LOOK I JUST END UP MAKING EPILOGUES TO SCI’S FIC. I DON’T NEED REASONS.

What I feel was a discussion Tony MUST have had with DJ after “You or Someone Like You” was over.

I had a pithy one liner that Darcy said to DJ about WHY Tony made the roombas but I DIDN’T WRITE IT DOWN AND IT’S LOST TO ME.

“What you did all those years, it wasn’t you. You didn’t have a choice”.
“I know… but I did it”.

“Maz eats ice cream before every game! We realised it’s the secret to his success.” / “Maz gets first pick. Maz, which one do you want?” / “I think I’ll skip today.” / “What? Maz, you gotta have your rainbow sprinkles, bro.” / “I just don’t want it.” / “Serious, Maz, I got, like, three extra.” / “The things I do…‘cuse me - there we go.”

UNDRAFTED: “Okay, but what if it creates a fissure in the space-time continuum?”

i gots me some lars thoughts...

Ya know…while I don’t condone any of his actions or attitude problems in any way, since they do hurt those who care about him, I just can’t find it in me to dislike Lars. The episodes he’s in can be cringy af, but it’s never really because of him in particular.

I’m never gonna go ‘he’s my precious bby son & i love him so much why u so mean to him???? ubububu~’, because he does have some major growing up to do in regards to how he treats those who care about him.

But I can never dislike or hate him. Because he’s just a teenager. Because it’s obvious he’s got issues. Issues with how the public sees him as well as some low self esteem? ever since he was little (Beach City Horror Club flashback, anyone?).

The boy doesn’t need to be punched like everyone seems to want, for god’s sake! He needs therapy. Like, actual help from a professional physiologist to help him talk & sort out his feelings & attitude. (It’d take a while for him to open up if he did get help, but that shit works. Talking from personal experience) Also maybe some anger management classes.

Steven & Sadie have tried to help, but they go about it all wrong by putting their expectations & what they want before what Lars might actually need. No, Sadie. Trapping your crush on an island for a week with no seemingly viable way to get home which leads him to having a breakdown is not helping.

How Lars treats Steven & Sadie (especially Sadie) is wrong, yes. But I could never see him doing it as a means to be purposefully vindictive. So yeah. I can’t dislike Lars.

…He’s more relatable & tolerable than Ronaldo, imo. At least Lars never tried to sacrifice anybody.

The question is why don’t men trust women. I believe it is two fold. A) all men have met those crazy “Imma be a bitch because I’m a woman and you can’t do shit” women or those “I’m a woman, you’re a man. That means you oppress me” women. Both of these are crazy ass idiots. They make up a large margin of the female population. So much, it has spawned a saying, “Don’t stick your dick in crazy”.

Manslation: Reductive stereotypes are my favorite (and only) mode of communication. Sophisticated studies by the famous scientist I. M. Ajackass prove that the majority of women are “crazy ass idiots.” His methodology consisted of visiting the “Red Pill” subreddit and reading the comments on the top 5 posts. “Don’t stick your dick in crazy” DEFINITELY came about because women are crazy, not because a bunch of intellectually lazy, vile misogynists needed a quick and handy way to insult and denigrate women while being ableist simultaneously.

Voltron Tat Headcanons

Shiro would get something that subtly represented his four cubs, and served as a reminder about Matt and Sam. Maybe the quote he told Pidge “ If you get too worried about what could go wrong, you might miss a chance to do something great.” on the inside of his forearm- where he could see it easily- with four little stars around it.

Pidge would also get something to memorialize Matt and Sam, but a poetic snippet just wouldn’t be enough to convey all they wanted to… so i’m thinking a QPC code, that when scanned would bring up all the information on the kerberos mission, stylized to look like the circuitry in a tattoo of Rover (r.i.p) on the upper left arm/shoulder.

Keith mentions wanting to get something after seeing Pidge’s and Shiro’s. To himself, he’s thinking it will be something to symbolize his new family, but hasn’t decided what exactly yet when-

Lance taunts him about getting a “tramp stamp” maybe a pair of ‘wings’ since he dropped out of school/training before he could ‘earn’ them. Keith fires back that Lance is also a dropout and has no room to talk, so maybe he should get the “tramp stamp” (Keith uses air quotes because who calls it that really? Lance is so immature.) Lance sees this as a challenge and claims he’ll get a better more awesome tattoo than Keith could come up with, and they end up storming off to out design each other. On “tattoo reveal day” turns out they got matching Leo Constellations- Lance’s on his right thigh and Keith’s on his right upper arm/shoulder.

The others, comparing their first ink, notice Hunk is very enthused about theirs but has made no comment about getting his own. They collectively reassure him that there’s no push for him to get inked if he doesn’t want to- which causes him to burst out in a hardy chuckle and remove his shirt. He’s covered in tats, they continue down past his waistline and he has nearly full sleeves, with pieces ranging from abstract patterns to memorials to family members and lost pets to “this was the best creme brulee I’d ever tasted!”

The flirting’s over, Sherlock. Daddy’s had enough now. I’ve shown you what I can do. I cut loose all those people, all those little problems, even thirty million quid just to get you to come out and play. So take this as a friendly warning, my dear. Back off. Although I have loved this - this little game of ours. Do you know what happens if you don’t leave me alone, Sherlock, to you? I mean, I’m gonna kill you anyway some day. I don’t wanna rush it, though. I’m saving it up for something special. No, no, no, no, no. If you don’t stop prying, I’ll burn you. I’ll burn the heart out of you.

Kaneki and Eto get called "half ghouls" all the time and no one considers it as erasing half of their identities even though they are also human. So what's so wrong when hybrids get called "half humans" instead? It only means their human side is more dominant, just like how Kaneki's ghoul side is more dominant.

Please refer to this post, anon. I hope you get what I was saying.

Do you know that in today’s Japan (excluding big cities like Tokyo), children of mixed (especially Asian, say… half-Korean) race are still bullied in school? As recently as late 90s many businesses were reluctant to even hire them. They just aren’t Japanese enough, you know?

Mizuhara Kiko, an actress born and raised in Japan, is half-Korean half-American, and many people post hateful comments about her ancestry on anon boards. She isn’t Japanese enough.

Do you ever hear Beyonce being referred to as anything other than “a black woman”, even though she’s technically of mixed race? Why do you think that is?

When people say “half-human” it reads to me like saying, “Yes. Being human is better because humans are better, so we won’t acknowledge that you’ve got a half that is being oppressed and discriminated against, just so you won’t have to think about everything that ghouls go through or God forbid want to help them.” It reads as, “We agree with what V raised those children to believe in”. Even if you didn’t mean it that way.

We literally can’t erase the human half from any of their identities. They are non-erasable because humans are the oppressors in Tokyo Ghoul. You can’t erase the majority. You can only erase the minority, and that’s how you get Brexits and Trumps and the Abe administration and whatever the fuck is going on in Australia right now.

I’m all for just enjoying a piece of media, but you can enjoy it better if you read it as the author intended it to be read; not conflating with the real world, but analyzing as it pertains to it. Manga doesn’t exist in a vacuum.

P.S. anon, no side is more dominant. They are literally halves, even if they got shit halves. You don’t get to assign who of them is “more human”.

guys listen, you do not need to get into heated debates with non-muslims and ex-muslims on here when they try to pick at us, the Qur'an, and the prophet (pbuh). everything they do, they do for mere attention. they don’t care about what you have to say, no matter how many times you try to re-direct their thinking or offer them resources beyond their islamaphobic websites/books. they don’t care and you have to make peace with that.

when they comment under your posts, your friends’ posts, etc. with bigotry, know that all they wish to do is rile you up. they WANT you to get worked up because then they can add the labels “crazy/insane” to our name. don’t let them do that. the prophet (pbuh) dealt with much, much worse than a few bad posts. he was spit at by his neighbours, ridiculed by countless others, and on the death of his child, his own uncle, abu lahab, was one of his worst enemies, mocking him and wishing ill upon the prophet and his family. and not to mention the innumerable people who created plots for his murder.

what we go through today is NOTHING compared to what our prophet (pbuh), his family, and the sahaba went through.

so just chill and let the ignorant stay ignorant. when you argue back and forth with them, especially on a social media platform as disgusting as this site, you are not doing yourself any favours. just take a deep breath and let it go.

we were warned a long time ago that the ummah will be attacked by these sorts of people. their entire purpose is to try to change our minds, but our imaan should be strong enough to walk away from their words. they can do no harm to you if you refuse to give them the time of day. let them make their ignorant, hateful posts. they are not our problem.

take the time to increase your own knowledge. make yourself better and leave them to themselves. it’s tiring to see so many of us argue with these people who feel superiority over us.

Allah SWT made us Muslim, He gave us the Qur'an, and our beloved prophet (pbuh). we’re so, so lucky. so let go of whatever gives you a headache on here and be happy with the knowledge that we are Muslim, Alhumdulilah.
