Ok, so I read your hc about the boys having a stressed s/o because of exams and loved it, and I was wondering if you could do one were they react to finding out that there s/o doesn't even bother studying and still passes with flying colors.
*innocently coughs* I can testify for this sometimes XDD
Noctis Lucis Caelum
“That’s my (Y/N)”
Because he’s done it a couple of times during his days as a student too.
But with flying colors?
“I even amaze myself sometimes” his S/O would say, copying Noct.
Doesn’t matter how, if they pass, they pass. Noct would try encouraging his S/O to study, but hey, they seem to be able to handle school well without studying, so why bother anyway?
“Niiiice!! How’d you do it?!”
Prompto wished he was like them when he was still a student.
Because he needed it the most out of anyone.
Since they pass their subjects without studying, this would mean more time with Prompto.
And he’d love that. Why study when you’ll pass anyway?
Passing with flying colors?
“Way to go there, but aren’t you just getting lucky?”
Gladio would be impressed, but would still encourage his S/O to study.
Because how would they pass without studying? The power of luck?
Would jokingly ask “You aren’t cheating, are you?”
But undeniably amazed.
“I’m impressed that you’ve been passing your subjects… and with flying colors no less. While that’s a good thing, I hope you don’t completely neglect studying”
You know, if he does find out his S/O hasn’t been studying, there would be greater chance Ignis would allot more time tutoring them (to make sure they do study).
Might be intentional ‘ya know. Spending more time with Ignis ;D
Leia was not repulsed in ANH. Did you actually watch the movie? In both TPM & ANH the future romantic pairing formed a friendship/alliance and fought together on the same side. That is a fact, plain and simple. The only such friendship/alliances established in TFA are Poe/Finn and Rey/Finn. Another irrefutable fact.
wait…. did you watch ANH?
Han Solo: Look, Your Worshipfulness, let’s get one thing straight. I take orders from just one person: me. Princess Leia Organa: It’s a wonder you’re still alive. [Pushing past Chewbacca] Princess Leia Organa: Will someone get this big walking carpet out of my way? Han Solo: No reward is worth this.
Princess Leia Organa: It’s not over yet. Han Solo:
It is for me, sister. Look, I ain’t in this for your revolution, and
I’m not in it for you, Princess. I expect to be well paid. I’m in it for
the money. Princess Leia Organa: You needn’t worry about your reward. If money is all that you love, then that’s what you’ll receive. [to Luke] Princess Leia Organa: Your friend is quite the mercenary. I wonder if he really cares about anything. Or anybody. [she stalks out] Luke Skywalker: [calling after her] I care.
Han Solo: Not a bad bit of rescuing, huh? You know, sometimes I amaze even myself. Princess Leia: That doesn’t sound too hard.
Princess Leia Organa: Put that thing away, you’re gonna get us all killed! Han Solo:
Absolutely, Your Worship. Look, I had everything under control until
you led us down here! Now it’s not going to take them long to figure out
what happened to us.
Princess Leia Organa: Looks like you’ve managed to cut off our only escape route. Han Solo: [sarcastically] Maybe you’d like it back in your cell, your highness.
Yeah, they seem real smitten in those exchanges.
Your analysis is pretty weak, but I’ll help you out:
Friendships are not the only way that a story can build on relationships. In fact, necessity is what often brings about the relationships in SW - survival. Not an immediate kindred spirit. Luke, Han, and Leia were arguing their way through that starship to get Leia out of there… they - none of them - really were immediately fond of each other. Han least of all.
The PT was different in that Anakin started off as a child, so the real romance couldn’t begin until the 2nd installment… and even then it was awkward and Anakin had NO IDEA what he was doing. Way out of his league. And… considering how that romance ENDED… uhhh, I dunno that we’d say relationships in SW have ever been rosy.
also, listing “facts” from the plot line do not disprove analysis of those “facts.” Actually, though, I’d rather call them plot points or something, because it’s fiction, so none of it is really “fact.”
