i can’t imagine what she’s going through right now…..a fan did an interview with a news station just now and talked about how ariana’s mom literally pulled fans that were in the first few rows backstage along with security to get them to safety. her family and team saved fans lives tonight. absolutely nobody deserves this and i just know ariana’s taking it all to heart. she’s going to be traumatized by all of this. i feel so terrible for everybody involved i don’t even know how to begin to put it into words
What if the legion captures the legends?
Puts them all in separate cells?
And Mick goes in to see everyone struggling to get out and cursing Mick to hell and back for betraying them?
… Except for Ray?
Who is sitting quietly, trying to think of a way out. Trying. Mick comes by his cell. Asks why the hell he isn’t struggling.
And Ray apologizes.
He says sorry for ever treating Mick like he didn’t belong, for ever he may have not trusted him. He tells him he tried his best to be friendly and kind but the odds were stacked against him 7 to 1. Everyone goes quiet as Mick opens Ray’s cell. He goes in, closes it behind him, and tells Ray that he was one of the only reasons he stayed so long. Ray believed in him. Cared for him when no one else would, and never tried to invalidate him. Mick can’t look at Ray as Ray pulls him in for a hug. Ray says that he forgives Mick for his decision. Mick just nods.
Because honestly, Ray was the only one who didn’t blame Mick for what he did. He knew that the team didn’t treat him equally and called them all out (including himself) on it. And, I think Ray will keep his civility and kindness with Mick, even if they end up a situation like this.
Here it is: I LOVED that episode. It’s one of my fav so far. If there’s anyone to be mad at, it’s the marketing team, not the writers or producers.
I don’t think they disrespected Malec by not showing the sex scene. The Jace/Seelie scene was totally in character for Jace and although it could have been shorter, it shows how he copes with pain and everything he is dealing this.
What would showing the Malec scene have added? Softness? We’ve had that. We’ve seen them growing closer. We had the gift scene. The kiss on the balcony. The Magnus/Maia scene (which is everything I needed in life) and the Alec/Izzy scene (which is also everything I needed in life). I don’t need to see more than that.
Also, if you really think about it, all the “sex” scenes (if you can call it that ‘cause, come on, this is not HBO) were random hookups (Meliorn/Izzy, Simon/Maureen, Jace/Seelie lady) that can’t even compete with the development and care we had for Malec. The sex was just that: random, casual. And the fact that they showed how Malec grew to the point of taking that next step was enough for me. I don't need to see more than that, than them actually getting there together and not casually or randomly like sex has been in the rest of the show so far.
And I loved that last Malec scene. Magnus was worried about losing Alec if they were going too fast. Alec reassured him he wouldn’t. That WAS communication and yes, it could have been longer, but it was clearly consensual to me (“not that I’m complaining”).
The only one I blame for this whole fiasco is the marking team who gives away way too much and gives us high expectations and doesn’t leave any room for surprise.
The Girl from Around the Block-Lip Gallagher Imagine
Warnings: some sensuality and language (Shameless imagine, don’t be surprised)
Lip didn’t have many strictly platonic friendships with other girls. In fact, he never considered he was capable of having a relationship with a female that didn’t involve them screwing into oblivion. But Y/N Y/L/N was different. For one thing, they’ve known each other since they were two years old, when Fiona and Hailey, Y/N’s older sister, arranged a play date for the two of them. They bonded over a love of Legos and had been friends ever since. He helped her with homework and she helped him get out of trouble when trying to persuade him from getting into it failed. He taught her how to smoke and she taught him how to play the piano. They were perfect for each other but neither of them would admit it.
“Come on, Lip, you’re telling me that you’ve never thought of asking Y/N out?” Ian asked.
They were smoking on their porch in the hot Chicago summer. Ian had the day off from work and Lip was still thinking up his latest scheme to make money fast.
“Y/N’s like a sister to me, you know. You don’t f—k your sister,” Lip said. “We aren’t royalty or anything.”
Ian laughed. “Well, I’m pretty sure Y/N’s thought of f—cking you, you can see it in her eyes.”
“Shut up.” Lip smacked Ian in the chest, making the ginger laugh.
“Oh, that hurt so bad. Can’t you hit harder, pussy?”
And that led to them wrestling jokingly, making Debbie roll her eyes inside and Carl begin cheering them on. Once they stopped (ie: when Ian pinned Lip down in their front yard), Lip sighed.
“For the record, I let you win.”
“Yeah, whatever.” Ian’s smile disappeared and he looked serious. “So, you’d really never consider getting with Y/N?”
Lip rolled his eyes and shoved Ian off of him. “If you’re so into her, why don’t you date her?” “Because I’m gay.”
“Oh yeah, use that excuse.” Lip took another long drag of his cigarette as he stood. “Look, Y/N’s a cool girl and stuff but I can’t see us being serious. I mean, we used to take baths together and I had the pleasure of being the only person with her when she first got her period. There’s too much history.”
As the words left his mouth, Lip knew he was lying to himself. He knew that he was madly in love with his best friend who somehow managed to be sweet but scrappy when it came to defending herself or any of the Gallaghers. Plus, there was the way she threw her head back when she laughed really hard, making her gorgeous y/h/c locks flow around her. Then, there was the way she’d scrunch up her nose whenever she was confused about a homework question. Plus, she was the one who first confronted him about Karen, telling him that he shouldn’t take her kind of bullsh-t anymore. Also, her y/e/c eyes would light up whenever she was staring out at Lake Michigan and she would jump whenever someone/something freaked her out.
Ian glanced behind Lip. “Too much history, huh?”
“Then you wouldn’t be too upset at the view behind you right now.”
Lip turned around and what he saw nearly made him drop his cigarette. Across the street, standing on the corner, was none other than Y/N smiling widely as she kissed Will Brooks.
“What’s she doing with him?” Lip asked.
“Well, Lip, it appears as though they’re making out. It probably has to do with the fact that she’s had a crush on him since second semester,” Ian said.
“How the f–k do you know all that?”
“Because I’m the gay friend she tells all this to,” Ian said. “And I can’t blame her. Will is the star of the basketball team, has muscles for days, and is the literal definition of tall, dark, and handsome.”
“He’s an idiot. He thought that a square should count as a rhombus in geometry,” Lip muttered.
“Someone sounds jealous,” Ian sang.
“Shut up,” he hissed.
But the green monster was making his blood boil as he watched Y/N laugh at something Will said before hitting his arm playfully. Her smile was beautiful and genuine, if only she was smiling that way for Lip. She kissed Will one last time before circling around him and heading down the street. However, Will didn’t let her get by before swatting her butt and making her jump. Lip could’ve strangled him right then and there.
“Lip, Ian, you are not going to believe what just happened!” Y/N said when she got up to them.
“You got syphilis from that idiot?” Lip asked.
Y/N frowned. “No, but Will did just take me out.”
“Where?” Ian smiled widely and crossed his arms just to spite Lip.
“He took me to lunch and then we walked along Navy Pier, just talking. Your advice worked, Ian!” Y/N squealed as she hugged him.
“Wait, you gave her advice on this?” Lip asked.
“It’s what the gay best friend does,” Ian said.
Y/N turned to Lip and frowned. “Why are you getting so upset about this?”
“Because you didn’t tell me about it.”
“I didn’t think you’d care if I went out with Will. It’s nothing serious.”
“But it might be. The Bulls are looking at Will to draft him. I hear he’s going to be Chicago’s Kobe Bryant.”
“This is the Bulls were talking about, Ian,” Lip said. “Besides, Will get a new girl every week, you should probably just forget about him.”
“For your information, Mr. Negative, we’re actually going out again tomorrow night. He got us Bulls tickets!” “Nosebleeds?” Lip asked.
“Nope, near the floor, center court!” Y/N grinned. “I can’t believe this is happening. I never thought that Will would ever notice me.”
“How could he not? You’re gorgeous,” Ian said.
“Just be careful, okay. I don’t like the guy.”
“You don’t like many guys, Lip. Besides, you should be happy for me. Who knows? Maybe one day I’ll get you court-side seats to see the Bulls.”
“No thanks, I’m good.” Lip threw his cigarette down and snuffed it out with his boot. “I’m gonna go take care of some business.”
“What business?” Y/N asked as she began following him down the sidewalk.
“My usual business with Kev,” Lip said.
Y/N’s eyes widened. “Lip, you can’t do that. You’re already high up on the cop’s radar, right behind Carl.”
“I’ve been doing this since we were fourteen, Y/N, I know what I’m doing.”
“But you getting arrested could f—k up your chances with MIT or U of Chicago or any other fancy school,” Y/N argued.
“Hey, why don’t you worry about what dress you’re gonna wear to see Will again and I’ll worry about my future, alright?” Lip snapped.
Y/N flinched at his words. They had had arguments before, but he never got this mean with her. “What’s your problem, Lip? Are you on the rag?”
“No, just leave me alone.”
“Fine, come around the block when you decide to stop being such a jackass,” Y/N said.
Though her words were sharp, she sounded hurt and it hurt Lip that he had hurt his best friend. As much as he wanted to admit why he was really angry with Y/N, he was too prideful and scared of her reaction to say anything.
For two weeks, Y/N didn’t come by to see the Gallaghers nor did Lip try to go up around the block to see her. Fiona, Ian, Debbie, Carl, Kev, and V did their best not to mention her name whenever Lip was around. But ever since their fight, Lip had begun drinking and smoking more. He was miserable. However, everything came to a head when Fiona confronted him one day.
“Alright, Lip, go talk to her,” Fiona said.
Lip was sitting in the kitchen, drinking coffee while Fiona and Debbie were making breakfast.
“You heard her, we’re sick of seeing you moping around all the time and drunk you is only so entertaining,” Debbie said.
“I don’t want to talk to her. Besides, the only person she’s interested in talking to is Will.” Lip spat out the boy’s name.
“That’s not true,” Ian said as he walked into the kitchen with Liam in his arms, “she talks to me all the time.”
“If I want to talk to her, I’ll talk to her, alright? Can we stop f—king talking about her?” Lip snapped.
Fiona set a plate of eggs and bacon in front of Lip and bent down to his level. “Lip, I know you’ve been in love with Y/N pretty much since the day you met and it must be killing you that you fought and that she’s with Will—”
“Will Brooks? He’s a babe,” Debbie said.
Fiona, Ian, and Lip collectively shot her a look that made her instantly regret her words.
Fiona sighed. “But you need to man up and talk to her. I know this is gonna be hard comin’ from me but I know love when I see it.”
Lip groaned. “She’s not gonna forgive me.”
“She will, we’ve all had to,” Ian said.
Lip playfully shoved him before taking a long swig of coffee. “I’ll be right back.”
“That’s my boy,” V said as she entered the kitchen from the rear entrance.
“Did you hear all of that?” Ian asked.
“For the most part. Please go talk to that girl, I’m sick of seeing you look more pissed off than usual.”
Lip laughed. “I will, see ya, V.”
As he left the house, Lip began going over everything he could possibly say to make everything up to Y/N.
“Hey, Y/N, I’m sorry for being a dick and getting pissed about you and Will. I’m sure the NBA accepts idiots too—no, can’t say that, she’ll get pissed that I insulted him. Y/N, I’m sorry for being a dick and I’m really happy for you and Will. Maybe the Bulls will start winning if he joins. Yeah, that’s better.” Lip paused. “Y/N, you probably hate me, but we have to talk…”
“I thought that only crazy people talked to themselves,” Mandy said as she strolled up to Lip.
“Oh, hey, Mandy,” he said.
She was wearing a tight black tank top and short denim cut offs. They had a short-lived fling but decided that they were better off as friends. Besides Ian and Lip, Mandy was Y/N’s closest friend.
“I’m guessing that you’re off to talk to Y/N,” Mandy said.
“Yeah, I said some real sh-tty stuff to her and she didn’t deserve it.”
“She never does,” Mandy said. “It’s just too bad about her and Will.”
Lip frowned. “What happened?”
“You didn’t hear? She found out that he’s been cheating on her ever since they got together. I offered to have my brothers beat him up for her, but she said it wasn’t worth it. I haven’t seen her around in a long time.”
“Yeah, so whatever you have to say to her, don’t f-ck up.”
As Lip walked away from Mandy, he was both elated and furious. He could beat Will’s face in for what he did to Y/N but at the same time, he was ecstatic that she was single again. Now he really had to perfect what he was gonna say.
“Y/N, I’m sorry about what happened between us. You didn’t deserve it and I was just being a dick. I’m also sorry about what happened between you and Will. He deserves to get the sh-t beat out of him.” Lip sighed. “And…and I got so mad about the whole Will thing because, you’re like a sister to me and I didn’t want to lose my sister or my friend…the friend I’ve been in love with since we were two.”
At this point, Lip was standing in front of the Y/L/N’s house. Mr. Y/L/N was most likely back at work in the loan office and Mrs. Y/L/N was off being a maid in the W Hotel. Whether or not Hailey was home was a bit of a toss up since she would skip class more than Lip did. The navy, two-story house seemed a lot bigger than it usually did and part of Lip wanted to turn around and run away.
“Don’t be a pussy,” he muttered.
He walked up the front steps and knocked on the door.
Seconds later, a dog was barking and Hailey was yelling at it.
“Geez!” she blew a piece of dark hair out of her eyes and narrowed them once she saw Lip. “Lip.”
The barking Rottweiler stopped when he saw Lip and began licking all over his face.
“Hi, Buster,” Lip said as he scratched the dog. “I’ve missed you.”
“Well, he’s missed you too, I don’t know if I can say the same for Y/N,” Hailey said.
Lip sighed as he straightened up. “Look, I know I f-cked up majorly with Y/N and I’m sorry. I just want to apologize and if she doesn’t want to be friends with me anymore, that’s fine, I’ll understand. Is she okay?”
Hailey’s e/c eyes softened slightly at Lip’s words but she kept a tense body language. “She’d be better off if that idiot hadn’t cheated on her weeks after she lost her best friend. But she’ll get through it, she’s tough.”
“I know, is she here?”
Hailey pursed her lips. “That Will guy might’ve hurt her but you really broke her heart, you know that, Gallagher?”
“I could kill you for how much you made her cry and then Will on top of that—” Hailey breathed.
“And I’ll do my best to never make her cry again. Believe me, the last thing I want is to hurt her.”
Lip hoped his sincerity showed through since Hailey was one of the most stubborn people when it came to protecting her family and doing what she thought was right.
“She went to the Symphony. They let her listen to the music from the entry way as long as she doesn’t disturb anyone.”
“Thanks, Hailey, I really appreciate it.”
The L couldn’t have operated any slower that day, which made Lip even more anxious. He began chain smoking, hoping it would help him think more, but it didn’t. It calmed him down a little, but he still had no idea what he was going to say to her. Fortunately, downtown wasn’t very crowded and it was easy for him to find his way to the Symphony. Sure enough, Y/N was sitting near one of the door, cross-legged, listening intently to the passionate music. She looked gorgeous though she was wearing a simple white summer dress that went off the shoulders. Her hair was twisted up into a pretty bun on top of her head and her back was facing Lip.
He carefully walked up to her, his mind racing with words.
“Mind if I join you?” Y/N gestured for him to sit without turning away from the door. Her eyes were puffy and he could tell that she had been crying.
“Oh, right, sorry.” Lip managed to say quiet for five more seconds before saying, “no, you know what, f-ck the music, you can get this sh–t on YouTube or iTunes. We need to talk.”
“Keep your voice down or we’ll get kicked out,” Y/N said quietly.
“Fine, but at least look at me when I talk?” Y/N hesitated before turning to Lip. “Talk.”
Lip paused. Everything he had rehearsed seem to leave his mind. “You’re beautiful.”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “Go away, Lip.”
“No, I’m serious. Even though that a—hole made you cry and did all that to you, you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Always have been.”
There was a long pause between them but Y/N looked stunned.
“Is that all you have to say to me?”
“No, I’m sorry about what happened between us. I shouldn’t have gotten so pissed off about you and that jerk.”
“You were a real jackass,” Y/N muttered.
“I know, and you didn’t deserve that. And I’m sorry about what happened—-no, you know what, f-ck that, I’m not sorry. He didn’t deserve to be with you because you are amazing and sweet and talented and tough and strong. He doesn’t deserve to breathe the same air as you and neither do I.”
Y/N looked stunned but suddenly looked dejected. “If I’m all those things, why did he cheat on me with Ashley Opperman, Jane Henkins, Mariah Little, Penny Gilbert, Vanessa Langley, and Iman Ashton?”
“Because he’s an idiot who’s probably trying to get the clap if he got anywhere near Vanessa Langley,” Lip said.
Y/N smiled. “I think she’s had ever STD under the sun besides AIDs.”
Lip smiled. “I’m so sorry about everything that happened between us, Y/N. Is there any way you could forgive me?” Y/N jokingly tapped her finger against her chin. “If you teach me how make things explode using that fancy technical vocabulary, maybe.”
“And you help me pass my ACT.”
“And you come to my piano concerts.”
“I already do.”
“Then you’ll have to play something less boring.”
They jokingly shook hands before Y/N wrapped her arms around Lip and basically fell into his lap. He immediately pulled her close, inhaling her sweet scent.
“I’ve missed this,” she whispered.
“I love you.”
They both froze. Lip couldn’t have said that any less smoothly if he tried. He couldn’t believe that he had blurted it out like that.
Y/N pulled away slowly and looked at him with wide eyes. “Lip?”
“I’ve loved you since we first met and I fell in love with you around the same time, I think. It drove me crazy seeing you with Will and I’m sorry I was so mean to you. If you don’t feel the same way then—”
Lip was cut off as Y/N pressed her lips against his. He immediately pulled her closer as he kissed back. All those emotions they had for the past sixteen years came out in that exchange. They were so caught up they not only forgot where they were but also that they would need to pull away for air.
“Eh hem.” An elderly security guard looked at them with distaste.
“What’s your problem?” Lip asked.
“Sorry, Ivan, we’ll be leaving now.”
“No, that’s fine, Y/N, just try to ease up on all of that.” Ivan gestured to their current position.
“You got it, Ivan.”
He wandered away and Lip pulled Y/N into him again.
“So, I’m guessing you like me too?”
“No, I love you, I thought as smart as you are, you would’ve caught onto that when we were at least four,” Y/N teased.
“Well, I’m smart enough to never let you go again.”
And that was how after many years, Lip Gallagher ended up with the girl from around the block.
Request: for the anon who asked for a “Reid x reader where they are both in the BAU and are in love with each other but haven’t confessed. Reader thinks Reid is in love with Maeve (or someone else, totally up to you) so starts to distance herself and then Spencer confronts her and they both give this romantic, fluffy confession.”
A/N: Ok wow. This one has been sitting in the inbox for quite awhile and I feel bad about that. Finals really burnt me out and then I feel into the worse writing slump that I’ve ever had, but I’m happy to have finished this one and hopefully the slump might be ending! Anyways, this one is probably a smidgen more angsty than I intended for it to be, but it’s cute and fluffy at the end I promise! I hope you enjoy!
Warnings: honestly other than some angst and maybe one curse word, there’s nothing to warn you about
Word Count: 2.5k
“No! It has nothing to do with that,” Spencer laughed, resting the phone between his shoulder and head, trying to do his paperwork while continuing his conversation. You sighed in frustration and stirred more coffee into your coffee. You’d joined the BAU team almost two years ago and had immediately clicked with all of the team members, particularly Spencer. Friendship had led to inevitable feelings for you, but there was one problem. You’d fallen into the friend-zone. This was breaking your heart. (Not Spencer being happy of course, that was the only good thing that had come out of all of this situation.) It was the cause of that happiness that was the source of your loathing. Maeve. Spencer had confided in you about her months ago, when you’d noticed him disappearing four hours a few times a week. You know what, it was fine when she was some disembodied voice on a telephone, but when she became a real person who the team had worked their asses off to bring back from an abduction alive it was your worst nightmare. That was when you’d realized he was in love with her.
“(Y/N)!”, JJ said waving a hand in front of your face. You snapped out of the trance you hadn’t realized you’d fallen into and shook your head.
“What’s up, Jayje?” you asked plastering a fake smile on your face.
“Just bringing you more of those transfer forms that you were asking for,” she replied placing the stack of paperwork on your desk. “So, you’re really doing this huh?” she commented, leaning against her chair.
“I’ll call you back,” Spencer said quickly hanging up the phone.
“What’s going?” he asked leaning forward to gain you and JJ’s attention.
“Late for meeting Morgan at the gym, so you’ll have to excuse me,” you said cutting her off as you stood up. “Not a word,” you muttered in her ear. “Have a nice day, JJ. Reid,” you replied curtly before making a b-line for the elevator. Spencer flinched at the short tone you had used with him and glanced at the stack of papers on your desk.
“JJ, what was that about?”
“(Y/N) asked me not to say,” she mumbled, smoothing out her skirt and collected the finished report from the last case that was sitting on your desk.
“I’m not talking about this transfer or whatever it is you two are doing,” he said, crossing over to her, “I’m talking about why she has been giving me the cold shoulder.”
“Spence she’s not-”
“Please don’t lie to me,” he pleaded, “I just want to know what awful thing I did to make my best friend hate me.”
“Best friend or girl you are secretly in love with?” JJ asked before she could stop herself.
“That’s not fair,” Spencer snapped, looking down.
“Well, my question is still valid although you seem to have found someone who sparks your interest more these days”
“Maeve is just a friend. How many times do I have to say that?”
“A friend who you can’t go one day without talking to for at least an hour?”
“I value her opinion.”
“There used to be someone else’s opinion you valued above everyone’s and she’s not going to be around much longer,” JJ hinted, subtly trying to clue him in without explicitly telling him.
“JJ, what are you talking about?”
“Spence, I love you. You know I do, but this is something that you are going to have figure out for yourself or you are going to lose one of the best things that ever happened to you,” she replied, before walking back to her office leaving Spencer standing in the middle of the bullpen more confused than when the conversation started.
“Hey there Pretty Girl,” Morgan called as you strolled into the gym.
“Hey hot stuff, sorry I’m late. I had to discuss something with JJ and then change,” you explained, dropping your gym bag by the door. You’d swapped your usual work attire for a loose tank top, cropped yoga pants, and your Nikes.
“Not a problem, I’ve got the whole afternoon open,” he replied, leaning against the wall. You laughed and stretched your arms over your head. Other than Spencer, you considered Morgan to be your best friend. “So you gonna tell me what this is really about?”
“Time for a little brush up on hand to hand. The last case was a little too close for comfort,” you lied. In reality, you were looking for an outlet to take out some aggression.
“Uh huh,” Morgan muttered, clearly unconvinced.
“Ready? Go,” you said lunging for him in an attempt to derail his train of thought. Derek knew you too well and simply side stepped. You turned on a dime and swung your leg toward his knees. He caught your foot in his hand and shoved you backward. You and Derek had been sparring together since you joined the team, and in that time you’d only beaten him once. In your current distracted state, you had no chance of winning. You steadied yourself and kicked again, this time swinging your leg up to strike his face.
“So you asking for a transfer has nothing to do with Reid hanging around Maeve?” His question made you freeze up, foot stopping right next to his face, instead of following through.
“What?” you demanded, still frozen.
“Your ‘oh so secret transfer’, does it or does it not have something to do with Reid,” he asked, pushing your foot down to the ground.
“How do you know about that?”
“Did you really think Penelope wouldn’t tell me?”
“I didn’t think she would see it until it was too late,” you grumbled, crossing your arms.
“How long has Hotch been sitting on that paperwork?”
“The first part, a week. I just turned in the rest of it earlier and I guarantee he’s going to hold it as long as he can or until I force him to file it. He’s not happy about this.”
“I don’t blame him. The team is losing a damn good agent and profiler,” Derek replied.
“The team will be fine,” you insisted, grabbing your bag from where you’d dropped it, “Don’t try to talk me out of this, I’ve already made up my mind.”
“(Y/N), no one wants you to go but we want you to be happy,” he said walking over to you. “I’m just questioning whether or not this will make you happy.”
“I’m happy. It’s just time for a change,” you said slinging your bag over your shoulder. “I have to go.”
“In more ways than one it would seem,” Derek replied, tugging you into his arms, “if you do this, I’m gonna miss you, Pretty girl.”
“I’ll miss you too,” you told him sincerely squeezing his muscular form, “but there is no if. I’m doing this.” You strode out of the gym, shoulders only slumping slightly as you questioned your decision. You sprinted to your car and drove like mad to get home. You were desperate to shake that little seed of doubt that Derek had planted in your mind about your decision before it had time to take root. “Oreo,” you called to your kitty as you opened your apartment door, “I’m sorry I’m late. Are you hungry?” you spoke as you passed through the entry but froze. Spencer was sitting on your couch with your cat curled up in his lap, just purring away. A bowl of popcorn and two beers had been casually placed on your coffee table, while Doctor Who played in the background. “Um, Spence?” you muttered, mentally kicking yourself for giving him the spare key to your apartment. The sound of your voice finally caused him to look up from the book.
“Oh (Y/N), hi,” he said closing the book and setting it on the back of the couch.
“What are you doing?” you asked, dropping your gym bag and purse on the ground before heading to the kitchen to start dinner for yourself.
“Well, I thought since we have the day off tomorrow, maybe we could do movie night?” he asked glancing over at you.
“Movie night?” you snorted, “We only do that when one of us is upset.” You shifted your weight from foot to foot as you filled a pan with water, and you could feel him staring at you. “I’m fine.”
“Clearly you’re not,” he insisted, getting up and walking to the kitchen much to Oreo’s chagrin. She pouted as she hopped up on the counter and sat by her food bowl. You shook your head at her before filling the bowl. “You’re upset about something, there’s talk of some kind of transfer, and on top of all that you’re avoiding me.”
“I am not,” you mumbled, setting the pot down on the cooktop, “I’m just working some stuff out.”
“C’mon (Y/N), I know you. You don’t do anything without getting other people’s opinions.”
“Spencer, you are the smartest person I know. So why don’t you use that big genius brain of yours, to put all that information together and figure out why I wouldn’t tell anyone,” you said turning to face him. He scrunched his eyebrows up together and you watched as the realization washed over his face.
“Probably,” you muttered, grabbing a box of spaghetti out of the pantry.
“Why? When? Where?” he asked, trying to deal with the new information.
“Sex crimes,” you replied, breaking the spaghetti over the pot, “Remember Hotch leant me to them a month ago. Before I left, Agent Tyler told me if I ever was done with BAU there’d be a job open for me in his department and I’ve decided it’s time to move on.”
“But why? I don’t understand. You were happy until like a month ago,” he said, running a hand through his hair.
“A lot can change in a month,” you mumbled, reaching over and smoothing a hand over Oreo’s fur.
“Don’t do that,” Spencer groaned, snatching your hand, “Don’t shut me out when I’m just trying to understand-”
“Well, this is one thing you can understand,” you insisted.
“Then explain it to me.”
“Why? You just said that I’m the smartest person you know.”
“Spencer, please. I am trying not to hurt you.”
“You’re already hurting me by shutting me out, so just say it!”
“I’m in love with you, damn it,” you shouted, tearing your hand away from him and wrapping both arms around yourself. Spencer froze and just stared at you. There was no way that those words had come out of your mouth, no way. Right?
“What did you say?” he asked hesitantly.
“I’m in love with you,” you repeated still hugging yourself, “and watching you fall in love with someone else is slowly killing me. I can’t do it anymore. You wanted to know, so there it is laid out plain as day. I know it’s my own fault for falling in love with my best friend who could never possibly into me that way, but I did and now that’s something that I’m going to have to deal with. I’m-” you were trying to explain but were abruptly cut off when Spencer took your face in his hands and pressed your lips together. It was your turn to freeze be confused. You settled into the kiss after a few seconds and wrapped your arms around his neck. “I don’t understand,” you muttered as you both pulled away to get some air.
“Well, I thought that would have cleared some things up,” Spencer chuckled, pressing his lips against your forehead, “but I didn’t just come here to have movie night. I came here to tell you something that I should’ve told you a long time ago, and now that you’ve expressed a positive sentiment about me this will go much more smoothly for me.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Well, to put it plainly, a few of our coworkers knocked some sense into me in regards to feeling but JJ really hit the nail on the head. She made it obvious that I was being a coward. I was content to watch the girl that had dazzled me and ensnared my heart from the moment I met her go about her life and make connections with other people without ever stepping up and going after what I wanted. Her. I did a lot of thinking this afternoon, and I realized that she was right. I had sat by and watched you live life, date other people, have fun, while I sat on the sidelines content that if I couldn’t be with you the way I wanted to be that I could still be in your life. I could live with that, but what I can’t do is be without you in my life. You make me a better person, inspire me to do things I never would’ve dreamed of doing, listen to me when I ramble or blurt out facts, and so many other wonderful things. I’m in love with you (Y/N) (Y/L/N). I am whole heartedly and undeniably in love with you. So, here I am laying my heart out for you and hoping that, if you’ll have me, you’d be willing to hold onto that heart even though you’ve already had it for quite some time,” he replied, holding you close, smoothing a hand over your cheek and wiping away a tear that had fallen from you eye. You were speechless the confession was so beautiful. Without a second thought, you crashed your lips into his and tangled a hand in his hair. He responded immediately, arms tightening around your waist. “I’m hoping that’s a yes,” he chuckled as you parted again.
“Well duh,” you giggled and tried to stop the happy tears from running down your face as you brushed the hair away from his face. “I’m sorry I’m crying, I’m just really happy.”
“Happy tears are good.”
“I thought you and Maeve were-”
“Ah yes, that. When it first started, I think she and I were both actually considering a relationship of the romantic variety but we both realized that we were trying to replace other people who we were actually in love with,” he explained.
“Well, I- oh crap.”
“I guess I should call Hotch to see if I can cancel that transfer.”
“I think you’re safe.”
“I think Hotch hasn’t actually filed the forms yet. Penelope was snooping through the files on his computer when she found the email.”
“Well, everythign seems to have worked itself out,” you chirped happily, “and seeing as you’re here, still want to do movie night?”
“Absolutely, but first. These are for you,” Spencer said producing a bouquet of flowers from the sleeve of his cardigan.
“How did you do that?” you laughed, taking the flowers and setting them in the vase on the counter.
“A magician never reveals his secrets.”
“How on earth did I get so lucky to have you in my life?”
“I ask myself that question every single day,” Spencer admitted and kissed you again.
Honda do not deserve Fernando Alonso, in any series.
They have done nothing but let him down and waste his talent.
I hope he gets out as soon as possible and never looks back. Change teams, change series, whatever he wants to do, next season or tomorrow as far as I’m concerned. I don’t care how much they pay him, it’s not worth what they’ve done to him, again and again.
How does Louis only have 29,000 subscribers on YouTube? I blame his team
1) his team linked to the wrong account in his newsletter
2) his team didn’t link his youtube channel on his website when it was first updated with the countdown, which is when most fans went to look at the site, and instead waited hours and hours and hours to add it
3) his team didn’t get it verified until like 24 hours after posting the link
You know it’s so funny how people will get pissed at Tony for shooting Sam after he watched his friend go down, but yet none of them want to realize that Tony went there to keep them all from getting killed? Like Tony didn’t even kill Sam after seeing that, he just made sure he was down so that he could bring him in.
And don’t give me that “Sam would’ve went in peacefully” BS, you don’t know that for sure.
Then you all want to say that Tony blamed Sam for it but no you are wrong. At the end of Civil War, Rhodey has to tell Tony that it wasn’t his fault because get this, TONY BLAMED HIMSELF FOR SOMETHING THAT HE HAD NO POWER OVER.
but it’s so cringey that steve’s team is out here shading louis’s team. i don’t even blame them is the thing, but you KNOW there’s a problem when ½ of the collaboration’s manager is liking fan tweets about the lack of participation from the other ½ of the collab’s management. it’s just not good and it makes me so mad that this is a thing that’s actually happening…. because louis’s team…. is actively screwing him over…. like what even is this? how is this permissible? who is holding crusty & friends accountable? how is this real oh my gosh they are literally screwing him over so bad. not just him but steve and everyone else involved how….is….this….real….
it's interesting how people are only saying they'll boycott the episode because there is no magnus in it but the same people are not saying shit about LUKE not being in the episode? we don't even know if magnus isn't gonna be in the episode? maybe he'll only have one scene (and even if he doesn't .. 2x15 is a magnus centric ep so?? chill?!) but we KNOW luke isn't in it .. but people don't care about that, do they? same way the don't care about this episode being simon centric .. okay then 😐😐😐
okay let me say this first IN NO WAY AM I DEFENDING HENRY.THAT GUY IS MESSED UP AND VILE.
i’m giving another perspective on this incident.
i don’t think only henry is at fault, but the whole production team involved in this project. usually the directors think of the whole scenario of how the episode goes, so maybe it could have been the directors idea but i guess we will never know. let’s say that it’s totally henry’s idea. usually when they film projects like these, there are at least 20-30 staff members there. THEY COULD HAVE STOPPED THIS FROM HAPPENING, but no they let it go as if it was alright. sm usually double checks this stuff and they could’ve stopped it before they released it. they just had to cut out those scenes and it was alright.
LET ME REPEAT!!!
in no way am i defending this guy; he is messed up and has done some crazy shit in the past. a he should and will get consequences for his actions. this time i don’t think ONLY henry is to blame but the WHOLE production team. i think BOTH henry and the production team should face the consequences together
Archie how do you feel if I told you on a nuzlocke I played, you and your grunts killer like 8 of my Pokémon And one of them was a water type and nearly killed my water type starter! Do you hate other people's Pokémon or what? This ask was from another Pokémon dimension so if there's words missing possibly that and how do you guys even hear us in the first place! Is it the work of Colress or some weird stalker or the cops with a bug on this system to hunt your location? (Some one take my thing)
As fer the second part of your question, the Silver lad’s the one who’s been handing them out. Where he’s been getting ‘em from, yeh best be askin’ him.
It’s April 27th. It was precisely a year ago -and- a day ago (I forgot to post this yesterday xD) I created my blog and got my frist notes on tumblr. I remember being at a friend’s house at that time, and getting a overly excited for reaching 70 notes on this fanart overnight <3.
This place has been hell. But mostly Valhalla ;) No matter if I got a scar due to the drama last year, the HTTYD community gave me reasons to smile and laugh. It is you who I have to thank, no matter if you are a distant admirer, a silent follower, a regular reblogger, or a crazy mutual <3 c:
Thank you for sticking with my possibly annoying appearance, haha :D
