Rae! I had a dream about kid Tobi protecting his brother. But instead of walking away Butsuma lost it and attacked him. While Hashirama tried to help get their father away from him Tobi got knocked off acliff and into a river. The river spirits saved him and another Clan memeber killed Butsuma for attacking little Tobi. Hashirama just wanted his little brother safly away from the cliff now thanks.
This was super cute and I had to write a tiny something for it.
“No! No, no, no!”
A heavy sigh escaped Tobirama as he rolled eyes but he didn’t bother to fight the hands that grabbed at his clothing and dragged him backwards.
“Brother you do understand that I am arguably the strongest water jutsu user in all of the five great nations? That if there were anyone who were comfortable in water and not in any danger from it, it would be me?”
“Yes and I am so proud of you,” Hashirama replied, wiping at one eye. “Now get away from the edge. You could fall.”
“In to water.”
“You could fall.”
With a noise of disgust, Tobirama threw both hands in the air and stalked off - in the opposite direction of the cliff’s edge he’d been using as a vantage point to get a sense of their surroundings. It really wasn’t worth arguing with Hashirama; he would never win.
Behind him, the Head of the Senju clan watched his brother go and smiled as the tight fist of ice around his heart eased it’s grip. He didn’t mean to be ridiculous, really, but he couldn’t help it. The very sight of Tobirama anywhere near the edge of any high place sent him straight to the edge of a panic attack.
Memories were a funny thing, to last so long and have such strange effects.
No one else was around to witness him as Hashirama himself inched his way closer to the edge. He did not look over and he did not look back. Instead he carefully squatted down, reached out, and gave the crumbling rock a firm smack.
“Serves you right,” he murmured. “My brother. I’ll be keeping him, thank you.”
With that he crawled back a few steps, stood, then turned to follow his brother and appease him with hugs and smiles.
One can never be too careful when protecting one’s precious people.
