Movie Night

Word Count: 2059, warnings: Fluffy and smutty

“Movie night!”

Henry look at my suspiciously excited expression. He knows I’m up to something. We always have movie night. Watching movies together is something we like to do. But due to him been famous is hard to go to movie theater, so we watch at home instead.

“What movie did you pick?” He asks going to the kitchen to grab beer.

“Is an old movie I wanted to watch for a long now. I finally found it,” I say smiling at him.

“What’s the title?” He asks this time raise his eyebrows at me.

“It’s 2003; I Capture the Castle, starring one of my favorites actor ever.” He roll the eye at my comment.

Saki: Umm guys? Where's Jackson?

BennAshe: he SHOULD be already here…

Sasuke: the last time i spoke to him was 4 hours ago, i haven’t erased our conversation, he clearly said he will be here no matter what he has to face

Gaara: uhuh, well i was talking to him on my way here three hours ago, but the last message he sent me was a “dot”
BennAshe: a dot? Just like that?

Gaara: mmhm

BennAshe: well, we have to look for him then, probably he had a problem on his way here

Gaara: …or something else

Sasuke: enough talk tho! Come on!

Time Off

When Y/N pulled up Twitter on her phone while waiting in line to order coffee, the last thing she expected to find was notification after notification informing her that her fans would miss her, but understood the need to take time off.

“What…” She mumbled to herself, unaware that she was taking any time off.

Quickly going through the conversations of the past few days, the young woman did her best to recall at any point on if she had mentioned to anyone that she was taking a break from YouTube, or if someone had decided it for her. But there was nothing coming to the front of her mind, and she frowned as the line shifted forward.

Why the hell did people think she was taking time off?!

Noticing that one of the notifications was a response to her tweet, although she actually hadn’t been on Twitter in almost twenty four hours, Y/N tapped on it, her eyes scanning the words that she most definitely had not typed and posted.

Gripping her phone tighter, she realized who it was that had done so though.

Giving up on the coffee line up, she spun around and headed for the door. There was someone she needed to talk to.

“Joseph!” Y/N yelled out as soon as the door was open, the resounding slamming of it following only a moment later. “Where the hell are you?!”

“I’m right here!” Her boyfriend replied, stepping out of his office with a frown, “Why are you yelling?”

“Why are you tweeting shit from my account?! And who gave you the right to decide whether I need a break or not!”

“Oh, you saw that…” Joe shifted on his feet, looking sheepish.

“Of course I bloody saw it, it’s on my Twitter after all. Now everyone thinks I’m taking a week off, when in truth, I’m not.”

“Why not?”

“Because this is my job, Joe! You know that! I’m a youtuber, I can’t just piss off for a week! I shouldn’t have to even explain this to you!”

“Everyone is supporting your decision though!” He protested, stepping towards her.

“This was not my decision. This was something you went behind my back and did, without even talking to me! What the hell were you even thinking?!” Y/N stared over at him, “Why did you think that was alright?”

“Because you’re stressed! And I’m worried, okay?! You’ve been exhausted for the past couple of weeks, and I barely see you because you’re always busy with meetings or videos, and I thought, hey, why not take a week off?” Joe told her, “I didn’t do it out of harm!”

“You should have just talked to me,” She crossed her arms tightly across her chest, “And I haven’t been that stressed.”

“When was the last time you took a night off?” He countered, watching as she avoided his gaze suddenly, “Exactly. Love,” He closed the distance between them, his hands coming to rest on her arms, “I’m just worried. I’m sorry for going behind your back, but I’m not sorry for telling them you’re taking a week off. You need it.”

“Coming from the man who overworks himself,” She scoffed, “Isn’t this being hypocritical?”

“Hey, I’ve been getting better!”

“Sure you have.”

“Will you please take the week off? Everyone seems to be pretty alright with it.”

“Are you going to take the week off too?”

“I’ll take a few days off, yes, and then we can spend some much needed time together.” Joe smiled softly at her, “Does that convince you to take the time off?”

“I suppose,” She finally relaxed, her arms falling to her side, his hands slipping into hers, “And I could use a day or two off…”

“Exactly,” He replied, leaning in to kiss her quickly. “I’m sorry for going behind your back.”

“Just watch it,” Y/N smirked, “I know your phone passcode. You never know what’ll pop up on your Twitter.”

“Remind me to change my passcode then.”

“I’ll still figure it out.”

“Probably.”

every westallen scene ever (22/?)

So peeve time: I get so frustrated when I see these straight women on my Facebook who I went to school with posting articles encouraging other “married women” to read them, about obligatory sex with with your husband. And in the article there is ALWAYS a woman saying, “I do everything in the house. I clean everything, I take on the vast bulk of childcare, I cook for my family of five every night.. So yeah. I am tired. I don’t feel like having sex with someone who sits there watching TV while I juggle the kids and help with their school work, and cook supper for everyone and clean up after everyone, and he can’t even be bothered to put his dinner plate in the sink.”

And ALWAYS this “Christian relationship expert” tells these women that they just need to take a deep breath, and meet their husbands needs on the mutual grounds of the bedroom. Even if you’re not feeling it. Even if the vast disparity in emotional and domestic labour makes you sick at the thought of intimacy. Like that shit is WACK?? Why are they telling these women to ignore their feelings regarding their own sexual agency?? That’s horrible. His needs are not more important than hers?? I get having a libido, and enjoying intimacy within a committed relationship and having it be an important emotional touchstone in your relationship, and im hesitant to say sex is an “earned” thing but.. JESUS CHRIST! It’s hard to want to be intimate with someone who doesn’t appreciate you or try to extend the bare minimum of reciprocity!?

It really cringes me when people on ig defend her. Pass me bucket. These are also die hard rk fans

Yeah, it’s really cringe-worthy. Even getting the link for the image caused me to see the comments and I couldn’t bare it for a couple seconds. So many ass-kisser fans out there.

As much as I love Lestrolly, I kind of want them to be like only barely acknowledged as a couple, like I want to see them holding hands and looking fondly at each other but never kissing and never outright declaring their love. Basically I want them to be allowed them same level of intimacy that gay couples are usually allowed on TV shows (read: a negligible amount), meanwhile John and Sherlock get to share the most passionate kisses you’ve ever seen in your life.

Previous parts

Hello friends! So this story from this point on, is taking a bit of a turn from the rest of it. The next few chapters will take place in a mental hospital. Although this is a Jonnor fic, it’s mainly about Connor, so I wanted to follow Connor at this point in his story. Also, wanted to warn you in case anything might be triggering. I’ll always say at the beginning if the chapter is still in the hospital. This chapter specifically contains and anorexic character and characters going through drug detox. Other than that, hope you enjoy it, friends!

This is what I tweeted to Derek:

I can’t help but feel disappointed about the way Chicago PD is going this season. It’s my favourite show and that’s why I’m so passionate about it and why I want it to do well. And I think that positive and negative feedback are both important so, respectfully, here is my opinion:

It used to be promoted as “not your dad’s average procedural” and the first two seasons were exactly that. There was a great balance between personal and professional. We saw the characters outside of work, with friends and family and it helped us get to know them and fall in love with them. It made us care that they go home at the end of the day. It made us get invested in the different relationships between them, and it made us want to see more of that.

However, in s3 there has been so much focus on the cases that the show is slowly becoming a typical procedural. The reason why most people tune in, from what I have seen, ARE the characters that we fell in love with in the previous seasons, and the fact that we don’t get to see their personal lives disappoints many of us.

Erin and Jay, who had such a well-written build-up in s1 and 2, finally got together only for us to barely see them as a couple. I have seen people wondering if they missed an episode where they break up because Linstead don’t act like they’re together. Why did they officially “come out” as a couple only for their relationship to barely be mentioned? Since episode 8, there have been no indicators that they’re anything other than partners and that saddens me, because they used to have such amazing scenes together. It’s ironic that we saw more of them together when they were sneaking around than now, when they’re supposed to be officially and proudly together. I don’t need to see them make out in every episode. But there needs to be casual intimacy to show that they’re more than partners. We saw that in episodes 2x11-2x16 and again in 3x07 and 3x08, so I don’t understand why suddenly there is no room for that on the show.

But it’s not just Linstead I’m disappointed about. Character development is lacking for all characters this season. What happened to Antonio’s family? I understand that the actors don’t live in Chicago, but there haven’t even been mentions about his personal life. We have barely seen him at the gym he bought, too.

Why did we see so much of Alvin debating whether or not to open the paternity test only for that storyline to be dropped? Are he and Michelle still living at Adam’s? Is he trying to reach out to Meredith and Lexie? I personally really loved his efforts to make amends with them in previous seasons so the lack of attempt this time around baffles me.

When will we learn about what Jay and Mouse went through? There have been hints here and there but we don’t get the full story. Jay is such an interesting character with many layers that have yet to be explored. I understand that this is only the 3rd season, but when Will told Erin that Jay had been “going through” something I thought it would soon be revealed. I have a hard time believing Erin would know that he had been through something traumatic and not care to ask. His family story has also only been hinted at. Mouse is a very interesting character, too, my favourite addition to the show, and I’d love to learn more about him.

What is going on with Kevin? Will there be consequences to what he did for that Captain’s son? And will we see his little sister again? I loved his relationship with her. The episode focused on him, “Prison ball”, was one of the best the show has had, in my opinion.

It really saddens me that the show has suddenly changed its formula to focus on cases. Don’t get me wrong, there have been amazing episodes this season. But “it’s a cop show” seems like a bit of an excuse to me. It is a cop show and we all know that. However, the previous seasons are proof that the balance between personal and professional can be done brilliantly. Yes, the cases have to be interesting but it’s your characters that make people tune in. It’s your characters that people fall in love with and want to see not only kicking ass on the job, but having lives outside of work, too. I would love to see the focus shift back onto them.
