German Dog Breeds: Der Deutsche Kurzhaar-Vorstehhund. The German Shorthaired Pointer is a medium to large dog developed in the 19th century for hunting. It’s a versatile hunter, suitable for both land and water. The breed is streamlined yet powerful with strong legs that make it able to move rapidly and turn quickly. It was developed to be a dog suited for family life as well as hunting. Their temperament is that of an intelligent, bold, boisterous, eccentric, and affectionate dog that is cooperative and easily trained. They’re smart, friendly, willing, and enthusiastic. They’re also usually good with children, although care should be taken as they can be boisterous, especially when young. These dogs love interaction with humans and are suitable pets for active families who will give them an outlet for their considerable energy; they must be avidly run multiple times a week.
I love how this “great white” hunter decided it was ok to kill some persons poor dogs while hunting. He must feel like such a bad ass to gear up in hunter orange, then go slay this poor guys dogs, while the guy was hunting furiously for them not even 300 feet from where he killed them. Not only that but this perfect specimen of hunting prowess claimed the poor animals collars as trophy and then posed by them for pictures like he just killed a lion or some shit. This guy is a pure bread piece of shit.
Got to spend an hour under this lovely spruce tree waiting for a cougar that was following us to leave. I wish I was able to post longer videos for I have been recording most of her encounters with wildlife and how she deals with them.
This was on a hike form Copper to Doctor Creek, Doctors road in has been closed for years and usually a helicopter would make due. however a hike over a single ridge line did the job. This Goshawk was screaming at us the whole way through.
