“Okay, I didn’t know what you meant by taking off your pants, but now I clearly do,” Jenna burst out laughing as you all entered into the restaurant and took a seat. “Goodness gracious you guys.”

“I bet you were staring,” Tyler smirked. “I’m sure you were.”

“Shut up,” she rolled her eyes as you all sat at a table, opening up the menus.

“You’re all dressed awfully fancy tonight. I assume you all just got back from the Grammys. Twenty One Pilots, right?” the waiter smiled.

“That’s us,” Tyler grinned proudly.

“Sweet,” the waiter beamed. “Anything I can get you guys at the moment? Drinks?”

“Yeah that sounds good,” Jenna nodded. You had all decided to go out for a celebratory meal after the awards. You had settled on a nice Mexican restaurant, not too fancy, but not too casual either.

“Hey,” Josh nudged you beside him. “Check your phone.”

“Why?” you stared at him, confused.

“Just do it, baby,” he insisted.

“Fine,” you sighed, picking up your phone but your expression slowly fading away into uncomfortableness as you read the text he had just sent you.

J: Did you like what you saw on stage tonight?
Y/N: Fucking behave. We’re at dinner.

You glared at him and he turned his head away, acting unfazed.

J: Answer the question.
Y/N: You know I always like what I see when I’m staring at you
J: Yeah but how did you feel?
Y/N: Wdym?
J: All those people staring at me, all those fans probably lusting over me, and you there, watching me tug down my pants…

“Hey!” Jenna snapped. “He’s asking you what you want to drink.”

“Huh?” both you and Josh looked up from your phones, turning red, staring at the waiter.

“Anything to drink?” he raised an eyebrow.

“Oh, uh yeah,” you stammered out. Josh just looked at you, pretending as if nothing had happened. The waiter took your drink order and walked away, Tyler striking up a conversation about some of the performances.

“What if you guys performed?” Jenna laughed. “You think you’d bring the hamster ball and giant confetti canon to the Grammy’s?”

“Oh I’m sure we would figure something out,” Tyler nodded. You felt your phone buzz in your lap and you shot Josh a glare before opening it.

J: Stop leaving questions unanswered babe
Y/N: Stop texting me dirty things and actually pay attention to the conversation
J: I am
Y/N: Jenna and Tyler invited us here to celebrate, not to be antisocial
J: Answer the question
Y/N: Fine, sure. I was turned on. Is that what you wanted to hear?

“Don’t you think, y/n?” Jenna wondered and you flickered your eyes up, completely lost in what they were talking about. There was a second of silence before she hinted you on. “We’d get the drum kits and just make the crowd hold them up?”

“Oh definitely,” you gave a fake laugh before glancing down at your phone again, angry and annoyed at Josh’s attempts.

J: How turned on?
Y/N: I might be turned on but I’m about ready to turn my phone off if you keep this shit up
J: I’m not even doing anything
Y/N: Sure…
J: You wouldn’t dare
Y/n: Watch me
J: Don’t

“You guys, okay? You seem pretty distracted,” Tyler finally brought up the obvious.

“Just a lot of people congratulating us,” Josh shrugged. “Sorry, it’s probably not the appropriate time for this.”

“You’re right,” you quickly agreed. “I say we turn our phones off for the rest of the dinner.”

“Smart idea,” Jenna smiled at the proposition, but you caught Josh giving you a death stare beside you. You quickly shut off your phone and put it face down on the table, watching as Josh slowly did the same.

“You’ll be sorry you did that,” Josh murmured under his breath, just enough for you to realize. You swallowed uncomfortably, trying to ignore his comments. What was he so worked up about anyways? Geez.

“Do you think we’ll get invited back?” Tyler joked.

“Most likely,” Jenna nodded. “You guys are so talented. You’re bound to win another.”

“Then we’ve got to take it up a notch,” Tyler decided. “What’s more attention grabbing than standing up there in our underwear?”

“Oh I’m sure you two could think of plenty of things,” Jenna chuckled softly. Your hand was laying in your lap when you felt Josh lay his hand on top of yours underneath the table. You drew in a sharp breath and Tyler gave you an uncertain glance for a second before dismissing it, and you exhaled, trying to ignore it. Maybe he was just trying to hold hands.

“We’ll go streaking next Grammys!” Tyler cried.

“No way,” Jenna shook her head, stifling her laughter. “Not on my watch.”

“I bet y/n would love to see that,” Josh smirked and you narrowed your eyes, apparent you didn’t find his humor amusing. You felt him grab ahold of your wrist underneath the table, lifting your hand off your lap and moving it towards his leg, then down, resting your hand right over his crotch, his hard on becoming extremely obvious. Shit, of course he’d pull something like this. Especially now without the texting. He laid his hand on top of yours again, pressing down and your felt your cheeks turn red, trying to act nonchalant as you were being guided on how to grope him underneath the table.

“You okay, y/n?” Jenna softened her eyes. “You look sort of uh…”

“I’m fine,” you shook your head. “I think I just need to use the restroom and clear my mind for a little bit. I think I’m a little dizzy from the Grammys, all those people and the lights and noise and stuff.”

“Okay, take care of yourself sweetie,” Jenna replied. “We’ll be here when you come back.” You tried to get up but Josh grabbed your arm, grip tight around your wrist. You tugged several times but he wouldn’t let go until finally you swiveled your arm out of his grasp and snatched your phone off the table, marching off to find the bathroom. Of course, when you got in, there were several texts from Josh. So much for the not using the phones thing.

J: Get your ass out here right now.
Y/N: I don’t know what the fuck is up with you tonight
J: You know exactly what’s up with me, stop playing stupid
Y/N: I don’t know if it’s just cause you won a Grammy so you think you can be cocky and all, but you’re acting like a total dick, Josh
J: I just want you baby
Y/N: You’re the one who said yes to dinner!
J: You’re the one who said no to texting
Y/N: And look where that led us
J: We can always ditch
Y/N: Shut up, that’d be so rude. Jenna and Tyler have been nothing but nice tonight
J: I just really want to fuck you, I saw you in that dress when we walked in the restaurant and maybe it’s the lighting or just the adrenaline rush from being on the stage or me taking my pants off earlier, but I really need this right now baby
Y/N: I know I want it too
J: Then please
Y/N: After dinner
J: During dinner
Y/N: No
J: Fine. Either way come out right now. Jenna’s getting worried and she’s gonna check up on you if you don’t show soon.
Y/N: If I come out, will you behave?
J: Sure
Y/N: See you soon
J: Love youuu
Y/N: Love you too, dimwit

You took a deep breath and collected yourself before heading back to the table and sliding in the seat beside Josh, plastering a smile on your face. “You feeling better, honey?” Jenna wondered.

“Yeah I’m doing just fi-” you couldn’t help but stop midsentence as Josh put a hand on your upper thigh, resting it there above the fabric of your dress. “Fine. I’m doing fine.”

“Okay…” Jenna shrugged.

“Did you feel sick?” Tyler frowned, looking worried and concerned. “I think Jenna has some painkillers in her purse if you need it.”

“I’m fine, r-EALLY,” your voice wavered as Josh tugged up the fabric of your dress to your waist, both your legs bare and exposed underneath the table. Fuck.

“You sure?” Tyler insisted, sensing something was off.

“Yeah, honessssssssssst,” you reassured, ignoring the way your voice dragged out at the end when Josh’s thumb dipped underneath the waistband of your underwear and slid the fabric down your legs to above your knees.

“Just relax, sweetheart,” Josh reassured, sly smile on his face only you could detect. Hell, and to think Tyler and Jenna thought he was being sweet. You bit down on your lower lip hard when you felt Josh’s fingers brush past your clit and rest against your folds.

“Who’s ready for some appetizers?” the waiter wondered, smile on his face as he approached.

As soon as you were about to answer Josh’s fingers pushed into you and you let out a moan, everyone at the table turning their attention towards you. “Ohhhh those sound delicious,” you tried to recover. “Mmm god, appetizers? That just sounds so, oh fuck-” Josh began to pump his fingers in and out of you, staring at you above the table as if nothing was even going on. “I’m so hungry. Appetizers, hell yeah.” You were doing such a shitty job at covering up your act but it was the best alternative you could think of at the moment. Your legs were starting to shake and you could barely speak.

“Someone’s um, particularly hype for appetizers,” Tyler commented.

“I love me some good fooooood,” you moaned the last part as Josh curled his fingers inside of you, hitting your g-spot. “Shit, food is so great. Damn.”

“Someone really likes food,” the waiter chuckled, looking confused and uncomfortable, almost everyone unable to understand what your problem was.

“Come on baby,” Josh prodded. “Why don’t you order something?”

“Sure,” you glanced at him, noticing the way he was trying so hard to suppress a smirk, then flickered your eyes back to the menu. You attempted to cross your legs in hopes of Josh quitting it but he only rammed his fingers deeper inside of you and you gasped in your seat, Tyler and Jenna whipping their heads towards you.

“Okay, spill it,” Jenna demanded. “What’s wrong?”

“Something’s wrong?” the waiter softened his expression. “Uh, is there anything I can do to help?”

“I just think I need to get some fresh air,” you shook your head. “Josh, um, why don’t you come out with me for a little bit?”

“Sure,” Josh agreed slowly. “Whatever you say, babe.” He slowly drew his fingers out from inside you and you took the opportunity to slide up your panties and tug down your dress, then grabbed Josh’s hand with a tight grip and basically dragged him out the door.

“You’re fucking dead,” you hissed, tugging him outside and to the back of the restaurant.

“What do you mean?” he raised his eyebrows, acting innocent. “I didn’t do anything.”

“Shut the fuck up,” you demanded, tugging him to a place without windows or cars or pedestrians and quickly surveying the area before crashing your lips on his, pushing him back into the wall of the restaurant, slamming his body against yours and grinding yourself down on him. Your sloppy, messy, desperate kisses became more heated and you finally pulled away, staring into his eyes. “Don’t pull that shit during dinner ever again. I hate you.”

“You fucking love me,” he rolled his eyes. “You know you were just as turned on as I was, baby.”

“I still am,” you murmured, tilting your head back as he sucked on your neck, his lips trailing down your skin.

“Dammit you look so good in this dress,” he sighed. He traced the outlines of your body with his palms, sliding them down your figure, resting at your hips when you took a step away. “Where you going baby?”

“To dinner,” you snapped. “To behave.”

“You’re going to leave me like this?” he frowned, disappointed. “Come on, I’m dying here and I’ve already tried everything.”

“Listen up, Joshua,” you sighed, walking closer and poking a finger in his chest, glaring up at him. You leaned in close, remaining eye contact, lowering your voice to a whisper. “When we get home, you are going to get in that bedroom with me, and you’re going to receive another big award with yours pants off. But that’s never going to happen unless you behave, understand?”

“I like the sound of that,” he smirked.

“Good,” you decided. “Now come with me and let’s order some fucking appetizers.”

drabble: public thrills

so i was going over some stuff in my head last night and this idea just sort of came up so i figured i’d type up a kinda longer drabble/shorter story for you guys. maybe like a precursor to something more with this one. even though this is josh/reader/tyler it’s not part of hourglass. i just thought i’d give yall something fun.

You had lost Tyler and Josh somewhere by the vibrators, as they mentioned they were looking for something to get you for your birthday; you laughed it off, assuming they were just being their normal, teasing selves. But as you examine a pair of fuzzy pink handcuffs, you feel an arm snake around your waist, pulling you flush against a body with a very apparent erection.

Preferences - How They Would Comfort You (TVD Guys)

I apologise completely for my inactivity guys but this is a preference and it can be guys and girls from either show about anything you like if you wanted to request xxxx

Damon Salvatore

Damon is a real dick and as we all know, he’s not the most sensitive person but if he really cared about you, he would do everything he could to make you feel better. He would just hold you, try and make you laugh “What do you get when you cross a vampire with snow? Frostbite!”, let you rant and hit him if you needed to. He would compliment you and tell you everything you needed to hear and more than anything, he would be there in case you needed anything.

Stefan Salvatore

Stefan is so sweet and kind and I think that what he’d be really good at is understanding. He’d get that you’re having a hard time and he’d use that to try and help you. He’d just let you sit there in silence or even let you cry on his shoulder and he’d hold you close and hug you so tightly and just whisper to you. “Everything is going to be alright, I promise.”

Jeremy Gilbert

Jeremy could write a book on how to deal with heartache. He’s lost so many people time and time again that he’s got used to the dull ache of that hurt. He’d be so understanding and I think he’d sit with you and tell you stories and if you needed it, you could lie in his arms and he’d let you sleep and he’d keep you protected even though he’d know that there’s nothing he can do. After a while, he’d try and make you smile through video games or something stupid just to take your mind off of things. “You bet your ass I can beat you at MarioKart”

Tyler Lockwood

Tyler is an impulsive guy and he would hate to not be able to help you. He would do anything he could, unable to sit there and do nothing. He’d hold you and talk to you. “Hey, hey it’s okay, there’s no need for tears, don’t cry.” He’d want to make you smile and would offer to do so many things and even make jokes about himself being a dog. He’d be desperate for you to be okay and happy because his happiness relies so heavily on yours.

Matt Donovan

Matt is just like everyone else you’ve ever met except for the fact that he knows about the supernatural and that means he’d want to protect you anyway. So when you need comfort, he’d go into super protective mode and want to hurt anyone that hurt you. Nevertheless, he wouldn’t be able to stop many things that would hurt you and would then try and comfort you by holding your hand and letting you talk about whatever you wanted.

Alaric Saltzman

Alaric would probably be more like a father. He’d hug you and feel guilty that he couldn’t protect you but he’d kiss your forehead and tell you that everything would alright no matter how bad it seems. He’s kind of an expert on tragedy so he’d really understand and help you any way he knew how whether that’s letting you rant to him or giving you something to hit.

Kai Parker

Kai wouldn’t understand. He’d see that you were upset but he wouldn’t get why. What he would do, though, is try to make you feel better, regardless of how that may be. He’d try and make you smile by cracking jokes or hurting someone you hate and if that didn’t work, I think he’d hug you and say something like ‘In movies they do this sometimes’. He’d hold you and tell you crappy stories and though it would suck, it would totally help because he just wants to help.

Enzo St.John

Enzo knows heartache and one thing he knows better than most is hopelessness and he’d do anything he could to stop you from feeling that way. A part of him would definitely think that he’s let you down somehow by not protecting you. He would hold you and let you do whatever you needed to. He’d try and make you smile too and when you eventually do he’d be so happy. 'There it is! It’d be a shame if the world was rid of a smile as beautiful as yours sweetheart’. He’d just be the best, caring for you and comforting you no matter what the problem was.

we went to a grocery store to buy tons of junk food because we were going on a trip and stuff and i saw a guy wearing a twenty one pilots t-shirt and i screamed inside my head. i wanted to say hi or make a top sign using my fingers but i kinda just stared at him. (and he looked like he was about ten years older than me sooooo)

Tyler and dimes

tyler-apocalypse-scheid  asked:

OKAY BUT I was just sitting here, watching the video of Tyler sneaking on Mark and I was just thinking, I bet Tyler is one of those people who pulls really small pranks that like aren't even pranks on people and thinks is the funniest thing ever. like he would tape down marks mouse or something and Mark is all like "what the heck..." and Tyler is just dying. idk i just wanted to share my thoughts

He totally would, that goober, but it would be all stuff that can’t hurt people and is easily fixable, like taping the mouse down.

But he’s super bull headed so if someone else tried to prank him he’d probably get grumpy, silly boi.

Tyler Joseph Fic Part 4

This is the last part to my Tyler Joseph fic that I have yet to name, hope you guys enjoyed it xx.

Christmas morning came and went in what felt like an instant.  Tyler always said the holiday should be a week-long event, because it always felt like a lot of hype and excitement that just ended way too suddenly.

Tyler was starting to feel guilty for lying to his family, but at the same time, he couldn’t help but be grateful that he did. If he hadn’t spun the web about Y/N, the last few days wouldn’t have happened, and Tyler would have gone on continuing to stubbornly dislike her. Maybe Tyler would tell his family the truth in the future, but not today.

On Tyler and Y/N’s last day in Columbus, Josh called, inviting the two of them over for the afternoon.  When Tyler looked to Y/N for a yes or no, she nodded her head excitedly.

Despite how close by Josh lived, the two of them still opted to take Tyler’s car to avoid walking in the blistering cold.

“I feel kinda bad that we barely saw him at the party,” Y/N admits.

“Oh don’t worry, Zach told me that he ended up leaving early.  Apparently he had plans with this girl named Debby,” He made air quotes around Debby’s name and chuckled.

“Wait,” she said, “What’s with the quotes?”

Tyler burst out laughing, “There’s absolutely no way,” he said, “Josh’s supposedly been seeing this girl for month and I’ve never met her. He showed me a picture of her one time,” he added with a shrug. “But I’m pretty sure it was just a selfie he stole off of some random model’s instagram account.”

Y/N let out an obnoxious snort, followed by a fit of laughter.  She covered her mouth with her hand and doubled over in the front seat.   Now that Tyler was giving her a second chance, he found that he thought pretty much everything about her was adorable, especially the things he once found annoying. Tyler used to roll his eyes at the stupid way she laughed, but now it seemed endearing and kinda funny.

“Maybe we should set him up with someone!” she suggested, face lighting up in excitement. “Does he prefer a specific type or is he flexible?  Because I know a friend of mine mentioned a friend of hers who—”

“No,” Tyler interrupted. “We aren’t setting him up with anyone. That’s how people end up with fake girlfriends in the first place.”

“Worked out okay for us, didn’t it though?” she asked. She winked at Tyler, but still looked anxious for affirmation, like she still wasn’t positive Tyler was actually giving her a second chance.

Tyler smiled at her. “I’d say so, yeah.”

—–

The ride back to Chicago was much more enjoyable than the ride from.  Tyler thought it might have something to do with the fact that he no longer despised his passenger, but there was no telling for sure.

Even though the ride was less dreadful, the two of them were both still exhausted by the time they pulled into the lot of the apartment building.

They lugged their bags up the stairs in silence, only stopping when they got to Y/N’s door.

“What a weird trip,” she said, smirking.

Tyler nodded in agreement.  It felt weird to be dropping her off at her door after spending the past three nights in the same room together.

“Thanks for inviting me though, I really did have a good time.”

Tyler nodded. “Yeah, anytime I guess,” he said awkwardly.   He wasn’t really sure what the protocol was for dropping your fake-girlfriend off at her door after a weekend spent together. “I guess I’ll see you around?”

She nods while opening her door.

Tyler starts to walk towards his own door when she calls out to him.

“Hey Ty?”

“Hm?” he says, turning around instantly.

“Mark’s throwing this New Year’s party at his place.  I wasn’t going to go, but I thought with you, it might be fun.  Would you maybe want to go with me?”

Tyler smiles.  “It’s a date.”

—–

The week flew by in a blur of work, sleep, and Tyler panicking about his first official date with Y/N.  He knew he shouldn’t be nervous.  He’d spent three entire days with her for Christ’s sake.  But this felt different.

“What should I wear?” he asked Josh over the phone on the day of the party. “Maybe a sweater? Keep it casual?  Or maybe it’s a fancier party and I should dress up a bit?  Should I ask her?  Oh and should I bring a gift?  I bet other people are bringing gifts.”

“Tyler,” Josh sighed, “You need to relax.”

“I am relaxed Joshua,” he snaps.

“She invited me, you know?”

“What?” Tyler asks.

“Y/N invited me and Debby to the New Year’s party.”

“You and Debby?  It’s not even her party…”

“I know, that’s what I said.  But she told me she checked with that dude, what’s his name? Matt?”

“Mark.”

“Right, Mark.  She checked with Mark and he said it was cool. She told me that she knew I was your best friend, and she wanted me to be there if it meant you’d have a good time.”

Tyler’s chest deflated a bit and he let out a heavy sigh.

“She said that?”

Josh hums in response.  “She did.  She likes you man… A lot.  So just relax, okay?”

Tyler nods before his face breaks out into a huge grin, “Wait a minute… Are you coming to the party then?”

“That’s the plan.  As long as I can crash as your place.”

“And are you bringing Debby?” Tyler sneers.

“She’s going to see if she can get work off, but hopefully, yeah.”

“Can’t wait to meet her, bro,” Tyler says, his voice thick with sarcasm.  He still wasn’t convinced that she was real, but he didn’t comment any further.

When it came time for the party, Tyler texted Y/N, just to make sure she was ready.  Her response came moments later with her telling him to get his butt next door, respectfully.  He smiled at her intensity and grabbed his coat.

He knocked an odd little rhythm on the door before stepping back.  He waited, bouncing lighting on his heels before he heard footsteps and an off voice call, “Coming!” from inside.  Suddenly, there were knots in his stomach again.

When Y/N opened the door, her face immediately broke out in an immense grin.

“Hey there,” he said, smiling back. “You look great.”

He surveyed her outfit.  Simple.  Dark jeans and a black, knit sweater.  But he meant it.  She looked incredible.

“Thanks,” she said, closing the door behind her and clutching her purse to her chest.  “You ready to party?”

“I was born ready,” he snickered, extending his arm for her to take.  She side-eyed him, but willingly took his gesture.

“It’s still strange— you showing affection when there’s no one around to impress.”

“Well, you never know when they might be watching,” Tyler teased as he led the way down the stairs and out of the building.

Mark only lived a few blocks away, so the two of them decided it would probably be easier just to walk over.  There was a small dusting on the ground, but nothing that couldn’t be trudged through.

“I heard you invited Josh,” he says.

She looks up, looking guilty, “I hope you’re not mad.  I didn’t want to overstep— I just thought you might like it if he was there.”

Tyler waves his hand like he was swatting away her nonsense.

“Good,” she says smiling at the ground, “I also kinda wanted to see if his girlfriend was real or not.”

Tyler laughs out loud, pleased with her deviance.  “I knew there was a reason I liked you.”

The party was already bustling with people by the time Tyler and Y/N arrived.  They saw the lights flashing from the outside window on their way in, and the noise only increased the closer that they got.

“Mark’s in media, he knows a lot of people,” she explains.

When they get to his door, Y/N doesn’t even knock before pushing her way inside.

Tyler is initially speechless at the size of Mark’s apartment.  Even with the crowds of people hanging around, the place looked huge.

“I should add that Mark’s very successful in media,” she says after taking one look at Tyler’s gawking face.

She takes his hand and drags him inside, right in the midst of the madness.

Tyler finds himself third wheeling most of the night.  Y/N knows, quite literally, everyone at the party.  She pulls Tyler around, introducing him to people above the loud music before dragging on to the next group.  He wonders if this was how she felt at his family party.

“No fucking way—“ he says suddenly.  A puff of pink hair comes into view and Tyler nearly chokes once he sees the pretty blonde attached to his side.

Tyler turns and nudges Y/N’s shoulder excitedly.

When she catches wave of what he’s looking at her face lights up and she laughs.

“Holy shit!”

The two of them make their way over to Josh and his date with smug looks plastered over their faces.

“Josh!” Tyler calls, breaking free from the crowd and hugging him.

“Hey man,” Josh says, giving him a pat on the back.  Once they’re done, he moves in to hug Y/N.  He squeezes lightly before backing off and putting his arm around the girl.

“Tyler, Y/N, this is Debby… my girlfriend.”

Tyler wishes he could wipe the shit eating grin off from his face, but he can’t, so instead, he plays it off as just being over-friendly and rolls with it.

Tyler finds himself having more fun than he thought.  A few drinks and introductions later, and he’s started a beer pong game with Josh as his partner, versus two guys he barely knew.

With only ten minutes until midnight and the New Year, Y/N sneaks up on Tyler and grabs his hand.

“Hey, come with me,” she says.

Tyler notices the bottle of wine in her hand and looks at her questionably.

“Where are you going?”

“Just common.”

Tyler lets her lead him across the room blindly.  He’s buzzed and happy and frankly, he’d follow her anywhere at this point.

He stops in his tracks when she reaches the sliding door leading to Mark’s balcony and smirks.

“Well? Are you coming?” she asks as she steps outside.

The air is brisk, but when Tyler looks up at the sky, he gasps at how clear it is outside.

“Look at the stars,” he mumbles, gazing at the thousands of shimmering speckles across the sky.

“I thought you’d like that,” she whispers, passing him the bottle of wine.

Tyler takes a swig and the two of them pass it back and forth, settling in on the ground with their legs dangling over the balcony and just staring up.

Only when they hear the music die down inside and the countdown begin do they look back at each other.

“Ten!” they call from inside.

Tyler meets Y/N’s eyes.

“Nine!”

They were shining beautifully in the moonlight.

“Eight!”

He feels the familiar butterflies return to their place in his stomach.

“Seven!”

She’s smiling at him.

“Six!”

It’s wide enough to make her eyes crinkle.

“Five!”

He’d never seen laughter lines so sweet.

“Four!”

He’s anticipating what’s about to happen.

“Three!”

He bites his tongue.

“Two!”

He leans in.

“One!”

Tyler presses his lips to hers with intent.  He scoots himself closer so that he can cup her chin, where he strokes the skin softly with his thumb.  Their lips move in unison and he only vaguely hears the crowd cheering “Happy New Year!” in the back.

When he finally pulls away, he can feel his cheeks growing red, but he immediately decides that he can just play that off as the cold’s fault.

She smiles back at him sweetly and whispers, “Happy New Year, Tyler,” before turning to look back up at the stars.

Tyler can’t help but stare at her instead, because man, she was so beautiful. And in all honesty, this time… he wanted to take his time figuring her out. There was still so much to learn about her, but he knew that something about them felt right.

“What are you thinking about?” she asked, eyeing him after clearly noticing him staring.

Tyler sighs softly, meeting her gaze and smiling softly, “You.”
