how does he go from that to this

what i want to know is why sahuna wants my health records and the story of my childhood 😂 is it a cultural thing? or is it just a sahuna thing lol

Well, here’s what I gather, especially regarding her later emails.

Jaal has told her about you. We know this, she says it right to your face. He probably told her, after your discussion about ‘family’, because he DOES ask you about your family, that you had no parents as they were both dead, and your brother’s in a coma. He told her about you, how amazing you are, and she sees you, this stranger in their galaxy, so dedicated to helping her people, so strong, so goodhearted, and beyond that she sees all of this, and she sees you alone. She sees a child, because to her that’s probably closer to what you are, as Ryder is no older than Jaal at this point, cast out 600 years away from their home with no hope of ever going back, whose parents are dead, whose only living relative is comatose in a hospital.

And whether you like it or not, she’s adopted you. You’re hers now. But she knows nothing about you. The angara know nothing about humans. Sure they know about the INITIATIVE, but not really about HUMANS. They don’t know about their foods, their homes, their hobbies, their sports, the things that make humans HUMAN. She knows you’re not an angara, she knows you are nothing like anything she has ever encountered, and she wants to rectify that. She wants her home to be YOUR home. She wants to be able to cook you food from your home planet and make sure you’re not allergic to any of the angaran food she tries to make for you. She wants to hear about how much you loved the zoo in your childhood and take you out to observe the wildlife on Havarl. She wants to hear about your favorite kinds of movies and, if she can’t procure the actual ones you watched, procure an angaran movie that she thinks is just like it. She wants to make sure she doesn’t accidentally poison you with the food she makes you, and she wants to make sure that her home can ease your homesickness. She knows that Jaal cares for you, she knows that Jaal trusts you, and seeing someone her son thinks so highly of be so seemingly alone in the world in terms of family breaks her heart.

Sure, I think it’s also that Sahuna is forward, she admits she ‘never feels embarrassment’, but I think it’s mainly than Sahuna, like her son, is a very kind hearted person who wants to make you feel at home in this new galaxy. She wants to be the family that you lack, and I think that’s one of the most beautiful dynamics in the game.

“If I ever have a chance to visit Disneyland, I’m definitely going to ask Pocahontas about John Rolfe. I’m curious to see how she would react or what she’d say about him. If he’s her friend, a former boyfriend or someone else… Or does she even know him? I’m also curious what Tinker Bell or other fairies would say about fairies from the old franchise like Prilla and Rani. I really wonder if their face characters even know about their existence.”

Okay but let’s summarize what we learned from having a video version of EB

- Link might stay silent after Rhett says something that exasperates him, but there’s a high chance he’s actually going like this:

Side note: He does it again a few minutes later and it looks exactly the same, which is scary.

- Link uses his hands to talk, even when he’s supposed to be recording audio and I can relate to this.

- There are heart-eyes, even more since they sit opposite each other in this setting, and Rhett is the King of heart-eyes:

And how about this one from Link?

What else did I miss?

What about Yuuri wearing make up tho? Like he definitely wore stage makeup for ice skating, but what about turning his face into more of a masterpiece than it already is, and Viktor #dying because of his beautiful husband?

Yuuri wearing make up, I need this.

I also want that he learned to how to apply perfect eyeliner from Phichit, the absolute queen of applying eyeliner.

But before going out, Yuuri sets aside enough time to put on his make-up and Viktor, already ready, sits besides him, marveling at how Yuuri does it and how beautiful his husband is. Yuuri finds it adorable when Viktor helps choose the day’s color of lipstick and will even apply it for him because he’s been watching Yuuri do it and he’s so good at it now.

Then at the end of it all, Yuuri looks stunning and Viktor always swoons because when is beautiful husband ever not beautiful??

Viktor has pictures of every make-up look that Yuuri has done on his Instagram/phone because of course, he does.

Also, give me Mari teaching Yuuri how wear make-up from a young age because he developed an interest in it. Give me Phichit encouraging Yuuri when he moves to Detroit and the two of them going out to buy products to try.

Obi-wan: Okay, Luke, Your Father, Yoda, Maul and I will be gone for a couple days. Take care, don’t do anything crazy. You are a responsible Jedi master.

Luke: Yes Sir!

(Couple minutes later)

Ezra: *popping up outside the window* are they gone?

Luke: yeah!

Ahsoka: *jumps out from behind the couch* let’s get this party started!

Kanan: *walks in the door* I brought the food!

Sabine: *pops up through floor* I brought the music!

Leia: *walks out of closet* I’ve got brownies!

Everyone: where’s Han?!

Han: *sliding through door, sunglasses on, glow sticks in hands* the fun has arrived!

*Force ghost Obi-wan, Anakin, Yoda and Maul watching from the distance*

Yoda: happens every time, this does.

Obi-wan: I don’t know how he is going to be able to train the new jedi younglings, he is too irresponsible.

Anakin: I can’t believe they’re having a party without me!

Obi-wan: *casts Judging You™ look at Anakin*

Anakin: what!?

Maul: where do they all come from?

Everyone: *looks at him*

Maul: what?! You took all the good questions.

So. Watson gets several invitations to see his bachelor army friend and always refuses unless his Holmes can be with him. And Holmes only goes there after he learned that the Colonel is a bachelor and they can be free there.

What that does to my poor head! I imagine the conversation!

Watson: You are not well. We should go to the country. I know someone from my army days who lives in Reigate and…

Holmes: I need a little comfort! I need kisses and cuddles! How would it help me to be where I can’t have that?

Watson: You can have all the comfort you need. He is a bachelor, too. But if you don’t want to go thrn I’ll go there on my own…

Holmes: And he invited you? You’ll never go there alone! I’ll pack my bag.

So how does Vernon handle his poor catboy when that time rolls around? :o

I think Vernon at first would be like “Jack…what’s going on, my dude?” and Jack is all flustered and breathy and he’s embarrassed when he has to admit, “I’m…I’m in heat.”

and Vernon is like “Oh…oh.” and is like, “What do you need from me?”

Jack whines and buries his face in his hands. He super doesn’t want to admit to Vernon that what he needs is a good hard fucking.

I’d assume that Vernon would do some research and figure it out. He’s all pink faced and embarrassed as he imagines Jack being in the situation that he read about online. He doesn’t want to really address it, but he feels like he should let Jack know that he’s there for him.

It turns into Jack panting shirtless on Vernon’s floor and Vernon trying to make a cup of coffee and idly be like, “If you…um whatever you need, it’s okay? Okay? I can…if you need me, dude. I’m, ah, I’m here for you?”

Jack smiles all shakily, like, “T-Thanks, man.”

And then Vernon thinks it’s settled since nothing happens, but Jack is still clearly in need. Then he wakes up at three am to Jack crawling in his bed and being like “V-Vernon, remember what you said? About helping me if I need it?”

And Vernon feels Jack’s body rutting against him and he’s like “Oh.”

Then the sex happens~

@queen-mabs-revenge Unless it is Snow and Regina singing the song of Killian’s greatest hits:

“Remember when he came back with the bean”
“And that time in New York.”
“And when he went in the portal for you on the time travel adventure.”
“And when he came back FROM THE DEAD”

An Emma agreeing while she swills rum and ruminates on how shitty they’ve treated him. I don’t see this going well.

Either Regina and Snow spend the time bashing him, or Emma does. I can’t see them using a Girl’s Night Out scene for any other purpose. Why have it? Jane is pretty excellent but I dunno if she’s that good.

I imagine it will go a lot like the UW conversation after Liam where they tell her he’s not good enough for her, she says some things I might not forgive her for saying, no one ever talks about it again, and then we watch them reunite and get married with this casting a pall over their relationship forever.

I could be surprised, I keep saying that, it keeps not happening.

This would be a lot easier to swallow if they hadn’t immediately followed up all the completely ignoring his obvious signs of distress with a night designed to take Emma’s mind off her missing True Love just hours after he left.

Like I didn’t think there was anything that could make me dislike Emma Swan but apparently this is it. I’m just not here for her not being 110% in for him like has been for her after all this time. It was fine in S3, marginally better in S4 when no one noticed his heart was missing, understandable in S5 when she ignored his wishes both above and below ground. But having to rely on her super power to trust him instead of what she knows about this man she’s supposed to love more than any other….

Like that’s super crappy and I hate it.

Does Levi have any scars on his body and if he does how did he get them?

DISCLAIMER: This is my personal opinion. In no way am I stating what I say here is entirely canon or completely accurate. if you disagree with my opinion, that’s perfectly fine! Everyone has a different point of view, but if you are going to send me messages trying to argue point of views with me, tell me I’m wrong, or send me hate messages; do us both a favor and please just don’t even bother.

Oh I’m positive he does, but as far as how he got them; I have no idea. Most likely from fights in his youth and a few mishaps beyond the wall in the SC.

So which parent taught the kiddies how to swim? Or did they learn from their "auntie" Asahina?

So in my Naegiri Family Vacation fic, there’s a scene where Owari suggests Nidai teach Kazuki. Naegi tries to reject it saying that Asahina was going to teach him, but little Kazuki really wanted to learn how to swim…It didn’t go well.

Despite having flotation devices to keep him from submerging, Kazuki clung onto Makoto’s arm for dear life. He never experienced not being able to touch the bottom of the pool before, and it scared him. The thought of swimming excited Kazuki at first, but once Makoto gently dipped him into the water, and he couldn’t feel anything under his feet, he panicked.

So in the end, he does get taught by Asahina, and so does Hikari. I think Asahina would make a great swimming teacher.

what the FUCK Adrien?

ok so let’s start here with this gif. We all like to laugh about this, right? How Adrien climbs his fucking rock wall to tackle Plagg out of the air? Shout out the small badass Adrien moment since he does this hard part of the wall like a goddamn spider monkey w/o any harnesses and shit?

External image

well I was looking at a photo of Adrien’s room for reference and I noticed…something.

See how he’s climbing up? Directly up? Look at the angle of his body, he’s going directly up. But look at this from a different angle. See what’s directly below him?

what the fuck Adrien????

oh but wait. there’s more.

The purple arrow points to where he disappeared at. The green arrow is Plagg’s line of sight. Adrien somehow turned around up there (and the wall seems to be pretty flat against the wall) and fucking POUNCED on Plagg.

what the fuck, Adrien? You cat.

After pouncing on Plagg like a goddamn lion or some shit….he landed on the couch.

And casually as you fucking please. No bounce, no roll, no pain. Just plop.

in conclusion:

Why Yuri on Ice is so fucking important

I mean the obvious reason is canon queer couple who are supportive and deeply in love:

But there is a lot more as to why their relationship is so important.

Yuri struggles badly with anxiety, self esteem issues and I would argue depressive tendencies.

A lot of his coping techniques we see are similar to ones I employ or have employed

He cries alone, not wanting other people…not even his mom to know how much pain he’s in

He engages in physical activity when anxious probably because he can’t sit still (know the feeling which is made worse by not actually able to be active in my case)

He clearly has panic attacks

Later when Victor accidentally triggers Yuri’s feelings of worthlessness and inadequacy he shuts down completely which is a defensive strategy I am all too familiar with. It’s an attempt to keep from breaking down completely by going numb and withdrawing from the world around you even though it fucks things up even more.

but Victor in this case does the right thing and pushes Yuri just enough. He opens up and give Yuri space to come to him on his terms.  When Yuri does talk it out with Victor he reveals his fear of appearing weak.

I used to be obsessed with this.  I’m less so now and other negative thoughts have become stronger but for a long time I hated opening up about my thoughts or feelings and really hated anyone’s attempts to draw me out. My husband was the first one who could see past my attempts at pretending to be fine or to shut him out and instead managed to draw me out.  He did it a similar way to Victor by just being there going “I know you’re not okay but I’m not going anywhere…talk to me about it please.” and that felt not like an intrusion or him feeling I was weak (and he told me he didn’t see me that way in the same way Victor does here) instead he was, like Victor here, a wall I could lean against.

Which leads me to Episode 7.

Here we have Victor fucking up big time. He thinks tough love might motivate Yuri and here’s the thing.  That would have broken episode 4 Yuri but episode 7 Yuri knows Victor is lying and is pissed and hurt…but he says that.  He feels strong enough to confront his lover (and they are lovers already by this point because come on!) and say clearly “You fucked up!”

This is so important because he calls Victor out on his fuck up and reveals his fears but at the same time is able to recognise it’s an irrational fear and that he does trust Victor’s feelings.

He is able to clearly talk back to his lover, declare his needs and Victor fucking listened which is also really important.  He could have kept it going after all, he was looking to shatter Yuri’s heart as a motivational thing but as soon as it actually happened he backed down with a “I made a huge mistake!” reaction which is great and why I kind of love “I don’t understand humans” Victor.

But then we have Yuri’s thoughts during the program:

he’s not upset that Victor saw him cry or wondering what Victor thought of him because he’s okay with crying in front of Victor.  He’s just glad he got the tension out of him. That’s a big deal and shows how much faith he has in Victor as a partner

In fact he even thinks Victor’s panic was a little funny which is huge growth.

Which is why we get the next bit:

He’s not blaming himself for their fight like I think he would have done in the past. He knows Victor fucked up and is able to see that.  That’s a huge leap forward.

The tone he uses here is interesting because he’s acknowledging his issues without rancour or self hatred.  Just a statement of fact that he has issues and it’s not news and he thinks Victor should be ready to handle it and is willing to see it’s not just his problem but Victor’s as well.

Yuri doesn’t skate perfectly here but he skates well and better then he expected because he got out what he needed to during the fight and now feels emotionally lighter for it. He’s still a little annoyed with Victor but he’s not angry, not really. He knows Victor is remorseful and doesn’t want to leave him so instead he thinks about getting his revenge by surprising Victor with the quad flip. He’s again thinking more about Victor and their relationship so that he manages to better in his routine then usual.

That’s a huge sign of both Yuri’s growth as an individual he’s able to recognise his anxiety and confidence problems and also recognise when his fears are irrational and still have faith that his boyfriend/coach will be there for him.  He’s surprised by the kiss at the end I think because of the venue but that look at the end when they are so in love gets me every time.

I love that we have such a healthy dynamic between these two that even when one of them fucks up they fix it by communicating and are stronger for it.

That’s why it’s so important.  Yuri’s growth as a person dealing with chronic anxiety and poor self esteem and the like is very very real and Victor is so good for him but he’s good for “I don’t know how to human” Victor who from what we’ve heard from other’s is not known for caring about other people. Christophe says it and Yakov says it.  That he’s selfish…but that’s not what we see with Yuri.  We see a Victor who is trying so hard but fucking up and then trying harder because he loves him so much.

God they are the best couple on tv ever

Why does Yurio want to win so badly?

Yurio has spent much of the series saying how he wants to win and how he’s going to become the best in the world. Most people have attributed this desire solely to Yurio’s personality and just the way he is.

However, that’s not correct. Yurio wants to win… because he needs money. Now before you keep scrolling because you think that’s ridiculous, hear me out and keep reading.

If you guys haven’t scrolled through the Yuri!!! on Ice official website, you should do that sometime.

Wait… let’s take a close look…

Not since he’s junior days… since his rookie days… since the beginning. Yurio’s whole skating career has been so that he can provide for his family. The earliest we see Yurio skating competitively was age 12. A twelve year old, and maybe even younger, was the primary source of income for his family. Can you imagine the pressure on Yurio as he competes? No wonder he said he would throw everything away to skate when Lilia told him to. No wonder he put six jumps, a “death wish”,  in the second half of his free skate. Yurio is desparate. He want’s to win so he can provide a better life for his family.

Can we talk about how far Viktor has come as a coach?

We go from this in Episode 7

To this in Episode 10

Two similar scenarios with totally different results. This time around when Viktor senses Yuri’s nerves he doesn’t flounder with how to handle it, he does exactly what Yuri asked him to do. He stands by him, trusts that Yuri will figure it out, and provides his support by just being there.

He’s still not perfect, but instead of it being a negative thing, and it being a sign of how much Viktor has to learn about being a coach as Yakov suggests Yuri relies on it. Yuri knows his faults as a coach and embraces them.

Instead of bottling it all up inside until it boils over like he has in the past (last year’s GPF, episode 7′s carpark scene), after sitting alone in his room thinking about what he has to overcome to win, and the challengers he’s about to face, his first instinct is to call out to Viktor for help (at least in his head) for help.

And later that day basically tells Viktor to distract him from the upcoming competition.

Yuri is the one directing Viktor in how to handle his nerves, he’s the one who figures out what he needs and drags Viktor along. He’s the one gets the idea to buy Viktor a “good luck” ring so that he can do his best in the finals.

(Even though this is his face when he spots the jewelry store.)

He’s the one who prompts Viktor for some words of encouragement

And Viktor keeps it in mind that Yuri flubs his jumps when he overthinks things

Instead of saying something that would cause Yuri to lose focus, or worry too hard about medaling, or nailing his jumps, he tells him to skate the way he likes the best. What he knows Yuri needs to hear.

Viktor isn’t a perfect coach, but he’s come such a long way thanks to Yuri. And yeah, he still has a long way to go. But he’s doing exactly what Yuri needs from him.

Since we’re all on the topic of mutual caring Ladynoir and Ladybug treating Chat Noir as her friend, let’s all appreciate the fact that every single time Chat Noir falls under an Akuma’s spell, Ladybug is always reluctant to fight him and only does so when it’s clear that he isn’t going to break away from the influence.

In spite of the fact that it happened before and how unlikely it’ll be for him to snap out of it, she still stops and tries to appeal to his better side.

Just in general, even though she knows she has to fight/hurt him, she clearly does not like it.

And she never blames him for it, never looked at it as something that discredited his competency as a hero, or mentions any of it afterwards (she told him at the end of Puppeteer, but only because Chat asked her).

And before anyone gets up in arms about her little rib there because I KNOW someone will, let me remind you that this was the same episode where Chat implied that Ladybug was ugly.

(look at that smug grin, he knows what he’s doing XD)

But we all know that he doesn’t actually mean that and that this and what Ladybug says to him above are all good-natured teasing two people who are friends do, and neither take the comments to heart.

So of course he smiles comforted that his Lady had everything under control and then quickly turns this into an opportunity to flirt with her.

And just. look at how he makes her laugh so happily!!

Chat Noir may exasperate her a lot when he doesn’t take the situations seriously enough, and there may have been times where Ladybug was too curt with him, but she always apologizes to him for those moments and praises his feats.

Regardless of whether or not she reciprocates his romantic feelings for her she deeply trusts him and cares for him as a person and her partner, and that is very evident throughout the show!!

Watch how fast they ignore the antisemitic hate crimes committed by literal white supremacist groups.

Goyim parroted “never again” to me months ago as their reason for comparing Trump to Hitler and, from where I stand, they seem pretty insistent on making sure it DOES happen again. People from all political sides always want to throw us under the bus as quickly as possible.

Goyim don’t care about Jews and this election proves it.

Day Eighty-Three

-An elderly man clutched my arm as I walked by. “Do you have hair dryers?” he asked, his eyes filled with desperation. For his sake, I hope he does not go through with this purchase. I do not know if the last of his hair can withstand it.

-The voice of a child floated over from the DVD section, complaining, “This is not educational!” It is nice to see a child with their priorities in order who has no time for trivial things like entertainment.

-A woman walked through the store on her phone, bragging of how she had talked her child out of calling social services on her. Each day this job shows me people I never could have dreamt existed. This time, it was a guest borne from nightmares.

-I have discovered the active wear section to be prime dumping ground for unwanted merchandise. This strategy is sure to leave discarded items hidden indefinitely as no sane person would dare enter this area.

-A tampon applicator was found near an empty underwear package. Something has gone horribly awry.

-I walked by a young couple seated in display chairs they had placed in the center of the aisle, sharing a drink on an admirable and inspiring date.

-The unmistakable delicately-brash tones of a harmonica sounded out from an unidentifiable source for several seconds, only to cease at the start of a crescendo and be swiftly forgotten by all onlisteners but myself.

But Percy singing ’How Far I’ll Go’ from Moana.
