“I walked through the door with you, the air was cold… but something bout it felt like home somehow…”
"Come on, love, you’re going to freeze to death!“ Tom called.
I smiled at him and ran up the sidewalk to join him at the door of his parents’ house. Tom sat my bags on the ground and reached into his pocket to pull out his key.
As soon as the door was open, the loud scream of Tom’s name filled both of our ears as his family came running around the corner to take in the rare sight of Tom Holland standing inside their home.
Tom hugged all of them before turning to introduce me.
"Guys, this is Y/N. The love of my life.” Tom said with a wide smile across his face.
Tom’s mother smiled at me before pulling me into a loving hug.
"Oh, I can just tell you’re going to fit right in with us! Tom, take her bags up to her room! We’re going to give her a tour really fast!“
I smiled at Tom before following his mother down the hallway.
"I told you they’d love you.” Tom whispered in my ear as he pressed a kiss to my temple.
"Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place and I can picture it after all these days…“
Tom’s hand held mine as we walked down the path. His other hand held the leash that Tessa was on. I pressed myself into his side as another cold strike of the wind hit us.
"I told you to bring your coat, love."
"I know, but it’s not that bad when the wind isn’t blowing. And besides, I have you beside me to keep me warm."
Tom smiled down at me and kissed my forehead as we continued our walk through the woods. Tom let go of my hand and wrapped his arm around me as I hugged his torso. We both walked in silence as the leaves began to fall around us.
"This is my absolute favorite time of year. It’s so beautiful, I could just stay out here and watch it all day.” I said.
Tom hummed in agreement.
"Well, as great as that would be, cuddling up by a warm fire with some hot chocolate is pretty great too.“
I laughed and hugged Tom even tighter.
Tom then stopped walking and turned to face me.
"I have to tell you something, Y/N…"
"Okay… what is it?"
"I-I love you."
I stared up at Tom in shock. Neither one of us had said those three words yet. I could tell Tom was growing anxious by my silence.
"I love you, too, Tom."
Tom’s smile grew huge and he pulled me into a kiss as the leaves continued to fall around us.
"Cause there we are again on that little town street, you almost ran the red cause you were looking over at me…"
"Why does Harrison have to live so far away from you?” I whined as we continued on the long drive towards our friend’s house.
"Because that’s the house his mum and dad bought.“ Tom whined back.
I giggled and reached over to turn the music up. I began to quietly sing the song that was playing in the radio. My feet were placed on his dashboard. Even though he hated when I did that, he had given up on trying to keep me from doing. Because I always did it.
"Uh, Tom? Why aren’t you slowing down? Tom! That’s a red light! Slow down!"
Tom then hit the breaks as hard as he could so that we wouldn’t fly out and get hit by other cars.
"What was that all about?” I asked as I put my hands on my hips.
"Sorry, love. You’re just really beautiful. The wind was blowing through your hair and you’re voice, God your voice. I just couldn’t look away…“ he said as he began to blush.
"Alright, lover boy. Just pay attention to the road.” I said, causing us both to laugh.
“Photo album on the counter, your cheeks are turning red…"
Tom groaned as his mother continued to flip through the old photo album.
"And here’s Tom after he lost his first tooth. He got so scared and thought he was dying! He woke up and screamed at the top of his lungs. It was hilarious!”
Tom then stood up and grabbed the photo album from his mother.
"Please mum, not now!“
Tom’s cheeks were bright red which made me and his mother laugh even harder.
"Well, I think you were very adorable, Tom.” I said as I leaned across and kissed his cheek.
The action only made his cheeks turn redder.
"Oh! I have to show you the one of him from the time he put my make up on himself!“ Nikki said as she raced off towards her room.
"NO!” Tom screamed as he chased his mom down the hallway.
"Cause there we are again in the middle of the night, we’re dancing round the kitchen in the refrigerator light…“
I had woken him up after I had a bad dream. Tom immediately took me to the kitchen to heat me up a glass of warm milk to help me go back to sleep. As we waited for the milk to warm on the stove, Tom pulled me into his chest and began to dance with me around the kitchen.
"And you can tell everybody that this is your song…” Tom quietly sang as he twirled me around.
Tom knew how much I loved this song solely from the fact that Ewan McGregor sounds like an absolute angel when he sings it in Moulin Rouge! Tom immediately became jealous the first time I expressed my crush on Ewan McGregor because he had played his son in The Impossible.
Although Tom wasn’t as talented in Ewan, I loved his version a million times more because it was coming from him.
"Maybe we got lost in translation maybe I asked for too much… but maybe this thing was a masterpiece till you tore it all up…“
"Tom, I’m not comfortable with this… I want you to follow your dreams, but this is too much. Please, just be honest with me. Is it true?"
Tom stared at me. His silence was all I needed.
I slid out from the booth in the coffee shop and began to walk towards the exit. As I reached the door, I turned to face Tom one last time. He had his head placed in his hands.
"I just wanted you to love me.” I said to him before I walked out.
“You call me up again just to break me like a promise, so casually cruel in the name of being honest…“
I hadn’t left my house in days. The thought of seeing Tom was too much for me to handle. I still love him. I think I always will. I felt my phone ring beside me and I answered it stupidly without looking at the caller ID.
"Y/N? Thank god…"
"Oh.. hi, Tom."
"Listen love, I know I hurt you but she meant nothing to me. I love you. I will always love you. You’re the only girl I’ve ever wanted! I was drunk and I hadn’t seen you in weeks and I was so lonely and she looked so much like you. I love you. I only want you. Please give me a second chance, I won’t let you down."
I felt a single tear fall down my cheeks as I heard his pleas. My heart was pounding against my chest, begging my brain to just forgive him so that it’s suffering could end, but I knew I had to stay strong and stick to my morales, because if I didn’t, I would lose who I am.
"Tom, never call me again."
And with that, I hung up.
"Time won’t fly its like I’m paralyzed by it, I’d like to be my old self again, but I’m still trying to find it…”
I spent what felt like years trying to fall back into my old life, but Tom was everywhere. His new success with Spider-Man had his face plastered on every magazine. I knew it had only been a few weeks since the phone call, but it felt like centuries.
Tom had invaded my heart and I knew he would never truly leave it.
I walked down the path that I had walked many times with him and Tessa. The same path where we first told each other “I love you”. I felt more tears slip from my eyes. I felt my heart break a million times more as I saw the leaves fall around me. Memories of the time I spent with him were constantly running through my mind, reminding me of what I had lost. I wish I had taken him back. What he had done was wrong, but if I hadn’t have been so stubborn I know we could’ve overcome it, but now I’ve ruined it. He’s probably already got another girl wrapped up in his arms, whispering all the sweet things that used to be for my ears only. He probably took her down this very path to tell her he loved her. He probably dances with her in the middle of the night and sings to her now. These thoughts ran through my mind as a constant reminder that Tom Holland was no longer mine.

My mum was hit by a car just before I was born. A strange man brought her back from the death just in time before, what
the beliefs call them, the soul takers, the Grim Reaper
strange man protected my mother for enough time, so she could give birth to her
daughter- me. However, even he couldn‘t protect her long enough and the soul
keepers found her and took her with them. My mothers savior, Kim
Yugyeom, the most famous Goblin, managed to hide me from The Reapers and gave me to my father.
I lived quite happy with my dad for about eight years before
another man in robe tried to take me away and bring me to the underworld where he claimed I
belong as a missing soul. My father told the low ranked Grim Reaper
to go away from where he came and that my soul didn’t belong to the underworld.
The low ranked Reaper told my father that if he doesn’t move out the way he
will die trying to protect me. And for the second time in my life, the Goblin
Catching the hand of the
Reaper who was ready to cast the deadly spell in order to kill my father, Kim
Yugyeom saved the day. “Come on. I’m not sure you want to do that. We are
friends, right? Right, Reaper? You are new, aren’t you?” and suddenly his voice
turned dark with heavy threats ”This family and especially this girl, are off
limits. You, don’t touch them. Am I clear?”
The Reapers eyes twitched with
fear. He was so afraid, that he couldn’t say anything and only nodded. Mr.Kim
smiled satisfied. “Good. Please continue with your list and don’t come back to
this house. Have a nice day.” And then the Goblin literally threw the Reaper
out the house. “Are you okay? Did he managed to hurt you?”
My father who had hugged me
the whole time, not letting me go of his arms, loose his grip, hearing the concern
in the voice of the mythological creature. “I’m fine. Take her, Yugyeom and
protect her. Our plan won’t work at this point. She has to survive and we both
know it. She was the chosen one. I know it and more important, her mother knew
this. Keep her safe.” I was plain afraid. A stranger came in our house trying
to take me and then another stranger came and my father just give me up to him.
I didn’t want to go. At all. “Strawberry, baby, you have to listen to dad. Are
you listening carefully?” I nodded, the glass strawberries on my rubber bands
making a noise as well. “You two talk. I’ll go collect her things.” Said the Goblin,
disappearing up the stairs. “Y/N, dad will ask you to go with this nice man to
his house. He will take care of you while daddy go to do some business. Can you
do that for me? You can call him uncle, how about that? He is a really funny guy
and you two will have great time together. When I come back, you can tell me
about all your adventures.” “I don’t want to go. He is scary.” My dad laughed
and gave me Mr. Sparkles, the white fluffy teddy bunny. “Mr. Sparkles will
protect you. I promise.” ”You promise?” “I swear in my pinky unicorn promise.” “Okay.
I’ll go.” “Fast. We have no time.” Said the Goblin, looking around as if we
were being watched. “Thank you,Yugyeom.””Don’t worry I’ll keep her safe.”
And that was the last time I
saw my father. This was almost ten years ago. Right now, I was looking at the
white ceiling waiting for my alarm to ring so I can go to school. As a senior, I
am so close to graduating. Graduating, becoming legal and living a happily ever
after. But not me. My destiny is written in the sky. I have to the Grim Reapers
wife. I have no idea what this means. I have never seen him and usually he is
depicted as a skeleton with a hood. I’m not sure I want to be a skeleton wife. You
can imagine the sex. It won’t be…usual for sure.
“Y/N, are you ready? You have
like ten minutes before your class starts.” Uncle Yugyeom has been taking care
for me for the last ten years. He may be a Goblin, but he is a good man. I love
him as a father although now that time had passed we look almost at the same
age. “I’m ready! Let’s go. Are we teleporting or getting a car?”
Jumping from my bed, putting
the bag on my shoulder, I ran down the dark marble stairs ready to hear my
favorite answer “Teleport.”
Here it comes the exciting
part. I walk out of our door and I’m right in front of the massive building I
call school, sweet school. I don’t have to wear three layers of clothes in the
winter and I don’t have to worry for the summer heat. My life is amazing. “Young
lady, where you think you are going without a jacket and a scarf? Outside is
minus degrees. Come here.” Yugyeom snapped his fingers and my cotton pink coat
and baby blue long scarf were right in his hands. He helped me wear my coat and
then put my scarf around my neck. “Now go.” As I opened the door, ready to
teleport Yugyeom shouted “Wait! No boys, no distractions. You can have a
friend. A girl. No man. Nothing with a penis and male hormones. If any man
touches you, I will know. Alright?” “Alright.” He waved me goodbye as he had
did for the last ten years. And I teleported. Let’s go to the world of school
As hours passed by I managed
to survive through almost all of my classes. I have only two more hours of
English and I’m done for the day.
There is something that
bothers me though. In our school, we have way too many ghosts for my liking. No
one can stop ghost. When I was small they were absolutely annoying, but now you
can say I even like them. When I get off from school, I sit on a bench, if its
not cold, and pretend to listen to music and draw, while actually I listen to
amazing stories from the ghosts. There are ghosts so old, they help me out with
my history lessons.
“Are you the Grim Reapers wife?” a ghost whispered in
mine ear. She was a rather beautiful ghost. A girl not bigger than me. But this
question… If I collected a dollar for everytime I had to answer it,by now I
wouldn’t be going to school. Sitting on the bench, sketching the
school for a numerous time, I waited for lunch break to finish. You can say, I
was little annoyed by the question and without much entosiasm, I answered.“I don’t know. I haven’t seen
him.” Suddenly all the ghosts around me trembled and some
of them disappeared, while the beautiful ghost looked at me and whispered
quietly “Oh…it’s true. I’m
sorry. I’m sorry. Bye.” I was fascinated. This has never happened
before. I wanted to know why was she so scared suddenly. “Wait. Talk to me.” But
it was too late. All ghost around me had disappeared and I was asking myself. What
on Earth has happened?
He grins in a big, schoolboy way when the subject of girls comes up. “I had girlfriends—it wasn’t like dating. I was like ‘going with’ girls for the whole year.” Not all of Judd’s dates were successful. He tells about the time that he went out on a blind date as a favor to his father. The girl, he discovered when he picked her up, was “devastatingly beautiful!"—so much so that he couldn’t keep his eyes off her. As a result, he ran a red light and hit another car. Fortunately no one was hurt. "It was the worst,” Judd says in disgust. “I could never call her up again. What would I say? ‘Hey, you wanna go for another ice cream?’ ” Judd Nelson’s inetview for Teenage Magazine, April 1986
Imagine: You are Patricia and Otis’ adoptive daughter, and when the farm is taken over by walkers you are devastated by the news that Patricia (your mom) is dead too and you want to go back to the farm and Daryl stops you. Can you make it romantic? Like have Daryl be in love with you.
This story takes place in the last episode of season 2 of The Walking Dead.
You didn’t know who was alive. Everyone separated and you could only hope they were all okay. Millions of questions crossed you mind, they terrorized you and forced you to stop the vehicle you were driving and cry.
What happened to mom?
Am I the only one left?
What if they didn’t make it?
Did Randall cause all that to happen?
If he did, what if he is holding everyone hostage?
Did Daryl, Glenn, Rick, and Shane ever make it back?
Should I go back to the farm?
All your thoughts and sobs were blinding your ability to think straight. The panic of thinking you were completely alone was making you lightheaded, but the next second you managed to get a grip on yourself and a thought came to your mind. Rick was always going on about the highway they lost that little girl in, they were always going back there, maybe if I go and wait there a few minutes I’ll find them.
You started your engine and headed toward the only place you were hoping they were at, that little amount of hope did not stop the tears from overflowing out of your eyes.
The drive took a lot longer than you had expected, mostly because you were avoiding hitting cars that were just abandoned on the side of the road. The spot you were looking for in the highway was coming close and your heart skipped beat when you saw the all too familiar cars parked together in that same spot.
You pulled your car over and ran out of it, Maggie and Beth giving you the warmest hug, a hug much needed. You three were always like sisters, Maggie the oldest, you, and Beth. You smiled and looked around noticing that you were probably the last one to arrive, but the face you were looking for was nowhere in sight, and the looks everyone was giving you weren’t helping.
“Where’s my mom?” You asked, you could feel your bottom lip quivering. You turned to look over at Herschel who was serious and avoiding eye contact with you “Uncle?”
“I’m so sorry honey, she, she didn’t make it.” Maggie broke into tears the minute you let out a loud sob.
“Oh my God! No please no! No! Please not this! Mom!” The pain in your chest only grew by the second. Beth held your hand and Maggie hugged you, your tears and sobs muffled by her chest.
“She’s got a fever.” Maggie placed on of her hands on your forehead.
“Is she bitten?” Carol asked, everyone with the knowledge that having a fever is one of the signs that you have been infected was left to assume such conclusion.
Whatever they said after that didn’t really matter because your vision began to blur and you found yourself hitting the concrete.
You woke up to the sound of everyone arguing. They all seem to be fighting over something with Rick. Actually it looked more like a one-sided argument, because Rick just seemed to be yelling at all of them.
You stood up Daryl being the only one who noticed walked up to you.
“You all right?” He asked, his blue eyes burning through your soul. You had only been caught under their fire once or twice.
“I’m fine. I just need my car keys.” You said reaching for you shoes and placing the on your bear feet.
“For what?” He questioned taking a hold of your arm, realizing he had laid his hands in you after you flinched from the pain of his grasp.
“I’m going to go get my mom.” You said avoiding his eyes.
“Beth said they saw her go down.”
“You don’t understand! If the walkers got her then I can’t just let them finish eating her flesh and leaving her to the bone as if she was a decomposing body. How many people do I have to lose before you guys understand that I am completely alone? I can’t let her become a walker. I just don’t think I can live with the guilt of leaving her there like that. That’s why I have to go back to the farm.” The tears once again beat you before you could even fight them.
“I ain’t gonna let ya go.” The tone of his voice, his thick accent reminding you that not so long ago you were crushing on this man. This man who only worried about his group, this man who had only spoken to you once when he was shot by Andrea and you had to feed him, and only to tell you that he can do all the shit by himself and that he didn’t need a little girl babysitting him.
“Surely to you it doesn’t matter if I go or stay.” You said quietly like a child taking back to their parents silently but he caught every word you said.
“Well what are you gon’ tell Hershel? Maggie? Or Beth? Were you planning on saying anything at all?” He caught you, your plan was only to tell Rick and just walk off, after all no one had a right to stop you.
“What about my mom? She is probably turned by now.” You looked around but noticed everyone was engrossed in the argument to even notice you and Daryl were having an argument of your own.
“You’re right. She probably is turned. So if you go back there you must be prepared to have the memory of your mom trying to eat you be the last thing you remember about her. Cause don’t be stupid to think that she will remember who you were and that she’ll run up to you and hug you. No, the only reason why she will even go near you will be because you look appetizing enough to be dinner.” His word were harsher than your reality, you really didn’t think of it like that, all you thought was that you will see her and just shoot.
“Then what do I do? Do I just sit here and think that some other asshole will do it? What no one ever puts her out of her misery?” You asked. You looked into Daryl’s eyes and saw them softening.
“Her blood won’t be on your hands.” He spoke softly, not like him at all. “You can fight to stay alive because that’s what she wanted for you, and in case it gets too hard, I got your back.”
There on the side of the camp fire, where no one could see you, where no one could hear you, where no one saw Daryl pulling you in for a hug, where everyone was too busy arguing with each other to notice the sweet kiss you an Daryl shared.
Author’s Note: This is part two of “Shocked”, which I am glad to say that people seem to have enjoyed. I really liked writing both parts, so I really hope you guys like reading it.
Pairing: Pietro (AoU) X Reader
Recap: (in part one) the reader and the rest of the Avengers are sent to a small town to put down a violent mutant rebellion, but it turns out the mutants are stronger. With most of the team injured or out of sorts, they all (except the reader) have gathered in the local church, awaiting their deaths. What the rest of the Avengers don’t know is that the reader had a hidden ability, one that may destroy everyone if she can not control it. The reader has just gotten permission from Fury to use it.
“Shocked” (Part Two)
“Sir,” you piped up. “I can…”
Fury knew exactly what you were talking about. “Yes, Y/N. We’re out of options.”
You closed you eyes and clenched your fists together, that was exactly what you needed to hear, but also what you never wanted to hear. For as long as you had known about them, your powers had been a burden. You would have done anything to be human. But now, at least you could use them to do at least one thing right.
It was perfect, really. The Avengers were all on one place, which in turn drew all of the mutants together. Maybe, just maybe, if you could keep your calm and get rid of the mutants fast, you could reseal your powers and not level the rest of the town. But, it was very unlikely. You had only ever used your powers a few times, and each time had been more detrimental than the last.
You made your way to the church where Natasha had said that they were hiding out, and sure enough, both Pietro and Vision were still fighting. You could see that Pietro was a lot slower than normal and that his punches were beginning to be borderline ineffective, but he still fought on. Vision was doing okay, but the number of mutants around him was too many and he couldn’t fight them all off. You saw Tony’s suit laying on the ground in scraps, so you assumed that he gave up on fighting once his suit became useless and fled inside the church.
“Pietro, Vision, get inside the church.”
Pietro looked up at you, his icy blue eyes widened in shock, and then in horror. “No, Y/N! I told you to stay where I left you! Get away from here!”
You laughed a bitter, humorless laugh. Everything was falling apart and all he could worry about was you?
“Pietro, get inside. You too Vision.”
Neither of them budged.
“Do what agent Y/N says, now.” Fury’s voice boomed through the head sets, and Pietro looked at you with tears in his eyes.
“Y/N, what could you possibly do?” I came up next to you, forgetting about the mutants that wanted his blood on their hands. “If you die…”
You want to assure him that you wont, but you can’t. You have no idea what will happen.
You look up at Vision with a desperate look etched onto your face. “Please, get him inside and safe.”
Vision nodded and took Pietro by the arm, dragging him away from you. Pietro fought back; punching Vision, screaming words in a language you didn’t know, and giving you the most scared set of eyes that you had ever seen.
You held back your tears, you didn’t have time to cry. The mutants were on you faster than lightning hitting the ground. Jumping at you, clawing at your skin.
“Stop this!” You pleaded, hoping that maybe they would listen to you. “You don’t have to kill to make the humans notice you! This will only show them that you are exactly the same monsters that they think you are!”
They weren’t listening to you, they were past the point of coming a back to a rational thought.
Between the bodies of mutants that were on top of you, you could see the entire team watching you in horror, yet still staying loyal to Fury’s orders about staying inside the church. It was the only way that they would even have a chance of walking away from this town alive.
“It’s time.” Fury said into your earpiece.
You swallowed and shut your eyes as tightly as you possibly could, then shot out your hands. You felt your fingers begin to shimmer and shake, you felt the raw energy coming through your veins.
You snapped your eyes open and let go of all the seal that you had put on your powers.
Bolts of lightning shot out of your fingers and hit every mutant around you, sending them flying through the air. The lighting kept coming, hitting buildings, cars, and anything else that was within a mile radius of you. You heard the windows of the church shatter, and you prayed that your team wasn’t hit.
All of the mutants were down and out, yet you couldn’t stop. The lighting grew larger and larger, hitting almost everything around it with extreme power. The bolts themselves grew larger in size and in energy. Fires erupted all around you, buildings crumbled to the ground.
So, You thought, I couldn’t control it after all.
The lightning was getting to be too much even for you, it began to bounce off roads and building at shoot back in your direction.
Eventually, you were going to get hit. You were going to die. You were glad that you had been able to put down the rebellion, but at what cost?
You were shaking violently, you were completely out of control. Every time you opened your eyes all you saw the destruction that you caused, which only fueled your panic, making it harder and harder to stop.
“Someone, stop me before I level this entire town!” You screamed in the air, hoping that one of the Avengers could hear you over the crackling lightning. You were in so much pain from your own powers that you couldn’t even stand anymore, you sank your knees, lightning still shooting in every direction.
You felt strong arms wrap around your back and hold you tight, rocking you back and forth whilst another hand rubbed your back soothingly. “I am right here, listen to my voice. Only focus on my voice.”
Every once and a while Pietro would quickly leave you to doge a bolt of lightning that was coming at him, but he always came back and continued to calm you down. Eventually, after what felt like years, the lightning vanished and was concealed yet again inside you.
You were breathing heavily, as was Pietro.
“It is okay, I love you…” He whispered in your ear. “I love you…I love you…”
Once you were stable enough, you opened your eyes to see all of the avengers watching you with amazement. They hadn’t known that such a fire resided in you, and honestly, you hadn’t either.
Clint put his bow on the ground and looked at you with wide eyes. “Well, that was…shocking.”
