Selene and Endymion
Selene is the Titan-Goddess of the Moon and the daughter of the Titans Hyperion (Heavenly-Light) and Theia (Sight). Her siblings include the Titans Helios (Sun) and Eos (Dawn).
She fell in love with a Shepard-Prince named Endymion. He was known to be a very beautiful boy, so beautiful he caught the attention of Selene. He may have been a son of Zeus. Zeus granted him eternal youth and immortality. However, he put Endymion in eternal sleep and placed him near a cave near the peak of Lydian Mount Latmus. Selene was able to visit him each night.
With Endymion, she conceived Narcissus and The Menai, the fifty Goddesses of the lunar months. With Helios she also gave birth to The Horai, Goddesses of Seasons. And with Zeus she gave birth to Pandia (Full Moon) and Herse (Dew).
