munozisabela  asked:

Do u know any fun bughead or just any spoilers for upcoming episodes after episode 8 comes on???

i don’t know if i have any fun spoilers, but i’ll tell you what i know–

episode 9:

  • archie reluctantly agrees to escort cheryl to her family’s official start of maple syrup tapping because he gets an offer that could help his future. he starts to become skeptical of the real reason the blossoms are so eager to help him; however he gets some helpful information for betty about her sister
  • veronica is trying to be nice, and unbeknownst to her, befriends a classmate that her father’s illegal doings has hurt
  • hermione is conflicted about telling fred the truth (i’m guessing about hiram and the drive-in)
  • alice is ready to get revenge on the blossoms once and for all with the help of her two daughters
  • we uncover more secrets about the long-standing family feud between the blossoms and the coopers
  • betty’s relationship with polly faces additional challenges

episode 10:

  • archie is going to throw jughead a birthday party, which is going to feature a hamburger cake
  • somebody (a male) is going to storm out of the birthday party
  • archie’s mom makes her return in this episode to help her family in their time of need, or something, and is reunited with alice and hermione (her friends in high school)
  • we see more of dark betty/betty’s mental health issues
  • jughead takes his hat off in a vulnerable moment with betty
  • we explore jughead’s relationship with the coopers in this episode

episode 11:

  • archie’s mom is still around
  • it LOOKS like homecoming is in this episode (if not, then it’s in 12)
  • it looks like betty and jughead are each other’s dates to homecoming
  • archie and veronica might also be each other’s dates, but i’m not sure about that one since i don’t know if archie and val are still together at this point. they just kind of look like they match in the candids from homecoming, which is why i think they might have gone together
  • jughead is going to run out of the dance with betty, archie, and veronica on his heels. he likely stops and says something to them before taking off and leaving them looking upset on the school steps (x
  • jug heads to the riverdale bus station, where he’s talking to somebody on a payphone. i’m guessing this is after he leaves homecoming since he looks less put together (x
  • jughead is going to have a scene with betty and veronica in his homecoming suit while they’re in regular clothes. leading me to believe that he goes and finds betty after deciding not to leave town (if that’s what the bus station scene is about)
  • cole was playing with a sheriff’s hat while in his suit with the girls in their regular clothes, which makes me think MAYBE they go to the police station
  • in either this episode or episode 10, there’s going to be an outdoor group scene with betty, jughead, kevin, archie, veronica, and cheryl
  • then in either this episode or episode 12, jughead, betty, alice, and maybe kevin have a scene together. (x) ~casey isn’t in that picture but there is a video of him, cole, and lili goofing around and lili and cole are wearing the same outfits

episode 12:

  • jughead takes his hat off again
  • we find out who killed jason
  • that’s basically all we know about 12

episode 13 (the finale):

  • jughead takes his hat off again
  • the 75th riverdale jubilee is in the episode
  • more characters were likely there, but i know for sure jughead, betty, archie, veronica, valarie, joise, mel, alice, hal, polly, and fred are at the jubilee
  • sometime during the event, jughead and betty are walking arm and arm through the snow when alice stops them and they chat with the rest of the cooper clan
  • archie is going to end the episode in a relationship with, according to kj, who he is definitely supposed to be with
  • there’s a scene with archie, betty, veronica, and jughead where kj did some sort of stunt and actually broke his arm
  • they seemed to film quite a bit outside. i don’t know what they were filming, but i’ll link the pictures (x, x, x)
  • kj said on the last day of filming they changed the episode’s cliffhanger, so what they had filmed was scrapped and they filmed a new ending. i’m guessing to ensure no spoilers were leaked. a lot of shows film different endings to throw people off
  • this one might be a little confusing to explain how i know, but i’ll do my best– there’s a scene with the core four at pop’s with betty and jughead on one side and veronica and archie on the other. we can tell by putting various videos they posted together. camila and lili posted videos of each other lying on their seats (in their jubilee outfits), they’re opposite of each other, so we know betty is on one side of the booth and veronica is on the other. and then cole and lili posted videos of kj making funny faces, so now we know jughead and archie are there and they’re (cole and lili) both across the table from kj. from their different camera angles, we can tell betty is across from archie and jughead is across from veronica. so basically, betty and jughead are next to each other with jughead closest to the window and veronica and archie are sat together with veronica closest to the window

i think that’s everything, but feel free to add on if i missed anything

I’m just imagining 10th grade Connor being, as most 10th grade boys are, the worst little shit imaginable. Like this insufferable little 10th grade twerp with shaggy hair, an oversized hoodie, and a bad attitude. And I hate this kid.
But when I start to think of him more complexly.
Because his mom makes such a big deal about his “first day of senior year”, and assuming he hadn’t previously been held back, we can assume that Connor is at least smart enough to pass his courses and be on the track to graduation.
And yes, one could argue that maybe Connor is just naturally very smart. But I’d like to propose a Connor who actually cared about school, despite what people around him and his concerning attendance record said. A Connor who was struggling with both his mental illness(es?) and school work, but held out a bit of hope for what graduation might bring. So he works with what he can and gets decent grades.
10th grade Connor with his undiagnosed mental illness(es?), actually doing homework in detention he got from skipping class because of his mental illness(es).
Also, 10th grade Connor scaring away certain boys in his grade from talking to his sister because he knows them, but 9th grade Zoe is pissed bc all she sees is her brother just ruining her chances of getting a date to homecoming.
Feel free to add to this

Change Of Heart - Reggie Mantle

Can you make a story wherein Jughead and Reggie is fighting over the reader which is a new girl in Riverdale High. You decide who she ends up with.

I write Jughead allllll the time, so I thought I might change it up a little by writing this with Reggie in mind. Sorry if it’s not the way you wanted it, it’s just what came into my mind.

You had heard about the activity in small towns; while they were quiet from the outside, gossip spread like wild-fire from within. Your family’s arrival to the tiny town of Riverdale sparked the same reaction. On your first day of school, you received the undivided attention of a cheery blonde named Betty Cooper. From there, you merged into her friend circle and found that there was hope for a happy life in the rinky-dink town. You grew close with Veronica, Archie, and Kevin, all thanks to Betty. It was when you were introduced to Jughead Jones, when things started to take a turn. The situation became very apparent to after lunch period, only a month after you started attending Riverdale High School.

“Alright, ready for this English quiz, Jug?” You teased him and a soft smile grew on his features. After hanging around Betty, you found that you and Jughead shared a nearly identical schedule; and a shared passion for sarcasm.

“Yeah, gonna ace it,” he answered dryly. You let out a laugh at his answer. You fell back in step beside your new friends, quietly joking about the quiz.

“Hey! Jones!” Jughead stopped in his tracks. You keep walking until you realized he was no longer beside you. You turned around and saw him, face to face with a towering boy. His broad chest and shoulders lead to a smooth face. Dark hair was pushed back slightly, out of the way of his deep brown eyes. You locked eyes with him from over Jughead’s shoulder and his jaw went slack. His gaze traveled down your face, as if he was seeing you for the first time; which indeed it was. You had never ran into the boy before you, if you had you would’ve remembered.

“What do you want Reggie?” Your thoughts derailed when you heard the tone of hostility in Jughead’s voice. The boy, Reggie, moved his eyes from you back to Jughead.

“I-I,” Reggie glanced back at you, “nothing. See ya around.” With that, Reggie turned his back to the two of you and sauntered off. You watched as he walked away, but after he left your line of sight, you looked back at Jughead.

“Who was that,” you asked. Jughead rolled his eyes and turned around to walk to class. You followed close behind him, still wanting an answer.

“That’s Reggie Mantle,” he said angrily, “he’s nothing but trouble Y/N. Do yourself a favor and stay away from him.” You bit your lip at Jughead’s harsh words. Your mind still working over Reggie’s appearance, you turned you head to look back in the direction he walked off in; as if he were still there. You smiled unexpectedly when you saw him leaning against the corner of the wall, watching you walk away.

After your encounter with Reggie, Jughead started to act differently around you. Whenever one of the jocks, especially Reggie, walked by, Jughead would touch you in someway. At first it started with the brushing of hands, but now he went as far to have an arm around your shoulders. Jughead also made it a point to tell you every horrible thing Reggie had done to him in past years. Reggie was foil to Jughead’s character; the antagonist of Mr. Jones personal memoir. It didn’t take you long to understand that Jughead wanted you to have nothing to do with the rude jock.

His stories, no matter how mean, didn’t deter you from thinking about Reggie. You saw him in the hallways and sometimes you’d even catch his eye; however, a mere word was yet to be spoken to him. But Jughead didn’t want that to happen.

“So who’s going to the homecoming dance?” Veronica beamed as she asked. Betty smiled and asked Kevin if he was going with Joaquin. He nodded of course, a pink blush on his cheeks. Archie shrugged at Veronica’s question and Betty rolled her eyes.

“You wanna go as friends, Ronnie?” Archie asked nonchalantly, but his voice pitched a little higher. Veronica’s eyes widened but she nodded.

“Sure, why not?” You saw Betty stiffen from the corner of your eye. Her blue eyes were sad suddenly, and you remembered the drama that ensued when you first met the group.

“Hey Jughead,” you said, getting the boys attention. His eyes met yours for a moment before looking away nervously. “You and Betty should go together,” Betty turned to look at you.

“Huh?” You slapped Jughead’s shoulder at his dumb response. “Yeah, okay. Are you down, Betts?” You mentally slapped yourself at your friend’s naivety. The blonde nodded slowly before answering.

“That sounds cool, but what about you, Y/N?” You shrugged simply and Jughead shook his head. You raised an eyebrow at your friend’s movement.

“You should go with someone,” he said, “maybe Betty and I could-”

“Hey, Y/N?” You turned your head around, your gaze resting on Reggie Mantle. His dark brown eyes skirted nervously around your table of friends.

“Hi, Reggie, what’s up?” You offered him a small, slightly awkward, smile. You had never spoken to each other before, but the you both knew the other’s name.

“Can I talk to you for a sec?” You nodded and stood up from the lunch table. Before you turned to walk off with Reggie, Jughead shot you a worried look. As did Archie, who had also shared his less than favorable encounters with Reggie, with you. But you ignored their looks, giving Reggie a chance to prove himself otherwise. You walked a few paces away from your table and you almost started to giggle. Reggie’s imposing frame seem crunched together, curled up with nerves. Maybe you would have a date to homecoming after all.

“I know we don’t really know each other, but I would really like to get to know you, Y/N.” You smiled at him, meeting his gaze once more. “You seem really cool,” he added, making you laugh lightly.

“You seem pretty cool too, Reggie,” he smiled at your words and you felt a tickle in your stomach. “Do you maybe want to go to homecoming with-”

“Yes,” he answered quickly, causing both of your to chuckle. The two of you exchanged numbers and made plans for homecoming. You and Reggie would meet up at the school and after the dance, you’d go out to eat. Your heart started to beat wildly at the idea of dancing with him.

“I’ll see you then,” he said, smiling brightly. He turned around and started to walk off. You stood there for a moment longer, still buzzing from the conversation. When your legs were steady enough to move, you headed back to the table. Everyone was silent as you sat down, except Kevin.

“What did he want? Did he ask you to the dance?” You turned and smiled at him.

“No Kev, I asked him.” Kevin’s eyes widened and he clapped his hands together. Jughead huffed as Veronica and Archie exchanged a worried glance; but you were too happy to see the inner conflict wearing on your friends.

You swayed gently to the slow music which had just started to play. Reggie still wasn’t at the dance, leaving you dateless for the first twenty minutes. You tried to focus on the way Archie and Veronica were smiling at eachother and how Kevin and Joaquin slow-danced. It was nice seeing all of your new friends happy, but you wished you could be happy with them.

Still lost in thought, a tap on your shoulder made you jump. You turned your head, hoping to look up at Reggie, but found yourself staring into Jughead’s blue eyes.

“He’s still not here?” You shook you head slightly, mentally preparing yourself for Jughead’s expected rant. “What a dick,” he hissed, “you should be with someone who’s there for you, Y/N. Reggie won’t ever be that person.”

“How do you know that, Jughead?” You snapped, catching the boy off guard. “You don’t know what goes on in his life, how he feels. I know he’s done things, but hasn’t everyone?” Jughead stared at you in shock before regaining his composure.

“Someone like Reggie Mantle just doesn’t have a change of heart, Y/N.” You were about to snap at him again, defend Reggie once more, when someone else spoke up.

“Your date looks lonely, Jones. Why don’t you go talk to her instead?” You turned your head and saw Reggie standing behind you. It looked like he rushed here, as his cheeks were slightly flushed and his tie was lopsided. Jughead scoffed at his words.

“I know what you’re like, Reggie. I’ll be there when Y/N finds out who you are for herself.” With that, Jughead marched off, heading over to Betty who looked distraught and hurt.

“Hey, sorry I’m late I just was-” you reached up to straighten out his tie, which silenced his speech. You leaned back to admire your work and looked up at Reggie with a smile.

“It’s alright,” you said, “you’re here now, aren’t you?” Reggie gave you a dopey smile and extended his hand.

“May I have what’s left of this dance?’ You let out a giggle at his offer. You held his gaze and left an edge of doubt. If all the stories Archie and jughead told you were true, maybe this was a mistake. Before you could think any harder about it, you rested your hand in his; and with it, you planted your seed of hope. Hope that Reggie Mantle could, in fact, have a change of heart.

“You may,” you whispered and Reggie grinned as he pulled you to the dance floor.

Inspiration: An amazing anonymous person had requested this of me, and I can’t resist a little awkward and cute Peter. Also, the reader’s alias kinda spurred from a cheesy promposal.

Summary: The reader wants to confront Peter about choosing the world or her, and recounts flashbacks of when his “job” tore him away from their dates. She gets to the tower, but Peter has a surprise in store for her.

 Warnings: Maybe a little language

You and Peter always had fun times together, but you were starting to worry that he wasn’t as invested as you were.

Countless times now, he’d been pulled from one of your dates-that-aren’t-actually-dates to go be Spiderman and save the world. Countless times, he’s whisked away by the one and only Tony Stark to go fight the evil in the world. And you supported it wholeheartedly. Heck, you even wanted to help. But you were tired of it all.

'Spider-Man Homecoming' Star Tom Holland on His On-Set Injury and New Spidey Suit (Q&A)
"We really tried to convey that he's enjoying his superpowers," Holland tells THR about the way his Peter Parker differs from other big screen versions.

How did you pitch your take on Spider-Man to get the job as the director?

Watts: I went in to Marvel for a general meeting, and then they were talking about how they had teamed up with Sony and they had this opportunity to bring in Sony to the Marvel universe. They were leaning towards it being a high school movie, and I had been wanting to make a high school movie. I’d been watching every coming-of-age movie that there is because that’s a great excuse to not start writing, doing “research.” I was really about to speak to the subject about what I liked about coming-of-age movies, and we had this shared language. I was so excited about it that I was overflowing with ideas.

After Captain America: Civil War came out, did you pay attention to what fans were saying about your new take on Spider-Man?

Holland: People kept saying don’t pay attention to the comments, but I found it impossible not to. I think I was lucky that the majority of people were saying really nice things. I was a little nervous about the release, and I was over the moon with the response I got.

How would you describe your Peter Parker to people who’ve seen the previous big screen versions?

Holland: Different to the previous two. I felt very strongly about the question about what would happen if you gave a 15-year-old super powers. I think the answer would be he would have the time of his life. Yes, he would probably stop crime, but have so much fun doing it. We really tried to convey that he’s enjoying his superpowers. More often than not in superhero movies, the powers are a burden to the superhero but in our case, they’re the complete opposite.

Have you talked to Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield about playing Peter Parker?

Holland: I haven’t been in contact with them but they said really nice things about me online, which was a lovely thing to hear. I met Andrew at the BAFTAs recently and he was lovely. I’m a huge fan of his, especially the past couple of years, all the work he’s been doing. He wished me good luck. I was really happy to meet him.

What are you most proud of with this film?

Watts: I think it has a unique, surprising tone that’s different from the others, and different from the other movies in this universe. I’m pretty proud of the tone we struck. It’s fun. It’s able to go from a very small story, and really emotional small stakes and just get bigger and bigger until it’s on a massive scale without ever losing site of the story we were trying to tell.

Holland: I’ve never worked harder on anything in my life. It was a non-stop job and I felt so passionate and proud of what we were creating. I’m so proud that I was able to give my best, and I’m so grateful that I didn’t get injured. I did a lot of stunts. At the very end, I fell down some stairs, and tweaked my ACL just a little bit.

Did you need to take a few days off?

Holland: It was right at the end, so I managed to get through it. The funny thing is I think one of my last shots of the movie was me chasing a bus, and I couldn’t do it. My best friend Harrison was my assistant while we were out there so we dressed him up like me and had him run. So Harrison has a little cameo in the movie, which is great.

What was your own high school experience like?

Holland: I went to an English high school which is very different – it’s all boys, suit and tie. But I enrolled for three days in a high school in New York as a research exercise. I had a fake accent, a fake name. It was fun. The Bronx School of Science is a school for genius kids, and I’m definitely not a genius. A lot of the students and teachers were confused as to why I was there so they would test me, and fire off questions at me. It was a little embarrassing, but very informative.

The new Spider-Man suit has a spider-drone that comes out of the center emblem. How did you come up with new gadgets but stay loyal to what comic book fans know and love about Spider-Man?

Watts: There’s a precedent for it in the comic books because Tony Stark builds Peter a new suit. Tony Stark is a very bells and whistles kind of guy. We had that set up in Civil War. That was one of the fun brainstorm meetings: What could be in that suit? We made a list of all the neat things that Tony would put in there for Peter to discover or keep him safe. At one point, we just realized “what if that little spider could crawl out and move around and do surveillance?”

Holland: Our little drone has 10,000 things it could do. I think we found its proper use in the movie. It’s funny – he has a little relationship with the drone, like a little sidekick.

There’s already a release date for Homecoming 2. What’s going on with that. Are you directing?

Watts: I’ve gotta finish this one first – one at a time. There’s still a lot of VFX work to do in post. Talk to me on 7/8/17.

Being "The Only" in High School

Growing up, I went to predominantly white schools. I was often the only one at my school who looked liked me. I went to parochial school for kindergarten through 8th grade during which I was the only black girl in my class until 6th grade. And when I entered high school, I was one of maybe 6 black girls total in my class (3 of whom were half white so 1 of 3 completely black girls). High school was a rough time because this was when things like homecomings, dating and proms became relevant.

This is when it began. This is when I realized I would forever feel in competition with non-black women. I didn’t see it coming, I thought high school was going to be an opportunity to meet people who didn’t just see my skin color. I thought high school was going to be a chance to reinvent myself and expand my mind and my circle of friends. Meet boys. Fall in love. Live out my very own Taylor Swift circa 2009 music video. BOY WAS I WRONG.

Not only was I completely ostracized from the other girls at my all girls school (lolz) but boys (at the all boys school school across the street) didn’t take a second look at me. In fact, I had a better love life in middle school (probably strictly for the fact that it was a smaller pool of girls to choose from) BUT REGARDLESS, high school was a lost cause. I didn’t get asked to freshman or sophomore homecoming, and I got asked to my junior prom by my gay best friend (shouts out to Big E tho). I was in a proverbial drought when it came to boys. My white friends? Not so much.

I stood on the sidelines and watched as they got asked to dances, asked out on dates. I listened and gave my poorly grounded advice when they told me their boy problems. All the while waiting for my turn. (Which did eventually come by the way, just not until after high school was over).

The question I’m posing is, are we as black women in a sort of competition with women of other races? In short, I’d say yes and no. Yes on our side, no on everyone else’s. Let me explain.

Black women have been painted in a negative light for centuries. We’re somehow simultaneously overly sexualized and seen as a way for men to live out their fantasies but yet, at the same time viewed as “too strong” and borderline masculine. We’re too loud, too ratchet, not gentle enough, not meek enough. THE LIST LITERALLY GOES ON AND ON. If we twerk, we’re ghetto and a stereotype, but if a white girl does it, it’s a turn on and impressive that she can keep the beat. How this works, I’m not entirely sure. I try to just chuckle at the different expectations but after a while it does get rather irritating.

We see it as a competition (potentially), because we notice that we’re not being noticed. And not even just not being noticed by white men. Not noticed by any men, ever. Not even black men. It sounds dramatic but it really does start to feel like that after a while. So to us, it feels like we have to do so much more to compete with women of other races. But then, it’s not a competition because we’re not really ever in the running. (Such was my experience in high school. If you had a different experience then I’m literally so happy for you real talk).

Here’s what I have to say to you if you’re currently going through what I went through in high school. You are so beautiful and so unique in so many ways that little boys don’t really know what to do about it. At this stage, they want what’s familiar, what’s safe, what isn’t going to attract attention. If I had known this in high school, I would’ve just sashè’d through the halls like Rihanna down the Victoria’s Secret fashion show runway. But I didn’t see how beautiful and unique I was at the time.

Let me just tell you, NOTHING is wrong with you. Yes you are strong, but you are also gentle. You are sweet, intelligent, kind and lovely. Your time is coming.

Promises You Can't Keep- Peter Parker Imagine

This turned out longer than I expected…

Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader

Warnings: Angst, swearing, break up

You sighed. Peter had forgot about the date. Again. It had been going on ever since that man, Tony Stark talked to Peter. He would be fine and normal in a moment, but then looking anxious at his phone and rushing off to someplace else. Peter just wasn’t the same anymore. TICK, TICK, TICK. You sat on your bed, waiting for his calls. The time just felt slower without him.

You two started dating after homecoming when he dumped Liz Allan for you. He had promised you that he would always have the time for you, and would drop anything he was doing and go to you. “That isn’t working out very well.” I muttered.

Suddenly, you heard tapping on your window. There he was, Peter Parker dressed in a hoodie and jeans looking ruffled, but normal. You shot straight up. “Where’ve you been?” I said angrily as he climbed through the ledge and landing in your room. “Busy.” He just replied, flatly. “Don’t fuck with me, Peter.” I hissed. “I’ve been so worried! You’ve been ignoring my calls and texts!” He scratched the back of his neck absentmindedly.

“Jeez Y/N, you sound like Aunt May.” Peter said under his breath. “Well, what do you expect?! You’re out somewhere doing God-knows-what, and you don’t tell me!” I shouted. Red started to fill his face. “Guess what, Y/N? I’m allowed to have a life too! It doesn’t always have to involve you!” Peter yelled back. “I’m not trying to be nosy, I’m your girlfriend and I just want you to be safe!” I cried. He just stared at me, still angry. Then I started to put the pieces together.

“Oh my god… You’re- you’re not cheating on me, right Peter?” I whisper. The tears already spilling from my cheeks. “What?” Peter looked up with disbelief. “No! I would never do that to you, Y/N!” He said as he got up and pulled me into a tight hug, letting you cry on his shoulder. “Then please. Please tell me what’s going on, Peter.” I whispered as I pulled away. Peter had a look of hurt and hesitation on his face.

“I’m sorry… But I can’t tell you.” He whispered. It felt like an icicle was just pierced in me. “But why?” I said. “Why won’t you tell me? Please, I’m so worried that something’s happening and it’s breaking us apart.” I cried. I looked at him, expecting for him to open up. But he just stands there, looking down. He’s firm about his decision. “Then this isn’t going to work.” I whisper. His head shot right up when I said those words.

“If we’re not going to be honest with each other, then there’s no point in building a relationship in it.” I said, shaking. “We’re through, Peter. I’m sorry.” I said, the tears streaming endlessly now. “No, please, Y/N, let’s talk this out!” He compromises, him on the verge of tears. “It’s too late now. You should leave before your Aunt May starts worrying too.” I said shakily. He was at the door. “I’m sorry. This is my fault. But please, just let me make it up to you.” Peter said, his eyes puffy and red from crying.

"Those promises I made you when we first started, let me fulfill them again. Please, Y/N. Just give me another chance.“ Peter said solemnly. I almost wanted to start over again, a new start. But I needed to stay strong. “Well, Peter, I guess you shouldn’t make promises you can’’t keep.” I said, sadly as I closed the door, knowing that my friendship and relationship with Peter Parker had came to an end.

I cried writing this. :’(

I Don't Entirely Loathe You (Damian Wayne x Reader)

“It’s strange to be loved by someone who hates everyone”

Relationship: Damian x Reader

Warnings: Fluffy Fluff fluff

A/N: My first Damian imagine! Let me know if you want more. Also, send in some requests so I can make y’all happy and hopefully get out one imagine every day! (I also changed the prompt just a tiny bit)
P.S if y'all just need to talk to someone go ahead and talk to me! I’d love to be friends with you guys!

Damian Wayne was one of the kids at school who you’d think would be friends with everyone. Sure he had the looks, he was a Wayne, but no one could actually become friends with the boy. Everyone just wanted to get in good with one of the richest kids in Gotham, they wanted to use him. You on the other hand, just stayed away.

The first time you and Gotham’s Prince talked, you were in the library. It was lunchtime and usually that meant you were alone cozied up in the corner, your nose was in a book, and your lunch was untouched next to you when Damian Wayne strode in looking for a place to get away from the crowds trying to use him for money.

Reluctantly you helped and soon after that you became best friends. Now, you were sitting in one of the many guest bedrooms of Wayne manor. You and Damian had adapted this particular room as your “Friend Cave”. Anything the two of you did, whether it was playing video games or just watching a movie you did it in this room.

“What about Ellie?” You suggested. “She seems nice.”

“The girl is only ‘nice’ because she wants money.” Damian scowled.

“Damian! You don’t know that.” You laugh putting a piece of popcorn in your mouth.

“Yes I do!” He laughs back. “I heard her talking to her friends about it in the hallways.”

“Okay, I guess I was wrong.” You shrug eating more popcorn. “That still doesn’t change the fact that you need a homecoming date.”

“I have someone in mind.” He assures you.

“Yeah who?” You ask throwing a piece of popcorn at him earning a glare.

“Someone I don’t loathe.” He says simply.

The next day at school the two of you are walking to the library for lunch when you noticed something sitting on the beanbags the two of you sat on during this time of day.

It was a bag of popcorn with a note attached to it. ‘I don’t entirely loathe you, homecoming?’ You looked at Damian with a grin on your face.

“Nice to know I’m liked by someone who hates virtually everyone.” You say hugging him tightly.
He tenses at the movement but still hugs you nonetheless.

“So you’ll go to Homecoming with me?”

“Of course Dami.”

Instead of all the pain and suffering I’m sure we’re going to have to endure watching Jughead break down in episode 11, can we just have a 40 minute episode of Bughead having the most romantic homecoming date of all time including, but not limited to, wickedly flirtatious banter, awkward-at-first-but-surprisingly-impressive slow dances initiated by Jughead, and stars-and-fireworks kinds of kisses where the whole world kind of disappears and it’s just the two of them staring into each other’s soul for the remainder of the evening? That’s not too much to ask for right?

Spiderman-Homecoming Preference - Dating

A/N: Y’ALL I’ve been thinking of doing this for months but I didn’t get around to it but here I am! The reason I’ve been wanting to do this is because the whole point I started writing fanfic is because I wanted to write for unpopular characters and try to bring them more attention! I hope you guys enjoy, don’t forget requests are open so request some stuff!

Small Disclaimer: Because I haven’t seen much of anything for any of these characters besides Peter I’m kind of creating the characters so they may not be accurate to when the movie comes out.

A/N: If Jughead doesn’t do cute things in a dorky way then I don’t know what to expect. Also sorry if this is short, I’m writing this at like 3am.

“Do I look okay Betty? Is it too much?” Jughead asks the blonde.

“Juggie, I think you look very handsome.” Betty confirms, trying to calm Jughead’s nerves.

“What if they say no? Or already have a date?”

“I know for a fact they do not have a date and would be excited to have you ask them.” Betty smiles at him.

Peter Parker X Reader

A/N:  Summer is here and I finally have time to write, thank goodness.  I finally have time to write.  So here are some of my new summer writings.  Enjoy!

Request: “Can you please write a fic that’s peter x reader. Where they have a secret relationship at school and go on secret dates and stuff but then it ends with peter asking the reader to homecoming in front of the whole school. Ps can you make it a gay relationship” -Anonymus

I willing to accept requests and my tag list is always open.  Thank you all so much and enjoy! Masterlist

You waited on the roof of your apartment building, shivering in your sweatshirt.  Peter had told you he would be here, but you had been waiting for an hour and hadn’t seen him.  You were turning around to go back inside when you heard a thump behind you.  You flipped around to see Peter sitting in his Spider-Man suit on the side of the roof.

“There you are.  I have been waiting for you for almost an hour.”  You walked toward him.

“Sorry.  I was stopping bad guys and lost track of time.”  He pulled off his mask, his curls falling on his face.  You pushed them off his forehead and sat down next to him.

“Of course.”  You sat there in silence, holding Peter’s gloved hand in your cold one.  “The homecoming dance is coming up and someone asked me to go with them today.”  Peter turned to look at you and you faced him.

“What did you tell them?”  There was some pain in his voice.  You two had agreed that you would keep your relationship a secret.  Peter suggested it was for the best.  If anyone found out his identity, then everyone he loved would be in danger, and he didn’t want you to go through that constant fear.

“I told him that I wasn’t going.  I thought we could spend the night together.”  You offered him a small smile.  You understood why Peter wanted to keep you safe, but that didn’t mean it was easy for you.

“That sounds great.”  Peter returned your smile and pulled you closer toward him.  “I know that it is hard, but I think that it is for the best.”

“Ya, Peter.  I know.  You are just trying to keep me safe.”  You curled up close to his chest, but instead of staying still, he stood up and held a hand out toward you.

“Stand up, I want to show you something.”  You took his hand and he pulled you up.

“Ok, Peter.  What are you doing?”  He pulled you to the middle of the middle of the roof.

“I just learned a trick.  Turn around and close your eyes.”  You followed his odd instructions, laughing a little about how awkward it felt.  The web lashed out and attached to your hand. The web was pulled and slowly pulled you toward Peter.  It flipped you around and stumbled.  Peter caught you in his arms and pulled you close in his embrace.  Your eyes flew open and you found yourself a few inches from Peter, staring into his rich, chocolate brown eyes.

“Oh, is this how Spider-Man goes about picking up girls?”  You raised an eyebrow at him, holding a laugh inside.

“Well, in this variation, yes.  But originally I use it to throw enemies off balance.  I just don’t hug them.”  He gave a laugh.

“Does Spider-Man go around picking up any other girls?”  A teasing look covered your face and you stifled another laugh.

“Just one.”  He pulled you in closer and kissed you.  “Just my secret love.”  A smile crossed your face.  You loved Peter, but you wish you could share your love for him with the world.

The next day you were at school when your friend came rushing up to you when you were in front of your locker.

“I hear you aren’t going to homecoming!”  She was frantic and out of breath.

“Ya.  I just felt like spending a night at home.”  You tried to calm her down, shrugging it off.

“But what about our plans?  We were supposed to go to homecoming as a group!”  You suddenly remembered the promise you had made.  You had promised her, and your entire group of friends, that they would all go together as a group with our dates.

“Ya, but you all got dates, and I didn’t.  I would just be a third wheel, or whatever it would be.”  You shut your locker and turned to her.

“You got asked to go yesterday though!”  This was all too complicated.  Why couldn’t you just spend the night at home with your boyfriend?

Well, I had already made my decision when I was asked.”  You looked around nervously and waited for an excuse to get out of the conversation.

“What plans could you possibly have that would be better than going to Homecoming and hanging out with your friends?”  Quickly, you said the first thing that came to your mind.

“I promised my mom I would babysit my little sister while she was out of town.”  That was only partially true.  You were going to babysit your little sister, but your mother had gotten a babysitter so you could have gone to Homecoming.

“Well…that sucks.”  Your friend had finally calmed down. “ We will miss you at the dance.”  She offered you a smile.  You smiled back and then began to walk down the hall.  You made it halfway down the hall when you met a crowd of people that were whispering quietly.  You stood on your tiptoes to try to see above the group, but it was too big.  Suddenly the group parted and people began to push you forward.  You were confused on what was going on.  It was like a scene from a movie or something.

When you finally stop being pushed forward down the hall, you were in front of a large poster with flashing lights.  It has in big letters, the words: “Y/N Y/L/N.”  Someone cleared their voice and you turned around to see Peter standing there nervously, with a bouquet of flowers hidden behind him.

“Peter?”  You raise an eyebrow at him.

“Y/N.  Will…will be my date to homecoming?”  Peter held the flowers out to you.  You took them and pulled them close to your face to smell them.  Perfect.

“Yes.”  You leaned in and gave Peter a large embrace, slightly smashing the flowers.  You whispered into his ear.  “But what about keeping me safe?”  He pulled away just enough to look you in the eyes.

“I don’t care.”  You smiled and then realized that people around you were clapping.  You pulled away as the bell rang.

“I have got to get to class.  I will see you later?”  Peter nodded and you started to walk away smiling.  You friend caught up with you as you were walking away.

“What about babysitting?”  She asked confused.

“You know I have had a crush on Peter for a while.  I can talk to my mom about getting a babysitter for my sister.  It is worth it to go to homecoming with Peter Parker.”  She didn’t need to know about our secrets about our relationship.

A Rose by Any Other Name

Request: Hi! Can I request an imagine with Peter Parker x reader where she’s an extraverted artistic popular girl (she writes poetry) with dyed hair who’s friends with Peter and has a crush on him but he’s completely oblivious to it and they act like a couple already but it’s just bc they connect together so well and soon she can’t help herself but say “dude I have huge crush on u how can u be so bLIND” or something like that. I love this blog so much it’s such a blessing 😭😭😭

Peter walked into the classroom with  a couple of his friends. He was talking animatedly to them about something you couldn’t hear, but he was so cute and excited that it didn’t even matter. His face was alight with passion, and you imagined he was talking about rebuilding his computer, something he’d been planning to do since midterms were over and he was a bit ahead in his school work.

“Are you just gonna stare at him?” your friend Liz questioned.

“What?” You hadn’t really comprehended her words. Her voice startled you out of your reverie and she laughed at your bewildered expression.

“You should write him a poem. Something like Peter, dear sweet Peter how your eyes remind me of candles in the window of the home of my heart.”

“That’s ridiculous. Wouldn’t even be a good line,” you laughed.

“Is she pining over Parker again?” your other friend, Betty asked as she sat down in the desk next to you.

“Yes,” Liz laughed.

“I am not, pining,” you protested.

“Good, you don’t have to pine, he’d be lucky to have you. A nerd like him dating one of the most popular girls at school,” Betty quipped.

You frowned at that, sure you were popular, but not because you particularly wanted to be. You were a people person, a talker, people were attracted to that kind of personality, “He’s not just some nerd,” you rebuked, “he’s a good person.”

“A rose by any other name,” Liz went on teasing.

“The captain of the football team wants to go out with you and you’re pining over Peter Parker. Excuse me for being a little confused about your priorities,” Betty scoffed.

“We are young, Betty. We are young and infinite and the titles we press to our chest mean nothing to the universe. A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet, and a good person under any other title will still be good.”

“Ugh, can’t you save it for the poetry club?” Betty groaned.

“I thought it was beautiful,” Liz bumped her shoulder into yours, “You’re just mad because you can’t land the football captain.”

“Yes!! And she’s throwing away the opportunity for Peter frikin Parker!” Betty exclaimed. You clamped a hand over her mouth.

“Betty! Shush. Jeez, I’ll put in a good word for you.” you promised.

“Go talk to him before class starts,” Liz urged hitting you with her shoulder again, as if to give you a physical push toward him. You took her advice and went over to Peter. You sat on  the table where he and his friends were as you walked over they looked up and greeted you happily.

“I was just talking about my computer,” Peter filled you in.

“I figured you were. You know I’m lost when it comes to your cool tech stuff,” you smirked.

“It’s not so hard, it’s like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, all  you need is to see the whole picture.”

“Hey, metaphors are my thing Parker,” you teased poking him in the shoulder.

“It’s why I use them, it’s the only way you understand my techno babble. By the way, I heard you got a poem published in the paper, congrats.”

“Oh please, it’s just the paper, who even reads those anymore?”

“Fancy publishers. This could be your big break.”

“If it is, I’ll have you take the picture for the cover of my first book,” you laughed.

Liz and Betty watched the two of you from their place in the back of the class. Well, Liz watched, Betty was complaining about something or another.

“I think they’re cute together. I mean half the school already thinks they’re a couple,” Liz murmured.

“It’s social suicide,” Betty responded.

“Oh come on, Peter’s sweet, and just look at them, look how happy she is.”

You were laughing at something Manuel, one of Peter’s friends had said, leaning on Peter for support so you wouldn’t topple off the table with how hard you were laughing. Liz smiled at that; you and Liz were close, closer than either of you were to Betty. In retrospect, she wasn’t really sure how Betty became a part of your little group. She often wondered how to get rid of her. The bell signaling the beginning of class rang and you hurried back to your seat with a giddy smile on your face.

“Peter says he’s going to homecoming this year,” you grinned.

“Yeah? Does he have a date already?” Liz  asked.

“He and his friends are going as a group.”

“Maybe you can ask him to homecoming.”

“I don’t want to ruin their group thing. I’ll see them there though.”

Class started and there was little talk between any of you as the lesson went on. A class ended you got held up talking to Liz and while you were trying to catch up to Peter, the captain of the football team, Eric, stopped you in the hall. Liz stood beside you and rolled her eyes as he and his buddies walked up.

“Hey, Y/N,” he greeted.

“Hey, Eric, what’s up?” you asked with a friendly smile. He smiled back and glanced at one of his friends over his shoulder as if he was sealing some kind of deal.

“I heard you don’t have a date to homecoming. How about you and I got together?”

“… No thanks. I’ve got plans to go with friends… You should ask Betty though. I know she’s still looking for a date.”

“Psh your loss, babe,” he shrugged, walking past you as he and his friends laughed. You rolled your eyes and gave Liz an exasperated glance. She laughed a little at your expression. As you started off towards Peter’s locker your really Peter was in fact right there, staring holes into the back of Eric’s head.

“Peter, hey!” you called braving through the lanes of walking high schoolers to get to him. He looked at you and mustered up a smile but it seemed off,  forced, “I wanted to walk with you to English… is everything alright?”

“Yeah, yeah, come on.”

You waved to Liz as she went in the opposite direction towards her own class. Peter was uncharacteristically quiet that block, but by the time lunch rolled around he seemed like himself again. The lunch room was buzzing, as homecoming was next week and everyone was excited for the football game and the dance. You were excited too. Today you sat next to Michelle. She was going to wear a tux to Homecoming.

“I’ve got to outdo the boys every way I can,” she smiled giving the boys a smug smirk.

“Do you have pictures?” you asked excitedly.

“Yes I do,” she pulled out her phone and the two of you talked about her suit.

“What about you, Y/N?” Peter asked.

“She’s probably color coordinating with someone. Didn’t Eric ask you to homecoming?” Manuel asked.

“He did, but I’m not going with him. I’ll probably just go alone, but I do have a dress picked out, but you guys can’t see it until the day of. Michelle however, can see it now,” you grinned showing her your phone.

“Oh, wow,” her face went blank with awe and shock.

“It’s good right?”

“Beautiful. Jesus.” she  nodded.

Peter was quiet again, and he was for the rest of the lunch period.

Homecoming rolled around and you were putting the finishing touches  on your hair and make up. Your mother was a great helping hand and she took enough pictures to fill a book. Betty and Liz had dates but you were still riding with them to the dance. Your mom had you all get together and take pictures in the living room before letting you guys leave. The homecoming theme this year was old Hollywood, so you entered the gym on a red carpet. It bothered a little that your friends were all arm and arm with their dates walking and you were alone. But before you had a chance to get down in the dumps about it, Liz wrapped an arm around your waist and smiled at you. Suddenly her date was more of a third wheel then you are.

“You look amazing. You’ll knock Parker’s socks right off.” she grinned at you.

Peter stood in a far off corner talking with his friends, and critiquing the choice of music, when Michelle let out a low whistle.

“Y/N just walked in, Parker.” despite the fact that Michelle’s words were meant for Peter, everyone turned to look at you, and everyone’s jaw dropped. You walked in with a radiant smile in a dress made to fit you and only you. They couldn’t even imagine anyone else wearing it. Peter felt sorry for everyone else in the room, including himself, how the hell were they supposed to share a room with this much beauty. He quickly pushed those feelings down, you were a popular kid. You were supposed date big football guys, not nerds like himself. That thought vanished when you made eye contact with him and your smile grew impossibly brighter. The feelings he tried to push down came right back up to drown him as you came his way. However as you were on your way Eric stopped you. You looked up at him with a smile and talked for a little while.

“Ugh, I wish that fuckboy would leave Y/N alone, she’s too good for him,” Michelle complained. Peter turned around, not wanting to watch Y/N get whisked away by some guy he could never be.

You waited impatiently for Eric to stop talking to you. He was retelling his victory in the homecoming a game. A game that you had seen, and therefore didn’t need the play by play of the winning throw.

“That’s great, Eric, I’ve got some friends I want to-” you tried to get past him but he caught you by the waist, you pushed his hand off of you, “Didn’t you come here with Betty? Why don’t you go find her?” your voice was hard no nonsense.

“Ew, he’s still trying,” Michelle was still complaining.

“Michelle, if she wants to date Eric,” Peter began but his voice recoiled at Eric’s name in disgust, “then that’s none of our business. She doesn’t belong to us.”

“Oh bull, you guys are practically married,” Michelle argued, “I’ve seen the way you look at her.”

“Well she’s not mine so…” Peter shrugged.

“Come on man,” Manuel groaned, “you’re the best of all of us. You have to do it for us. We can let her get sucked into the black hole that is Eric.”

“Oh oh, she’s coming this way,” Michelle warned. You walked up to them a bright smile back on your face.

“Look at you guys! You clean up well,” you complimented, “And Michelle, you are killing that tux. Fuck. It. Up. Sis.”

“Thank you, thank you,” Michelle gave a bow, “but nevermind me, look at you. Doesn’t she look great, Peter?”

“Yeah,” he answered dejectedly.

“Peter you look really good too, second only to Michelle in her suit.” you teased, despite the stinging blow his disinterest was.

“Thanks.” he responded half heartedly.

“We’re gonna get some punch,” Michelle announced taking Manuel with her. You and Peter watched them go, and you realized they were giving you time alone.

“Peter did I do something wrong?” you asked curiously.

“No, no, but you should probably get back to Eric, he’ll wonder where you are,” he grumbled.

“I see how he looks at you. It’s fine, I’m not gonna take offense to it. I know how the social hierarchy works.”

“You are so blind… Jesus, I’m not gonna date Eric, he can look at me anyway he’d  like and my answer would be still be no.”

“Why, is there someone else?” he was looking down at his feet now.

“Yes, there is, and he’s unbelievably cute and petty as hell.”

“Well get to him then,” he was pouting now.

“Oh my god!! You idiot, it’s you. I like you!” you groaned. His head snapped up to look at you.

“You couldn’t tell. Why else does a girl interested in nothing but art and poetry take an interest in building computers. It’s you Peter. It’s always been you.”

“You like me?” he was dumbfounded, it never occurred to him that you could like him back.

“Yes, you genius idiot.”

“I…I like you too. A lot, a lot and you look so gorgeous tonight and-”

You cut him off with a hug, laughing at your predicament, “Dance with me before I change my mind about you.”

He looked at you like you were the eighth world wonder and nodded because he couldn’t find his voice to answer. As you took to the dance floor you noticed Liz throwing you a thumbs up. At the same time Peter noticed Michelle and Manuel grinning at them. You both looked away from your  friends and made eye contact.

“I can’t believe you made me spell it out for you,” you laughed.

“Well it’s hard to believe that the prettiest girl in school would fall for a nerd like me.”

“A rose by any other name,” you smiled and kissed his nose, making him blush.
