i better not comment on that yet ;)

What I love most about Finn continuing to wear Poes jacket is imagining it still has a gaping slash from the lightsaber wound but it doesn’t matter because like hell is he ever letting go of the jacket.

Everyone at the Resistance Base knows better than to comment on it, but one day a new recruit makes the mistake of asking why Finn wears such a ratty old jacket. Everyone in the mess hall silently groans as Finn launches into his classic speech yet again.

“You don’t know a thing about me. Where I’ve been. What I’ve seen. How amazing my boyfriend is. Kyle Ron tried to separate us once and I stabbed him in the fucking shoulder.”

Body Positive Parenting

“How to talk to your daughter about her body, step one: Don’t talk to your daughter about her body, except to teach her how it works.

Don’t say anything if she’s lost weight. Don’t say anything if she’s gained weight.

If you think your daughter’s body looks amazing, don’t say that. Here are some things you can say instead:

"You look so healthy!” is a great one.

Or how about, “You’re looking so strong.”

“I can see how happy you are – you’re glowing.”

Better yet, compliment her on something that has nothing to do with her body.

Don’t comment on other women’s bodies either. Nope. Not a single comment, not a nice one or a mean one.

Teach her about kindness towards others, but also kindness towards yourself.

Don’t you dare talk about how much you hate your body in front of your daughter, or talk about your new diet. In fact, don’t go on a diet in front of your daughter. Buy healthy food. Cook healthy meals. But don’t say, “I’m not eating carbs right now.” Your daughter should never think that carbs are evil, because shame over what you eat only leads to shame about yourself.

Encourage your daughter to run because it makes her feel less stressed. Encourage your daughter to climb mountains because there is nowhere better to explore your spirituality than the peak of the universe. Encourage your daughter to surf, or rock climb, or mountain bike because it scares her and that’s a good thing sometimes.

Help your daughter love soccer or rowing or hockey because sports make her a better leader and a more confident woman. Explain that no matter how old you get, you’ll never stop needing good teamwork. Never make her play a sport she isn’t absolutely in love with.

Prove to your daughter that women don’t need men to move their furniture.

Teach your daughter how to cook kale.

Teach your daughter how to bake chocolate cake made with six sticks of butter.

Pass on your own mom’s recipe for Christmas morning coffee cake. Pass on your love of being outside.

Maybe you and your daughter both have thick thighs or wide ribcages. It’s easy to hate these non-size zero body parts. Don’t. Tell your daughter that with her legs she can run a marathon if she wants to, and her ribcage is nothing but a carrying case for strong lungs. She can scream and she can sing and she can lift up the world, if she wants.

Remind your daughter that the best thing she can do with her body is to use it to mobilize her beautiful soul.“

It amaze,s but not surprises, how much vitriolic opposition that the most simplest, bare bones show on social issues and racism like MTV decoded gets. Literally it doesn’t bash anyone, it tries to inform people and make them more decent  and empathetic human beings. And yet the comments are disgusting and they get thousands of dislikes.

Imagine dressing up as female Joker for Halloween and Jensen, your boyfriend, dressing up as male Harley Quinn for all your fans.

A/N: I planned on having this on Halloween but I forgot so yeah, anyway.

“So this is on, right? Right.” you cleared your throat, fixing your phone and walking backwards so that that everybody that was watching the live-stream could take a better view of you and what you were wearing.

“Hello everybody, I don’t know if I should expect lots of you to be here on Halloween night, watching yet another boring live-stream of mine-” you chuckled, smiling warmly when you saw the sweet comments from the fans “Well, to those of you that are still here and that have been dying to know what I was going to dress up as this Halloween-” you paused for a second, smiling as you saw Jensen make a face behind your phone.

“Ayway-” you cleared your throat, giving him a look “-As it was so very obvious from all those questions on twitter and tumblr- here I am! Going full Joker on you!” you grinned, your red lipstick making it all the more sadistic.

“For me, Jared’s Joker is definitely hard to overcome but this is Halloween and if my best friend wants to compete- Here I am Leto!” you grinned laughing “But you know I am not just going to go all alone- although I already am not-” you chuckled, placing a hand over your just-showing belly “I think I certainly have something Jared didn’t.” you laughed, a small chuckle being heard behind the phone.

You squinted at your phone and giggled at all the comments the fans sent you “Well, it really is Jensen yes. And as I was saying, I am not going alone but I will have more company as with every CW Halloween party.”

“Now some of you may be wondering what could he possibly be dressed up but- why just tell you instead of show you? Come here, Ackles. Or should I say Quinn?”

“Maybe the latter puddin.” Jensen smiled widely, kissing your cheek as he came into view and it didn’t take but a few second for the hearts and emojis to start flying, not to mention the comments.

“I bet not many saw that coming huh?” he laughed, wrapping an arm around your waist.

“No definitely not. I guess it was all thanks to that fanart I saw after all huh? Do you guys like the result?” you turned to your phone, holding onto his chin “I certainly do.”

“Oh not as much as I do!” he smiled “Tell you, if she wasn’t already pregnant there would definitely be one coming after tonight.” he chuckled and you laughed, hiding your face at the crook of his neck.

“Keep it PG rated please.” you giggled as he laughed, giving you a small squeeze.

“Not possible, puddin.” he grinned down at you as you scoffed.

“We certainly are not the usual kind of Joker and Harley as you notice!” you spoke to the camera.

“But to me we are the best ones there are out there.”

We see lots of images of Ciel sleeping, all snuggled up in his giant bed in a down comforter. And we all comment on how innocent he looks, how the contrast between what he does during waking hours and how he sleeps is so striking that we are breath-taken.

And yet, I wonder. How can Ciel possibly sleep at night? We know he used to have terrible nightmares, but we almost never see that happening now. I suppose it could be that Sebastian has enchanted him in some way to sleep better, but I doubt it. I am curious as to how he can sleep with so much blood on his hands, with so much decay and death and anguish around him.

If he were an innocent boy, worthy of saving from the darkness, worthy of rehabilitation, worthy to be called victim, would he not be tormented by the cries of all those he has killed or at least ordered to be killed?

Or perhaps he can sleep now BECAUSE of all the blood on his hands. Perhaps the warmth, the feel of that blood soothes him. This is a boy with no conscience. This is a boy who will only be satisfied with more blood until all of it has been shed in his name, for the sake of his revenge. I believe that his nightmares are calmed all the more for every tick mark that his body count rises.

Is that not the very essence of a villain?

I used to like Sakura but Karin proved to be better than her. Karin had better reasons to love sasuke. She was abused as a child and seeing sasuke smile gave her a warmth. Sakura had a privileged af childhood and only fell in love with sasuke due to his status and looks. It upsets me how desperate Sakura is to be with him. She didn't even know his character (unlike naruto) and yet she was contemplating who to save a criminal (which is what she/everyone else besides naruto believes) vs naruto

“And only fell in love with Sasuke due to his status and looks”

Yeah, I’m no longer gonna waste my time putting effort into answering anyone else who still believes this nonsense. I’ve deconstructed this ignorant comment time and time again and can’t be asked to do it anymore. So I’m just gonna give a bunch of statements, since that’s all this warrants.

  • Karin didn’t have better reasons for loving Sasuke, they both wanted to see him smile again.
  • I have no idea where on earth you got the idea that Sakura’s childhood was “privileged”. Just because she didn’t experience the same type of emotional trauma as some of the other characters doesn’t mean that she was privileged.
  • It upsets me how desperate some people can be to prove that Sakura’s aim was to be with Sasuke, when it was proven time and time again that this wasn’t a goal of hers.
  • You don’t want to get into a discussion with me regarding how well Sakura “knew” Sasuke.
  • The fact of the matter is, Sasuke was a criminal. Whether or not Naruto refused to acknowledge him as such doesn’t make him a better person or a better match for Sasuke; it’s simply acknowledging the truth.
  • When did she ever “contemplate” who to save between the two of them? That literally never happened.

It’s nice that SPN acknowledged that it’s okay to need…

Are you willing to consider this from another perspective? I haven’t seen it yet obviously, but to me it is clear that this a direct response to Dean’s reaction when Mary left. And he was obviously NOT willing to give her that space, was actually by her need for space and needed to maybe understand this again to see it was not personal? I am often with you on the Dean defense team but this time…I honestly don’t see him being slighted at all.

I would be perfectly happy to see it from another perspective if this episode didn’t exist within the context of the entire show, which is full of examples of Dean learning to let other people leave/take a break/ask for some space, while never getting the chance to do so himself, at least not without the narrative framing it as wrong. (Take a look at @deadendtracks‘ excellent meta that shows this pattern really well.)

As to your point about this being a way to help Dean feel better about Mary’s departure and about himself by coming to understand that it wasn’t personal, that it wasn’t about Dean (and Sam) not being enough, but about Mary needing some time to adjust – yes, I love that idea. But this message could have been delivered in a billion different ways. For starters, Mary didn’t need to outright compare her real sons to their fake Heaven versions, and she didn’t need to make it sound like the real versions came second in that comparison…

I realize that I’m being oversensitive about this, but I’m tired of Dean being taught to give everyone space and to be understanding of everyone’s struggles, and not getting the same treatment in return. Yes, Mary’s reasons for leaving are valid. But Dean’s reasons for feeling hurt and betrayed are valid too.

TL;DR: If I had only seen this episode of SPN, I would agree with you all the way. But given my previous experiences with the show’s narrative, this “Dean learns his lesson, is asked to repeat it to Sam and gets a pat on the back for getting it right, and even gets a treat in the form of a text message from Mary” thing is honestly making me a little sick.

They’re around their fifteen’s when Eleven first notices something that hadn’t quite caught her attention until then. And even if it’s nothing too great, it’s definitely something new. She starts seeing Nancy, although very rarely, in some well known sets of stripped sweaters every now and then.

“Oh yeah, she walked into my room this morning begging for it, saying it matched her new skirt perfectly…” Is the answer Mike gives the first time she makes a curious comment about it. “I didn’t mind.” He shrugged

Eleven was still growing accustomed to the whole concept of families and siblings, Will and Jonathan were undoubtedly a warm welcome into her new life with the Byers but even so, there were still many factors she had yet to work out about their dynamics and boundaries. And just as always, what better source of knowledge than sweet Mike Wheeler?

“Does she borrow your clothes often?” El is more than fascinated with this new discovery.

“Not really… My clothes were too small for her until recently… And she only likes maybe two or three things in my wardrobe… Luckily.” Is all he says

“Oh…” Eleven stays thoughtful for a minute “Do you borrow her clothes too?”

“What? No! No… Of course not. If I did that… I mean– Maybe once or twice I used one of her scarves or… Her socks but nothing past that.” And for some reason out of her reasoning, Mike seems embarrassed at the mentioning of that.

It doesn’t take longer than a couple days until Jonathan takes her and Will to a lake nearby to enjoy the view and feed the ducks while he’s taking some photographs. Then the weather drops low and the sky begins to darken when suddenly the light blue sweater El had thrown over herself back at home is no longer enough to fight the chilly breeze, Jonathan casually throws his pretty much huge jacket over his sister’s shoulders after noticing her shivering, and Eleven is too relieved for new source of warmth, although heavy and oversized, to even feel alien in it. Later at home when she hands it back is when her mind wander back to her previous conversation with Mike; and El comes to simple conclusions that siblings sharing clothes is a natural and yet fascinating thing.

So with time she starts incorporating some of Will’s shirts into her outfits for school, Lucas and Dustin never have enough of Mike’s jealous red face and teasing the hell out of it.

That does stops being a problem with time though, when the five move together to an apartment during college and all lines of personal belongings are thrown by the window. El eventually reasons that these boys must be her family as well after all.

Im still not on the Sam/MM train. Sam made it known he in GA but still posted nothing about his supposed GF who was probably a bridesmaid-dolled up to the nines. Yet his costar goes to the GG..how many times did he comment on her dress/looks? Maybe you could equate that to a supportive costar if he was just as complimentary to his supposed gf. But why make it known you're there then not comment on anything? No pics of them together. Nothing. I think he went as a friend, hope he had a great time.

for some reason, this made me feel slightly better so thanks anon. I hope we get more clarity on all this soon. I’m way past my BS tolerance threshold.

Listen yixing may still be in exo but it is no longer beneficial to him or his career u nasties he doesnt need exo but he stays because he likes being in exo (n also maybe he dont want some long ass legal battle but anyways) he could actually be better off without exo, making more money, having a bigger career but YET he still there so get out of my feed with ur comments abt him leaving he aint going no where bitch
