i’m rewatching supergirl s2 and unpopular opinion time, i think the reason mon-el was so widely hated by the fanbase is because we’ve come to expect a certain ideological and ethical purity from our superheroes, *especially* on supergirl, and mon-el’s character started off flawed and grew to be better, learning from supergirl, and most fans either weren’t here for it or didn’t have the patience/faith to watch him grow and develop
I had promised a KiriBaku kid something like months ago, and tbh most of the reason why it took me this long is because I couldn’t pick between these two so?? In the end just have them both I guess - some info about them under cut, in case you wanna know more!!
“I’m really glad you’re taking her, Harry, she’s so excited.” And she moved on down the table to sit with Dean. Harry tried to feel pleased that Ginny was glad he was taking Luna to the party but could not quite manage it. | Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
so lance is sitting crosslegged on his bed and keith is half in his lap, the back of his head resting against lance’s chest. lance is playing xbox or smth, arms wrapped around keith as he’s holding the controller. keith’s watching lance play, idly stroking his hands along lance’s forearms, backseat gaming occasionally. lance ends up winning the game with the final shot and the way he laughs in triumph as keith smiles and says “good job, sharpshooter”
& lance lets the controller drop and closes keith tighter in his arms, leaning them both to the side a bit and pressing rapid, sloppy kisses into his neck as he mumbles “my good luck charm”
Headcanon that after Andrew has graduated, Neil starts using the word home to mean wherever Andrew is.
It’s mostly fine, people figure it out eventually but it’s a problem when they want to actually know where he is at the moment.
Nicky: neil where r u?
Nicky: u could literally be at the north pole with andrew and you’d still say home just tell me an address
A little bit of Prey fanart, because that game has swallowed me whole. Morgan Yu (of course I picked the lady version, who do you think I AM) and a particular Operator I won’t name just because minor spoilers
Thank you Arkane, for all these good games with queer female leads. I feel blessed
the thing about Bakugou is that, in the limits that his personality allows, he’s soft for Kirishima - he calls him by name, listens to him and always answers him, tries to help him out as best as he can, accepts his help when Kirishima offers it, actively works to make him feel better when he’s down, never yells at him unless it’s an answer to Kirishima’s teasing, has no problems in complimenting him and pointing out his strength, he’s soft for Kirishima
he openly considers him a friend and treats him as such, he cares and doesn’t really try to hide it, though his inexperience in showing that sort of feelings does make him come off as awkward now and again
I guess what I mean to say is it’d be nice if the fandom could remember that, instead of writing him as angry and prickly and downright offensive and uncaring when dealing with what has been recognized by the canon as his best friend and someone he does enjoy the company of over and over again
