I guess I need to open my upperback and shoulders more so my #hollowback pinchas don’t appear like headstands. Happy Hollowbackaween days!

Joining in on the #hollowbackaween fun today with some #handstand hollowback. There is a constant balance between strength and flexibility in the practice. More muscle usually limits how open you can be. Always being humbled.. #takeitslow #patience #yoga #love

Week 1 for #HOLLOWBACKAWEEN challenge! Double Stag Leg Hollowback

This is one of the more easily accessible hollowbacks because your legs counteract the weight allowing you to drop down further.

Instructions for getting into this variation of the Hollowback
1. Come onto forearms and lift your hips towards the sky.
2. Walk you feet in as far as you can while keeping your head off the floor.
3. Kick one leg over head and let the knee bend.
4. Pull the rear leg into your chest and find your balance.(at this point you are in forearmstand with stag legs)
5. Look back and through your arms instead of the floor
6. Using the breath begin to puff out your chest
7. Smile! You are doing your first hollow back
