“He(Bob Marley) had this idea. It was kind of a virologist idea. He believed that you could cure racism and hate… literally cure it, by injecting music and love into people’s lives. When he was scheduled to perform at a peace rally, a gunman came to his house and shot him down. Two days later he walked out on that stage and sang. When they asked him why — He said, ‘The people who are trying to make this world worse are not taking a day off. How can I? Light up the darkness.’”
The top picture is a screenshot from the 2007 filmI Am Legend starring Will Smith. In the film (just before the title screen) Smith’s character is hunting in Times Square NYC and as the camera pans up, there is a billboard (which would have been put up in December 2009 according to the films timeline) with the Batman and Superman logos intertwined. This is similar to the Batman/Superman logo in the bottom picture released at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con for the upcoming movie. The billboard shows “05/15/10” as the release date but the real film is slated for Summer 2015.
