Kids, shine your astrospurs and don your robot fists, ‘cause it’s time for SPARKS NEVADA, MANCHILD ON MARS!

Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars, was sitting at his desk and toying with a space-paper clip when his faithful Martian companion, Croach the Tracker, entered the Marshal Station.  As Croach carefully laid his bow and quantum arrows down upon his own desk, the Marshal slumped noticeably down in his chair.

“Sparks Nevada,” the Martian politely acknowledged, with the slightest tip of his head in Sparks’s direction.

“Hmmph,” was the Marshal’s only reply, but he watched the Martian warily from under the brim of his hat in the minutes of silence that followed.

'Doctor Strange' Script Gets Some 'Community' Help From Dan Harmon (Exclusive)
The comedy creator has little experience writing for superheroes, but he's the latest to join Marvel's odd writing club for the comic book movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

This shit. This fucking shit right here. I cannot believe this. We all know from the Suicide Squad experience that if these kind of last-minute changes were made to a DC movie, commentators would be going absolutely wild and prematurely declaring the film a “mess” and a “failure” before it even hit the box office. But what have these folks got to say when M.arvel does it?

“The move follows the outside-the-box thinking that Marvel is known for. One of the best example is hiring Anthony and Joe Russo, best known as TV comedy directors for their work on Arrested Development, Happy Endings, and, yes, Community, to make the jump into superheroes. They have now directed two of Marvel’s most acclaimed movies, Captain America: The Winter Solider and Captain America: Civil War.”

Yes, so out-of-the-box. So creative. So original. But when it’s done for M.CU movies. Also, just a reminder, this is the same outlet that published this disaster of an article. Could their bias be any more transparent?

And what’s Collider got to say?

“Usually, reshoots aren’t a signifier of trouble. Especially with major blockbusters, it’s common for studios to schedule additional shooting days beyond principal photography, and Marvel has made this standard practice for all of their films—Captain America: Civil War had reshoots, as did Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s interesting, though, that Marvel chose Harmon. Might he be lending some more comedic breath to the story of Stephen Strange?”

Of course, when Suicide Squad had reshoots, DC was “course correcting” trying to avoid the “failure” of BvS. For contrast, just read this other article, also published by Collider, about the Suicide Squad reshoots. The difference really speaks for itself.

It’s this sort of thing that gives weight to the accusations of media bias towards the M.CU and against the DCEU.
