I thought I would share a few pictures from my degree show at Hoxton Arches in London, which took place last week.

Planning and designing the identity for the degree show was quite a long and sometimes stressful task. We had the name and concept (showcasing the frameworks of the design process) at the beginning of the year, but visualising it was difficult and we went through a lot of designs as well as coped with a lot of setbacks that were out of our hands. Despite this, we were really happy with the final designs and the number of outcomes we produced; including tote bags, a catalogue, an A1 foldout poster, name and description labels, vinyl signage, a gif for social media, invites, and postcards.

My personal role was to write some copy for the catalogue and to proofread and edit each student’s individual profiles. I also created designs for vinyl stickers and lettering that could were used as the show’s signage, and a poster page for the A1 fold out.

It was really great to see my work up on display, and I think the space looked really exciting because everyone’s work is so varied.

Even though it was difficult at times, I’m glad I volunteered to be part of the degree show team because I’ve gained a lot of experience in different areas of a large-scale design project, as well as enjoyed working as part of a team to deal with tough deadlines and overcome problems.

I’m extremely proud of how the show turned out and the private view was a lovely way to spend my 21st birthday and celebrate 3 years of hard work towards my degree.

The Collective

An exhibition showcasing seventeen graduate photographers collective works from Bath School of Art and Design.

A link to the Kickstarter campaign that I set up for our upcoming London Show at The Hoxton Arches - we are already a quarter of the way there with 21 days to go - heres hoping we make it! Together with Jess and Amee we made up a series of different pledges and options for what the backers get for pledging money to us. It varies from a postcard image from one of our seventeen photographers to A3 signed prints and official sponsorship of the show on our website and our catalogues.

I had my final university hand-in on Friday so figured I should now finally post my finished animation! If you’re in London, you can see it in person either 22nd-27th June at the Camberwell College of Arts Undergraduate Summer Show OR at the Rock, Paper, Scissors. exhibition at the Hoxton Arches 16th - 21st July!

Thanks for everyone following this blog who has been so supportive, it’s really appreciated! I hope you like it.
