i beg on knees

A bystander noticed my spotting laser, and threw herself between me and the target. She couldn’t see me, but she stared me down.

Irikah Krios aka “sunset eyes defiant in the scope”
Who has that kind of courage? She was a bystander, she didn’t know the target. Thane could have killed her right away. But she stared him down and he believed her to be a goddess. He fell on his knees and begged her to forgive him.
I love her so much for this.

And it’s one story but it has an entire world behind it, which is definitely ME2’s strength. I just really would have loved to see her and other female drell.

every animorphs book
  • chapter 1: my name is jake. I can't tell you my real name, because I'm the leader of a special group of kids... we're called the Animorphs. Because we morph into animals and fight aliens.
  • chapter 16: 'god, please don't do this,' i begged on my knees. Visser Three had all of my loved ones hanging from his claws in his multi-armed alien morph and was slowly squeezing the life out of them. 'you must either choose them, jake, or the rest of your planet.' i couldn't take it. i started to morph into a cockroach.
  • chapter 23: as i felt my own brain slither down my throat and into my torso to reform into my digestive system, my bones also began to dissolve into dust inside my skin. my eyes shrunk back into my skull and i could see into eternity- i could see my own mind, taken over by the yeerk. i had already taken my last breath as a free creature, now i saw my last vision as a being of this dimension. suddenly, i was gone. and my parents would never even know i had died. was saving the world worth this? i wondered, if anyone on this planet could be forced to prioritize one life over another, what choice would they make? how can any decision be right, or wrong? i closed my mind off, and fell into eternal sleep, my last echoes of thought being of how humanity continued to live on, but not truly alive.
  • chapter 26: 'hey, bro, wanna go to mc d's and grab some fries?' marco asked, riding by on his skateboard. 'yeah, that'd be totally radical!' i answered, whipping out my own razor scooter. as i pulled a nasty kickflip, i felt eyes watching me. turning around, i saw my own dog, and thought of the horrible truth only i knew. we went to the mall to get big macs. it was a good day to not be dead.

“The one I loved most was my last son. My other children were even jealous of our attachment. When he was very young, he would hang out the window and call to me as I left for the office. And when I arrived, I would find his toys in my briefcase. We remained close as he grew older. He was the one who always called me. He was always checking on me. He was always taking me to lunch. But then one day I went to the bank, and a lot of my money was missing. He had been stealing from me. He was falsifying my signature. When I confronted him, he begged on his knees for forgiveness. Then I started getting phone calls. He owed money to people who were threatening to kill him. I went into the slums to find the loan sharks and pay off his debts. I paid them all, with interest. I used to wear nice clothes. I used to have a nice apartment. Now I’m left with nothing but my pension. And my credit is ruined. I sold all my belongings and I’m hiding from him. When I go to sleep at night, I wonder how he is doing. I wonder if he is safe. But I can’t see him. Because if I see him, I will help him again.”

I watched as an Aquarius fell to her knees and begged for someone else to come back into her life. Seeing this side of her is something new to me. She always had her head and shoulders up and carried herself proudly, and “No” was not part of her vocabulary. She was known to be strong and proud, but to see her walls break it’s just a mess.

I got a call from an Aries asking to get picked up at a party. Watched her as she got in and started to ramble on about her night. Her boyfriend cheated on her and she laughed it off and told me it was his lost. A couple minutes in the ride; she stared out of the window and started to cry. “What’s wrong with me..” she turned and asked me with tears streaming down her face.

A Cancer invited me out for dinner and I arrived at the spot. She eagerly ran to me and jumped into my arms, she hugged me so tightly and then slowly let go and led me to the dinner table. We laughed and joked for hours. She was so vibrant and she cling to every word I’ve said the whole night. She didn’t want the night to be over. I told her I was heading back to watch some movies on Netflix. She invited herself over.

A Capricorn gently placed her hand in mine. A small smile on her face and our eyes met. The train’s sound went away and the crowds felt nonexistent. She slowly leaned her head on my shoulder and pulled herself closer to me. She was gentle and she was calm.

A Gemini called me asking for advice: “The only problem is that I am free. I don’t feel like I’m being smothered by these feelings, and I have no time for this. How can I even deal with this?” She asked and asked, and the more she asked the more she realized her answer. She doesn’t want to feel too pressured, no restraints like the wind.

A Leo placed her hands on my cheeks and and looked me in the eyes: “You did this to yourself. You lost me because you can’t do one simple thing, and that was for you to not like pictures other than mine.” She had a stern look on her face and she slowly push my face away and left me, standing. She turned back and had this smile on her face. “You lost someone who was willing to do everything in her power for you..” and never came back.

A Libra held the bouqet of flowers I sent her and she smiled like so happily, like a child getting their favorite gift on Christmas. She was so giddy and she was so happy, that she kissed me passionately and stared back at the flowers at awe.

A Pisces came into my life and drowned me with such passion and romance. Everything felt like a fairytale. She dreamt of things that were so unreal, but to her, she was going to make it all come true.

A Sagittarius never left my side when I was going through a tough time. She was always there when you least expect it, and that was her way of showing how much she cared for me. She was always saying these smart things which were true, but I was too stubborn to listen to her; yet she continues to preach and demand that I start something new for myself.

A Scorpio was on the phone with me a couple nights back spilling some hard problems to swallow. She loved this man. She was torn, she was lost. She has never felt like this for anyone before and she was scared. I’ve known her for years and to see her scared was something new.

A Taurus dragged me all around the downtown. We went to the mall, an abandoned building, a beautiful house, a music store, a sex shop and last a diner downtown. She finally explained as to why she brought me along with her and why she felt the need to show me. These were the places she finds herself in and who she is and each one she based it off as her as a whole. She laughed and told me how silly it was of her to do so, and I told her she was amazing for that. She blushed and asked if I was being serious. I was. She expects me to show her reflections of me around the city.

A Virgo sat me with on the couch and we talked for hours and hours to no end. We laughed and smoked, and drank coffee. She slowly shifted herself to me and she kissed me, softly. I watched her and she smiled. She said, “Look at me. Do you see what you’re doing to me. I have never felt this way before and you coming into my life means a lot to me.. I hope you will never change because I won’t. Let’s continue to grow as one, and please, don’t you ever leave me..“

“Why did you come here when you knew I’d only send you away?”
“I thought I made it clear I didn’t want to see you.”

“Why haven’t you left me yet?”
“The things I would do for you terrify me.”
“Nobody likes a tyrant. Show the people you can be reasoned with.”
“Your people will only tolerate so much.”
“If you want to ruin your life, be my guest, but leave me out of it.”
“Can’t you touch anything without breaking it?”
“Please don’t leave me. Please.”
“I’m sorry. I’ll do anything.”
“My life was grey before I met you. Now it’s so colourful I can barely stand it.”
“I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“I’d do anything for you. I’d kill, lie, cheat and steal for you. You wouldn’t even need to ask.”
“For the purposes of tonight, you and I will be taking on certain roles. You are not to break character under any circumstances lest you blow our cover, is that understood?”
“I am not here to make friends. I am here to offer you something you cannot refuse.”
“You don’t have to play coy with me - what do you really want?”
“You really fucked me over, you know. You really messed me up.”
“You piss me off so much sometimes I can barely stand it.”
“Why are you like this? Why do you have to ruin everything?”
“You really would do anything for me, wouldn’t you?”
“I like the way you beg, boy.”
“Do you drop to your knees for everyone that shows you attention, or am I a special case?”
“Shh, it’s okay. I know how much you need this. I know how much you want to be wanted.”
“I can think of better uses for that mouth of yours than back-talking me.”
“Just let go. It’s alright, I’ve got you.”
“Don’t talk. Just open your mouth.”
“Tell me what you want from me.”

Tick-tock. Tick-tock. Tick-tock.

I felt as if time was going slower than usual. I’d been standing in the foyer, at the bottom of the staircase, for nearly thirty minutes. She was late.  The rest of the Court was on their way to the ball already, Elain having whispered good luck to me on her way out the door, arm in arm with Azriel.

At this point, I wasn’t sure if her good luck was meant to be a warning for whatever mood Nesta was in, or if it was because she knew I’d be waiting on her sister for an ungodly amount of time. But, as the door on the second floor of the townhouse creaked open, all my anxiety faded. And when she came around the corner, all my complaints vanished.

Her hair was up, braided in a crown around the top of her head. Her gown was long, trailing the wooden floorboards behind her, the color of the Velaris sky just before the sun began to rise.

She was half way down the stairs when her eyes found mine, and she froze, her pink lips parting, slightly.

I held my hand out to her. “See something you like?”

Blue-gray eyes rolled.

Moment over.

“I’ve never seen you in anything other than rags, is all,” she stated, continuing her walk until she met me in the foyer. “And you bathed, which is always shocking.”

My smirk made her roll her eyes, again. “I clean up well. Don’t act so surprised.”

And cleaned up, I did. Feyre actually suggested that I wore the tailored pants and the light grey button down. I drew the line at the tie and the shoes, however. So, I kept the top button loose and wore my boots. Nesta’s eyes scanned my hair, which was knotted at the back of my head, then my chest, then my waist where my shirt was perfectly tucked. Then-

“Are those your training boots?” she raised an eyebrow.

As I glanced down at my dusty, black leather boots, Nesta breathed out a laugh.

Shrugging, I held out my hand, “Shall we?”

Her fingers grazed mine, but she didn’t move. The same ecstasy that I felt every time Nesta’s body made contact with mine consumed me, the feeling that I dreamed about, that I thought about constantly and could never get enough of. That feeling of ecstasy was my weakness, my downfall, my greatest accomplishment, my addiction.

“You look beautiful,” i said, brushing a stray strand of golden-brown hair behind her ear.

She opened her mouth, then closed her lips into a thin line before opening them again,

“When are we supposed to be there?” she whispered, running her fingers down my forearm.

I glanced at the clock. “Ten minutes ago.”

She sucked in a breath as I took a step closer. “And ten minutes more?”

A grin spread across my lips before I could stop it. “Wouldn’t hurt.”

In my time with Nesta, I could honestly say that she never ceased to amaze me. I was constantly surprised by her – by her wit, by her knowledge, by her hidden kindness, by her talents, by the way she knew how to use her hands just the right way along every inch of my body.

Now was no exception.

She didn’t waste time dragging me upstairs before she slid her finger along the inside of my wing, just behind my shoulder blade. She knew what she was doing. She knew I was about to drop to my knees and beg for all she had to give me. She knew, and she enjoyed watching me in awe of her beauty.

She pushed me back against the leather couch and straddled my lap. With one hand running up her thigh, underneath the thin skirts of her evening gown, and the other trailing up her back to find the ribbon that held everything in place, our lips met in a soft, slow, tender embrace.

It was a dance, the way her tongue brushed mine every time we kissed, how she somehow managed to naturally make my hips move along with hers. I had been with many women, but none of them compared to her. None of them compared with the human who stole from the Cauldron, from the Fae that comforted me as death surrounded us both. None of them compared to the female who could make a suriel stop in its tracks, who could take away my fears and anxieties with just a simple smile. None of them had made me feel so unworthy, so alive. None of them were Nesta Archeron, and I never wanted to taste, feel, love anyone but her.

Her eyes stared into mine as she unbuttoned my shirt, one by one. I finally managed to find the ribbon tied neatly into a bow at the small of her back and yanked, allowing the dress to fall down to her waist.

Her back straightened as I took her in, the same body I had witnessed day after day and only grew to love more every damn time.

My shirt had been pushed down my arms before I cupped her breasts, and ran my tongue along her bottom lip, up her jawbone, and nipped at her earlobe.

She shuddered as she unzipped my trousers and her small, delicate hand found me in no small, delicate way at all. My head fell back against the cushions as she took control, her name a whisper that had found its way into the moans escaping my open lips.

Before I could get too excited, she rose from her place on my lap and let her gown fall to the crimson rug. She watched me as my eyes slid from her toes, up, slowly, until they reached her own, and she grinned.

I watched her as she turned from me, as she walked calmly up the stairs. She glanced at me, once, when she reached the landing of the second floor then continued down the hallway.

I waited a few seconds before I pushed off by boots, and sprinted to the upper level.

She was waiting for me in the doorway of her bedroom, a soft giggle the only sound in the otherwise silent townhouse.

“Tease,” I mumbled, as my lips pressed into hers and I lifted her up by her waist, her long, slender legs wrapping around my lower back.

“You like it.”

I could not disagree as her lips found my neck and I was completely undone.

Dainty feet pushed down my trousers until they were nothing more than a limp piece of fabric at the foot of the bed, just after I laid her down, her head resting on the pillow she’d stole from my room a month ago.

The first gasp would get me every time. The gasp she made when I would first enter her, gently, urgently. The gasp that told me that’s what she wanted, that’s what she’d been waiting for, that I could still satisfy her after all this time. I lived for that gasp, that expression on her ethereal face of pure adrenaline.

Making love to Nesta was like being with someone who was not of this world. She was demanding, yet generous, she was confident, yet awestruck, she was quiet and cunning, yet moaned my name continuously as if she could not get close enough to me. We were one in the same. I couldn’t tell where her body ended and mine began, and I didn’t want to. It was not a meaningless act of lust, but a dance that was only perfected when two people who were meant for one another found each other.  It was like nothing I had ever experienced before, and something I wanted to experience for as long as I lived.

We lied there, breathless, her head lying on my damp chest when the clock struck midnight.

She cursed, and I laughed at the sound of vulgarity coming from her proper mouth. We had been too busy talking, too busy exploring one another to join the others.

“What will we tell them?” she asked.

“I’ll tell them you couldn’t keep your hands off me,” my hand ran down her backside as she chastised me, which only made me laugh harder.

“You make me happy,” she said, quietly, after the sound of laughter and heavy breathing faded into nothingness.

I kissed her forehead, softly, as I pulled her blankets up to our waists and wrapped my wings around her. “You give me life, Nesta Archeron.”

Come Home (Newt Scamander x Reader)

The winner of the Newt Vs. Steve contest. Hope you enjoy!

He sat across from you at the kitchen table in your small London flat. You lazily stirred a spoon in your cold tea, watching as he eagerly read a letter from New York; more specifically, a girl from New York. Tina Goldstein to be exact.

You knew by the glimmer in his green eyes that he was going to leave, most likely due to her requesting his presence in America. You knew that she was beginning to take a spot in his heart that was supposed to be meant for only you, and you didn’t know how to accept that.

“You look happy,” you noted, setting your spoon on the table as Newt lowered the letter. A grin had formed on his face, his eyes crinkled at the corners as he sat back in his squeaky chair.

“I guess I am,” he beamed, his smile remained bright as his eyes found yours.

“Care to elaborate?” You questioned, leaning back in your own chair while crossing your arms over your chest.

“It looks like I’m returning to New York again!” He exclaimed gleefully. “Tina located a few Bowtruckles and wants me to take them in! I can’t put into words how excited I am to return; there was so much I wanted to do last time and-“

“Am I going with you?” You interrupted his wild speech after noticing that he was only mentioning things that he wanted to do. Newt’s grin faltered and he moved foward to grasp onto your hand; you allowed him to and watched him carefully.

“I don’t think it would be best,” he told you. He didn’t look the least bit bothered by the fact that you wouldn’t be joining him. “Tina is only expecting me, and I have to leave first thing in the morning, she even sent a ticket for the boat-”

“How considerate,” you snapped, pulling your hand out of his roughly. Newt looked shocked at your sudden action.

“This is a great opportunity, Y/N, don’t be mad at me,” he seethed, watching as you stood up to place your cup in the sink. You stood with your back to him when you began to speak again.

“I don’t understand how you can think I would be okay with you leaving me behind!” You said, voice shaking from anger. “I work with you and the creatures, Newt, this is my life! And suddenly you want to leave me behind?”

“You know that’s not true,” he protested, rising from his seat. “But I don’t always need you to be there; the creatures and I will be fine for a few weeks in New York without you!”

“I’m glad to hear that you don’t need me,” you stated, turning to face him with glassy eyes. He couldn’t feel any kind of remorse for bringing you to tears; there had once been a time where he would have been a mess at the sight of you crying.

“What do you want me to say? I’m perfectly capable of doing things without you! I’m getting the Bowtruckles and coming back here to you, Y/N.”

“Don’t you dare try to convince me that I’m not the one who has your heart anymore!” You yelled, voice cracking. Newt jumped, his jaw dropping slightly as his heart began to feel heavy. “You’re in love with someone else, Newt. She’s in New York, and I’m not her.”

“Y/N,” he sniffled, stepping towards you, his hand beginning to stretch out to you. You merely shook your head and stepped back.

“Go to New York, Newt,” you whispered, wiping at your eyes quickly before looking at him. He closed his eyes as he looked into your own, not able to handle the wall he could see being put up in you. The wall that would be used to keep him out, to push him away.

“I’m just confused, you know I love you-”

“If you really loved me, you wouldn’t have fallen for her,” you declared. “You are a pathetic excuse of a man, Newt Scamander.”

Newt sat across from Queenie in the kitchen of the apartment. Tina was at work, leaving the magizoologist alone with her sister.

“I don’t mean to pry,” Queenie began as she stirred her steaming coffee. “There are just some things that I can’t help but hear-”

“Please don’t read my mind,” he pleaded quietly in a hoarse voice.

Newt had returned to New York without you after making you promise to wait for him in London. He hadn’t realized how different life would be without you, though. There was more to do in the case. There was no one there to fix his hair after a night of falling asleep at his desk, but then again, there was no one there to make sure that he didn’t fall asleep at his desk.

“Your thoughts are kinda loud right now,” Queenie stated, looking down at her cup with a frown. “I just want to know what your intentions with my sister are.”

“I can assure you that my intentions are strictly platonic,” he rushed out nervously.

“Y/N didn’t seem to think so, did she?” Queenie inquired, her eyes flashing up to meet his with a hint of suspicion. She had always liked you and had admired your relationship with Newt; it hurt her to know that her sister was the reason you and Newt were fighting.

“You know what Y/N thought,” he snapped, beginning to feel upset. “She and I are going to work things out when I return to London, though. Everything will be okay for us.”

“Mr. Scamander, I know what happened between you and Tina,” Queenie sighed sadly. Newt’s leg hit the bottom of the table and he winced.

“It was a mistake,” he attempted to reassure her.

“Tina doesn’t think so. She doesn’t even know that you’re still with Y/N.”

“Well, I am still with Y/N,” he insisted, despite not knowing where your relationship stood.

It wouldn’t be until he returned to London that he found out.

“Let’s talk,” you stated as Newt entered the kitchen the morning after he returned from New York. You clutched a letter behind your back as you stood in front of the sink, watching as he stumbled wearily into a seat at the table.

“Would you like to start?” He questioned lowly, looking up at you as he played nervously with the sleeve of his shirt.

“Okay,” you breathed out, grasping tightly onto the letter. “How was New York?”

“It was fine,” he told you. “The new Bowtruckles are in the case and seem to like the others.”

“Did you see Jacob?”

“Yes, he and Queenie are getting very well acquainted again, I believe there will be a wedding soon,” he said with a small smile. “I always thought it would be us getting married first.”

“I… I don’t see a wedding in our future,” you whispered slowly, closing your eyes so you couldn’t watch the hurt fill his face.

“W-What?” He choked out, finding it hard to breathe as the weight of your words came crashing down over him. A tidal wave of what could have been. “Y/N, please don’t say that-”

“Tina sent me a letter,” you interrupted him, shakily holding the letter in front of your trembling body. You opened your eyes and found Newt shaking his head slightly, eyes filled with tears. “She wanted to make sure I was alright, you know, since we apparently we aren’t together anymore. She wanted to say sorry for her new relationship with you-”

“Give me that!” He exclaimed, jumping up from the table and bounding over to rip the letter from your hands.

“Step away from me right now,” you growled out, putting the letter behind your back. He began to speak before you cut him off. “I don’t want to hear what you have to say, this letter made it very clear that our relationship is done. I have my things packed, I should go.”

“No, Y/N, please,” he begged, falling to his knees and grabbing ahold of your legs as he cried. His head rested on your stomach, your shirt began to dampen from his tears as you attempted to pull away.

“Let go of me, Newt,” you demanded, pushing at his shoulders. He shook his head, looking up at you as he continued to cry.

“Stay, Y/N, please-”

“Let me go-”

“No, not until you-”

There was a loud slap, his head reeling to the side from the force of your hand against his cheek. His crying went silent as your hand stung, and finally, his arms dropped from your legs. You could tell that you had shook him down to his core, but you couldn’t find it in yourself to care as you left the kitchen to gather your bags.

“Goodbye, Newt.”

A/N: Definitely thinking about a part two for a reunion at a little wedding in New York. Let me know what you guys think.

You frowned at the sight of the Quileutes at your family’s gradation party. You weren’t sure why they showed up in the first place. Last you heard Bella wasn’t on the best of terms with Jacob after she clocked him in the face.

Yet there she was, chatting away with Jacob and his friends. She didn’t seem too happy to see them, then again you never knew with Bella. She didn’t show much emotion on her face. Either way, I should go check on her or Edward will throw a hissy fit.

Everything stopped for a second. It was like pressing pause on a movie and everything just went silent. There was no reaction after seeing Jaebum get shot down. For some odd reason, I felt like crying after hearing the gunshot. My heart dropped and as soon as I saw Jaebum fall to his knees. However, my instinct knew Jaebum wouldn’t be defeated that easily by just an injury. Just like he read my mind, Jaebum opened the door of the car and climbed in while grabbing the side of his waist. Without a word, Jinyoung stepped on the gas petal and began to drive away.

Excuse me??

I work in a store in the Midwest similar to a mal wart that has “high standards and low prices” in the electronics department and it makes me hate people. I was helping a super nice guy out (customer A) by checking our new stock for a Nintendo switch and actually found one! That put me in a good mood because customer A was super cool and I was happy I could help him. While I was kneeling on the floor getting it out of the tote for him an older guy (customer B) walked up and said “don’t you just love to see a woman on her knees begging?” Customer A looked SHOCKED and I just responded with a weird look so customer B says oooh he’s only kidding. In my nicest customer service voice I told him if he needed help he could go find someone else and proceeded to check the guy out with his switch. After B left A looked at me in disbelief and asked if that happens a lot. Unfortunately the answer is yes my dude ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

TL;DR Creepy dudes are the worst and even after 6 YEARS customer never fail to come up with new ways to ruin my day
