“all the love songs are becoming about you now”
Sebastian was off filming in another country which meant that seeing each other in person was not happening at all. But there was a lot of text messaging and face time calls. Even if he sometime left you on read or had to cut the video message short.
On this night, he called you first. When you accepted the video call you didn’t expect to find his big dopey smile taking over your entire phone screen.
“Are you drunk, Sebastian Stan?”
“Maybe…” he averted his eyes away from the camera. “And slightly high.”
“Oh, God.” You laughed and shook your head. He was absolutely adorable - especially while being under the influence.
“I’m hungry. But I don’t have food and I don’t want to call and order.”
He playfully glared into the camera and you stuck your tongue out at him.
“Hey,” he licked his lips. “You know what? All the love songs are becoming about you now.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” You furrowed your brows.
“I was at dinner right and then we went to this bar and someone went and messed with the jukebox and played that fucking song—what’s it called…” he trailed off. “It’s by that red headed guy! Perfect? I think that’s what it’s called. And it reminded me of you-so fucking much.”
“Oh…” you bit down on your lip. You weren’t sure if he was going to remember saying this after falling asleep.
“What?” He asked, noticing the look on your face.
“I don’t know,” you shrugged. Your voice came out smaller than you expected. “I’ve never had anyone tell me a song reminds me of them, let alone say love songs are becoming about me.”
“Why wouldn’t they? I do think of you often. I think it’s pretty normal for love songs to remind you of your significant other.”
You nodded slowly, “Sure. I guess.”
He cracked a smile, “Come on. It’s a good thing. You know what? I’m gonna make a playlist of love songs that remind me of you.”
