how come every character in this game is amazing

[edit] I also realize that this isn’t actually gw2 related but I don’t know where else to post this for the team to see, just wanted to let them know how I felt ^^

Finished! This is a piece I now do every year as sort of a challenge to myself to see how far I’ve come art wise. These characters are based off of some Guild Wars 1 characters I had years ago. I loved the game and characters so much that they’ve stuck with me all these years later and I definitely want to thank the amazing team at ArenaNet for this awesome series, it was a huge part of my childhood and early teen years and it’s one of the things that inspired me to become an artist. So I just want to offer my sincere thanks to everyone, I love you all and thank you for indirectly being a huge factor in my life and will continue to be <3

Actual characters these were based on

First drawing I ever did of them

Why Ramsay Bolton is my favourite GoT character:

- he truly enjoys life to the fullest, he takes pleasure in everything he does and never takes life too seriously.

- you see him smiling constantly, contrary to Jon Snow who’s always grumpy.

- he doesn’t hide behind his mother’s skirts like Joffrey did, he does his own dirty work and loves it.

- we know every other character’s motivation, to sit on the Iron Throne, to rule Westeros, to kill white walkers - however, Ramsay is an interesting wild card who doesn’t desire any of those things.

- his introduction on Game of Thrones was awesome, once he led Theon back to that X-shaped crucifix, we knew what he was.

- he’s like Jon Snow’s evil doppleganger, they’re both dedicated to a cause that requires sacrifice, (“what I want is no longer the primary consideration”, he tells Myranda), they’re both born a Snow and they both love the color black. But when Jon is noble and annoying to the point where you start to sympathize with Alliser Thorne, Ramsay just doesn’t take life too seriously nor give a sh*t about nobility.

- all he really wants is his father’s recognition and acceptance. When he realizes that he will never have that, he takes things into his own hands, kills his father and literally feeds his stepmother and baby brother to his dogs. That is just so sick and twisted that it’s awesome.

- Ramsay has incredible strategic skills, both when it comes to battles and playing with people’s minds, he always gets what he wants. Think about how he sabotaged Stannis’ army with only 20 men, how he took Winterfell and Moat Cailin from the Ironborn and how he lured Jon Snow in to every single one of his traps at the Battle of the Bastards.

- Ramsay is genuinely funny, no violation is ever so horrible that he can’t find the humor in it.

- he happens to be portrayed by the incredible actor Iwan Rheon who’s insanely attractive btw and just amazing in every way.

Enjolras loses four years worth of memories after a nasty car accident. Though he still remembers who Combeferre and Courfeyrac are, he also finds himself with a herd of friends he doesn’t remember meeting. Friends who are exactly what his blank mind needs to recollect his missing memories.

or : the amnesia fic no one asked for.

There’s a sort of screaming sound my heart makes whenever I think about this fic because it makes me emotional like nothing else. The plot, to start with, is incredible and so well-ordered that I occasionally forget it’s a fanfic and not an actual published novel.

My admiration for authors who can write all of the amis into one storyline and still capture their characters in an individual sense will never end, and Forget Me Not is a perfect example of that. The group dynamic between all the amis may just be one of my favourite things ever tbh. I love how well they work and how real they come across- everyone helping out at Musichetta’s allotment (which is another thing I scream about, I love it) and the video game nights and I just. Have so much love for every single one.

So many amazing moments stand out for me about this fic it’s really hard to choose a favourite (Grantaire re-enacting Rome and Juliet with Marius and Cosette is definitely up there though.) I love the slow-burn aspects of this fic (so !!! much !!!! tension !!!!) and I live for pining!jolras so this will always be at the top of my reading lists.

The mystery element, too, really gets me. I love that we learn things along with Enjolras, it’s really easy to empathise with the frustration he feels and makes the pace all the more thrilling when tidbits are revealed to us. Overall, Forget Me Not is an outstanding work and one the les mis fandom is lucky to have.

(Also the background Jehanparnasse and Courferre are A++++)

Our 1st Undertale Anniversary.

I can’t stress out enough how strong and creative this fandom gets everytime. It’s like that hype that always manages to come back up cause that’s just how amazing the game is; bold, funny, brings us to tears, and just wonderful in every way. It’s one of those things that will never be forgotten.

What touches my soul when it comes to storytelling, that it reaches to people who are battling with themselves and their lives; the fact that you can make someone’s day through your characters and stories is truly a great gift and purpose to hold onto for the rest of your life.

And boy, don’t get me started on the countless AUs! There’s always a new joke to share, a new bond to enjoy, new stories to tell…even though heh..they bring too many feels ; w ;

The people here are just extraordinary, and beautiful. I’m extremely proud to be a part of it. But we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the great creator.

Toby Fox. Again, thank you so much for working hard on this game.
We love you!!

Wonder Red

With recent doubt of how unique Wonder Red could be, I have come up with a moveset that really gives him a unique flavor from other characters. Before I begin, on a side note, people who have yet to pick up the Wonderful 101 really should. It’s such an AMAZING game with an awesome story and great characters! If you want to know more about the game, read this moveset to find out.
