how to explain an anime

anonymous asked:

how do u do do u stay so happy like???? is it just me and my mental illness or like r u just Way Too Happy man ily but tell me ur secrets.....

Honestly most of it is because I have depression?? It sounds wild but hear me out

My general mindset is that nothing in life matters in the long run, plus my emotions are really stunted and the future doesn’t exist and time passes funny and I have zero energy to do much, the days all blend together and I don’t really have any ambitions anymore, and on top of all that my empathy machine breaks a lot

So with all that at once, I don’t really have the energy to dwell on being sad or upset?? The best way I can explain it is like in the anime Parasyte, how whenever Shinichi starts to feel panicked or scared or upset Migi would be like “Shinichi control yourself we don’t have time for this” and then he’d IMMEDIATELY be back to normal and devoid of all emotion?? It’s kinda like that

Basically, with all that combined, this meme is my eternal mindset (with this song playing in the background)

So I guess all that manifests itself as the personality you see here! ^^;;; Idk quite how it works either but there it is lol

Fanon Lotor be like

i am not even sorry just take this

Remember that video that I told you all to watch? is on youtube

How do I explain it?

How do I explain to my friend that someone animated my 2 all time favorite figure skaters and made them gay and beautiful and inspiring and their story is trending every time an episode airs?

How can I explain to her how lucky I am to have witnessed this?

I never would have dreamed that such a thing could come to exist and I am so happy!

I have come here to recommend a TV show that recently got me to fall in another fan-base… lmao, I’m so digging this thing that I’m planning to get myself involved in anything they throw at us! So let me introduce you to the thing.

Starting with the bad-ass name, it’s a piece of art… I tell you… battles are amazing, the movements are incredible, maybe the lack of facial emotion is something that bothered me at first, but heck… it became so natural after 2 or 3 episodes… I started to imagine their expressions just by seeing the characters movements and voice acting.

Oh… you might be confused right now if you haven’t seen it yet? Lemme explain why I put it that way.

Just look at the smooth movements, the precision, the timing…

I can’t even begin to explain how exquisite the show is.

It has everything I look in anime…

Just keep reading~ it contains a few spoilers and what not… I’ll try to keep it down so not much is said… but you were warned!

Cool battle moves with good camera angles

Good looking character’s that can kick your ass anytime. The woman here is a Demon that specializes in Necromancy. Plus Sayaka Ohara is the voice actress <3

Well developed Protagonist, with character development well done and fit for the story plot and the historic ambient. Meet Tanhi (My new waifu lol) She ain’t any princess in distress, she can kick yo ass and be gorgeous at it.

Just look at her go, she swings that sword just as perfect as any of the male characters.

The show has lots of ANGST and PLOT TWISTS… it’s just the kind of deal I love in my shows… leaves me uncertain to everything until the very end. It’s the first time I had such a hard time predicting what would happen the next episode.

For being a tv show to attempts to do everything modern action movies and anime do with just puppets it has a lot more action, story development and production effects than any of the modern media.

^^^^^thi is how they handle the puppets^^^^^Pretty cool ain’t it?

Anyways… this show was written by the dude that was behind of the visual novel Saya no Uta and the anime’s Psycho-Pass and Fate/Zero (Gen Urobuchi). Music scores were in charge of Hiroyuki Sawano (Shingeki no Kyojin, Ao no Exorcist, Kill la Kill, Owari no Seraph, Nanatsu no Taizai, etc) OST IS GOLD!!!

It’s a collaboration between Japanese companies Nitroplus and Good Smile Company along with Taiwanese puppet production company Pili International Multimedia.

The show is currently available in 3 languages: Taiwanese, Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.

It’s also being adapted into a manga written by Gen Urobuchi and illustrated by Yui Sakuma.

All main seiyuus are pretty well known:
· Sayaka Ohara (Yuuko Ichihara / Layla Hamilton)
· Kousuke Toriumi (Kiba Inuzuka / Szayel Aporro / Junpei Iori)
· Junichi Suwabe (Fuma Monou / Archer / Grimmjow Jeagerjaques / Undertaker)
· Mai Nakahara (May Wong / Kurenai Maria / Juvia Lockser)

Anyways… if you’d like, please give it a chance! I assure you the time is worth it! Just be sure to give it a shot until the end =) as the story progresses it’s get more interesting and entertaining!

AnY Ch. 135 - Big spoiler!

I still can’t believe Min-Soo is alive… 😱😍 But I’m so happy and relieved that he survived the arrow! If there’s ever going to be a season 2 of the anime, they better explain how he survived there, since he had a lot of arrows punctured through his back. And in the manga it was only one. 😅 But still… Welcome back, Min-Soo! We’ve missed you!

Can someone please explain??

I’ve watched all episodes of Diabolik Lovers and felt completely sick in the pit of my stomach.. What is so romantic about being manipulated & taken advantage of? The whole entire show was about a little girl who was set into a household that she knows nothing of & about, and having no knowledge of who & why strangers (who are frankly vampires) are taken possession of her? And what’s so much more sick is that one of the characters nick named her “Bitch-Chan”??? What? Is that a loving gesture?

How is it that cute?

Then she is forced to do things with no what so ever say about it at all!! She has never given them any kind of consent, she’s scared most of all the episodes. And people in the comments are
“Omg, this is so sexy”
“I love them!! They treat her so well❤ ”

I don’t understand? Is the manga any better? Does the manga show any kind of love and affection or is it all just a group of guys who take advantage of a little girl and each relationship is related as abusive?

Can someone please explain how it is so romantic? I am really confused.

They're just jealous cause animes cooler and more relevant, it's like one of those fucker that only listens to classical music, not because they like it more but because it's more cultured, like I'm sorry Ms. Jones but mediums grow and evolve over time and sometimes Branch out into sections, I know I too was upset when Zayn split from one direction and made a solo album but life goes on

hhahaah i know that you’re pissed about this whole thing, lot of people do according me. but there’s actually a good point why art teachers usually doesn’t want their student to draw anime. about those bullies? well, just go to hell

the common mistake made by those teachers are how they dont explain why it’s not favored. honestly it’s mostly because anime alters human’s proportion so much that makes it a bad choice to start anatomy with

i believe that so myself because i had hard times learning proper anatomy since i used to learn based on anime only. like what the post said also, when your teacher tell u to draw realism then dont anime, but when it’s a free style assignment, proceed

Okay I see your “Yes the original story takes place in Japan so of course the characters are Japanese but we’re moving the story to a mostly white audience so the characters need to be white for them to be relatable.” argument and ask: How do you explain the popularity of things like Toonami and Anime Conventions in the US that center anime….. which stars Japanese characters? Or the fact that Hayao Miyazaki films were largely successful in the US, even though the characters were Japanese?
