his existence gives me hope

And put your fucking iPhones down for God’s fucking sake. Like, Jesus, that is causing terrible things for art because people aren’t becoming attached to experiences, they’re becoming attached to digital memories, imprinted on their phones, which is weakening the link, culturally, in your mind, to art. That’s crazy. xx

WORDS CAN’T EVEN BEGIN TO EXPRESS WHAT THIS DOES TO ME

Look at him. LOOK AT HIS FACE. LOOK AT HIS EYESSSSSS. He doesn’t even need a fucking filter, the God that he is.

Look at his edit of literal angel!Niall:

Speaking of filters though, I may have saved a bunch of photos and fiddled around with different filters because I wanted to see the beauty of him and his eyes in all of them AND LOOK:

ALSO, I have this thing with B&W photos of him, because you can still tell exactly how beautiful his eyes are and I love it, so:

HE’S SO BEAUTIFUL

I met a man tonight who has been traveling (or “tramping” as he called it) for 35 years. All I want is to sit down for hours and have him recount to me every place and every person and every experience he has come across, but when I asked him to tell me about his life he confided in me that he is dying and is too sad to think about the amazing journeys he’s had. It breaks my heart to see someone with such a love of life in their last stages. I wish I could take on all of his despair and anguish so that he could live out the rest of his life as fully and incredibly as he has for such a long time. But meeting him (his name is Rico) also gives me so much hope for existence of true happiness and fulfillment. I can truly and honestly say that this man has loved every minute of his life and would continue living the way he has been for as long as possible if he was given the chance. I think when your biggest fear is not being able to continue living your life the way you have been, you’ve lived your life correctly.
