i enjoyed this movie a lot

anonymous asked:

I hope the cs fandom will stop being so divided or at least the hate and vitriol will lesson, when the season actually starts and we find out what happens to captain swan. I don't want us to become the new sq. :/

You can’t please everyone, dude.

There’s always been difference of opinions throughout and there always will be- and there is honestly nothing wrong with that.

There’s probably only 2 things that all CSers agree on:
The CS movie was the greatest movie of all time & none of us could handle the neverland kiss.

I used to really enjoy reading different opinions. It was insightful to see how scenes were interpreted from other people’s perspective and to be able to see it from another angle- it was fun.

But the level of hostility and aggression that’s risen is not. I personally feel like this whole attitude of “i’m right and you’re wrong” that seems to be more dominant now is uncalled for, damaging, and has taken a lot of joy out of fandom for me in all honesty.

Look, the way I see it, whatever they do with CS, there’ll be those that will love it, and those that will not. It’s just the way it is. And that’s perfectly okay.

We don’t all have to agree, but it would help if we could all be frickin’ decent human beings to each other.

But that’s just my

As for sq, I know nothing about what they get up to so can’t really comment.

What did you think of the Ragnarok trailer?

I thought it looked great! This movie looks like a lot of fun. I’m one of the few people that really loves Thor, so there was a lot for me to enjoy in that trailer.

Can Tumblr Just Stop

Listen up y’all! Because when it comes to this topic:

I have had it with people saying you can’t enjoy something that doesn’t ‘belong’ to your culture. Apparently you’re racist if you’re a white girl dressing up as Tiana for comic con. Or if you’re wanting to adapt a story from China into a blockbuster movie. Or if you’re trying to cook an ethnic meal even if you have no experience. Because according to Tumblr (and alarmingly a lot of colleges) it’s ‘culture appropriation’ to even be curious about another country. Seriously. I had to write a paper to explain that you can still enjoy Mexican food even if you’re not from Mexico. And people argued with me. My professor argued with me! They all claimed that if you enjoy food from other cultures that you were stealing from that culture! Really?

I see this kind of attitude all the time about media too. Like, people flip out when they see a black girl playing Eponine from Les Miserables. Or when a predominately white school is performing The Wiz. People just jump into blind hate and claim that these performers are racists… but most of the time these performers are doing a role or a show because they love it. Because they connect with it in some way.

Here’s a quote we all need to read:

“You don’t need to be the same ethnicity as the story you’re watching in order to identify with it. If the story is told well. It [a good story] is about relating to people that you may not necessarily think you’re going to relate to in the beginning, but by the end you’re going ‘That’s me.’ ”

You know who said that?

Lin-Manuel Miranda

AKA:

The guy who wrote In The Heights and Hamilton, which did WONDERS in including people of all different ethnicities in mainstream musicals. AND in the interview he said that he was inspired from when he saw Fiddler on the Roof when he was six years old. Even though he was Puerto Rican and the show was about Jews and Russia- he related to the story about the sacrifices you make for your family. Because that’s something that everyone can relate to.

In other words, a good story can speak to anyone regardless of culture and that’s okay!

It’s okay for a Japanese cast to perform In The Heights. It’s okay for an African American to play Éponine in Les Miserables. It’s okay for people to adapt a J-Pop song into English. And it’s okay for a predominately white school to perform Hamilton or The Wiz.

If people are doing something because they genuinely love it, then there is nothing wrong with that. And this applies to everything!!!

If you’re a white girl wanting to wear dreads in your hair because you think it looks cool- GO FOR IT! If you’re a Korean man who loves listening to Latin music- GREAT! If you’re an Irish kid obsessed with learning Japanese- AWESOME! If you’re British and want to try out for Hamilton- NICE! If you’re an African American who jams out to K-Dramas- SWEET! If you’re an American who has moved to South Africa because you want to learn more about local tribes- THAT’S SO COOL!

Look:

People shouldn’t be guilt tripped into staying in their own cultural norms. I hate it when people say “you can’t enjoy this thing because it belongs to another culture.”

Doesn’t that sound a bit racist? Scratch that. IT SOUNDS A LOT RACIST!

Yo, I can kinda see where the anger comes from. I know there are people who claim to know a lot about a different culture… when they obviously don’t by their actions or mistreatment to those who actually belong to that culture. But there is a HUGE difference between those who are being “entitled” and those who just haven’t learned enough yet. Learning about a different culture takes time! Man, it takes several years just to learn a different language. Much more to learn about social norms and values.

And if they get a few things wrong… for crying out loud, show some mercy! No one is perfect. Stop with the “all or nothing” mentality. Show some compassion for those who genuinely want to know more about your amazing heritage/culture.

Because most of the time these people are trying their best to learn! In fact, 99% of the time, they’re self conscious because they know they are an outsider to your thing. But you can teach them. Share your culture. Let it thrive! Give people a chance! If you treat outsiders harshly for learning and enjoying your culture, then you’re harming your own representation.

THIS KID IS OUT!

"The Shining" Review

Are you scared? The Shining is a movie about being scared in the mountains. It has action, scary, and too long. For those there reasons, that is why The Shining is my favorite movie. I hope you enjoy!

First, action. The Shining has a lot of action. For instance, when they run from Jack who is chasing them. That scene is packed with action. The movie Shining has a lot of action.

Next, scary. If you are scared, Shining is the movie for you. I watched this movie with my uncle because my dad is out of town for business and he said it would be okay to watch. The whole movie I was very scared and I still am scared. If you dad is out of town and you like being scared, this is the movie for you. The Shining is scared.

Finally, too long. The Shining is too long. Your uncle might say that it isn’t too long, but you will know when you watch that it is too long. For instance, when the movie keeps going after he is locked in the kitchen with the food. The Shining is too long.

In conclusion, thank you for reading my review of Shining. It is action, is scary, and it is too long. These are the reasons that make Shining my favorite movie. I hope you watch the Shining and write a review of the movie Shining too. Who knows, maybe you will like the Shining too!

TRAIN TO BUSAN

How to deal with losing interest in your language class:

As a student in a higher-level French and who is self-studying two other languages, I know for a fact that taking a foreign language can get stressful and overwhelming. To learn a ton of grammar, humongous amounts of vocab, and to know how a mind in another culture works, it can get super hard sometimes. All that stuff that goes into learning a foreign language can make it super easy to get burnt-out. And we’ve all done it. Trust me. But, it’s okay, my dude. We’ve all been there. It sucks, but you’ll get over it. Here are some tips how:

i. take your time

Listen, my dudes, it can be so difficult to learn a foreign language and you should already be proud of yourself for doing so!! Even in a fast-paced class, you should take it slow and make sure you don’t beat yourself over not getting it in perfect time. Language takes practice, and sometimes we don’t get it as fast as we want it. it’s okay.

ii. ask questions/talk to the professor

Are you totally lost? Tell someone. It could be a classmate, a native speaker you’ve befriended, or your instructor. Either way, I highly recommend you talk to someone if you’re stuck on a specific concept or feel unmotivated. You sometimes need a boost from a study buddy in your target language.

iii. remember why you’re studying

My go-to method for when I’m having a bad day in French or I’m just not getting something is simple. I simply ask myself: “Why am I doing this?” No reason is not good enough for choosing to learn a specific language. Learning languages has its benefits and even if you just like the sound of it is reason enough to learn it! Trust me, I have no incentive for learning my target language. But I love it, and I refuse to give it up when it gets difficult.

iv. study on your own

To be honest, this is super super important anyway. You absolutely NEED to practice a language on your own, whether you feel like it or not. Without some practice, you’re going to feel completely lost in class sometimes. You can have fun with this too: take this time to familiarize yourself with the culture more. Personally, it’s always helpful to watch movies in French or listen to music in Spanish. I learn to enjoy my target language more and to have fun with it!

v. take a break

We all get unmotivated sometimes. Yeah, language learning takes a lot of work, but sometimes it helps to take a step back and refresh a little. Focus on other schoolwork or maybe find something new to occupy your time. Being burnt out on learning a language sucks, I know, but sometimes it’s best to ride the wave a little bit.

everyone keeps mentioning wonder woman crossovers with thor and cap but have you considered diana and t’challa meeting at a UN convention with diana admiring and respecting t’challa for being such a kind and caring king who loves his people and will protect them no matter what (because that’s a leader ww1 douchebag), and t’challa respecting her both for her strength and will to do what’s right (and of course because he knows about the no man’s land thing)

they get along so well seeing as both come from secluded kingdoms where everyone in their society is cared for and respected (both tend to complain about the rest of the white male dominated world) then he introduces her to a fellow princess and she swoons

and diana won’t stop gushing about her to bruce, “bruce she’s so amazing, she’s infinitely smarter than you” and shuri proceeds to convince t’challa to let her go with diana to themyscira, because “t’challa it’s an island full of women

and t’challa enjoys how diana can’t get enough of listening to shuri speaking so passionately about her scientific developments and methods for improving the world itself, and he adores how in love and happy shuri looks (especially when diana picks her up ever so gently and flies her just about anywhere because shuri enjoys it so much)

long story short diana the princess of themyscira begins courting shuri the princess of wakanda and this hc got a lot gayer than i initially planned

Imagine Chris admitting you’re his celebrity crush.

A/N: This is a request from @unstainedlight and it took me forever to get to, I’m so sorry. But here it is, finally! It’s super cute and I’d a lot of fun writing it (as in I giggled a lot) Enjoy! X

You arrived on the ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ set shortly after your husband, Chris. The two of you came in separate cars because you’d come from your movie set, whereas he came from the hotel you were put up in while working in New York; he wasn’t due to film ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ until May. Both you and Chris had been invited by Jimmy Fallon to do your own respective interviews on your upcoming movies and pending projects, or so the both of you thought. As it turned out, those reasons were just bait given to your publicists to get both of you on his set at the same time without raising suspicion; the man had something cheeky planned.

Jimmy had interviewed Chris numerous times now- one could say that they were friends, so Jimmy knew about Chris’ crush on you. He’d said numerous times now, in most of his interviews, that you were a beautiful actress he admired, with values, morals, and ethics that made him think very highly of you; or in short, that you were his celebrity crush. The thing that Jimmy didn’t know, however, was that they two of you were actually married. You’d met Chris in 2014 while having lunch with your friends, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. Chris was a good friend of John’s who thought the two of you would hit it off, and you did almost immediately.

After that day, the two of you starting secretly dating under the media’s radar because neither of you wanted the stress that came with having your relationship in the limelight. Both of you had been in the industry for a while now, so you knew what it was like when you started dating someone. The constant scrutiny, the tabloids and the rumors, the analyzing of everything you do and say, the haters and cynics calling the relationship a publicity stunt and waiting for it to blow up- you didn’t want to deal with that. Those were the things that usually ended a Hollywood relationship which was the last thing you and Chris wanted, so things between the two of you were kept under a tight lid.

Your friends and family knew about the relationship, but everyone did as you both asked and kept what they knew to themselves. During your time as boyfriend and girlfriend, you attended all red carpet events alone and took no photos together so you wouldn’t risk revealing your relationship to the world. It was unpractical, difficult, and occasionally lonely, but it worked out. Of course you weren’t going to keep it a secret forever, at some point you were going to want to reveal to the world that you were with the best person you’d ever met; vice versa. You’d both agreed to keep things hush until things were more solidified, and now that the two of you were happily married- the relationship was to be revealed at your movie premiere which was in a week’s time. But perhaps Jimmy’s cheeky little plan to embarrass Chris would move that announcement up.

“Hey stranger,” you called as you caught Chris in your dressing room mirror; he was up first and was walking towards the stage. He poked his head in and shot you a smile which you reciprocated. “Good luck out there, Captain America,” you gave him a two finger salute which made him laugh as he disappeared around the corner with the stage manager.

“Oh my God,” your makeup artist, Arizona, let out the breath she was holding in. “He is so freaking handsome,” she said then chuckled when you laughed. “I’m so glad I’m not the one doing his makeup, I wouldn’t be able to focus.” You said nothing in response as you closed your eyes to let her finish doing your eyeshadow. “Are the two of you friends?”

“I guess,” you shrugged nonchalantly.

“You know you’re his celebrity crush, right?” She was grinning excitedly when you opened your eyes. “As a fan of both you and Chris Evans, I can say that the two of you would make such a great couple.” You had to bite the inside of your cheek to stop from laughing. “You two should really make a movie together, ‘cause that’d be amazing.”

“Yeah,” you nodded in agreement.

“Okay,” she sprayed your face with setting spray then tucked a stray hair in its place. “All done, Y/N. You look amazing as always,” she complimented with a sweet smile. “And as always, it’s been an honor to do your hair and makeup. If you ever need a permanent stylist, I’m your girl.”

“Thanks Arizona,” you smiled then saw the stage director enter the room through the mirror. “And that’s my cue,” you told her and rose to your feet. You followed the stage director towards the stage and watched the TV, waiting for Jimmy to introduce you and bring you out.

“So Chris, I’m not sure if you’ve seen the interview your buddy Sebastian did with James Cordon a while back.” Chris’ eyes narrowed slightly as he pondered; he watched most of the interviews his friends and cast mates did. “The one with his celebrity crush, Sharon Stone.” Jimmy reminded him; Chris laughed and nodded. “Well, taking a page out of Cordon’s book- I thought I’d bring your celebrity crush here tonight so you can have the same opportunity to try and win her over with your charm and good looks.”

“Oh God,” Chris laughed. “This is not going to end well, I can tell already.”

“Let’s give Y/N Y/L/N a hand,” Jimmy called and you walked out right on cue. Chris caught your eye and you both tried hard not to crack even though the smiles you had on your faces were enough to give your big secret away. “C'mon Chris,” Jimmy teased as he rose to his feet, joining the audience in giving you a standing ovation. “Get on your feet, give a good impression.”

“Right, sorry.” Chris jumped onto his feet and clapped for you until you got to his side. “Hi Y/N, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you.” He shook your hand then leaned forward to give your cheek a quick peck. “We’re going to blow this, aren’t we?” He whispered into your ear before pulling away; you subtly nodded in response.

“Hi everyone,” you waved at the audience and they cheered for you. “Oh wow,” you began addressing Jimmy as the three of you took your seats. “It is so good to be back here. How are you, Jimmy?” You asked and he laughed.

“I’m meant to be the interviewer here, Y/N,” he joked and you chuckled. “I’m great, and you look great too. The New York air must agree with you. You’ve been out here for a while now, right?” You nodded. “You’re filming your latest movie which takes place in Manhattan, are you having fun?”

“Crazy fun,” you nodded. “I love New York, it’s where I started my career and where some of my best friends live so- yeah, I’m having a lot of fun. New York’s basically like a third home to me,” you told him; beside you, Chris smiled because he knew you refer to LA- your hometown- as home and Boston- his hometown- as your second home.

“Third home?” Jimmy quizzed. “Isn’t the saying second home?” You nodded, chuckling softly. “Okay then, so if New York is your third home then- where’s your second home? I know LA is your hometown, so that’s number one. What’s number two?”

“Boston,” you answered, trying not to smile too widely as you glanced at Chris; he couldn’t hide his grin. “It’s um- it’s a place close to my heart, a lot of my friends are from Boston- like John Krasinski, and it’s also where I fell in-love actually, with a Bostonian.”

“You’re in-love?” Jimmy looked over at Chris and pressed his lips together. “Aw, that’s a bummer.” Both you and Chris laughed at that. “Here I was thinking I was going to set the two of you up 'cause you know, Chris- Captain America, is not shy about admitting who his celebrity crush is.” You chuckled softly as you nodded. “He’s from Boston too, so if you think he’s better than your current love- it wouldn’t be hard to jump ship. Right, Chris?”

“Well,” Chris winced, trying hard not to crack. “If she’s already in-love with someone else, y'know- I’m not going to interfere with that.” You bit the inside of your cheek, stifling your laughs. “If she were single, of course I’d go for it, but she’s in a relationship, man. I can’t do that to a brother,” he tried not to laugh as he said that.

“Think about this, Y/N,” Jimmy tried to sell your husband to you. “Chris is a fan of yours, he is practically in-love with you already.” You looked over at Chris and he nodded in agreement with Jimmy’s statement, holding a serious face that made you want to laugh. “And c'mon, how great can your current guy be compared to Captain America? I mean- the choice is simple, right? Right, guys?” He asked the audience and they cheered. “The two of you would be the new Brad and Angelina, minus the divorce 'cause you’re Chris’ celebrity crush and I doubt he’d do anything to risk losing you.”

“Oh, definitely not,” Chris agreed and you turned away, laughing. “I’d treasure you for the rest of my life, Y/N.” He took your left hand in his, lifting it into vision but hiding your wedding bands. “I’d love you in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death do us part. But I think you already know that from when we exchanged wedding vows,” he said and revealed the wedding bands; everyone gasped, including Jimmy. “Yeah,” Chris began as you both turned to a stunned Jimmy, chuckling. “I didn’t need your help 'cause I already married my celebrity crush.”

“Oh my God,” Jimmy’s jaw dropped. “How- when- are you guys even- Wait, what?” He laughed, bouncing excitedly in his chair. “When did this even happen? I didn’t even know that you guys knew each other, let alone dated! And you’re married? What the fu-” he cut himself off, his smile wide. “That is amazing, wow! Congratulations, you two! Wow!” The audience cheered and clapped when Jimmy did. “This is exclusive right? No one knew before this moment?”

“Our friends and family know,” you told him, chuckling. “But no one else did, so yes. This is an exclusive on your show. I’m married to Chris Evans,” you said and Chris brought your entwined hands to his lips, kissing the back of your hand.

“Yup,” Chris grinned at you then turned to the camera, “I’m married to my celebrity crush.”

Just a friendly reminder: Don’t allow people to tell you who you are because of the games you play

Just because you play otome games doesn’t mean you are missing something in your current relationship.

Just because you play otome games doesn’t mean you don’t want a real relationship.

Just because you play otome games doesn’t mean you prefer 2D men over real ones.

Just because you play otome games doesn’t mean you have given up on real dating.

Just because you play otome games doesn’t mean you are hideous and desperate.

Just because you play otome games doesn’t mean you don’t deserve real love.

The games you play don’t affect anyone else. Don’t allow other people to tell you that you should be ashamed to play these games. Don’t allow other people to embarrass you for playing these games. If your significant other breaks up with you because you play these games, maybe they weren’t worth your time in the first place.

Seriously. Don’t give these people a second thought. They aren’t worth your time.

You deserve to be happy.

You deserve to play the games you want to play and be happy.

Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Notes from Josh Keaton’s Shiro Birthday Interview

Note that some of this is paraphrased because I was typing while watching.

  • “but every now and then a Slav comes along in my life…”
  • they called him in to audition for Shiro; he didn’t “choose” it
  • “an email came across that said Voltron and I was like ‘WAAAAT?!’”
  • If not Shiro, what character do you see yourself most in: a cross between Lance & Pidge. He likes tech and cracking jokes; and when he was growing up, he had a lot of insecurity, and he enjoyed seeing that in Lance this season because a lot of people feel that way.
  • What are some of your favorite lines: “Form Voltron” 100%; and a lot of his inspirational stuff. “I like 'Go. Be Great.’”
  • What is your fave ep so far? “I love 'Space Mall’. It felt like watching an 80’s movie.” “I love the scene of them riding a cow!”
  • Any scenes that were tough to record in s2? “Nothing really difficult to record. ADR is a little hard (fight noises); but I love doing that.”
  • Any advice for those wishing to get into voice acting: take acting classes. Improv and cold-reading. “On Voltron, we get the scripts the night before.” “Even if you can’t sing, try.”
  • How do you get in the zone for voicing Shiro?: “I do push-ups. I’ll knock out 40 push-ups before I start; my posture’s gotta be on point; I gotta stand like Shiro; the resting face. He’s got that military bearing.”
  • What’s your fave memory of working on Voltron: “Honestly it’s been such a good experience, I don’t have a lot of standout memories from working on it. I love my cast - they’re my Voltron family - I love the writers, I love the crew. If there was anything, I’d say the first time we announced at WonderCon.”

Warnings: Slight spoilers and making out (which isn’t really a warning, but just in case)

-

You had just gotten home from school. Today, was another weird day. Your long time friend, Peter (who you were also crushing on at the moment) was acting so weird lately, and today was no different. He wouldn’t hang out with you like he used to. Everyday after school something would come up and you wouldn’t see each other until school the next day. You missed the way it used to be. You two used to hang out everyday and do homework together, you two used to be inseparable, but as soon as he got that Stark internship, everything changed. Now you sit at your desk, getting ready to do homework… by yourself, the usual for you these days. You spotted the picture on your desk of you and Peter from last Christmas, when you spent the holiday with him and Aunt May. In the photo, you and Peter are wearing ugly sweaters and plush reindeer antler headbands (I LOVE headbands, guys. Animal headbands are the shit), mid laugh. It’s your favorite photo of you two, and you just couldn’t help but think about how cute he was. You were lost in thought when all of a sudden you hear a voice coming from right outside your window. You get up from your desk and walk over to the window to inspect the noise. You pull back the blinds and open the window to see… Spider-Man? “What the hell…” You mumbled under your breath. He didn’t seem to notice your presence because he kept on with his conversation over the phone. “I helped this lady with directions” He said, mask pulled up just far enough for his mouth to be exposed. “She was really nice and bought me a churro.” He held up his hand, referencing to the sweet treat, taking a bite right after. You stood there in shock until he finished his conversation and hung up the phone. That was when you climbed through your window and onto the fire escape, only this time he heard you. As soon as your feet hit the metal on the fire escape, his head whipped around to face you. His mouth hung open. “Y/N?!” He said shocked. You were confused as hell now. “How do you know my name?” You spoke cautiously. It’s in that moment that you hear a soft but frantic voice come from the hero in red and blue. “umm… I don’t. I mean…” His voice cracks slightly as he awkwardly attempts to cover up his mistake. He clears his throat and starts again, this time in a fake lower voice, placing his hands on his hips like a cheesy comic book hero. “Hello miss” He said. You made a sour facial expression at his attempt to cover up. “Umm… okay” You said, weirded out. “Let’s start over…” You reached your arm over, through your open window, and into your desk. You pulled out a letter opener and pointed it at Spider-Man, the unlikely intruder. You slowly walked over to him, never taking your eyes away from him. “A… letter opener…?” He laughed a fake hearty laugh, still trying to pull off the fake deep voice. “Silly citizen.” You narrowed your eyes at him “Okay cut the bullshit” You frowned slightly. “No one says that.” You said, irritated with his “macho” attitude. You threw your letter opener at him in hopes that it would make you look intimidating. It was actually pretty pathetic looking. Your attempt at spearing his arm with it ended up with you just hitting him on the forehead with the handle. His hands immediately left their place on his hips to cover his forehead where your letter opener just hit him. “Ouch.” He started talking normally again. “What the hell?!” He yelled, surprised at your sudden action. “No, what the hell to you!” You yelled back at him. “Why are you stalking me?” He seemed offended by your question. “I am NOT stalking you.” He said, defensively. “Umm… you’re sitting outside my room and you know my name so…” You trailed off, annoyed. “Okay, listen…” He held his breath. “I’m Spider-Man.” He said, letting out the breath he had been holding. You gave him a funny look. “Yeah… I kinda got that…” You said, raised your arms and gesturing to his suit. “Damn it…” He said. “Will you let me take off my mask first?” You held your hands up in defense. “My bad.” He pulled his mask up and your eyes widened at the sight in front of you. “Peter?!” You loudly exclaimed, shocked. “YOU’RE SPI-” Peter jumped and held his hand over your mouth to keep you from talking. “Shhhh. Y/N! Be quiet! You can’t tell anybody!” Peter stage whispered at you. You nodded your head at him and he removed his hand from your mouth. “So… you hang from ceilings and stuff right?” He nodded at you. “Show me” You said, smiling. “Y/N… I don’t know…” You gave Peter a ‘really?’ look. He gave you the same look back. “C'mon! Pleaseeeeee?” You put on your puppy face and your eyes welled with fake tears. Peter’s look softened and he gave in. “Okay fine!” He said finally. “Yay!” You said, excitedly, slightly fangirling. Peter shot a web up at the fire escape above you and held onto it, flipping to be upside down. You stared at him, bewildered, as he hung from the web, smiling over at you. “So what do you think?” He asked you. You smiled and walked over to him. “I think…” You moved your hands to hold the sides of his face. Peter’s expression turned hopeful and his mouth hung open slightly as if he was in a trance. “You,” You said, thumbs brushing along his face. You leaned in to Peter’s lips and kissed him. Peter kissed back as soon as he registered what was going on. The kiss wasn’t too long, but it was passionate. When you pulled away, you continued what you were saying to Peter. “You,” You repeated. “Should get your ass inside.” You started walking towards your window. Peter looked at you in shock, flipping down from his previous position. “Uh… w-what?” He couldn’t believe what was happening. You stopped and turned around to look at him. “Or stay out here in the storm.” Just as Peter looked up at the sky, a crackle of thunder was heard and he could see dark grey clouds rolling in from the distance. “But I prefer you come in here and keep me company.” Peter turned his eyes back to you as you said this. You smiled at him as he picked up his stuff and came inside after you. When you two came through the window, he awkwardly stood by it. You walked out of your room and came back with sweatpants and a t-shirt for Peter to wear. “Here, Peter.” You dropped the t-shirt and sweatpants into his hands. “That suit doesn’t look too comfortable to wear for a long time.” He looked at you. “Thanks, but… where should I change?” He asked. “You can change in here, I’ll just leave.” You told him. He shifted slightly and gave you an “okay” and you exited the room. You went over to the kitchen to look for some snacks for the two of you when you heard Peter actively struggling with what you assumed was his Spider-Man suit. You heard a loud groan of frustration followed by Peter yelling for your help. “Y/N?” You giggled at his defeated tone. “Yeah?” You yelled back, trying not to let him know you were giggling. “Can you help me get my suit off?” You smiled and went back to your room to help Peter. You walked over to Peter and helped him unzip the dang thing. “Thanks.” Peter said, cheeks tinted a light pink. You smiled at him. “No problem.” You blushed slightly at how cute he was. “If you need anything else, just holler.” Just as you were exiting, you turned around to look at Peter just at the moment that his suit came off. You nearly had a heart attack at the sight of Peter’s physique. “Holy shit!” You jumped up in surprise, hand quickly gripping back onto the door knob. Your mouth was gaping and the hand that wasn’t gripping the door knob, was over your heart. Your breath was taken away at the sight of your shirtless best friend turned crush. Peter’s head snapped up to look at you, thinking that something was wrong. “What! What happened?! Is everything okay?” Peter exclaimed in worry. You couldn’t take it anymore. There he was, shirtless in all his glory, and he liked you back. So, what were you waiting for? You ran across the room to where Peter was and thankfully, he caught on. He wrapped his arms around your waist as you jumped, wrapping your arms around his neck and latching your lips onto his. Peter wasn’t prepared for your fast approach, however, and your momentum caused both of you to fall onto your bed (ooh… saucy). Peter pulled away from the kiss, making you frown slightly. “Will you go out with me?” You looked down at Peter, smiling widely. “Yes! Duh! Oh my god!” You giggled. Peter smiled at you. “But…” Peter gave you a skeptical look. “I get to try on your suit.” His look softened and he chuckled slightly. “Okay.” “And I get to meet the Avengers…” You added. Peter’s head snapped towards you. “What? Y/N! What the hell?!” You laughed. “I’m just kidding…” You rolled off of Peter’s chest and he got up from the bed. Peter turned to look back at you as he picked up the t-shirt you gave him. You jumped up from the bed and snatched the shirt from his grip. “No!” Peter was taken aback by your sudden outburst. “I forbid you from putting a shirt on!” He gave you a look. “What? Why?” You shrugged at him. “Because…” You trail off. You continue, smirking. “Those abs are too delicious.” Peter looks shocked now. “And besides… You ditched me for months and didn’t tell me why until now. So I think you owe me this for all my suffering.” Peter’s cheeks tint pink and his lips curve up into a smirk. You smile at him sweetly and plant a kiss on his lips before walking out of the room, dragging your hand along his abs as you walk away from him.

an art telegram group I’m part of started doing little weekly study challenges, this week was “movie stills”, so I painted a couple frames from movies I enjoy. Had a lot of fun, and started to learn some new tools in photoshop like the mixer brush.
