Imagined character intros for MKX: Part 2

Johnny Cage: Are you getting angry?
Kotal Kahn: Is it not obvious?
Johnny Cage: Thought you would turn green or something …

Jax Briggs: I heard Top Gear wants you on their show.
Johnny Cage: As a presenter, right?
Jax Briggs: As the Stig - the silent role.

Kung Lao: What are you doing here, Johnny Cage?
Johnny Cage: All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy.
Kung Lao: Fighting with me will make you a dead boy.

Cassie Cage: Can Jacqui come out and play?
Jax Briggs: She’s got prior commitments.
Cassie Cage: No sweat, you’ll do instead.

Johnny Cage: You remind me of a song.
Mileena: Enlighten me before I end you.
Johnny Cage: The theme from “Jaws”.

Takeda: Did Jacqui say anything about me?
Cassie Cage: Why bother asking when you could’ve read my mind?
Takeda: There’s not enough for me to work with.

Kung Jin: Hey, Tacky.
Takeda: You did not just insult my style.
Kung Jin: Didn’t think you had any style.

Jacqui: Hey, Soul Sister.
Ermac: Do you mock us, child?
Jacqui: Surely you’re packing at least one female soul?

Johnny Cage: What’s the gist, Legolas?
Kung Jin: You’re in my way, Mr Cage.

Wanna One as (the literal) Avengers (but with a twist)
  • Kang Daniel: Captain America but gets distracted in battle because he's petting cats.
  • Park Jihoon: The not-so-serious Hawkeye that high-fives Jinyoung everytime he hits something (which is nearly all the time).
  • Lee Daehwi: Black Widow but constantly gets a wedgie because his suit is too tight and dances while doing one on one combat.
  • Kim Jaehwan: Agent Coulson but always accidentally grabs his guitar instead of his gun as a first reaction. "Jaehwan you can't shoot people with that" Jaehwan: /looks down at guitar/ "oh right my bad".
  • Ong Seongwoo: Thor but pretends his hammer is a baseball bat and tries to hit a homerun during battle.
  • Park Woojin: Spiderman but doesn't know how to crack good jokes. Apologises to the bad guys when he ties them up.
  • Lai Guanlin: Iron Man but Jarvis speaks in Chinese. Moonwalks while he's in the air and whistles to Troublemaker while he's fighting.
  • Yoon Jisung: Falcon but says "I believe I can fly" everytime he's about to take off. Screams way too loudly over the intercom when he's in trouble.
  • Hwang Minhyun: Nick Fury but gets embarrassed and shy after shouting orders to the team. Walks around the office in his black suit because he likes to scare people.
  • Bae Jinyoung: Quicksilver but gets motion sickness and has to squat down in a corner and puke from time to time.
  • Ha Sungwoon: The Hulk but shrinks back down to his normal size everytime he gets embarrassed. Still has really good complexion when he turns green.
  • Requested by anon.
  • Leave me requests under "Messages"!

So we ended up spending like 6 hours trying to dye my hair blonde (and my scalp is fried but my hair is softer than ever???) and the cut itself only took about an hour. But also it’s past midnight, so any blue hair dying is going to have to be saved for another day

But I can physically feel the gay increasing in my body and I’m so excited!!

Nyrandrea here! So…I wrote a thing for @shinyzango’s Batim 2D AU. If you like the game and like cute, fluffy, inky stuff then please check it out!

The wooden hallway was dimly lit, the flickering lights weren’t helping at all. The walls were splattered with black ink. Why the Hell did he come to this place again?

Oh yeah, because his ‘pal’ Joey had decided to write to him after what, thirty years? It was completely out of the blue and the guy wasn’t even here, that should have been his first warning sign to leave, but something just…made him go in. Was it curiosity? Stubbornness? He honestly couldn’t even tell anymore.

“Huh?” Henry blinked and looked down to the piece of paper he was holding.

“Ugh” The small animated cartoon crossed his arms and tapped his foot in an annoyed manner. “Were you even listening to me?”

The man smiled nervously. “Sorry Bendy…What were you saying?”
Bendy sighed and shook his head. “It’s fine. Never mind.” He gave the grizzled man a worried frown. “Are ya alright? You seem pretty…distracted.”

As he continued to walk down the seemingly endless hallway, he glances up to check for any danger, his grip tightening on the axe in his other hand while doing so, before looking back down to Bendy again.

“I’m fine. Just…tired is all.”

The small cartoon looked even more worried now. “Well you oughta rest then! There’s an office nearby that should be pretty safe-“

“No. We have to press on.” He interrupted as he turned a corner, walking into a large room. “Those ink…monsters are probably still around, we need to keep moving”

Bendy didn’t seem pleased with Henry’s response. “Hey, you may be all macho tough but even you’ve got yer limits. You gotta rest, Henry.”

Henry sighed. He was normally a patient man but right now he was on edge, every shadow and ink splatter looked as though it was about to pounce on him and he was not in the mood to bicker.

“I said I’m fine.”

“Just drop it already!” He scowled down at the small demon, his hand gripping the paper slightly.

Bendy’s expression quickly went from worried, to shock and then to hurt. He looked down slightly.

“A-alright…” He said in a small voice.

The older man instantly regretted what he had done.

'Christ, Bendy’s only concerned for my welfare and I respond by being a complete dick.’ Henry thought to himself.

It was true, ever since he ‘met’ the small 2D drawing on the wall, the only thing he was concerned with was getting Henry through the workshop in the safest way that he could. Granted, it wasn’t entirely possible with the Searchers, the musician turned madman, Sammy and the other, more monstrous version Bendy in their way, but even then the demon protected him by absorbing the ink around him and emerging from the page as…well… as another monster, and it had scared the ever living crap out of Henry when he first saw the transformation, but now he was grateful for it.

Henry looked back down to Bendy, who was now sitting on the line that the man had drawn for him with his knees against his chest, looking a little sullen.
He sighed, he should apologize.

“Bendy, I-“

His eyes widened as he suddenly heard an unearthly screech, he quickly turned to look for the source when something wet slapped against his ankle and gripped hard.

He went to swing his axe at whatever was on his ankle when it yanked forward, causing him to lose his balance and slam hard onto his back.

The back of Henry’s head hit the wooden floor with a sickening thud, making his vision go blurry. There was also a constant ringing in his ears, he couldn’t make sense of anything for a few seconds.

That was all the Searchers needed.

They were instantly on him like a pack of wolves, their bodies slithering around him as they started to form a large puddle around him. The strong stench of the ink was unbearable.

He weakly raised his axe to strike back at them, but a dripping black hand reached out from the puddle, wrapped itself around the handle and wrenched it away from him, sending it flying down the corridor.

This was it then. This was how he was going to die.

Henry breathed heavily as the ink formed around his body, he could still faintly make out their gaping mouths and hands forming out of the puddle, like some sort of horrific black abomination.

Wait. Bendy. Where was he? Was he alright? The piece of paper must have slipped out of his hand when he fell. Henry turned his head as best as he could despite the weight that was forming around his body, but he couldn’t see it. Maybe the paper had floated to a safer distance.

God, he hoped so.

Black was forming around his field of vision. The pressure of the ink mass was making it harder for him to breathe.

'End of the line.’ The man thought to himself, smirking slightly to himself. ‘What a way to go.’

He closed his eyes as the Searchers fully consumed his body.

The moving had stopped.

‘Am…Am I dead?’ Henry internally questioned to himself.

No, that was far too quick. Did something happen? What made them stop?

Henry got his answer as he felt something large wrap around him and pull him upwards.

His eyes widen as he gasps for air, his vision was still blurry, especially now since ink was dripping down his face, but he could still hear the Searchers screeching and a very low, deep growl.

He felt himself being lowered to the floor gently before hearing an onslaught of loud thuds, agonized cries and screeches, and lastly, a sickening splatter.

As much as he wanted to get up and see what was going on, he was simply too weak. His head was throbbing, his lungs ached and as much as he didn’t want to admit it, his age wasn’t speeding up his recovery as much as he would have wanted, so he simply laid there as the noise died down.

For a few moments there was silence, the only sounds that filled the room was his deep breathing and the slithering of something coming towards him.
He felt a large hand prod at him and a low whine.

Henry lifts his head slightly and opens his eyes a crack, smiling weakly when he sees the hulking head and single eye of Bendy.

“Heh…you saved me again, buddy.”

The eye lights up and the monster’s large grin widens as he makes a noise of what seems to be a mix of happiness and relief.

Henry smirks and tries to pick himself up, only for his arms to buckle under the weight, his smirk quickly changing into a grimace.

“Damn it…!”

He grunted as he felt two large inky hands carefully wrap around him and set him up against a wall. Looking up into the concerned face of Bendy, he feels even more shitty about the way he spoke to the demon before the attack.

“Hey, don’t worry about me…I’ve survived worse.”

His voice had a hint of doubt but this seemed to satisfy Bendy nevertheless, as the hulking ink mass turned his back to him to watch the room.

Henry narrowed his eyes in confusion at first but it soon dawned on him, Bendy was guarding him.

He frowned. He was grateful for the concern but he knew that this form that Bendy took had it’s limits, he couldn’t stay like this for long without consequences.

“Bendy…” Henry started. “You should go back onto your page.”

The only response he got was a grunt. The demon wasn’t budging.

“…I’m…I’m sorry about earlier…I shouldn’t have raised my voice at you…”

It was only slight, but Bendy tilted his head slightly towards him.

Taking a breath and looking down, Henry continued. “You’ve been… so damn dedicated to my safety and always put yourself at risk to save my sorry ass…and…you’re the only friend I’ve got down here. Yet I was still a complete jerk to you…and for that, I’m sorry. I…I really am.”

Bendy seemed to ponder this for a moment before fully turning to face the man, lowering his head to Henry’s level.

He blinked in a surprised manner when he felt a gentle, wet, inky bump on his forehead.

Did…did Bendy just nuzzle him?

The hulking demon raised himself back up to his full height, leaving a large black splotch on top of Henry’s face, and nodded.

All was forgiven.

Henry didn’t’ know what to say, so he simply nodded back in silent understanding.

His aching body was starting to feel a tad bit better, but he was still too weak to stand, and Bendy knew this, so he resumed his guarding position, making Henry frown once more.

“Bendy…” He sighed. “Fine, if it makes you feel better. But only for five minutes, alright? Then you need to get back on the page.”

He didn’t get a response but he knew Bendy had heard him.

Sighing, Henry closed his eyes slightly and relaxed slightly for the first time in what seemed like days.

At least he knew he had a friend he could fully rely upon.

Was that angsty enough for ya? Maybe I could turn this into a series of one-shots? Let me know what y'all think!

A boy slipped into his cell.

Hulk stood, growling, and lifted his fists, because humans were rarely good news. He’d thought he’d scared them off for a while but this one–this one was either very brave or very stupid. Hulk was going with the very stupid option.

But then the boy whimpered, and skittered behind him into the dark corner, curling up into a little ball. Hulk could hear the sounds of booted feet stomping down the corridor at a run. He remembered that humans weren’t just cruel to monsters; they were cruel to each other, too.

So he plopped down in front of the boy, hiding him from view, and growled when the soldiers stopped in front of the glass wall that imprisoned him. They peered inside, shuffling their feet nervously, and he considered growling at them just to see them jump, but decided against it; he didn’t want them to try to punish him and find the boy.

The soldiers moved on. Hulk didn’t move until the soldiers came back, visibly angry even despite their masks, and then passed his cell again.

When he couldn’t hear them any longer, he turned, the bulk of his body hiding the boy from the cameras. He was… small. Not child small, but not as large as the soldiers outside. He was shaking, arms circled around his knees, hands clutching at his ripped jeans with white knuckles. There were bruises on his forearms.

Hulk did not like it seeing frightened people bruised.

The boy peeked up at him, eyes wet, but he stubbornly didn’t let any tears fall. Hulk reassessed: the boy was very brave. Stupidly brave, because he hadn’t known what Hulk would do to him, but Hulk could smell monsters on him, so clearly this boy trusted their kind.

“You… okay?” Hulk asked, voice raspy from lack of use. He hadn’t done anything but roar in… he didn’t know how long. There were no windows down here.

The boy’s breath hitched, and he leapt at Hulk like some sort of frog, slamming into his stomach and clutching at him. “No-! ‘m not okay!”

Hulk stared down at him, frowning. He could feel the boy trembling. After a moment, he placed one of his hands on the boy’s back. It engulfed him, but the boy just snuggled closer, sniffling quietly.

Hulk scowled. He would protect this boy.

Four pairs of green eyes glowed at him through the dimness of the hallway. Hulk sneered back, standing, and carefully keeping the boy out of view.

A spider slowly slid down from the ceiling on a thick piece of silk, the red on its belly bright and deadly. It skittered over to the number pad that controlled the locking mechanism of his cell, legs delicate and spindly. There was the sound of beeping and then a loud, deep sound. The spider reared back, hissing, and hairs shot out of its back, impaling the wall behind it. It caught the number pad between its mandibles and crushed it.

Hulk tried not to look too judgmental. He didn’t know if he managed it.

The spider noticed him looking and lifted its front pair of legs at him threateningly, hissing. It skittered on its other six legs to the side, eyes flicking back and forth through the cell.

Hulk remembered that the boy smelled like monsters and cautiously took a step to the side to show the boy. If nothing else, he would have no problem squishing a bug.

The spider hopped up and down, front legs waving and tapping on the glass.

Hulk put a finger to his lips, because the boy needed to sleep, so he could heal. He had bruises on his ribs that looked like the bottom of the boots the soldiers wore.

The spider stopped hopping to stare up at him balefully.

Hulk was embarrassed to admit he jumped when the spider lunged at the glass, the claws at the ends of its mandibles smashing holes into it. Then he watched, somewhat amazed, as a green, viscous liquid was sprayed across the glass.

He saw the smoke before he heard the sizzle, and slowly a hole began to open up. The spider clicked at him threateningly as he approached but skittered backward.

Hulk decided that this spider was clever. So often other monsters would try to fight him. He had no doubt that this spider would fight, of course; it obviously cared about the boy. But it was a smart spider. It observed before it attacked.

The venom tickled against his palms as he grasped at the hole. He tugged, and pieces of the glass broke away in large chunks. He made sure to wipe all the venom off on what was left of his pants before he lumbered over and carefully scooped the human up.

The spider skittered forward again, hissing threateningly, but Hulk just carefully eased the boy through the hole and carefully set him on the floor. The spider paused to stare up at him before it began to carefully poke the boy.

Hulk grunted, but the boy did not look afraid when he woke up and was faced with a giant spider.

“Natasha!” the boy exclaimed, then flinched when Hulk shushed him and the spider hissed. “Sorry.”

The spider clicked its mandibles fondly and used it’s front four legs to gather the boy up against her belly, his skin pale against the red hourglass. When the boy lifted his hands to hug her back, her third pair of legs pushed his arms back down. Her hair would have hurt him.

When the spider retreated, the boy stood, legs shaking. He turned to look back at Hulk, eyes wide and hopeful. “Are you coming with us?”

The spider stiffened and shot hair at the wall again.

Hulk snorted, reluctantly amused as the spider hissed and skittered in angry circles around the boy, waving her front legs at him menacingly. “No.”

“Natasha’s all bark and no bite,” the boy insisted, and did not notice the way the spider stopped to turn and glare at him in disbelief.

Hulk shook his head, the smile tugging at his mouth unfamiliar. He hadn’t smiled in a long time. “You go,” he ordered. “Follow spider.”

The spider whipped around to glare balefully again, but its back relaxed enough that it wouldn’t start shooting its hair again. ‘I don’t need your help,’ it seemed to be saying. ‘But I can’t stop you from giving it.’

“But what about you?” the boy asked worriedly, wringing his hands.

Hulk tilted his head as a klaxon began to ring out, and the hallway started flashing a red light. The spider made a terrible noise and began shifting, a humanoid body appearing out of its abdomen, back still covered in hairs.

She wrapped two hair-covered arms around the boy and looked around just a touch frantically. Hulk got the impression that she’d come in to sneak him out, and the alarms had just ruined her plans.

Well. He couldn’t let the humans hurt this boy again, who was guilelessly clutching back at the spider, unafraid of her, unconcerned for her stiff, sharp hair or clicking mandibles.

So Hulk smashed his way through the rest of the glass and let out a roar that had the spider woman skitter backward in terror and the walls to shake, charging down the hall toward the group of soldiers running toward them.

He heard the boy cry out, heard the spider hiss at him to shut up because this might be their only chance to escape, and then turned his attention back to the soldiers, backhanding the ones that approached him first.

Tony, for all that he professed that he was fine, that he was okay, stop smothering me, couldn’t stop shaking for quite some time after they got him home.

Clint had been waiting for them when Natasha had pushed him up and out of a basement window. Steve and Bucky were patrolling the perimeter, and had grimly told Clint to take Tony home before returning for them. Tony had tried to argue, but the thing about the monsters being so big was that it was easy to manhandle him. Natasha wrapped him in silk so he couldn’t fight back and put him in the harness he’d created for Clint to fly him home.

Clint hadn’t stopped to take the silk off him before he left to go get the others. Tony was kind of glad. It was like being wrapped tightly in a blanket. He’d hidden in his closet until someone else got back though.

They’d taken him on his way home, run him off the road, and he’d been so afraid, so terrified that he was going to die like his parents did–and then they’d started beating him for not building weapons and he’d wished he had.

For all that the monsters had trouble with the passage of time, they’d noticed he hadn’t come home, and Bucky had used his sensitive nose to track them down once night had fallen.

It was the first kidnapping after his parents’ death, the first where they’d really hurt him because Howard was more likely to fuck shit up when Tony was returned bruised. He had trouble sleeping at night, remembering his terror as he was driven off the road, as he was pulled from his car and stuffed into the back of a van, as they’d beaten him and as he’d fled, as he’d found that giant green monster and hidden behind him.

Natasha had scolded him, her eyes still slightly round with terror. The monster had been made up of rage and little else and it could have squashed him like a grape. Tony had nightmares of the monster doing just such a thing, crushing him between two giant fingers, or instead standing aside and letting the soldiers take him again.

So when the monster showed up one day, looking no worse for wear, Tony had to try very hard to not be afraid of him.

Hulk stared at him, then smirked a little. “Spider lady told you about Hulk?”

Tony hunched his shoulders, ashamed, because this monster had helped him in reality, and he had no idea why he wasn’t groveling and thanking him. “’m sorry.”

Hulk reached out to poke his shoulder, making his entire body rock backward. “Hulk take care of soldiers.”

“Oh,” Tony said softly, and felt bad for being relieved, because it was clear that by ‘take care of,’ Hulk meant they were dead.

“Sleep,” Hulk said, as gently as he could muster.

Tony nearly burst into tears, because how could this monster know he was having nightmares? “Okay.” Then he screamed as Hulk began to shrink, skin turning from green to pink, eyes turning brown.

The other monsters burst out of the house just in time to watch a human man drop to his hands and knees, vomiting, and Tony was still screaming in terror.

“It was my fault,” Bruce explained, voice rough. “I was messing with something I shouldn’t have been, got caught by radiation. I haven’t always been a monster.”

The group continued to stare at him, gaping. Tony’s coffee had gone cold and he hadn’t even taken a sip of it.

“The army caught me, of course,” he added, mouth a grim line. “After I’d leveled a small town.” He paused. “That was… what, nineteen-sixty-two?” He looked at Tony, frowning. “How long was I down there?”

“…It’s nineteen-ninety-five,” Tony whispered, horrified.

Bruce tilted his head, frowning. “Thirty-three years. It feels like yesterday and a hundred years ago at the same time.”

“That happens,” Steve said, shrugging. “The passage of time is strange when it doesn’t affect you. Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday that Tony was a toddler.”

Bruce nodded, then sighed, suddenly feeling exhausted down to his bones. “Is it alright if I stay here? Until I figure out who I can contact.” He paused, staring out the window, but not seeing anything. “I’m more Hulk than Bruce now. Maybe I should have stayed in that cell.”

“No!” Tony blurted out immediately. “You can stay here forever if you want to! You protected me, so I can protect you!”

Bruce turned a tired smile on him. “You’re going to give your friends ulcers.”

“Probably,” Tony admitted as the monsters quietly whispered amongst themselves about what to do if Bruce–or the Hulk–ever got out of hand.

“What’s an ulcer?” Bucky asked, distracted.

Tony sighed and rolled his eyes. Bruce managed to huff out a laugh; his first one in over thirty years.

Say It (3/8)

Part 1, Part 2 Part 4

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader

Words: 3.991

Summary: Bucky wakes up.

Warning: Angst

A/N: Sorry if this chapter is a little off, I love you all so much, and thank you for all the looove <3. I suck at the summary, really do need to find myself something properly! :*

Bucky vividly remembered the first time he had seen you. Steve had been introducing him to everyone, and when his eyes had zeroed in on you, he felt an instant pull. He didn’t know what it was, but his first guess was your sincere, heartfelt smile. He hadn’t seen anyone smile like that towards him for as far as he could remember, and to see you smile towards him like that just made him want to be near you. When Steve had introduced you, Bucky had hoped to hear if your voice was as sweet as your smile, but you hadn’t said a thing. Instead, you had just continued to smile in his direction, nothing else.

Bucky had been confused but didn’t want to press the matter, he had after all just arrived, and he didn’t want to come off as rude. So he waited, waited until you would help him like every other member of the Avengers did, and you did, the smile you sent his way each day was like the sun rising in the morning sky, slowly lighting up all the dark corners of life. But you never spoke to him. Not once, and even though Bucky never voiced it out loud, he wondered why you didn’t want to speak to him. He knew it wasn’t because you hated him or were afraid of him. If that had been the case, he’s pretty sure you would be running from him every time you saw him, instead of offering him a smile that reached one ear to the other and reflected so beautifully in your eyes. But it was exactly your smile which made him wonder why you never wanted to speak to him. He had tried gathering his guts many times to ask you, but every time the opportunity arose, he found himself afraid of scaring you off. He didn’t want to lose seeing that smile every day, so he kept quiet, returning your warm smile every day, hoping you would approach him one day.
