eddie kaspbrak could melt in richie tozier’s lips. they tasted of nicotine and strawberry chapstick. eddie had always found himself staring at those lips and wondering what it would be like to kiss them. he never thought much of it until it actually happened behind the high school during lunch period. it was never meant to happen but it just did and the two boys went with it. eddie thought the kiss would be a one time thing until it happened again. and again and again. now here eddie kaspbrak was, opening the front door for richie tozier so they could have their “study” session.

not even twenty minutes later, eddie was sat on richie’s lap with his arms around his neck and richie’s hands gripping his waist as they kissed. richie chuckled when eddie pulled away for air causing eddie to lightly smack him on the shoulder but he couldn’t hide his smile. the two sat there, foreheads resting against each other as they stared into each other’s eyes.

Finally you were able to look around and see a view that was so warm and familiar. The city you had grown up in had become bustling with new people, new coffee shops, but the same old feeling to it. Sitting on your bed, surrounded by the boxes in your room from moving, you stared out the window as you watched the people walk by.

About 5 years ago, you moved away with your family, trying to remember things from back then. The faint memory of your old friends came to mind and though those friendships were no longer as strong as they used to be, the memories were only happy ones. School back then wasn’t perfect by any means but it wasn’t too bad, having some of the brightest memories. The more you sat there reminiscing, the more curious you had become, going over to your box of photobooks. As you picked the largest one up a photo fell out from the bottom and landed into your lap.

The picture featured a taller, broad shouldered, brown-eyed, and handsome ex of yours standing in front of the bus stop you both stood at back then. Unlike any of your other relationships, he didn’t mind you taking a pictures of him, in fact you could remember him gloating about his photogenic self after you took this picture. Almost as though you could still hear his unique laughter ringing in your ears was enough to make you laugh lightly to yourself. It felt a bit weird to feel yourself start to feel warm and comfortable just by looking at a picture of someone you no longer talked to nor were in a relationship with but he was like your other half in high school. Jin always knew how to make you smile no matter what and no matter how lame he had to be to earn that smile. He was romantic when he wanted to be, setting aside his jokes you could remember him holding your hand for the first time at the same bus stop. You were so embarrassed back then because the bus had pulled up right aftewards for everyone to see but when you looked over to him you noticed how red his ears had gotten, knowing it must a took a lot for him to do it out of nowhere.

The first time he had kissed you was on a field trip to the planetarium and as romantic as that sounds he didn’t sneak you off to a dark room with the stars glowing on the ceiling. You remembered you were holding his arm by his side when one of your classmates said the two of you couldn’t be really dating if you hadn’t even kissed yet. In a provoked moment he turned to you, kissing you in front of the group of classmates you were with to prove his point.

“Did I or did I not tell you she’s my girlfriend.” Jin boasted.

You grew so embarrassed your head was already in his chest to hide but unlike him holding your hand he wasn’t embarrassed anymore, laughing at your shyness.

The worst part of everything was the same 5 years ago when you had to move away. You spent maybe a week just crying once a day whenever you thought about him or missed him. You couldn’t have asked him to wait for you because there was a huge possibility you weren’t going to ever move back. Jin was your first love and you couldn’t forget anything about him, still having lingering feelings as you stared down at the small picture in your hands.

“I wonder what you’re up to Kim Seokjin…” You whispered to yourself, pulling your phone out of your pocket.

It was the first time you tried searching him up on social media after unfriending him. Back then you didn’t want to see all the things he was doing without you but since it had been years you figured anything you would see couldn’t hurt anymore. The first one to pop up on instagram had a picture of him, surprising you with how much he had grown. Hesitantly, you followed him before looking through his pictures. The first one was a video of him playing the guitar as he occasionally looked over at the person sitting in front of him with a smile. It must have been something he had recently picked up, not remembering him playing before. When you clicked off of the video to view everything else you saw a notification that he followed you back, followed by an alert of an incoming DM.

KSJ92 (Jin) :

“Hi Y/N. It’s been awhile, huh?”

    “Are you doing well?”

You couldn’t stop staring at the message, reluctant to reply. At first you weren’t going to say anything at all but to your horror even you could see that you had read it, so he was definitely aware. With a deep breathe, you considered sending something risky but if you didn’t say it now it might be strange to tell him later.

You:

“Hey, I’m doing good. Sorry it’s been so long, I actually moved back here and was wondering if you wanna to meet up?”

There was a pause in his response after he had read the message, not typing right away. It was hard to tell if the 5 year gap made things awkward but there was not many other reasons he would instantly message you and not want to catch up. When the long two minutes passed he finally sent something in return;

KSJ92 (Jin):

“Yeah sure, is today fine? I’m not sure which part of town you moved in but I know this cafe near me. They have your favorite cake too, if that’ll persuade you.”

You:

“What, really? That sounds great! Just send me the location and I’ll meet you there in like an hour.”

Setting your phone down, you immediately got up to change out of the sweatpants you had been wearing to unpack. You were nervous and excited at the same time mostly because it’s not like you didn’t know him but at the same time he could have changed a lot or not have remembered as much as you did about your relationship. It was hard not to wonder what he was thinking about meeting up again but then again, you never thought you’d get the chance to see him again after the way things ended.

When you checked yourself in the mirror one last time, you grabbed your things and headed out to the place based off of the directions in your phone. Luckily for you, it was only about a 10 minute walk from you seeing as though you must live close to each other without realizing it. Come to think of it there were plenty of apartment complexes and cafes on your way there so living in the city seemed to have it’s perks.

As your hand reaches for the doorknob, someone else pushes it open next to you.

“Wow, you almost look the exact same.” Jin gasped jokingly before sending a smile in your direction as he held the door open for you.

You looked up at him, examining the differences about him. The first thing you noticed was his handsomely dyed light brown hair unlike the pictures of his Instagram, as well as his newly developed height and obviously toned body even through the button up he was wearing, neatly tucked in the front of his pants. If it was even possible, he was even more handsome than he was before looking so much more grown.

“…Jin? You look completely-”

“Handsome? I know, I dressed up for you today.”

Not believing your ears you scoffed before giggling at his dumb remark, hitting his arm playfully as you entered the cafe. You walked over to a table by the window before sitting down, jin following behind you.

“Do you want a coffee? I’m gonna go order for us and bring it over here.” Jin suggested.

“Yeah sure, but only if you remembered my usual.”

“Ah, it’s been 5 years but you thought I wouldn’t remember? Come on…I’m a lot better than you think.”

“Is that so?” You smiled, resting your hand on your cheek.

“Of course. Just sit here and i’ll come back with everything.”

You nodded, watching him go up to the counter to place your order. Looking at him from a far made you really realize how much you missed him. Talking to him was still comfortable and though, he was a bit awkward before the two of you dated it completely faded after he asked you out.

Noticing you staring over at him he flashed a smile to which you waved in return. As you waited you just kept playing on your phone until you saw a small, white plate being pushed onto the table in the middle, accompanied by a coffee sitting right next to it. The tray still in his hands as he placed his own drink down, you pick up a fork, taking a bite of the chocolate cake. Jin set it to the side, sitting across from you with his drink.

“So, what brings you back here?” He asked.

“Well, things weren’t very comfortable when I left. I couldn’t adapt well to moving with my parents so I decided to get a job back here. I got hired after a few resumes and a video call interview and ta-da, here I am. I think Namjoon convinced me to move back here when I talked to him last time even though he doesn’t even live here anymore.”

“What’d he say?”

“If you don’t like it you can always move again but if you don’t do it at all, you’ll just be unhappy and wondering why you didn’t just give it a shot.”

“Yeah, sounds like him.”Jin smiled, nodding.

“What about you? What’s new?” You asked curiously, leaning over the table.

“Well I think you know the biggest news since I sent you an invitation-…oh wait, you never replied to it? Do you think you can make it?”

Your eyes brows furrowed in confusion, taking another bite of the cake. You covered your mouth to speak as you chewed. He seemed excited about whatever it was he was talking about.

“Invitation? Invitation to what?”

“My wedding, Y/N. I guess when you moved it got lost in the mail or sent to your old address.”

Suddenly the cake felt much more dry, coughing at his words. Jin stood up from his chair in shock to see if you needed help but you shook your head, waving your hand to assure him you’re okay.

“Are you okay?

“No, I’m fine. I had no idea…ha..wow, congratulations.”

His expression changed from being concerned to smiling again as he recalled his new fiancee. He pulled his phone out to show you a picture of her with the ring on her finger and you couldn’t even lie to yourself about how gorgeous and nice she looked. Your heart completely sank and any getting back together fantasy of yours had been crushed.

“That’s amazing. She’s really lucky..” You said quietly.

“Yeah, I know it seems weird to invite your ex to your wedding but we were best friends first and even if things didn’t end that well I thought it would be nice to see you again. When you added me I thought it would have been because of the wedding.”

“Ah, not really. I Just thought it would have been fun to see you again after so long. I found our old yearbooks and stuff when I was unpacking.”

“Well, do you think you can make it? I can always just mail you a new one-”

“W-well, I’m a bit busy. You know, new job and unpacking and everything but I’m happy for you guys.” It was hard to lie to his face but you tried to maintain the fake smile plastered on your face.

You were so absorbed in your own head you didn’t even notice he never told you the date of the wedding so an excuse was a bit strange to say. At least he would get the hint as you just stared down at the chocolate cake in front of you that no longer felt as special. You truly wanted to be happy for him and maybe you would have if you didn’t build up this whole meet up in your head, thinking he might have been the best guy for you and possibly being that girl alongside of him at that wedding.

“That’s fine, Yeah, no, I understand Y/N. It’s not that big of a deal.” Jin nervously laughed off the rejection.

“Aside from the wedding there are a few other things that’s changed.” He chimed in.

Pretending to listen, you looked over at him, nodding every few seconds he was talking. You knew this was it, you had missed your chance, and the only thing you could still think about was coming to terms with the fact the entire time he smiled at you or said something sweet to you he was someone else’s. The first guy you told you loved him now sat in front of you in love with someone else while you were still stuck in the past. You were just a past memory for him, no longer a future opportunity. And the more you kept thinking about it the harder it became to stop yourself from tearing up in front of everyone in this cafe. Your hands clutched the coffee cup a little tighter, knowing you should have expected this. There was no reason for him to stay single the way he was and finally you mustered up a real smile, unitentionally cutting him off.

“Thank you for giving me some of the best years in my life but I think for the sake of your fiancee, we shouldn’t meet anymore. I shouldn’t have added you as carelessly as I did and if I would have known I wouldn’t even have met with you today. I’m sorry…I really hope you guys are happy and I really mean that.” You let out, pulling a $10 from your purse to place it on the table before standing up and walking out the door.

Jin ran up from behind you, standing in front of you so you would stop.

“Wait! I asked her if it was okay to meet with you today. She’s fine with us being friends-”

“But I’m not. That’s the problem. I still care about you way too much to go to something like your wedding and maybe us dating wasn’t a big deal to you like it was to me but I’m not over you.” You admitted, blushing as you avoided his eyes.

“Y/N-”

“Stop, okay? I’m going home, thanks for trying though.”

Just as you said, you turned around and left, except this time he didn’t chase after you. The new house you came back to no longer looked like a place of a new life, it just reminded you of everything you used to have. You laid on the couch, letting out the tears you had been holding in just to go into your phone and delete him off of your social media. It felt selfish and you couldn’t stop thinking about the disappointed face he made before you ran off.  Things seemed to never work out the way you expected them to.

Could you write post Ons Son. Things are awkward , they are at Mulder's apartment. He's being an ass re "making it personal " remark /Diana , and Scully blows and walks out. He follows and they address the ftf hallway in the hallway , clear the air and awkward but hot first time make out/ kissing happens.

I have an announcement to make: it’s been SO long since I’ve seen this episode. So I apologize Anon, it was hard to write and it’s a little vague on the details!

It was just past 1am, and Mulder was showing no signs of falling asleep. He sat on the sofa, flicking through television channels mindlessly, but he couldn’t relax. He’d been on edge for a while now, following the events of the past few days, and even now his mind kept replaying his argument with Scully. She didn’t like or trust Diana, that much was obvious, but he just couldn’t understand why she would suggest that Diana was involved with abductions. He knew Diana, and he knew she was on his side. She had to be, because if she wasn’t…

YOOOOOO! It’s just like On the Run! Good times, that. They really are making an adventure out of it!

I wonder if we’ll see that rascally racoon again…

Hey, what do you know? Peridot isn’t moping around like she did on the train. She’s deadpan, sure, but she’s actually speaking at length about the Famethyst’s exit holes. She could even identify that one of them had curly hair due to iron deposits near the head space… Man, she wasn’t even right in there to look, she was down on the ground! Certified Kindergartener at work, everyone!

Peridot also said that the naming order goes top to bottom… I wonder if it’s actually possible to work out all the “names” of the Famethyst from that?

Also, I love Amethyst’s description that this place used to just be empty holes full of nothingness to her, but is now just empty holes full of nothingness that used to have things in them! How beautifully said.

So with Under the Mask
I’m sure you’re all wondering what I’m getting at
So what I’m trying to do is that I’m trying to give Bronev a personality
The games made him heartless, heck he doesn’t even seem to care for his sons, as he literally almost shot them down with drones in Azran Legacy
I feel like, even if Bronev never got to see his sons grow up, nobody would be that cruel to kill their sons (but it’s Bronev we’re talking about)
But Bronev actively saw Desmond break, he actually triggered his breakdown in front of him, and at first he doesn’t feel bad, he just thought he’d get answers that way
But Desmond is gone. The logic, the man that was there, he was already breaking, crumbling, but Bronev shattered him completely
And he feels bad for causing that much of a breakdown in his son, he only wanted to get a rise, nothing more
With Raymond gone, Desmond’s sanity left with him the moment that gun was fired, and now Bronev wants to fix it

Hi Cate! 1) keep posting pics of your adorable puppy and 2) What are your thoughts on Disney buying FOX regarding the future of The X-Files? Who will own it? From what I've heard Disney can't own another network so FOX channel probably won't be part of the deal but who will own their shows? And if Disney gets the rights of The X-Files IP what do you think will happen to the show in the future? Disney will rebooted it in a big movie franchise?

Hi anon!

Wow, that’s a big question. First, are talks of Disney buying FOX still happening? Second, even if they are, I tend to doubt they would automatically inherit TXF franchise…but I really don’t know enough about the proposed deal to speak to it knowledgeably, to be honest.

But let’s pretend Disney did purchase it. Would it really view Gillian and David as bankable movie stars? I really can’t see that being the case, to be frank. And the last thing I would want to see is a true “reboot” with new characters and David and Gillian making a small cameo. Just….NO.

This has nothing to do with Disney, but I would just love, love for S11 be the last of The X-Files. Just put this baby to bed, once and for all. And then let David and Gillian co-star in a small, independent movie brimming with grit, amazing dialogue, brilliantly-written characters, and hot love scenes.

Finally this is for you, anon (taken over three years ago, the day we brought Scout home):

It’s not just a feeling—it’s an emotion that causes action
—

It is time to change the meaning of the word

“love.”

The word is mostly used according to the first definition given in the dictionary:

“an intense feeling of deep affection.”

In other words, love is what one feels.

After years spent speaking with couples before, during and after marriage; and of talking to parents and children struggling with their relationships, I am convinced of the partiality of the definition.

Love should be seen not as a feeling but as an enacted emotion. To love is to feel and act lovingly.

Too many women have told me, bruises visible on their faces, that the husbands who struck them love them. Since they see love as a feeling, the word hides the truth, which is that you do not love someone whom you repeatedly beat and abuse. You may have very strong feelings about them, you may even believe you cannot live without them, but you do not love them.

The first love mentioned in the Bible is not romantic love, but parental love (Genesis 22). When a child is born, the parent’s reaction to this person, who so recently did not exist, is to feel that

“I would do anything for her.”

In the doing is the love—the feeling is enacted. That is why we often hear the phrase

“you don’t act like you love me.”

We know in our bones that love is not a feeling alone, but a feeling that flows into the world in action.

Between human beings, love is a relational word. Yes, you can love things that do not love you back—the sky or a mountain or a painting or the game of chess. But the love of other people is directional. There is a lover and a beloved—you don’t just love, but you love at someone. And real love is not only about the feelings of the lover; it is not egotism. It is when one person believes in another person and shows it.

In Fiddler on the Roof, when Tevye asks Golde whether she loves him after a quarter century of marriage, her wry answer is exactly on point:

For twenty-five years I’ve washed your clothes
Cooked your meals, cleaned the house
Given you children, milked your cow
She asks then,

“If that’s not love, what is?”

Of course it is possible to perform all sorts of duties for someone and feel little or nothing for them.

Love is not about being hired help. Love is not an obligation done with a cold soul. But neither is it a passion that expresses itself in cruelty, or one that does not express itself at all. The feeling must be wedded to the deed.

We would have a healthier conception of love if we understood that love, like parenting or friendship, is a feeling that expresses itself in action. What we really feel is reflected in what we do.

The poet’s song is dazzling and the passion powerful, but the deepest beauty of love is how it changes lives.

It wasn’t every night your parents would leave you to take care of your 8 month old sister, but after your father got a promotion at his job, they wanted to celebrate. You really didn’t want to ruin their celebration, so you offered to take care of little Anna for as long as they needed you to.

The only bad part was that you had to cancel your date with your boyfriend. You were dating Steve Harrington, the “King” of the school. He had told he really didn’t care about that title, and it was a bit stupid. You have been dating for at least 3 months, and your parents absolutely adored him, and you like to think his parents adore you too.

Anyway, Steve had been a bit upset when you told him you had to cancel. You were both going to watch a movie at his house since you worked at the theater and didn’t want to be there any longer than you needed to.

“Come on (y/n), we’ve been planning this for a week,” Steve said over the phone, you sighed.

“I know, I know- maybe tomorrow I can come over,” you said, feeling bad. Steve was silent for a moment.

“I’ll let it slide this time, but you have to promise me that we’ll spend the whole day together.” You furrowed your eyebrows.

“The whole day?” you asked, you can see him nodding.

“Yup! To make up for all the other times you had to cancel!” You scoffed.

“I only canceled once before this!” you claimed, he hummed.

“All day tomorrow so clear your schedule, babe,” You were silent for a moment, before a smile grew on your lips.

“I’ll get to that…I’m really sorry, Steve,” you apologized again.

“It’s alright (y/n), what are you doing anyway, I didn’t even ask,”

“I have to watch Anna, my parents are going out to celebrate or something,” you shrugged, moving on your stomach, holding your phone against your ear.

“You have to babysit?” he asked, his voice changing suddenly, like he was excited. You nodded as if he could see you.

“Yeah- I’m not canceling on you for no reason,” you laughed, Steve laughed as well. Your heart sped up because you really loved hearing his laugh.

“You know what- our date is not being canceled, tell your parents I’ll be there in 10 minutes,” Your smile fell, and you tilted your head.

“What?”

“You heard me! I’ll be there in ten minutes,” You could just hear him get up, and grab his car keys. You sat up.

“Steve! My parents aren’t going to like it if my boyfriend comes over while they’re gone- they might think-”

“Come on- we’re going to babysit, that’s all! I’ll see you in ten minutes! Love you!” Your jaw dropped. Was he seriously going to come over?

“(y/n)?” his voice broke you out of your thoughts and you shook off.

“I love you too, but if my parents turn you away at the door- don’t blame me!” He laughed, and you did too, before the line went dead.

【Japan Official Fanclub Magazine Vol.5】BTS My Biography – Jimin’s part

The middle school student who loves dancing became a member of BTS

My earliest memory is when I was 4 – 5 years old (nominal age) and we were moving to a new property nearby where we lived at the time. I held the rice cooker’s inner pot and helped my family to move. When I was a child, I loved to go outside to play with my hyungs and friends in the neighborhood every day. We often played football and hide & seek. Once I ran too far away and even ran to the nearby town (laughs).

In primary school, I loved to play with my friends. During the breaks, we often played football. Although I really liked drawing, I hated coloring. My future dreams changed constantly every day, I wanted to become a chef when I watched a cooking anime. When I watched ‘Galaxy Express 999’, I wanted to become the Galaxy Express’ driver, and I wanted to become a pirate when I watched ‘One Piece’.

I have a very good relationship with my young brothers, who’s 2 years younger. Sometimes, we play games together at home, or watch movies. I remember that we watched the anime ‘Dragon Balls’ and the movie ‘The Host’. We’re just like friends.

I got along with everyone in middle school. Although there’re 6 classes in my school, I pretty much knew everyone. I joined the football and table tennis clubs at school, I was happy every day back then.

I became interested in dancing during the 2nd grade of middle school. I used to go to practice punctually after school, and I started to attend a dance academy in 2010. I was also happy in the dance academy. Whenever I had time, I would go practice dance. I’ve also participated in big performances, but I was really nervous. Actually, even now sometimes I still get nervous when I stand on the stage.

A year before graduating from middle school, I started to think about attending an arts high school. I couldn’t even concentrate on studying when I was in the self-study room, I was worrying about “which high school should I attend? what do I want to do in the future…” While I was contemplating, I thought about having a job where I could stand on the stage. So, Busan Arts High school became my target. In dance majors, I wanted to learn dances that’s modern so I chose contemporary dance as my major. During high school, I spared no effort in dancing. At the time, my friends and I only knew dancing, we got together and practiced, messed around and then continued to practice. During high school, I also had to deal with the dance academy’s workload, but I worried about the tuition fees so I said: “I won’t attend the dance academy anymore.” However, the teacher said: “Jimin, you can attend even if you don’t pay.” The teacher took so much care of me, I wanted to repay the teacher so I practiced even harder. I learnt a lot under the guidance of the teacher. I’ve never thought about giving up dance, not even once.

During spring 2012, my middle school dance teacher contacted me so I auditioned and got accepted, then I decided to go to Seoul in May. The first member I met was Hobi hyung. Hyung welcomed me and said, “let’s work hard together!” Other members also came to talk to me, it just reminded me of the time when I arrived, I went to eat with everyone in the canteen. The happiest moment during the trainee life was when we eat and play together. I still have the amusement park ticket that we went together, I still carry that around in my wallet. It’s because it was the first time and first place that all of our members went together to play. So, it’s engraved on my memory. I’ve been carrying that ticket for about 5 years.

In Seoul, I got transferred to the same school as Taehyung. I was in Class 4 but Taehyung was in Class 2, the whole school knew Taehyung. Because Taehyung has a lot of friends so when he came to my class, he said to the students, “be nice to Jimin!” I’m really shy with strangers, but I gradually got close to my classmates thanks to Taehyung.

The most difficult part of the trainee life was the uncertainty of my future. I got anxious when I hear “you might get eliminated this time”, so I wanted to do my best with practicing. If I practiced until 3, 4am, I would sleep a bit and go practice singing at 6am for an hour and then go to school. This routine continued for about a year. At the time, I’ve never thought I could become a member of BTS, but I was chosen as a substitute member. The hyungs said: “we want to debut with Jimin”, and that became my strength. The feeling of wanting to debut with these hyungs grew stronger.

I was so excited when we debuted. The memories of when we had the showcase, we received a cake from our fans for the first time, after the showcase BTS members and staff members all cried, we went on music shows the next day, and Jin hyung cried. No matter how long it has been, I can’t forget those memories.

I don’t have anything new that I want to challenge in the future, I just want to challenge and see how far I can go with the things I’m doing now. I’m also diligently learning Japanese because I want to speak Japanese fluently!

(I love your writing it makes me wanna jump off a cliff with happiness) Can I uHHHHHHH get a drarry fic where it's 8th year and draco is quite and none of his friends are at hogwarts so he starts to make a habit of going outside at night and star gazing, one night harry decides he wants a break from the crowds so he goes outside only to find a sleepy draco and a whole lotto stars (Sorry if this ask sounded so demanding)

Ah thank you that’s so kind!  Only don’t go jumping off any cliffs!  Unless you’re base diving maybe…oh or bungee jumping.  Then that’s alright.  Also this took awhile because I started writing this in tumblr and IT ATE MY DAMN DRABBLE AND I WAS SO MAD, so it took me awhile to be less angry and start to try to write it all over.

“What’re you doing out here?”

Draco jumps at the unexpected voice, snapping his eyes open and shooting the other boy a dirty look which is met with an impish grin.  Draco would be more annoyed at the interruption if he weren’t finding it so attractive.  Fucking Potter, try as he might Draco can’t seem to dislike a single thing about him anymore.

“I was…relaxing.”

“Looked like you were sleeping.”

“I was not sleeping.  I was enjoying some peace and quiet before you so rudely interrupted.”

Potter doesn’t respond right away, so Draco finally looks at him and is surprised to see the other boy looking, well, nervous.  He wants to roll his eyes.  He doesn’t understand Potter sometimes, how he can be so smart and sarcastic and full of life and the next moment look like he’s unsure he’s wanted; he wonders what’s happened in his life that could make Potter so unsure how other people feel about him.  He wants to know desperately but they aren’t there yet so he files it away in his mental list of things he wants to know about Potter but may never find out.

When Potter makes no move to speak, or leave, Draco scoots to the side making room for the other boy to sit beside him.  He doesn’t say anything, just makes a bit of extra room on the blanket he’d transfigured when he’d come outside.  Thankfully words aren’t necessary and Potter slides down right next to him, impossibly close to Draco.

“So, Potter, what exactly are you doing here?  Isn’t there some sort of party going on in the common room?”

Potter huffs out a laugh, rubbing his hands on his knees.  “There’s always a party going on.  I just…there’s,” he sighs, looking a bit uncomfortable as if he isn’t sure what to say.

“There’s a lot of people in there.  Rather noisy.”  Draco sometimes wonders how it seems as if they both seem to feel the same, despite the fact that their experiences couldn’t have been more different.  It should be weird, realizing how much they have in common, but instead it just feels right.

The tension visibly leaves Potter’s body at Draco’s words.  “Yes…yes, that.”

After several quiet moments, Draco finds himself speaking without even consciously deciding to do so.  “I came outside to watch the stars.  Growing up I always liked astronomy, and I know what you’re thinking but it wasn’t some narcissist thing because I’m named after a bloody constellation alright.  It’s just…they’re fixed you know?  No matter what happens, whether we can see them or not, the stars are always the same.  I like that, knowing that some things are constant.”

“It’s beautiful,” Potter whispers, but when Draco turns his head to agree he realizes Potter isn’t looking at the stars, he’s looking at him.  And then Potter’s hand is reaching towards him, one of them reaching out to tangle his fingers with Draco’s and the other moving to the back of his neck.  They’re so close Draco can feel the other boy’s warm breath ghosting across his face.

“What are you doing, Potter?”

“No fucking idea,” he mumbles, closing the distance and pressing his lips to Draco’s.  Potter taste like fire whiskey and chocolate, and his lips are ice cold and chapped.  It’s perfect.

It occurs to Draco, as Potter pushes him down on the blanket, kissing him as if he were the air Potter needed to breath, that Draco has spent his entire life looking for something that wouldn’t change when maybe what he should’ve been doing was finding someone or something worth changing for.

Maybe like a dying star they will crash and burn, or maybe they’ll stay a constant he can look for on his darkest days.  All Draco knows as he reaches out to touch Potter in as many places as possible, is that for once in his life maybe he’s not so afraid of the unknown anymore.

anonymous asked:

This may be old hat, but I have seen people talk about how Shiro clearly favors Keith to the detriment of other team members. Namely, Lance. I don't feel like this very IC, but I wanted to get other opinions and I enjoy your meta.

This is something in fanon that’s always kind of bothered me honestly. I have a whole meta here about how Shiro protects Lance and cares for him throughout Sendak’s takeover. I honestly don’t understand how people could say Shiro doesn’t care enough about Lance when Shiro was literally willing to get captured and tortured again for his sake. “But that was one time!” some fans will say. As if putting your life on the line and getting a few thousand volts of electricity surging down your spine isn’t a big deal apparently?? Shiro cares for Lance, he does. He could’ve won that fight, but he threw it for Lance’s sake.

Something that I repeatedly see people cite as a sign Shiro “favors” Keith over Lance is their talk before the BOM. Shiro decides he’s going to take Keith with him, and Lance lashes out. He claims Keith is unable to stay calm, and yet, he’s the one losing his temper. And this is only the latest in a long line of instances in which their supposed “rivalry” is really just a one-sided game where Lance is the instigator and Keith repeatedly has to remain calm and either try to make peace or just tune him out. Throughout season 2, he really snaps back. In contrast, Lance has demonstrated again and again that he is childish and self-centered, that he himself has a quick temper. And yet, he’s quick to direct the blame at Keith. Who handles it quite gracefully, might I add.

So yeah, anyway, Shiro was right. It was a good call to bring Keith instead of Lance. But because Lance is often placed upon a pedestal, somehow not coddling him 24/7 can be misconstrued as abuse. I think another reason people are so quick to say Shiro doesn’t treat Lance the way he deserves is because he doesn’t talk Lance through all his insecurity issues. But you know what? If Lance wants to talk about it, then he has to bring it up. The only two people that have actually addressed that directly are Allura and Keith. And both of them only do so after Lance brings it to their attention. If Lance doesn’t speak up or keeps up an act, how is Shiro supposed to see the signs and help?

More importantly, people act as though all of Lance’s insecurities are somehow Shiro’s fault. Why is that? Shiro has been imprisoned and tortured for a year. His PTSD and consequential paranoia, depression, and anxiety are far more difficult to deal with than Lance feeling upstaged. And yet, Shiro would never presume that this was somehow everyone else’s burden, or that they owed him more because of it. So why should Lance merit special treatment? Yes, Shiro isn’t as attentive with Lance and Hunk. But that’s because they’re so much more well adjusted.

I don’t mean this badly, it’s just a fact. They came from good, loving homes. Hunk feels fondly enough about his family to want to return, and seems to have no baggage associated it. Lance meanwhile we know was the youngest sibling and somewhat spoiled. They had it good before. There’s nothing wrong with that. Characters don’t have to have traumatic backstories to be deep or meaningful. But this also means that these two aren’t dealing with the same shit as Keith and Pidge. They don’t have Keith’s abandonment issues or the shared grief he and and Pidge feel over losing their family. These two need more reassurance and guidance and comfort, and Shiro is of course there to provide it.

Bizarrely enough, it also feels like fans are unable to believe that Shiro has friends. Lance treats Hunk significantly better than Keith from day one, and in fact forces his personal vendetta on Keith for purely selfish reasons. But Keith is expected to graciously accept this because “it’s just from Lance’s insecurities.” Meanwhile, Shiro clearly has nothing against Lance and has never singled him out or treated him poorly out of nowhere. Yet he’s accused of favoritism. This favoritism is really just friendship. He knew Keith before Kerberos, was so close with him he literally brought Keith to the launch instead of his own family. They’ve clearly been side by side for a long time, long enough for Keith to develop an intense desire to be with him when he shuts out everyone else. Long enough for Shiro to not be surprised that it’s Keith of all people who shows up to save him.

Romantic or not, “Shiro and Keith have the closest relationship.” In Joaquim’s own words, that’s canon (source). So of course their interactions will be different from everyone else’s. That gravity and vulnerability is unique to them alone. And honestly? Removing that link is clearly detrimental to both their coping mechanisms. I think it’s selfish for people to expect Shiro to either push Keith away or pull everyone else in. He’s not ready for something like that, and it shouldn’t be forced on him. Everyone else is allowed to have best friends or romance or whatever’s happening here. Why can’t Shiro? Why is that so wrong? And, to take this in another direction–were Lance to somehow become Black Paladin, does that mean he has to distance himself from Hunk? That he can’t still be interested in Allura? No, I don’t think so.

And I mean, Shiro does trust Lance, you know? He does still take Lance’s input into account. When Lance says he wants to try to make that impossible shot in Beta Traz, Shiro lets him. Shiro trusts him. And when he makes it? Shiro compliments him! And the reaction is immediate–Lance is clearly thrilled. So yes, Shiro does think Lance is capable of great things. Yes, Shiro lets Lance know when he does a good job and wants to be supportive of him. That much is clear.

I think the other reason why people assume Shiro is somehow biased against Lance because he made Keith Black Paladin instead. And, I’m going to be completely straightforward here–the idea of Black Paladin Lance just makes no sense to me. Neither in the narrative nor thematically and it certainly doesn’t fit with his character development. The thing is, I think people have lost sight of what Black Paladin really means. It’s not a popularity contest. It doesn’t mean you’re the “best” and you shouldn’t just want your fav to have that spot. Lance is far more suited to the role of a Red Paladin, as reflected in his parallels with Alfor, his talk with Allura, and his character arc. To quote my other meta:

It’d be a huge setback and really detract from his character development. When he sits in the Black Lion for “like half a varga” Lance’s main motivation here is seeking his own glory. His character arc is about learning to grow past that and see the bigger picture and realize everyone in Voltron is part of a whole and you’re not better because you’re the leader.

The way he treated Keith earlier in that episode was also incredibly malicious considering the guy was grieving the loss of the person he loved most. And Lance still has the audacity to spit on Shiro’s last “dying” will and continually provoke Keith until he lashes out or leaves. Learning to see the wrong in that and instead supporting Keith was a huge step for him, and I don’t see why he’d ever still take Black after that.

It also makes no sense thematically. When Keith steps into Black again, he says, “I know this is what you wanted for me, Shiro. But I’m not you. I can’t lead them like you.” And Lance just goes, “This is your moment.” Keith’s concern first and foremost is with what Shiro wanted and what’s best for the team. Lance just wants to steal the spotlight. He has no intrinsic connection to the Black lion through his bond with Shiro the way Keith does. He also doesn’t have those thematic parallels to Zarkon the way Keith does–instead, he’s recognized as being very similar to Alfor.

People act like Shiro and Keith stole away Lance’s chance at leadership, but Shiro wasn’t even considering anyone else. Lance was never even in the running.

The thing is, I kind of understand where people are coming from. To my knowledge, a lot of fans find Lance to be the most relatable, and reflect on him–likewise, I often do this with Keith. But anyway, people really feel for Lance and see their own insecurities through him. But that still doesn’t mean everyone should drop everything to immediately focus on him. Shiro is a good leader. Shiro cares about all of his paladins. Shiro by no means has anything against Lance. But that doesn’t mean he should be given the spot as Black Paladin just because he’s Lance, or that Shiro should be micromanaging his and the other paladins’ emotional needs 24/7 when he’s just trying to get by himself. I understand people feeling for Lance and wanting to see him reach his full potential. But that doesn’t mean everyone has to bow down to him. In fact, going by his daydreams and personal arc–this would significantly negate a good amount of his character development.

“Do I look okay?” your sister Jen asked for the 100th time from the backseat of your mother’s car. You rolled your eyes, not even bothering to look at her.

“You look great, Jen,” you replied.

“You didn’t even look!” she cried.

For perhaps the third time you spun yourself around to take a look at your sister who was all dolled up and ready for the Snow ball.

“You look beautiful, now stop asking and stop touching your hair,” you slapped her hand away lightly, she flinched and grumbled. You knew she had a crush on one of the boys there, she just wouldn’t tell you who it was. But by how nervous she was, and how she was acting, you knew what was bothering her.

“Hey…whoever this boy you’re crushing over…he’s gonna think you’re the most beautiful girl in the room okay? And he’s going to ask you to dance,” you said, fixing her hair for her. Jen blushed.

“And if he doesn’t?”

You scoffed, “Then he’s a damn idiot, and you’re too good for him,” Jen let out a laugh. Your mother glanced at you two before pulling up in front of the school, behind another car who was dropping off their kid.

Unfortunately for you, your mother had wanted you to stick around the parking lot all night and wait for the Snow ball to end. Also, it was really, really cold out there. But, you didn’t want your mom to worry over Jen all night, so you agreed to stay. You would find something to do, even if that included freezing to death.

Death. Hah. That word honestly didn’t even faze you that much anymore, not after what had occurred in the past month. Images of alien like dog creatures Dustin had called ‘Demo-dogs’ flashed through your mind, especially of the one he called ‘Dart’ who nearly chewed your face off. And then there was that girl with the slicked back hair who everyone seemed to recognize except for you and Steve. Apparently, she had superpowers and helped close the gate and saved the world or something. You honestly didn’t know what to believe, or even do with all this newfound information.

You guessed life would just go on eventually, and somehow you’d manage to live past it.

You stood next to your sister, both of you waving good-bye to your mother, who yelled, “Have a good time and be safe!” before driving off and out of the drop-off zone. Jen sighed, flattening down her light pink dress.

“Are you really going to stay out here all night?” Jen asked as you both walked towards the entrance, you shrugged.

“It’ll be fun- staying out here all by myself in the freezing cold in order to avoid my past middle school teachers trying to catch up with me,” Jen laughed, stopping in front of the entrance and turning to face you.

“Are you sure I look okay, (y/n)?”

You glared slightly at her, pretty sure she’s just taking in the compliments, but you just smiled and held a thumbs up. Jen was about to speak before her eyes caught something behind you. Her cheeks suddenly turned the same color as her dress. You raised a brow, and turned around, seeing who had made her all flustered.

“Dustin?” you asked, the younger boy was surprised to see you here, but not as surprised as you when you saw how much his hair looked super familiar.

“What are you doing here, (y/n)?” he asked, you tore your eyes from his hair and pointed behind you.

“Just dropping off Jen-” but when you turned around, she was gone and already in the gym. You blinked, huffing slightly as you realized that Dustin was the boy she was so keen on. You laughed lightly, thinking that it was the cutest thing ever.

Your mind went back to Dustin’s hairstyle the moment you looked back at him.

“Okay- tell me right now…is Steve your role model or something?” You asked, jokingly. Dustin gave you an annoyed look before you chuckled, “You look great kiddo, now go in there and for the love of god find Jen and ask her to dance,” you winked. Dustin furrowed his eyebrows.

“Wait- what? really?”

You clicked your tongue before your eyes went to the car Dustin had gotten out of. Your jaw dropped when you instantly recognized it as Steve’s. Dustin noticed your excitement and gave a smug smile.

“He’s staying because he saw you and is hoping you’ll go over there to talk or something,” he said nonchalantly, you side-glanced Dustin, seeing him look at the car and wave. You can just feel Steve’s glare on the kid. You merely laughed it off.

“Don’t you have a ball to attend, kid?” you asked, Dustin cursed softly and walked into the entrance, muttering something about asking Jen to dance, a cheeky grin on his face. You shook your head, crossing your arms against your chest before turning and starting to walk over to Steve’s car.

You leaned down to his open window, a toothy grin and asked, “Is that you Steve? My knight in shining armor?” Steve smiled at the sight of you, and waved your comment off.

“Yeah, the one and only,” he responded, knowing you were referring to when he saved you from losing your face to some demo-dog, “Are you going to head home?”

You shook your head.

“Gotta stay here until it ends and make sure Jen is still alive after or something,” you shrugged, Steve laughed.

“Oh no- that’s not okay,” he said, “As your knight in shining armor, I’m going to save you from freezing to death…” he reached over and opened the car door, his other hand still resting on the wheel. You put your hand over your heart.

“Wow…what a gentlemen,” you commented as you climbed into his car, Steve shrugged, eyes still resting on you. You didn’t notice the way he stared at you, like Dustin had noticed when Steve pulled up and saw you.

“That’s what I am, didn’t you know?”

You just hummed, hugging your arms closer to you. Steve noticed, eying your shivering form before an idea popped in his mind.

“Wanna go get a warm drink or something?” he asked, you tilted your head in thought.

“Warm drink? You mean like coffee?” you asked, a playful glint in your eyes.Steve stared at you for a moment, before realizing how stupid he must sound.

“I said that…” he muttered. You snickered, but nodded.

“Yeah, I could go for a warm drink…” Steve cracked a smile, eyes still lingering on yours before starting his car. When he looked away as he began to drive out of the parking lot, you looked at the side of his face, thinking you saw a shade of pink on his cheeks…but it was too dark.

We’ll see that, sweetheart - Dean Winchester x Reader

Title: We’ll see that, sweetheart

Pairing: Dean Winchester x Reader

Warnings: None

Imagine: Imagine Dean and you being hunting partners and in love with each other for year, but are too scared to admit it. You are close and have a strong bond, being intimate in different ways every time. When he sees you interact with Jack and take care of him he remembers how he’s always wanted to have kids with you and finally gets the courage to bring it up to you.

A/N: In a close to perfect Supernatural universe this is how I’d like to see Dean open up to Jack, just to get over a lil bit of the pain in the previous episode! But I love both so much that the writers are only making it harder for me now!

“And that is how you can also raise the volume if you want to hear more clear, but careful with that around here cause Dean’s always a grumpy old man with these stuff.” you said playfully and Jack grinned slightly, just as Dean looked at you and scoffed.

“I’m not old.” hemuttered and you hummed.

“Sure, whatever you say grandpa!” you winked but he just shook his head, a small smile creeping on his lips “And- no, Jack he’s not my granpa. It’s just a thing, I call him stupid nicknames sometimes. That’s all.” you said, noticing how the nephilim was ready to ask.

“Oh” he nodded his head “Alright, and if I want to watch… cartoons, I press on number one and then three. For… thirteen, right?”

“Exactly! And there’re plenty of Scooby Doo there for you too!” you giggled, patting his back as he broke into an adorable grin.

“I really like that one, it’s wonderful!” he breathed out, his eyes sparkling.

“It sure is, Jack.” you chuckled “But remember, whenever there isn’t something good on TV and you really want to do something you can opt for a book!”

“Yeah if you wanna be a nerd in life sure.” Dean mumbled and you shot him a look.

“There are plenty of good ones around here, and I have a lot I think you’d like.” you said softly to Jack “Just until you find what you really like and what not we keep exploring, alright?”

“Then I think we should name you Dora.” Dean muttered with a snicker and you couldn’t fight the grin that spread on your lips, as Jack merely tilted his head to the side and frown.

“Do- Dora? What is that?” he mumbled and you still couldn’t fight the laughter that left your lips.

“Dean!” you exclaimed, throwing a pillow at him as he dodged it “How the hell do you even know about that?!” you shook your head.

[…] According to Carrie Bradshaw, when you live in New York, you’re always looking for a job, a significant other or an apartment — the three elusive keys to success and happiness. Now that list has grown to include tickets to “Hamilton.”

Yes, “Hamilton,” the groundbreaking musical that’s sold out months in advance. When a single ticket can cost over $1,000, revealing just how much money you spent on the show has become a status symbol in cocktail-party conversation.

I have seen “Hamilton.” I have seen it three times, in fact, thanks to my job as a journalist, which frequently involves writing about theater. And when I’m dating, somehow that one aspect of my existence is all anyone wants to talk about.

I can see why, if people read my work, they might think I somehow have easy access to the show. I’ve interviewed most of the original cast, including the women who played the Schuyler sisters and Chris Jackson, who played George Washington. I wrote about Javier Muñoz’s triumph over cancer and, in what is by far the most unexpected moment of my career, I have beat-boxed while the show’s creator, Miranda, free-styled.

When New Yorkers meet someone for the first time, they usually ask “What do you do?” or “Where do you live?” When meeting potential gentlemen callers, I’ve come to dread answering that question, because about 95 percent of the time, the conversation immediately turns to “Hamilton.” The exchange usually goes something like this:

Him: What do you do?
Me: I’m a journalist.
Him: What do you write about?
Me: Culture and politics. I focus on feminism and health care.
Him: What kind of culture?
Me: I write a lot about theater. And film and TV as well.
Him: Have you seen “Hamilton”?
Me: Yes …
Him (leaning in, speaking quietly): Can you get me tickets? Or do you know how to get them?

[…]

I would love to meet a man who enjoys seeing theater and would appreciate all of the dates we’d go on together — not just “Hamilton.” One of the musical’s most famous lyrics states: “I am not throwing away my shot.” I wish these men would realize that when they ask if I can get them tickets, they have already thrown away theirs.

Forget me not

Thaaaaank you @alwaysfangirly!! 💖 And omg, you’re so kind! And so patient! Because this took me forever and you were so sweet about it! 💖 I hope you like what I did with it! (Even though it might be kinda messy and confusing…) Oh, and I also posted it on AO3, because… well, once more, it turned out longer than I intended…

“Pansy, where was I yesterday?”

“What?”

“What was I doing? Did you see me talking to anyone?”

Draco paced the length of the eighth year common room, feeling Pansy’s intent stare on him.

“Those are really odd questions to ask. Have you lost your mind?”

“In a manner of speaking,” Draco muttered, stopping in front of the fireplace. “I think someone obliviated me. No, I am sure someone obliviated me.”

He heard Pansy get off the armchair and walk over to him.

“Are you sure? Why would someone do that to you?”

“That’s what I’d like to know,” Draco growled.

“But how can you be sure you’ve been obliviated? I mean, isn’t the point of obliviating someone that they… well, forget?”

Draco scratched the back of his neck, nodding absentmindedly.

“Something just felt off when I woke up this morning. I was sure it was Wednesday but then I saw the Daily Prophet and realised it was already Thursday. I remember everything until Tuesday night and waking up today. But if I try to think about what happened yesterday, my mind just goes blank. I’ve been racking my brain all day long. It’s the only explanation, Pansy. I-”

Draco stopped in his tracks when he saw Potter enter the common room. Something was… weird about him today. He didn’t look at Draco. He hadn’t looked at Draco all day. He always looked at Draco. He probably thought it went unnoticed but, of course, Draco noticed. He always stared right back whenever Potter briefly averted his eyes. Always. But why was Potter avoiding his gaze today?

“Potter!” Without a moment’s hesitation, he strode over to the Gryffindor.

“Hey Malfoy,” he mumbled, his eyes on the carpet.

“Potter, is there something you want to tell me?” Draco inquired, lowering his head to catch the other boy’s eye.

“No?” the Gryffindor said, his voice slightly shaking.

“I think there is. Out with it, Potter! Something happened yesterday, I know it.”

“You do?” Potter said in astonishment, finally looking up. His eyes were full of wonder and… apprehension. “But you shouldn’t-” He broke off, pressing his mouth into a thin line.

“I shouldn’t what?” Draco said, stepping closer and narrowing his eyes. “Remember? You did it, didn’t you? You were the one who obliviated me.”

Potter was trying very hard to keep a straight face, but Draco saw right through him.

“The question is,” he said slowly, lowering his voice, “why did you do it?”

Potter closed his eyes and let out a sigh.

“I’ve been feeling guilty about that all day. I shouldn’t have done it.”

“Then why did you?” Draco asked.

“I panicked, okay? I didn’t do it on purpose. It was like a reflex.”

Now Draco simply had to know what had happened the day before. This sounded serious.

“Show me,” he said, grabbing Potter by the wrist.

“How-”

“There’s got to be a Pensieve around here somewhere,” Draco muttered, already dragging Potter out of the common room.

“There is, actually,” Potter mumbled behind him.

Draco looked around the memory he and Potter had just dived into. They were in the dungeons and class had just started.

“Professor, why are you showing us Amortentia again?” one of the students asked, sounding more eager than annoyed.

“Because,” Professor Slughorn said with a smile, “I want you to brew an antidote today. So everyone take a quick sniff to get in the right mood and get started.”

Draco frowned as he watched himself go into the storage room, apparently ignoring Slughorn’s instructions. His eyes then fell on Potter, Pensieve-Potter to be precise, who stood in front of the cauldron full of Amortentia. Granger and the Weasel were standing beside him, grinning at each other. It was disgusting.

“What do you smell, Harry?” the Weasel asked. Potter blinked.

“Nothing.”

“Come on, we’re your friends. You can tell us,” the Weasel insisted, elbowing him.

“No, Ron, I literally smell nothing,” Potter muttered, sounding genuinely surprised.

“That’s strange,” Granger chimed in.

“Yeah.” Potter creased his eyebrows. “I would have thought-” He stopped abruptly as Draco, well, Pensieve-Draco, came into view again, locking eyes with him.

“Professor, have you ever heard of anyone who doesn’t smell anything? In regards to Amortentia, I mean.”

“Hermione,” Potter growled through gritted teeth.

“What, she didn’t say it was you,” the Weasel shrugged. Potter slapped a hand to his forehead and Draco saw himself smirk.

“You don’t smell anything, Potter? That’s pretty pathetic.” When Pensieve-Draco simply strutted back to his desk and began chopping his ingredients, the real Draco frowned.

“So that’s the big secret? This is why you obliviated me?” he asked.

“Wait for it,” Potter mumbled. Was Draco imagining it or were Potter’s cheeks turning a bit rosy? He was biting the inside of his cheek, too, and constantly shifting his weight. He was nervous.

Intrigued, Draco watched as the class proceeded without significant interruptions.

When Slughorn dismissed them and students started hurrying out of the classroom, Draco tapped his foot impatiently. He paused when he saw his past self purposely bump into Potter, causing the Gryffindor to drop all his books.

Smirking to himself, Pensieve-Draco bent down to help Pensieve-Potter pick up his things, quickly scanning the room. They were the only ones left.

“So, you really didn’t smell anything?” Draco heard himself ask. Pensieve-Potter just scowled at him. Draco could see what Pensieve-Potter obviously didn’t; Pensieve-Draco was disappointed. “Nothing at all?”

Getting up, Pensieve-Potter slammed down his books on the desk nearest to him.

“Not that it’s any of your business, but I used to smell… something. So you can save your taunts about-”

“What is that?” Pensieve-Draco suddenly asked. Potter had been draping his Gryffindor scarf around his neck but had halted at the Slytherin’s outburst. The real Draco watched closely as his past self stretched out a hand and examined the scarf.

“What is it now?” Pensieve-Potter said, sounding irritated but also slightly nervous. “It’s my scarf.”

Pensieve-Draco slowly shook his head as he drew out his wand.

“No, something is off.” He pointed his wand at the scarf and before Potter could protest or interfere, he had mumbled, “Revelio.”
