i’m never going to shut up about this.

i saw a middle-eastern, muslim man on u.s. television depicted as a real human being. someone who faces struggle and tries to approach it with humor. someone who is kind and is capable of love. someone who has desires and seeks to give and receive affection. i saw a middle-eastern, muslim man on u.s. television who loves other men.

in fact i saw two muslim men depicted with such dimension and humanity. and i got to see them become intimate with one another. clothed to fully naked. from gentle touches to loving sex. all of it.

i don’t think some people understand how immensely important this was on so many fucking levels.

Earth's Dimensional Shift

Part of this chaotic phase is the simple result of the shift from one dimension of consciousness to another. As Earth and humanity move from 4th dimensional consciousness to 5th dimensional consciousness — which is outside the constraints of time and space as you collectively perceive them — there is a tension between the old world and the new world. You are right in the midst of this.

As more and more people experience paradigm shifts driven by sudden leaps in spiritual understanding, the old world is undermined. The new world with its new cultural, political and economic presuppositions has not yet blossomed, so you are in a kind of no-person’s land where the old views no longer work, but the new views have not yet come into usable expression. So this is one reason for the difficulties you are experiencing in this dimensional shift.

But there is another more insidious element at play here as well. There are vested interests that wish the old world of domination and control to continue, and they are using every means at their disposal to insure it.

The type of control we speak of is so pervasive and so much a part of the fabric of your society that it is often overlooked — which is exactly what those who wish to control you work toward. There is no one person or group of persons responsible for this type of control. It comes from many directions and sources. It comes from sources you might never suspect including religious, political and economic institutions. But the attempts to control you do not end here. Many of the manipulative elements in your world are also coming from interdimensional and intergalactic interference.

But regardless of their source, the days, so to speak, for those who are trying to control your destiny for their own selfish ends are numbered. The shift from 4th dimensional consciousness to 5th dimensional consciousness cannot be stopped any more than the dawn of a new day can be avoided. The evolution of consciousness on your Earth and of Earth, herself, is in the midst of a dynamic shift and you are a vital part of it.

Hey guys, I've been following you anonymously for years now and I love the way you go in depth about your own thoughts. So my question is what do you think Finns current arc is building to?

aw HECK yeah i wanted to write about this a couple weeks ago but never got around to it.

I wanted to make a post about open plot threads, and which threads the show would probably address in its limited 32 remaining episodes. A lot of my thinking for that post went into individual character arcs. LSP will probably get some closure about her place as princess of Lumpy Space. Betty and Simon will probably wind up together. PB mastering her candy powers and protecting her citizens. Stuff like that.

But Finn! I was kind of at a loss with Finn because I wasn’t sure what all there was left for him to actually do. He knows his parents, he’s found more humans. He could possibly seek again to bring them back to Ooo? The Guardian won’t be stopping them anymore, so future travels aren’t out of the question. But Ooo is a wasteland in Graybles 1000+ so whatever happens with that, if anything, seems like it might not have worked in the long run. Don’t know if that’s the road the show wants to take at the end.

The only thing that I know for certain will come to a boil and that he will have to address doesn’t actually have to do with him, but with Fern. Finn identifies himself within Fern now, and he is going to need to see the Finn within Fern prevail over the curse within Fern.

I’m not sure I see an external crisis that doesn’t even directly affect Finn as Finn’s series-defining arc, though, and it’s hardly something that I think the show would need to stretch over the final 32 episodes. So I took a look at Finn’s current place in the story aaaaaand season 8 so far has made it pretty clear where they’re steering him down the stretch.

He’s a helper. He acts as a doctor in Do No Harm, says it “feels right,” and then he meets his MOM the doctor. For the first time in his life. Whatever she tells him will have a ridiculously profound impact on him. And what does she tell him? That he’s a helper, too.

I don’t see his core character taking much more shape over this last stretch. He’s pretty much arrived at a really good place for himself. So what he still needs to DO is to help people. He needs to make sure everybody is okay.

The reason I didn’t see much for him to do at first glance is because the thing that will ultimately threaten everyone’s okay-ness is still hidden. It could be Sweet Pea, with the Lich inside of him. It could be whatever Patience St. Pim is planning with the Elementals. Could be the Ice Thing or the Crystal Dimension, or maybe Fern loses his internal battle to the curse and Finn has to deal with that. Could be something else entirely. There’s a threat - a number of threats - lurking on the horizon and waiting to strike. All that’s left for Finn to do is to do his best to make sure everyone’s okay.

His character arc could take a twist if he at some point FAILS to make everyone [cough cough Jake] okay, but at the end of the day, I think he’s a helper and that’s what this has all built up to.

My dream show would be dragon tales except that u made it

Two kids enter a world of dragons to escape from human life, but after the glitz and glamour of Dragon Land fades as they get accustomed to it they realize The land is a  corrupted world under the thumb of reptilian lords and all the ills that plague human life, in a dimension with physics and mathematics incomprehensible to the human mind.

They also learn that the the human Earth and the known universe is but the dream of a great coiled serpent that all of Dragonland rests upon. Anything in Dragonland that rings familiar and like their life back on Earth is only cause Earth is a hollow fabricated memory and an incomplete recreation of the world of dragons.

The kids, when the weight of Dragonland gets too harsh, can retreat back into the “real world”, but the world true to them is but a temporary dream and a false image of reality. When the world serpent wakes. All of humanity will exist as only forgotten thoughts and memories of the serpent, and all of Dragonland will be crushed under the Immense being’s coils as it tries to ascend elsewhere. 

The art style would remain exactly the same

The popular filmmaker, inventor of crazy concepts, who reigns on global entertainment for ten years, is back. But this time, Nolan is naked : without his magic tricks or his theoretical scrolls. Farewell the world of dreams of Inception, the upside down editing of Memento or the black holes of Interstellar. Dunkirk tells the story of a handful of routed soldiers (Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Harry Styles …) stuck on a beach, between the Channel’s gray and angry sea and the Germans who fire. A real, brutal, anxiety-provoking and authentic war film. Really ?

Naturally, as always with him, it’s a little more complicated than that … “I guarantee you there’s no SF,” he laughs, welcoming us into the editing room. For its hardcore fans who rewatch frame by frame the two available trailers, to see when the film can twist. No: “Dunkerque will be faithful to events, the reality of history and the reality of places. ”

Perhaps this is where the most “Nolanian” aspect of the project nests. Some people still wonder if, at the end of the dream of Inception, the spinning top continues or not to turn. The same is true for the Operation Dynamo (code name of the evacuation of May 1940). For some people, Dunkirk’s rescue was a victory (340,000 soldiers saved while Churchill was expected ten times less); For others, it was a terrible humiliation (“War is not won with evacuations,” declared the same Churchill). This is this weird episode of the phoney war that Nolan chose to tell through the fate of aviators, sailors, soldiers and civilians. A story full of ambiguity, ideal to play with the genre. There’s always been in this man a desire desire to refuse the constraints of narrative logic, to explode into a thousand pieces the linearity of storytelling. Whatever the genre he confronts, his cinema is based on an art of rhythm and editing that allows him to deploy his incredible immersive mechanics. And that’s what we witness when we get into the editing room at Warner Studios. We see Nolan at work. We see it deconstruct a plan, subtly modify a sound to boost an image and make it indelible (his sense of frame is intact), all with a virtuosity of a killer who knows as well mix formats (prologue mixing 70 mm and IMAX is a visual madness) that learn his job to the most experienced sound engineer. It is this moment that he chose to welcome us and lift the veil (In Premier exclusivity …) on Dunkirk.

PREMIERE : I was very surprised to see how accurate you were in sound mixing. Can you explain what you were doing? 

NOLAN: It’s pretty simple in reality. In the room, the editor on the left is dealing with the music of the film. The other on the right the sound effects.  And at this stage, we ensure the balance, the mix between these two flows. It’s a very subtle process, but when we add these two elements (music and effects), working on hundreds of sound details, we finally define the tone and cohesion of the film.
