A New Course: Part III
Stiles and Derek are back the next day, holding a rather large bag of “supplies” that Stiles offers to show her to prove they aren’t up to anything nefarious. Judging from how bright red Derek goes, she doesn’t think she has anything to worry about. She just makes a show of nodding seriously at them and looking interested before pulling them away to the sex cave.
She spends the rest of her day lounging on the other side of the island, re-braiding her hair, and reading sea scrolls.
Unfortunately, when she pulls them back to the ship that night, it’s clear their cover is blown. Which is understandable because Stiles is grinning like a self-satisfied idiot whose limbs still don’t appear to be working and Derek’s frown keeps sliding into a smirk, especially when his eyes catches on the row of hickeys that line Stiles’ neck.
“Stiles! Derek!” The Captain sounds furious as she yells down at them as the rowboat is lifted into the air. The two boys still don’t seem that regretful.
Really, she is surprised they managed to hide their activities for one day.
And then she is surprised because she finds herself hooking an arm over the edge of the boat, wrapping her tail around the spare rope, and allowing herself to be pulled upwards.
“You’re not allowed to kill them,” is the first thing she says.
