NOT TAKING ANYMORE REQUESTS!
You could feel the panic rising in your throat as the cart you were in continued down its path. After Jorah had been banished by Daenerys, you had decided to stay with him. The two of you travelled to Volantis, trying to stay out of trouble.
Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the two of you had gotten kidnapped.
It had happened so fast. Someone had pulled you away from Jorah and put a bag over your head, and you could hear Jorah fighting before the two of you were bound together and thrown into a cart. You had managed to wriggle the bag off your head to see you were in some horse cart.
Jorah frowned as you tried to wriggle out of the ropes, “Would you quit moving around?”
“It’s not my fault we’re tied up together!” you fired back, and Jorah sighed.
“We’ll be alright, y/n.” Jorah tried to say, but you didn’t listen. “y/n, calm down. Take deep breaths-”
“Don’t tell me how to calm down, you calm down!” you exclaimed, and Jorah used every nerve in his body to try and not get annoyed at you. Instead of replying, he simply wriggled around and produced a knife out of his pocket. He cut himself free first, before turning around to cut you free. Rolling your eyes, you asked, “Why didn’t you do that earlier?”
Jorah moved to the back of the cart and pulled the curtain back slightly, and you peeked over his shoulder to look outside. It looked like you were in a busy marketplace, but you weren’t exactly sure. Who knew where your kidnappers were going to take you?
“Here, take my hand. Everything is fine, just hold onto me and keep moving.” Jorah suddenly held his hand out, and you quickly held onto it as Jorah jumped from the cart, pulling you with him. The two of you fell onto each other, but Jorah quickly pulled you up and into the crowd as you heard the cart stop. You turned around to look, but Jorah tugged at your hand. “Don’t turn around.”
Out of the corner of your eye, you could see one of the men peek into the cart, before furiously turning around upon realising you had escaped. Jorah grabbed two robes from a nearby stall and put one on you, before pulling you closer to him. You grabbed a random basket from the floor and pretended to be one of the shoppers as you inspected some fruit.
“You’re a natural at this.” Jorah smiled slightly, and you turned to grin at him.
“Don’t celebrate just yet,” you shrugged. “We’re still not safe here. Let’s keep moving.”
