how they grow like that

What's your favorite thing about ducky? 😊

They’re super intelligent, my soul mate, but one thing I’m continuously constantly impressed at how they manage to slip under the radar as a nice person. It’s a god damn talent. Idk how they do it. It’s like growing up, there was always that cousin that started THE most shit but you inevitably got blamed for it cause no adult could ever see their menacing behavior? That’s ducky. And I love them for it lmfao 💞💞💞

“Little Stevie’s First Day of School”

Summary: Time has come for little Stevie, 5 years old, to start kindergarten and Bucky’s having a difficult time grasping the concept of his little boy growing up. Steven Anthony Barnes crosses into the scholastic realm. How will Bucky deal with his little man leaving the nest?

Pairings: Bucky x Reader OFC Steven Anthony and Bella Barnes, Ms. Nelson, Kindergarten Teacher

Warning: Separation anxiety and a boatload of happiness

A/N: This fic is part of “The Chronicles of Bucky Barnes-Family Man,” series. From time to time, I’ll post one shots about Bucky, his wife, Bella and little Steven. I wanted to write how he handles his kids growing up. Hope you like it. Feedback is encouraged and thank you for reading!

                                            *******************

You’ve heard of kids crying, latching themselves onto their parent’s leg on the first day of kindergarten. Somber mothers and fathers peeped in the door’s window, searching for one more glance of their “baby.” What they fail to realize is it’s 8:00 a.m. and the school dismisses the kindergarten class at noon.

Do you ever just stop and think about how lucky you were to grow up with Harry Potter? Like I read the first book when I was 8, and the first movie came out that same year. Then the final book came out when I was 14, and the final movie, fittingly 10 years after it all started for me, when I was 18. I am just so thankful. No other generation will get to experience Harry Potter the way we did - eagerly anticipating the next book, rushing out to buy it the day of release, then racing to finish it so you wouldn’t find out spoilers, before theorising about what would happen in the next book. So many of my childhood memories are tied to Harry Potter. Happy 20th anniversary to what is so much more than a book series, it’s a childhood friend and a huge part of the adult I am today. May it continue to inspire children around the world and make their lives that little bit more magic ⚡

I just watched Wynonna Earp ep 203.

Finally an episode this season I thought was half way decent.

Dolls. Yes! Such an interesting set up. Wynonna almost in tears over wanting to help him and get him back, Doc saying he would never be able to come back and then bam there he is in that ending scene with Waverly. Yikes. It seems possessed Waverly is torturing him for some reason. :(

I actually think Nicole is more interesting in scenes with other people. Like she is a decent actress. Why does her personality disappear with Waverly? I do like how she is growing a backbone with Waverly though. And A+ move on the new haircut.

I hate that new villain Tucker. Like in a love to hate him kind of way. You just know his end will be painful and at the hands of a woman (seems like it will be Nicole’s big story this season). His entitled ass and way he regards women and even his appearance reminds me of a combination of many of the Trumpers out there. Even his line to Nicole “you’re a nasty woman.”

Did Mercedes die? I thought she was sticking around. That scene was a little confusing. If she was killed that writing was a bit too heavy handed since Tucker just threatened her and then those demons? appear??

I liked Perry in this ep. Attractive and a good actor. Nice friendship chemistry with Wynonna. This show will cast men of color in several of the guest roles but never do you see women of color featured in any way. At least not so far. Strange. Wait…is Rosita supposed to be a Latina woman?!?

Goodbye and good riddance to the hideous khakis.

So anyway here’s a doodle comic I started but just… can’t… finish…

I probably have like a year before this variation of Pink and White Diamond are shot to bits so lemme have some fun.

it’s so weird to me when people are like “we grew apart and i didn’t notice until it was too late” bc i notice the smallest of changes, i notice everything even if nothing is happening and my fear of abandonment and lack of emotional permanence would Never let me just miss a relationship starting to fade

Keith: *Ties a necktie into a bow and stuffs a dishtowel down his shorts*

Keith:  “I’m a princess now”

The AU this fandom needs but does not deserve in which Keith grows up loved and happy with his big Galra mama.

Bonus:

Headcannon that Dad Kogane buys Keith’s mom sassy clothes with stuff like “I wear the pants” completely unironically.  She doesn’t get it.

I wish someone would’ve just sat me down, five years ago, ten years ago even, and told me how much growing up would feel like digging my soul out of my body by teaspoons and burying it.

Keiynan Lonsdale, who stars in The Flash on The CW, came out as liking girls and guys in a lovely Instagram post a few days ago. He wrote:

I like to change my hair, I like to take risks with how I dress, I like girls, & I like guys (yes), I like growing, I like learning, I like who I am and I really like who I’m becoming. Spent way too many years hating myself, thinking I was less valuable because I was different.. which is just untrue. A couple years ago I was able to accept myself, & it saved my life, but now I’ve gotten to a new road block & I feel kind of lost. I gotta take the next step & actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting. Not faking shit anymore, not apologising for falling in love with people no matter their gender. I’ve become bored of being insecure, ashamed, scared… no one should feel like that about themselves, especially when there is so much good life to live. Ya know more & more I see so many young people being their best / truest selves, it’s fucking inspiring… so what have I been waiting for!? Who knows. Everyone in their own time. I hope we can all learn to embrace who we are & not judge people who aren’t exactly the same as us. The truth is we are all family, we’re all one. Just love. Keiy. ❤

Welcome to the family, Keiy. ❤ (via the Huffington Post)
