter and different rituals all dedicated to the child. Now, of course, Korea’s economic situation is not the same as it was back then, but we still hold these celebrations for tradition and cultural reasons.

One of the most important rituals in the 100 Days birthday is sitting the baby down in front of a variety of items - usually a coin, a pen, a length of twine, a book, food, and sometimes other variants of those items. If the child picks up a coin, then it is to be predicted that this child will live a wealthy life. If the child picks up a pen or a book, then it is to be predicted that this child will grow to become a scholar. If the child picks up food, then it is to be predicted that this child will never go hungry. If the child picks up the length of twine (or sometimes string or a spool of thread), then it is to be predicted that this child will live a long life. Some families believe in this, others don’t, but either way, this ritual is performed because hey, tradition! (And besides, it makes for pretty cute pictures.)

Home/Family Life

Korean families and Korean home-life, I feel, will always have a different atmosphere from white families. Most Korean parents are very reserved when it comes to public displays of affection for their children, though like all families, this can vary. Independence and learning how to grow an outer shell is very important to the Korean lifestyle. This doesn’t mean that Korean parents don’t love their children - of course they do, and again, all Korean families work differently. However, this pattern and discipline is a common thing to find in most Korean families.

There’s a certain emphasis on studying - and no, not all Korean parents are super strict about grades and threaten to beat their children if they get a B on a report card. (At least, my parents didn’t.) However, education is still considered a top priority. Studying is encouraged, and most Korean parents want to see their children secure a good job (ie doctor, lawyer, engineer, etc). Most of the time, Korean parents just want to see their children live a secured life. That’s it. At least, with my parents, everything they ever taught me or told me had something to do with me learning to survive when I become older. I used to resent this when I was a kid, but now that I’ve grown more mature, I actually find myself appreciating everything my parents have ever taught me.

Another note - when a Korean woman marries, she is cut off from her birth family and is considered to only be a part of her husband’s family. This limits her visits to her own birth family - and though this was a common thing before, I believe many Korean families don’t operate the same way anymore. (Some traditions last longer than others.)

Elders are respected. Period. Even if s/he’s getting on your nerves, you ALWAYS RESPECT THE ELDERS.

Shoes are taken off before entering a house. No exceptions to this rule. If you wanna impress your Korean friend, take off your damn shoes. This will be appreciated.

Things I’d like to see less of.

  • people thinking that “all Koreans get hot when they’re older”. (FETISHIZATION IS A BIG NO-NO.)
  • Koreans being seen as submissive and docile creatures. (Note how I said creatures and not humans. Because that’s how some people treat Koreans and other East Asians. Like we’re creatures, rather than actual human beings.)
  • Koreans being seen as kickass ninjas. (It’s either docile creatures or kickass ninjas. There’s never a line between the two, and it’s exhausting.)
  • “Koreans are so romantic!” (Sorry, that’s the K-drama binge talking. If anything, Koreans are pretty reserved when it comes to PDA and again, affection in general. Of course, I can’t speak for all Koreans, but at least with my family, PDA was always kept to a minimum. Usually a quick peck on the lips, kisses on the cheek, hand-holding, etc. Never an actual full kiss in public. Forget about make-out sessions.)
  • Stone-cold Koreans. (Again, there’s either the romantic Korean or the Terminator Korean. Never an in-between. Yes, keep in mind that due to cultural reasons, Koreans don’t typically display affection. THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE DON’T DISPLAY EMOTIONS.)
  • Straight-A Koreans. Typically good at math and science. (While yes, many East Asian countries and families put emphasis on these subjects, not all Koreans happen to be extreme nerds who cry at a B on a report card. Example A - I happen to stink at math. And I know many other Asian-Americans who also stink at math. So.)
  • Assuming Korean parents are abusive. (While there are many abusive Korean parents out there, people need to stop assuming that right off the bat. Stop. It’s extremely disrespectful, not to mention just wrong?!)

Things i’d like to see more of.

  • complex, well-rounded Korean characters. (Give me a Korean character who hates math but still tries to do well in class. Give me a Korean character who’s bisexual and surrounded by loving family members. Give me a Korean character who likes roller-skating and getting high in the bathroom stalls and sings Jackson 5 all day. Give me a Korean character who goes out to be homecoming queen and buffs her nails while fighting demons. Give me a Korean character who cries, laughs, talks, breathes, LIVES like an actual human being, and you’ll get the respect of hundreds - maybe thousands - of readers and viewers who’ve been waiting for so long to be properly represented.)

Staple closet pieces? Including shoes and jewelry 😊

Alright this is going to be a long post…

My personal style can be described as classy and elegant with a twist of edgyness. Think elegant Kendall Jenner x Bella Hadid x Ulyana Sergeenko candid & formal photos.

Although it happens that I put less effort into dressing for university and other unimportant stuff like just running errands or do some small shopping in town because frankly, I don’t care and do not have to impress anyone with my 900€ shoes and 3,500€ coat. I live in a small town, so this just adds to me feeling indifferent. It doesn’t happen often, but still.. it does happen. However, when I am in a big, fancy town, I of course dress to impress and like I’m about to see my worst enemy. I think that this should go without saying haha!

Aside from that my style is as I have described above.

I used to buy stuff from H&M and Zara a lot and mix it with high-end designers, but now it all shifted to just high-end designers. It’s just personal preference. I am fed up with the poor quality and designer knock-offs. I very much cherish the improved quality that I have with designer pieces. Although the quality from oh so many pieces is pretty ridiculous too, to be honest! Do not think that designers necessarily offer the very best quality for their price. Most of the time the prices they charge can’t possibly ever be justified with the quality of their merchandise. It’s just the name you are paying for, really. This is why my #1 mission is always to look for the best quality in anything. I can see a Valentino dress that is so god damn gorgeous and not like the fabric. Or the beads and embellishments seem to be very cheap. I will not buy it, although I regret it because it’s stunning but whatev.

Understand that I am on a monthly budget just as everyone else is. Yes, I might have a whole wardrobe bursting with luxury and designer names, but I have amassed this all over years, with roughly 80% of my own money and 20% of SD money. I am a very practical person and buy clothing, shoes and jewellry that I am able to wear every day and for any occasion. There are some occasional SPECIAL purchases too, of course. But only when I see something seriously special. I had a phase in which I bought at least 20 pairs or so of Louboutins.. and how many have I actually worn out? Maybe…6? This, too, taught me to be practical.

As for jewellry, I generally don’t wear jewellry except for my gorgeous silver ring that looks like a flower made of tiny diamonds, with a beautiful big black pearl in the center of it. It is very special to me. As for earrings, I alternate between beautiful pearl studs when I want to look all preppy, classy and elegant (I think that they also make me look younger, funnily enough) and diamond studs and chandeliers sometimes for daytime and evening as well. I don’t care. I wear stuff that is supposed to be worn in the evenings in the day, too. It adds to the ‘uniqueness’ of my style which sets me apart from others.

Please mind that I am not going to drop designer names (xcept for four) because well, I don’t want to seem like an arrogant, overly spoiled brat who just wants to show off. No! I am happy to provide you with pictures or whatever in private, if a certain piece has piqued your interest or if you want to know which pieces I exactly have, so just gimme a shout.

So, my general staple pieces for the day would be:

* A few pairs of skinny jeans - lighter denim colour without wash, one distressed black one (I like the slits at the knee), a normal black one, a mid-dark denim with a subtle wash. I only wear skinny jeans at this point in my life, with a seldom exception. Full length and I very much like ankle length or a little over the ankle in summer. Skinny jeans accentuate my lean and long legs - and I like to shift focus on my legs.

* Skinny black leather pants. Normal ones, not like the Givenchy & Saint Laurent zipper thing.

* This seldom exception would be one pair of black high-waisted, perfectly tailored trousers that are overall just a little bit wider.

* Two pairs of black cigarette trousers like Audrey Hepburn used to wear.

* As for t-shirts and tank tops, I like basic black and white ones. Round-neck, V-neck, doesn’t matter. I do not like any kind of prints unless it’s an okay print. Well I guess I am guilty of owning the black & white Balmain tank tops with the three golden buttons on the left shoulder haha but these are the only printed shirts in my wardrobe because they do add a little bit of sophisticated edge to my day looks.

* Elegant silk blouses are also a must in my wardrobe. Here, I like playful pussy bow blouses and a bit more ‘daring’, statement blouses. Although I do not like statement or ‘IT’ pieces in general and usually stay far away from them. I like to wear these blouses with my black high-waisted trousers.

* I am a sucker for coats. I own a lot of coats. Fur and normal ones. I adore a good camel coat and am also a sucker for military-inspired coats. The colours of my choice, for normal coats, would be camel, black and navy at this time. Other colours for fur coats.

* I fucking love capes and have quite a few. Black ones, mid-length to the middle of the thigh I’d say.

* Jumpers / Longsleeves / etc. Here, I am always looking for good quality cashmere, and wool. Mainly wearing them in autumn and winter. I like turtleneck pieces a lot.

* Warm Scarves - all my scarves are of a cashmere/silk mix. I also wear them when it’s cold or just throw them over my shoulders on a chilly summer night when I’m out at a dinner party or so.

* Fancy Scarves - silk. I sometimes wear them under/over a blazer, with a normal button down shirt and a high-waisted skirt.

* Skirts - one high-waisted black leather mini skirt, a black high-waisted heavy wool skirt / knee length

* Shorts - different pairs of mini denim shorts, beautiful lace mini shorts, black leather mini shorts

* Blazers - oh boy. I love blazers. I have so many. Again, black and navy coloured blazers. I have this beautiful slim, perfectly tailored black blazer that is a bit longer than a usual blazer - just beautiful. one of my fav pieces.

* Jackets - love. black leather jackets for the edge, but elegant leather jackets. I also dig black leather jackets with a beautiful embroidery on the back side. and uhm *coughs* of course the classic - the Chanel jacket. normal black and beige. is an absolute must have. and so versatile! I have the cropped versions as they fit my body far better than the regular length ones.

* Dresses - oh uh. I collect dresses. For any occasion. However I prefer short dresses, above knee length and mini dresses. Do have a couple of mid-calf length dresses, though. Here I say that the fancier the dress, the better. But it still has to look absolutely beautiful and not dramatic. Although I would have loved to have that black/red and red Proenza Schouler ostrich feather dresses just because they look so badass.. but where the hell would I have worn it to.. that’s the other question haha! I love brocade, I love silk, I love lace, I love velvet dresses. My dress colours are usually black and red but I also do have some white, silver, blue dresses. As for the regular shopping day in town, I just wear a long black dress with gladiator flats and that’s it. Dun care. Bye, Felicias.

* Shoes - sexy black high pumps, the famous espadrilles (I like wearing them in summer with my ankle-length skinnys), the famous Balenciaga boots with the cutouts at the sides and the two buckles with silver hardware, not gold (literally every Russian jetset baby has these boots omg haha), velveteen ballet flats, silken/satin ballet flats, gladiator sandals (which are bound up to the knee), sexy suede overknee boots - I like my overknee boots to be of mid-thigh length, sneakers (have so many omg..leather and suede (apart from the one pair of Nike sneakers I like to wear on long haul flights. various models, various colours), various black combat boots that look more delicate than ugly and harsh, lace-up high heels, platform pumps, I LOVE high heels! gosh… it’s hard to describe without naming the designers and the particular models because it all sounds so vague and ugly haha! I like classy shoes as much as I like very special models like embellished shoes or just some fancy colours, etc.

* Silk Pajamas - I have a pair of baby pink ones and a pair of baby blue ones.

* Lingerie - am a lingerie addict, but which girl isn’t?

* Silk Robes - long dressing robes, short morning robes, everything. Black, white, red, and the pastel colours from above (babypink, babyblue)

* Invest in good stockings! Quite a few pairs of normal black ones. And black ones with the sexy seam at the backside for more..well, special evenings and occasions ;)

* Hats - Maison Michel; different colours, made of felt

These are pretty much my staples. I am so sure that I have forgotten many many other things, but this should suffice. I have written a post on my personal fragrance choices which you might want to check out if you are interested in this as well!

  • okay but im really bad at prince au’s and im shookt that y'all are actually requesting for more??
  • my second post of jeno for his birthday!
  • i hope i don’t ruin it with my bad writing oh my
  • okay i’ll try my best to make this as entertaining as possible
  • let’s go

  • so, your father works as a driver for the royal family

  • your mom, one of the cooks in the castle
  • and both of them are well loved by the family
  • and has been there ever since jeno was born
  • your mom even helped take care and look after jeno for a period of time because the king and queen trusts her that much
  • they even offered them to stay in the castle, together with you
  • and they had no choice but to agree
  • which is why you met jeno when y'all were like 5/6
  • he was already really attractive at that time
  • but your mom always told you, “he’s the prince!! remember to respect him”
  • which is why you tried not to have feelings for him
  • which failed in the end anyways
  • really kind and innocent!!
  • as a kid he loved playing so he’d always go up to you and play
  • you remember how he’d always knock on the room of your door
  • “y/n!! want to come play with me?”
  • “mother said that i can go the garden with you!”
  • “me?”
  • “yes! come on, let’s go”
  • and he already had his eyesmiles™ and cute little smile which always made you so happy
  • eventually y'all got closer, and became bestfriends
  • as you grew older you start to realise how wonderful it is because
  • you’re best friends with a prince???
  • such a good looking one to be exact??
  • but jeno has never seen himself as someone who is of ‘high authority’ just because of his status as a prince
  • so he’s really casual and laidback
  • you even forget that he’s the prince at times
  • except when he gets all serious and mature, during discussions involving the country
  • or when he needs to represent the queen at meetings or occasions
  • and it’s all when he looks most attractive
  • loves adventure a lot!!
  • so he drags you along to go visit the woods & forests or town
  • “sometimes it gets really hard being a prince, it’s tiring”
  • “aw jeno, i know. but everyone loves you though!!”
  • “haha yeah, but i need a break sometimes”
  • “-and i’m thankful for you, thank you for being my best friend ever since we were young”
  • “not a problem at all, my majesty”
  • “stop that haha”
  • “hope that made you feel better, i’m thankful for you too”
  • prince haechan and mark often comes over to hang out with y'all
  • and for some reason haechan would always tease the both of you
  • “hey y/n, ever thought of becoming the next princess?”
  • “perhaps.. princess lee?”
  • and you’re just blushing there, confused
  • “haechan, don’t tease her”
  • “aw someone’s protective”
  • and you turn over to see a blushing jeno too
  • until one day he drags you out for another exploring session
  • into a small little park/forest
  • and he takes a deep breath
  • “you know how haechan always says those things? it’s true”
  • “what-?”
  • “i mean, would you like to be my princess?”
  • “i’ve had feelings for you for a long time now”
  • and you’re literally shaking and too shocked and happy to say anything
  • “i like you too jeno but-”
  • “but?”
  • “idk if this will work out, i mean you’re such an important figure and im just-”
  • “don’t say that! i’m sure we’ll be happy”
  • “what’s more, father said he’d support us”
  • “you asked the king? oh my”
  • “yes!! hehe so, are we together now?”
  • “yes i can’t believe this”
  • and when y'all go back to the castle,
  • your parents are just shookt and speechless to say anything
  • but they’re happy for you too
  • same for the king and queen
  • they had always knew jeno had feelings for you
  • and they both love you a lot so!!
  • tries his best not to show too much skinship in front the guards and servants
  • but at times
  • he’d lowkey give you a peck on the cheek
  • and also slip his arm around your waist
  • probably loves riding on the horse with you,
  • going on small little rides down the town or around the castle- honestly he’s more like a friend than a prince?
  • he’s really kind-hearted and sweet too
  • which is why almost everybody loves him
  • one time he was in the town just waking around casually
  • he gave up his sweater for an old lady, and even offered to help her things
  • which gained quite a lot of attention because everyone’s all like
  • “look at how kind the prince is!!”
  • “prince jeno, thank you for your kindness”
  • “bless you, my child”
  • and all that
  • which is also one of the reasons why you love him
  • he’s just great as a person
  • i’ll stop here ahh
  • this is so short im sorry!!
ya’ll... we gotta talk about this.

Nameless ~The One Thing You Must Recall~

ALL ABOARD THE FEELS TRAIN TO FEELSTOWN… FEELS TRAIN BOARDING NOW!

So, I just finished playing through every good ending for every route in Nameless. I accomplished this in a matter of three days. Three. Days. That’s how phenomenal this game is. I never thought anything would ever come close to my love for Mystic Messenger. Nameless blew me away. Everything about this game is beautiful. Beautiful art, beautiful soundtrack, beautiful voice acting, beautiful characters. I didn’t expect anything less from Cheritz. For those who aren’t familar with Nameless, it is a fully voiced visual novel-style game from Cheritz, the developers of the extremely popular mobile game Mystic Messenger. With Christmas basically here, I REALLY WANT EVERY ONE TO PURCHASE THIS GAME AND PLAY IT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I PINKY SWEAR. I’M GOING TO TRY AND CONVINCE YOU.

The game description as found on Steam is:  “Eri (the name is replaceable) is a high school student and everything about her seems ordinary except she has a special hobby. Eri is into collecting ball-jointed dolls made from the doll company, Crobidoll. Although she treats her dolls like her real family, she cannot talk about them to even her "normal” best friends. With her parents living overseas, she was left all alone after her grandpa’s death. She started to rely on her dolls to escape from her loneliness. Then, one day, she had a dream about feathers coming out of her diary and when she woke up, she heard strange sounds coming from her kitchen…”

Now, let me just tell you. This game was full of emotions, just like Mystic Messenger. To be corny, it’s a literal roller-coaster of emotions. This game has made me feel really happy, this game has made me literally laugh out loud, and I have shed actual tears due to this game on multiple occasions. The characters are so precious and dear to me, and they all have their own individual problems. They are not perfect, they are flawed. Just like in reality, no one is perfect. I absolutely love games, ESPECIALLY otome games, that embrace that. And Cheritz is extremely good at this, as much in Nameless as in Mystic Messenger. I’ll tell you my opinions on the characters, of course with no spoilers, to further convince you to buy this game. I hate comparing characters, but for Mystic Messenger fans (AKA all of my followers), I will compare since I saw a lot of similarities.

Nameless’s MC, Eri | You can change the name to whatever name you wish in the beginning of the game. She is a freshman at her school, and she lives by herself in her grandfather’s house. Her parents are extremely busy and work overseas, so she lived with her grandfather from an early age. I really, really like this MC. I found her extremely relatable. She has such a gentle heart, but she has pessimistic tendencies and is mature for her age.

Lance | I really enjoyed Lance. He was Eri’s first ball-jointed doll, and the only one that was around when Eri’s grandpa was alive. He’s very smart, but he can be pretty cold at times. He is in the same freshman class as Eri, and is popular against his wishes. He doesn’t really express himself well in front of others. He acts like he doesn’t care about you, but actually cares a lot. He’s a classic tsundere. I couldn’t really compare him to anyone in MysMe personality wise, he’s his own person. I cried during his route.

Yeonho | Yeonho was Eri’s second doll. He had an owner before Eri, but he was sold at auction, with Eri as the winning bid. I absolutely LOVE Yeonho. He is so so so so so sweet. I want to love and protect him forever, the precious angel. I would definitely call him the Yoosung of Nameless. His voice even sounds similar to Yoosung. He is also in the same freshman class with Eri and Lance. He REALLY loves Eri, and is really attached to her. He’s 100% a yandere. He is also really popular at school and he is known as the Yellow Chick. I can’t really get to much into his character without spoiling anything.

Yuri | I like to call Yuri a Jumin-Zen hybrid, with some differences. He is very narcissistic and flirtatious, ESPECIALLY towards Eri. He is very fashion forward, and spends a lot of money on clothes and material items. Out of all the dolls, he appears the most mature physically. He enjoys music, and plays the drums really well. He teaches music at Eri’s school. He appears frivolous, but is actually pretty serious when is alone with Eri. Again, I can’t go into detail without spoiling. I cried during his route.

Tei | I think Tei is probably my favorite route, for many reasons that I can’t disclose without spoiling. I would compare him most to Jumin. He acts like the “mother/father” of the group, but he is actually very complicated. He is the most popular of the group at school, a sophomore, and works in a cafe part-time. I think that he has such a kind heart. I would say that he loves Eri the most out of everyone. Also a yandere. I definitely cried during his route.

Red | And lastly, we have darling Red, warrior of justice! Yes, I said “warrior of justice.” That wasn’t an error. Sounds like our dear defender of justice, Seven Zero Seven, doesn’t it? He reminds me SO MUCH of Seven sometimes, even his voice acting. He’s definitely his own person though. He’s innocent, kind of naive, and very slow at times. That just adds to his cuteness. He is full of energy and is bright like the sun. He loves online games and watching action shows about justice warriors. He believes that he will one day gain special powers. However, is his smile just a mask to hide how he really feels? His route… gosh. So many feels I felt like I was drowning. I definitely cried during his route. A lot. His route is also easily tied as my favorite with Tei’s.

IN CONCLUSION,

Please consider purchasing this beautiful masterpiece. It would make me so happy if you did. And Cheritz, 정말 고맙습니다. 사랑해.

anonymous asked:

I don't understand extroversion. So I feel the introverted sister. My older sister is more extroverted than I am and sometimes it gets on my nerves, because she's like "let's go out!" And then I say "okay where?" And then she's like " why do I have to come up with stuff all the time?" And in my head I exclaim ,"because your the one who wants to go out!!!!"

Hey, friend. I understand where you’re coming from - as I happen to be the introverted sister in the conversation. I think I understand extroverts a little better than a lot of my fellow introverts, though, probably having to do with my sister being my best friend and us spending a lot of time together. We make allowances for each other. She lets me hang by myself when I want, and occasionally I allow her to drag me out to do things. ;)

So, here are some things to remember and tips to understanding extroverts (and you can apply these to hanging out/understanding pretty much anyone)

They have needs like you do. Not the same needs, but that doesn’t make them any less important or valid. Just because you need time to relax and chill and unwind in quiet seclusion with a book or a cat or a movie or your headphones or all of the above, doesn’t mean that’s what your sister needs.

Have you ever asked if your need to be left alone to recharge “sometimes gets on her nerves”? Try raising that question sometime. The answer might surprise you.

Respect their needs. Make allowances for them, just like with anyone else. If you care for someone, you’re going to go out of your way to show that. It’s not going to hurt you to cater to someone else for a bit to make their day a little brighter, trust me. (You will probably feel exhausted, but actually better about yourself in the end.)

There was the advice, here are the tips.

1. Strategically place your Extrovert in an energizing environment to recharge whenever possible: Introverts are batteries. They need downtime to recharge. Extroverts are solar panels. They need to absorb energy from other things to recharge. You know how you get edgy and uncomfortable and worn down when you’re overstimulated by people and activity? Extroverts feel the same way when there is. nothing. for. them. to. do. They can’t stand it. It makes them physically uncomfortable and can lead to bouts of depression.

2. Sometimes your Extrovert desperately needs attention/activity, but may not know how to address this need: This is when you step in. Extroverts are famous for their ability to look after themselves and blaze their own trails, but even they can’t keep up that pace for long. As an Introvert, you’ve got just as much creativity in your bones as they do - sometimes, arguably but not conclusively, more so. So if your Extrovert flops on your bed and looks at you pleadingly and says “I want to go do something” and sends you a text and adds “but I don’t know whaaaaat!” then it’s your time to make a choice. Keep a list of activities close at hand that both you and your Extrovert enjoy, and whip it out on these very occasions. Be wacky with it. Have some tried-and-true favorites saved, but don’t overuse them:

  • window shopping
  • parks
  • movies
  • pet stores
  • concerts
  • museums
  • cafes (at which you can introvert on a laptop while they extrovert with the noise and people, just be sure not to ignore them!)
  • city walks
  • zoos
  • and sporty things (like, idk, bowling) or
  • sporting events (baseball games!)

-are all good things to put on that list.

3. Many Extroverts, like many Introverts, enjoy a good cuddle. Give your Extrovert plenty of hugs and physical affection. This can do a lot to brighten their day and ensure a healthy relationship.

4. Take your Extrovert along when you go shopping: Have some errands to run? Need to replace those old favorite shoes at last? Bring along your Extrovert. This is the perfect opportunity to spend time together, and to expose your extrovert to the soul-strengthening energy of other people and activity without requiring a full-blown neighborhood block party. Malls are great for this, as there are a lot of people around, but you don’t have to do a lot of interpersonal communication with strangers like you might in another setting.

Note: if you do not have the ability to drive, ask friends or parents to help you get your Extrovert out into the world more. Make family activities out of (or don’t, your choice) and find ways to energize your Extrovert without leaving the house. This can be harder, but doable. Make sure your Extrovert gets to hang with their friends every so often, as this gets them into a new environment and lends quality time to those relationships too.

5. Your Extrovert is NOT “high maintenance”: Your Extrovert requires a good deal of care to be healthy and happy, but no more so than you. When your friends let you be alone for a bit, they are caring about you enough to leave you out as needed. When your Extrovert goes off to do their own thing without you, they are probably taking your introvertedness into account. Introverts also tend to internalize things more than Extroverts. Your Extrovert may often voice opinions, feelings, or problems you think about but keep to yourself. This doesn’t mean you are dealing with them better, or that they are. You just have different methods of facing things, and that’s okay. Talk to your Extrovert about these things as they come up, and remember to continue to participate in the conversation once you’ve got your Extrovert going.

6. If your Extrovert appears sluggish or down, Emergency Measures should be taken IMMEDIATELY: This is it, friend, this is the time when your Extrovert is as their neediest, and it’s possible the lack of stimuli and energy is going to lead them into a depressed emotional state. They require something energizing and fast. Grab the car keys and dash out to the movie theater, or just sit down and ask them about their day and be prepared to listen, and ask for details, encourage the conversation from their side. Extroverts like talking, Introverts like listening - honestly, we should be able to get along just fine. A good cure for this dangerous time is a good dinner out someplace (doesn’t have to be fancy), and a car trip for twenty minutes or so (turn up some tunes if conversation is lacking, this will still help to stimulate your Extrovert) but usually not longer, as your Extrovert can grow bored. Live out in the middle of nowhere? Roll those windows down and take turns shouting at the cows to see if you can get them to react. Live in a metropolis area? Just take a walk down the city streets, maybe buy them some ice cream. (Warning: sugar at this stage can be very beneficial, but can also lead to an extremely hyper state which, if you’re not careful, can lead to a breakdown. Ice cream is good, but make sure to do something afterward to help that energy work through their system - and yours!)

7. Try to say “Yes” to your Extrovert at least as many times as you say “No”: Why? Because your Extrovert is another human being, equally as important as you are. If you say no to parties, nights on the town, double dates, or random cafe visits, make sure you say yes to them too. Your Extrovert probably knows about your introvertedness and will respect it more as you respect them. Your Extrovert will appreciate this, and in the end you will too as you build an awesome relationship and learn about how other people function outside your own personal bubble. Keep your eyes open. ;) All relationships require some give and take. Make time for yourself of course, but try to give more than you take.

Extroverts are not more special. Introverts are not more special. They’re just different. We’re all just different. So take care of your Extrovert, and they will take care of you.

I hope this helps! Remember, EXTROVERTS ARE PEOPLE TOO so take care of yours! ;)
