I looked down at my dish and realized it needed a little more color, so I decide to make a quick purée out of lima beans and hot raspberry sauce, then brûlée the top with a blowtorch and add a few mint leaves to really give it some texture.
Too hot for hot chocolate, made a milkshake instead.
5tsp cocoa powder
1tsp peppermint extract
Half a cup ice
Blend it all together until smooth
Verdict - ahh I needed that. The mint makes it very refreshing. It could have been more chocolatey and cooking the cocoa powder and milk together does bring out the flavour more but I just wanted it done quickly so didn’t bother. It was still pretty yummy.
not nearly done with studying but I stopped here to go running (except I mostly jogged)
total of 23 miles covered this weekend! 16 miles yesterday, mostly at a decent run pace until i died on the last two miles and rigor mortis set in because wow everything went stiff, and then a recovery 7 mile jog today
i had two mugs of hot raspberry tea and a bottle of iced green tea today
