So if Dark's bad lock him in the closet?

They didn’t know about Dark’s claustrophobia until Wilford shoved him in a closet one day. Dark went silent for a few seconds before panicking.
“Will, let me out now! I-I can’t breathe in here.” It’s was like the walls were closing in, inches away and getting nearer by the moment. His breath came in quick hitches and fits.
Wilford heard this from the other side of the door and opened it to find Dark cowering in the corner of the closet with actual tears in his eyes. “Dark?”
Dark brushed past Wilford and walked briskly away, leaving the pink Ego staring at his back feeling oddly guilty.

Early Morning Sun

The morning sun filtered into the room, its warm rays hitting my face in a way that the bright light blinded me, even with my eyes tightly shut. Calling on every cell in my being, I manged to shift my heavy body, shielding my face against Shawn’s shoulder. He groaned sleepily, moving his arm to rest around my waist as I pressed a gentle kiss against his bare skin.

So very slowly, my body began waking up for the day. My eyes slipped open for a moment, I was met with the cheerfully lit room, making my eyes squeeze shut. I tried again, his time with more luck as I forced them to stay open, eventually adjusting to the light.

The room looked oddly beautiful for such an early time. I could see now that the sun was just beginning to rise, casting hues of pink and orange and yellow on the walls around us. Outside, birds began chirping as a few cars drove along the mostly vacant road below.

My focus turned back to the Shawn as he shuffled beside me. At first I thought he was going to wake up, his back slightly arching causing the white sheets to pool around his back, but he soon settled down again, a couple of light snores escaping his parted lips.

It was crazy how he still managed to look so good, even when he was asleep. Despite his long eight-hour flight a few days ago, his face still seemed bright, no dark circles or anything. He just looked so soft and innocent with his messy hair and almost rosy cheeks.

I trailed my fingers along his arm, ghosting over every curve and dip of his muscles until I reached his back, stopping to draw shapes along his sun kissed skin. Glancing up, his eyes were still shut, but there was a small grin playing on his lips, giving me a sigh as my fingers slipped over the more sensitive patches, dancing over the angry looking red marks. I smiled to myself, remembering what happened last night.

Shawn suddenly shifted again, this time moving onto his side to fully face me, only to be met with the same blinding sun light as his eyes fluttered open.

“Hi.” He greeted sleepily.  

“Hi.” I repeated as I combed my hand through his hair, brushing out some of the messier strands. His eyes fell shut again, his head leaning into my actions.

“That feels nice.” He purred, his voice muffled by the pillow making me giggle. Shawn’s eyes snapped open at the sound, his grin growing bigger, “I had a dream about you last night.”

“Was it good?” I jumped at the feeling of his hand on my thigh, fingers tickling my bare skin as they slid higher and higher under the hem of grey long-sleeved shirt I stole from his suitcase before falling asleep.

“Very.” I expected him to say more but he didn’t. Instead his head fell to my shoulder, his lips leaving hot little kisses along the exposed skin there. I tilted my head, giving him more room meanwhile his fingers finally found their place at the hem of my underwear.

“Seems like it.” I choked on my words when two of his long fingers dipped under the band. Well, someone was eager.

“You were doing some wonderful things with your mouth.” It sounded like he was trying to hold back his own groans, “I feel like I should pay you back.”

Cursing under my breath, I hooked my leg over his so his hand had more room. He quickly took this to his advantage, finding the sensitive spot that made me shiver.

I felt his smirk against my shoulder, “Is this okay?”

Breathless, I nodded. My hand found his hair, guiding him up our lips could meet in a gentle kiss. Shawn hummed contently, his fingers starting their leisurely work on me. We kissed for as long as we could, keeping the same painfully steady pace until the burning in our lugs became too much to handle.

Biting my lip, my breath hitched again as he fit a particularly great spot. Shawn watched my face with lazy eyes, figuring out what felt good for me so he could do it again and again. The grip on his hair tightened as the pressure deep in my stomach continued to build.

“Does this feel good, Baby?” His smirk was back, chuckling at the spew of curses I mumbled under my breath, the palm of his large hand rubbing against me every time his fingers ventured deeper. This happened a few more times before the pressure finally caved in, sending waves washing over my body. My hand caught his, stilling his actions, every little feeling severally heightened by pleasure.

I let out a tiny whimper when he pulled his fingers away, my legs clamping closed at the emptiness. A dirty thought popped into my mind as Shawn went to clean his hand like he normally did. I quickly grabbed his hand, slipping his two digits into my mouth. His mouth fell open, and while the taste wasn’t the best, I pushed past it, enjoying the look of pure shock on his face as I sucked off the wetness, my eyes not once dropping from his wide ones.

“Shit, Alex.” He let out his own curse, desire burning in his eyes as he pulled his fingers free. My face burned hotter than the sun, knowing that was probably the dirtiest thing I’ve done which is pretty lame. But Shawn didn’t seem to care. Grabbing my hips, he rolled onto his back, dragging me on top of him.

“Want to recreate some of my dream?” Shawn asked with a cheeky wink, his cockiness fading when I pushed back against his hardness making me laugh.

Anon, I’m super sorry this took so long. I didn’t know what I wanted to write for it. I even ended up scrapping a first draft and starting over I was so unsatisfied.

Just one night, Jungkook’s roommate Taehyung had told him, You can’t hole up in the dorm all the time. You don’t even study that much.

He didn’t, true, but that didn’t make him any less bored and annoyed now. 

The pair of them were walking out of the perimeter of their vast university campus, on the way to a pub just a couple blocks across from it.

“Hyung,” Jungkook bemoaned childishly, “I don’t want to meet your friends from PCC. It’s Friday night. I could be at Anime Club.”

Taehyung looked aghast. “And sit in a dark lecture hall with a bunch of other forever-alones marathoning through Log Horizon on the projector? I don’t think so.”

“First of all,” Jungkook muttered, slamming the button for the pedestrian light at the intersection, “it’s One Punch Man tonight—”

“I don’t care,” Taehyung groaned, pushing at Jungkook’s shoulder. “Look, if it makes you feel any better, we can go find an empty classroom tomorrow and do the same thing. Like losers.”

“Okay,” Jungkook said in a clipped tone, full of resolution. “Bye!”

“What the—? Get back here!” Taehyung grabbed Jungkook’s arm in a vice grip when the latter tried to walk in the opposite direction then proceeded to drag him along. “Come on, we’re practically there.”

Sure enough, The Hitman, a modest pub with a rustic wooden structure and decorated with stringed lights, stood at the end of the block. It was already filled with students, out on the patio on the side and milling outside on the front porch. He could see them through the open doors of the establishment itself, too. He could hear the noise even from where the two of them were.

“Great,” Jungkook sighed. He hated socializing. At least with Anime Club, no talking was needed.

Taehyung finally let go of him when they reached it. He pointed to the patio area beside the building. “Look, they’re right there.”

Jungkook followed his finger. There were enough people for him to not be able to tell who he was looking at, but if he had to guess, the two friends they were supposed to meet were the two boys sitting across from each other on a wooden bench at the corner of the patio, chatting rather excitedly. They definitely stood out, as sunny and eye-catching as Taehyung himself even when wearing dark colors.

“Two more versions of you,” he muttered, unenthusiastic. He adored Taehyung, really, but sometimes he just had to be in a certain mood to deal with his presence.

“I guess so,” Taehyung said, and charged ahead. 

“Where are you–”

Jungkook watched embarrassingly as Taehyung gripped the wooden barrier with one hand and leaped over. He did it so exaggeratedly that he caught the attention of a few of the neighboring tables.

My roommate is either a ninja or a monkey. 

Jungkook refused to follow suit and took the long way, entering through the front and sauntering to the side door. 

When he arrived to their table, one of the friends, a slender one with raven hair parted in the middle, was in the middle of telling a story. Taehyung was tucked into his side, watching him with an affectionate smile Jungkook has never seen before.

That must be the guy he keeps talking about in the dorm, he concluded. Jung Hoseok. He suspected Taehyung had a huge crush on him and it was sort of obvious now.

Jungkook sat himself in the empty spot next to the other friend—a baby-faced brunet with a pearly-white smile—as Hoseok continued.

“And I was like this, you know?” he was saying, making wide motions with both arms, similar to swimming strokes. “Like, the dance showcase was coming up and the elevator had mirrors, right? Well, I was practicing a bit and got bored, so I started doing this and lying on the floor.”

The boy next to him giggled. Jungkook half-turned toward him. Even though the atmosphere around them was loud, Jungkook could hear him clearly. He could feel it, too, with their shoulders barely touching as the other’s shook with amusement.

Jungkook ducked his head and shoved his hands into his jacket pockets, warmth shamefully pressing into his ears. The guy was cute, he guessed.

“So then,” Hoseok went on dramatically, “the elevator doors open! I didn’t even hear that ding. And this woman randomly walked while I was still on the ground doing this and grunting like a seal—”

And then it came–the crashing wave of the brunet’s laughter. It struck Jungkook’s heart with something airy and sweet, like a breezy spring day in a flower field. It sounded high-pitched and staccato, and it was bigger and louder than his little, slender body. 

Jungkook couldn’t help but stare at him collapsing against the corner of the patio side, clutching his sides, stamping his feet against the ground merrily like a child would. He was so cute, far too much for Jungkook to take, even, and he was not someone easily won over. 

It got to a point where he had to take a moment to hide his heated face in his hands. He was melting fast. 

“Jimin, it’s not that funny,” Hoseok said, frowning with a bit of disbelief.

“Shut up! I can’t help it when you make all those faces!”

“Jimin?” Jungkook repeated without thinking. He didn’t mean to utter it, much less say it loud enough for the others to hear. 

But because of it, Jimin looked his way, his eyes turned to crescents and teary from how hard he laughed, mouth still stretched into a smile. It was infectious; Jungkook couldn’t resist one of his own before he faced front.

“Oh,” Taehyung spoke up rather blandly. “I guess it’d help if I introduced you guys.”

He poked a finger into the top of Hoseok’s hand, which was rested on the table. “Jungkook, this is Hoseokie-hyung, one of the event coordinators for PCC.”

Hoseok grinned and nodded in greeting. His smile was bright, too, but not like Jimin’s.

Taehyung gestured to Jimin. “That idiot there is my best friend from high school, Jimin. He’s my age. He transferred this semester from a shittier scho—”

“Wait,” Jimin interrupted, finally sobered up from his laughing fit. He hitched a thumb sideways at Jungkook. “This is your roommate?”

“Do you ever listen to anything I say? I told you ten times that he was coming! Who did you think I bringing?”

“You didn’t tell me he was so cute!”

“Is that all you think about?” Hoseok sighed.

“Of course not. I’m just saying. And I’ve been to Tae Tae’s, but how come I’ve never seen him?” He glanced at Jungkook. “How come I never see you?”

Jungkook’s flustered state doubled. “I’m not that social,” he replied, self-consciously rubbing the back of his neck.

Taehyung rolled his eyes. “Literally, every time I tell him I have one of my friends coming over, he leaves to go to the arcade alone or something.”

Jimin raised a brow at Jungkook. “Then what made you come out tonight?”

“I was forced to.” He also thought Taehyung would finally shut up once he actually did come out.

“How do you feel about it now?” Taehyung asked pointedly, glancing between him and Jimin with a smirk.

“Um.” Heat flared Jungkook’s face when he peeked at Jimin beside him. “It’s not bad.”

“Not bad,” Jimin echoed, looking down at his drink. He smiled. “I’ll take it.”

There was something intimate about how they exchanged looks right then. Jimin made him feel warmer than any drink could, and made his heart race more profoundly than anyone could. Jungkook was sure that he was the first person in a long time to even gain his interest, much less to this degree.

Forced to, maybe; initially. But now regret was far from his mind.

A few drinks and a shared order of pork fries later, Jungkook felt comfortable  enough to actually add to the conversation instead of passively observe it. He was getting drunk, after all, with a warm and probably bright red face, a dizzy numbness, and a giddy assertiveness that didn’t make him feel bashful or embarrassed about talking to people he barely knew. 

And Taehyung, for once, was a helpful friend. But Jungkook would never tell him that out loud, or that he appreciated him dragging him out because he did kind of need social interaction from time to time.

“Hey, Jungkook, tell Jimin about the time we went paintballing.”

“You never take me paintballing!” Jimin whined at Taehyung.

“You literally just got here like two months ago,” Taehyung huffed. “We haven’t had the chance to go since we came back from break.”

Jimin scowled, but listened attentively as Jungkook went right into his story. It wasn’t that exciting, but the light of Jimin’s eyes ignited this desire to entertain him. With intoxicating warmth surrounding him and Jimin, he would’ve told him his entire life story if it meant hearing that laugh again.

“—and the paintball hit right by my elbow,” Jungkook went on in a slurred, excited voice. He illustrated his point with exaggerated sound effects, which sent Jimin swaying into Jungkook’s shoulder he was laughing so hard.

“He really does laugh at everything,” Hoseok said, chuckling before taking a swig of his beer.

“Told you,” Taehyung commented. He grinned slyly. “Not that Jungkook cares or anything.”

Jungkook, meanwhile, caught Jimin as he threw himself back, hooking an arm around his back when the brunet almost fell from another fit of cute, full-bodied laughter erupting out of him.

A laugh burst out of Jungkook’s own lips, so captivated by Jimin that he ended up tightening his hold around him, keeping the warmth, the joy, the sweetness, all to himself.

Time flew by quickly. It was nearing 2 A.M. and the close of the pub when Hoseok pried them apart. Funny–Jungkook was usually slow to get close to people, even physically. But between drinks and another successful attempt at making Jimin giggle until he couldn’t breathe, Jungkook found comfort in the body tucked into him.

It must be the alcohol
, he thought. It’ll be awkward later.

And strangely, he cared about that. He was usually blasé about these things; if people he just met didn’t like him, he would just shrug and move on. But he didn’t want that awkwardness with Jimin later. He wanted to see him again. He wanted to get to know him. He wanted to get close, and tried to hint that when he, in his lingering haze, allowed Jimin to re-attach himself to him as the four left The Hitman to go home, pulled by the coyness of Jimin’s smile.

He also had been just as reluctant as Jimin to depart when they came upon intersection that separated the ways to Jimin’s and Hoseok’s apartment complexes and the university campus, where Jungkook and Taehyung’s dorm was.

“You like him~” Taehyung drawled in a sing-song voice as the two of them continued their way back.

“Leave me alone,” Jungkook scoffed.

“I hope you got his number, at least. I’m not giving it to you.”

“No,” Jungkook muttered, regret sinking his heart. How stupid of him. “I didn’t.

“What? After all that flirting?” Taehyung laughed. “I guess that means you’ll have to go to the next PCC meeting. I’m not bringing him over until you do.”

“Seriously?” Jungkook groaned, even though he could not forget how cute and angelic Jimin looked when he laughed, or how warm he felt when they leaned against each other the rest of the night. Jimin had molded into him so well—almost as if he belonged there. 

“I guess,” he followed up in a soft murmur, half-hoping Taehyung wouldn’t hear because Jungkook was incredibly stubborn about the smallest things.

Jimin may be worth the torture of socialization.

Fantasy Drabble VI

“There is a world where whenever someone fantasizes about you, you can physically feel it, but you have no idea who is thinking it about you.”

Stiles knows it’s wrong, but he’s been Fantasizing about Derek and he can’t bring himself to stop. Derek doesn’t know who’s taken an interest in him, but he’s enjoying it way more than he probably should.

I - II - III - IV - V

The tone of the Fantasies doesn’t exactly change after that. Derek still finds himself panting into his mattress late at night, groin hitching against hips that fit too well into the shape of his palms, mouthing wetly against a neck that stretches and groans silent encouragement, body surging back against him rough and frantic with need until they both tumble over that edge into toe-curling bliss…

But there are new little additions to their routine as well, the way the body will curl up next to him afterward, long fingers trailing through his hair and soft, unheated kisses brushing his temple until he dozes off.

There are the moments of unexpected warmth that flood over him throughout the day – strong arms and a warm body suddenly against him in a way that should feel stifling but somehow manages to leach all the tension right out of him.

It happens at the most random moments, with no way to prepare for it – while he’s out running, doing chores, eating dinner – and Derek realizes quickly that it isn’t a prelude to anything, not some new type of foreplay, when he tries to reciprocate with a kiss and finds a pair of fingers brushing his lips, holding him off. So, just a hug then. Just… comfort.

He’s not sure what to make of it, this new development in their… not relationship, because to have a relationship he’d have to have even the slightest idea who he’s having the relationship with.

And the fact that he doesn’t is starting to affect him in ways it hadn’t when it was just sex between them.

Hitch Fit's 25 Tips to Staying Motivated

To avoid falling off the wagon, or losing your motivation in the first place, here are 25 tips to help you maintain your motivation to achieve your goals once you have established where your specific drive is coming from.

1. Develop a positive attitude: The first thing you need to achieve your goals is a positive attitude. Negativity towards what is necessary to achieve what you want in life will only set you up for failure. Stay focused on the positive, write down the positives that are in your life right now, and all the wonderful things that you will achieve, feel and see happen in your life when you make the right choices day in and day out. Your attitude towards anything in life is completely under your control, take charge of that power and you can see the upside of any situation.

2. Identify your obstacles:  You may have been making excuses for years as to why you don’t possess the power and responsibility to make the choices necessary to achieve your goals. Be sure to own up to the excuses you have been making and identify them as obstacles that you can now overcome. Early on identify the obstacles that are going to pop up along the way, and come up with strategies that you will incorporate to get around them when they happen.

3. Find an exercise mode that you enjoy: There are plentiful ways that you can train in order to achieve your fitness goals. It’s important for you to try new things and find methods that you enjoy. Waking up every day dreading what you have to do is going to push you towards skipping your training. Whether it’s strength training in the gym, playing your favorite sport or heading out for a hike or bike ride, figure out what is going to energize you and that you will adhere to.

4. Exercise with a friend: This is a great way to stay accountable.  Especially early on in your training, you may be more motivated by knowing that someone is at the gym or on the hiking trail waiting for you. Working out with a loved one or a friend can be rewarding in many ways.  This can help your relationship become closer and you both can get in shape and become healthier.   Many people feel nervous when going to a new gym so signing up with a friend can cut all the nervousness out.

5. Set realistic goals:  Goal setting is crucial, much like your job you will have goals, quotas or projections that you want to meet.  Set goals that are attainable for you, set short term goals and long term goals. Do not set goals that are out of reach as that will set you up for disappointment. For example, don’t shoot to lose 40 pounds in a month, you want to set goals that are going to get you on a healthy track and keep you on that track for the rest of your life.

6. Compete:  Competing is a great way to push yourself to new levels, it adds a level of excitement to attaining your goals, and knowing that those who you are competing against may be out there working harder than you, or that slacking on your training will prevent you from finishing a race or winning an ultimate prize, you will find you are much more motivated to stay on track.

7. Educate: The more educated you are about how your body works, and about how nutrition affects and changes your body, the easier it will be for you to make good choices about your own personal health and fitness. Ignorance is bliss, until it leads to health issues, self esteem issues, and/or disappointment in what you have allowed your body to become. The information you need to achieve your goals is out there, it’s just up to you to seek it out.

8. Move:  The only way you are going to add that muscle, drop body fat and transform your physique is to MOVE.  If an hour of exercise seems daunting at first, just get moving for 5 minutes, you will find that once you get your body in action it is much easier to keep it going.

9. Change your scenery: Revamp your workouts by having a change of scenery. Go to a different gym to switch things up or take your training outside.

10. Try something new: Getting into a steady workout routine as part of your day to day life is absolutely beneficial, but to avoid boredom don’t be afraid to try something new. Maybe you’ve always wanted to try yoga or learn karate or try out that cool kickboxing class. Mix things up and keep them fresh by branching out and trying something you’ve always wanted to.

11. Listen to music: Studies show that music elevates your mood and can enhance your workouts. Having your favorite beats playing while you are strength training or doing cardio can help you keep going even when you are tired. If you are slowing down or thinking of prematurely quitting, kick on one of your favorite songs and you will get a surge of rejuvenation.

12. Track your measurements and workouts: When you first set out to achieve your goals, be sure to know where you are starting from so that you will know how much progress you have made over the course of time. Track your stats and measurements and track your workouts. It’s exciting to see when you could only do 4 push ups on day one and 12 weeks later you can do 50! If you don’t track your progress you will not know how far you have come. If you are having a tough day, a great way to get reenergized is by checking your stats and seeing positive progress in the right direction, letting you know that your hard work is paying off.

13. Take Pictures: When you start out on a fitness journey, it is highly likely that you will hate your starting point, regardless of what that might be. The majority of people are motivated to visually look better, so seeing the condition of their current physique can be difficult. Nevertheless this is a critical piece of the puzzle, to actually SEE the changes in your body instead of just FEEL them is very powerful. Take pictures every 2-4 weeks to see the change in your body. Post your pictures someplace that you can see them every day so that you will remember why you are making the right choices day in and day out.

14. Journal your nutrition: When you are working towards attaining a fitness or health goal, 80% of your success is going to depend on the eating choices that you are making on a day to day basis. Stay on track and motivated by writing down all that you eat in a given day, this will also help you avoid mindlessly snacking or going over the amount of calories that you should be taking in per day.

15. Reward yourself:  The internal rewards of achieving a fitness goal are great, however giving yourself an external reward can increase your motivation even further. A couple ideas to positively reinforce without having a fitness setback are purchasing a new pair of running shoes or workout clothes, or enjoying some pampering at the spa.

16. Schedule your workouts: We all have extremely busy lives. Our time is consumed by jobs, families and any number of activities which will easily pull our attention away from taking work out time for ourselves. Putting your health and fitness on the back burner just sets you up for long term health issues and unhappiness. Your fitness IS important, so take the time to schedule your workouts into your day. Treat it as an important appointment that you can’t miss, and make sure you get it done!

17. Find your right time: You may be a morning person or perhaps you are an evening person. Regardless of which time of day you find yourself most energized, you can achieve your goals. Plan your training schedule accordingly so that you hit your workout of choice at the time when you feel strongest and most eager to exercise.

18. Eliminate negatives: Cutting negative people, places and circumstances out of your life will open you up for more positives. To the best of your ability, avoid negative people who would put you down, negative places that cause you to fall off track or put you in a bad mood, and negative circumstances that can lead you to emotional stress and poor choice making. Cutting all negatives in your life out may not be an option, but do your best to eliminate as many of them as possible.

19. Get creative in the kitchen: Eating healthy is crucial to your fitness success, and good foods can taste great. The only way you are going to enjoy eating healthy for a lifetime is if you find foods that you enjoy eating on a daily basis. Find ways of preparing your foods that please your palate. You’ve got options including but not limited to, grilling, baking or steaming. Hit up the spices aisle at your local grocery store and find some new ways to flavor your meats and veggies, there are loads of options out there.

20. Be prepared: Preparation is the key to your success if you are serious about achieving fitness goals. If you are consistently unprepared, meaning you don’t have the right foods available at the right times, or you forgot your gym clothes, then you can easily lose your motivation and fall off track. Schedule the time on weekends or during your “down” times to cook your foods and having them ready to go when you need them. Tupperware to store these items in your fridge or freezer as well as a small cooler so you can take your food with you to work or out running errands will help you stay on track.

21. Talk to your family: Family support can be one of the make or break aspects to achieving your fitness goals. A home filled with naysayers is difficult to avoid, so it’s important that early on in your journey you sit them down, have a heart to heart explaining your goals and why they are important to you. Explain that you need their support in order to achieve them. If this doesn’t work, you CAN still achieve your goals, it will just be a matter of tapping into a deeper level of inner strength.

22. Join an online fitness community: When you are working towards a fitness goal, it helps when you know there are others out there working towards similar aspirations and struggling with similar obstacles. Having an online support team can be especially important if you are lacking encouragement at home.

23. Find a great personal trainer:  Having a quality trainer to motivate you and guide you can be the piece of the puzzle that will get you to your goals. A good trainer will be able to help you set goals; and guide you on the lifestyle, eating and exercise choices that will get you there. Knowing that you have a trainer there to teach you, push you, hold you accountable and keep you on track can absolutely help you get to your goals if this is something that is within your budget. There are also online training programs (such as what we offer at Hitch Fit) which enable you to virtually work with a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost of one on one. You still have them there to guide you, answer your questions and help you stay on track, so if money is an issue this can be an effective way to get to your goals by working with a trainer at a much lower rate.

24. Practice positive affirmations: Belief in yourself is critical to your success. You may doubt your ability and find yourself engaging in negative self talk. If that is the case then you must begin positive affirmations on a daily basis. When  positively affirming be sure that you use present tense such as “I am” rather than “I will”. Come up with a list of 5-10 positive affirmations about yourself and repeat them on a daily basis. Over time these positive thoughts will become engrained in your mind and will be a natural part of how you think of yourself. Even if you already have a positive though process, affirmations can make your mind even more powerful over your ability to succeed at your goals.

Look at your new healthy eating and exercise choices as your new powerful, positive and healthy lifestyle, not as something you are just doing briefly. they call it the season of giving, i’m here… yours for the taking

it was the first time you had a date to a holiday celebration with your family. granted, the date was just your best friend, luke, but it was a date nonetheless, and since you had been friends so long, since preschool practically, even your grandmother knew not to ask if you two were dating.

the entire dinner went by without a hitch, luke fitting in seamlessly with your family’s dynamic, their chatter, their jokes, their gentle teasing of you, even knew to bow his head respectfully at the mention of your passed grandfather. and then after dinner, when you were all finished opening each other’s gifts to each other (bless luke, really, he had gotten you the sweater you had been coveting for months), you decided to go for a walk, to try to lessen the rock sitting in your stomach from dinner. and no one questioned it when luke jumped up to go with you.

outside in the chilly air, it felt natural for you to get close, your arms instantly linking and your shoulders connecting as you walked together. his body was always warmer than yours, and you had no reservations about using him as a heater. still close to him, you slipped your free hand into his coat pocket, intertwining your fingers with his to try to keep your circulation going. he chuckled lowly as your icy digits found his, turning his head and leaning to press a small, short kiss to your temple as you continued.

“so,” he said, his voice sounding a little huskier than usual. “i have one more little thing for you. a gift, kind of.”

“luke, you shouldn’t have,” you chided, rolling your eyes at him. ever since his band had taken off, he had a little more cash to spend, and for some odd reason, he liked to spend it on you, even though you told him all the time not to.

“it didn’t cost me anything y/n, i promise,” he said, and you felt him adjust so that his other hand could fumble around in his pocket. “i just found it the last time i was home, thought i’d… see what you thought. it’s the season of giving, after all.”

you were still rolling your eyes but giggling as he pulled an envelope from his pocket, handing it to you. the two of you came to a halt on the roadside while you looked at the package confusedly, then slid your finger underneath the flap to open it up. inside, a little piece of notebook paper sat, looking aged, but somehow, special.

“what is this?” you asked softly, and he exhaled, not impatiently, but nervously before saying, “just open it.”

the scrawl on the paper was that of a child’s. barely readable, written in orange crayon and completed with drawings of dogs and scribbles. still puzzled, you began to read:
dear y/n, i love you. your the most beeyoutifull girl i no, even my mom. today you look prity to. your hare is prity and so is the dress you wour. 1 day i am gonna mary you. love forever, luke. ps: i m still mad you took my skittles butt i will probbabbly four give you i love you

“oh my god, luke,” you gasped, laughing a little. “what is this from, first grade? you had a crush on me? aww, lukey-bear…” you were smiling at the note, not really noticing the pain that was slowly etching itself further into his features.

“yeah. i did,” he said, trying to smile but it wasn’t happening. “and this one was from kindergarten, actually.”

“there are more? oh my god, luke, you have to let me see them–luke? luke, are you okay?” you had looked up at him, and he was biting his lip, his face paling slightly. if you hadn’t been so worried about him now, you might have noticed his pupils dilating, but no one saw it coming, not even luke it seemed.

his lips pressed into yours forcefully, before either of you could realize what was fully happening. they were both soft and ruthless, not letting up on yours but staying gentle, his shaking hands now cupping your cheeks softly. his lips were moving, but yours were frozen. in fact, your entire body was frozen, paralyzed because this was your best friend, the boy you’d nursed through hangovers, who had stayed up all night with you after your dog died and let you cry, who you used to play make believe with in your old tree house… who you’d had on and off crushes on since you knew what a crush was. this was your best friend, and he was kissing you. and you couldn’t get enough of it, you never wanted it to end.

all of a sudden, he broke off. in the seconds after, you were both speechless, him at his own audacity, you at your own revelation. your eyes met briefly, his blue eyes looking worried before they dropped, him sighing in defeat. turning away, he mumbled a “i shouldn’t have, i’m sorry” before jogging away, then allowing his pace to turn into an all out sprint. and you were left in the cold alone, confused and still clutching the letter to your chest.

Yes to all of the above, definitely, and also: what if the spanking was a spontaneous thing–an accident, even. Like, early that morning Harry is cooking breakfast and Eggsy is casually parading around the kitchen wearing nothing but a towel around his waist, all wet-haired and broad-chested and epitome-of-youth-like. Then he makes some sort of cheeky remark, and Harry absent-mindedly, his focus more on the eggs in the pan, slaps Eggsy’s butt in jest. It’s much harder than he intended, but when he turns to apologize there’s this glint in Eggsy’s eyes.

Eggsy hooks one finger into the collar of Harry’s shirt and draws him in close, kisses the apology out of him, the wet strands of his hair cold between Harry’s fingers. Eggsy doesn’t stop there, his naked chest warm against Harry’s as he crowds Harry back against the wall. He’s hard, grinding down against Harry’s thigh a little, and his breath hitches when Harry fits his hands over the curves of his ass.

“Really?” Harry says, amused, and Eggsy grins up at him, shrugs.

The eggs end up burned, of course.
