i can be crazy if i want to

bts are stuck in a time loop.

every time something goes wrong, they go right back to the start. the hat jin is wearing at the very end says “different but same”, meaning each loop is different from the other but the outcome is always the same.

he travels back to save a member, but he will be forced to save the consequences and another member will die in their place.

if you look at the dates from the 2nd reel, where jin was changing, you can see that it was dated august 30th.

on the first august 30th, jin, in a grey sweater, turns to his side and sees that the vase of flowers have fallen over.

then, he changes from that grey sweater into something more formal.

the last scene of jin changing was ALSO dated august 30th. jin, in a grey sweater, turns to his side and catches the vase of flowers that were about to fall over.

he then changes from the grey sweater into something else more casual.

i’m not sure if the repeating of all the videos have symbolism, it could perhaps just be so we can all watch the reels from start to end, but it’s as if they’re trying to make us feel the time loop. experiencing the twists and then expecting answers, but then only starting from the top.

it’s also peculiar how the last scenes they added talked and hinted of “going back to change something.”

one last thing, each time jin travels back in time to save a member, there will be another one to take their place, right? a minute changed in a complex system would cause a large change elsewhere. this would be called the butterfly effect.

anyways im sorry that the only thing that makes sense to me since day one is larry, sorry that this sudden “anti larry” obsession during louis promo didnt have me crying to the void and wondering if they broke up, im sorry that wack ass E tattoo, the pap pics once a month or having her go to jamaica a week after we got anons talking about larry going to jamaica didnt make me worship her as my new queen, im sorry i dont believe this future football player baby is louis baby when hes almost as tall as him and calls his grandpa daddy like i can go on and on lmao y'all can continue to call me crazy all you want but im chillin’ in my larrie world laughing at y'all for believing this mess of a public image.

Drogon: So then mom was like ‘dracarys’ and me and my brothers just went crazy with fire, it was awesome!!
Rhaegal: He just likes to show off
Drogon: I don’t!
Rhaegal: Yeah you do, and I’m better anyway cos my rider is dad
Ghost: I guess Jon wouldn’t want me around anymore
Drogon: Don’t be stupid! He loves you, besides we’re brothers now, we’ll stick together
Rhaegal: And next time you can come along for a ride, it’ll be fun
Ghost: I love you guys, just don’t burn me accidentally

I remember a line in the books where it was said that Dothraki women ride until the day she gives birth. As a Khaleesi, I expect Dany to follow this philosophy and fight on dragonback even if she is pregnant. I just can't see her sitting out a fight like this where all of humanity is at stake

I don’t think she would want to sit it out. But Dany has spent years under the assumption that she can’t conceive a child.

I think either scenario is possible. I do love the idea of pregnant badass Dany riding a dragon but I would not think it OOC or crazy if she didn’t, or if Jon talked her out of it like a concerned dad haha.

Last Batch of Pages

Hey y’all!

Things have been crazy, I know it, you know it, no need to keep going on about it, but I will say that unfortunately things are going to get even crazier for me, and won’t calm down until early-September. My family is going on a trip next week, I had back to school next weekend, and I have to get into the flow of classes after that.

Considering what happened last week, and how I felt that the pages were lacking in quality, I want to make our last batch of pages for the summer as good as I can, and that means they are going to take longer.

ALL OF THIS TO SAY, I have no idea when pages will be going up. They may start up the end of next week, it may be the week after, I don’t know and I really have no way of predicting it. Life is crazy right now. But I CAN promise you’ll get seven pages, and they’ll go up in succession (if I can manage it).

I’ll try to keep you guys updated, but I also don’t want to spam you guys too much.

We’ll see what will happen!!

See you later, love you all! AmaDeuces!

I love everything you do for this fandom. It keeps my heart aflame for these two crazy kids even though they're gone. Thanks so much! I've got a question too. What made you write Cassian Erso? It's just such a fascinating concept.

I’m just happy there’s this fandom alive and well here on Tumblr and people who still want to scream about Rogue One and Rebelcaptain! (I can only cry and scream about it so much to my family before they stage an intervention.)

There’s that Gandhi quote: “Be the change you want to see in the world.” I really believe that. I also believe in this corruption of this quote, and use it as my M.O. on this hellsite: “Be the content you want to see on your dash.” Hence, bagel AU and “if the Star Wars characters worked at the mall.”

As for your question about the Cassian Erso AU. It all started because an anon had an idea and pitched me a question about whether or not I knew if a fic like this existed…and then another anon sent a message wondering what the story for it would be…and then a little brainstorming and there it was. I wrote it the specific way I did, though, because I dislike the drama of one character hiding a secret from the person they supposedly love, and so I wanted it to be more along the lines of them thinking the other one dead. I love the idea of reunions though, and getting to fall in love again, and especially the idea of second chances later in life. So many stories are about the love that comes in youth, but those can’t be the only stories? And what would it mean to these two lonely people to get this chance at family again after all this time? How have they changed? How are they still the same? (Also, the idea of Cassian searching high and low for seventeen years trying to find her again? So romantic. I’m a sucker for that. I have him doing that in my Partisans AU, too, but it’s a shorter time between losing one another and finding each other once again, and no babies in that one.)

TGIF because I am bored
Hey everyone… thank you.

I really wanted to throw this out there. I know I’ve said this a lot and it’s probably annoying by now, but I really appreciate all the support you guys give me. It’s crazy. I know I’ve said it a ton of times but I’m serious.

- Hi guys! I just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much you are truly appreciated. All these efforts you put in to break the codes, all the thoughts you share to everyone, those things that you do means a lot to us especially us who silently lurks in the corner. I know how difficult it can be, dealing with these trolls and antis, but still you guys are here, shoving facts right through their twisted minds. Thank you for keeping up with our crazy fandom and the continuous love.

Hey so I have a question to those with stretched ears. I’ve gotten to 7/8 without any real problems ever. I just stretched to an inch a couple days ago. However usually when I stretch it stings for like a day at the most and then it’s better. But this time it was aching really bad and when I tried to move the plugs a bit to peel it hurt too much to do it but today I finally just pushed through it and moved it and I can see that the skin is quite raw, definitely a bit torn. I’ve never done that before. I don’t know exactly what I should do. Should I take the 1" plugs out and put in the 7/8 to heal that way or let it be and heal as it is. I don’t want to get an infection or fuck up my ears. They definitely hurt a good bit. I can feel my pulse in them and they sting and ache like crazy. Anyone know what to do?

Ok. I can't help myself. Another question for you. I don't think Ross ever sees Elizabeth's true character, which makes me crazy. His scene with Demelza in which he tells her about meeting Elizabeth in the graveyard makes me want to throttle him. His refusal to critically analyze her actions, to consider and admit that he has not seen her true nature, how she manipulated him, how he fell for it, to learn from it and grow is infuriating.

That and his failure to truly apologize to Demelza (in the show)….aaarrrgghhh!  I hate the graveyard scene and him telling Demelza about it.  I am worried about how Debbie will present both scenes.  What do you think?  Also, do you think it matters that Ross never sees or admits that he gravely misjudged Elizabeth’s character?   In the books, his opinion of her is always good, and he believes that he has changed - that Demelza has changed him, which is also true.

To me, his character would much more admirable if he could and would do this.  What do you think?

Hiya, sorry to take so long to answer you.

I don’t think Ross ever sees Elizabeth’s true character

I agree, and I’ve talked about it a bit before, here and here. He is blinded to her faults because of this idealised view of her that he has, leftover from when he was truly in love with her. Unlike Francis, who has to live with her (’whatever she lacks or has, she lacks perfection. Every human being does.’), or Demelza, who sees Elizabeth’s manipulations perhaps more clearly for being put upon by them, Ross very rarely sees anything in Elizabeth beyond his admiration for her - for her grace, her beauty, her demeanour. Sometimes he does, but not often. He certainly doesn’t see the full depths of her character. I sometimes think that actually, only George sees all of her, and even he is blinkered.

His refusal to critically analyze her actions, to consider and admit that he has not seen her true nature, how she manipulated him, how he fell for it, to learn from it and grow is infuriating.

I agree, it’s frustrating that Ross never really sees Elizabeth’s full character……but on the other hand, I absolutely don’t think the blame is all Elizabeth’s, and if he were to shrug his shoulders and say ‘I mistook her character, she manipulated me’, that could very easily be seen as amounting to an abrogation of his responsibility for his own actions. It could be seen as blaming Elizabeth entirely for Ross’s infidelity. She manipulates, she entices, she spurs him on - but he is responsible for his actions. Ross has to take that on board, and really, it’s the fact that he does finally admit to Demelza that what happened was a mistake, that through it he came to realise that he no longer loves Elizabeth, that makes her able to begin to forgive him. Instead of saying, basically, ‘something came over me, it wasn’t my fault’, he owns his actions and admits they were wrong.

And, as I’ve said before, I truly don’t think Elizabeth’s trying to manipulate him, when they meet (by chance, don’t forget!) in the churchyard, either in show or book. She’s desperate and unhappy and afraid, and Ross is the only person she could talk to about it.

do you think it matters that Ross never sees or admits that he gravely misjudged Elizabeth’s character?

No, in the end, I don’t think it does - as I discussed in one of the links above. I think he so completely accepts her position, her relationship to him - as a former love, a past love, somebody whom he will always think fondly of and want the best for but not somebody for whom he yearns - that in the end, it doesn’t matter that he doesn’t see her faults. I also think that the manner of her death, and the way Ross sees her then, means that I, personally, don’t and can’t think harshly of Ross for never admitting Elizabeth’s faults. I wish he did, but don’t judge him for not seeing the flaws.

And heck, even Demelza, in later years, says that Elizabeth was a much nicer person than Demelza was able to see at the time! Time and distance tends to lend a rose-tinted view of things.

Generally, it’s something about Ross’s character that I think becomes less irksome as time passes. It’s okay, I think, to reflect on past loves with a biased eye. It’s when that bias interferes with current life that it becomes a problem - ie, in s2, when Ross’s unhappinesses make him turn towards Elizabeth and away from Demelza. By s3, and moving onwards, he has recognised that his feelings for Elizabeth are in the past, and they don’t affect his current actions or decisions, so I don’t feel it really matters that he never sees Elizabeth ‘warts and all’.

Hey guys so um I’m sorry that I haven’t been as active as I used to be lately but I haven’t been feeling very well mentally. My depression and anxiety have started to kick in again and also I have been studying like crazy for the past weeks for my finals and so I’m not at my best right now. I just wanted to let you know that I’ll try to get better and come back as soon as I can. Your guys support and understanding would mean a lot to me. Anyways thanks for taking time to read this. @samperv

uhm, sorry to bother you but.. was curious to know if uhm you finished the last chapter for Yours? and.. maybe when it will be available :( sorry to bother you ~

you’re not bothering me :]

aaaand… I can’t really say. Honestly, I need to be in a very particular kind of mood to write really intense scenes from LV’s POV, and the last chapter of Yours is a Really Intense Scene… the dark lord part of my brain has been oddly quiet recently, and since Yours is just a fic I was writing as a gift and is not on a time table, I don’t want to force it.

wow. I sound crazy don’t I? Sorry. I guess the only legit answer I can give is one day I will suddenly have the urge to write it and then it will be done and posted like an hour later. I just don’t know when that will be.

you know what's crazy, 2B's VA started with doing voice stuff for old flash cartoons, like Smash Taunts. never give up on your dreams.

yeah I’m surprised at how well the voice acting’s done for everyone in English, i don’t usually see that a lot (especially surprising if that was her Origin Story™)

makes me wish I could do voice acting myself but I don’t have a good range and can only do like 2 emotions so that’d be impractical. though I’m sure someone might want my crappy frog voice for something.

saw my psychiatrist yesterday, see my psychologist today. can’t wait to play 20 questions with her as she tries to get me to talk about him since she figured out last time who i hear. she’ll want to know what he and i talk about, what he says to me, and i wish i didn’t find it so hard to just tell her. even better i wish i could write about it here and be able to say his name to get it all off my chest. but alas.

i hate doctors and i hate being crazy and i hate that i’m forced to deal with both

chromadic  asked:

hi- what is your opinion on GMOs? i have friends in bioengineering who seem to pretty much agree on the consensus that they are all around better than non-GMO strains, except maybe when it comes to soy. basically what I'm wondering is are GMOs: - healthier? - better for the environment? - more agriculturally efficient? sorry this question is so long, thanks a million for answering it! (if you do)

from a scientific aspect:

the facts are, GMOs are the future and the key to increasing crop production for our increasing population if your goal is to keep up food production for more people. remember, the goal right now in agriculture- the key goal that we’re throwing everything into because big yikes fam- is to produce more food off less. so like, vertical farming? good, saves space. smaller plants with bigger yield? great, saves space, can plant more and get more food. plants that are resistant to drought? to high temps? to low fertilizer? amazing, it means you have hardier plants that you can put in places that regular plants wouldn’t be able to stand.

so are they agriculturally efficient? hell yeah, because remember, it takes about 10 years for a crop in testing- GMO or not- to reach a point in development where it can be submitted for approval by the USDA for the market (something I’ve learned in my current job). imagine doing all breeding without GMOs. you would literally be able to do one cross a year, maybe two if you’re in a warmer area (this is why a lot of soybean breeding has been moved to South America, where they can do twice as much breeding). with GMOs, you can develop and test stuff faster, so by a monetary standpoint it’s awesome.

lets not forget that GMO crops can withstand more because of the pure amount of precision put into them. like, lets say your corn breaks a lot. you can spend 3-4 years meticulously cross breeding your developing strain with a break-resistant variety to get that trait in, or you can just cut and paste in the gene. and get this: it doesn’t even have to be from the break resistant variety. you can pull it from another plant that might be better at not breaking, and get an even better resulting variety.

another thing that we can’t forget about is that new GMO tech helps us keep up with pests and diseases. at work, i’ve seen experiments involving root pests; plants infected had root systems destroyed down to a single tap root. imagine that happening to a farmer’s field. like, all of it. that’s the kind of thing we’re up against here; to stop infestations and to solve new challenges quickly by developing technology quickly, while still improving the plant to commercial level.

when talking to the breeders at work, they told me that the industry as a whole recently upped its goal from creating a crop that would give each farmer a 200 bushel harvest (200 bushels has been the goal for the past 30 years; they’ve recently reached it and exceeded it) to 300 bushels per harvest. they have to do this just by modifying the plants. they have no control over how much the farmer plants and/or how many fields they have.

to give some perspective here, one bushel is 60 pounds of grain. they’re aiming to have each farmer that buys their products be able to reliably harvest and sell 18,000 pounds of grain per year

the moral of the story is that the breeding and agri industries are under a lot of pressure here, and they have to work fast, because the population is rising.

knock knock

whos there?

dwindling nitrogen supplies in farmland and unsustainable farming practices but im gonna save that for another time

are they healthier? it depends on what you believe. like, what we’ve found so far is that GMOs don’t hurt you. some of them have added vitamins that can help you (lets not forget the famous GMO golden rice, which uses a daffodil gene coupled with a soil bacterium gene to make a rice variety produce a huuuuuge amount of vitamin A. this has been so effective in solving vitamin deficiencies and health problems in 3rd world countries since it was introduced in 2005 that its won awards and been used as a universal case study for the whole “GMO plants” thing) but most are just like. idk. kind of there? they help the health of the plant and help the farmer bring in income, so???? idk???

are they better for the environment? i have no idea. i suppose indirectly, because like. if you have a heartier plant you have to clear less land for agriculture?? (can anyone weigh in here?). But if these got out into the wild, the effects could be DEVASTATING, which is why the USDA and related government organizations (depending on where you live) make it so you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that what you’re putting out into production won’t be crazy damaging if it magically gets out somehow.

ethically: i have no idea man. like im still super split on it. my scientist self says “you can literally buy everything to do it and modify plants to produce heat right in your own home right now” but then im like……………..idk man we just dont know. i dont want to hurt my plant friends. if this hurts our plant friends. idk

so guys. i know it’s the time of That Week In March and it’s crazy stressful not knowing what’s going on with dnp and potentially being thisclose to an answer but can we all promise not to get too worked up over this? whatever dan and phil have going on behind the scenes, they’ll tell us when they’re ready and not a minute before. it may be something super exciting, it may not be, but PLEASE don’t jump down the guys’ throats, regardless of what happens. theories are perfectly fine, i see absolutely nothing wrong with them, but remember that they’re just that–theories. nothing is fact until it’s confirmed/denied by dnp themselves. i know it’s frustrating as hell to be staring at a giant question mark but i promise, i PROMISE everything will be fine. life will go on, we’ll get new gaming videos, more main channel content, more liveshows. “ask me about this week in 5 months” doesn’t necessarily mean the first of august. it could mean the 11th or the 24th or even the 30th. so let’s all take a collective breath in….and out….and remember that dnp are people too and will (hopefully) tell us when the time is right, and if not, that’s perfectly fine too.
