Macbriare Samuel Lanyon Demarco aka Mac Demarco played House of Vans for us on Thursday night and we had to catch him after his soundcheck for a quick Q&A… So what do his 5 favorite spots in NYC have in common? They’re all pinball spots. He also picked lasagna on the basis that there are a lot of varieties, and although he’s been wearing red Vans for three years he gets a new pair every few months.

We loved welcoming Charlavail and her Happiest Camper tour to the House of Vans Brooklyn yesterday. She is on a tour currently meeting up with creative babes, making crafts, and doing some good for local charities. Find out more about her project on her blog, and stay tuned for more photos from the event here!

House of Vans at SXSW: Title Fight

Fans of punk band Title Fight packed the room for their main stage performance at SXSW and it got pretty crazy (in the best kind of way). While the band is known for their hardcore past, their new album Hyperview takes a new turn. It was pretty cool to see old fans as well as new ones rocking out to their set in Austin.

Charlavail’s Happiest Camper tour swung by House of Vans in Brooklyn, NY for a stop Wednesday. Girls came from all over the city to hang out, craft, eat, pizza, and listen to tunes. Attendees also brought school supplies to stuff backpacks that Charlavail will be donating to a local Brooklyn organization to give to foster children returning to school this month. Positive vibes and positive attitudes, we’re definitely backing that.

Foo Fighters play House of Vans London

Just months after its first opening, the legendary Foo Fighters disguised themselves as “The Holy Shits” and graced the new House of Vans London venue with a earth-shattering performance last night. It was no surprise that the place was absolutely packed and everyone cheered for more.
