Overwatch Solo QP Gothic
You just lost the point. Reinhardt yells “group up with me!” while charging away from you, into the enemy team. He dies. You die. It occurs to you: We all have to die sooner or later.
You’re the healer. You’re on the point, hoping for your team to join you. All around you, it comes from inside the walls: “I need healing!” You don’t know where the disembodied voices come from. You only see vague shapes, too quick to follow. You abandon the point to run after one of them. You find Junkrat deep inside the maze of the building. “I need healing!”, he says, and steps on a health pack.
You wait in front of the spawn and yell “group up with me!”. McCree runs past you, followed by Ana. McCree dies. Ana dies. You wanna die.
The yellow bar says “no healers”. PowRGamR333 picks Widowmaker. OnlyHanzoQ picks Hanzo. “Too many snipers”. There are always too many snipers. Everyone around you is a sniper.
You’re alone on the point. You ask yourself: Where is my team? Did you ever have a team? Was it all just a figment of your imagination? You’re alone. It’s cold. There are footsteps everywhere. The enemy soldier ults again.
Overtime. You’re racing towards the point, hands sweaty and heart pounding while the overtime bar is quickly depleting. In the distance, you see an allied Widowmaker right in front of the point. If only she took one step forward and inside the blue circle. If only… if only… “Defeat”, says the computer voice.
“Enemy turret sighte- AAHHH” Your allied Soldier dies. “Turret ahea- URGH” Your allied Orisa dies. “Turret detecte- AAAHHH” Your allied Pharah dies. “Enemy turret destroyed.” Says your allied D.Va. “Enemy turret ahea-AAAAH” Your allied D.Va dies. Hopes are crushed so quickly.
The overtime lasted ten minutes. You lose. “ez”, writes the enemy Genji. Your hands move as if to wring the air in front of you.
