i actually liked the scene when they get out of the theater and talk about the movie it was cute

So I read STFF last night...

Amazon is freaking amazing. I got my copy a day early and spent all of last night reading it. Despite some poor reviews and negative reactions to the advanced copies, I actually really enjoyed this book. I read a ton of fanfic and books. When I enjoy a story, I get sucked in and will read non-stop to finish it (time/life permitting). Other than dinner and watching Dustin Lance Black’s “When We Rise” last night, I read STFF. I was compelled to take notes throughout. I ended up with three pages of notes.

If you’re the general audience, I think you will enjoy this book. It’s funny, raw, tender, and heartbreaking. Coming from a fandom perspective, you’ll get it. You may see yourselves in it. The character development for the 4 teenagers could have been better, he devoted a chapter to each one and further glimpses into them as the story went on, but for the most part, not enough. I think my fave depiction of one of the kids was the trans kid, Sam - that’s going to help a lot of kids out there. Maybe he was trying to keep the book shorter (it’s 295 pages) to keep the average teens attention span, but tbh, these kids are reading Harry Potter and other much longer novels so I think he could have expanded that more.

If you’re not a Chris Colfer fan who’s paid attention to his life, you may not get any of the autobiographical nature of this book. However, make no mistake, he pulls directly from his life and life experiences and it’s blatant. I definitely have a clearer perspective on Chris and the way he views life, his Glee years, and fandom. He’s screaming to be heard and understood. Please don’t read into this thinking he hates his fans, that’s just not true. He loves and appreciates his fans, however, certain fans and fandom culture scares the hell out of him. He’s never quite understood us. I don’t take it with malicious intent, it just is what it is. Obviously we cannot empathize unless we’ve been in his shoes, but we get a better understanding through this book.

Chris wrote this as an exercise of “plausible deniability” just like when he wrote the Rachel/PR bits into his episode. Of course he’s going to claim this is all fiction and has very little basis in reality, we know better. Definitely go buy it and check it out.

There are many obnoxious things I found within, you may or may not agree with me, but do not come hatin’ into my inbox. I won’t be entertaining you today.

Under the cut (slight spoilers ahead, but I do not mention Cash’s secret) are the things that stood out for me:

kitten-or-cat  asked:

Could I please ask for a Dean scenario? (preferably fluff)😊

Bonnie and Clyde

Pairing: Reader x Dean

Genre: Fluff

Word Count: 1140

Summary: You promised to meet Dean at the drive in theater for your first date, but you forgot you had another boring commitment that same night. You tend to have a dramatic way of going about things.

Here I am… Sitting here with a blind date I completely forgot about until he called, instead of doing what I hoped to be doing tonight, with the person I hoped to be with.

It was my best friend’s idea to get me a blind date, and it was my date’s idea to invite his snooty friends. So here I am in a casual green cotton dress and adidas, while these people are sitting across from me in designer shoe, suits and dresses…

They talk about things incomprehensible to me; not for them being too complicated, but rather too boring. They brag about their most recent car, or gossip about the most recent celebrity scandal.

I would much rather be with him right now…

Hyuk and I had been playing a long back and forth game of flirting with each other, so I was quite surprised when he straight up asked me out.

“I-I…. I’m sorry Hyukie I must’ve not heard you right? What was that?”

He flushes slightly but still keeps his chill composure. “I asked if you wanted to go see a movie with me? At the drive in theatre? They’re doing a showing of old movies, and “Bonnie and Clyde” is playing at 10:00 pm… So..”

I giggle a bit. He’s so frickin cute, does he even realize it? “Hmm, “Bonnie and Clyde” eh?  I think that sounds doable.”

“Yeah?” He says with a relieved smile.

“Yeah.” I say back with a smile, and we lock eyes. His gaze is so comforting…

“A-Alright then,” He looks away smiling harder and grabs his stuff. “I’ll see you there then?”

“Yes Hyukie, you can count on it.” I say with a confident smile.” He gives a bright eye smile and takes off.

Yet, It’s 9:57 pm. And I’m sitting here not even participating in the conversation. I completely forgot about this commitment in the first place, so that goes to show you how ‘excited’ I was about it. They’re not even looking at me…

What… What am I doing here exactly? The drive in theatre is only walking distance from here…

I have the most perfect guy waiting for me at a drive in theatre, and I’m sitting here with a bunch of snooty strangers in a stuffy restaurant.

What would Hyuk say if he saw me right now? Sitting here, so out of place…

Suddenly I start to hear the tune of Hyuk’s “Bonnie and Clyde” playing in my head, and it grows louder, and louder, until all of the boring small talk surrounding me is drowned out.

I want us to be more than friends… So again… What I am I doing sitting here…?

I stand up and the napkin lying on my lap slides down and to the  floor. I look down at them and see for the first time this night, they’re actually looking my way. “I’m leaving.” I state boldly.

My blind date’s friend speaks lowly but loud enough that I can hear him, “She’s the rebellious kind, hm? Don’t worry, not your type anyway.” I see my blind date look a little annoyed but not hurt.

I start to run out of the restaurant, but I turn around and run back a little. I’m technically ditching him without any explanation, so I feel the need to say something more. I look him in the eye and can only think of one appropriate comment.

“I’m sorry.” I quietly tell him. But all the while I can’t stop the anxious grin from spreading across my face. Nah, I’m not sorry.

I’m going to make it Hyuk.

I run out and onto the street, happy I wore comfortable shoes. I giddily run up the evening street, passing underneath street lamps, and bypassing small business neon signs. I can’t stop smiling, and jubilant little laughs escape my mouth. Just the thought of getting to see him has me acting on such childish impulses, and brimming with innocent joy.

I see the corner need to make it to the drive in theatre, and I cut the corner sharply trying to make good time. I see it, and I run even faster, knowing I’ll have to take a moment when I get there to catch my breath. It seems as though the movie has only just started, but there are so many cars pulled into the theatre. I feel like crying out in frustration.

Then I get a crazy idea. Kind of dramatic too I might add.

I run through all of the cars, and step up on the stage. Not feeling any fear at all, only focusing on finding Hyuk, I step in front of the giant projection screen. Although I’m not big enough to block a good portion of the film, I am noticed, and people start to yell. All I can do is rapidly dart my eyes around though, trying to make sure the one person I want to see me does.

Almost dead ahead I see someone else stand up, and hear more yelling from the cars behind them. When a lighter scene starts to play behind me on the screen than the previous one, I break out into a goofy smile. It’s Hyuk, and he’s chuckling to himself.

I run ahead to his car, and bear hug him. “I almost didn’t make it, but I’m here!” I quietly exclaim.

He laughs and shyly hugs me back. “Y’know Y/N, you certainly have a flair for the dramatic.”

I pull away and sit in the passenger side of the car, and Hyuk follows suit getting in the driver’s side. “Who me? That doesn’t sound right.” I say and give him a sarcastic smirk. “I just have a different way of doing things. You saw me right? And I saw you. That’s all I really cared about honestly.”

He laughs heartily yet quietly, and looks at me with a gentleness that I always find alluring. He interlaces our fingers, and I look up to find we’re both blushing. “I’m glad you’re here..” He says and caresses my cheek.

I look down shyly smiling, and place my free hand on top of his. “I am too… Hyukkie?”

   “Mmm?” He hums contently.

“What are we…? Are we… More than friends?” I ask a little nervous.

I look up and Hyuk looks vulnerable for a moment. His eyes were wide, and his cheeks flushed. He looks down at our interlaced fingers, and brings our hands up to kiss the back of mine. “We’re whatever you wanna be baby.”

My heart leaps at the new endearment, and I leave it at that knowing I have nothing to worry about. I lay my head down upon his shoulder and look up at the screen to see the old movie playing in front of us, as the stars gleam above us.

I hoped you liked it!!  This was my first time officially writing for this angel, and seeing as how you’re a Dean stan I was scared of ruining this lol… So I’m sorry if he seems ooc! I was inspired to do this kind of dramatic scene after watching La La Land <3 (I have an issue with putting a bunch of song references in my writing as you can see XD)

Could I request the guys with an S/O who’s a big fan of Broadway musicals and their reactions when she asks them to go with her when she finds out her favorite show will be performing?

Let’s see how many of them end up as broadway fans themselves, shall we?

Korekiyo Shinguuji

  • You were nuts for Les Misérables, so when you heard it would be performed, you freaked
  • Of course, you had to see it, so you immediately asked your boyfriend Shinguuji to come with you
  • It did not take much convincing
  • You wouldn’t think of him as a musical guy, but he loves humans. What’s more beautiful than seeing them working their hardest to tell a story through such a memorable medium?
  • And boy were you glad you went to see it with him
  • You didn’t often get to see your boyfriend show his emotions so clearly but
  • It was like this musical bared open his soul
  • He was enraptured, and so were you
  • The actor’s voices filled the entire room with their feelings
  • When Fantine sang her iconic song, he had his hand up to cover his mouth even though he was wearing his mask as per usual
  • During the suspenseful scenes, his hand was clutched tightly around yours, and his eyes were focused intently on the stage
  • And finally, during the last song when the voices enveloped everyone in a bittersweet ending, there were tears running down both of your faces
  • Shinguuji was extremely grateful he got to see such a moving display with you. It was something he’d never forget.

Rantarou Amami

  • After a few minutes of cajoling, Amami agreed to go see Mamma Mia with you
  • He didn’t really know anything about it, but if you wanted to see a live performance so badly, who was he to refuse?
  • Plus, he liked that you described it as a “feel good musical”
  • So, off you went to the theater.
  • He even dressed up for the occasion and took off some of his jewelry!
  • What a cute dork
  • And, what do you know, he enjoyed himself very much!
  • He thought it was hilarious that sophie invited all three of her potential dads to her wedding
  • And he visibly cringed when her mom found out they were all there
  • But he loved the whole thing
  • And somehow during the course of the show
  • He memorized like, three of the songs
  • So he was singing them on the way home
  • And when you got home, he downloaded the Mamma Mia soundtrack
  • Oh dear
  • But to be honest, you were singing along with him too

Kokichi Okuma

  • Ouma did not want to go see a musical with you
  • He thought the were boring and he did not want to have anything to do with boring things
  • But finally, finally, you convinced him to go see Little Shop of Horrors with you
  • He agreed primarily because of the title
  • “As an evil supreme leader, how can I not be interested in a shop of horrors?”
  • You were just glad he agreed to go
  • Of course, when you actually arrived at the theater, you started getting nervous because what if he doesn’t like it?
  • You’ve always loved Broadway, so it would kind of stink if the person you loved didn’t want to have anything to do with it!
  • As you sat down, he winked at you, though, as if to say “you have nothing to worry about”
  • That turned out to be true!
  • He loved it.
  • He loved the giant plant, he loved the dentist’s death, he loved the ending especially.
  • He even loved the love blooming between Audrey and Seymour. He said he didn’t and that it was boring, but you could tell he was lying.
  • When the curtain rose for curtain call, he was the first person to stand up and cheer!
  • It was nice to be able to grin at him and say, “I told you so”.

Shuuichi Sahara

  • You’ve always been a huge fan of broadway, and Into the Woods was an old favorite of yours
  • After seeing Bernadette Peter’s Witch, you became hooked on theatre and musicals especially!
  • So, when you heard it would be playing nearby, you thought it would be perfect as a date for yourself and Saihara!
  • After all, you’d been wanting to share some shows with him, and what better way than to go to a live performance?
  • Plus, Into the woods seemed like a show he would enjoy. It was funny, clever, and unpredictable, but it was also sad and thought-provoking. He’d get the full experience!
  • He agreed to go with you. Why not? He was always willing to spend time with you, and he wanted to know more about the things you loved.
  • He was not prepared.
  • During the first act, he laughed along with everyone, and told you how fun the show seemed to be during the intermission!
  • And then the second act started
  • Halfway through, he whispered to you, “Is this the same show or…?
  • When the narrator died, he gave you a look as if to say, “Are they serious??”
  • It was actually pretty funny
  • He applauded enthusiastically when it ended, though
  • And he told you that even though it went in some… unexpected directions, he’d love to watch more shows with you!

Kaito Momota

  • Annie had been your favorite musical since you were a little kid
  • When you heard that there was a possibility you’d be able to see it, you begged Momota to go with you
  • He was a bit apprehensive, since he’d never actually gone to see a show before!
  • But it only took “It’s a Hard-Knock Life” and he was hooked.
  • When Annie met Sandy for the first time, he audibly gasped out loud.
  • And when she got her happy ending with Warbucks? He was sniffling like a kid with tears streaming down his face
  • What a softie
  • But you were glad. Now he understood your love for shows!
  • He wouldn’t stop talking about the show when you were on your way home
  • And he asked to watch the movie versions with you as soon as he found out there were three
  • Oh, dear
  • Well, at least he’s having fun

  • Kiibo’ll go see a musical, sure!
  • Robots can do normal things like see musicals
  • Just watch and see!! He’ll prove it!!
  • Kiibo, calm down
  • You talk to him about the general plot of the one you want to see, Hairspray
  • He’s very interested!
  • Even though he’s not black, and there aren’t enough robots for there to be institutionalized roboticism, he can identify with some of the characters’ struggles
  • And he feels sympathetic for the other struggles they deal with
  • During the show, he doesn’t really look too into it
  • But when it’s over, he’s really enthusiastic about applauding and cheering for it!
  • Then, he has a thorough discussion with you about the whole thing!
  • He even compares you to Penny, since, well. You’re dating him, despite how others see him!
  • If all musicals are as thought-provoking as this one, he’s happy to see more with you!

Gonta Gokuhara

  • Gonta didn’t even know what a musical was
  • The boy spent ten years in a forest, it’s not his fault
  • But watching people sing and dance sounded like fun! Of course Gonta wanted to see that!
  • Well, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown was being performed nearby, so you dragged him off to see it!
  • He adored it
  • He was like a kid in a candy store
  • Of course, some of the jokes flew right over his head
  • But for the most part, he was enraptured
  • He loved Snoopy a lot
  • And Sally
  • And he loved the songs
  • And the dances
  • And the scenery!
  • And the costumes!!
  • Gonta loved the whole thing!!!!!
  • He thanks you for taking him to see something so amazing!!
  • And he’s excited to see more!
  • Just wait until he finds out about the musical with giant talking bugs…

Ryouma Hoshi

  • Wicked is showing nearby
  • You see the news online and immediately turn to your boyfriend
  • “Hoshi. We’re going to see Wicked.”
  • “Um-”
  • “We’re going.”
  • “Well, okay”
  • He doesn’t even know what it is until you actually get to the theater
  • Aaaaand maybe he feels like it isn’t his thing
  • But he really doesn’t mind being there
  • After all, it’s not like it’s bad
  • And he really likes how happy you are to be there
  • Heck, if that’s how much you love them? He’ll go see them with you every day.
  • Anything for you.

Same, Cas. Same.

Lizbob was laughing at me earlier because I’m in the middle of this seemingly long stretch of episodes that involve Major Fandom Disagreements. And this is one of them. Because of this ^^

  • Do not watch a movie with Ennoshita unless you want an essay on what the actors/directors/producers have done previously, facts about the way particular scenes were shot and where they were shot and how certain special effects are actually done.
  • Yachi continues to keep in contact with the graduating third years and then the second years when they eventually graduate, updating them on practices and when match times are if they wish to attend.
  • Daichi and the other third years have a trivia team for trivia nights
  • Kiyoko and Tsukishima often recommend music to each other, swapping CD’s and USB’s.
  •  Asahi and Yachi like to discuss artists they like. Sometimes they get a group together to go to the art gallery.
  • Tsukishima and Tanaka often end up trashing movies when they watch them with the rest of the team.
  • Nishinoya on occasion skateboards into school. Sometimes he pushes Hinata and Tanaka around on it. It doesn’t always end well.
  • Kinnoshita often brings in baked goods when its someones birthday.
  • Sugawara often makes obscure theater references and more often than not Ennoshita and Yamaguchi are the only ones who get them.
  • Everyone is surprised when they find out that Narita is super good with computers and technology, he’s often the one that does a lot of filming editing for Ennoshita’s projects.
  • Surprisingly Kageyama and Tsukishima are the two who get along with Natsu the best. (Next to Sugawara of course)
  • Yamaguchi is quite well read and pulls out book quotes left right and centre in conversation.
  • Yamaguchi is the best at videogames out of all the first years and Kageyama is the worst.
Behind The Scenes (2/???)

Author’s note: Okay, this series is going to be long, pretty long. Since I have it written out already and I have it divided how i’m planning on posting it, I might update this series very often. I am going to try to update it every day or at least every other day. Hopefully I can count how many parts this series is made up of. Since there are alot of parts to this, I will have a link to a different post where it’ll have all the parts. I really hope you guys enjoy series. I apologize for any errors.

Genre: Fluff (jungkook x reader)

This GIF is mine. I made it based off of this scenario series.

It was noon. You decided that this time was the best time to try and call Jungkook. You chose this time because chances were, he was taking a break and is probably about to eat. You type the phone number in, but before you press “talk” you take a deep breath and try to collect yourself before coming of as a nervous idiot.

You called the number and after 3 dial tones a guy pick up. It sounded like Jungkook! When you hear him ask “Hello?”, out of nerves you respond with, “Hello? Who is this?”. He responds with, “This is Jungkook… Who are you and how did you get this number?”

You hold your breath again and try to not scream into the phone. You did your best to speak again without sounding weird. “Um, Hi. This is Y/n. I met you at the fan signing. I had seen a number on the back of my poster and I decided to call it… I’m sorry if this is weird! I don’t want to freak you out. I’ll just let you go.”

“Wait!”, he let out a nervous laugh. Don’t worry, you aren’t freaking me out. I’m really happy you called! I was really nervous that you weren’t going to see what I wrote on the back of the poster. Then I got a bit scared that if you did see it, you weren’t going to call because you thought the number was fake… or that you didn’t want to talk to me.”

After getting past the awkward introduction, he tells you he actually got the afternoon off from practice. You two begin talking, like in actual conversation!  You start talking about how your days are going so far and some other superficial stuff. After about an hour and a half of talking Jungkook asks you out on a date, so you two can talk in person. Obviously you say yes! He’s your ultimate bias for crying out loud!

“Really?!? You’ll go on a date with me?!?” he asked in disbelief. “but I have to warn you. we would have to meet really late at night and on a weekday… if you still want to meet it would also be best that you hide your face when we meet. Like, wear a beanie and a scarf or something…”

Despite all this, you still agreed to go on the date with him. He decided on you two going on a movie date because there will be less of a chance for you two to be seen.

For your date with Jungkook you wore your cutest dress and a matching pair of shoes. You debated on whether to not you should go all out with your make-up or keep things simple, because he wasn’t really going to see much of your face anyway. You took a look at the clock. You were already running late! You took too long choosing an outfit that you were forced to go with a simpler make-up. Then you grabbed a scarf and a beanie like he advised.

You met Jungkook behind the theater, where he told you he’d be waiting. As you walked closer to him you could see he was wearing a jean jacket, black jeans, a beanie and was covering his face with a mask. He happened to look over in your direction. When he saw you he pulled his mask down and he gave you a, “Hello Beautiful!”, along with that cute smile of his. He kind of blushed and he got nervous when he realized what he just said, but then he quickly tried to regain himself. You couldn’t help but blush and try and hide your face from him again.

“Aww, you look so cute when you get shy like that, but please don’t cover your face!” he said gently moving your hands away from your face. “I’m glad you could meet me! But I feel bad that we have to meet like this… I’m sorry, but you’re gonna have to go buy us the tickets and the popcorn. I don’t want anybody to recognize me. Don’t worry I pay for everything!” he said, handing you the money.

“Don’t worry about it! I figured that things would be this way. The last thing I want is for you to get in trouble with your company or with armies. I just surprised that we are actually meeting in a public place… or actually meeting at all…” you said reassuringly.

When you bought the tickets you ran back and gave him his and told his to save a spot for you in the theater. You went off to get in line to buy the food. After getting the food, you ran to the theater and looked out for his beanie. You spotted him way in the back, right under the projector. When you got to him, he apologized again about things being this way. Once again, you reassured him you were okay with everything.

The movie in general was great. But being with Jungkook was amazing! He was really cute throughout the whole date. He would find excuses to hold your hand and would whisper little comments to you throughout the whole movie. Things like, “You know ‘so and so’ actor was in ‘so and so’ movie.”, “I bet if Rap Monster was in this movie, he would have dropped the bomb by now!”, “Is it just me or are you way prettier than the actresses in the movie?”

After the movie he told you, “I had a lot of fun seeing you, Y/n! Um, originally I wanted us to go out to eat, but it seems pretty late already.” He sounded a bit disappointed. It was already past midnight at this point. His phone buzzed and he said it was a text from his manager, that he was already here to pick him up. You were surprised to hear his manager was here. You thought maybe they would not have let him even go on a date with you, let alone bring him to the date!

You gave him a small bye as you saw him step away from you and go towards the parking lot. You turned around to head home, but he called you before you could take another step. “Um, Y/n… Considering how this date went, would you want to go on another date?”. Immediately you said yes! “ha, that’s great! But I was thinking the next date should be a bit different. If it’s okay with you, would you want to have a date with me at the BTS dorm? I’m sacred fans will see us if we go out in public again. If you still want to come, you’d have to arrive with your face covered again. Don’t worry, the other members shouldn’t be there. It’ll just be you and me, we could just watch movies and play video games…”

You didn’t answer him right away. You weren’t too excited about the whole thing. You were relieved that the other members wouldn’t be there, but you were even more nervous about it for the same reason. You looked up at him and he stood anxiously, waiting for your answer. You gave him a smile, “How can I say ‘no’ to Jungkook?”. A smile grew on his face and gave you a small hug out of excitement. Then you two said your good-byes. You walked away, you looked back to wave bye and watched as he headed to the manager’s car.

Over the next few days, you both texted back and forth regularly whenever Jungkook had free time. The more you two talked, the more of a flirt he was with you. He was still cute, but he was coming off as more of a flirt.

On the day of the dorm date, he texted you the address to his dorm and told you to show up at around 11. When you arrived at the door, you knocked and were greeted by a grinning Kookie. He gave you a quick hug and pulled you in the dorm as if he were smuggling something in.

You couldn’t help but feel awkward as you entered the BTS dorm. It was weird that it was just you two. You didn’t really know what to say. You took a quick look around the dorm as Jungkook helped you take off your jacket. “Wow! This place is huge!” you said.

The living room was twice that size of yours. The kitchen and living room were separate by a breakfast bar. The kitchen was beautiful and just as spacious as the living room. There was enough space for them to have a large table in there too.

“Yeah, this place is pretty big. It wasn’t like this a few years ago. Before, this was a regular apartment and we all had to share rooms. Then the company had enough money and they bought out the apartment next door. We used that one to make one big apartment. So now we each have our own rooms.”

He brought you over to the couch and started putting the movie on. As the intro was playing he turned off the lights and went into the kitchen to go bring some snacks. When he came back, he sat right next to you.

You asked him what movie it was and he said it was a scary movie. Unfortunately, you weren’t a lover of horror films and never heard of the movie before. This made you more scared because you didn’t know what to expect.

As the movie intensified and you grew more and more scared. You were too engulfed in the movie to notice that Jungkook moved himself closer and closer to you. At one point you slightly took noticed and he claimed he can “protect you”, but then you got distracted by a jump scare and hid yourself in his arms. Halfway into the movie he already had one arm wrapped around you and the other hand on your thigh.

At the most intense part of the movie, the door to the dorm swung open. You automatically let out a really loud scream. Someone turned on the lights, revealing the rest of the BTS members bunched up at the entrance. They were all staring awkwardly at you and Jungkook.

Jungkook immediately paused the movie and you jumped off the couch. Jungkook stood up in front of you and introduced you to the rest of the members. They still looked confused and you further introduce yourself, “Um, hi! You might not remember me, but I was at the fan meeting a few weeks ago at your last concert…”.  They all looked back at Jungkook, then back at you and said “oh okay” and they all dispersed to their respective rooms.

Jin and V gave you a cute little wave as they passed you. Suga gave you a sleepy head nod as he stumbled to his room. Rap monster and Jhope were too busy whispering to each other to acknowledge you. Jimin was subtly glaring at you. He was scanning you up and down as he walked past you and to his room.

After that embarrassing and awkward introduction, Jungkook led you back to the couch to see the rest of the movie. You two didn’t exactly go back into the same position you were previously. It took almost the rest of the movie for Jungkook to get back to having his arm around you. With the guys now over, you were pretty paranoid and you felt really awkward about it now. You felt more aware of everything now that the rest of BTS was back at the dorm.

At the end of the movie you told Jungkook that you were really sleepy and thought that it was time you go back home. He said “Fine, I guess I’ll let you go home now, but you have to let me go with you to the first floor. I want to see you as much as I can before you have to leave!”

You blushed again and agreed to his proposition. He helped you gather your things and fixed your scarf to cover enough of your face. Then, he walked with you to the elevator with his arm wrapped around you.

When the elevator doors opened, he pulled you to one of the corners, so that he was able to lean at the corner and hug you from behind. At this point you were basically a dead fangirl. You were already holding your breath from the entire walk from his door to the elevator, now you were just dead from all the feelings. You were relieved that he couldn’t see how red your face was getting.

Since the BTS dorm was on the highest floor, the elevator ride lasted a good while. Every second was heaven to you. Half way down, Jungkook whispered into your ear, “You smell really nice!”. You froze. How was all this even possible? This was a dream come true. Never in a million years did you think you’d go to a BTS concert, meet your bias, go on a date with your bias, go on a second date at the dorm, and be getting a back hug from him. This was all too good to be true.

“So, um, Y/n. Next week we are going to have a party to celebrate the tour being over. It’s going to be here in the dorm. Do you want to come?”, he whispered into your ear.  You were still in shock over this whole situation. It took you a while to process what was going on and it took you even longer to decide whether you wanted to come over again after you embarrassed yourself in front of the other guys. You were also scared that the guys all got a bad impression from you, especially Jimin. Plus, your place was pretty far away from the dorm.

Jungkook noticed you taking your time to answer him again. He soon became impatient and playfully said, “If you don’t give me an answer by the time we get to the first floor, this invitation will be revoked!”

You gave a little gasp and said, “YES! I’ll come for the party. Don’t you remember that I can’t say no to you!”. Out of excitement he gave you a quick squeeze.

When to elevator finally reached the first floor, he turned you around, pulled down your scarf, and gave you a kiss. You were so in beyond in shock, you just stood there looking up at him and blushing extra hard. He pinched your cheeks and told you it was time to get off. You still didn’t move, so he ever so gently pushed you towards the doors saying “Goodnight, I can’t wait to see you next week Y/N”

About half an hour later, you were back at your place. You honestly had no idea how you got yourself home. You were on too much of a love high to process what was going on. You still can’t believe that any of that actually happened. You were to in shock to fall asleep. All you did was replay everything in your head.

I will try posting the next part tomorrow.

Out of Context - Memorable Lines From Drama Class

Here is a lovely collection of my favorite lines from my four years of Drama and Musical Theater classes in high school.

If you want the tale behind the line , send the line to my ask box and you’ll get the story behind it !

“ I have , by some grand miscalculation, managed to glue my hand to a chair and I’m supposed to be onstage in two minutes. ”

“ Do you think Brayden will be upset with me if I tell him that I’m really distracted by his forest green eyes when he’s wearing the mask ? Because I’m really distracted and I can’t do my lines when he’s looking at me with those eyes. ”

“ ….I have five copies of the same hat in case I lose one. And yet , with my scene in 90 seconds, I….. I have no hats . ”

“ Of all the people I could have been stuck talking to as I bleed out , it had to be you. ”

“- loud screaming in background- Please tell me Stede is messing with us again. ”

“Please don’t play with the corpse. ”

“ 911 , what is the nature of your emergency ? …. Ma'am. ..I’m sorry but ’ Micheal Bay is making a live action TMNT movie ’ is not an emergency. ”

“ Is the phantom actually a phantom ? How does he get food down in the sewers? And clean water? It’s full of rats and disease. Phantom is dead , yo.”

“ Can you quit singing ’ Don’t Cry For Me Argentina ’ every time someone dies?”

“ All arguments today must be settled in song form. It’s Musical Monday. ”

“ Whoever keeps adding ’ with great sarcasm ’ after the words ’ he dies’ in the script needs to stop. ”

“ I’m not gonna let you murder me today , I haven’t finished my Minecraft house. ”

“ If you can quote at least one historical figure who wasn’t white, I won’t shoot you. ”

“- in a slow motion voice - No don’t throw knives , you’ll get blood on my throw rugs ”

“ Well , I’m dying but at least I don’t have to go to work tomorrow ”

“ Never thought the way to avoid death was by complimenting my would-be killer”

“ You’re under arrest for being a smartmouth”
“ Oh, am I?”

“ Yo , Prince , don’t kiss her before you date her first . She’s a sleeping beauty not a paid escort. ”

“ I’m immortal , and I’m here to tell you your ancestors are disappointed. ”

“ I managed to walk off the roof by accident ”

So, as I said after Jump Fiesta there was a rumor that Naruto’s VA silenced Kishimoto when he was talking about Sakura and Hinata and people weren’t sure if it was real or not so the only understandable way to find out was to ask people from Japan who went to JF if it’s true. After they confirmed I asked one fan for details and she sent me pictures from the event one from which was from the Hinata and Naruto’s cosplayers and fans actually ignoring them or even silencing Naruto when he was saying “Never give up” occasionally. Then I asked Airi-san ( the person from twitter) if she had seen the movie and thankfully she was nice enough to tell me about her whole experience and the atmosphere and people’s reactions while watching the movie. The best part is that she watched Road to Ninja at theaters and she even pointed out the differences between them and how the viewers felt. There were a lot of messages we sent to each other so instead of posting it as a dialogue I decided to make a full text of her answers and correct some mistakes with her English (even though she did great).

  • These questions were asked shortly after Jump Fiesta 2015
  • Naruto Gaiden wasn’t out yet so there is nothing about the Boruto generation except her opinion on it and the general reaction to it.

“One thing is for sure - this movie was everywhere. There were posters all around the city, commercials and a lot, A LOT of merchandise. Surprisingly it didn’t end after the premiere of the movie but actually got even worse (or better, depends on your views on it). The hype was real, fans were really excited and every fan talked about this movie because we had a lot of hope in it. Most of us, if not all, were expecting a Team 7 central so we can see our favorite team fighting together once again. Many people actually laughed at Naruto’s older design but we assumed it made him look more mature and the bandages around his arm gave a sense of mystery to it. We also knew the ending was near so we looked forward to that as well. But we didn’t expect what would happen, eventually. When the final 2 chapters were released there wasn’t the satisfaction, the pleasure and the sense of pride we expected and it wasn’t  conclusion either. Instead of answering our questions the final chapter raised even more of them. Everything was suggesting to “watch the movie to understand” which is what Kishimoto sensei wanted so we did. Most of us thought that this was the Infinite Tskuyomi because everything seemed too unreal to be true. Another thing was that Naruto: The Last was promoted with Road to Ninja which we knew was for the IT and it lead us to think that it was that way.

The problems didn’t start with chapter 699-700 mostly but with the pre-sales. Thankfully I wasn’t patient enough to wait so much and decided to watch it later (not the premiere) because there was a crowd that would take at least 3 hours to get the tickets. I felt said because the tickets came with extra stuff with Kakashi, Naruto and Sasuke and everyone, of course, wanted to have them. I wasn’t lucky and patient enough for that but some of my friends did get them. After some time more and more commercials were shown and after the 30 minute special (she is talking about the time when they picked only some people and showed them 30 mintes of the movie) it was clear that this clearly wasn’t what we expected. The way that they promoted it was weird. They used Kakashi as a Hokage and there was a lot from Sasuke, we found out that Hanabi was in the movie so came to the conclusion that this is why Hinata plays a role in it. My friend is a big Naruto and Sasuke fan (talking about Narusasu, as a pairing, her friend shipped them) and all she wanted to see was action and Team 7. “The Last story is the First Love” line came out and everyone was thinking it was about Naruto and Sakura. The way they introduced Sakura in one of the commercials (talking about the “That beauty..ah yes, Sakura. For Sakura whose womanhood has increased Naruto surely is…” ) and since Naruto and Sakura were linked to Naruto’s parents, Minato and Kushina, we all thought we were going to see them of some sort. They even included that scarf that was between Hinata and Sakura but absolutely no one thought it was a Naruto and Hinata movie in the beginning. We didn’t even thought so much about the romance in the movie, most of us just wanted a good movie, that’s all. But then it became worse.

Like a Dream(P.4)

Title: Like a Dream(P.4)
Pairing: Robbie Kay x Reader
Warnings: N/A for this chapter.
Summary: Y/N lands the role of Peter Pan’s romantic interest in a movie-version of Once Upon a Time and Robbie tries to convince his co-actors that he doesn’t have the slightest interest in his new female counterpart.

This had to have been the first time in a week or two that I was offset without Robbie or Parker. It wasn’t exactly nice to not be around them, I really enjoyed hanging out with the two, but it made shopping a lot easier. I wasn’t as recognized just yet as Parker and Robbie were.

I noticed a picture or two being taken as I walked through the mall, but nothing to extreme. I was trying to get to the theater, though the mall was a lot more packed then I had thought. I really wanted to see the new Disney movie that just came out.

I should have invited someone to go with me, it felt awkward walking around alone now, especially since so many people noticed who I was from the trailer that came out.

Finally, I made it to the theater, hoping I wasn’t going to be late, hopefully I just had to deal with missing commercials, no problems there.

Standing in line, I heard a few people behind me chattering excitedly. At first, I assumed they were excited about the movie they were waiting to see, but as the excitement seemed to get a bit more spread out, I turned to see what the commotion was.

“Y/N!” I heard a familiar voice call out, pushing his way through the crowd, Robbie grinned, rushing over to me. Despite the crowd that seemed to follow him around like moths to light, I was actually relieved to see him.

I smiled brightly, being pulled into a small hug. “Sorry. You probably wanted to spend some time on your own, huh? I was grabbing some food with Parker and we saw you pass by.” He hesitated, smiling softly. “Uh..But anyways, hi.”

I chuckled, trying to ignore the whispers around us. “Hi.” I replied looking behind him to see Parker signing a couple autographs. “Least the crowds don’t slow him down.”

Robbie seemed to be distracted, his eyes staying on my face before he finally shook his head, running a hand through his hair. “Well, Parker loves it.” He laughed, looking at the ticket counter ahead of us. “What are you gonna go see?”

“Finding Dory.” I grinned a bit sheepishly, embarrassed that he caught me seeing such a childish movie.

He smirked. “Been wanting to see it, just haven’t had the chance…Mind if I steal you away to go with me? My treat.”

I tried to will the blush that wanted to touch my cheeks away. “Sure!” I swallowed. “I mean, I really didn’t want to go by myself, but…it just happened.”

“Should have texted me, silly.” He grinned, looking over his shoulder as Parker walked off with a brightly grinning blonde fan. “He’s distracted anyways.”

With a giggle, I turned to the ticket counter, letting Robbie buy us our tickets before we walked into the theaters together. As we made our way towards the correct door, Robbie took my wrist. “Hey…Can I ask you a question?”

I paused, watching a group of people pass us with curious expressions before they continued to their movies. “Of course.” I said with a smile, looking back up at Robbie.

He rubbed the back of his neck, glancing to the side. “I don’t know if you’ve heard what’s going on around set…”

“About us?”

He nodded. “Yeah…So you have heard it.” He gave a nervous laugh. “I just..What do you think about it? Not what they’re saying, but…us, what do you think this is?”

I tilted my head a bit, watching him carefully, before giving him a reassuring grin. “We’re friends, aren’t we?”

There seemed to be a moment of relief that washed over his face. “Yeah, of course…That’s it, right?”

I took his hand, pulling him towards the movie. “Certainly.”

He squeezed my hand with a chuckle and then followed me to take a seat. We were pretty quiet during the rest of the movie, only commenting every now and then on something. Like how darn cute Dory was as a baby. We shared some laughs and then Robbie got up to go get some popcorn cause he said it wasn’t a movie without popcorn.

The two of us munched on that for the rest of the movie, at some point, I had tugged the arm bar out of the way, complaining that it was uncomfortable before settling myself against Robbie’s frame. He didn’t complain or move, only bringing his arm out of the way and laying it over my shoulders.

As we watched the credits quietly, in case there was a short at the end, I thought about how he mentioned that we were friends. I agreed. Just friends.

This was my first movie, how would it look if I dated my counterpart on my first movie? But then I glanced down at how I was settled against his body and how he had his arm wrapped around me, holding me even tighter against him. Was this something friends would do?

We chuckled at the ending credit scene before sitting up a bit to gather our things and stretch. I stretched out my back almost like a cat, yawning softly as I turned my head towards Robbie, who seemed to have turned his head at the same time.

We were only mere inches from each other. He shivered, his eyes glancing down at my lips and then back at me. I could have leaned in and I almost did, but then I remembered what I said about being ‘just friends’. So instead, I gave a small laugh, pulling back while I cleared my throat. “That was a cute movie.”

Robbie took a moment longer to collect himself, but he stood up rather quickly once he did, scooping up his drink. “Yeah it really was.”

The two of us made our way out of the theater and back into the mall before Parker came rushing up to us. “You jerks!”

With wide eyed expressions, we both glanced at each other before looking back at Parker. “What?!” We asked in union.

He grinned. “Ditching me for some romantic rendezvous together. That’s so rude.”

I rolled my eyes, shoving him lightly. “There was no romance.” I corrected him, walking ahead of the two. “I’m gonna go get something at Cold Stone Creamery…Do you wanna go?”

Robbie grinned. “Yeah, of course.” He said, moving to follow after me, before Parker grabbed his shirt, holding him back.

“We’ll meet you up there in a minute, beautiful.” Parker winked.

Giving them both a suspicious look, I finally rolled my eyes before sauntering off towards the food court.

Robbie grumbled, shoving Parker’s hand off his shirt. “What was that about?”

“What do you mean what was that about? What was that about?!” Parker whispered, dusting off his own shirt from where Robbie brushed past him.

A roll of the younger boys eyes made Parker continue talking instead of waiting for an answer. “If that wasn’t a date, you very easily, could have texted me and told me to join.” He chuckled. “Did you pay for it?”

“Well yeah, but…That’s just the nice thing to do.” Robbie answered, trying to hurry back to the food court so he could avoid the conversation all together.

Parker grinned. “It was a date. Did you kiss?”

“Alm–No!” Robbie silently cursed himself for falling into that trap before turning on heel to face Parker. “We didn’t and I even asked her and she agrees. We’re just. Friends. That’s all.”

Parker almost looked like he was going to drop the subject, but just as Robbie turned back around, he opened his mouth again. “Friends don’t almost kiss.”

“Shut up.” Robbie rolled his eyes, catching sight of Y/N ahead of them. He nearly stopped walking at the sight of her. Her eyes lit up as her tongue ran over the frozen dessert, not even knowing she was being watched. Her bangs fell over to the side, covering her left eye just slightly. She pulled back, her lips plump from the cold of the ice cream, her tongue running back out to clean up the excess liquid that laid over the plump flesh.

He swallowed, looking to the side at Parker. “Well, now what?” He asked, shoving his hands in his coat pockets.

Parker raised a questioning brow. “Well, I told her we were just friends and she agreed. Right? That’s it? I can’t go back on that.”

Parker laughed, patting Robbie on the back. “You can if she feels the same way.” He paused, but then started walking towards Y/N. “And I think she does.”

Once again her eyes lit up when she saw us, the beautiful orbs falling on me as she smiled. “Sorry, you guys took to long and there wasn’t a line.”

Parker snorted. “You’re cute.” He replied before walking up to the counter to get himself a cone.

Robbie watched me for a bit longer and then followed Parker, walking beside me as he did. “Uh…Tomorrow is…”

I swallowed, blushing softly. “I know. I was thinking about that. What are you guys doing tonight?”

With a cone in hand, Parker shrugged, taking a bite. “Don’t know, Robbie was gonna come over to my place.”

He nodded, being handed his ice cream. “What about you?”

“No plans…” I said, licking at my cake batter ice cream.

“Well…Do you want to come over to Parker’s? We can practice our lines.”

Parker almost choked on his ice cream, laughing softly. “What, practice your moans?”

I blushed brightly, my eyes wide. “Parker, shut up!”

Robbie chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck as well. “He’s an idiot, you just have to learn to ignore him.”

With a grin, Parker led the way out of the mall. “Well why don’t we stay at Robbie’s then. It’s bigger then mine so it makes more sense.”

I nodded, looking over at Robbie. “Sure, we can do that.” Robbie replied. “How about we meet there around…Five?”

Parker and Robbie both gave me a hug before heading off to their own vehicles. I headed back to my own and got in, planning to get home for a shower and to pack my stuff. My mind was still pulling me towards my conversation with Robbie and our almost kiss.

I kept pushing the thought away, but I was more concerned about my feelings for him and how they were developing mostly because of the scene we were to have tomorrow. It wasn’t like we hadn’t kissed before.

Well I mean our characters had. It was different though if we actually kissed off set. Right?

When it was time to head to Robbie’s my mind was a battlefield of emotions and worries. My anxiety seemed to be through the roof, but I was able to calm myself with some music as I drove over to Robbie’s apartment.

I knocked on his door a few minutes later, he opened it, looking a bit nervous as he let me in. “Where’s Parker?” I asked, glancing around. His apartment was pretty well kept for a boy, save for his dirty laundry scattered on the bathroom  floor.

He shut the front door behind me and frowned. “He..He ditched. Totally ditched. I don’t believe him for a second.”

I raised a brow as I looked towards Robbie. “Believe him about what?”

“That he’s sick or something.”

“Oh yeah, totally don’t believe him.” I said with a chuckle. I set my stuff down on the floor and then turned towards him, before the realization of why he seemed so worried finally hit me. “Oh.”

He gave a sheepish smile and then cleared his throat. “Yeah, well. No big deal right? We’re friends, aren’t we? We can practice the lines, play some video games.”

I nodded, smiling softly as I pulled out my script. “Can I keep my clothes on?”

He laughed, taking the booklet in his hand. “Yeah, I think we can use our imaginations for that part.”

Genre: “Fluff” and  Angst (Jungkook); Drama

Summary: You and Jungkook go on yet another movie date as a “couple”.

Other Parts: HERE

This is my GIF. I made it based off of this scenario series.

When the manager arrived, he escorted you and Jungkook to the van. The ride to the dorm was dead quiet. Jungkook sat in the passenger seat and you sat in the back by yourself.

At the dorm, Jungkook jumped into his shower and you used the hallway bathroom. After the shower, you went back to your room still wrapped up in a towel. You slipped on some underwear and a pair of black pants under your towel. Even though, there was only one other person in the dorm. You still felt like everyone was there. You wished that you didn’t rush to the shower and that you hadn’t forgotten to take a change of clothes with you so you can change in the bathroom.

You attempted to quickly unwrap your towel so that you could put on a bra and a random shirt. In that moment, Jungkook burst into your room. “Y/n, wear-“

You screamed. You immediately wrapped your towel around you again. “Jungkook! Get the fuck out!”

“Oh shut the fuck up! Don’t flatter yourself. Your body isn’t that great, believe me.” He was completely unfazed by the whole situation.

“Get the fuck out!” you pushed him out of the room and slammed the door.

You quickly put on something completely random, just something so that you were at least clothed.

Just as you pulled your t-shirt on, Jungkook busted into your room again. “Anyway! Like I was about to say.” He scanned you up at down, taking notice of what you were wearing. “Ok… First change that shit. Try to wear what I’m wearing. White shirt, blue jeans, brown shoes. If you want, you can wear a beanie too.” He turned to leave the room.

“Why can’t you try to wear the outfit that I want to wear?” you asked. It was obvious to him that you were already annoyed.

“One – my outfits never go out of style. Two – I’m already dressed. Three – I’m the one that’s the idol.” With that, he left your room.

You went through your trash bags of clothes. You found a white blouse, blue jean capris and a pair of dark brown flats. Since you had to iron your clothes, you decided to wear a beanie, to save time and avoid doing your hair. Then you pulled out your best make up and tried to work some magic.

It hadn’t even been ten minutes, but Jungkook was already starting to get impatient. “Hey! Are you ready?” He shouted into the hall.

“Wait!” You quickly finished your face and went out to the living room to meet him. “Let’s get this over with.” You huffed.

You both walked to the elevator, making a point to stand away from each other as you went down the building. You both walked outside, but the van wasn’t there.

“Where is he?” you asked.

“He went back to the company while we were getting ready. He’s on his way.”

“Why did he go back?”

“How the fuck should I know?”

You both stood silently as you waited for him.

“Hey. We are in public. Get over here.” He grumbled.

You moved closer to him. He sloppily threw his arm around your shoulders.

“Ouch!” you shrugged his arms off of you.

“Aish!” he grabbed your hand, making sure to interlock your fingers. “Get closer. You’re too far.”

You moved over to him, just close enough that your bodies were barely touching. It took about fifteen minutes for the manager to get to you guys. You went straight to the back seat and Jungkook jumped into the passenger seat

“Jungkook, go to the back.” The manager said.

“Why? Let’s go!”

“Go with y/n, you guys are “dating” remember.”

Jungkook mumbled under his breath and moved to the back with you. The whole car ride was quiet. The only thing heard was the music the manager was playing on the radio. Your nerves got worse and worse as you got closer to the theater.

At the theater, the manager parked as far as he could from the building. “You guys ready?” he asked looking back at the both of you through the rear view mirror.

You both sat nervously in your seats.

“What do we do if people crowd around us?” you asked the manager nervously.

“Jungkook knows what to do.” The manager said. “Now you two go off. You don’t want to be late to the movie.”

Jungkook slipped on a mask.

“What? A mask?  What about me?!?” your anxiety was getting worse.

“No masks Jungkook! People need to see you two.” The manager said sternly.

“Fine! C’mon let’s go!” Jungkook ripped his mask off and swung the van door open.

He stepped off the van and helped you get down, already going into fake boyfriend mode. You both held hands as you walked to the theater.

There were a lot of people at the theater, it made sense considering it was a Friday night. As soon as you two walked to the end of the ticket line, all eyes were on the both of you. You tried to hide yourself behind Jungkook. You could feel your face getting hotter and your palms getting sweater. You didn’t like the feeling of having so many people around you. You felt like they were analyzing your every move. You felt they knew you and Jungkook were just pretending.

“Aww, well isn’t my girl a shy one.” Jungkook said sarcastically.

“Oh my goodness!!! You’re Jungkook!!!”. Two teen girls came running up to the two of you. “We love you! We are huge fans! Can we get a picture with you? An autograph? Please!”

“Of course!” Jungkook smiled. He pulled you two out of line to talk to his fans. He let go of your hand. “This is only going to take a second jagiya.” He said to you sweetly.

“Oh! This is y/n!” one of the girls said. They both scanned you from head to toe. “She’s so… average.” You could see the disapproval on their faces. If you weren’t so used to Jimin’s insults, their words might have actually offended you, but that wasn’t the case.

“I like average.” Jungkook said as he signed their phone cases.

Jungkook then took selfies with both of the girls. He was a sly one though. Although he remembered to be cute with you, he couldn’t put a pause on his old ways. You noticed as his hands snaked lowly around their waists. He was acting the same way he did when you first met him at the fan signing. With every compliment they threw at him, his ego grew and grew.

After the pictures, both girls walked off blowing kisses at him. He cutely “caught” their kisses, but as soon as they turned around, he threw them towards his junk.

“Was that really necessarily?”. It had only been 5 minutes into this fake date and you were already so done with him.

“Aw is my girl jealous?” he asked. “I’ll take what I can get now that I’m stuck with you.”

“You’re a pig.” You whispered.

“Thank you!” he said cheerily. To make matters worse, he placed a kissed your temple.

You did your best to hide your disgust. “Shit bag.” You whispered.

“Wow! You’re just filled with compliments today aren’t you? My jagiya must really love me!” he said it loud enough for the people around you to hear.

He grabbed your hand and moved you two back in line. As you two waited in the long line, a few more fans kept going up to Jungkook. Every fan that came up gave you the same looks as the first two girls. By the time you two reached the ticket booth, Jungkook’s player confidence was at 100%, while yours was at about 2%.

“Okay I think we got enough done today.” Jimin said to the guys after they finished the last song choreo.

“Yeah, we looked good.” Jhope added.

“I guess we can go back to the dorm now. The manager is back from dropping them off.” There was some dread in Jimin’s voice.

The boys all dispersed and got their things ready to go.

“Yo, Yoongi.” Jhope whispered.

“What’s up?” Suga asked.

“Are you okay? Are you drunk or something? You looked a bit off today.”

“Nah, I just couldn’t concentrate that’s all.”

“Is it cuz of y/n? I’m worried too.”

“Yeah. She hates Jungkook. I can’t imagine what she has to put up with right now.”

With just your luck, the employee at the ticket booth was a cute female. You mentally prepared yourself for what Jungkook might do next.

“Next customer!” the girl called out.

Jungkook dragged you behind him as he walked up to the window. “Well, hello.” He smirked.

“Oh wow! You’re Jungkook! From BTS! I’m a big fan!” the words just bursted out of her. She was barely able to contain herself.

“And you’re the cutest theater employee I’ve ever seen, that makes me a big fan of you. Don’t you think she’s cute jagiya?”

“Yes, very cute.” You said giving her a smile.

The girl was so star struck all she could do was giggle.

“What movies are about to show right now?” Jungkook asked. Instead of looking just above her head for the movie times, he kept his eyes locked on her.

You noticed she blushed as she continued to giggle. “Um, well, there are 2 movies. One is Don’t Turn Off the Lights and the other is Just Another Day.” She said nervously.

Don’t Turn Off the Lights is a horror movie right? I’ll take two tickets for that one.” Jungkook smiled.

“No!” you exclaimed. You cutely grabbed on to Jungkook’s arm. “Kookie, I don’t like scary movies.” You pouted.

“Aw, but baby, I’ll be here to protect you.” he smirked.

“What is the other movie?” you asked the girl.

Just Another Day? You don’t know that movie? Have you been living under a rock? It’s the biggest rom-com of the season!” she was honestly so shocked that you never heard of the stupid movie.

“Jagiya, how could you not know this movie? I could have sworn I overheard you and the stylist talking about it the other day.” This boy really loved making you look like an idiot.

“Oh… Oh! Can we see that one then?” you asked nervously. Your face grew hotter out of embarrassment.

“Anything for my jagiya.” He smiled.

He bought the tickets with the money that Rap Monster threw at him. He made sure to constantly brush his fingers over the girl’s hand every chance he could. That stupid smirk never left his face.

“I’m sorry if this is really weird, but can I get a picture with you through the glass?” The girl’s voice was so small you could barely hear her.

“Sure! How could I give up a chance to take a picture with such a beautiful ARMY?”

She giggled as she pulled out her phone and opened the camera and passed it to him through the hole in the glass. You could see his thumb glide across her hand a few times as he slowly took the phone from her.

“Just one second y/n.” he said letting go of your hand again.

He took a selfie with her, posing next to the glass at a certain angle so there wasn’t any reflection from the lights. Once they were done, he handed the phone back to her and held your hand again. You two left with the tickets, but Jungkook made sure to wink at the girl before he left her field of view.

Once inside, you two waited in yet another line to buy popcorn. With such a crowded area, you had no choice but to be stuck by his side.

“Well isn’t my girlfriend cute when she almost ruins our image.” He whispered.

“What are you talking about?!?”

“You looked pissed the whole time we were in line! And seriously how could you not know the what the fucking movie was?”

“How the fuck do you expect me to know the damn movie? I don’t have access to the fucking internet!”

“There’s a big ass TV in the fucking living room.”

“When do you expect me to watch it? When I slave away cooking and cleaning? When I’m following you guys everywhere? How about when I’m locked away in my room?”

“No need to be a bitch.”

“You’re one to talk. You’ve been flirting with practically every girl you come into contact with.” You whispered angrily.

“Flirting? No babe, that’s all fan service.”

“Yeah right! You’re such a stupid ass fuckboy.”

“You know just the right words to make me feel better!”

You stayed quiet. With his change in attitude, the more you got upset, the more it entertained him.

Jungkook ended up buys a large soda, large popcorn, and a few candies for the both of you.

“Ya! Yoongi calm down. Try writing or take a drink to take the stress off.” Jhope said.

The boys were already back at the dorm from practice. Jhope and Suga waited for y/n to get back from the date in Suga’s room.

“I can’t. What if she needs me afterwards? I can’t comfort her if I’m drunk.” He sat down on his computer chair.

“They’ll be fine.”

“Fine? Fine??? She’s with Jungkook! What if he tries to pull something on her? What if something bad happens?”

“You’re over thinking this.”

Suga slouched back in his chair. “Why did Namjoon make them do this?” he asked himself.

Jhope overheard him thinking out loud and didn’t realized that the question wasn’t directed towards him. “I’ve been asking myself the same thing… Well it’s obvious he doesn’t want Jungkook getting laid anymore. But, that seems like too light of a punishment of you ask me.”

“Yeah…” Suga didn’t say anything about it just being a thought to himself.

You two sat in the back of the theater like you two did on your first date.

“What did you think of the chick that sold us the tickets?” he whispered.

“What about her?” You asked stuffing your face with popcorn

“She was hot right?”

“I’m not going to answer you anymore.”

He heard what you said, but ignored what you were really saying. “You know… The movie is probably going to be really boring. Why don’t we do what real couples do at the movies?” You could feel him place his hand on your thigh and slowly move it higher and higher.

You slapped his hand away and threatened to walk out on him.

“Ugh, you’re no fun. You have been hanging out with Yoongi too much, you are becoming a tight ass just like him.

“The movie is starting! No need to talk, no need to pretend.” You said sternly.

“Must be that time of the month…” he muttered as he turned to the screen.

The movie was actually pretty bad. It was filled with clichés and it was extremely predictable. You loved every second of it. Well, not the movie, just the fact that you were at a movie. This was the first time in months that you got to be away from the BTS routine. Seeing a new movie felt so nice. The whole experience felt… normal. You really didn’t take this outing for granted. You rested your feet on the seat in front of you, you ate all you could before Jungkook had a chance to get to it, and you absorbed every second of the cheesy movie.

Sadly, after an hour and a half, the movie came to an end and reality set in.

“Let’s go jagi.” Jungkook said reaching out for your hand.

Jungkook pulled out his phone and called the manager to pick you guys up. When you two stepped out of the building there was a huge mob of ARMY waiting for Jungkook. They all screamed the second he stepped out the door.

“Looks like word got out that we were here.” Jungkook said. They were screaming so loud it sounded like he was whispering. Luckily, there was some security keeping the fans at bay.

“Jungkook!” “I love you!” “You’re so handsome!”

Jungkook waved to the fans and moved you two to the curb to wait for the manager. A few times he would turn around to wave again. Other times he would take your hand and make you wave to them. Things were fine until one fan decided to start some shit.

“I fucking hate you y/f/n y/l/n!”. Then some other fans started throwing candy, drinks, and popcorn at you. “You’re so ugly!” “Fat bitch!” “I’m going to kill you!” “You don’t deserve Jungkook!” Their hate moved onto Jungkook too. “Jungkook you liar!” “Jungkook we hate you!”. Remembering that he need to pretend to love you, Jungkook did his best to cover you as they continued to throw things at the both of you.

Security did their best to get the fans to stop, but it didn’t help much. It also didn’t help much when some other fans tried to come to your defense.

“Y/n is innocent!” “You don’t own Jungkook!” “Jungkook can date who he wants!” “Leave them alone!”

The disagreeing fans themselves soon began to fight each other. Security began to try and break the people apart. Jungkook tried to help by shouting “ARMY! Please calm down! There is no need to fight!” But the teens were too caught up in the drama to notice him.

“Just leave!” one of the security guards shouted.

Jungkook took your hand and you both ran. You ran as far as you could without exactly leaving the block. You passed a few businesses, before Jungkook pulled you into a convince store and asked the employee of you both could hide behind the cash register with him. You both were allowed to crouch down behind the counter and Jungkook called the manager about where you guys were hiding.

Within 15 minutes, the van was outside the store. You guys quickly ran to the van and jumped into the back seat.

“Well if it isn’t the happy couple. You two look really cute in those outfits… the food is a nice touch.” Rap monster laughed from the passenger seat. “You guys really made a splash didn’t you? Good job.” He said sarcastically

“Whatever. Let’s just go back home.” Jungkook huffed.

“Don’t worry about posting anything for now… I’m sure it’s all online already.” Rap monster smiled.

On the drive back you sat quietly and removed the bits of food from your hair and your clothes.

“You know y/n, for cooperating I’m going to give you a little reward.”

You looked at Rap monster.

“I won’t lock you in your room until 11:30 tonight.”

I was about 10 o’clock and he usually locked you in your room at around 11, so you had an extra 30 minutes to yourself tonight. “Why is he rewarding me? He made me do this. What does he have up his sleeve?” you thought.

Kollywood Rec List

I keep seeing people’s lists and everyone has such different tastes!

Personally, I fall hard for the stereotypical average audience-geared action/romance/comedies, but occasionally those films with an artistic touch pull me in, so this list is a balance of both.

Also, most of the movies on this list are newer, so I guess it’s good for starters or just people wanting a general taste. However I did include some “iconic” films so all those references make sense :)

Shoutout to the anon! I’m barely scratching the surface here.

Updated June 26 2017

Smart Action

Thupakki: just because a military man is on holiday, doesn’t mean he takes a break off work.

Thaandavam: a blind man’s revenge (the only revenge movie/arranged marriage movie I care about)

Arima Nambi: what happens when your average guy (as average as heroes can get, at least) finds out a politician is up to no good

Ko: one of my favourite movies, basically centers on the responsibility of a journalist and how the world sees itself through his camera

Kaththi: the film that really brought the plight of our farmers to light. Action with heart.

Thought Provoking

Vaayai Moodi Pesavum: you listen more to the people in your life when you can’t talk

Kadhalil Sothupuvathu Eppadi: same director as VMP, this one has a focus on romantic relationships
Nanban*: remake of the Bollywood film 3 Idiots, almost scene-to-scene identical.
Kaaka Muttai: finally, a movie about slums & poverty that isn’t white-saviour porn. It’s a cute and happy film about two slum kids who want to buy a pizza. This later won an award at TIFF.

Mariyaan: only here just to prove our cinema’s technical/artist talent, one of the most visually appealing films out there
Raja Rani: the only other arranged marriage movie I care about
O Kadhal Kanmani: a very tactfully done movie on the mystery that is a live-in relationship - especially in India.

A tip for Kollywood films: if it’s called an “epic romance”, everybody’s going to die and you’ll be sad.

Historical Fiction

Madrasapattinam: romance between a clothes washer and the daughter of a British governor.
Kaaviyathalaivan: follows the tales of two men in a theater troupe in British India. It’s sad. Very sad.
Raavanan (inspired by the epic Ramayanam

and of course, Baahubali parts 1 & 2, the pride and joy of South Indian Cinema (a fictional story inspired by various aspects of history & mythology, basically if you want a feel for what historical fiction is like without having to know anything this is a good movie. It also has the structure of a masala telugu film which is interesting).

Please for the love of god avoid all these random horror movies that have cropped up recently, the only good one is Pizza because of the plot twist at the end, and Maya since it’s a heroine-driven film.

Classics (now some of you will yell at me for putting post-2010 films on here but it’s mostly about the actors)

Vijay: Ghilli (good example of a masala film, everyone’s favourite), Kushi (romance - the kind where you’re yelling JUST TALK IT OUT ALREADY), Sachein (just.. watch it and smile), Thullatha Manamum Thullum (the title means ‘even the heart that doesn’t jump will jump’ and it’s a perfect title because it will make you cry and put you back together)

Kamal Haasan: Dasavatharam (it’s about biowar with the backdrop of religion), Vishwaroopam (the only film about muslims and terrorism I actually care about, really well done), Uttamavillain (basically the concept of the artist being mortal while the art itself is immortal), Anbe Sivam (watch watch watch), Vasool Raja MBBS (since all of these are so serious, this one’s a comedy)

Rajinikanth: just watch everything? tbh? this man is like the Beyonce of music  or Chuck Norris of hollywood action or whatever cultural epic icon you can think of. But Padayappa for sure since it has one of the most iconic villains of all time.

Suriya: Ghajini (later remade in Hindi, it’s a revenge movie about a businessman with memory loss), Silinu Oru Kaadhal (romance between an arranged couple and one later finds out he had a previous love, the lead couple got married right after this film was released and they’re the power couple of our industry tbh)

[TRANS] Harper’s BAZAAR March ‘16. Junho Interview

All this while we have underestimated Lee Junho. The impressive seven minutes in “Cold Eyes” made us keep our eyes on him, and in “Twenty” we became sure of his potential as a realistic young actor. He is now in the middle of filming drama “Memory,” and he says that it is still early to comment on his acting. The man who little by little emanates trustworthy presence, Lee Junho is exceeding the boundary.

Dear White People

So, tonight I went to see Dear White People with a good friend of mine.

citrine8, I’m typing fast so I can get back in bed so please excuse the choppy nature of this post, haha.

Anyway, as a black female who grew up in a predominantly white area,  I was extremely disappointed.

First of all, the movie offers no back story or lead up to the Dear White People broadcasts. Literally the first scene is Sam saying “Dear white people…” into a microphone.

I was hoping for some lead- up to her first broadcast, or some kind of commentary on the sort of treatment that black people endure at the hands of their white peers that would result in the broadcasts, but there was none. What was going on on campus that created the need for a Dear White People radio show? What did white people do to deserve that? In a well organized, linear storyline, these are questions that need to be answered.

The movie felt cursory to me. It was not direct, is had no satisfying resolution, and it glossed over a lot of issues. It was confusing at first to understand the opposing views of the various black students.

From my experience, white people have to be spoonfed the meaning of racism and how their actions are in fact, racist. So again, the lack of a lead up into the creation of the DWP radio show actually worked to the film’s detriment. Having the first scene of the movie be Sam reading into that microphone could lead someone who has never experienced racism to rationally deduce that she actually CAUSED the racism that took place thereafter. And by the way, a LOT of white people think that 1. Talking about race is what causes racism and 2. Racism isn’t real, so the organization of this movie was not well thought out.

The movie is called Dear White People after all. Even though WE know what we’ve dealt with, they don’t. I felt that the movie was directed more at black people than at white people, and that’s not helping anyone. We don’t need our struggle legitimized. We know what we’ve been though, we don’t need it put in surround sound to make it real. This Dear White People movie needed to break the black experience down in a way that WHITE PEOPLE would understand, which means A. Defining the problem B. Introducing a solution C. Climax D. Resolution E. Fin.

What *I saw was white people being gratified by the image of a black girl poking fun at her own people and condemning black voices.

What *I saw was white people using the n word to promote a party that might as well have been funded by The Future Klansmen of America.

What *I saw was black people denying their own oppression and being applauded for it.

What *I saw was black people appeasing their white peers by acting out stereotypes

What *I saw was an ending that articulated the idea that “if you fight for your rights you will lose. If you embrace your blackness will you lose.”

What *I saw was extremely racist behavior that went unpunished.

But did white viewers see what I saw? Probably not. Because the black experience was not pointed out, racist tendencies were not called out, and the truth about racism in society was not underlined. In a movie named Dear White People, white people were not adequately addressed at all. In fact, if there wasn’t a black person in the theater to punctuate certain behaviors displayed onscreen with either laughter or noises of contempt, I doubt a white person could separate the bad from the good.

When Lionel was getting his hair picked at by that white editor (an image curiously akin to a monkey being groomed), the audience was expected to laugh. There was no in-depth, “HEY, THIS IS FUCKING NOT OKAY.”

When that same white editor made a comment about Lionel’s blackness [“You’re only technically black”] There was again, no explanation or even isolation of the comment. The film just kept on going.

For white people who do this every day and don’t know why those kinds of comments are wrong or even that they’re wrong at all, this film just didn’t do its job, because it never even pointed out that it was wrong! There were other comments too, about “talking white”, etc. that were just written into the script with no admonishment.

Lionel himself at one point said he “talked white”. To me, that just helps white people justify saying it to more black people when they get out of the theater. Not once did someone stop to say “Hey, speaking with correct grammar and intelligence is not a white trait.”.

We had a real chance to make a statement about white privilege and racism and blackness in this movie, but the script missed all chances. One of Sam’s broadcasts actually was “Dear white people on instagram, we get it, you go to the gym and like drinking lattes.” REALLY? That’s where your priorities lie???

The film wasn’t thought provoking. Again, white people have to be spoonfed when it comes to racism. Here was our first real chance at slapping the facts in their face and instead we get this messy movie that painted Sam as a problem child who was just an “angry black woman” harboring an identity crisis who was CREATING race issues that “just weren’t there”. The way Sam was portrayed lessened her impact. Everything she said, no matter how true, was liable to be dismissed because the movie painted her as unstable and insincere.

They actually said in the movie that Sam probably longed for the days of lynchings so she’d have something real to be mad about.

As if racism doesn’t exist. As if black people aren’t getting shot down in the streets to this day. As if we aren’t stereotyped and laughed at and appropriated daily.

The sexualization of black women was not touched on.

Police brutality wasn’t touched on.

WHY “Talking white” IS NOT a THING was not touched on.

WHY blackface is wrong was not touched on.

Cultural Appropriation was not touched on. We got one line from a self hating black girl in a blonde wig. And by the way, I was not impressed by her line about “Why do black people have an obsession with donning blonde weaves, and white people like hip hop music? What is this symbiosis?” We don’t have an obsession with whiteness. Our relationship with white people and white culture is not and has never been symbiosis. A symbiotic relationship means that we feed each other. What do white people give us? Our preoccupation with light skin and hair straighteners and white-sounding names is not at all equal to white people liking hip hop music and getting ass shots. Our preoccupation is a survival method. Theirs is an updated method of dehumanization.

HOW RACISM EXISTS TODAY wasn’t touched on.

Instead the movie was just a hot mess of black kids apparently trying to recreate the black panther party for apparently no reason. And then they throw in some BS about Sam being half white and THAT’S the only reason she’s angry.

So they have her take down her hair and date her cute white boy and be happy with society and that’s the end? SHE was the problem?

The movie missed the mark for me.

The title of the movie was Dear White People and to be honest, I don’t think white people learned a damn thing from that movie.

So, back to Django i guess.

Civil War: About Sharon

***disclaimer: if you are a SteveSharon shipper, please do not read this post. This is a post about Sharon from the POV of a Stucky shipper through Stucky-rose colored glasses and I don’t want to offend anyone. ALSO. CACW SPOILERS FROM HERE ON OUT,

So. On that note. By god I fucking love Sharon Carter. Now as for everyone’s talking about - that kiss. Not only did I not mind the kiss, I think it was 1) absolutely vital to Steve’s character 2) shone this gigantic fucking spotlight on Stucky that honestly took my breath away. So if you’re feeling miffed about it, sit back and let me tell you why the SteveSharon kiss went from disappointed to holy shit wow, I thought I loved the Russos before.
