Finally, the guy we have all been waiting for! I present to you, the angsty meme lord, 707!

there’s something about even’s little nod in this scene

because even knows. he’s not oblivious, he notices the way isak reacts to his presence, to him. he’s been noticing him for weeks, weeks before they first met. he saw the way isak was when he came over to his place the previous week, he saw the look in his eyes, the light in his eyes, he saw the way he smiled and laughed, he noticed the changes in his voice. he probably memorized his facial expressions and the things he said last friday. kept replaying them in his mind every single day, in class, before going to bed, when he was with other people

earlier in that episode, when he came to give isak his snapback, in a matter of seconds, he understood that isak hadn’t told his friends he had gone to his place, he understood that he didn’t want them to know. because he sees and understands. he remembered the cardamom on the cheese toasties five weeks later, how they were sitting on the floor of his room as they ate them, he remembered isak saying he had a drop of water in his throat, he remembered isak talking about parallel universes. because he pays such close attention to isak and the way he looks and moves and speaks and all the things he says

do you think that even, who saw this boy on the first day of school, who was probably looking forward to seeing him even when it was just at school, in public, in rooms and hallways with other students, would not notice how isak was acting? notice the way he’s been looking at him the moment he showed up at his place for the pregame? the way he starred at him when he kissed sonja and looked at him straight in the eyes? how tensed he was as he told him about sonja and how they’d been together for years? the intonation of his voice as he said his okay’s (been together since we were 15. okay. can’t dump her. okay). do you think that even who’s been desperately trying to spend time alone with this boy he was falling for would not notice the smile that spread all over isak’s face when he realized that even was messing with him, the smile he was trying to stop it, in vain? do you think he would not sense his attraction to him? the vulnerability?

of course even notices. and since he came to see isak in his kitchen, he’s only been kidding, pretending not to be serious. but with that little nod, he grows more serious. with that little nod, it’s like he’s saying i see you, i see it, i’ve seen you for a while. it’s reassuring. it’s okay. it’s understanding. i know, isak. i know. me too

“My hair,” Bucky says, running his fingers through his now mid-length hair. “Will you cut it like you remember it?”

Steve touches the scissors. “I’ve never cut hair–we could go to a hairdresser tomorrow morning–”

“Please,” Bucky says.

“When?”

“Now?”

I’m not sure these gifs even get across what I want to say, but while watching Rogue One I had such a fangirl moment looking at Vader’s fighting style.

Not that I know anything of Lightsaber forms, mind you. Because that’s probably not what I mean. I mean the cute little thing he does by raising his left arm to his chest when fighting one-handed. He only does it very slightly in the second gif, so, maybe a picture comparison can get across what I noticed better:

See?

RIP Agent Antoine Triplett (April 20, 1982 - December 9, 2014)

Jersey [Lin-Manuel Miranda x Reader]

Summary: You’re a journalist and your neighbor is playing music too loud, you go to complain and turns out he is writing a musical.

Word count: 1,168

Warnings: None. Light cursing maybe?

Author notes: MY FIRST DRABBLE YOU GUYS! I think it turned out better than I imagined. Please let me know what you think, if you like maybe I can write more?

“You need to stop!” Your words echoed on the hallway that connected your apartment to the rest of the building. The loud music suddenly paused and you exhaled in relief after slamming the door.

You had three articles to write until the end of the week, the last thing you needed on that friday night was the same song played slightly differently for what seemed like hours to you, it was already bad enough that you had to ditch your friends because of work.

When the inspiration came back to you the words just flew from your mind all the way to your laptop. Your fingers moved quickly and you wrote not more than two paragraphs before the loud drums started once again.

That was the last straw.

Let’s talk about Yuuri for a bit

So last time I talked about the weight of Yuuri and Victor’s relationship being interracial, but has anyone thought about either ones past relationships? Victor asked Yuuri this once they met, but notice that he does not use the specific word for ‘girlfriend’ = ‘彼女 (kanojou)’, but instead used the gender neutral word ‘恋人 (koibitou)’ which means ‘lover’. Victor shows then that he is a open-minded person who doesn’t take for granted that Yuuri has a girlfriend, but that he could instead have a boyfriend.

As with Yuuri, we know that he has been in love before. He had a crush on the girl who made the song “Yuri On Ice” for him (not titled back then, but still), but obviously didn’t go out with her. It wouldn’t be surprising if he’d had previous crushes on other girls/boys as well. The fact that he didn’t freak out or started to worry about his developing feelings for Victor, suggest that he maybe have been in love with a boy before, but this is probably the first time his feelings are returned.

Also, it’s worth pointing out that he never tells Victor to stop with anything. Yes, he gets nervous and embarrassed, but he never tells Victor to stop being so intimate or stop touching him, which he probably would have done if he was totaly straight or against being in a non-heterosexual relationship.

This could be pointing at Yuuri not being straight or gay, but possibly bi/pansexual, since he has had crushes on both girls and boys. That would make him one of very few characters that are not heterosexual (another example being Karamatsu from Osomatsu-san, since he hits on both girls and boys alike).

As for Victor himself, we know close to nothing about him. But it is possible that he is also bi/pansexual, since he is so open about expressing feelings towards both genders. Once again, these two are one of a kind and needs to be protected!

iI just can't stop thinking about Harry taking that picture of Louis while watching him play quietly, it's just a really lovely thought you know?

Remember how Harry said that Louis is a great person to just like sit and kind of like just admire what he’s like? I feel like he does that a lot and Louis just lets him because it’s his Harry you know? This boy who is relaxing in the corner of the couch they used to sit in when they first came around to visit Louis’ family. Back in the days when their love was brand new, when each shared look made them blush and giggle and every careful kiss would feel like fire burning inside because of its intensity. This boy who couldn’t stop looking at Louis because he was just the most beautiful thing he had ever seen and he told Louis just that as often as he could, not caring for a second about who was listening, too consumed with his love for Louis. And Louis just let him fall madly in love with him because he was falling just as hard too. And now this beautiful boy who had turned into the most amazing man still stood by his side through all their good days and the bad ones too, because like Harry used to say ‘there is really no other way than loving you madly every day’. So here they were, Louis strumming his guitar softly by the window, allowing his thoughts and words to flow freely while humming quietly. Working on a song about the boy with the sparkling green eyes who was looking at him like he had hung the moon and the stars all at once. While Harry was enjoying the view through the camera lens, trying to figure out what song Louis was writing, knowing full well he would never be able to because like Louis always said ‘patience Harold. You know it will be worth the wait’. And he knew.. So for now he was just enjoying the moment, allowing himself to just look. And to love. Just like he was planning to do for as long as Louis would let him x

you’re minding your own business watching youtube videos and you come across a phrase that sounds very familiar

long story short, [ this video ] talks about the unsolved murder of the robinson family which happened in july of 1968. i had nearly reached the end of it when i was floored by the similarity between a note from the suspected killer and the lyrics of “used to be my girl”.

does alex spend his free time watching videos like this one? is this all a coincidence?

i don’t fucking know but i had to share this with the world.

@hchano requested “kiss on the chest, but platonic”

“Chat.”

“Hmm?”

“You’re heavy.”

Her partner and best friend, the dork, gave an offended little gasp against her collarbone. “Rude!

“The truth is a cold beast,” she intoned, like someone who actually knew what they were talking about. Then she shoved at his shoulder. “But seriously, I can’t breathe.”

Chat obligingly shifted so that he was no longer crushing her airways. “Better?”

“Yes,” she sighed, relived. “But you know what would be even better?”

“What?”

“If you would get up.”

“But you’re so comfortable,” he whined, rolling away just so he could wrap his arms all the way around her and roll back.

Ladybug figured she was entitled to a side-pinch or three.

He yelped, but even that noise managed to sound sleepy and content.

She sighed.

Chat dropped a kiss to her collarbone. “‘Love you.”

“We were supposed to be patrolling,” she grumbled without heat.

“Cuddling is nicer,” said the cat, and Ladybug couldn’t find it in herself to disagree.

Still.

“You think that because the roof isn’t digging into your back,” she informed him, dedicated to her role as wet blanket tonight.

Chat rolled over again, pulling her with him this time, and Ladybug found her cheek pressed against the roof while Chat supported her chest with his face.

“Nice,” she said dryly.

There was a moment of hesitation on Chat’s end, one she knew well enough to interpret as embarrassment, and then, muffled and in a tone that clearly said I meant to do that, “I’m closer to your heart like this.”

“I think you mean my boobs.”

“Ah,” said her dork of a partner. “So that’s what these soft things are.”

Ladybug felt him tilt his head, felt something soft press against her cleavage, and giggled.

“A lovely heart,” he mumbled, the heat of his breath sinking through her suit.

“I think you mean boobs,” she corrected, lips twitching.

Another pause.

“Those too.”

I find really hard to fully understand and relate to a character like Magnus, who's 400 years old and I think, functions different then mortal people because of that. So I just keep thinking how Alec, a shadowhunter to the core that was raised in black and white, by the law, being told what's right or wrong, who never let himself be open to new things, will be able to do that? And also how Magnus (part 1)

(part 2) will fully understand this shadowhunter and his ways, something he never even thought or care about. But they obviously manage to do that, and I’d love to hear your opinion on how

It’s a good question! Alec has expressed his desire to keep an open mind and get to know Magnus on his own terms – and I’m sure he’ll be fine if he does just that. When you scratch the surface of Magnus’s immortality, there’s something very human about him in the way he yearns to be loved but is also afraid of having his heart broken again. I think many of us know what it’s like to feel conflict between wanting to be loved and fearing hurt. This is important, since one of the functions of Magnus and the Downworlders is to demonstrate that despite appearing “other” on the surface, we’re all human beneath.

As for Magnus, he’s pretty perceptive. He often completes Alec’s thoughts before he has a chance to finish. This is part of what draws Alec – who struggles to put his feelings into words – to Magnus, who seems to just get what Alec means. Not to say Magnus knows everything about Alec; I don’t doubt plenty of misunderstandings will arise, but I think he does know that there’s a lot more to Alec than Alec wants to reveal. And I think one of Magnus’s goals has always been to coax him to open up.

But I want to address this part of your ask bc I think it’s important:

how Magnus will fully understand this shadowhunter and his ways, something he never even thought or care about.

Magnus understands Shadowhunter ways extremely well. He might not like what it stands for, but trust me, he knows it. Remember when he grasped the Clave’s trial laws better than Alec? That was such an important moment because both Alec and Magnus knew the wording of the law, but only Magnus truly got the implications of what it meant for his own race – that the Shadowhunters thought so lowly of Downworlders they never even bothered to close the loophole that would keep them from defending someone. Alec didn’t miss this part entirely because he’s stupid; it’s because his privilege meant it wasn’t something he had to think about.

Magnus has likely given these things a lot of thought because like all Downworlders, he had to. Shadowhunter culture is the dominant force in his world. Nephilim beliefs and attitudes control the laws that Downworlders must obey. Magnus in particular works closely with the Clave. He’s spent his long life navigating Shadowhunter politics to rise to where he is now – powerful enough to talk back to the Inquisitor. But he wasn’t always here, and I don’t doubt when he was younger he had to learn their ways carefully lest he offend them and get killed for it (100% legal before the Accords.)

And to make it clear, yes, this is to do with the show’s racial allegory. The dominant majority culture invades every pore of society and minorities are forced to understand it to navigate our lives safely. We will always know it intimately because it isn’t a matter of curiosity; it’s a matter of survival.

you wanna know a weird little anecdote?

as a child, who was autistic and thus very literal-minded, i was understandably weirded out by the pledge of allegiance before i had even learned the real reasons why i should be (for non-americans who may not know what that is, it is a declaration of loyalty to america that is all but mandatory to be recited by every student, in every class, in every school, every morning, spoken in unison with a hand over our heart, while staring at whatever american flag is present in the room, and it’s not seen as eerie at all somehow). obviously too young to question authority and grasp the greater outside perspective of why it was disquieting, it was, at the time, because i interpreted it as a literal, contractual oath. that by reciting it, if there was something “america” told me to do, i would have to do it. so, every day, since kindergarten, i’d secretly crossed my fingers in my other hand, so that if this ever came up, and the grownups ever went “aha! because you always did the pledge, now you must do X or go to prison” at least i had an out. because i crossed my fingers, i could go right back at them “aha! no i didn’t! i had my fingers crossed every single time!”

now, by 3rd grade, the beginnings of what would later be diagnosed as psychosis had begun to develop. though i’d since asked and been told the pledge was not an actual contract of any kind, delusions wove conspiracy theories about it in my little noggin. outside of the obvious that they were just lying about it not being binding, one of my longest running thoughts was that the pledge was a form of brainwashing, one you’d have to be self-aware of the oddity of the act to be immune to. i kept crossing my fingers, growing more wary of the pledge, developing ambient paranoia around it and anything like it.
and years later, looking back, it’s weird to think how that is exactly what it is. it wasn’t the “magic code that overrides the free will of those who recite it” type of brainwashing that kid me had imagined, but the gradual planting of complacent, blind patriotism that would hopefully gear me up to value the abstract concept of a country and its pride over the lives of actual people.

Please don’t let Septicpie turn into Septiplier.

I know it’s very unlikely given that these two joke about it all the time now, but we still shouldn’t risk that. If you watched the Cringemas stream then you noticed how distant Mark and Jack are now compared to how they used to be. Septiplier had a little something to do with that.

I wish they’d be close again, but it seems the intensity of the Septiplier fandom has pushed them too far apart.

We shouldn’t let jokes grow into harassment. Please be mindful of what you post with the tag “septicpie”. You’re not only posting for yourself, your post stands for us all.

I imagine Reinhardt as someone who is all or nothing with how he feels about someone or something. If he trusts someone, he opens up about anything and everything on his mind which could attest to his description as someone who supported Overwatch while also being the harshest critic of Overwatch. If someone betrays him or who else he cares for, it hurts him the most because he puts everything into what he knows only to have it turned against him.

Especially with someone like Reaper who had his own issues with Jack, I feel Reinhardt would be deadset on feeling disgusted by him because he not only helped splinter the organization that saved countless lives, but he betrayed the people who stuck with him through everything.

“Rose,” Kanaya said in her most cautionary tone, stepping into the living room lit only by convenient and ritually placed candelabras. Rose looked up from the chalk circle on the floor with an innocent expression.

Or an expression as innocent as one who had a cup of goat’s blood in her hands could wear.

“Yes, dearest?”

Damn, I’ve had enough of this. What part of “love grew between them” is so hard to understand?

I mean, headcanon and let headcanon. But sometimes headcanons can influence mainstream fanon to the point where people seem to forget what’s canon, and canon is not “Maglor was a creep who kidnapped Elrond and Elros for ransom/redemption, and they developed… complex feelings for him, some of which looked a bit like… Stockholm syndrome, in what was essentially an abusive relationship”. I think I’ve read one comment too many which off-handedly treats this as a fact.

Canon says that Maglor was a murderer who went along with a dirty game although he didn’t want to. He also loved the twins, and the twins loved him. Even Third-Age Elrond speaks with compassion about people who take oaths without knowing what they’re in for:

“(…) No oath or bond is laid on you to go further than you will. For you do not yet know the strength of your hearts, and you cannot foresee what each may meet upon the road.”
“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens,” said Gimli.
"Maybe,“ said Elrond, “but let him not vow to walk in the dark, who has not seen the nightfall.”
“Yet sworn word may strengthen the quaking heart,“ said Gimli.
“Or break it,” said Elrond.
(LotR, Fellowship, “The Ring Goes South”)

I wonder who he may be talking about.

So stick to your headcanons, variety is great. They can be fun and entertaining, and I don’t ask anyone to stop writing them, as long everybody remembers that they’re just headcanons. Just imagine it was one of your favourite characters someone was talking about. We’re all here to have fun together, aren’t we?
