My Girl

Request: Okay, so this is Sirius x Reader where you like him and he likes you but neither of you know that and you ask the Marauders and Lily and Marlene if they wanna go to Hogsmeade or whatever the next day but they are all busy except Sirius. So you guys go and you get cold so he gives you his hoodie and you forget to return it or don’t want to because it smells like him and when you do at the end of the day he gets really happy because it smells like you and he wears it. Basically just fluff thanks.

Word Count: About 2,800.

Warning(s): Sexual tension, slightly suggestive comments, Sirius being hot as hell, kissing and stuff.

Note: In summary, this is a Sirius x Reader work about a cold night at Hogsmeade. Also, I deviated a bit from the request. Just a bit.

“We’re all still on for tonight, right?”

“Yeah.” Lily nodded, shrugging on a warm jacket as she headed out the door. “Marlene said to meet them in the common room before we go.”

As you made your way down the staircase next to Lily, you spotted James, Peter, and Marlene lounging on a sofa near the fireplace. Huddled together, the trio seemed to be in a heated conversation.

Nearing them, you heard their hushed whispers.

“Hogsmeade–”

“Just make up some excuse to–”

Once Peter spotted you approaching, however, he nudged the other two into silence.

“Y/N! Lily!” exclaimed Marlene, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear nervously. “Just the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

With a quirked eyebrow, you took a seat on the arm of the couch. When they smiled innocently at you, you shook your head with a small laugh, looking around the room. You thought it might be best to ignore their impish antics. Around you, the Gryffindor common room was bustling with life and chatter. But amidst it all, you couldn’t spot Sirius.

Not that you were waiting for him, of course. He just happened to cross your mind as you looked around.

“He’s almost ready,” said James, a cheeky grin playing on his face.

“Ah shit, Y/N,” Jess Davis groans as she wiggles into the tight row of cushioned chairs, trying to make her way to the middle of the line next to you. You giggle as the popcorn spills all around her clenched hand and into the laps of everyone nearby. There are whimpers of “Sorry, sorry!” and grunts before she finally lands into the cushioned chair next to you and sighs. “Ah Jesus, I didn’t know that would be so hard.”

"Maybe you should lay off the gummy worms,” You put in, and laugh as she glares at you and hits your arm. Your hand digs in the popcorn and you stuff a handful into your mouth, the satisfying crunch as you chew making you moan. Ah, popcorn. Jess rips open a pack of the gummies and snorts at you. “Maybe save those noises for Dempsey, hon.”

You choke on a kernel as she purses her lips trying not to laugh, her eyes steadying on the previews onscreen. A few snickers make it out either way, and you scowl at her and stuff more handfuls in your mouth.

Zach Dempsey and you, to put it lightly, were not friends. It was difficult to push you into a room together and not expect a night of sour jabs and endless bickering. Everyone at school knew it, and it was something that happened way before you were even freshmen. There was never a time you weren’t at each other’s throats. One time, he’d spilled liquor down the front of your dress at some party and you’d hidden his pants in a bush while he was in the hot tub later that night. Lately it’d been more of a joke between your friends, with Jessica mockingly swooning how romantic you two would be.

The lights start to dim and you wiggle back into your seat, ready for some good old romcom- and then the Paramount clip cuts into black for a moment, making you groan and try to dodge whoever was blocking your view. You crane your entire body and glare daggers at the idiot who interrupted your film before it even started. You loved your movies, and you were pretty serious about getting the “full movie theatre experience” (which Jess liked to mock). Please, you were paying a good four dollars for a movie you could watch for free online. Your eyes rise up to the back of his head, taking in a mess of straight black hair, broad shoulders and the school’s infamous Letterman jacket hanging on them. You memorized the back of that head. You knew those shoulders.

It was Zach Dempsey. With him were Jason Friar and Justin Foley, all wearing their Lettermans. You felt Jess shift in her seat at the sight of them. Wrapped in Zach’s arm was a smaller girl, snuggled into his shirt and playing with his fingers around her neck. They scooched into the seats almost directly in front of you, with the girl turning her head suddenly and getting the tips of her ponytail in Zach’s mouth. He swats it away, annoyed, but smiles instantly when she turns her head to look at him.

“Oh no,” You moan, making Jess snicker at you. You don’t miss the way her eyes flicker to Foley and turn away. “Just what I needed.”

"Who’s the girl?” Jess wonders, squinting. “Not a cheerleader. That’s Jenny, I think. Or her friend Bryana. I can’t be sure. We have Com with them.”

"Ugh, who cares,” You roll your eyes and try to turn to the movie. As long as they don’t ruin your film. This was some good stuff showing- if you focused enough, maybe you could ignore them. Jess shrugs and follows suit. You take a sip of your cherry cola as Martin Freeman jogs up into the scene.

The movie drifts by, but you find that you don’t enjoy it as much as you would have. Your eyes keep landing on the back of Dempsey’s head- and as much as you hated it, his arm around the girl’s. Your popcorn started tasting sour. You focus on some surfer guy’s abs an hour in but your mind keeps drifting somewhere else. Suddenly, before you can even blink, Zach cranes his neck slowly and looks directly at you, as if he knew you were there the entire time. He catches you looking and his cheeks tinge pink as he whips back around. Jess snickers. “That’s like, the fourth time he’s done that.”

"What?” You blink. Wouldn’t you have noticed? Jess takes a slurp of her drink. “Yeah, didn’t you notice? I mean, he’s had like two bathroom breaks. Both times he’d looked right at you before he took his seat.”

You decide not to say anything and reach out for a gummy worm. You keep watch, but Zach never craned his head again.

The movie ends before you know it, and Jess is a mess. You can’t stop laughing at her state, and after a while she laughs with you and dabs at her tears with paper napkins, but her mascara’s everywhere. “Shit, Y/N, why aren’t you crying with me?” She scowls, and starts hicupping. You try to hide your smile. You find it best not to tell her that you were staring at other things than the movie.

The lights flick back on and the people file out. You grab your empty popcorn buckets and leave, but not before Jess excuses herself to the comfort room to freshen up. You drop the buckets in the trash can near the snacks counter in the lobby and wait for her, waving a hand at Hannah Baker, who was filling up drinks at the soda fountain. Your hand travels to your back pocket and realize your phone is missing, so you run back into the cinema’s swinging doors hoping not to find it lodged in between seats with a wad of chewed up gum.

You find something even more tramautizing. Sitting on Zach Dempsey’s lap was his date, clutching his face with her pale hands and making out with him. He’s fidgeting in his seat, but trying to keep still. You note that his hands are on the cup holders and not on her waist. Your face screws up and you groan in disgust, picking your phone up from floor. “Christ, Dempsey, get a room.”

Zach’s eyes widen and he scrambles up, pushing the girl out of his lap. “Yeah? Well, this was an empty room ‘til you showed up, Y/N.”

You snort, tucking your phone into your back pocket. “You’re a pig, Dempsey.” There are mumbles of "Ooh”’s from Foley as you stalk back to the entrance, where Jess was waiting for you, ready for some milkshakes at Rosie’s. You loop your arm in hers, failing to hear the “Shit, man,” and swears from inside the theatre.

-

You head into school next Monday with a great start, munching on your bagel as you make it to your locker. You’re wearing an oversized hoodie and high waisted jeans, but it doesn’t stop the jocks from whistling when you pass by. You roll your eyes at them and chew on your bagel as you turn the corner. High school boys were too immature. No wonder you never found the want to date one.

Passing by you in the hallway was Zach Dempsey, crowded with his band of loud friends who are laughing and pushing each other. You meet his eye and he stops, slinging his backpack over his shoulder. You roll your eyes and look away, and you can almost hear him sigh in defeat. Someone slaps him on the shoulder and whistles as you walk by. “Daaamn, Dempsey, you gotta let us share.” You don’t see him shove the guy and stalk off.

The first half of the day passes by like a breeze. By the time fourth period ends, you barely feel like the day has started. You head out for the cafeteria, stacking all your books in your arms and making it through the door, but it wasn’t long before you could hear footsteps running after you. “Hey, wait up, Y/N!”

You turn around and groan, continuing to walk. “Dempsey.” You try not to glance as he jogs up next to you and ruffles his hair, staring at you with this half grin of his you didn’t want to admit you liked.

“Uh, hey.” “Something you need?”

“No, uh, actually, I wanted to talk to you.” He looks at you sheepishly.

“Okay, talk.”

“Um, you look nice today,” He offers, biting his cheek. You stop, staring at him in disgust. “What?” He trails. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding with me.” You shake your head in disbelief and keep walking.

“What’s wrong?” He keeps up. “Seriously, Dempsey, are you hitting on me now?” “And why would that be so terrible?”

“Geez, Dempsey, what is wrong with you?” You deadpan. “You are such an ass, you know that? Do you always treat girls like shit?” You gape at his blank face. “Jenny. From last Saturday. You think it’s OK to throw girls around like that?”

“What? No! I- uh, Jenny and I aren’t serious, if that’s what you’re thinking.” He winces, scratching his neck.

“Yeah, right. Of course not.”

“Look, can I take you out this weekend? To Rosie’s maybe? I’ve wanted to maybe get to be with you out of school. We could go to the movies?” You’re at the cafeteria doors now, but Zach shuts them with his left arm, blocking the way in front of you. You snort. “You can’t be serious.” You watch as his face falls and his mouth twitches.

“What’s so bad about going out with me?”

“God, you are such a jerk, Zach!” You groan, throwing your free hand in exasperation. He winces at the sound of his name being used so hatefully- he’s only ever heard you say Dempsey. He tries to forget about all the times he’s dreamed of his name coming out of your mouth, but decides he hates it when you yell it at him. “You think it’s fun, don’t you? Having no respect for girls whatsoever. You get off buttering them up with kisses and flowers and take them to the movies only to ignore them completely a day or two later. Who, in their right mind, would ever want to go out with someone like you?”

“I only ever wanted to go to that fucking movie theatre because I heard you were going to be there!” His voice rises to a shout. It echoed through the halls, and you wince knowing someone would hear. “You think I wanted to watch that stupid chick flick, with all that shit about high heels and prom? Fuck, I never even liked Jen! Why would I when I’ve always wanted someone else?”

His breath was heavy. Suddenly it was hard to swallow. You try to stand your ground, staring at him. “Nice one. You think it’d be easy for me to believe that, what with your list of conquests and a new girl making out on your desk each week? You must be daft, Zach Dempsey.”

He scowls. “I never wanted them. Never. I just- I just thought that maybe if you saw that everyone wanted me, just maybe you would have wanted me too.” His face softens, and he starts fiddling with his fingers. “Okay, I get it. You could never want me. I know, I just thought I could change that somehow. I’m used to getting my way, you know. Girls flock me, throw themselves at me. I’m used to getting everything I want, but then you’re here, in front of me, and fuck, I’ve never wanted to kiss anything more in my life.”

“Okay,” You say softly, before you can stop yourself. He barely hears it, but his ears perk up. “What’d you say?”

“I said okay,” You clear your throat, and bite your lip to keep yourself from smiling as his lips form into a helpless grin. “Saturday night, Rosie’s?”
“Fuck yes!” He fistbumps the air, then stops as soon as he realises you’re still in front of him. You giggle and hide your face in your hands as he leans forward without thinking, grabbing you by the waist and lifting you in the air. You couldn’t help your cheeks from turning red. Zach Dempsey was adorable. He really was.

“Okay, I’ll see you in Trig?” He asks, palming his phone in his front pocket. He’d have to tell Foley, he was thinking. Man, his best friend would be so proud. His head was rushing when he swooped in and pressed his lips to your flushed cheek. “I can’t wait.”

Five Times Tony Stark Was a Good Dad (And One Time He Wasn’t)

So, I’m obsessed with the whole idea that Peter is Tony’s unofficial son and it’s only supported by Tony’s appearance in Spider-Man Homecoming, so I came up with this series, which is in the works and also posted on my AO3 account. If you like it or have any suggestions as to where I should take this, please don’t hesitate to let me know! Also, forgive any spelling errors or mistakes, I finished this at three in the morning one night and I was too lazy to go back and fix them. Enjoy!

Tony swore when he was twelve years old that he would never be a father. He remembered that moment clearly, like it had just happened a day ago, not well over thirty years ago. He was in his room, his father still screaming in a drunken rage at his mother over something Tony did, his anger and disappointment following Tony down the hallway of their New York penthouse apartment. He remembered sitting on the cold tile floor of his room, head rest against the heavy wooden door that was doing nothing to muffle his father’s harsh words.

His father was angry, Tony had gotten kicked out of his third private school on the East Coast, the letter expulsion still clutched in his father’s harsh grasp. He wasn’t sure if he had ever seen his father this furious before and Tony knew that the only thing that saved him from taking a glass full of scotch to the face was his mother’s presence in the room. Maria Stark might’ve been docile about a lot of things, but Howard taking his rage out on Tony physically, that would never fly in this house hold.

Tears of anger and embarrassment welled in Tony’s eyes and he wiped them away furiously, refusing to waste anymore energy on that man that he was forced to acknowledge as his father. No matter what Tony did, it was never enough to please Howard Stark. He made his first prototype of an arch reactor at the age of six, Howard wanted it by age five. Tony skipped three grades, Howard wanted him to skip four. Tony, despite his age, was offered a spot at MIT and if Howard had it his way? He would’ve been there a year ago. No matter how much Tony achieved, how many goals he surpassed, he always came up short in Howard’s eyes. Being the constant source of Howard’s disappointment and ire made Tony wonder if he would ever succeed in his father’s eyes, if his dad would ever clap him on the back and say “I’m proud of you, son.”

He wondered, some nights, when he’d lie awake in his too big bed in his too big room in his too big house, if his father had ever wanted children, had wanted Tony.

The thought crossed his mid countless of times, until it latched onto his cerebral cortex and sat there, like the worst form of cancer that had no possible cure.

And while Tony sat there, head resting tiredly against the warm wood, Howard’s voice still echoing down the long hallway, that cancer spread until it proved fatal.

He never wanted his children to feel like this.

Unwanted

Worthless

A complete and utter failure.

Tony was self-aware enough to know that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree, that human nature was a pattern and patterns were destined to repeat themselves, without fail. Anger and rage and disappointment were the only form of affection Tony was used to getting to his father. His father was a cold man, always keeping Tony at a distance that no matter how hard he tried, Tony could never quite breach.

And Tony knew, no matter how hard he tried, he would always end up like his father.

Peter Parker came into his life unexpectedly and despite popular opinion, unplanned. He’d been keep tabs on the Spider-Kid since the kid popped up on his radar a few months ago, clad in that god awful homemade leotard/hoodie contraption and flying around Queens on his webs with all the grace of a child learning to walk for the first time. Tony never planned to actually meet the kid behind the mask or reaching out to the flying kid in his homemade costume, but when the Avengers disbanded and the only family Tony had ever known was decreasing in numbers, he needed back up.

Looking back, his intentions were purely selfish and it shamed him to admit, when he dropped the kid back off in his sketchy neighborhood in Queens with the new suit he’d made him, he never had any intention of keeping in contact with the kid.

To absolve himself from the guilt, he appointed Happy as his chaperone and threw himself into creating new legs for Rhodey, another way to attempting to soothe ache of guilt that had settled along with the shrapnel, in his battered heart.

He underestimated Peter, who was pushy and persistent and finally, after three months, Happy threw his phone at Tony and told him to call the kid. That night, Tony, with a glass of scotch in hand, filtered through the hundreds of voicemails Peter had left Happy—anecdotes of his daily patrols, everything from helping old ladies cross the street, stopping bike thieves to getting cats out of trees. Each story was told with excruciating detail, in that excited ramble the kid got whenever he was particularly enthused about something and warmth settled around Tony’s heart, fond amusement making his lips curl into his first genuine smile in months.

It took Tony another week to reach out to the kid, but he did and that’s how he found himself, in one of his more flashier cars, sitting outside of Peter’s school. He ignored the gawking, the stunned stares and the whispers of the students filtering out of the school, his eyes scanning the crowd before they landed on a familiar head of messy hair.

Peter was talking excitedly to the chubby, dark haired Asian kid by his side, who was nodding along to everything Peter said with a look of pure wonder on his face and Tony wondered briefly if his little friend knew that his BFF moonlighted as a super-hero in spandex at night.

Another kid appeared by Peter’s side and Tony watched as Peter visibly tensed and tried to skirt around the kid, but the kid threw a hand out and stopped Peter in his tracks.

The cocky grin that appeared on the kid’s face was all too familiar to Tony and before he could even second guess himself, he was out of his car and walking towards the three boys, ignoring the murmurs coming from the crowd.

“—when are you gonna stop lying about your internship with Tony Stark, Penis Parker? There’s no way someone like Tony Stark would ever take on a charity case like you—“

Peter looked up when he heard the murmuring crowd fall to a hush and his gaze landed on Tony. The amount of surprise in the kid’s features made Tony’s gut clench that in no way had to do with the greasy cheeseburger he ate on the way over here.

“M-Mr. Stark, what, uh, what are you doing here?” Peter stammered, flicking his gaze back to would be bully in front of him.

“Yeah, Parker, like I’m gonna fall for that—

“Is there a problem here, gentlemen?” Tony interrupted, smirking in satisfaction when the kid that was giving Peter a hard time, froze, turning his disbelieving eyes on to Tony.

“Y-You-You’re Tony Stark.” He said faintly, his voice shaking.

Tony smirked, “Astute observation and you are?”

The kid gulped, his adams apple bobbing harshly, “F-Flash Thompson.”

“Makes sense,” Tony said with a nod of his head, looking the kid up and down, “I’d bully someone too, if my parents named me after the lamest superhero to ever grace the pages of a comic book, overcompensation and all that,” Tony said thoughtfully, “especially with your perceived fixation on the male genitalia. Tell me, did it take you a while to come up with something that juvenile or did you have someone equally as childish think it up for you? Because I would think someone with—and I’m assuming here, so correct me if my deductive reasoning skills are off—a high level of intelligence would come up with something a little bit more creative than ‘Penis Parker’.”

By the time Tony was done, the crowd around him was snickering and the kid in front of him looked like he wanted nothing more than the ground to open up and swallow him whole, if such things were possible.

Tony smiled, but there was nothing nice about, “Now, if I ever catch wind of you so much as looking in Peter’s direction again and trust me, kid, I’ve got my ways, I have no issue siccing my AI on all your school records and wreaking havoc on your future plans for any Ivy League schools, you reading me kid?”

Flash nodded so vigorously he resembled a bobble head, “Y-Yes, Sir.”

Tony smiled, this one much more kind than the last, “Good, I’m glad we could reach an understanding, now running along so I can talk to my intern here without your sorry excuse for cologne clouding my senses, seriously kid less is more.”

Flash tucked his proverbial tail between his legs and pushed through the crowd of people that were now openly laughing, losing interest in Tony in favor of chasing after Flash to mock him.

Tony shouldn’t feel as proud as he did, but he knew what it was like to be bullied and he’d be damned if his kid—ahem, someone like Peter had to deal with someone as childish as Flash Thompson every day and it was within his power to do something about it. Like kid didn’t already have enough to deal with as it was.

He turned back to see a dumbfounded Peter and his equally as flabbergasted friend.

“That was—” Peter began, but seemed to be at a loss for words, shaking his head in disbelief.

His friend, however, didn’t seem to have that particular problem.

“—AWESOME!” His friend said excitedly, “oh man did you see Flash’s face? Dude, this is greatest thing to ever happen to me. Tony Stark just verbally assaulted Flash, Jesus dude, how is this your life? If you ever want to trade, even if it’s just for a day, I’m totally down—“

Ned.” Peter muttered, elbowing him roughly, giving a rough jerk of his head in Tony’s direction. He flicked his apologetic gaze over to Tony, who simply rolled his eyes, but he couldn’t deny the amused smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Ned followed his gaze and flushed, “Right, sorry.”

Peter closed his eyes for a moment and Tony could see the kid physically trying to fight off his embarrassment and couldn’t help but chuckle.

Peter’s eyes snapped open at the sound and the surprise and confusion from earlier was back, “Mr. Stark, what are you doing here? At my school? Is everything okay? Is there a—“ Peter glanced around in a sad attempt at nonchalance and lowered his voice to an equally as sad attempt at a whisper, “—mission?” he asked, wiggling his eyebrows in a manner that was making Tony wonder if the kid had a weird twitch he’d never noticed before.

Tony glanced over at Ned quickly, going back to his original curiosity of how much the kid actually knew about his arachnid friend here, but Ned seemed to catch on to Tony’s unasked question.

“Don’t worry Mr. Stark, sir, I’m Peter’s Guy In The Chair.” Ned answered helpfully, giving him a bright smile.

Tony glanced back over at Peter with a raised eyebrow, who simply muttered “dude” in an exasperated tone, shaking his head before returning his attention to Tony, “Ned knows.”

“Oh, well, in that case, no, there is no…mission,” Tony said in a mock whisper, making Peter flush, “I’m working on a new Iron Man suit and I need to pick your brain for some ideas on upgrades, figured I’d swing by and pick you up from school today.”

Peter’s eyes widened and Ned seemed torn between fainting or peeing himself from excitement.

“You get to touch the Iron Man suit?!” He squeaked, turning his wide-eyed gaze over to Peter, who only gave Ned a look, who bit his lip sheepishly, but looked like he was ready to explode from the level of his enthusiasm.

Peter ignored him, “I was supposed to help Ned finish the lego Death Star today, we were supposed to do it yesterday, but I uh, kinda got caught up on patrol.” Peter gave Tony a guilty shrug of his shoulders.

“So let me get this straight,” Tony said slowly, “you’re turning down quality time in my personal lab to build a lego Death Star with Ned over here?”

Peter’s eyes had lit up at the mentions of Tony’s lab, but with quick glance at a wide eyed Ned, who seemed to be stuck on the fact that Tony Stark said his name, his excitement dimmed. But Peter was loyal, almost to a fault, and nodded resolutely.

Tony, seemingly at a loss for words, just stood there, shellshocked at being told no, by a fifteen year old kid at that. A small part of Tony, the one that was actually looking forward to hanging out with the kid, was slightly hurt at the rejection.

Ned, who’d been watching the entire scene with wide eyes, was more observant than he looked and seemed to sense Peter’s indecision and Tony’s disappointment, because he gave his friend a bright smile, “Dude, we can finish the Death Star anytime and besides, my mom wanted me home tonight to help her with something, so I’m booked, raincheck?” He offered.

Peter glanced at Ned then at Tony and then back to Ned, “Um, sure Ned, no problem.”

Ned gave him a smile and then turning his attention back to Tony, his friendly smiled turned a bit more to the manic grin that most people wore in Tony’s presence, “It was really nice to meet you Mr. Stark.”

He offered Peter a fist bump, who returned it, before he started walking down the side walk, towards, what Tony assumed, was home.

Turning his attention back to the kid, he gave him a smile, “Good good, now we should probably be on our way if we want to avoid traffic. Now, as far as suit upgrades go, I was thinking of up-ing the suit’s repulsers a bit—hey, kid, you coming?” Tony asked from his position on the driver’s side, raising an eyebrow at Peter, who was still standing on the side walk. Tony followed his gaze and saw Ned still making his way down the sidewalk and chancing a glance back at Peter, who was still watching him with big, guilty eyes, he sighed.

The things I do for you, kid, Tony thought to himself.

“Hey, Ned,” Tony shouted, making the kid pause and turn around, looking to Peter, who was watching Tony with the beginnings of a smile, then back to Tony curiously, “would you like to join us? There’s plenty of room in the lab for three people.”

Even from a few yards away, Tony could see the kid’s eyes widen in surprise before he hustled his way back to an equally excited Peter, who shot him a grateful look.

“Thank you, Mr. Stark.” He said quietly, giving him a bright smile.

And Tony couldn’t help but smile back, “You’re welcome, kiddo,” eyeing a panting Ned warily, “make sure he doesn’t do anything…weird, okay? I don’t mind opening my lab to him but there was something in his eyes when I was talking about the Iron Man suit that made me decidedly uncomfortable.”

Peter gave a breathy laugh, “Don’t worry, Mr. Stark, Ned’s cool.”

Ned, who had come to a slightly sweaty stop in from them, looked up at Tony with wide eyes, “Can I try on the Iron Man helmet?”

“Dude.”

~~~~~~~~~
Tony spent the majority of their time in lab just watching Peter and Ned run around like kids in a candy store—picking things up, playing with the robots—DUM-E taking a special liking to Peter, who, Tony was pleased to see, treated him like a human, thanking him when he brought them water from the stocked fridge and smiling when DUM-E beeped happily in return—and played with all the gadgets laying around.
Tony, albeit wearily, let them try on one of the Iron Man helmets from one of his earlier models and explained to them how the suit worked, both of them hanging on to his every word. He showed them the blue prints for his newest model, listening to their suggestions and even writing a few them down to look into later.
Ned, Tony found out, was rather intelligent with computers. He gave him one of his old security systems and watched with genuine interest as the kid hacked into the the files with ease and recoded the entire system in a matter of minutes.
When Tony looked it over, he let out a grunt of an approval, “Nice work, kid.”
Ned all but fainted at Tony’s praise.
The hours slipped by and F.R.I.D.A.Y. being the helpful AI that she is, had ordered pizzas without Tony even having to ask and had them sent to the kitchen, alerting them when they had arrived. Tony led them up to the kitchen, watching with thinly veiled amusement as they both took in every new surrounding with the same amount of interest they had shown in the lab.
Tony continued to observe them as they tore into the pizza like they hadn’t eaten in days and taking a quick glance at the clock, he realized with a flash of guilt, that they had been down in the lab for over four hours and the last time they had probably eaten something would’ve been well over seven or eight hours ago.
It was nice, Tony deiced, listening to their mindless chatter and what was especially nice, was seeing how at ease Peter was with his friend, looking like a true fifteen year old with his friend over to his house on a school night, like he didn’t have super powers, like he didn’t dress up in tight spandex and web his way through Queens and fight crime at night while trying to balance a normal life.
The thought nagged at Tony for the rest of dinner and as he rode silently with them in the backseat while Happy drove them all to Ned’s apartment first, who still looked like he couldn’t believe today was real, thanking Tony breathlessly for the best day of his life and telling Peter he’d see him tomorrow at school.
Peter watched his friend with a small, amused smile and when they got to Peter’s apartment building, Tony glanced over at the kid, the smile still had yet to leave his face.
“Alright kid, this is your stop,” Tony said, making a move to undo his seatbelt, but the kid’s hesitant voice made him pause.
“Mr. Stark?” Peter said softly, clearing his throat, “I uh, just wanted to thank you, you know for well, everything,” the kid breathed, smiling up at him so sincerely that it made Tony’s chest ache in the best sort of way, “today was amazing and I really appreciate you inviting Ned along with us, he really looks up to you, you know? And I haven’t really been able to spend much time with him since, y’know, the whole Spider-Man thing.”
The kid paused before continuing on in a softer voice, “And about Flash, I really, really don’t know how to thank you for that,” he rubbed the back of his neck, clearly embarrassed, “it’s kind of funny, in a way, I’m a sort of super-hero and I can’t even stand up to a bully—“
Tony’s heart squeezed painfully in his chest at the kid’s self-deprecation, “Look, kid, I’m no stranger to bullies,” he began, sighing heavily, “I had my fair share of them when I was in school and even in college. I learned that while you may no be able to physically fight someone, you can always fight them with words and sometimes, words can hurt more than your fists. All I did was give that Flash kid a taste of his own medicine and hopefully, got him off your case.”
Peter was silent for a moment, considering Tony’s words before giving him another appreciative smile, “I don’t think Flash will be messing with me anytime soon, but still, thank you,” Peter’s smile turned shy, “you’re the first adult, other than May, to stand up for me and I really appreciate it, so thank you, Mr. Stark.”
“Call me Tony,” Tony offered after a beat of silence, unsure of how to respond to such a statement.
Whatever he was trying to say, the kid got, because he smiled brightly and Tony, suddenly feeling awkward at the unusual sentimental moment, busied himself with unbuckling his seatbelt, ignoring the warmth in his chest.
He reached around the kid to open the door for him and Peter, rather than getting out, just like last time, he reached up and wrapped his arms around Tony, thinking he was hugging him
“This um, wasn’t a hug,” Tony began awkwardly, “I’m just getting the door for you.”
However, before the kid could pull away, Tony wrapped his arms around him and gave him a quick, but firm squeeze.
Peter gave him another smile before wishing Tony and Happy a goodnight,  getting out of the car and making his way up towards his apartment. Tony debated on his next move, mulling it over quickly and before the kid could get too far, he found himself making a snap decision and rolling down he window.
“Hey, Underoos,” Tony started, slightly unsure when the kid turned around and looked at Tony with hopeful eyes.
“Same time, same place tomorrow?” He said after a moment of silence, the kid’s answering grin melting away any self doubt before it could begin.
“Sure Mr.Stark—Tony,” Peter stuttered excitedly, “sounds great!”
Tony watched the kid go with a satisfied smiled, so caught up in his happy little pseudo-family moment that he almost didn’t hear his phone ring.
Not even bothering to glance at the caller I.D., he answered it with a smooth, “Stark.”
“Tony?! What the hell we’re you thinking going to a school and threatening a minor, A MINOR—“
Shit.
The day Dan opened his locker to a strange slip of paper folded into an origami star was one of the strangest moments of his life.
“What,” Dan said simply, giving the offending paper a strange look. He bent down and retrieved it, staring at it long and hard. It was thin, made with a flowery paper, and he could just make out words written in very small print on it. “What,” Dan said again.
With a small amount of struggle, Dan managed to unwrap the star, revealing the writing inside. The script was sloppy to the point where Dan thinks it was written with the wrong hand. Dan said “what” again and the word didn’t even sound like it was real anymore. It took him a few minutes to read what it said due to the scribble, but he eventually managed.
‘i used to stare out the window because i thought the scenery was beautiful. Then i saw you and suddenly the world didnt seem nearly as captivating as before.
“You coming Y/N?” One of your brothers yells at you.
Rolling your eyes, you say goodbye to your friends and turn around. Your third oldest brother smiled as you made your way over to him and the rest of your siblings.
“You guys are really impatient, you know that right?” You tease Emmett, softly slugging his arm. His wife, rather, one of your sisters, grabbed you by the hand and led you into the car.
“Carlisle wants to see us right away. Esme called us and said it was an emergency.”
Your eyebrows immediately scrunch together as you pile into the family’s car. Alice starts up the vehicle as the rest of you try not to worry about what your father wanted to talk to you guys about.
“It’s probably nothing,” Jasper tried to soothe you.
Your emotions were coming off strong as you tried suppressing your fear. He leaned across Emmett (Both of your sisters sat in the front as Rosalie called shotgun!) and took your hand in his.
Despite him having problems with blood and humans, your brother taught himself to familiarize your scent ever since you were a child. It didn’t affect him as bad as Bella did or the others did.
Seeing that you were still stressing out, Jasper began to manipulate your emotions until you felt calmer. Sending him a smile, you nod your head in thanks.
“Let’s see how much trouble we’re in now,” Emmett muttered as Alice pulled into the driveway of the house.
Just a Dream
So I have fallen completely in love with @thebbros and I encourage you all to check it out and give @blogthegreatrouge the creater of this AU some love! This has made me really excited to get back into writing, which more will be coming soon. Until then, thank you so much for your support, and I hope you enjoy. So without further ado, all aboard for another adventure! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Ozzy? Wake up honey, you don’t want to be late for your own show do you?”
The rabbit grumbled a bit before he opened his eyes, the sweet call of his wife enticing the sleep to part.
“Mmm…Ortensia?” Drowsiness coating his voice.
Wait a minute, Ortensia!?
He bolted upright, the covers flying in sudden shock. How? She was dead, he was there! His hands had been drenched in her blood, tears, and that sickly ink. What kind of a sick joke was this?!
A soft hand touched his cheek, making him look in that direction. She stared in his eyes, filled with loving concern.
“Ozzy? Are you alright? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
He could hardly speak. She was there, alive right in front of him. Was it all just a bad dream?
He couldn’t help himself, he pulled her tight against him, tears flowing down his furred cheeks. He wanted to take everything in. Her smell, her warmth, her soft fur. He would never let anything happen to her again.
“Oswald? Are you sure you’re ok?” She asked worriedly. She only ever used his birth name when she was worried or cross.
He pulled back, wiping his tears with a soft laugh.
“Heh, yeah. Just…*sniff*…just had a bad dream is all.“
She gently wiped the tears that stained his fur as he lovingly kissed her small, gentle, perfect hand.
“Did you want to talk about it?”
He kissed her lips, soft and slow, cherishing the moment.
“Nah, I’m ok now that you’re here. Besides, we’ve got a show to do!”
~~~~~~

The crowd cheered, the adrenaline rushing through his veins. Man was he excited for today’s act! He held out his hand to Ortensia, glittering in her pink assistant uniform.

“Well, it’s almost time. Ready to make magic and dreams come true Ortensia?”

With a soft purr, she reached out and held his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, smiling warmly.

“Always.”

With a final kiss, and a tremendous magical entrance, they smiled and waved, the cheers of the crowd raising their spirits.

Oswald looked around, it felt like it had been years since he felt this much excitement, this much joy. Everything was alright. He was living the dream.

He turned toward his wife, but for some reason she wasn’t where she was supposed to be. Everything suddenly felt cold.

“W-what?”

He frantically looked around. What happened to the crowd, the light? Ortensia? Everyone was gone and he was left alone in the dark.

“Ortensia! Where are you?” His heart beat frantically as he ran, his legs taking him anywhere and nowhere.

The sound of a spotlight turning on startled him. He turned slowly around, fearing what he might find.

“Ortensia!”

She lay there in the light, still, lifeless, her back facing him. Without hesitation, he ran towards her, tears welling up in his eyes. He carefully lifted her light body, turning her face towards him. His hands shook, eyes wide in disbelief.

“O-ozzy? Ozzy please…Help me…It hurts…” Her soft voice, barely a whisper cracked, the words choking amidst the ink. Her once beautiful eyes had now been ripped of color, blinded by the ink ravaging every inch of her midnight fur.

“H-how…?”

She seized up in his arms, the pain more intense than ever, her screams filling his ears.

Why? This wasn’t supposed to happen! What about their hopes? Their dreams!?

Her tears mixed with the ink, her screams of anguish bleeding out in an awful chorus. He held her tightly, his own screams joining in.

“ORTENSIA!!!”

~~~~~~~~~
He woke up with a start, the sheets crumpling under him. His tired eyes surveyed the empty room, cold and dull. His hand, fur rough and unkempt rubbed his once again emotionless face.
It was just a dream.
Stupid.
The door creaked open and brightly, but quietly hopped in one of his many beautiful children. They crept close to the bed, their large eyes filled with youth staring up at his withered eyes.
“Papa? Uncle Goofy and I want to know if you’d like to come with us to go shopping?”
He stared blankly, the fright from earlier long since gone. He reached down and lifted the child up, a quick hug, stiff but filled with a pained love. He nodded solemnly. The words mocked his mind as he walked out the room with his child.
It’s your fault the dream died.
His emotionless face showed nothing of the demons he fed, his hand loosely holding the tender paw. Today was just another day without her. Sure he loved his children dearly, but without her, how could he ever smile again? His baby brother, friends, his own kids always tried to cheer him up, to make him smile even a little. But for everyone, even himself, it would never be.
That would just be another hopeless dream.
Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five Part Six Part Seven Part Eight Part Ten
Peter had been ignoring you. You didn’t know what you did, or what reason he had, but he wouldn’t speak to you. He wouldn’t even look at you. It had been almost a week without your best friend by your side, and honestly? You hadn’t ever been so lonely.
You tried to speak to him multiple times throughout each day—in the hallways, in class, at lunch, but he would only look down at his feet and pretend you weren’t there. A sharp pain would resonate in your chest each time, missing your best friend.
And it was a bit of a hysterical situation to you, because you had just been thinking of telling him how you really felt about him. But maybe Ned was wrong, considering this was the treatment you were getting for no reason. Maybe Peter never liked you.
And that other world would never truly be this one.
But being fed up, and wanting to deny the thoughts in your head, you stormed your way to his apartment at a time you knew he would be home. You kept your eye out more carefully this time, nerves on edge this past week that you didn’t have Peter on the phone to calm you down. You rushed up all the stairs in his apartment building, majorly out of breath as you knocked harshly on his door.
“Coming!” You heard May yell, and you attempted to gain your breath back before she answered. The door swung open and you were greeted with the sight of Peter’s aunt wearing an apron with bits of flour sprinted on it. “Hey, (Y/N)!”
“Hi, May,” you smiled back, and you felt bad when you saw her outfit. “Oh, sorry, am I interrupting you?”
“No, not at all!” She exclaimed and opened the door wider for you to come in.
“Is Peter here?” You asked as you walked through the door, and you found yourself looking around at the apartment for him.
“No, he isn’t,” May said slowly, and you knew she noticed your shoulders sag as soon as she spoke. “Is everything alright between you two?” She asked as she closed the door behind her, and she motioned for you to sit at the kitchen table with her.
You sighed as the both of you sat down across from each other, your shoulders slouching even more. “I don’t even know.”
She waited patiently for you to finish. “He just- he won’t talk to me. And I don’t know what I did. He pretends like I don’t even exist. I just- I need to know.”
You looked down at the kitchen table, fiddling with your fingers. You knew it was odd to be saying this to Peter’s aunt, of all people, but you had always been close with May.
After a few moments of silence, you looked up from the table to see May staring at you inquisitively. “You like him, don’t you?” She finally said, and your eyes fell back to the table.
You let out a self-deprecating laugh, not even bothering to deny it anymore. “Is it that obvious?” You asked. You could feel your cheeks growing redder.
“Not to him, I’m sure,” she laughed lightly, and you could feel her eyes still on you. “My nephew is an oblivious one when it comes to that stuff.”
You gave a small laugh in response, but said no words other than, “Do you know why he’s ignoring me?”
You looked up to see her shake her head, and you frowned. “No, I don’t. But I’m sure it has something to do with his feelings for you.”
You immediately perked up at her words, shoulders now stood stiffly straight. “Feelings for me?”
“Come on, honey. You’re telling me you haven’t noticed the way Peter looks at you?” May said, and you stared at her blankly in response.
It couldn’t be.
“He’s completely smitten for you. And you should tell him you feel the same.”
“But he’s ignoring m-”
“Probably because he thinks you don’t like him back!” You could see her getting excited, and you felt the feeling stir up inside of you as well. “Tell him, (Y/N),” she said, resting her hand over yours. “It’ll be worth the risk.”
You nodded, a small smile forming on your face. “Thank you, May.”
You decided to wait until the next day at school to talk to him. You were determined to tell him, to track him down and make him talk to you. To make him look at you.
You had to wait until the lunch bell rang to go search for him since the two of you didn’t share any classes together in the morning, and when it rang, you sprinted out of the classroom and towards the gym where you knew Peter had class.
Before you arrived there, practically running through the halls with hundreds of other kids in the hallway with you, another bell rang. You almost didn’t flinch, and neither did anyone else, thinking it was the second lunch bell.
But then it became louder and harsher, and you realized it wasn’t a bell—it was an alarm.
You’ve got to be fucking kidding me, you thought.
You crashed through the gym doors, seeing nothing but an empty gym. You needed to hurry. You needed to find him. The halls were now chaos, everyone panicking as the realization an alarm was going off set in.
“This is a lockdown. I repeat, this is a lockdown. Everyone please make their way to the nearest classroom immediately. We are not in immediate threat, but there is an Avengers crisis just miles from our school. I repeat, this is a lockdown.”
Everyone continued to panic, scrambling for the classroom doors.
You, on the other hand, frantically looked around for Peter. He had to be around here somewhere. You tried to think. If it was an Avengers matter, then he would most definitely be called by Mr. Stark to help. All you had to hear was the signal he had showed you whenever he would need him. You listened and listened, but nothing could be heard over the blaring alarm and the screams of worried teenagers.
The hallways were quickly clearing as students ran into classrooms, but they still seemed crowded. It was now that you felt the panic set in yourself. You needed to tell him. You needed to find him. If he was about to go risk his life for something big enough that the Avengers needed him, then you needed to find him.
You would’t let him risk his life after not speaking to him for a week, without you even knowing why.
You looked around frantically, ignoring the shoves and yells of everyone at you being in their way. You looked in every direction, strained to hear the signal his watch would give off. And then you saw him.
He was running toward the back doors of the school, his backpack hanging loosely off his shoulder and his sweatshirt already beginning to be yanked off. You didn’t hesitate before racing after him.
You thought you could hear a few teachers screaming at the two of you to turn around, but you didn’t listen. And, of course, neither did Peter. He crashed through the doors, and you were a few seconds behind him. He made his way to the back alley behind the school. You followed him there, too.
He finally stopped, dropping his backpack to the ground and pulling his sweatshirt over his head. His shoes somehow made their way off of his feet, and his pants were pulled down. You didn’t look away, not caring.
“Peter!” You yelled, finally stopping and trying to catch your breath. “What do you think you’re doing?”
He didn’t answer, now shoving his legs into his Spiderman suit that he grabbed from his backpack. It was now up to his chest when you yelled again, walking closer to him.
“What do you think you’re do-”
“Go away, (Y/N)! Go find Ned to protect you instead,” he yelled in return, the whole suit now on except for his mask. You thought you saw a hint of jealousy on his face before the mask covered it.
“What are you talking about?” You asked, confused. You saw him begin to turn around, but you yelled to stop him. “Don’t you dare go anywhere!”
“I need to go help-”
“You need to explain yourself first!” You screamed louder than you ever have, angry that he was brushing you off so blatantly. “What are you talking about? What about Ned?”
“You obviously like him, (Y/N)!” Peter was screaming now, too, and although you couldn’t see through his mask, you were sure his expression was angry.
“What?!”
“I saw you guys walk out of that supply closet together! Go ahead, go date him for all I care! I’ll stay out of your way,” he went to turn around again, but you leapt forward and grabbed his shoulder. You turned him around, staring at him.
“I don’t like Ned, you dumbass!” You yelled, throwing your arms out in exasperation.
“Yeah, okay, sure-”
“Stop!” You pointed at his face. “Take that mask off.”
“No, I’m leaving,” you yanked him forward when he went to turn another time. The two of you seemed to be getting closer and closer to each other.
“Take. Off. The mask.”
You let go of his arm so he could slip it from his face. His eyebrows were furrowed, and it was no surprise to see. You saw a small yellowing bruise on his jawline, and you grew angrier, knowing he could have come to you with his injuries if he weren’t being so petty.
“Why have you been ignoring me?” You asked, and in seconds a loud explosion sounded from far away. You could see that Peter itched to swing away, to swing closer towards where the damage was happening. But you wouldn’t let him.
“Just answer the question, Peter!”
“Because I love you!” He shouted, silencing you and your yells. The stunned expression on his face told you that he wasn’t planning on speaking those words aloud.
And you weren’t expecting him to either. All argumentative words you were about to say left your mind, and the only thing that had been stuck there for what felt like forever could finally be released.
“I love you, Peter,” you said it softly, but the meaning was the loudest it could have ever been.
His eyebrows were still furrowed, but you saw a smile twitch at the end of his lips. “You? You love me?”
The disbelief in his voice made a smile bloom on your face, and a small laugh left your mouth. “Yes, Peter. I love you. Not Ned, not anyone else. I love you.”
It was his turn to laugh, his eyebrows now high on his forehead as he suddenly wrapped his arms around your waist, lifting you up and spinning you around. He laughed in your ear, and it was the most beautiful sound you had ever heard. Well, second to the sound of him then murmuring ‘I love you’, quietly for only you to hear.
The two of you kept your arms wrapped tightly around each other as he set you down lightly, and you pulled back enough to be able to see the happiness in his eyes. You were sure he could see it in yours, too.
“I’ve got to go,” he whispered, and you nodded.
“Okay,” you whispered in return, but didn’t unwrap your arms from around his neck. He didn’t let go either.
“I really have to go,” he said, a small ounce of desperation in his voice. He didn’t want to let go, you knew that. You kept your arms around his neck but took a step back, now only holding them there loosely. He did the same.
“Okay,” you whispered, now scared to let go of him completely in fear something bad would happen to him. “Okay,” you whispered again. You wouldn’t let go. You didn’t think you could.
“I’ll be fine, (Y/N),” he said, giving you a small smile. But you could see the anxiety in his eyes, and you could feel the way his hands fidgeted around your waist.
“Yeah, you will,” you said, giving him a smile as well. “Just,” you were back to whispering now, and although you had taken a step back from him, you leaned your forehead against his. You saw him close his eyes just as you did. “Come back to me.”
He let out a shaky breath of air. “I will,” he said, and he leaned back again. “I promise.”
This time he completely let go of you as he opened his eyes, and you let go as you opened yours. He rested his hands on your face lightly, barely there, and he pressed a kiss to your forehead.
It was your turn to let out a shaky breath.
He took another step back, knowing the both of you would be tempted to reach out to each other again. He slipped his mask back over his face, and he aimed his arm upwards after doing so, shooting a web to the top of the school.
“I love you,” he said, although it was muffled through the mask. And then he shot upwards, and out of your vision.
“I love you,” you said in return, sniffling, but it was lost to the wind.
You stayed outside in the alleyway until you knew the lockdown would be over. You wanted to be outside to see if any of the damage from the city spread towards the school.
You waited for Peter there. He promised he would be back. You waited.
SHORT IMAGINE
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JUSTIN! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!”
The crowd surrounding the table the cake rest on began cheering as Justin leant over and blew the twenty three surrounding candles placed around the cake.
Once all 23 flames the candles held were blown and shifting into a small stream of smoke, Scooter approached the boy handing him a large silver knife. Justin smiled before cutting into the cake, right until the edge reached the bottom.
“You touched the bottom!” Jazzy yelled. “Now you gotta kiss a girl.”
Justin smiled, sliding the knife out of the cake and onto the platter beside it, before leaning over and placing his lips upon mine. With a smile on my face, holding back a laugh, the crowd of family and friends all cheered around us as Justin began to pull away.
His hand slivered over, taking mine in his as he tangled our fingers together before lifting it to his lips, placing a sweet kiss on my wedding ring.
“What did you wish for honey?” Pattie asked.
Justin smiled, his eyes wandering over to mine “I can’t tell you, or else it might not come true.”
“That’s just bulshit, c’mon tell us JB!” Khalil shouted from somewhere in the crowd. A few other comments where thrown around throughout Justin’s boys causing a small chuckle to escape his lips at the commotion.
“Aight, aight! I’ll tell you. I wished that we” He squeezed my hand “finally have a bit more luck, receive God’s blessing and get what we’ve wanted since the day we were married.”
Staring into Justin’s eyes, I could see a slight sparkle to them and I instantly knew my face was as red as tomato. “Thank’s baby boy.” I whispered, snuggling closer to his body. Looking over towards Pattie, I spotted her smiling at me, with a look of knowledge in her eyes.
“You guys are so cute it disgusts me.” Maejor sighed. “Time to open presents!”
The kids got up and squealed in excitment, running over towards the living room. The adults followed suit with smiles on there faces as Pattie, Diane and Chelsey stayed back to cut and hand out the cake.
My hand slithered out of Justin’s grasp, turning towards them to help before Pattie quickly darted over to my side, pushing me back into the living room. “Oh no you don’t! It’s your husband’s birthday and he’s about to open his presents, go sit with him.”
“Pattie that’s nice really, but I’m not gonna leave you three to do all the work, theres over 50 people here.”
“And we will handle it. You - just sit down.” With a nudge, I was in the living room walking over to Justin’s side. Justin peeked up, his face lifting up into a smile at sight of me. After placing myself on Justin’s lap, Jeremy was first to walk forward, handing Justin a small box wrapped in birthday paper.
“Thanks dad.” Justin smiled.
“Happy birthday son.”
After ripping the paper off, Justin was left staring at a box laced with velvet. Picking up the lid, he was met with a beautiful thin gold chain and a brand new guitar pick with the words ‘Music is love, but family is life’ engraved on it.
After thanking his father and opening a few more presents, it was only a matter of time before it was finally my turn. At this point every one had eaten there cake and was sitting in the living room, all ready to open the last present presented by me.
I stood off my husbands lap, walking over to the corner I had left the gift bag in. handing the white bag with the words ‘happy birthday’ written all over it to Justin, I watched as Justin smiled, placing a kiss to my lips.
“You didn’t need to buy me anything baby. Everything I want is right here.”
I smiled at his kind words before forcing him take the bag “Believe me, I think you’ll like it.”
After taking the beg from my hands, he slowly pulled the tissue I stuffed in at the top and tossed it into a ball on the floor beside him with the rest of the wrapping paper.
A confused look crossed his face as he peered inside, searching through a few of the items. Everyone else around us stood back and watched in anticipation and curiosity as to what was in the bag, all until Justin’s face went pale, everyone elses turned to confusion. All except mine.
“What is it?” I smiled.
“Yeah Justin what is it?” Za added. A few similar comments repeated around the room.
Justin didn’t bother looking up, instead just leant back and placed both hands over his face, the bag still in his lap. Tears brimmed in my eyes at his reaction, watching as his body jumped a few times from the sobs he let out.
“Justin baby what’s wrong?!” Pattie yelled in confusion and shock. She stood from her seat, prepared to run forward and comfort her son before I put a hand forward and smiled, mouthing ‘wait’.
Slowly she placed herself back on the seat and watched on, still looking slightly worried.
“What is it baby?” I smiled, a slight giggle escaping my lips.
He ignored my question, only leaning his elbow on his knee, with one hand over his eyes. “Are you serious?” He sobbed in disbelief.
“Yeah.” I cooed, allowing a tear to fall down my cheek.
Justin finally removed his hand from his face, wiping the discarded tears from his eyes before looking back into the bag and picking out two items from the very top. A bib and a pacifier.
Everyone around us gasped, all with smiles on there faces. “Your pregnant?!” Chelsey yelled with a smile.
Without responding, I leant back into my handbag beside me, pulling out the test I had taken two weeks prior. Giving everyone one glance at the stick, before handing it to Justin who had once again began crying.
“Happy birthday Baby…Or should I say daddy?” I chuckled.
“Guess you won’t be the only one calling him that anymore!” Za yelled. Everyone chuckled as Justin moved forward and engulfed me in his arms. A few seconds passed before his lips met mine once again and I noticed that as he did all this, his hands never left the spot which was beginning to swell with a beautiful and well earned baby.
MASTERLIST
The sky was cloudy but the air wasn’t too cold. Thousands of people were just hoping that it wouldn’t start raining. I was one of them. I stood there and hoped while my body was made of 60% pure adrenaline by now.
“I can’t wait for them to start!” I had to yell because the crowd of talking people was just so loud.
I smiled at Dan whole heartedly. The huge grin on my face was so big that my cheeks hurt.
“You are cute when you are that excited.” Dan laughed and took my hand in his.
His dimples were showing and just the sight of him made me feel like my heart was going to burst. Although Dan and Phil had stopped doing their radio shows they were still asked to do some interviews at Radio 1’s Big Weekend, an annual music festival.
Dan surprised me by inviting me to come with him. I obviously had to say yes, especially since my favourite band was performing. They were going to enter the stage soon and thousands of excited fans including me and Dan were impatiently waiting for them.
Although Dan was allowed to watch from back stage we decided to mix into the crowd because there was so much audience participation during the band’s concerts.
For a second the crowd grew all silent, then the first fans started screaming. Welcomed by loud cheers and squeals my favourite band ran onto stage. They immediately started with their first song. The air was filled with bursting energy and excitement. I hadn’t felt so alive in a long time.
I started singing my heart out to the songs I had listened to a million times before, but they sounded and felt so different live. When the whole crowd started chanting the chorus of my all time favourite song I jumped up and down, not being able to stop myself from moving and dancing.
“You are damn beautiful, Y/N!” I heard Dan shout into my ear.
I only now realized that he was watching me the whole time and blushed a little bit.
As one of the band’s slow songs sounded from the speakers Dan wrapped his arms around me from behind and we swayed to the music. His broad chest was pressed against my back and he rested his chin on top of my head, kissing my hair now and then.
After the ballade ended I got on my tip toes again in order to be able to watch my favourite band member’s every move.
“Do you know how lucky you are, Dan?” I asked him laughing, pointing out the height difference between us.
Dan was by far one of the tallest people in the crowd and I looked tiny next to him.
“You could sit on my shoulders.” Dan suggested with a wink.
“Dan, everyone behind us would hate us.” I laughed but had to admit that I kinda liked the idea.
“Enter the world of us giants. Just one song.” He pleaded with puppy dog eyes.
I had to admit it sounded tempting. Very tempting actually.
“Okay, but if people start shouting at us it’s all your fault!” I gave in and Dan didn’t really have much convincing to do.
He bent down so I could sit on his shoulders. After I had gotten on top of him I was able to overlook the whole crowd. His head was in between my thighs and I couldn’t stop myself from running my fingers through his soft chocolate brown hair. I crossed my legs behind Dan’s back and he held my thighs for extra stabilization.
Dan and I were enjoying ourselves and I was so happy to have an amazing boyfriend like him.
Just as the song ended and Dan was about to set me down, we were stopped by the band’s drummer and my favourite member.
“Listen everybody! Do you see this pretty girl who got on top of somebody’s shoulders? I want you all to do the same!” he shouted into his microphone and pointed right at me. The crowd started cheering and moving around.
Everybody who was here with somebody followed his instructions. I, on the other hand, had an immensely hard time processing the fact that my favourite band member had just called me pretty!
The heat rushed to my face and my hands started shaking. I felt like my 16-year-old fangirling self again.
“O my god he called me pretty!” I squealed once my feet touched the ground again.
“Because you are!” Dan said with twinkling eyes and made me smile even wider.
I pecked his lips quickly before I faced the stage again. Just as my eyes landed on the drummer again he took off his shirt, revealing his toned chest and perfectly defined abs. The whole female part of the crowd completely lost it. Never before had I heard such high-pitched screams.
A few teenage girls actually looked like they were about to faint. I had to stare at him in awe. I squealed along while he smashed his drums, sweat dripping down his forehead.
“Damn I forgot how hot he is.” I breathed in disbelief and was too busy to notice the look on Dan’s face as those words left my mouth.
I was still jumping up and down like a bouncy ball after the concert had ended. Dan was guiding me backstage with him because I was too busy talking about the concert to concentrate on where I was going.
“I can’t believe that just happened. Best concert ever!” I babbled ecstatically.
“Mhm” Dan mumbled quietly and I was again too excited to notice his resentment.
Back in the hotel we were staying in for the weekend I had calmed down a bit again. After changing out of my sweaty shirt and drinking what seemed like 4 bottles of water I was back to normal.
Since Dan and I were extremely exhausted we decided to go straight to bed. It was only Saturday so we still had the whole of Sunday ahead of us. When I was done with brushing my teeth and exited the bathroom I noticed that Dan was in bed already. I got under his duvet as well and was immediately greeted by his comforting body warmth.
I snuggled up next to him and rested my head on his chest.
“Thank you for taking me with you. I really enjoyed today.” I whispered softly and pecked his pink lips.
With a grin, I decided to deepen the kiss and quickly straddled my surprised boyfriend.
“I thought you said you were tired.” Dan asked raising a brow, teasingly.
“I am never too tired for this.” I breathed seductively.
As soon as those words had come over my lips Dan immediately flipped us over so he was on top. I ran my hands up and down his chest, taking his t-shirt off soon after. He connected our lips again, we didn’t start out slow, it was heated since minute one. The tiredness from before was gone as Dan moved his hips against mine. I couldn’t hold in a silent moan.
“Am I hurting you?” Dan asked suddenly sounding insecure.
I broke the kiss to look at him in confusion. Did he misinterpret my moan?
“Why would you be hurting me? We haven’t even.. you know.“ I asked him confused, looking up at him.
“I thought I crushed you under my weight..” Dan’s words were barely a whisper. He swallowed hard as has face turned the colour of a tomato.
My eyes widened in shock and disbelief.
“Daaann-“ I trailed, waiting for him to tell me he was joking, but he didn’t.
“What are you talking about, Dan?” I wanted to know, scared of his answer.
He got off me and let himself fall down on the bed next to me. I lifted myself up on my elbow to be able to look into his dark brown eyes.
“I- I’m just really heavy. I don’t wanna hurt you.” He explained and I could tell that he was uncomfortable.
“You are way over 6 feet, Dan. How are you supposed to not be heavy?” I argued.
“Yeah sure.” He mumbled unmotivated. My face fell, finally getting what he was implying.
“That’s not what you meant, right?” I breathed totally aghast.
“No.” He whispered and slowly shook his head.
“Why do you suddenly feel like that? You are so beautiful, baby.” I gently traced his biceps, taking in his beauty.
He seemed to quietly ponder for a while before he decided to voice his thoughts.
“I just, I don’t have abs or a toned chest and I’m not that fit and-“ he made himself stop in the middle of his sentence.
He grew all silent. His words brought tears to my eyes. Why didn’t he see how perfect he was?
“You are not saying this because I called that stupid drummer hot today, right?” I tried, but the look on his face at the mention of what I had said earlier totally gave him away.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t think it would make you feel that way. Listen I don’t care if he is hot or not. He will never be you and I love every tiny bit of your body and your soul.” I whispered softly, meaning every word I said.
I cupped Dan’s face with my hands and deeply looked into his eyes. “You are perfect the way you are and I love you more than anything.” I slowly said so he could take in every single word.
Dan blushed and I noticed that a small smile had found its way back onto his face.
“It’s not just about having a fit body, you know that. Now c’mon let me show you how beautiful you are.” I breathed and started leaving kisses all over his chest and neck, straddling him again.
You were at McDonald’s late at night with your friends, trying to ignore your constantly ringing phone that sat on the table before you.
“He’s an idiot.” Mark added, trying to make you laugh and forget Donghyuck’s teasing over your tattoo. Donghyuck hit his shoulder,  but didn’t disagree, which sent you into a fit of giggles.
“You should turn it off.” Jaehyun said from his place to your left, nodding his head toward the phone.
In which Sherlock comes back after pretending to be dead for two years, finds John moved out of Baker Street and nearly engaged. He’d deduced two possible reactions… but not this.
Of all the outcomes Sherlock had prepared himself for, this was not one of them. There had been two scenarios in his head, two ways John’s emotions could play out. Shock was, in both scenarios, naturally the primary stage. That is logically what happens when a previously thought dead person presents themselves. It was the stages that came after the shock is where it got tricky, given that Sherlock had to take into factor that they were surrounded by the public eye, in a very crowded, very upscale restaurant. It was where the road split. Road one: Shock would be followed by disbelieve, perhaps tears, but most likely not with John. No, it was more likely disbelief would lead to laughter, the slightly bitter kind that Sherlock could picture on John’s face, the kind that would melt into relief, maybe even a slightly uncharacteristic hug. It might be a briefer display of emotion due to the public eye but at least Sherlock would know it was alright now.
The second road was not preferred but it ended the same. On this path anger followed the shock, maybe John stormed out of the restaurant, maybe delivered Sherlock a rightly deserved punch… But they were together in the end. Sherlock was forgiven in the end.
He never thought, however, that the stage of anger would be so prolonged. He never imagined that John wouldn’t eventually get along to embracing his lost best friend. Sherlock never pictured John leaving him standing alone on the curb of a dumpy fish and chip place with a bloody nose.
Ms. Hudson, on the other hand, had had exactly the reaction Sherlock had predicted when he walked into 221B. She’d screamed, cried, screamed again when he placed a gentle hand on her arm, and proceeded to alternate between the two for the next hour. Sherlock could barely focus on her however, only being able to think about how, as she wrapped him in a very tight hug, he would do anything to have experienced this reaction twice that night.
“Oh Sherlock,” Ms. Hudson patted his cheek fondly, a smile brightening her face, “I take it you’ve seen John?”
Sherlock tense, “Yes. Yes, of course.”
She laughed delightedly, squeezing his hand before bustling into the kitchen, “I’ll get the kettle on for you two, then.”
Sherlock unknotted his scarf, hanging it on the familiar coat hanger, taking note in the back of his mind the relief that filled his chest at being, well, home, “Sorry?”
Ms. Hudson looked over her shoulder, “Well, I gather he’ll be around shortly, yes?”
Sherlock froze half way through shrugging out of his coat, the thought hitting him harder than he expected. Would he?
“Yes.” Sherlock said stiffly, dropping his coat over a chair—John’s chair—with a flourish, “Yes, of course. Tea would be lovely, thank you.”
Ms. Hudson gave him another firm kiss on the cheek and a Oh Sherlock, do play some violin for me tomorrow. I can’t tell you how I’ve missed it, and left him to “get settled.”
Sherlock had prepared the tea with shaking fingers. Of course John would be around. He wouldn’t let the night end like it had would he? He’d want to see Sherlock. Definitely. John was a man of answers, and he had two years worth of questions to ask. Sherlock had poured the water into the tea pot, set out two cups (he’d looked for John’s favorite mug only to find it no longer in the cupboard), milk, and sugar. He’d put it all on a tray, set it rather too harshly onto the coffee table, fell into his chair…
And the waiting had begun.
Sherlock was very good at sitting still usually. He could go days on end without speaking, without moving. But he couldn’t seem to manage it tonight.
He paced, drummed his fingers, watched the clock. By the time he decided to change into his pajamas, it was nearly two in the morning and he had already retuned his violin and stabbed the fireplace mantle approximately 57 times. The tea was cold and he hadn’t had a drop. He hung his coat up from its place on John’s chair, fluffing the flag pillow and smoothing the velvet out.
It was two thirty and Sherlock listened to Ms. Hudson’s bedroom door close downstairs. No doubt she had been waiting up for John. She’d given up. He wouldn’t.
Sherlock kept his phone in hand. John may call rather than come over now that it was so late. He had a…fiancé now, after all. Sherlock swallowed hard at the thought, checking his phone again. Another outcome Sherlock had not expected. Of course, he felt foolish now, thinking John had—thinking John could ever feel… whatever Sherlock had felt. Whatever Sherlock feels. That it was John and him, him and John. He never dreamt that there could be any other version of either of their lives, he never thought…
Sherlock pressed his hands over his eyes.
But perhaps he should not have left for two years. For a so-called genius, he seemed to have a habit of realizing things too late when it came to John Watson. Maybe one could only be a genius in one aspect of life, one field. Sherlock considered this. If that was the case, he’d gladly trade his knowledge of chemistry, of crime, of anything, for an upstanding understanding of John. Just John. It may not be more useful in his line of work. But he would be happier. Emotionally. Sherlock blinked at the realization. He was surprised, but it felt… true.
It was approaching four in the morning when Sherlock resigned to his bed. He couldn’t stare at the empty chair across from him any longer. If he did he was worried he may throw something, or miss the mantlepiece and stab himself instead with the amount he’d been at it. He let his phone rest on his chest, fingertips to his chin.
He didn’t want to admit it, but his hopes were crumbling around him. John was not calling. John was not coming up the stairs. John had left him on the curb after hitting him once, twice, three times. He found that his chest hurt more than his cheek or nose.
Sherlock was just beginning to resign himself to a few more hours of sitting completely still until it was considered a socially acceptable hour to rise and start a day in the life of the living, when his phone buzzed against his ribs, shocking Sherlock’s eyes open.
John
The screen said John.
Sherlock had barely picked up before he was saying his name.
He was met with a few beats of silence and then, slowly, “You’re awake.”
Sherlock felt pinned against the mattress, “You don’t sound surprised.”
The response was more immediate this time, “I’m not.”
You’re awake.”
Sherlock nearly closed his eyes at the familiar scoff, “Yes, of course I’m awake.”
“I… I’m not surprised… either.” Sherlock had never struggled for words so much in his life.
Silence followed and Sherlock thought he heard John pouring himself tea, or maybe a drink.
“Jesus,” A chair scooted back over the line and John sighed as he sat now, “I’ve not a clue what to say. How’s the nose?”
Sherlock felt himself smile a little at the comment. This was the most normal he had felt in two entire years, “Not as bad as the ribs.”
John chuckled softly, the way he did when he was confused, “What? I didn’t hit you in the ribs.”
“No. You didn’t.”
Silence followed again. Sherlock heard John’s breathing stop and restart, “Sherlock-“
“Don’t worry, I’m okay-“
“No, that’s not the point, Sherlock, the point is that you let me- You let me knock you around when someone else had been doing god knows what god knows where.”
“Don’t worry, you’re much gentler than Serbian interrogators.”
He heard John set his tea down too hard, “What? I- Oh my god, I swear, if you’re joking-“
“I don’t joke.”
Another laugh, this time disbelieving. It sent another shock of relief through Sherlock, “Yes you do, Jesus, Jesus-“
“John. I’m okay-“
“Well, you were dead this morning!”
John’s breathing was harsh over the phone. Sherlock could picture him rubbing his eyes. Sherlock just listened for a moment to the familiar sound. He didn’t know how to start. Sorry was nothing, not what was needed, it wasn’t enough.
“John…” Sherlock let out a breath, “I-“
“Don’t you dare say you’re-“
“I wanted to tell you so many times-“
“God, did you now?” John was nearly fuming again, “That’s the first time you haven’t given into one of your impulses.”
Sherlock closed his eyes. Hardly, John. Hardly.
Sherlock breathed deeply through his nose, “You’re right. I should know better.”
Sherlock heard a clatter that sounded like John throwing his cup in the sink, “Yes. Yes, you should.”
“Maybe I’ll give into one right now.”
A beat of silence, “What?”
Sherlock was already halfway to the door, “I’m coming over.”
The laugh was back, nervous and relieved this time, “Sherlock it’s nearly five-“
“I’m giving into an impulse, John.”
“Right…” A chair scraped back, “Yes, okay. Alright.”
“I’ll catch a cab. Text me the address, would you?”
Sherlock thought he heard a hitch in breath, a small sniff maybe. It made his chest ache, “Yeah.”
Sherlock shrugged half way into his coat, “Okay-“
“Right, can we not say goodbye?”
Sherlock’s brows furrowed, “John?”
“’s just the last time you said…” John couldn’t seem to finish but he didn’t have to.
Sherlock understood. He understood and he knew he’d never utter the word ‘goodbye’ to John Watson again.
“See you soon, John.”
FUTURE HEARTS | PT.5
genre: angst + punk!jikook
description: It was everything, from his tattoos, to his touches, to the way sweat rolled down his neck as he strummed into his guitar on stage; everything about him had completely enthralled you. So why are you now, two and a half years later, on a train to Seoul, telling a complete stranger the recollection of how you became fated to forever have scars on all of your future hearts, due to the happiness, but most of all the pain, that came along with falling in love with Jeon Jungkook.
note: inspired by the anime/manga “Nana”
cr.
a year and a half earlier.
Jungkook collapsed against the seat of the train, a heavy weight filling his chest as he buried his face into the palms of his hands. He could feel the incessant sting at the back of his eyes as tears continued to fall down his flushed skin. He just couldn’t believe that this was happening, this wasn’t how it was supposed to end — it was never supposed to end between the two of you.
He couldn’t help but think to himself, was this really the right thing to do? Leaving the girl he loves behind so he could pursue this opportunity. He knew that music was the only thing he wanted to do with his life, working a normal job, doing the same things day to day, it just wasn’t for him. So when Seoyeon asked him to be in her band after she got offered her record deal, he knew he had to take it, but then he quickly realized what that actually meant.
It meant no more late night drives out to the lake, it meant no more looking out into the crowd of his shows and seeing your face, it meant no more waking up in the middle of the night to find you curled against his chest, but most importantly — it meant no more you and him, and just that single thought alone was enough to tear him apart at the seams.
Bestfriend Trouble (2/2) | Zach Dempsey x Reader
Genre: Romance, Fluff
POV: Reader’s/First Person
A/N: Hi everyone! Here’s part 2 of Bestfriend Trouble! A lot of things are going to happen for this one. I hope you guys like this! Warning: This might be too cheesy for other people, especially near the end. HAHAHA. Enjoy!
Request: Can u do a imagine where Zach takes you to the dance and y'all do cute things like slow dance and all that.. and u can end it how u like it.
—–
“Will you go with me, as my date, to the winter formal?” Zach finally asks after 10 minutes of clearing his throat, coughing and stalling. I laugh at him in response.
“Yeah, duh. Who else will I go with? You’re obliged to ask me since I’m your best friend.” I answer and he stares at me for a while with a confused look on his face.
“Well with that kind of reasoning, I should be asking Justin to the dance too since he’s also my bestfriend.” he mumbles under his breath but loud enough for me to hear while rolling his eyes.
“Yeah, Zach? I don’t get why you’re acting so odd for the past couple of days.” I reply as I lean back on my chair and cross my arms in front of my chest. He turns to face me and lets out a deep sigh.
“Look, I’m not asking you to the dance because I have to or because it’s my responsibility as your best friend.” he begins, adding finger quotations as he says the words “best friend”.
“I’m asking you to the dance because I genuinely want to go with you, Y/N. No one else, just you. Only you.” he continues and I give him a small smile.
“Alright, fine, okay, I’ll go to the dance with you. It’s not like I had a choice anyway.” I answer and he groans in frustration.
“Please don’t say yes because you don’t have a choice. Please don’t say yes if you feel like you’re just doing me a favor.” he says as he rubs the sides of his temples. I raise an eyebrow at him and shake my head before speaking.
“Okay, okay. I’m sorry, yes, I will go to the winter formal with you Mr. Zachary Dempsey. It will be my absolute pleasure to be your date.” I finally say and he lifts up his head to face me. There was a certain sparkle in his eyes, like he was ecstatic that I agreed to go with him to the dance.
The rest of Zach and I’s time in Monet’s was nothing out of the ordinary. After the whole conversation about the dance, we just got on with typical best friend stuff. He got us more food - celebratory pastries as Zach liked to call them - and he dropped me home after that.
There were only a few days left until the winter formal and I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t excited for it. If I’m being completely honest, I was excited to go to the dance and I was hoping - even to the point of praying - for Zach to ask me to be his date. However, I didn’t want to let anyone know just in case everything goes to hell. I didn’t want to expect anything because expectations lead you to disappointments. Fortunately, it looks like the stars have aligned and the Gods have listened to my prayers because so far, everything’s going great.
So as soon as she’d left for work that Monday morning, you awkwardly pulled on a pair of jeans, grabbed your purse and headed out for some fresh air and quality time spent alone.
Dean Ambrose - Prompts #20 “I’m pregnant” and #37 “You’re lying”
Request for - @ryleeroseb4
Warnings - Fluff, Pregnancy (is that warning idk)
Word Count - 2000 Words.
Originally posted by iamed04
Today was a big day, it was Smackdown live and your long term (3 years to be exact) boyfriend Dean Ambrose had a title shot to become the 2x Intercontinental champion. You so badly wanted him to win, it would be the perfect set up to tell him about your long awaited 3 month pregnancy that you had been waiting to surprise him with. You see, you and Dean had been actively trying for a baby over the past year. Although it was hard considering you were also on the road with him as one of Smackdown Live’s make up artists. It was safe to say it was pretty early to be trying for children but you both knew you had found ‘the one’ the moment you saw each other. When you two had first started trying you were both extremely naive thinking it was going to all happen quickly, but you were both very wrong. There had been a few complications along the way - some hard to swallow and others well, they just mean’t you got more time in bed with your man
But low and behold after many months and weeks of quite literally relentless (but incredibly fun) trying; you were finally pregnant. You had been bursting to tell him since you found out when you were just 2 weeks. But you had contained yourself and waited for the 3 month ‘safe point’ now was just a waiting game of pin pointing the moment you were going to tell him. But tonight’s Smackdown match up provided that perfect opportunity - that if everything went to plan.
You were currently backstage with Dean’s best friend Roman and his daughter Jojo, you were both ‘hiding’ from Dean due to the fact Roman was still meant to be with Raw on tour but he opted to come see his brother after a long time apart and you were meant to be wrapped up in bed after a faux illness you had suddenly contracted; this morning you had told your boyfriend you that you felt deathly sick (which wasn’t a lie with morning sickness and all that) and you probably wouldn’t be able to make it to his match tonight. You must admit you felt overly guilty when you saw the dimples from his unusual morning smile disappear as you told him you couldn’t make it, but those feelings instantly went away as soon as you look at or even felt the 12 week scan in the back pocket of your jeans. Or remember that your elaborate surprise would fix a permanent grin to his features for a long long time. Roman was the only person who knew about your pregnancy and he only found out an hour or so prior to meeting him at Smackdown - but you had sworn him to secrecy, not even allowing him to text his wife or Seth, you didn’t want people knowing before the person that deserved to know the most.
~Match Time~
As soon has Maryse’s hand connected with Dean’s cheek your heart sunk - instantly recognising the imminent disqualification heading The Miz’s way obviously resulting in him retaining. You looked over to Roman who at first appeared pre-occupied with little Jojo, but you could see the same look on his features as the one you felt in your stomach. The nauseous feeling only became worse when you saw the ref raise his hand in the direction of the time keepers area, you placed your head in your hands bracing yourself for the sound of the bell - but slowly began to raise your head as the sound never came and Roman gave your shoulder a slight nudge along with a heartychuckle. Your eyes wearily glanced up to the screen to a smile formed on your face and giggle bubbled from your rouged lips as your saw Dean being as stubborn as ever arguing with ref, almost pleading the ref to not disqualify The Miz. You could see the sceptical look dousing the features of the official causing you to cross your fingers and bite the skin around your nails out of nervous habit - as soon as you saw the officials hand rest at his side signifying the continuation of the match you slowly let out a breath you didn’t even know you were holding; hearing the Samoan beside you do the same.
The match dragged on and you could see fatigue setting with in both superstars, Jojo had long lost interest but you and Roman were still perched on the edges of you seats - it seemed Ro wanted your plan to work almost as much as you did. Your eyes drifted from the screen for a mere 5 seconds but were instantly diverted back as you heard a huge pop erupt from the crowd - one so deafening it even brought Jojo’s attention to the TV. You squealed in delight as you saw Dean hook Miz’s arms ready for ‘dirty deeds’, you excitement rocketed as he successfully hit the devastating DDT and the official began the three count. You rapidly slapped Romans arm as the referees hand touched the canvas finalising the three count, you hugged Roman, your heightened emotion caused makeup stained tears to fall onto his shirt.
“Y/N you have to go hide, you know he won’t be out there long” Roman’s deep voice announced pulling away from the celebratory hug. You quickly nodded in realisation and headed to the bathroom of the Dean’s dressing room, assuring you left the door open a fraction so you could see your boyfriend the moment he walked in. It was a short five minutes before you heard the two best friends.
“Congratulations brother” Roman quite literally screamed at Dean, you boyfriend chuckled pulling Roman in for a ‘bro hug’
“Cheers man, means a lot - happy to be holdin’ the gold again” Dean mused gesturing to the title gleaming upon his shoulder. A look of fondness adorned your face admiring how happy he was - and how he was about to become a whole lot happier.
“Where’s Y/N man?” Roman questioned clearly trying to conceal the smirk creeping to his face, as Dean scooped up Jojo giving her a massive cuddle from her favourite uncle. You heart beat sped up and a feeling of warmth swarmed your body just seeing just how much of a perfect daddy Dean will be.
“She couldn’t make it, she was really sick this morning” he shrugged continuing to hold Jojo - the small girl amused by the championship upon Dean’s shoulder. “I’m waiting on the soppy congratulations text that she’s probably been typing for five minutes already” he rolled his eyes playfully - that sentence was the perfect opportunity to reveal your presence. You made one final check of you back pocket just to make sure the scan hadn’t fallen out - as soon as you felt it that beaming smile broke onto your face again.
“What sort of champs girlfriend isn’t there to greet the champ” you announced as you walked out of the bathroom door holding your arms out. Dean promptly placed Jojo down and bolted over to you; picking you up and swinging you round.
“I thought you were ill! You little bitch you lied” he scolded playfully his scruff tickling your face as he kissed your temple.
“I did not lie, i did feel sick - but i wouldn’t miss the love of my life getting what he wanted more than anything; his championship back!” you argued defensively with a giggle, pressing your soft lips to Dean’s as he continued holding you in a tight yet comforting embrace - that was until his arms loosened around you and his face become more serious.
“Babe, i promise i will give you what you want soon - i’ll make you happy, i already know you’ll be an amazing mother” he mumbled lowly his piercing cerulean staring directly into yours as he gently intertwined his still sweaty hands with your more delicate ones. You stared at him your features perplexed in bewilderment - before you finally understood what he meant; you had to try your hardest to conceal your smile before you spoke up.
“Maybe a lot sooner than we thought” you announced twirling a strand of your loosely curled hair between your painted nails. He gave you a puzzled look and placed his hand on your shoulder - daintily rubbing circles into it with his thumb; something he often did to comfort you.
“Babe i can’t promise anything soon or tell you when it’s going to happen but -” you interrupted him before he could finish his sentence.
“I’m pregnant” you spoke loudly over the rumble of his deep voice and the background noises of the arena that all faded to silence in that one moment - a grin spreading from ear to ear across your face as you saw, Dean’s eyes light up, something not even a title win could bring to him.
“You’re lying” his voice drawled out in disbelief as his muscled hands automatically left the go of his precious title and made their way to your only minutely, protruding belly. “I can’t - i can’t believe it” he blinked rapidly as his grin widened exposing his pearly whites. “I’m going to be a Daddy!” he shouted almost at the top of his lungs before encapsulating your small frame in his much larger, herculean like one. Your small arms tightened round his large frame as tears of pure joy spilled from your eyes and onto his vest clad chest. The romantic embrace was cut short as your remembered the scan in your pocket - he gave raised an eyebrow at you as you hastily tore yourself from his embrace and reached to your pocket.
“This is why i was ‘ill’ this morning” you said sheepishly handing him the tiny black and white scan. “Three months yesterday” you smiled as his brows furrowed to study the small-scaled image.
“Babe… why has our child got like four arms?” you snorted knowing he was bound to ask something stupid like that.
“Dean - did it not cross your mind that, ya know - that could be two different babies…” your voice trailed off towards the end of the sentence as you saw realisation set in his features.
“Woah woah - twins? You’re telling me that you’re bring two mini Ambrose’s into the world at once? Jesus Christ someone send help” Roman spoke up from the back of the room causing you and Dean to burst out in a fit of giggles. You even heard Jojo laugh a little at her fathers comment. You quickly turned back to Dean only to be met with a wistful kiss slammed onto your plump lips.
“Twins eh? I can’t believe it. I am the happiest man alive right now - all thanks to you Y/N. I love you” he spoke solemnly after pulling away from the short but love filled kiss.
“I love you too Handsome” you beamed up at him. “However as much as I’m enjoying this huge mushy love stuff - I’d much rather enjoy some fries and a chocolate milkshake.” Smirking as you saw the disgust on Dean and Roman’s faces you spoke up again. “C’mon the twins are hungry” you chuckled beginning to make your way out of the dressing room.
Roman and Dean shared a look before shrugging, starting to follow you and Jojo - who had already left her daddy to be with her favourite auntie.
“Hey, congrats man. This’ll be the most joyful, yet most stressful thing you’ll ever experience. But trust be it’s worth it” Roman mused as he stared at you and Jojo lightly skipping through the halls; the words left his mouth with wisdom and experience causing Dean to let out a hearty laugh. Before he spoke - almost out of earshot
“All I can say is - I truly am THE happiest man alive.”
A/N: This one was soo good to write! All the daddy dean feels!! Money Well Spent.
Request - Could you maybe do a SUPER fluffy Happy/Pregnant!Reader one with Happy being super protective and all around involved with the pregnancy to the point the guys want to hit him if he tries to show off his Old Lady’s belly pics ONE MORE TIME??? Kozik being godfather and crying/threatening lives would also be awesome (though I know this is a LOT)
I’ve never been pregnant so I apologise if I got anything wrong, and for it being so short. I also included the baby being born but I can always rewrite it if you don’t like it! - Red_w00dy xoxo
@ilikechocolatemilkh
Groaning as you climbed out of the car, you slowly made your way towards the clubhouse with one hand pressed against your aching back and the other resting on your swollen stomach. You were eight and half months pregnant with your first child and were calling in to see your Old Man, Happy, on your way home from the hospital. Much to your surprise, Happy had been more involved with the pregnancy than you’d expected. You’d assumed he’d take a laid back approach to the whole situation but you couldn’t have been more wrong. He came to all your scans with you, spent all his free time decorating the baby’s nursery in anticipation of its arrival and constantly went out of his way to make sure you were comfortable. You couldn’t ask for anything more, he’d been perfect ever since the pair of you had found out you were expecting.
“Y/N, what are you doing? Come on, let’s get you sat down!” Kozik exclaimed when you entered the building, rushing to escort you over to the couch where Gemma and Tara were sat deep in conversation.
“I can’t wait to get this baby out of me, I don’t think I’ve ever been this tired in my entire life” You yawned, relaxing into the soft leather and smiling at Gemma who had began to run her hand over your large stomach.
“I can’t wait either, I’m so excited to meet my godson for the first time” Kozik grinned, perching himself on the edge of the pool table. Ever since you and Happy had asked him, he’d made it his mission to be the best godfather he could be.
“What makes you think it’s going to be a boy, Blondie? For all you know it could be a girl” You enquired, raising an eyebrow at your husband’s best friend and smiling when you felt your baby kick inside of you.
“I have to agree with Kozik, Y/N, you’re definitely having a boy. I’m even willing to bet money on it” Gemma interjected before Kozik could reply, dropping a ten dollar bill on the table as Tara and Kozik did the same.
“You’re all gonna be shit out of luck when I give birth to a beautiful little girl then, aren’t you?” You smirked, adding to the small pile of notes in front of you. Happy would kill you if he found out you were betting on the sex of your unborn child again.
You continued to argue about the baby’s gender for another hour, maintaining that you were going to be having a girl, not a boy. The conversation soon turned to Happy becoming a father, the other two women coming to the conclusion the baby had no hope of being normal with Happy as the child’s father and Kozik as it’s godfather. You pointed out that Abel was fine despite having grown up around Happy and Tig of all people. Tara simply replied that they had only ever left Abel alone with Tig once, and had decided never to do it again after Abel had returned home wanting to grow up to have as many girlfriends as his Uncle Tig had. You made a mental note not to leave the baby with Tig when it was born, deciding that having Kozik for a godfather would be enough craziness for the child.
“All I’m saying is that I’ve already seen the pictures today, Hap. I didn’t mean any offence by it” Juice rolled his eyes as the guys entered the room, referring to the maternity shots that Happy liked to carry around everywhere with him.
“You saying my girl isn’t beautiful or something, Ortiz?” Happy growled, clutching a photograph in his hand and blissfully unaware of the fact you were stifling your laughter in the corner.
“She’s stunning, hottest pregnant chick I’ve ever seen!” Juice stuttered, backing away from the Tacoma Killer with a fearful look in his eyes. “I just mean you could show someone else instead, maybe someone that hasn’t seen them a million times”
“Good luck with that, Juicy,” You laughed from where you sat, attracting the attention of the members of the MC. “He’s shown them to everyone, including the mailman, the guy that came to fix the boiler, the old lady that asked to borrow some sugar…”
“Why do I not find that hard to believe? You should have seen Romeo’s face earlier, I thought he was going to shoot himself when Hap started telling him about your birth plan” Jax chuckled, the guys seating themselves in various chairs around the room.
“You told a guy you barely know about me giving birth? What were you thinking?” You scolded, motioning for Opie and Bobby to pull you out of your seat so you could storm over to where Happy leaned against the bar.
“Thanks a lot, brother,” Happy muttered under his breath, moving to rest his hands on your bump when you finally reached him. “All I said is that we weren’t having an epidural if we could help it”
“And you think that’s something you say to someone that you’ve met on a handful of occasions? You’re ridiculous, Happy Lowman” You shook your head in disbelief at your man’s actions, covering his calloused hands with your considerably smaller ones on your pregnant stomach.
You both fell silent when Kozik mentioned the bet behind you, your face indicating your embarrassment as Happy shot you an amused look. All the guys voiced their own opinions of what you were going to be having whilst adding ten dollar bills to the pile. Bobby, Juice, Opie, Jax and Clay agreed with Gemma, Tara and Kozik that you were going to have a boy, leaving Chibs, Rat, Tig, Phil and Piney to support your firm opinion that it was going to be a girl - a little SAMCRO princess as Tig had expertly put it.
“It can’t be a girl,” Kozik frowned, directing everyone’s attention to where he was standing. “I don’t want to spend my final years chasing guys away with Happy. They’re called the golden years for a reason”
“Tough shit, ” Happy growled, resting his hands on your hips when you turned around to face the rest of the room. “If it is a girl, all of you better be prepared to scare any potential boyfriends away”
“Happy, we’ve talked about this” You sighed, resting your head against his chest and allowing your eyes to flutter shut, feeling his lips press softly against your forehead.
“I don’t care, babe. She’s never going to have a boyfriend, not if I have anything to do with it” He replied gruffly, tracing circles into your hips as you fought back the urge to sigh at his behaviour.
“Our daughter will be allowed to date whoev-” You snapped before a sharp pain in your stomach cut your sentence short, followed by a damp feeling in your underwear and water trickling down your legs.
“Babe, what is it?” Happy quizzed frantically, moving to stand in front of you and stare down at the floor where a puddle of water had began to form on the ground by your feet.
“Hap, my waters have just broken” You breathed, his eyes widening as Gemma immediately took control of the situation. She sent Happy to go grab the bag from his dormitory, threw her car keys to Kozik so he could drive and beckoned Tara to come help her lead you outside.
“Oh fuck, what are we supposed to do?” Kozik panicked, helping you into the back of the car with Tara as Happy jogged across the lot. “Happy, do you have everything? You got your toothbrush? Y/N’s toothbrush? The baby’s toothbrush? Wait, the baby won’t have teeth… will it?”
“Kozik, just shut the fuck up and drive me to the fucking hospital already!” You screamed when another wave of searing pain coursed through you, causing you to grip Happy’s hand in an attempt to block out the pain.
Nine hours later you found yourself gazing fondly at the baby girl in your arms, Happy perched on the edge of the mattress with his arm draped around your shoulders whilst smiling down at your newborn daughter. Tufts of black hair poked out from underneath the little pink hat she wore, her big brown eyes that resembled Happy’s so much staring up at you both. You couldn’t fight the overwhelming amount of love you felt for the newborn. You looked up to meet Happy’s gaze, nodding at him to signal that you were ready for him to bring in the MC that you knew were waiting outside the room.
“Guys,” Happy grinned when they entered, waiting until they had all come in before he spoke again. “I’d like you to meet the newest member of the family - Isabella Sofia Lowman”
“That’s a beautiful name” Tara commented, both her and Gemma pushing through the crowd of men to stand next to you and look down at the baby in your arms.
“We named her after Happy’s Mom and my Aunt Sofia” You informed them, nodding your head towards Kozik to come forwards so that he could meet his goddaughter.
“I don’t want to drop her,” The blonde fretted when you handed her to him, stray tears falling down his cheeks when he caught sight of her properly. “She’s gorgeous. Hey Hap, we’re going to have trouble keeping the guys away from this one”
“You’re telling me, I’m going to have to send her to an all-girl’s boarding school or something” Your husband joked, moving to stand at his best friend’s side and gently brush his hand across Isabella’s cheek, Kozik rocking her gently in his arms.
“Oi Kozik,” You said after a couple of minutes, blue meeting brown as he raised his head to look at you. “You owe me ten bucks”
“Best ten bucks I ever spent”
Unexpected
Hii! I know it’s been long but I kinda got stuck with this one, so this time I took inspiration from real life here and there. Hope you like it!
“I don’t like you" she said bluntly, in the same tone as one would say "I bought a new shirt today”.
He blinked several times, taken aback by her statement. It was completely out of the blue… he was just talking about the new Fleetwood vinyl he got earlier that day, couldn’t see any reason why that would lead her to such emotion.
He knew he could be a bit boring sometimes, loosing himself in frivolous details, - the flat tone and all that - but still that didn’t seem to bother her the times the two of them had engaged a conversation.
“Whaa-?…why?“ He blabbered, very confused. She didn’t know why she said that, or better, she knew why but she didn’t mean to come off so brutal, and besides, it wasn’t properly necessary. She sipped on her drink and looked around the pub, avoiding his hard stare that was burning her left profile, she was trying to think about something to explain herself. Shit, she had this amazing talent to get herself in the loveliest situations.
“I don’t know… I guess you try too much?“ She said hesitant with a questioning tone, as to ask him confirmation, still not meeting his eyes.
“I try what too much?“ He asked back, starting to feel offended at that point.
"To be liked! You try too much to be liked, I guess… I never know if what you say is what you really think or what people want to hear… It’s fucked up man, that’s what it is… And for that, I don’t like you!" She rambled, not knowing how to word her thoughts properly and getting nervous.
