Here is my full piece for @a-little-light-zine that I had the greatest honor and pleasure to participate in. I have no idea how lighting works haha but this was very fun for me to draw. The story behind this is that these dorks are meeting to head to a black tie affair party and Chat is always prepared to keep his Princess protected from the elements and perhaps with a surprise gift as well.

Orders ~ Participants ~ About the Zine

If you haven’t yet please consider checking out and maybe even donating to get a digital copy of this zine. Artists, writers and cosplayers participated in this wonderful charity zine to benefit the victims of hurricane Matthew.

I started listening to Welcome to Night Vale recently and I think I fell in love, thanks again for showing me this shit @silversatori! xD

I got curious if there was any fanart of him and checked out the tumblr tags (in hindsight maybe not the best idea, I might have spoilered myself a little lol) but I wanted to draw Cecil as well at least once and since for all I know he has little to no taste in fashion (like me) I crammed up some imo shitty looking clothes and threw them together in this doodle
And yes, that is a friggin Jat (jeans+hat)

My overall design for him as it is now isn’t really mine though, I just kind of threw together all kinds of designs I saw and liked and crammed it all up into this out of both lazyness and tiredness :’D

I know I’m hanging behind on things, but I hope that you’ll (after a too long period of not posting any art lmao) like it~

  • Taehyung: What did Jungkook mean, "you'd make a cute couple"?
  • Namjoon: Well, I assume he meant that the two of you together would constitute a couple that others might consider cute.
  • Taehyung: If Jungkook didn't know that Yoongi had already turned me down, then that would unambiguously mean that he, Jungkook, thought I should ask he, Yoongi, out, indicating that he, Jungkook, had no interest in me asking him, Jungkook, out; but because he did know that I had asked Yoongi out, and that he, Yoongi, had turned me down, then he, Jungkook, could be offering me consolation - "That's too bad, you would have made a cute couple..." - while thinking, "good, Taehyung remains available."
  • Namjoon: You're a lucky man, Taehyung.
  • Taehyung: How so?
  • Namjoon: You're talking to one of the three men in the country capable of following that train of thought.
  • Taehyung: Well, what do you think?
  • Namjoon: I said I could follow it, I didn't say I cared.

  • THE END

anonymous asked:

Why don't people like Jowan??? I always liked him. I don't get why people use the "because he's a blood Mage" argument as reason enough to not like him. He only seems to use it out of desperation, i.e. when he was trying to escape the circle because they were going to make him a husk of a person. Which he probably got into it because he didn't want to be too weak of a Mage because then he would, again, be turned into a husk of a human. Besides, nobody ever thinks about the fact that (1)

(2) Blood magic can have healing properties too so it doesn’t necessarily have to be used for bad things, the only reason people think it can is because the only ones who aren’t ashamed of using it is Tevinter and we all know how they use it. People only think it’s bad is because we hear the Chantry talk bad about it all the time. That it’s evil. Because “Ahhh demons” but.. mages have to deal with demons all the time anyway essentially? So why not use them to your advantage to help people??

I’ve seen people dislike him because he’s a “whiny white boy” and as much as I dislike white boy characters filled with whiny manpain, I have to disagree. (And congrats on your reductionist attitude.)

Personally, I like Jowan because he’s an anxious, nervous, weak idiot (aka me) who tried to flee an oppressive system, failed, became desperate, and then was punished for it. Not only was the system rigged against him from the start, but his friend ends up either turning on him or failing to help him. It’s implied that he’s made Tranquil even if you ask Arl Eamon to spare him.

So he’s weak from the start, knows he’ll be made Tranquil, uses blood magic to protect Lily from the Templars, Lily leaves him, his friend can either betray him or can’t help him, and even if he helps Arl Eamon fix his son (I always have him be the one who goes into the Fade to kill the demon), he’s still taken to the Circle and made Tranquil anyway.

It’s tragic and I feel bad for everything that’s happened to him. It was either blood magic or magical lobotomy (which he can’t escape from in the end anyway), and people still have the gall to blame him for what happened to him.

He ends up working for Loghain because Loghain promised him he’d smooth things over with the Circle. He regretted his actions so much that he was willing to return to the prison he’d fought to escape from.

I like Jowan because he’s tragic and can’t get a break, and ends up being the one who’s blamed for everything despite the fact that he’s a victim of the circumstances and is genuinely a good person who just wanted to be free without hurting anybody.

Fleur de Lis Typography - The Musketeers

I have always wanted to try my hand at doing a typography piece and what better symbol to start with than the fleur de lis from the Musketeers?

The fleur de lis is made of words that represent the King’s Musketeers: Athos, Porthos, Aramis and D’Artagnan. I designated each stem to a musketeer and within that stem are words that relate to that musketeer.

(I couldn’t choose which I liked more between the version with the ink stains and the one without so I decided to post both.)

It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

Samwise Gamgee and I want to send love to anyone who is struggling tonight. I know there’s a lot of people scared and hurting about the US Presidential elections.

Colored sketches of Risa, Connor, Hayden, Lev, and Miracolina! (I also drew Bam but it turned out really bad so I didn’t include her D;)

Here are the Alpha-Beta body type headcanon swaps I colored in today’s stream! I think they’re actually not bad this way, either >v>

I’d like to formally apologize to the Striders, who were the first to be drawn with swapped body types - unfortunately during a wobbly train ride.

What are we holding onto, Sam?

That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo… and it’s worth fighting for.

Kiki moved into Nest & no one was more excited than Chouette who specially welcomed her as soon as she had settled in.
