Never-fail hot raspberry souffle, Airfryer instructions. Cook at 200 degrees in preheated airfryer for 8 minutes. I have used a good raspberry jam for a quick version and it works well. A really no fail souffle in a hurry!

“Hot Glue Gun Stencils”

Once again I found myself playing with a hot glue gun the other night.  This time I was making stencils.  I’ve tried my hand at making some before but have misplaced them along the way.  Knowing that I enjoy using stencils on the Gelli plate, I wanted to make some new ones.

Since I was out of glue sticks for my own hot glue gun, I had to borrow one from my mom.  This one is old and has crusts of glue permanently stuck to it in some places.  The trigger is tough and I found my hand cramping every time I used it.  But at least it had its own stand.

The trick to making hot glue gun stencils is to trace them out onto a sheet of glass or a heat-resistant craft mat.  I had a piece of thick glass, which proved to be kind of difficult.  It took a lot of gentle prying to remove the stencils from the surface.  I ended up making four, though it would’ve been five if the last one hadn’t become so stuck to it.  I tried to use a box cutter to remove it but it was too dangerous, especially when a large section broke off underneath the stencil.  Yikes.  So until I figure out how to remove those globs of glue, making more stencils will have to wait.  Until then I have these four to use in my artwork.
