“Sesh Pose” ~ Kemetic Yoga

Image taken of Kemetic Yoga Instructor, Latoya Thomas Bridgewater, teaching the “Sesh Pose” during the ‘SOUL YOGA FEST’ held at the Hope Botanical Gardens in Kingston, Jamaica by Master Kemetic Yoga Teacher, Yirser Ra Hotep.

“This posture stimulates the reflexology points at the bottom of the feet that correspond to the frontal lobe, pineal glad, eyes, ears, sinuses and pituitary gland. Sesh means scribe. The ancient priests who wrote using the writing method commonly called hieroglyphs, properly called MDW NTR, sat in this position for many hours each day.” ~ Yirser Ra Hotep. ♥

~The Lunge Pose~

“The Lunge Pose is a core aspect of the Sun Salutation in the YogaSkills Method (YSM). This posture opens the hips, lengthens the quadriceps muscles, opens the lungs and even stimulates the thyroid gland in the throat.” ~ Yirser Ra Hotep
