Having confidence really does threaten some people and it’s like no need to feel threatened pal!!! You can have confidence, self worth and self love too, you’re allowed to love yourself, know your self worth and be confident despite what society teaches you. You’re beautiful and you deserve kindness, love and respect from others and yourself ✨

Self-Knowledge Questionnaire   ––   based on your answers, we think the following three traits are important strands in your personality:

NEEDINESS

Being affirmed and nurtured by others is a central requirement for you to feel safe. This means you can be slow to warm up to other people, which is difficult because what you most need from them is their warmth. Yet you know how to be vulnerable: to let down your defences and accept that you need another person. This lack of pretence is a valuable trait, and ultimately more endearing than the macho efforts others make to deny their childlike sides.

FOR NEEDINESS:

  • Why the Fear of Rejection Never Goes Away
  • On the Longing for Maternal Tenderness
  • How to Spend Time Alone

RATIONALITY

You like clarity and intelligent simplicity and you get frustrated at messy thinking. This can make you seem unreasonably pushy to some, but it is actually a virtue: you are motivated by a horror at pointless effort and a longing for precision and insight into how things and people work. Your ability to synthesise and bring order is essential in producing thinking which is truly helpful.

FOR RATIONALITY:

  • What is Philosophy For?
  • Philosophy ‘ Ludwig Wittgenstein
  • Who Are You to Say That?

AGGRESSION

One part of your character is anger in all its forms: frustration, outrage – and when anger is suppressed – bitterness, grumpiness, and bodily aches. Fundamentally, frustration comes from hope: you get upset because you expect your life will be more than a valley of tears. One way to deny aggression is to direct it inwards, as self-criticism. But you’re at your best when you acknowledge anger, and act it out clearly and in a focussed way, with honour.

FOR AGGRESSION:

  • How to Forgive
  • How to Deal with Conflict
  • On How to Disagree

I think the worst thing is that you miss the people that hurt you, and you only miss them bc their rejection makes you feel like if only they were around would that heal whatever or reverse the pain they may have caused. For some reason their opinion is what will validate us.

At the end of the day it maybe easier said than done (bc it is lol) but how they see you or treat you doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with you, it just means their definition of perfection or whatever it maybe is probably different than yours. But the people that remain in your life have decided you meet their idea of something worth keeping.

At the end of the day, don’t let one person dictate how you feel about yourself.

I feel like crying, my dog went missing last night apparently around the time I went to work. I’ve gone to the animal shelter and she’s not there, I’ve checked my neighborhood and the surrounding areas and nothing. I’ve felt so sick since last night just thinking about my baby out in the cold with no food and probably so scared. She’s loosing her sight as well so I’m even more scared. The ones who have pets know what it’s like to love them so much that they become another family member. I miss her so much and all I keep thinking is the worse.

Scorpius knows exactly who Albus is when they meet in the train carriage. He’s known for years that Harry Potter had a son his age who would probably be in his class at school. He knows that that kid is called Al. He’s seen pictures of him in the paper, of course he has.

Scorpius doesn’t even dare to dream of becoming friends with Harry Potter’s son. He imagines going to Hogwarts and having friends like Harry did, but he doesn’t think for a second that Al would give him any attention. Al is a Potter, and Scorpius is a Malfoy. Gryffindor and Slytherin, most likely, they’ll never even interact.

And then Scorpius is on the Hogwarts express and he hears the carriage door open, and he sees that stunningly familiar Potter face. The green eyes and messy black hair, and his heart stops for a second and he doesn’t know what to do. And Al has no idea who he is, clearly, because he asks to come in. So Scorpius goes out of his way to give Al every opportunity to leave, but he doesn’t. He stays. And he stays. And he stays.

And Scorpius pretends he’s just any other person. Asks what he wants to be called (Albus), offers him sweets, talks to him about Rose. Albus says he’s staying for Scorpius’s sweets, not for him, but still Scorpius has never been happier, and then Albus laughs at the steam coming from his ears as he eats Pepper Imps, and by the end of the train ride they’ve become friends.

That night when they’re lying in beds next to each other in the Slytherin dorm Scorpius can still hardly comprehend it. He’s living in a dream. Not even a dream, because he didn’t dare dream this. This is pure and utter fantasy, the wildest possible reality, and it’s his reality.

Albus Severus Potter is his friend.

Let’s just keep sending positive thoughts to B.A.P, and their families. Let’s not expect the worse, or even say it, this could hurt them even more. Let’s keep sending our prayers they need us a lot right now. They have been through a lot already, I can only hope they aren’t put through something to test their stability once again.

tfw your prediction is extremely off but hey

The thing that gets me is that in a way Euros had a tragic story here because she has clearly longed for a friend for forever and she wanted that friend to be Sherlock her little brother. So much so that she kills Sherlock’s best friend when they’re kids. I mean her obsession is clearly not healthy and she has issues but I feel like deep down she really did just want Sherlock’s attention.

I do have a problem reconciling what her plan was - especially just the impersonating of different people and being out of Sherringford for quite a while and not setting her plan in the real world? Also that she only escaped recently? None of that makes any sense. Not if we’re to believe she’s smarter than everyone else and persuasive.

But the whole game she plays with them in particular Sherlock is to isolate him in a way. But she doesn’t want him physically hurt? The moment he decided to shoot himself she uses the tranquilizer darts. So it does seem that she does care about Sherlock in her own way. She’s still nuts but I do think she realizes what John means to Sherlock which is why he’s in the well and not Mycroft. This also sort of explains why she doesn’t use her persuasion thing on Sherlock because she might very well want him to make the choice to be her friend on his own. But she doesn’t seem to realize the difference between harming and I suppose playing because she mentions how she thought she was making Sherlock laugh but instead he was crying.

Okay but sheith cheaper by the dozen au

or not really au, just post canon

Keith was an orphan and never had a family growing up.

Shiro had very loving parents, but was an only child.

They both want so many kids they’re bursting out the wazoo.

Keith signs them up to be foster parents, and they get a giant house with a ton of land, and the kids start rolling in, and they end up adopting so many.

And it’s hard sometimes, with keith seeing the abuse and neglect he had all throughout his childhood reflected in his kids’ eyes. But because of it he knows how to help them even more. He make his home a loving place, where they don’t need for anything, where he sits them down and asks them about their day, and he helps them with their homework, and hey can have as much food as they want, because fuck you, the fridge will never be locked in his home. And he makes an effort to spend time with each and every one of them, and learns their interests, and notices when something is wrong, dammit. And he won;t ever let anyone hurt his kids again. No one gets to label his kids as ‘problem child’ or ‘trouble maker’, not while he’s around. Just mama lion keith okay.

And shiro never having to fight again. Coming home to 13 people (and 3 dogs, and 2 cats, and 8 chickens, and 1 cow) who love him. Who help him on his bad days, who help him look out and avaoid his triggers, who absolutely unconditionally love him no matter what, because he is not a monster.

And they live their lives, never being alone again. They have giant, loud meals, and chaotic outings, and plenty of drama sometimes. But they also have giant cuddle piles, and fill up an entire row and a half and musical recital and graduations, and the christmas tree is practically levitating from the flood of presents spilling out underneath it, and thanksgiving dinner is always late because it takes ages to get though everyone listing off what they’re grateful for.

And sure, the kids grow up, and move out and have their own families, but that’s okay.

Because they have 36 grand kids.

The kogane-shirogane house is never quiet, but it’s never empty either.
