i didn't really liked this movie

anonymous asked:

If Natasha's a racist can you please change your display pic? It makes me really uncomfortable. In fact this entire discussion ruins the movie for me. How can you support, I don't get it?

oh my goddddd. i don’t know how to describe this. i feel like when i say she’s casually racist, yall are taking it like im straight up calling her a member of the k**. everyone makes casually racist comments.

i’m allowed to recognize these comments & call them out/put my opinion out there.

i’m hoping that she learns and grows in the future which is why im glad that she acknowledged that her saying she doesnt see color was problematic. it’s progress, and i hope that she keeps learning. but people don’t learn if you don’t point out the wrongs they make.

if somehow this ruins the movie for you (which i don’t understand why it would) im sorry

i support the series/movie because i like the characters and the story there’s nothing more to it

  • Them: You know that the relationship validation thing between Batman and the Joker in the LEGO Batman movie was one big joke right?
  • Me: Yeah, yeah of course I do.
  • Them: ...
  • Me: ...But it was still really gay, right?
  • Them: Oh yeah, no, it was totally gay. Like I'm kind of surprised they didn't kiss in the end.

Alright, it was pretty cute.

Power Rangers Fucked Me Up Reason #1

Kimberly’s reaction to finding her note in Billy’s pocket. It was an off hand comment, probably something she joked about with her other friends. But finding in it in Billy’s jacket made her realize what she said really impacted him as a friend. He even kept the note.

I swear, next time someone says how Gafou is an abusive ship because of the manipulation scene (no shit, Sherlock), I’ll write some dumb crackfic of Gaston giving up the mob to braid LeFou’s hair or something.

  • Me, watching Star Wars #2: Meh.
  • Me, watching Clone Wars S1E2: Anakin Skywalker is my son, and he belongs to Obi-Wan Kenobi 5eva.

I just watched the heathers movie. I didn't listen to the musical soundtrack but is JD as sociopathic in the musical as he was in the movie? Is there anything I'm missing out on bc I see ppl romanticizing him a bunch and it makes me a little iffy. Please tell me if I'm being ignorant in any way bc I'm just really confused as to how he's "adorable" and "cute"

he is indeed as sociopathic
and i feel like people refer to the actor(whether it be ryan or dan etc etc) rather than jd himself when they say he’s cute or w/e

Just saw Beauty & the Beast, & I can confirm:

Lefou is super fucking gay.

If you watch the film, watch his face when he looks at gaston: you’ll see it before the end.

I’m not gonna spoil anything, but when asked “Why can’t you get any girls, Lefou?”, he has the face of “Jesus fucking christ I'm gay asshole”.

Sort how the Finn and Dameron interaction went, it’s subtle, so make sure you look for it.

Anyways, the film was great, animations were fucking fantastic, though I didn't really like Emma’s singing, it was very enjoyable (and gay).

we all know how bad isak is at maneuvering the internet™ so what if even helps isak get to know the gay side of the interwebs (beside the gay test of couse)

even introducing isak to gay youtube like:

  • “you never watched a coming out story???” and then proceeding to show him the ones that helped him come to terms with himself
  • showing him cute couples that vlog (and picking up their catch phrases)
  • “actually there are also gay people on youtube whose videos don’t revolve around being gay. like there is this science channel that even i like to watch and they are a gay couple” and isak is really surprised that they exist

even going “isak you know you don’t HAVE to buy every film you want to watch, right?”

  • and then showing him his favourite gay lovestories including, but not limited to, “The Way He Looks” and “Jongens”

slowly easing isak into pop music again by playing him his favourite songs byy out and proud gay artists

  • think about them listening to years & years while cuddling in bed
  • isak quietly singing along to Troye Sivan
  • even convincing isak to listen to Pentatonix and then spending an evening marvelling at their talent. he even gets isak to admit that Scott kinda rally is his type.
  • Frank Ocean
  • feel free to add to this list

"I believe he explicitly mentioned Apaches" omg seriously? i always thought the reaver/native american thing was done in kind of an ignorant white boy way of thinking, 'well i really like this trope and sure it's racist, but i'm going to take out all the people of color and make everybody white, so now it can't be racist anymore, see? SEE?' but like, comparing them to a specific native american nation. that takes away all plausible deniability that you didn't know what you were doing.

I went and dug up the original quote, because I wasn’t sure if I was remembering it properly:

“The movie deals with the Reavers in a way that ’Firefly’ would have as time went on,” said Whedon. “Every story needs a monster. In the stories of the old west it was the Apaches.” He explained how he removed the racial aspect of the Apache metaphor by using the Reavers. “I used that example by saying that anyone who goes out into space and goes mad can become a monster.” He also commented on the use of a strict western and horror vernacular to create his story. (x)

I’m not sure how exactly he thinks he “removed the racial aspect” by substituting mindless monsters for Native Americans, but  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Joss Whedon, guys.

This one time my girlfriend and I got really horny in a movie theater parking lot so we went to the back of the car and people passed by like nothing but I could feel the car moving so much. She didn't want to stop and didn't care if they say. So we went in the movies and she got horny again we went into a family restroom and went at it for like an hour. After that we went to some arcade in the mall and fucked twice in a photo booth. Honestly I don't know how i kept going.
